Dr. O kept fiddling with their prosthetic arm as the students flowed past them, many taking care to give the entity a wide berth. They looked at the Aquamancer as she approached them, water container in hand. “Entertainment-is-a-subjective-variable-in-instances-of-chronological-movement. All-chronological-movement-has-been-educational. Doctor-Ouroboros-will-return-from-their-movements-with-valuable-data.”

They looked at the front gates and materialized in front of them. Dr. O closed the front gates and immediately returned to their original position. “All-students-are-not-accounted-for. Dr. O looked to the auditorium. “The-orientation-will-begin. Professor-Porto-will-be-reminded-not-to-shapeshift-during-the headmistress’-speech. Professor-Geralt-has-expressed-his-distain-for-auditorium-seating-facilities. They-do-not-agree-with-his-personal-comfort. Professor-Cunobelinus-has-been-reprimanded-for-her-aquatic-usage-on-faculty. Dr. O dematerializes and rematerializes in the auditorium on the stage in front of the already seated students as others still file in. They sat themselves in a chair and pulled up their prosthetic arm again, a holographic display enabling as they swiped through screens.

WALLY AMBROSE
Wally looked around the Auditorium and whistled as he admired the sheer size of the room and the equipment that they used. 'Must've cost them a fortune...' he thought quietly. He cringed a little when he heard Doctor Ouroboros talk in that creepy synthetic voice. He sure is looking forward to having class with that nightmare inducing creep. Nevertheless, Wally continued looking around.

There were dozens of students, all of them his age or at least a year older. Each with their own powers, ready to give everything they had. 'Sorry guys but this speedster can offer a whole lot more,' he thought with a smirk on his face. His only problem is that annoying "cool down" that his legs have to go through after a while.

After looking around, Wally found an empty row of seats. He quick-- no, he slowly walked and sat on one.

Vivian Evans
------------------------------
She sat there, watching the stage carefully as Doctor Ouroboros welcomed the students and recapped what the people will do and not do during the presentation. She settled into the chair, crossed her legs over one another and waited, leaning her elbow on the arm rest, her knuckles resting against her chin. She watched around the room, specifically the four corners of the roof, and the people who waltz in. She at in the middle of a row, some people to her left and some to her right, but nobody next to her. At least 3 seats on either side of her were opening, and she could only hope nobody would sit there.

She stopped studying the stage, knowing it was just going to be Doctor Ouroboros and other professors, rambling on about who did what, where goes who, the dorms, the classes, the professors teaching the classes, all of that. Excited, sure, but Vivian felt like this was heavily drawn out. To say the least, she was bored.

Still, she sat there respectively, waiting, watching, listening. She thought about the picture she took in the courtyard of the students and staff. She wondered if she would become friends with any of them, or if they'd be just a nameless photo in her scrapbook. She wondered what would happen here, what kind of people they were. What kind of things they enjoyed -- she wondered if anyone like photography or nature like she did -- that got her excited. She now smirked to herself, focusing back on the stage, now filled with newfound excitement about the school.

Leo was here; at long last, this academy was the place that was going to help him tame and make better use of these powers that were suddenly sprung upon him not so long ago. The atmosphere of the Auditorium was near-tangible with a myriad of emotions being felt by all those around, anxiety, excitement and maybe even apathy among the more apathetic of his colleagues here. There were always bound to be people that felt that of course, Leo didn't doubt it for a second, but it wouldn't be too long he imagined before those people found other individuals with likewise views and would come to enjoy their company immensely. Well, hopefully that'll happen, Leo thought to himself, an earnest grin appearing on his face, it's never nice to see people miserable. Still, the young man was almost to the point of asking everybody in the auditorium what their powers, under what application did they use, in what manner did they manifest amongst a variety of other questions to show just how curious and enthused he was to the idea and reality of powers in general. It always appealed to him why was he the one gifted with such abilities. Was it to do with genes? Was their some event that preceded the emergence of these abilities or was it premeditated by some person. It was a question he had been asking himself since the moment he received his whirlwind based powers and something he's spoken about in length with his two little brothers, though they had no interest in the theory but just wanted to mess around with their elder brother's power. Not that he blamed them at all for their enthusiasm and for a fact, actively chose to endorse since the same youthful emotions ran through him as well.

