Aliema enters first, then Susan. "By now, the Serapis should have discovered our escape. So stay alert..." The crew then begin to reach a fairly large shuttle when suddenly, they hear shouting. "HEY!" The crew turns around to see two Serapis pirates, plasma pistols ready. "Those are the guys who escaped their cells!" One Serapis pirate said. "And sabotaged our vents, too!" The other said, sounding more offended rather than angry. The Pirates prepare to open fire. However, Susan already fired back at the two pirates, knocking them out. However, more Serapis pirates are already moving in, firing at the crew. "Take cover!" Susan ordered as she took cover herself.

Talia groaned, before rolling behind the wall. She lifted up her heel, and pulled a odd looking metal tube from her ankle. When she pressed a button, a glowing whip fell to the floor, the handle still in her hand. With her other hand, she grabbed a flat disk that had been on her side, and lifted it up. The disk became a small shield, barely big enough for her to hide behind if she was crouching. She looked to the others, and then the captian.

“Well, I guess today just isn’t our day! And of course, the only weapon on this suit is my stupid whip....” She muttered the last sentance under her breath. She still had her poisons and her bombs, but these couldn’t be qualified as weapons. Half of them were illegal, anyway.

Bowe yelped and took cover in a cramped, small zone, over in a corner. Hamele took cover as well, although had troubles to do so - eventually hiding between a ton of tall boxes - but regardless, she managed it somehow. They're both safe.

Lux said nothing as he took cover, drawing a knife and his pistol. He "Hardens" part of his cloak and moves to a piece of cover by the wall that has more room. The cloak takes some of the bullets, leaving only burn marks, but no other visible damage. He takes several pieces of junk in his cloak and moves his hands faster than ever. Over the course of a minute, the makings of a wire bomb start to come together.

Talia looked over to Lux, and tried to talk to him over the blasting.

“What are you gonna do with-“ She gets cut off by a blast that comes way to close for comfort, she jumps back a bit, and
Placed her sheild on her other side. “With that!?” she finished, pointing to the makeshift bomb.

Lux looks at her, then stands up. He "Hardens" his cloak yet again, and dips around the safety of his cover. He throws his wire bomb, and about 30 feet of coils and wires spread out, whipping and tying all of the Serapis pirates in its range. He ducks back into cover and starts working on something else. After another second, a small battery is made, and he throws it around the corner without looking. It hits a wire, and it electrocutes all the wire bomb touches. Half of the pirates go down, some are trapped, and the rest are stuck behind them, freezing their advance.

Talia stared, dumfounded at Lux. He made a bomb that quickly with little to no recorces? That’s was amazing. She smiled widly at him, and laughed. Full out laughed. She then looked to the others, and rolled to the other side, throwing a plain smoke bomb as she did.

“Now might be a good time to just go! We might not be able to take them all down!” She yelled over to them. Her hair was tucked safely behind her, and her sheild was cracked from deflecting so many near hits.

Lux doesn't say anything and fires blindly around the corner with his pistol. He "Hardens" his cloak one more time, and makes an extended piece of cover for the others to get back from. He gestures from behind his cloak to get back to cover further down the hall.

"Talia! Use that shield to protect us! We're getting into the shuttle as fast as our legs can move!" Susan immediately ordered. "I don't have legs." Ailema simply said quietly. Susan turns to Lux. "Lux, see if you can find a way to stun the Serapis guards!"

Bowe smiled, as did Hamele as they listened in to the plan and stayed hidden for now. They're waiting for any possible orders they had to follow, if not, they'd follow the others.

Nodding in confirmation, Talia stood in the front. Slamming her sheild into the ground so it stood up on its own, she placed both hand on it, dropping the whip.

“Stand back!” She yelled frantically, the sheild already cracking. In one movement, she held her arms wider and higher, expanding the sheild so a massive wall of energy protected them. Talia groaned from the effort, as she was using physical strength to keep it open.

“I can only hold this for a little while before it breaks completely, or I loose strength!” She yelled out to the captian, trying to breath evenly while keeping the cracked sheild up.

Lux tinkers around in is cloak yet again, and throws a thin rod at the guards. They look at it quizzically, and a flash and a bang blind and deafen the guards. He waves frantically for them to get going.

Lux retreats, and picks up small Bowe and carries her into the shuttle, then heads back for Talia, seeing the physical strain the shield is taking on her. He pats her back to release the shield, as he "Hardened" his cloak, and is ready to cover her retreat.

Talia groaned from the strain, making sure everyone was gone. She fell to her knees, trying to keep from passing out. So when Lux came over and tapped her shoulder, she released the sheild, and fell onto the floor. Talia shook her head from the impact, and got up, shaking slightly. She pushed herself to move, heading for the shuddle which meant freedom.

“Let’s book it!” She yelled, as she ran to the ship with Lux.

Lux grabs one of her arms and slings it over his shoulder just in case, his scarred hands keeping a gentle yet firm grip to prevent her from falling. He supports most of her weight and runs with Talia back to the ship.

Talia gratefully leaned against Lux, but tried to stand on her own best she could. When they got to the ship, she basically almost face planted on the metal. She groaned in slight pain, and gave a thumbs up to the others.

“I really should have read the warnings on that thing......” Talia complained, rubbing her face with her free hand, as her other was still thrown over Lux’s shoulder.

She noticed the air of concern that Lux was giving her, but she waved it off.

“I’m perfectly fine, I just need to be a little dramatic about it first.” Talia grinned at her own joke, but it was hard to joke when her skin was still kinda cracked, and she felt physically drained. “Are the others ok?” She asked as she slumped back in the seat, pressing the back of her head against the wall before looking to the captian.

“Now, not to be pushy, but let’s get the hell out of this insain asylum.” She yelled up to the pilot seat, grinning a little.

Bowe was carried along by Lux, while Hamele followed along post haste, not wanting to remain behind, of course. If any injuries were present, she would heal them shortly, and when in the shuttle, Bowe carefully leapt on out and onto the ground safely.

Susan enters the cockpit of the shuttle and prepares for liftoff. However, right when they were about to leave the shuttle bay, the ship was halted. "What the-?" Turns out, the back of the shuttle was caught by a kunai spear by Captain Goldbeard and, with the help of his other Serapis pirates, is desperately trying to prevent the crew from leaving.
