  • Name: Angelica Klon
    Nickname: Angel
    Race: Tiger Werefolk
    Gender: Female
    Height || Weight: 5’5” || 133 lbs
    Nationality: Ciuman
    Age || Birthday: 18 || November 3rd, 981 PM
    Background: Her mother is a Duchess for the Matriarch. Due to this, Angelica gets to have her pick where the last part of her training will take place. Angelica chose the Gaze Guild, specifically in Yggdrasil. Not only is it a chance to broaden her cultural understanding (this is what she’d tell you anyway), but also a chance to get a scope of the world outside of Ciuma. She wouldn’t say this out loud, but it also seemed less brutal than the training their military goes through.

    Angelica’s shifting is very affected by her emotional state. When she gets rather upset, out comes the larger fangs, claws and attitude. Her mother agreed that training outside of Ciuma may do her some good to potentially get the temper under control.

    She's been in Yggdrasil for 6 months after getting her invitation into the Red Palace apartment buildings, and training with the Gaze Guild just as long. When she was in training, after class, she would stop by Red Palace's bar to get a nice drink before continuing with her day.

  • Name: Nettuno Bellemo
    Nickname(s): Nettie, Tune, Canary
    Race: Gnome
    Gender: Male
    Height || Weight: 4'9" || 94lbs // 145cms || 42.9km
    Nationality: Citizen of Dhor
    Age || Birthday: 22 || September 3rd
    Appearance Notes: (Extra Information not covered from FC image, if applicable)
    Background:
    Nettuno is a Chancellor's son, which for what it's worth does make his surname fairly known across Dhor. Despite this, he does not often get affiliated with the Bellumos on account of their rather public falling out as Nettuno called out his old man on the Iron's warmongering ways. This public fallout led to Nettuno's eventual leave from Dhor as it soon became more politically advantageous for his father to run out his own kid than allow the further association with Titaniums to fester. Even the small mining town he fled to eventually had better incentive to ask that Nettuno leave willingly. Nettuno preferring to live in anonymity saw the draw of just silently leaving and chose to flee rather than struggle.

    Long gone were the days when he was a well-known figure at his father's side. The quiet and calm demeanor that once made him a boon would never outway the sole moment of confidence that got him ousted from the family. Now he packed his bags and made his way out of the country to get far from the arms of his father's influence. He made way for the one neutral nation of the land in hopes that he could have an easy life in Yggdrasil. While this worked for a moment he soon found he lacked the funds necessary to continue living in peace without a radical change to his life. The Guild was that radical change. He could only do so many odd jobs for the scholars to break even. Archeological work was fun and paid well but each trip into a dead zone was undoubtedly harder for an Elvish descendant than his Human and creator peers.

  • Name: Vega
    Nickname(s): Vega the Valiant, Wolfsbane
    Race: Rasetsu
    Gender: Male
    Height || Weight: 8'11" || 600 lbs // 272 cms || 272 kg
    Nationality: Pariman
    Age || Birthday: 27 || March 20
    Appearance Notes: Vega is a hulking figure, towering over most he meets. His long, flowing hair and lupine ears are silvery-white as snow, and his eyes gleam golden. He bears two Rasetsu-markings on either side of his face, along his cheekbones
    Personality: Vega is a simple man, with simple pleasures. He delights in wrestling and contests of strength. He carries no weapon. He is not very thoughtful, caring little for the past or the future, instead preferring to live in the present. While this makes him a poor counselor, he is nevertheless a very hardy friend. Vega is slow to anger, but also slow to forgive. He also tends to be impatient, preferring to punch first and ask questions later. He is perhaps most known for his laugh, boisterous as it is both in sport and in battle.
    Background: Vega is the first Rasetsu to emerge from Parima in over one thousand years. He came upon the Gazer Guild to offer his might in service of defending the Greater World from the existential threat of monsters.

  • Nation Name: Parima
    Map Location: N/A
    Common Terrain: Glades and forests, rivers and mountains, idyllic plains and fields of reeds, all dotted with ancient architecture of the Rasetsu
    Controlling Nation: N/A
    Government: Communalism
    Culture: Isolated and peaceful, Parima is both untouched by the advancements of the rest of the world, as well as the stain of monsters and magical deadzones that plague it
    Historical Events: Some time during the Spirit Age, the island country of Parima sealed itself away from the rest of the world, becoming inaccessible through neither mundane nor magical means of travel. The Rasetsu faded into legend.

  • Name: Karv Corvax

    Nickname(s): White Claw

    Race:Werekin-Bear

    Gender: Male

    Height 6’9” (9ft Bear form) || Weight: 304

    Nationality:
    ⚔️Ciumă de Fier

    Age 27 || Birthday: April 14th

    Additional Information: His bear form has an almost white tint to its fur, matching the color of Nesshin. Due to his electrical magic style, it tends to glow occasionally.