Having contemplated about the past enough for one day, Leo gleefully turned his attention to the platform at the far side of the auditorium where an almost hovering mass of teachers were about to make their address to the students present here today. A flood of differing emotions surged through his body at the sight of the peering professors standing over them, their steely gaze landing on every young man and woman present here today. The first was enthusiasm of course, for Leo imagined that the knowledge he could glean from them through lectures and practical experience would help immensely in the pursuit of mastery over his abilities. The second was that of slight intimidation, since there was a solemn aura that seemed to hover around those on the raised platform as though there experiences in life played out through every blink and turn of their head. The stories that they must have to tell, Leo remarked inwardly, nodding at the hopeful truth of his statement, I can't wait to hear them all! Last but not least, was impatience. The young man was practically was hopping at this stage for the ceremony to commence, making his over to the platform at an almost gleeful pace, standing to attention as though he were saluting. Let's get this show on the road ladies and gentleman, Leo thought rather uncharacteristically enthusiastic of education, these powers won't be able to tame themselves!

Alex kept flying, overseeing the students from above. He listened patiently to Ouroboros' predictions... or he already saw what would happen? Ever since he met Ouroboros he felt a little bit of sadness for them. Chronological displacement... that probably meant that they saw every possible future available. They probably saw everyone in this room die at some point. They probably saw themselves die several times. This very feeling filled Porto with dread. Changing back to his human form, he lightly slapped his face with both hands, shaking these feelings, since he felt his face scrunch up. Yes, today was a happy day. "Alright-professor-Ourobo... Agh, this way of speaking is catchy. Okay, I'll refrain from shifting here." When he was about to enter the auditorium, he heard a shutter noise and a flash. Geralt's eyes darted towards the source of it, his breath quickening in a second. He forced himself to calm down, and Porto decided not to talk about it with him. However, he calmly approached the girl when she was sat down. "Hey kid. I'm sorry 'bout that, but can you refrain from using the flash while around here? Also, you know the rules, right? Don't go around showing these pictures on Facebook or Twitter." He turned his back for a second, then stopped and twirled back, whispering. "If you want to photograph some wildlife, I know of some places around the school." Without waiting for an answer, he took his place ear his colleagues.

Rosalie Valentine

Rosa glanced around her brown eyes bright with curiosity. She took a moment to study everyone from the teachers to the students. Some of them were normal, but some of them stuck out. She made at glance at her hands with a small pout, Do I stick out? Shaking her head she dropped her hands and looked up with an unbothered smile.

Glancing around she soon realized that the everyone was taking their seats with a last glance around the room she walked over to a row. Some seats were full, some were empty. Rosa took a moment to think, deciding to sit alone. She placed her hands on her lap, sitting back content.

Geralt
A quick scan as he moved past the rows of students showed that just about everyone had arrived. He nodded at his colleagues at the top of the stage, all waiting for the big announcement. He nodded to Alex who shifted back to his human form, and upon reaching the stage whispered under his breath, "Let's keep this nice and short everyone. No disruptions, transformations, or anything else similar to so we can call it a day." Absent minded he reached for his carton of cigarettes, but feeling the presence of his colleagues nearby, opted otherwise.
Slowly making his way on to the stage and to the podium, he coughed meaningfully into the mic. Still, the anxious students were still chatting amongst themselves, finding seating, and overall just being annoying.

