  The Fates have given you a second chance. They need you to fight for them. Evil leeches onto the world, evil that wishes to cheat fate itself.
  
  The Devil, Iblis, Lucifer, whatever you wanna call him has been meddling in the affairs of humans since time began. He promises immortality to anyone who falls victim to his whispers so that they may carry his will in taking over mankind. As the Devil meddles in the affairs of humans, he disturbs the fate of all who live on earth. Hell will be brought to earth with humankind living in fire and brimstone while being tortured by the Devil for eternity. With the Devil cheating his own fate and the fates of all humans, the Fates themselves fade until they cease to exist.
  
  You've been chosen by the Fates to die as a mortal. Your soul is then bound to death where instead of consuming your soul, he safe keeps and you serve him as a reaper.
  
  Reapers are the immortal agents who technically serve Death but you all serve the Fates, and your job is to hunt down the Devil's servants. Reapers are trained to fight not only humans but also demons and beasts summoned from hell by the Devil's servants. Reapers don't rely on magic, all they need is their strength and knowledge of the world to fight the cheaters of fate.
  
  It may seem bleak at first. You live on as others die around you and you question the Fates wondering when this will all end. But you don't have to go through it alone. You may have been the first reaper but you weren't the last. As reapers, you battle through conflict together knowing that none of you are alone despite the existential dilemmas you may have of living a seemingly endless existence, you have others like you to help you find out the purpose of your own immortality.
  
  Many have of you have been around for millennia and lived in anonymity with potentially different aliases to your name. But the world seems to be catching up. With the world being interconnected more than ever before, the risk of reapers being known to all of humankind is more likely than it has been before and the Devil knows this.
  
  Now it's 2022 A.D. The Devil has aligned himself with an American multinational pharmaceutical company and an 800-year-old German hell cult to expose the reapers to the world. With their anonymity in jeopardy, their very livelihoods are soon to follow.

  Howdy! Welcome to Grim's Reapers where you will be rping as a group of immortal warriors known as reapers in the 21st century! This rp will be ripe with quests, combat, the supernatural, scientific experimentation, cults, conspiracy, and a generous sprinkle of life scenes.
  
  I took a lot of inspiration from the Old Guard and Warrior Nun, if you don't have any familiarity with those then not a big deal! All you need to know is that we're gonna be a bunch of immortal baddies killing demons and corrupt humans while pissing off satan. What more could you want?

  The only supernatural being you'll be interacting with more often than not is Death himself. he's responsible for tracking souls that are overdue for expiration and telling the reapers to kill them so Death can collect their souls.   No one really talks about her or even sees her. But she influences everyone's destiny with luck. You always take chances and Lady Luck decides how good your chances are and because she's blind she doesn't choose who's luckier than others. Even the Fates question her because of how enigmatic she is, as even a little bit of her influence can greatly affect one's chances. Ever wondered why the Fates made you a reaper?