    Background:
    Apart of the Order of the flame for a majority of his life Karv was born into the Mētztli, a nomadic tribe. During his upbringing Karv had taken strongly to the path of combat, choosing instead of focusing on a trade to hone himself and his gift at shifting into a well oiled machine hellbent on the removal of the accursed creatures that wander the land. Conquering the tournament when it was his time to prove himself he took up the following trial with pride in his heart. While many had many interesting encounters during the trial, few had such a reaction as Karv.

    Where some experienced visions, episodes and other hallucinogenic effects, Karv seemed to harden. It was here that his gift took another form, one that he would consider as the harbinger of Nesshin. Already a werekin, he was not new to the changing and melding with his ‘animalistic’ side but the trial brought out another side of him he never knew was present. The following three days were a cascade of hellish blurs and glimpses of slaughter. After coming back to himself he managed to stumble back home, covered in dried blood.

    Upon his return, he was quickly met by the tribal elders, and while he was disheartened to hear their words, they still filled him with a sense of purpose. "The road ahead of you is one filled with anguish. May the spirit of Nesshin guide you on this tempestuous road you have begun. Remember, no power is inherently good or bad. It is how you choose to wield that power that will define how it is perceived. Nesshin may not have accepted you into the rank of Warrior... but perhaps she has placed you on a journey that only you may succeed in"

    Leaving his tribe behind, Karv meandered his way around, finding himself among the company of many motley groups. However, over time he began to carve himself out a place among the many mercenaries in Ciumă de Fier, calling the walls of iron home, a real change from the nomadic lifestyle he had been used to years before. Despite these changes it was here where he began to come into his own, truly bringing to bear the weapons he believed were needed to cull the scourge that plagues Ciumă de Fier more than many of the other nations.

    There was no shortage or prey and no shortage of divine purpose among the tattered and cursed lands of Fier. Journeying out as often as he could he made beyond the walls his home more than the iron walls had become. Bringing with him the means to immolate the various pests that had sullied their beautiful lands. However, as time progressed, the maintenance and upkeep of his tools began to wear on him. While there was no shortage of tradesmen willing to forge him weapons, it was the lack of reliable armsmen that made him begin to drift into the arms of the Gaze guild.

Minerva Morningdew

  • Name: Minerva Morningdew
    Nickname(s): Erva
    Race: Fae
    Gender: Female
    Height: 5'7 || Weight: 119
    Nationality:
    Age: 21
    Birthday: 16/8
    Appearance Notes: Minerva has two antennae on her head and they aid her in feeling out magic as well as help her to better feel the 'space' around her.
    Background: Born in Yggdrasil to Fae parents Minerva is no one of particular interest. Her Mother runs a successful flower shop in the central market and her father is a Guard of no considerable rank. Raised joyfully and with love, Minerva is a happy-go-lucky individual who prides herself on being free. Minerva does what she wants when she wants and is not afraid to say what she wants to either. This makes her very easy to get along with but very hard to predict. A compassionate soul Minerva always tries her best to help those in need and those less fortunate and is prone to being scammed as a result.

    In the academy, Minerva excelled at gravitational and spacial magic with a unique talent for sowing chaos on the battlefield. Though her grades were overall average and her attitude toward direct orders problematic Minerva is a skilled mage who has the potential to turn a very sticky situation for one side into pandemonium for all. It has also been noted that Minerva can have quite a sadistic streak when it comes to toying with foes and opponents.

Her father being a hired swordsman and her mother being an experienced shrine maiden provided a comfy life for their small family.

    Ilaria is a young woman standing at solid 5ft. She has a very curvaceous form, being considered an adorably chubby young woman. She has very long hair that almost reaches to her ankles, with some hair framed in various ways around her face. Her hair is a smoky indigo, looking a variety of different shades of blue or purple depending on the lighting. Her eyes are of a matching hue, also sharing the same effect. She has long feathered ears that a deep indigo that they appear almost black. Along with the ears, she also dons a pair of horns that are curled forward like a crown. On her back, she has a large pair of feathered wings of the same deep indigo just a little longer than the length of her body. She also has a long feathered, dragon tail, almost as long as her wings.
    Personality
    Ilaria is a very bubbly young woman, who is on occasion kind of insecure. She's rather naïve, having an optimistic view and trying to see the good in people. She can be rather dense at times, not quite understanding boundaries or even noticing miniscule things that bother others until the consequences, quite literally at times, hit her in the face. She is very gentle and soft, and doesn't even seem to have a malicious bone in her body. She's emotionally sensitive and it is extremely easy to hurt her feelings, though she'll usually try to hide any of her hurt with a smile. She's immensely loyal, and will stand up for what she believes in. She can be considered a crybaby, as even in moments where one would usually respond with anger, will usually end with her in tears. She's incredibly self-conscious, and frets very often. She minorly considers herself a burden to anyone who shows her significant care, especially with her feeding off their magic.