"God I hate how these set ups work..." Letting a small breath go, Geralt closed his eyes for a beat. Opening his eyes, he leaned into the mic and screamed, "SHUT THE HELL UP!"
Noticing the instant silence, he grinned slightly, clearly pleased.
"Now then, we can finally get started. My name is Professor Geralt, I teach mathematics and am also the Deputy Professor here. I have been asked by the Headmistress to welcome you here. So yeah, welcome to Havenworth Academy, a home something something." Geralt sighed into the mic and scratched the back of his head. He was honestly no good at these kinds of things, he felt out of his element. Moving his stance slightly he gestured behind him to where his other professors sat.
"We are joined today by some of our other professors. Professor Porto, your English and Sparring professor. Professor Cunobelinus, your Science and also your councilor. And finally Doctor Ouroboros, your History and Practical Applications Professor." Geralt shifted back, turning his full attention back to the crowd of students.
"During your first year here, us three professors will be your only only professors, so you had best get on our good side, you hear? As you get older, other classes will be offered from some of our other staff, but you will still retain us for the remainder of your time here. Congrats to you." Glancing at a figure making her way through the aisle of students slowly, Geralt nodded.
"Now then, please welcome the Headmistress of our fine academy, Miss Victoria Reese."

Headmistress Reese
As she slowly passed through the students, she could feel their eyes on her. Reese smiled, allowing their wonder and interest to linger. She walked up the stage and nodded to Geralt and the other professors, allowing him to sit down amongst the others. He was rough around the edges, but he was a bit of a softie once you got know him. Reese reached the podium and paused, taking in the new faces. She smiled tenderly, "I am so pleased at all the new faces here today. All of you are just extraordinary. Each of you possess something that makes you unique and new. I warn you however," and at this she paused, her smile fading. "This new life is not for the faint of heart. We have rules at this academy. Rules that are meant to keep you alive. Break them, and it is not us you will be worried about. It is those outside our walls."
Letting the ominous mood pass, she smiled again. "Let us rejoice friends, for today marks your new lives. You will learn how to control and harness your new abilities. You will make friends and have experiences never before possible.
Welcome, to Havenworth Academy."

From here on, Reese began to list off the rules and expectations the faculty had, as well as where to grab maps and how today would work. Upon finishing her speech, she gestured for the faculty to stand up. Part of their job today would be to lead the new students to their new room assignments, where they could begin to unpack the belongings they had already sent.
Geralt
Geralt stood up, pulling out his trusty folder and passing out a few extra to his colleagues as the Headmistress departed. The faculty all had the same info in these folders, but by having more of them assisting all of the students at once, the job would be done a lot faster.

Azura Cunobelinus
Azura only shook her head at Alex's statement but she couldn't help the sudden change in her personality. It reflected the state of water and she really needed to have some time to calm down but now was a time that orientation was happening and she was needed so she sat down where the teachers were supposed to sit, listening to Geralt introduce them all before Headmistress Reese took center stage and list of what was needed for the students. The Headmistress then went away, after Geralt handed her some extras. Possibly to help the students be better aquatint themselves with the school. Inner waters still churning some, she sighed a bit louder than she needed to but it couldn't be helped. She needed to let out some tension and the urge the dance was becoming very difficult to ignore. Even her fingers were twirling in the air to keep herself occupied.
'Crap! Need to let Geralt know.'
"Professor Geralt, may I?"
She asked, having told everyone about her condition for calming her inner waters. She forced her hands together on her lap and forced a smile on her face, knowing it was fake but she was beginning to sweat a bit.

She continued to wait, looking around the room as she did. Suddenly, a lanky man, who severely freaked her out, approached her. Too tall, hair too long, something about his face? Who knows. She leaned back into the chair as he approached, her heart pounding as he spoke.

"Hey kid. I'm sorry 'bout that, but can you refrain from using the flash while around here? Also, you know the rules, right? Don't go around showing these pictures on Facebook or Twitter."

She nodded slowly in response, at lack of words, just her mouth left gaping. She watched him turn back, stop, then whispered to her again.

"If you want to photograph some wildlife, I know of some places around the school."

