Hearing the Commander's words, Joseph nearly broke down right on the spot. "It's not over; the nightmares have followed me here, too." The Commander explained how he could easily deal with a minor organic threat. "I have no idea what could have gotten through the portal with me, but I can assure you, it'd be organic." With the mention of the Commander's psionic abilities additionally, Joseph did not feel any more relieved. "I fought loads of...things for a whole day before escaping; along the way, I encountered too many types to remember. Some were no smaller than a pet, others, as large as a bear. The latter of which I ran away from every time; it seemed like there was no order to those creatures. All they'd do is convert corpses into more of them, almost like that was their purpose."

The Swede recounted the scariest detail, "I don't know how their bodies function, but I can assure you, it's too different from ours. You cut off their arms they come toward you unfazed. You cut off their legs, they'll quickly crawl after you." Joseph cleared his throat before speaking. "You cut off their head they'll.....they'll still come after you. At this point, I don't think they even have anything that could be considered a mind. Their movements seemed more predetermined;more ingrained into their biology than mere instinct, if you know what I mean. Genetically, I guess." He solemnly tried to explain, yet could not find the right words to do so. It was then, Joseph remembered the many tentacled moons that appeared in Earth's sky right before he traveled through the portal. "No, Commander, please. You have to promise me, whatever you do, don't try to mess with one of those things' minds if they have one. I'm almost certain it would mean madness, or even worse.....it will hasten the process." Joseph pleaded, not knowing how right he was.

MR DARK

Main Central

Interacting with Ib and Pixels ( Vagabond Spectre Vagabond Spectre GearBlade654 GearBlade654 )

Hmm. This child was braver than Mr Dark would've given her credit for. Or, perhaps, she was just stupid. Or mentally insane - Mr Dark has met those sorts of people before. In fact, one of his minions was criminally insane and worshipped him like a god. He wasn't complaining, of course, as free cannon fodder was free cannon fodder, but it did annoy him that the mad Teensie insisted on calling itself Mr Dark...oh well. It wasn't like it mattered now, with Mr Dark - the real Mr Dark - being in another dimension completely. Besides, the last he had heard from his obsessive minion what that it too was defeated.

He noticed that, instead of fear and terror, confusion was appearing on the girl's face. An odd thing, indeed. Although, granted, the girl probably wasn't aware of who he was...something that would produce confusion. Still, surely his presence alone was enough to induce fear? Mr Dark almost felt disappointed in himself. He looked up, however, as he heard metallic clanking coming from nearby his attention was pulled away from the girl. Another one of those robots had dared to approach him, yet this one seemed different to the two robots that had 'kindly' escorted him to his Orb. Or rather, escorted the prison containment cell he was trapped in.

He didn't care about it, though. While Darkray seemed infuriated by the metal man, because he was infuriated by everything, Mr Dark saw nothing interesting about it and simply let it do what it wanted. No, the girl was far more interesting. "Does something amuse you, girl? Tell me your name." His voice sounded harsh and deep, and his tone sounded more like an adult scolding a child over an adult asking a question. Of course, unbeknownst to everyone, that was his normal tone.

The Commander
"Alright, alright. Stay cool-freaking out isn't going to get you anywhere. Try and tell me where I can find this new intruder."
I pull out my Heavy Plasma, and get check it. Ready to go. No problem.
"Show me where it is. And I'll blow the thing to bits."
The doubt in my voice is slightly apparent. The full impact of Joseph's words are coming to hit me. I need to ensure the... thing is fully and completely obliterated.

"If I knew where it was, why do you think I'm freaking out in the first place, aside from how dangerous it would be?!" Joseph shouted back, rather loudly now. "Look, those dead things hid all the time for ambushes; in dark corners, behind things, even in the god damn air vents above you. And somehow, they'd always know where I am; they follow. Depending on the size of it, that thing could be anywhere." He worried, staying behind the Commander; at this point, Joseph had thrown away his composure completely. Yet, he realized something was wrong, "Yes, it could hide anywhere; but there's been no trouble."

Calming down, the Swede began to pace around, thinking this out. "Anyone could be attacked right now when their backs are turned, yet no such thing has occurred. Unless it doesn't want just anyone...." Joseph's eyes lit up upon reaching this better by comparison conclusion. "Of course; it doesn't want anyone else, it wants me."

I growl under my breath.
"Psionics... won't work? Hmph. That is disturbing..."
I calmly check my Heavy Plasma.
"Hmph. Anyways. A second thing I wanted to get to you."
I hand Joseph a description of our next missions.
"This."
Joseph noted a minor change in the Commander's voice. It wasn't fear.
It was calculating with a hint of annoyance.