  • Name: Profaner
    Nicknames: Calian Hinter
    Race: Kobold || Twisted Creator
    Gender: Female
    Height || Weight: 5'5" (165 cm) || 158lbs (72 kg)
    Nationality: Order of the Flame
    Age || Birthday: 21 || December 7th
    Background: Heretic. Outcast. A sacrilege that lives and breathes. Profaner was born into loathing.

    She hails from the Tribe of Rhaga, which wanders the harsh plains of the Order of Flame in a neverending pilgrimage. Theirs is a culture structured around cycles. The cycle of life and death, ruination and creation, nurturing and consumption, and as one of the Twisted, she was defined as a violation of those cycles by nature. A slavering beast of pure consumption.

    She was born, and then for a time, she walked alongside her people as an equal, the circumstances of her birth unknown to even herself. But as the seasons passed, more eyebrows raised and fingers were pointed, until she was undeniably exposed. She was not of the Rhaga, but of the beasts, of those who take, greedily, and live in violation of Nature and his grand mechanisms. There was a period time when she was tolerated, feared more than hated, but once her nature was exposed, she didn't only become an Other, or even a thing, but a scapegoat too.

    A harsh winter or a poor job wasn't just the fault of the clan anymore. Whether it was the punishment of their God for harbouring such a vile thing, or she'd supposedly drained one of the mages dry before a battle, she found more and more things were becoming her fault. She wasn't a fool. She could gather that no matter what she tried, the most she'd eek out for herself would be as a trial from their God. Something to be overcome, not a companion to wander the volcanic crags alongside.

    So, she left.

    Before her people had the chance, or before something worse occurred, Profaner cast herself out under the cover of night departing their camp at the time under the cover of a clear, starry night. She struggled her way out of the Order of Flame, and into greener pastures. For a long time, she wandered alone. Her people were hardy ones, their superstition matched only by their grit, and as the tribe outcast, Profaner was one of their scrappiest, she'd had to be, and she put that to good work. She operated as a mercenary, and small-time monster hunter, trading brute force for coin, coin for elixirs, and elixirs for another day under the stars.

    It was only when she heard tell of the Gaze Guild that she began to dream of a higher purpose. An order, a people unto which she could submit herself, and make something more of her life than some starving creature clinging to humanity. She ventured to Yggdrasil, and enrolled into the local guild within the week. To become a better self.

    Race: Gnome
    Gender: F
    Height || Weight: 4f3 / 125
    Nationality: Dhor
    Age | Birthday: 21 May 13th
    Appearance Notes: She doesn't actually need glasses they were made just for show but when out on missions she will make lenses out of crystals for use in battle she also wears rings that serve the same purpose

    Background: Emmi was born to a family of Jewelers from Dhor who specialize in the use of Earth magic to create jewelry to store Magic crystals for easy use and carry during travel. She would be trained in the use of this craft since birth in order to continue the family legacy of using it to make lots of money. However, in recent years, she has become incredibly distant towards her family after they joined the Irons wishing to increase their weath and greed by buying up the lands of any conquered areas for more materials to use and keeping them to themselves to sell at a premium, Emmi would be largely against this and would join the Titaniums in hopes of putting a stop to it. She would later move to Yggdrasil and set up shop there as well as join the Gaze Guild to gain combat experience in the event that she's forced to join a civil war if that is what it takes to stop the Irons.

  • Name: Roland Armstrong
    Nickname(s): Roy
    Race: Human
    Gender: Male
    Height || Weight: 5'5" || 125lbs // 165cms || 56.7km
    Nationality: Citizen of Dhor
    Age || Birthday: 24 || January 18th
    Appearance Notes: (Extra Information not covered from FC image, if applicable)
    Background:
    Roland was born to and raised by the Armstrong smithing family of Dhor, renowned craftsmen passing down techniques for countless generations. Like his ancestors, Roland found purpose in taking raw materials and imposing his imagination and craft upon them. So much so that his developmental years were spent more on learning ores, minerals, and magic than how to interact with his peers. Being from such a long-standing clan of smiths and craftsmen, Roland didn't long for much, as such, the trials and hardships he faced were much of his own creation.

    Politics were never Roland's forte, but carrying the family name of Armstong that adorns many of the high-quality armaments of Dhor came with a specific weight, even drawing the ire of some of those within the Iron faction, given that the Armstong Clan openly supports the Titaniums despite their ancestral home being given away untold years ago with the formation of the country of Yggdrasil. For Roland, the past is the past, you can't reclaim it, just forge a better future. And his method is through crafting and business, fair prices, and hard work.