Before she could answer, he was off, with the rest of her professors. She sank back into the chair, uneasy now, as she watched the orientation take off. She walked Professor Geralt settle everyone down, talk about the students' professors, then

"...life is not for the faint of heart. We have rules at this academy. Rules that are meant to keep you alive. Break them, and it is not us you will be worried about. It is those outside our walls."

She frowned at this, feeling like she had broken one of the rules already. Flash, though? Maybe just a preference of the staff. I already know not to upload them. She sighed quietly, waiting for the orientation to be over, more so she could ask Mr.Porto about the 'places around school' he mentioned. She watched the orientation cease for a moment, as the professors handed out assignments to everyone. She waited for Mr.Porto to get to her, before she spoke.

"U-Uh..." She stammered, still freaked out by his appearance, even if he was in human form. "I'm s-s-sorry about the flash thing, but I'd like to see those places you mentioned, if you have time?"

Professor Geralt
Professor Cunobelinus spoke low near him, so Geralt picked up the message well enough. Looking ahead, the room was not necessarily crowded, but there were still quite a number of students to get through. He raised his voice slightly to address Azura without turning, "Feel free to let loose outside. We just waxed the floors in here though, so I'd greatly appreciate if you could hold it slightly." Catching his rudeness, he added on, "But if it is desperate, I suppose you could let out a little here, just try to not to get it on the walls."

Shuffling his papers to another student, he looked at the name and grinned slightly. "Well well well, Mr. Ambrose. I have a Mr. Ambrose here? Yes. Something tells me that you and I will be getting along famously. In fact, it just so happens your room is one of the closest to the teachers' rooms." He chuckled lowly under his breath. To some, it may seem that he had it out for the student or was making an example of him. In truth, Ambrose reminded Geralt a lot of some of his favorite students in the past. Too hasty, too eager to please, and most of all one of the first to lead their students when things get tough.

Alex took the pamphlets from Geralt's hands right after the orientation. He stifled a giggle when Geralt yelled at the students, and sit solemnly during the introduction and speech. When his name was mentioned, he waved a hand and smiled, hoping they would forgive him for his "introduction." As the piles of handouts were given to them, he noticed that Azura was restless. He remembered her explanation about "calming waters", and when Geralt told her to leave, he took her share of the handouts, grinning. "Yeah, go on and do your thing, I'll take care of your part." Without waiting for an answer, he set out, calling the names of the large pile on his hands.

When it dwindled, enough to hold it with one hand, he reached the photographer. Looking at the papers on his hand, he searched for the only female name in the now small pile. "Ah, miss... Evans! Here you go." When he was about to leave, she called out to him, asking about the wildlife spots on the surrounding areas. A huge grin painted his face. "Ooh, your curiosity was piqued, right? Well, you have classes with me. It just so happens that I sometimes do a few rounds on the forest, to ward off potential threats, so, if you promise to behave, I might have you tag along. Right now, though, you need to settle in your room. Let's talk later, okay?" With a smile, he gave her paper and went to the rest of his students.

She watched her professor smile, again. She felt nervous now, maybe it was just his height, or his voice, who knows. He reminded her of someone, but she couldn't tell who yet.

"Ooh, your curiosity was piqued, right? Well, you have classes with me. It just so happens that I sometimes do a few rounds on the forest, to ward off potential threats, so, if you promise to behave, I might have you tag along. He smiled after talking, yet again, and handed her the papers. A chill ran down her spine, and she gave a sheepish smile back, trying to be polite. After all, she was stuck with him for awhile, why get on his bad side now?

"---Kay." She mumbled, almost wordless, and sank back into her chair uncomfortably, flipping through the papers she had been given. Though, her mind was wandering. She was thinking about the spots he mentioned, working herself up in excitement yet again.

WALLY AMBROSE
Wally didn't know what to make of Professor Geralt. He seemed... alright, he guessed. He wasn't going to win any 'Teacher of the Year' Awards anytime soon, at least Wally doesn't think so, but there was something about him that Wally really liked. Regardless, he couldn't help my smile when Geralt handed him his pamphlet.

