"Hm this place doesn't look the same as it did when I was younger" Umiko began to stroll back and forth until she noticed something flying above her head. "What the" Umiko ran towards a blue like statue and hide behind it, she watched as it pass over head. She watched as the object disappeared into the fog or so she thought. Suddenly a large puff of her knocked her flat on her face, scrambling back onto her feet she ran towards the water, tripping on a rock she tumbled down into the shore of the water, Hitting her head on a rock everything went black for a moment.


Opening her eyes to the noise of a door opening she pushed her back up against a rock, her vision was still blurry and she could barley make out the figures walking towards her, throwing herself at the water she transformed into her a mermaid. She dove deep in the water with each one of her wounds healing as she swam deeper. She swam back up and peeked out of the water. The odd flying contraption was still on the beach, but the mysterious figure was still sitting at the waters edge as if it was waiting for her. Umiko crept towards the figure trying to make out what kind of thing this was. "Now, now is that anyway to treat a mermaid of my kind, you do know what we do for a living don't you" Umiko swam a bit closer she gave the figure a wink and flipped onto her back and began to play around in the water. "The names Umiko, and you might be" splashing about in the water she smiled at the figured. "And I have one last question why in the world were you trying to kill me with that monsterous thing" gesturing her head towards the object.

Kevin walked in with blood splatters on his clothes. Looking at Umiko, he glared at her captors. Picking up Umiko he walked out and said, "Try that again and i'll exterminate all of you."

The Terradon's rider jumped off, watching her flee into the waters. "Are you alright?" he called in his own tongue, approaching the water's edge. He held no weapons, leaving them in their sheathes and such. She appeared unarmed, and was in the water, she didn't pose much threat to him at the moment. The JiRaptor Riders arrived, and sat, still mounted, watching the situation.


"I didn't mean to mistreat you," the rider continued in his own language. The Zaraank could understand any language, but they weren't able to speak common if they hadn't been taught it. "I am Kukulkan Haak, of the Kukulkan Clan of the Zaraank. And my Terradon wasn't trying to kill you. You simply stood too close when he landed," he continued.

Kevin waited for a response and formed a sphere in his left hand. Sighing to himself, he wondered about his future.

Umiko kept her distance and looked at Kukulan, she kept her distance but felt a sigh of relief. "I'm sorry please excuse my behaviour, you just startled me"


Umiko gave Kukulan a reassuring smile. Smiling towards the shore she climbed up on the nearest rock and and changed back into a human. She jumped from rock to Rock until she was just feet away from Kuklkan. "this place has changed a lot since I was a small child, my mother and I used to come here to have picnics together, so are you here to escort me or what?" She smiled and continued to play draw in the sand with her feet.

Kikya sighed pouting as he leaned back in his chair. After getting the dagger he saw he had asked around but no one could give him a ride. Somehow he had ended back up in the Tavern. Leaning forward he stared down at the cold glass of root beer that he held cradled between his hands. His face reflected back at him and he hated how disappointed he looked. This was suppose to be a grand adventure. How come so far all it has been is a disappointment?

If you speak the truth, much has changed between the Zaraank and the outsiders between these times." he stated. He turned, seeing Kevin. "Kevin Dobson, you dress in millitary dress, and carry weapons. My clan does not trust armed humans anymore. They bring bad times, and much blood. Humans bring death and conquest to our shores, mermaids, bring peace." he said, nodding to Umiko. He turned to the JiRaptors, and shouted, "Fetch the Chieftan!" They turned, charging back off into the jungle, back to the village.

Umiko hopped up on terradon holding dress down, she swung one leg on to each side and held on to Kukulkan. "I have no intentions of hurting anyone or doing any harm, I am just on an adventure" Umiko gave him a reassuring smile and then looked forward, she watched as the scenery changed, everything has changed since she was a little girl. She smiled and held on for the ride.

The Terradon leapt off, soaring into the air, flying back to the village, as the Chieftan, Jiram arrived to see Kevin. "Greetings, foriegner," he said, stepping off his JiRaptor. "I do not like humans upon my shores, why have you come?" he asked, no sugar coating, no formality, just straight to the point.

"Uncle Jiram" Umiko leapt towards him throwing her arms wide she as she was going in for a hug she tripped and fell on her knees before him. "How have you been, I have missed you dearly! Umiko smiled at him and looked into his eyes. Umiko could feel her body getting warmer she needed to get into the ocean, but she was to excited to move.


Then everything began to get darker and darker. People were disappearing from her vision the last thing she heard was the sound of people calling her name.

He smiled, "I see you still remember me, little one.''. Her question made him sigh. "Not too well actually, the humans have been getting more aggressive a-'' he was interrupted by her collapsing onto her side. H stood there for a moment, shocked, and then picked her up, one arm under her back and another under her legs. He ran towards the water, and lowered her in, hoping that the water would heal her or something.