    Roland knew if he stayed home, he'd have it easy, everything within reach. But he also knew that conflict, struggle, and discomfort would lend better to his growth as a smith. And so he left his home four years ago he leaving his family home for Askrvior. It took Roland a few months to earn his footing in Askrvior, but after which, he had earned enough working at other forges to open his own workshop. Being in a settlement that always needed armaments allowed Roland's workshop to grow in size and clientele. With the influx of business, Roland expanded his workshop to include a living space for himself and others.

    At the beginning of the year, Roland applied to the Gaze Guild. In part, he did this to help support the community. But Roland also joined on the off chance he could use it as a means of acquiring rare ore and materials, always thinking of business and crafting at heart.

    Height: 5ft 3
    Weight: 121 lb
    Nationality: Order of the Flame
    Age: 21
    Birthday: [13th November]

    images

    ~Background~
    Nyx like the many denizens residing within the regions controlled by the 'Order of the Flame' is one of many nomadic tribesmen born into a tribe that resides within tempestuous lands that make up the entirety of the region. Born into the 'Mētztli' tribe, Nyx like his fellow tribesmen and women has grown up within a society that puts a lot of faith into a religion long since passed down from the days of its founding by the very first chieftain.

    As was to be expected, Nyx was raised by both parents and indoctrinated into the beliefs of the tribe as one of many potential candidates to enter the grand festival held yearly. With both parents failing to claim victory during their opportunities, it had become an almost obsessive routine to drill Nyx into becoming a potential champion of the tribe; a Warrior of Nesshin. With the exception of the Village Chieftain, no other 'role' was more coveted than that of a Warrior of Nesshin and by being bestowed such a position it would bring honor to the chosen one and their family.

    For years, Nyx would hone his body, his mind and his ability as he underwent rigorous training from his parents; ranging from arduous drills that forced repetition as well as sparring sessions between father and son and on occasion other warriors whom had failed to become champions themselves. As time went by, Nyx too would discover a fire within himself, a glow that seemed to pulsate everytime he watched a new Champion be crowned; this pulse growing more potent the closer it got to the year where he would finally be allowed to enter. Champions of the past each had their own defined style of combat and it was by watching them excel at sharpening their own sets of skills that had convinced Nyx to do the same.

    Whilst still practicing the drills encouraged by his father, Nyx would begin to venture on his own; a journey of discovery that would set him upon the path of discovering his own niche way of combat; one that resonated with how he percieved himself and differentiated him from the rest. All the champion of the past, regardless of their race had that in common. A warriors heart and style of combat that was in an essence, a story of who they were. It was their own. Perhaps it was this reason alone as to why the champions all seemed to radiate a faint glow as they were deemed a Warrior of Nesshin.

    Entering the festival, Nyx would quickly establish himself as one of those that held great potential in becoming the next chosen Warrior, his style of combat putting a large emphasis on both his magical attunements to enhance and empower his flamboyant swordplay. Needless to say, after an arduous tournament Nyx would find himself the victor; the newest champion of the Mētztli tribe and a Warrior of Nesshin; one tasked with taking up the mantle of Monster slayer and protector of the world; until the fated day where Nesshin would glow once more.

    Despite this grand task that Nyx has accepted, the boy himself is not your typical 'hero type'; like some of the past champions were. Many of those that Nyx had seen had been the type to revel in their success, to boast promises of future victory as they were bestowed their new title. Some would use their new found position to their own advantage; to curry favor with certain people in the tribe; nothing radical and if anything... immature. Nyx couldn't count how many times a new champion would suddenly find a new woman to lay with.

    Nyx however was a rare sight for those that had become used to seeing the champion's celebration. Quiet and maintaining an air of dignity, he had simply accepted the coronation, survived the festivities for as long as he could endure before slipping away to his home. It was only upon being alone that the introverted warrior could finally feel at ease and let his guard down; allowing himself to smile as his hard work bore fruit. Truth be told, having been forced to spend the vast majority of his free time undergoing the training by his father, Nyx has seldom had the luxury of being able to relax and enjoy himself in public, nor did he have much time to forge friendship with others his own age. Nyx is in essence a loner that struggles to act any other way but aloof when out in public; but will find himself exhausted from the charade once he is able to let himself loose in private.

    A new warrior of Nesshin, Nyx would make his way towards Yggdrassil and towards the guild he had often heard merchants speak of. One devoted to the cause of slaying monsters; there would be no better place than here to fulfill his responsibilities.