"Well well well, Mr. Ambrose. I have a Mr. Ambrose here? Yes. Something tells me that you and I will be getting along famously. In fact, it just so happens your room is one of the closest to the teachers' rooms." Geralt chucked.

Again, Wally smiled. He decided that he did like Geralt.

He browsed through his papers, checked out his schedule and room placement. He did all while having a big grin on his face. Wally was the type of guy who loved a challenge and Havenworth Academy was his biggest yet. The sheer excitement inside of him was enough to make him want to do a few laps around the campus.

Natasha Bechdel
→ Location: Auditorium

→ Everybody here was different. It was one of the first things she had noticed since arriving, not unsurprisingly, since everybody here seemed to exhibit supernatural abilities despite it being against the rules to use them on campus. Of course, she'd read the rules that she'd received after her interview and figured it wouldn't be much of a problem. It wasn't that she had control over her ability but the truth was, it had only surfaced a few times since she first discovered it. Usually only when she was distressed. She reckoned the others' abilities, (such as the student she had witnessed earlier dashing at super speed and being rewarded by a mouthful of dirt), must be more prominent than hers. Regardless, everyone was different. And it made her smile.

Sitting at the back of the auditorium, tapping her fingers against her knees, Natasha couldn't help but look around the room. Everything here was so new to her; the country, the abilities, the people, the school. Most people here spoke with strong accents that would take a while to get used to; whenever someone spoke, she would be reminded of how new and strange everything was. Different. She had never been a big fan of change but maybe this really would be for the better. At least, maybe she wouldn't get stuck doing people's homework for them this time- that had been a reoccurring theme at her previous school. She suspected the feeling stirring in her chest might be excitement as she listened to the headmistress speak. A melting pot of excitement, nerves, and eagerness to get started.

Once the headmistress finished speaking, everyone began moving. There were maps, room assignments, and other formalities to complete. Natasha had been assured that rooms weren't shared here. It was one thing she had been quick to ask after her interview at the school, (she knew she wouldn't have been able to come here if she had to share a room with another person). She would have her own room and her own space that she could adjust to make it familiar in this alien enviroment. She rose to her feet, not wanting to make the teachers traipse to the back of the room, and walked nearer to where everybody else seemed to be gathering, careful not to lose herself in the crowd. Her fingers knotted together unsurely.

Natasha found herself standing a little lost, by one of the front desks now, and glancing round in search of what she was supposed to do next. It wasn't clear to her. Maybe somebody would approach her?

Azura Cunobelinus
Azura quickly nodded her head at Geralt and swiftly left, allowing Alex to take over her part of introductions and whatnot. Once near a fountain outside and still near the school itself, she took a deep breath and got into position of a dance before opening her mouth to sing.
"You are the ocean’s gray waves
Destined to seek
Life beyond the shore
Just out of reach

Yet the waters ever change
Flowing like time
The path is yours to climb

In the white light
A hand reaches through
A double-edged blade cuts your heart in two
Waking dreams fade away
Embrace the brand new day

Sing with me a song
Of birthrights and love
The light scatters to the sky above
Dawn breaks through the gloom
White as a bone

Lost in thoughts, all alone

You are the ocean’s gray waves
Destined to seek
Life beyond the shore
Just out of reach

Yet the waters ever change
Flowing like time
The path is yours to climb

Embrace the dark,
You call a home.
Gaze upon an empty white throne,
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise.

Sing with me a song
of conquests and fates
The black pillar cracks
beneath its weight.
Night breaks through the day
Hard as a stone

Lost in thoughts, all alone

The path you walk on belongs to destiny
Just let it flow
All of your joy and your pain all fall like the tide
Just let it flow

Life is not just filled with happiness
Nor sorrow
Even the thorn in your heart
In time it may become
A rose

A burdened heart,
Sinks into the ground
A veil falls away without a sound
Not day nor night, wrong nor right
For truth and peace you fight

Sing with me a song
Of silence and blood
The rain falls but
Can’t wash away the mud
Within my ancient heart dwells madness and pride
Can no one hear my cry?

