Long ago, humans and mythical beings had once lived together in harmony. Both sides had signed a treaty to befriend one another and allowing both sides to form trades and even live with one another as complete equals. The rulers of most of the land during the time had been a human who was also accepting of the mythical beings, the rulers had just so happened to had been a king and queen who saw the mythical beings equals to the human race, allowing them to have every same right as the humans did. However, as time progressed further and soon enough the end of the days of the king and queen had arrived; a new ruler had to had been brought up and it had just so happen the very one that had taken the throne hadn't felt the same way as the previous ruler did. Rather, since a child; this new ruler had always held a deep racist hatred towards the mythical beings, believing that their worth was nothing more than to be used as slavery and to make them do all the work for humans due to how their appearance and natural lifestyle was. As the new ruler had taken his role, soon enough the Army and Navy had replaced all of those who were mythical with only humans. As time had progressed further, small actions were constantly taking place as rights were slowly but surely removed away from the mythical beings before soon enough, much large actions had began to happen such as demanding if any human were to do anything to a nonhuman, it would be allowed; such as murder, theft or demands such as forcing them to do others biddings.
As things had progressed even further and time only made things worse for those who had believed that one day things would change and life itself would come back to how it once was; many mythical beings had began to take their homes away from the land straight to the sea and soon end up deciding to become pirates for their living. At first, those who had become pirates had just lived their life at sea as they only came onto land from time to time just to take things from the land such as herbs and hunting for food while also trading with other pirates for other supplies; it had almost seemed as though their lives had become ordinary sailors upon the sea. However, as time continued and the ruler had found out about what happened, he had began to send the Navy after the mythical beings; accusing them for crimes they had not committed to come up as an excuse for attacking their ships, slaughtering them, or even imprisoning them. As this had become known across the sea to the others; enough had been enough and the mythical beings had finally began to take their role as pirates a bit more differently; attacking against the Navy whenever it had called for it, some pirates had began to even fight amongst one another due to some believing that the only way to bring peace back had been to fight while others had began to become concerned that the power of fighting back against the ruler and Navy had been too far.
To this day, the fighting continues to no end. Some humans even believing that what the ruler has done has been also wrong and have decided to join the side of the mythical beings as well. While others have ended up taking up the role of their own piracy.