    Nickname(s): Lish, Dr. Cruel,
    Race: Geniekind, Dragon
    Gender: Male
    Height || Weight: 6"2 ||192lbs
    Nationality: Yggdrasil
    Age || Birthday: 22 || April 28
    Appearance Notes: Andalish
    Background: Andalish grew up with a decent experience as his father was an entrepreneur and his mother was an officer within the Gaze guild. His mother, Cellot, was an officer within the guild and prominent in the community because she was empathic and caring for all, but her craving for adventure sent her out on many dangerous missions. When she was home she would help run the Sweet Arbor and tell Andalish, and inn guests, tales of her adventures. Cellot's name and word brought many a guest to her husband's inn. Over time Andlish's father, Grindis was able to build, expand, and even relocate the inn with Cellot's help. Although to both of them, their greatest achievement was Andalish. He was blessed with a great intellect, that put him on the path of medicine, but his father truly wanted him to take over the inn as the next owner. Cellot on the other hand indulged her son the most,. She would bring back different plants that Andilish would slowly take the time to study.

    For a long time, he just considered being a doctor to be a hobby, although he had already amassed a large amount of knowledge, but it wasn't until the disappearance of his mother that he changed the trajectory of his path. Andalish's world was flipped upside down as he had just lost his mother and there was no way for him and Grandis to find peace, as his mother was missing. At 17 Andalish, decided he would join Gaze so he would be able to help find his mother. Grindis was against it as he had also lost his wife and he thought this would lead to him losing his son. The father was now deadset on his son taking over the inn but he fell ill within a few short years. Andalish became a mess when this happened as he was still not over the loss his mother, but his best friend, Jarrah, and her mother, Lapis, stepped in to help. With their support, Andalish recovered quickly and was able to put a plan in motion for his goals. The young man was dead set on curing his father of this unknown illness, that others seemed to be unable to cure, but to do that Andalish would access to plants and magic from across the globe, and the knowledge of medicine to execute his plans.

    Appearance Notes: Razul's attire is sparkly on its own and does an unnecessarily great job of reflecting sunlight. For some people, it hurts to even look at him under certain environments. He also keeps his chest very tightly wrapped.

    Background (The Ballad of Razul Dazzle):
    Onto the tale of a hero named Razul Dazzle,
    And of low birth, between baker and soldier.
    Their way of life was strict; a worn castle.
    They put his dreams to smolder.

    "Your brother shall handle it all."
    His mother sewed their cage.
    "Learn from your mother's role!"
    His father said, outraged.

    The truths blackened the pearl.
    "But why?" Razul asked, crushed.
    Ultimatum: she was a girl.
    Their cause: he was a boy.

    Broken at home, broken in self,
    Disgusted to be born a girl
    Oh, to be perfect; born redressed...
    He knew what next to churl to scorn.

    In need of love; in need of sanction
    Cut hair, low pitch; concealed.
    Razul ventured beyond option.
    He chose to live ideal.

    Then, he could finally amount to something useful...

    Nickname(s): Ewe, Lule
    Race: Golden Fleecey || Were
    Gender: Female
    Height || Weight: 5'11 || 210lbs
    Nationality: Tuuli
    Age | Birthday: 17 || March 12th
    Appearance Notes:
    Lule is pretty much scar free for the most part but she does have a very specific one that runs down her left leg as a jagged slash.

    Background:
    Lule is a princess of the Daphnis Isle. The second one to be specific, fourth child. Her elder siblings are all talented in a more political way and she is just not. She oozes her heart on her shoulder and that is not taken well. So she’s the black sheep, not great politically, sneaks out to hang with the local kids, and pretty much only good at big fighty. Sometime in young childhood she makes a lot of shitty “friends” who just want the status of being a princess “in crowd” and when the novelty of that wears off and it’s realized she’s just like that and that she can’t help them the way they want she gets ostracized. Not knowing why her friends are being dicks suddenly Lule tried to make it up to them thinking she did something wrong. She learns they tried to use her and she gets big sad. She decides okay I’ll try for leaving to the ground and offer to be in the military’s required percent for the draft. That gets her yelled at by the family as they see her as stupid on top of everything else. She stows away on the ship down, sees the supreme monarch and the army and GETS TERRIFIED as she gets a reality check to what she was volunteering for and runs from Tuuli

  • Name: Amaris Evenwood
    Nickname(s): Maris
    Race: Geniekind (Merfolk)
    Gender: Male
    Height || Weight: 5'9 || 125 lbs
    Nationality: Elvebredden
    Age || Birthday: 23 || May 18th
    Appearance Notes: Fairytales may have told of mermaids giving up their voice to become human, but that isn't the case for Amaris. Sadly, on land, the most efficient way to get around is walking around on those... what do you call 'em? Oh, feet. Thankfully, as a magic creator, he is able to expell wind magic to keep him afloat in the air and able to move about as if he's swimming in water. Guess flippin' your fins you do get far.