You are the ocean’s gray waves, destined to seek
Life beyond the shore just out of reach
Yet the waters ever change, flowing like time
The path is yours to climb

In endless dreams, countless realms collide
Hope falls only to rise like the changing tide
But all dreams come to an end,
Just whispers on the wind

Sing with me one last time, for light’s sacrifice,
Endless dawn came but not without a price,
Lost in the waves there glimmers, a pale blue stone.
I think of you, all alone..."

She sang, and danced at the same time. She weaved the water into little droplets glistening a light blue light as she danced. She felt her inner water begin calming as she danced and sang but she also knew she was going to be in a world of hurt whenever she put so much energy into calming herself down. She was grateful to Geralt for allowing her to calm herself down and not try to snap at anyone. She always seemed to have that sort of problem with herself, no matter how many times she has tried to forcibly calm herself to be in control but she couldn't. Her body became to reflect water itself in a way but at the same time still be human.

As Alex handed the penultimate handout, he noticed that the last one was stuck together, a drop of water binding the two sheets together. As he peeled the last one, he noticed that it was another girl, with a rather complicated name. As he approached the owner of the handouth, his face was scrunched up, completely puzzled. "Miss... uh... Beth? Bec? Beeechdel." He grinned apologetically at the girl, giving her the sheet of paper. "I'm sorry, I can't pronounce your name right." Noticing her confused stance, he shook his head, clearing the confusion. "Right, Miss Bechdel I hope I got that right Did you understand everything on the orientation? Do you need any help?"

Rosa sniffled, as she sat back restless. Her eyes bright with curiosity and energy. Despite, her efforts to pay full attention to the presentation her mind wandered off half way through. Though she soon realized the students being called out one by one. Sitting up, she patiently waited a small pout forming on her lips as her name didn't come up after a little while.
She watched as students around her slowly rose taking their papers, but she just sat there her hands in her lap.
She had heard some parts of the Headmistress's speech, slowly rewinding it through in her mind. Rules.. I hate rules. She thought to herself scratching her head, but she also remembered her promise. Her promise, to her Grandmum to behave. I'll be fine, how bad can it be ?

Professor Geralt
Geralt took a quick look around at the students and and faculty. They were just finishing up, despite being short one professor. Doctor O seemed to have a tough time passing out his, as a majority of the students seemed nervous to get close, but that would pass in time. Glancing towards Alex, he noticed he was conversing with a girl to the side who had not yet gotten her assignment. 'Good, with this we will wrap things up right on time.'
Checking his watch, Geralt whistled, impressed with their work. It just goes to show how far good planning could take someone. Soon enough, they'd be able to transition the students into their dorms. In the corner of his eye, he spotted a young girl looking a bit lost. There were always a few who weren't as able to adapt to this kind of life as quickly as the others. Well, it's either that or she just didn't pay attention. But that's ridiculous, he read his cue cards perfectly, even if he cut some of the important parts out. He strode over, a few students moving over in the knack of time to avoid getting knocked over. Good, they were already learning.
"Miss Valentine? I have your room assignment right here." He handed the girl the last of the folders he had and sat down next to her in an empty seat. A quick glance showed that Azura was still outside and Alex was too busy to pay much attention to stop him, Geralt pulled out his silver lighter that he kept on him. "You mind?"

Not even waiting for permission, Geralt pulled out a cigarette and took a long drag. With a heavy sigh, he exhaled a lot of the nasty smelling smoke downwards. "So, is this everything you hoped and dreamed about kiddo? Not really similar to your generations' movies huh?"

The girl's face lit up slightly when she saw a teacher headed her way, though she was surprised to see him take a seat next to her. Yet she took the folder quietly, her finger tips fiddling with the edges of the papers. She had recognized him on stage as one of the Professors, so she gave him a behaved smile.

