ABOUT ME.
after a bit of a break, i’m tentatively re-entering the search for partners! i’m a nineteen year old lesbian (she/her). i love dragons, mermaids, witches and all things fantasy. uk timezone!

i can roleplay here or on discord (discord preferred). if there’s another place you prefer just let me know!

WHAT I LIKE.
the stuff that’ll (hopefully) help you determine if we’re compatible!

AGE |
i am nineteen. for my own comfort and ease of mind, i’d prefer to only roleplay with people around my age (give or take a few years either way).

TENSE |
i roleplay solely in the third person. i also favour the present tense, it feels weird to me writing in any other way.

OUT OF CHARACTER |
i love to chat and become friends with my partners out of character. i don’t like to take myself very seriously and would appreciate someone with humour. i want to write and make fun of our silly little characters!

TRIGGERS |
if you have triggers, please let me know beforehand to avoid them. i like to explore dark topics! i have no triggers, i only ask for a courtesy warning before broaching anything particularly dark until we get to know each other better

LITERACY |
i write like a fool in recruitment posts and out of character chats but i promise i have a decent grasp on literacy. on average, my replies are around four hundred to seven hundred words. this usually evens out to four to five chunky paragraphs. it does vary wildly depending on a lot of things—pacing of the scene, inspiration, dialogue, etc.

FREQUENCY |
i admit i can be a bit bad at replying to roleplays. i aim to reply within twenty-four hours of my partner’s last post but time can get away from me (that’s why i like discord best). i am not fussed about how often my partner replies to the roleplay as long as you keep regular contact outside of the roleplay!

GENRES |
almost genres and world settings are on the table. my go-tos tend to be fantasy (medieval and modern) but i think that’s sort of a cop-out answer as it’s such a broad genre. to tell the truth, i’m down for almost anything! the only genres i have less interest are high school and slice of life.

ROMANCE |
this is likely going to be a dealbreaker for some. i am most interested in gay romance roleplays. my preference between f x f and m x m will depend largely on the plot and which fits better. i am not completely saying no to m x f , i’m sure there will be a few exceptions.

CHARACTERS |
i create my ocs to fit each plot. sometimes i already have a character concept in mind but never do i have a fully-fledged character before i have a plot (likewise, i rarely have a full plot before i have a character idea). i prefer not to write big character sheets out—instead, i like to brainstorm characters with my rp partner. i have more fun letting the characters grow and develop their history over the roleplay. i put a lot of love and effort into creating my characters and i’d hope for a similar passion from my partner. i’ve no major preference on faceclaims. i only ask to avoid anime-style faceclaims (other art faceclaims are welcomed though—and encouraged, i love seeing cool art).

PLOTS AND STUFF.
i add and remove things as i gain and lose inspiration. if there’s a plot or idea in here, i’m still interested in it!

CURRENTLY CRAVING | medieval fantasy (baldur’s gate, d&d inspired)
|
i’ve been playing the new baldur’s gate and am deeply inspired. i’m looking for a vaguely d&d-esque roleplay, focusing on inter-party dynamics and characters with various secrets and hidden pasts that come with equally dark consequences. this is still one-on-one, so someone willing to play more than one main character would be required! if you aren’t willing to play multiple main characters, i would still be interested in exploring other themes in a similar setting. some themes i expect are: enemies to reluctant allies to friends to lovers, hatred/distrust of one another born out of misunderstandings, heavily damaged characters with secret pasts that will have consequences, etc. all the good stuff! original characters only but more than happy for you to take strong inspirations from the baldur’s gate crew! (my favourite companions are astarion and laezel to give you an idea of my personal tastes) i don’t have a specific plot in mind, but you get the gist—big bad must be stopped by our unwilling ragtag crew, shenanigans occur. i do have some character ideas!

FULL PLOTS | though i do have more clear ideas for these plots, they are far from set in stone and customisation is encouraged!
| medieval fantasy. f x f or m x m. i’m partial to muse b but open to either!

| muse a is a strong, self-sufficient royal child, first heir to the throne. their father is very sick and on his deathbed—their mother passed a long time ago. muse a is betrothed but, on the week of their wedding, their betrothed is killed. muse b is a magic-user of some kind, imprisoned for their use of magic. desperate, muse a promises muse b’s freedom if they shapeshift and act as their betrothed so that muse a can still wed and and become the ruler.

| rdr2 inspired. old western, set around 1880-1900. f x f. i would like to play muse b.
|
muse b is a petty criminal part of a gang of other petty criminals. muse a is an artist who, to get by, makes a lot of very convincing fakes. muse b’s gang attempts a heist on an art gallery that muse a has been selling their fake art to. it goes poorly, the gang was set-up and law arrive quickly and muse b gets separated (and maybe injured). muse b manages to get away with her bag of (unbeknownst to her, fake) art. muse b is forced to break into someone’s house to hide from the law—only, it’s muse a’s house.

| loosely inspired by how to train your dragon (but more mature and grittier, of course). historic settings. viking or medieval vibe. m x m. could play either muse, have character ideas for both.
|
muse a has been burdened with the task of hunting down a dragon that has been spotted too close to civilisation (and, indeed, has perhaps caused harm). this could be a career they inherited or a part of their knightly duties or a bounty they’ve taken purely for the need of money. dragons, in this world, are considered evil and cunning. they will use light trickery to fool hunters, able to take on the shapes and voices of people. it is universally agreed that dragons are mindless vessels of violence. muse b is the dragon that muse a has been tasked with hunting. when muse a finally tracks down this dragon, they land a good shot and send it tumbling to the earth. when they make it to the fallen dragon’s location, it is not a dragon they find but a human. muse a, of course, is aware that dragons will use such trickery but… perhaps they find sympathy or otherwise cannot bring themselves to do it.

| alternative to the above plot. inspired loosely by the dynamic between geralt and jaskier in the witcher tv series
|
muse b catches wind of muse a’s intentions and, somehow, ends up following along with muse b to “aid” them in this hunt—perhaps with promises to split the reward or maybe as an unwanted but unshakeable presence.

LOOSE IDEAS | not quite full plots but close
| i’m fond of the concept of merpeople and would love to explore that in a modern ‘research’ sort of setting, in which the merperson interacts with a researcher/outsider etc and they come to understand neither are as unintelligent as the other thought. happy with either role and any pairing (preferably not m x f)
| old cowboy-type setting heavy rdr2 inspiration but with fantasy elements. m x m probably. there’s a bounty hunter who specialises in hunting supernatural creatures of some kind (werewolves, vampires, that sort of thing) and is hunting down the ringleader of a gang of supernatural creatures. one of the creatures (think werewolf, vampire, etc) who used to run with that gang and has since taken up a more honest career and the bounty hunter manages to track them down as a lead to this gang. credit for the vague idea goes to someone else who started a roleplay with this kind of premise with me but it didn’t work out.

FANDOMS | i am very picky about fandom roleplays. i rarely do anything other than oc x oc.
| red dead redemption — my beloved. favourite game of all time. i am pretty much always down for a roleplay. oc x oc preferred.
| good omens — <3 watched the new series and feeling a bit feral. would be down for oc x oc, cc x cc and oc x cc! i would prefer to play the cc in oc x cc. for ccs, i would like to play crowley or aziraphale!

TROPE BUCKET | bolded are my particular favourites

enemies to friends to lovers, found family, slow burn (x10000), any variation of human x non-human, angst with fluff, grumpy characters forced into caring for someone, language barriers, injuries (so many injuries, gratuitous amounts), whump (so much whump), happy endings (but so much angst before that)

THANKS FOR READING.
if you’re interested and think we’d get along, send me a message! i may miss comments.