    Amaris also has a set of gils on his sides. Each gil is between two ribs and there are three on each side. These carry oxygen directly to his lungs when he is underwater.

    Having grown up in one of the underwater towns of Elvebredden, the clothing he has grown accustomed to leaves much of his body exposed. Because of how chilly the depths got, the cold never bothered him anyway. The clothing he does wear tend to lean on the feminine side, as it's difficult to wear pants with a fishtail.

    Background: Amaris was born in an underwater town to a nice merfolk couple. He was an only child until the age of five, when his parents revealed he will soon become an older brother. The family thought everything was going swimmingly until the baby was born. He came out not a merfolk like the three of them, but a vampire. Despite Amaris's brother's pale skin, fangs, and thirst for blood as well as magic, his parents agreed he was their child and they would love him and raise him the same as Amaris.

    Since Amiti's birth, Amaris adored his little brother. As they grew older together, that never changed. He would always be there for him, whether it was to help him face adversity or just be a shoulder to cry on. He kept an ear open for any news related to Twisted and learned that scientists were hoping to research a solution for their magic absorption in Yggdrasil. His dream then became to one day travel there and help the efforts to make life easier for those like Amiti.

    Once Amaris was of age, he left his home nation to study under those scientists. After a few years, he had managed to become learned enough to become a research assistant. The scientist he was working for felt a different perspective would be valuable to reaching their goal. There was only so much to learn in a controlled setting like a lab. He suggested field work, which led Amaris to join the Gazers. After all, the monsters they fight and Twisted seem to have common roots. With hard work and training, Amaris became part of the latest graduating class: Class 34.

    Name: Maldarius Lifonze Merrium

    Species | Race: Twisted Shaper | Ghost

    Nicknames
    - Vice Maldar

    - Maldar the Greedy

    Age: 22

    D.O.B: May 2

    Gender: M

    Nationality: Nefarrent

    Sexuality: Open To Interpretation

    Current Eye Color: Bronze

    Current H | W: 6'1' | | 1XX LBS

    Appearance: Minor scales located on arms and legs as an inherited trait of his mother, as a Twisted of Ghostly race his appearance remains that of a human but his general appearance is that of an exceptionally pale human with striking eyes. His hair tends to flow freely as if billowed or played with by the wind and his body tends to present an oddly chilling touch.

    Background: Saving a politician's life brought forth great blessings. One of those was getting it in good with a political figure and celebrity, who became a family friend all because your dad saved his life by accident.

    Maldar grew up travelling with his mother for one major reason. To aid his father in the expansion of Dynamic Crafts. Vassals had duties and as honorary nobility, they had duties that they had to perform as well. While his father was doing his, the rest of the family were required to do theirs. And so like most Vassal children, he was homeschooled by the best money could buy and dragged around the country with his mother. Just like his siblings and their mothers were.

    Family gatherings were a complex thing. Maldar was, ironically, the only Twisted of his half-siblings and step siblings, like his father- and as a result, had much more attention given to him due to the conditions of Twisted biology. Compared to his other siblings, he was also the only child of his mother, Lidelh. Inakius' other two wives either had a child before their arranged marriage with his father, or sired some through their time with him as she had. Competition between them was thus, a guarantee. Being the child of a Vassal also brought intense scrutiny on one's actions just as much as a Vassal was scrutinized for every scandal they got mixed into. And when dad's attention was something to be fought for, sibling rivalry and groupings, were a guarantee.

    Then again what did you expect from a man with three wives and one lover, with multiple children?

    Maldar saw his father sparingly and was ultimately raised by his mother Lidelh, a Geneikind Salamander, who was the daughter of a wealthy research company and one of its head authorities that studied magic crystals- their capabilities and sold the research to companies like Dynamic Crafts. The times he saw his father often occurred for about as long as a week to rarely, a month, and then he was gone again- while the times he got to see his siblings were much more frequent and consistent, and often times, less pleasant. Despite these hiccups in the family, Maldar did not grow up to share some of the more prideful views or entitled opinions that many of his siblings came to aspire. Like his mother, he came to hold a view that favored towards a sense of humility. And had life continued as it had, he may have fully dedicated himself to the role of business like his father. Yet, life had its ups and downs.

    Assassination attempts had become increasingly common over the years. Yet with tensions between the Flame and Tuuli rising exceptionally, the risk to the lives of those of value had only grown. All it took was one event, and everything changed.

    Attending a party that was being hosted for one of the spiritual festivals, despite the tightness in security, assassins still made it in. The alarm was raised when one of his siblings had been attacked- but chaos granted the opportunity for his father to be gravely injured while protecting Ramelius, the candidate to succeed the Rithuk Lord's title. And while his father was praised and the best medicine was used, a mortal wound could not be stopped in time to save his life.