She opened her mouth to say something, but closed it as the smoke filled the air around them. Her eyes widened at his sudden question and she could only give a little laugh. "
It's better than anything I've hoped and dreamed about. " Rosa answered truthfully. The memories of her old schools clouded her mind with misery, but she easily shrugged it off.

"Bechdel," She clarified for his sake, "Like the Bechdel test."

She thanked him as she took the paper, glancing down at it and frowning for a few moments, and missing his question. It took her a minute or two to register that he was waiting for her to respond and she looked up from the paper, blinking. She hadn't heard the question.

"I'm sorry?" She paused and then, continued thoughtfully, "I've never been to a school like this before- actually, anywhere like this before. I guess I haven't adjusted to it yet. It's all a bit new and weird for my liking," Natasha glanced back down at the paper, "There's a lot going on, that's all. Once I work out the routine around here, everything will be fine."

Again, she paused before speaking, "Natasha is fine. Most people call me Natasha." And then, she added as an afterthought, "Sir."

"Bechdel test? I'm not familiar with it. Looks like I still gotta adapt to the education standards." He waited patiently for her answer, and laughed when she finished. "Ah, I'm no sir. I don't fancy myself with those formalities, so if you'd like, you can either call me Porto or Alex. Or teach. Lots of people called me teach when I was home." He took a deep breath. "I'm glad everything's alright. If you have any questions, you can talk to me or the other teachers. I'm sure you'll fit in nicely. Once again, welcome!" With a wave, he went to deliver the last sheet.

When he finished, he spotted Geralt, a cigarette already on his mouth, talking to another student. He approached them, shaking his head at Geralt. "I thought you were going to at least wait until the orientation end for you to start again." He pointed at the cigarette on his mouth. He noticed the girl near him, remembering the scene on the gate. "Oh, hey, it's the gate girl! Don't mind Geralt, he's as soft as a mountainside." He turned back to Geralt. "Reese asked me to oversee the male dormitories' accommodation process. It'll take the rest of the day, so if you need me, I'll be there."

Professor Geralt
He was quiet while listening to the student's response, taking it in. Everyone felt like that, more or less. "There's no going back now, you know. Everything that was in your past life, for better or for worse, is done. That part of your life is over, and a new one has taken it's place. Make sure you don't waste it though."
Standing up, Geralt stretched a bit before putting out his cigarette and placing the rest of it in his inside coat pocket. His life now was nice, he wasn't dramatic enough to say so otherwise. He has a full belly, there are clothes on his back, and he and the other teachers are working towards a better world. Still, there was an almost loneliness of not being normal. Despite it being over a hundred years ago, Geralt still remembered what it was like to be young, carefree, and thinking that the world was so simple and could be changed for the better through him and his friends. A hundred years later and he still had only seen the world change slightly. Still, knowing that that life, those people he once knew, are all gone and can't come back left him feeling a little nostalgic at times. Maybe that's why he chose teaching.

He nodded at Alex approaching him, but rolling his eyes at the comments. "I tried, but I doubt I could get through today without a break here and there."
Nodding again, Geralt glanced at the students near him. "Sounds like a plan, I have a few signings I need to attend to for Reese, so I'll be in her office for a bit. I'm sure you and the others can handle it from here on out though."
Headmistress Reese (GM)
An hour or so had passed since the speech, and all of the students had received their dorm assignments. Soon enough, the rest of the faculty began to give a small tour through the school and most importantly to the dorm rooms. The dorms themselves sat on the most Western wing of the Academy, and they lay interconnected with the faculty's rooms as well. For how excluded the school was, they needed the faculty to remain on site, especially if something went wrong.
By this time, the students would have the remainder of the day to relax in the dorms to unpack or to socialize in the dining room that was connected, although there were no staff to cook or prepare food for them yet.

GM notes: Orientation has ended and students have been escorted to their rooms to unpack and socialize. Will be making a second post later today for the first day of the semester.