With complete silence. Ib turned around only to see that the giant figure from earlier started to approach her. She thought she was in big trouble until they returned the precious item she dropped. Before she could say "thank you". The creauture already left. Returning back to the dark figure. Ib simply replied "I'm Ib, who are you?" MR DARK

Main Central

Talking with Ib ( Vagabond Spectre Vagabond Spectre )

Hmm. This girl was a point of intrigue to Mr Dark. Perhaps it was just because of his reputation on his world, but all those who had met him usually panic and scream bloody murder, or even simply faint at his grim presence. Except this girl wasn't doing any of those things. She must certainly be braver than she looked. Such bravery could easily be of use to Mr Dark...if she had any other skills other than her bravery, of course. Although, now that he looked closer - his eyes narrowing as he does so - it didn't seem like bravery and more like...well, just complete emotional vacancy. She seemed more like a void than an actual person. Just like him, in a sense.

The girl soon enough introduced herself as Ib. An odd name, but at the same time he was from a far different universe to her, it seemed. Perhaps Ib was a common name where she was from. Now getting a closer look, Ib certainly didn't seem impressive. She was young and wore odd, basic clothes. She did not seem to have any magical aura coming from her, nor did she seem to carry any weapon. All she had was that handkerchief that the robot handed to her, and a strange artificial flower. Oddities at best. Certainly not anything worthy of a 'saviour of the universe'. Perhaps she had some secret talent he could not see? In truth, though, he doubted it.

Then, the girl asked his name. Mr Dark almost chuckled at the question - it had been years since he had ever needed to speak his name. His name was a curse amongst the good people. It was what grown men whimpered in their troubled sleep, and what children were taught when parents needed to keep them in check. "My name is Dark. Mr Dark." He enjoyed this girl, in a weird, corrupt way. She reminded him of himself, back in the day - heartless, emotionless and completely uncaring of those around him. Maybe he wouldn't destroy her with magic. "Darkray!" As he looked around for his minion, who was still inexplicably angry at...everything, Darkray saluted and approached him. "Yes, master?" Sighing at the creature's excessive loyalty, which started to annoy the dark magician after a while, he turned his shadowy head to the dismembered minion. "Darkray, do not kill this one. I like her, and she reminds me of myself when I was younger." Darkray looked confused, with his Intelligence rating of 4, at the young girl, pondering what Mr Dark could've seen in her, but nodded anyways. Then, the infuriated look on his face vanished into a simple, flat, face similar to that of a robot's.

Ib's head tilted slightly to her right as this mysterious figure introduced himself as "Mister dark" which seems to be a suspicious name to be trusted but Ib mistakenly took the guy as no threat. She held on to her rose, tightly.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. dark." Ib didn't ask on where they are or how did they wound up here for she still thinks that she is still in the art gallery. So many things she has seen. The dimension she's in could fit right in. Thus she can't tell the difference between the two. She looked at the other shadow creature, who looks extremely mad. She scratched her wondering what he's so mad about

The Fabulous Emerald The Fabulous Emerald

Despite the fact that Yona was present, and wordlessly approaching her foretold destination, she seemed to follow no orders once she had equipped her garments and bow. Once the lift had gradually elevated to rest in the heart of the Main Central ship once again, locking into it, the same two mechanical guards that guided Mr. Dark from his cell, armed with belt-fed general purpose machine guns gave the reincarnation of Hiryuu a 'caring' tap with the buttstock of their heavy rifles. "You. Get a move on. Or there will be consequences." One of them warned. After roughly 10 seconds of dead silence from her, she was dragged away by both arms, each robot grasping one, as she was taken to the Monarch's core chamber for disciplinary action. Future just blinked a few times, not expecting any reactions, due to how he was taught to react to rule-breakers.

Once the guards had returned, they kept their visualizing visors tracked on the dark magician, their LMGs set on 'fully-automatic' just in case he acted out against authority, as a last resort. They were not loaded with pyrotechnical 'blanks', either. With that being said, the heavy weapons were held close to their waist and weren't being shouldered, at the current moment, since seemingly nothing required their attention. They were slightly concerned by the mysterious figure bumping into young, clever Ib, who was knocked onto her tush, and one even dared to raise his weapon, before the other robotic being spoke to him "Leave it be. Based on my analysis, it's likely not a serious situation." As the Empress questioned the authoritative, artificial being from where she stood in the spacecraft, there was a long silence. But then came an answer, heard only by Cat. "You are a noble hero, Ms. Valentine, surely cherished by many. As you demonstrated in your last battle, most foes don't hold a pin to your strength. Plus... the rifts that are torn in the Multiverse are fundamentally chaotic and uncontrollable. I'm very sorry, but it is your duty to assist in the protection of this world."