    Maldar didn't get to make it in time when his father died at the hospital, he did however receive a command that his father left behind.

    Go to Yggdrasil, build a network there, join the Guild.

    He followed it dutifully. Sent to Yggdrasil where he would go in secret with Ramelius aide, at 18 in hopes of doing something that would make his father's death worthwhile, Maldar began his life in Yggdrasil- joining the Guild, to make something of himself.

  • Nation Name:Nefarrek

    Map Location: East Side of Yggdrasil, Surrounded by Other Countries

    Common Terrain: Forests and Marshes, River channels that lead into Elvbredden, Rocky terrains in the north. Multitude of unique animals that exist in its forests. Has massive walls that keep some of its monsters out and defensive posts around its territory. Old ruins that are remnants of sacrificial sites in some of its forests.

    Controlling Nation: Dhor

    Government: Meritocracy (Divitae Union) | 5 Stations

    Culture: Pride, Caution, Strength, Creed, and Generosity. Each of the 5 Stations embody one of these virtues and as a result, depending on the settlement- each city tends to represent a certain aspect of one of the virtues more than the others. Those who favor the Virtue of Pride, tend to put a focus on imagery. Those who favor Strength, are known to be slightly more rough yet equally welcoming to any that can prove their mettle. The subtle differences depending on the city tend to be noticeable in some form, but what is common is that gender norms in the nation of Nefarrek are rather unique.

    As a people this meritocracy has created a elitist society where the lesser look up to their better and the betters promote the system that allows only the sturdy to move forward. For the nature of this nation and the understanding of its history, cultivates a resilient will to strive beyond. Something that is considered highly favorable in a nation that has a rather unfair system.

    Due to their spiritual views that spirits exist everywhere and that monsters themselves are some form of unique spirit, the people of Nefarrek believe the world to be complex and the key to success is harnessing the power of magic. They are very territorial and as a result have worked hard to build an alliance around the countries that surround them to get by. The people from this nation are often considered opportunistic.

    Historical Events:
    - Nefarrek was part of the Beikai Empire in the Primal Age. It was a small state for the empire but a vital trading place.

    - In the Spirit Age, the Beikai Empire developed a religion based on the monsters that plagued their forests and territories. This religion developed sacrificial rituals to appease some of the most powerful monster 'spirits' they feared. Due to this religion, the Beikai empire also began losing its power over its territories, which broke off to form their own countries over time.

    - During the Cosmic Age, Beikai was crippled by the floods and internal conflict that severely weakened its power. A band of sea-fairing pirates ended up wiping out the little power left and took over the country, turning it into Nefarrek.

    - In order to overcome the struggle they were facing with the monsters, Nefarrek came under the control of Dhor.

    - Many of the spirits created in their culture are based on the invaders, with some based on monsters that act as the servants in some story depictions.

    - Certain smaller settlements that have greater security than others due to the fact that the monster issues in those places are higher.

    - Despite the religion of Beikai no longer being practiced and a dead religion, it is still a religion that is well known across the world and the primary reason why people from Nefarrek are viewed as being 'monster fetishists'.

  • Name: Soleil
    Nickname: Sol
    Race: Phoenix (Geniekind)
    Gender: Female
    Height || Weight: 5’2” || 110 lbs
    Nationality: Tuuli
    Age || Birthday: 19 || August 1
    Appearance Notes: When her wings are badly damaged they will burst into flames, grounding her until they regrow (in a few days?)
    Background: Soleil is a soul of duality. Born from an avian mother and fire elemental, she focuses on finding balance between the two. Once a month, her wings would flare and burn off, leaving her grounded for a few days. She considers herself a child of both.

    Her mother, a diplomat from one of the floating cities, was often sent to Karlek’s Scorn by the High Monarch. She met Soleil’s father on such a trip, and though they nested together, they did not for more than one season. Instead they remained friendly, seeing each other periodically on her mother’s trips. This continued throughout Sol’s childhood, where she would meet her father and learn to fly on the updrafts of the volcano. She went to Yggdrasil to learn, finding the mixture of cultures fascinating. It was also why she joined the guild; the dichotomy of fighting for peace was an honorable pursuit.

    Due to her age, when Princess Luljeta Prifti ran off, to potentially join the army. Soleil was sent to cajole her back. Instead, after she caught up with the princess and the troupe she'd joined, the phoenix wrote to her mother, convincing her to allow the princess a sabbatical to learn in Yggdrasil. With herself as a companion.