→ The room Natasha had been assigned was just slightly bigger than her room at home. Standing in the doorway, she could see a single bed pushed up against the left wall and a wardrobe stood directly opposite. Across from her was a reasonably sized desk, for homework she supposed, and there was a door which led to a smaller bathroom. It wasn't an unpleasant room but immediately it looked empty and unwelcoming to the eye. Her belongings that had been sent on ahead of her had been left sitting at the foot of her bed. Closing the door behind her, she crossed the room and heaved her battered, red suitcase onto the bed. She unzipped it and stared at her belongings, expertly packed together inside.

She worked methodically, putting her belongings away, and soon the room was beginning to resemble her room at home a lot more, (she had tried to bring as much of her old room with her as possible). That made her feel a lot more comfortable. Rolling her sleeves up to her elbows, Natasha stood back and admired the quick and tidy work she'd made of unpacking. All that was left was for her to hang her posters she'd brought with her up, (they were allowed to decorate their rooms however they wanted, she'd argued, when her mum had pleaded with her to leave the Star Trek posters at home), but after she unrolled the first one, she froze. She realised, collapsing with a thump onto her bed, that she hadn't brought any drawing pins with her. Humming quietly, she wondered if any other students would've thought to bring something as minuscule as drawing pins.

Natasha reasoned, she would be living on the same corridor as everybody here for the next year at least, maybe her entire time at this school. People were unavoidable. She might as well introduce herself now and get it over and done with; maybe they'd even like her. Maybe they'd even be friends. Pushing herself up from her bed, she opened the door and peering down the corridor, elected to knock on the door to the left of hers. She knocked politely and waited for the door to open before speaking.

"I'm Natasha, my room is next door. It's nice to meet you. Did you bring any drawing pins with you? I didn't. I can help you unpack in exchange for a handful."

Rosalie Valentine

[This scrolls]
Rosa wrinkled her nose as she entered her new dorm. It was different from home, everything was different. Even the air and wind that blew through her hair, showed slight differences. Stretching she gave a small shrug, remembering what the professor had said. That part of your life is over, and a new one has taken it's place . It placed a small smile on her pink lips, it didn't seem like such a bad idea though. Forgetting her past life, and starting a new one.

Putting her hair up in a ponytail and she cracked her knuckles, unpacking neatly, taking her time. She loaded her wardrobe full of her clothes and arranged her utensils at her desk, she gave a small glance at her bathroom before returning to her work. One of her ski caps sat at the bottom of a box, along with her ski goggles. Lifting it gently, she placed it on her desk patting it. Along with an old picture of her and her parents. The only picture she had ever had of them. Digging to the side of the box she dug out a fire extinguisher setting it under her desk. After a little while she was content, it felt slightly homely.

Rosa decided she would finish the rest later, letting out a sigh she flopped on her bed. Already having replaced the covers and pillows. Closing her eyes for a moment she reopened them when she heard a knock at her door. Wrinkling her nose she slid out of bed opening the door with a curious gaze.

She looked at the girl in front of her, keeping quiet during her introduction and question. Reaching back she scratched her head. " Um, well I could try and find some. I'm Rosalie, call me Rosa since we're going to be neighbors? I presume."

WALLY AMBROSE

The room Wally had been given really was close to the Faculty Area. He'd thought Professor Geralt was just joking. Knowing this, Wally made sure to look around outside his room as thoroughly as possible. Once he was satisfied that there were no teachers or staff nearby, Wally moved into his room, dragging his bags behind him. He smirked mischievously and immediately got to work setting up using his Speed. Geralt never said anything about using his powers when no one was looking. Within a couple of minutes, the room was arranged just how Wally liked it.

He surveyed his work, hands on his waist. "Good work, Ambrose," he said. He glanced at his watch, "And a new record, too." His grin faded slightly, knowing that he didn't have anything else to do for the rest of the day. Wally grabbed his room key and exited the room, making sure to lock the door.

"Now what?" he muttered. Up ahead, he spotted two girls who seemed to be in a conversation. With a shrug, Wally walked over to them.

"Yo," he said casually, "Name's Wally."
