Our world is a dangerous one. One that would deny your your identity and your powers.
Some would be betrayed and afraid of it.
Others would seek to rip it out and use it for themselves.

The World as Known​

The year is 2018, and the timeline is just as it has occurred. To have powers and have abilities is to be special. No one knows how far back it goes, however, what those who have abilities do know is that it has always been hidden and it must always remain this way for their safety.

The WWSA​

The world's leading technological brand. To the public they are known as the Western Wave of Science Affiliations. To those who possess any abilities, they are known as the World Wide Supernatural Agency. They've existed for ages, in some form or another. These days, they seek out unknowing talents and either eliminate or experiment on. It is rare, if not impossible, for someone to escape them. They are the direct enemies of anyone who has abilities.

The Laws of Super​

To possess abilities is a rare and mythical thing, something the public knows almost nothing about. What is known among those who have the gift is that the "Awakening," as it is known, will only take place in those who have reached the age between 17-18. There are occasionally cases of a few late bloomers, usually though it is because they were never aware of their powers. What every person who has gone through the Awakening has experienced however is that is painful. One second they are a regular human, the next their body and DNA shift forcibly and suddenly. No one knows if it is genetics, spirits, or something else.
Furthermore, another noticed trait of those who possess gifts is that they die fairly young. Not because of their ability, but because of the dangers associated with their new power.
The final noticeable trait of having the gift is that it is not a catch all. Every single person who has an ability has some sort of limitation to it, something that hurts them similar to overworking a muscle. A very deadly muscle.