  • Name: Yuria Honjozo
    Nickname(s): "Whatever you'd like."
    Race: Human
    Gender: Male
    Height || Weight: 6'4" || 200 lbs
    Nationality: Yggdrasil
    Age | Birthday: 19 || June 7th
    Appearance Notes: :bishiesparklesl:
    Background: 55 generations. For 55 generations the Honjozo name has been the premier and favorite bottle of just about anyone who was anyone. For 55 generations the Henjozo family have been in the wine-making industry, and it will be 55 more before one will even think about a different brand. The Red Palace, an exclusive bar and that even offered residency to it's guests, has stood the test of time to become a site where wine flows as easily as blood spilled beyond the walls. And it is here, that Yuria was born as the only child. As a young child, he acompanied family and workers to the disilleries and cellars, learned the curated processes that made their famously saught after drinks. When they got old enough to start actually helping, only the heavens above knew how many batches he ruined. Nights spent stirring and mixing, days spent learning and studying; It might have seemed boring, but Yuria loved it, even if he ruined countless shirts with red liquor, even fell in once or twice. Eventually, he started to really shine in the fields he worked on, no longer ruining batches but instead thriving in each station. No more messing up; Yuria was the person people went to when they needed advice or aid. He wasn't quite supposed to take up the mantle yet, their family had many to handle the buisness and there was no rush to do anything beyond books and study.

    But he loved to be right there with everyone else. He loved talking and learning from the workers and staff, hauling the barrels to the cellars, taking notes and listening to the vintners work with his father. He couldn't ignore the importance of his name; he was going to inherit all of this, and that couldn't be forgotten. But Instead of a administratonal role like what was expected, Yuria also took up role as common staff. As he grew older, he went from station to station, seeing what it was like and how to improve across the board. Making friends with all he worked with, eventually Yuria settled in a bartending role greeting their clientele with a smile and and elegantly crafted drink. Outside of occaisional undersireables in the establishment, things were peaceful. Peaceful was good.

    The Gazers was not a group Yuria ever thought he'd care too much about at first. Sure, like everyone he was grateful to them and was aware of their work; he even knew a few who would stop by or order their bottles. Yuria could always fight well and he wasn't a slouch on training to keep sharp, But he wasn't a Gazer; he helped run a buisness that made wine. As such, his efforts were on pouring drinks and not on monster hunting. It was the words of one such hunter however, and the prospect of crafting a bottled recipe of his own that spurred him to volenteer. "You could see more, gather your own inspiration. Wasn't your great-grandmother a Gazer?" He disliked when people tried to sway him towards seemingly bad ideas, but with a little whittling down he gave in and considered it seriously. It wasn't like it was a lifelong commitment, and he could still do what he did now; he'd just have to occaisionally risk his life. Admittedly scary, but he'd be lying if it didn't sound exciting. After a while longer yet, he decided to give it a shot. He never was one for turning down experience anyway.

    Who would have known that he'd end up loving it almost as much as he did winemaking.

  • Name: Reza Shehzad
    Nickname(s): Sultan of the Sweet Science
    Race: Wolf Werefolk
    Gender: Male
    Height || Weight: 190 cm / 88 kg
    Nationality: Order of the Flame
    Age || Birthday: 27 || September 21
    Appearance Notes: (Probable) Voice Claim: Raz (Greg Chun) from Valkyria Chronicles 4

    Background: Reza Shehzad was looked down upon by his peers in the Jahangir tribe for his natural attunement to the Vitality element. This did not last very long, as the moment he knew how to throw a punch, he showed them exactly why he was of the Shehzad name. Defeating his brother in a one-on-one fist fight, he showed promise as the next patriarch of the his tribe. Much to his parents’ dismay, however, he was not willing to take the name. They may call him a coward, they may say he shirked his duty- Reza was simply uninterested in partaking in the brutal ways of his tribe. He wanted to put his other skills to use. He wanted to aid the injured and the sick.

    He was still a child of Jahangir, however, and it was not easy to be amongst a tribe that favoured strength and power. Those who were ill, and those who were wounded were seen as weak, and his tribe had a staunch belief that weakness bred stagnancy. To bring those who had fallen back to their feet was seen as a terrible act, and would only cause their tribe to fall behind. To foster and coddle the weak was, in their eyes, a sacrilege to their very beliefs. When even the dying and the ailing began to turn away his help, and when he had enough of decimating all those who kept trying to claim his place as the strongest of his generation, he packed his things and departed from his people. He did not look back. They will realise their folly, or they will be destined to fall, that much he knew.

    During his short time on the road by himself, Reza began to pick up other skills of the medicinal kind, whilst perfecting the art of delivering his fists and his feet straight into the faces of those who would accost him, his traveling companions, or his would-be patients. Reza would later join the Gaze Guild as a healer, rather than a full-time combatant. In a place and of people who were constantly roughed up by their expeditions and their adventures, his work would be never-ending.