The young lass's eyes, which were masqueraded in an orange shade by her sunglasses, met with the inspirational bounty hunter's sharp gaze. Nevertheless, one of her gloved hands grasped the man's, and she gave him a firm handshake, smirking lightly underneath that tarnished bandana. "My name is Sarah. Shouldn't really tell strangers that, but I dun' really care. You saved my life." She shrugged. The rioter was slightly tuckered out, but to a much less degree than Captain Falcon, as she didn't need to rely on internal energy for her strength in battle. Despite this, she barely cheated death from that miscreant of a computer file earlier, and she was grateful that the mach racer was there to rescue her from what appeared to be a certain demise. "Wherever you fight, I'm fightin'. No matter what happens." She said, assured that they'd give all foes that faced them a harsh day. With that, she wandered off aimlessly, rifle still slung behind her, and not held in her hands.

Concurrently, the naïve angel was confronted by the armored sniper, and gave a gentle headtilt as he pivoted about on his sandaled feet. Listening to the question Sagittarius proposed, he nodded gently, his eyes flickering about from left to right as he explained. "I come from that 'universe'. Sadly, I haven't gotten a hold of Lady Palutena since I ended up here. Perhaps she's temporarily taken away my guidance privileges..." He huffs, before shaking his head, fixing up the laurel crown that topped it. "Anyway, not only the temple already in shambles, but it's been overtaken by Underworld troops, the Forces of Nature, and crazy things I've never seen before! We've gotta' put an end to it somehow!" Then, he froze, as the woman slowly turned her back and wandered away to speak with others. "Right?"

Approximately 10 minutes have passed, and the Monarch assumed that everyone had gotten accustomed to the Main Central, and their new companions, once again. Her voice echoed throughout the sluggish spaceship, as she broadcasted once more, a chime ringing before she spoke. "Attention: To all designated heroes. You are to report to the Monarch's Chamber for mission briefing immediately. Failure to comply will result in you being returned to stasis." With that, Pit gave a slight cheer, and kept running towards his destination, where he was previously halted, with Sam and Mei-Ling following suit, not saying a word. The rioter rushed over to nudge the man she had allied herself with before, with her elbow, and then motioned towards the chamber with a "Come on, let's move!"

    CAPTAIN FALCON

    Main Central

Returning to Monarch after talking with 'Sarah' ( AshuraaHunter AshuraaHunter )

Falcon smiled as his new ally introduced herself. "Well, Sarah, I'd be glad for your assistance." In truth, he did not want to put her in harm's way. Were she to ask before everything that happened with the corruption and the multiverse, when he was still a bounty hunter chasing down villains and not some sort of multiverse travelling soldier, he would have simply sent the girl away. In fact, he might have even arrested her, since she wields a gun and seems to have no qualms in shooting it. As simple as the primitive peashooter may be, it was still a lethal weapon. But now...well, it was a different story. There was a war coming - far more dangerous and with catastrophic consequences than anything he had ever seen before. And wars like this needed soldiers, regardless of who they were. Besides, she seemed competent enough.

Still, he wasn't going to let her go that easily. "Here, take this. In case you are disarmed again. Besides, my gun is a little higher tech than yours." With a smirk, the man with the flaming fists unbuckled his green holster belt, the gun and its single energy recharge clip still attached to it, with the classic falcon emblem engraved onto the holster itself. Despite him having the gun for pretty much ever - since his days in the police - the gun seems barely used. There was the odd scratch, but nothing nearly as much as the average gun. The answer was fairly simple - he didn't need to use it all that often. His punches were more effective than any gun. It was also clear he wasn't going to take no for an answer.

With that introduction out of the way, Falcon sighed as he removed his helmet. He rubbed a hand over his face, expecting to feel the harsh bite of pain from the cut he had suffered in the battle, but to his surprise the cut seemed to have vanished. His old scar, however, that he had suffered four years ago was still there. It was as much a part of him as his ki attacks were, and no level of healing was going to remove it. Besides, it was a reminder what happens when you crash a racer.

Hearing a voice in his head, and an elbow in his side, he knew it was time for him to head to his next battle. He wasn't quite sure where it would lead him, but he knew he would fight all the same. He headed into the main room, and awaited further instruction.

(I trust you know where my votes stand - Falcon in Kid Icarus, and Dark in Pokemon :3. In other words, the god killer protecting the goddess' temple, and the supervillain tracking down the criminals. Two sweet doses of irony.)

"Cherished by all... Huh? Doesn't that sound like a load of Anima." Regardless of her thoughts, Leone stands up on her two feet as she heard more of the artificial being. "...This whole multiverse is just a real big pain in the side." She says quietly under her breath as she makes her way out of the plaza with a scowl plain on her face. Leone gently tapped the Sevens Sword's scabbard with the back of her hand, causing to move slightly on the left side of her hip. "But knowing that geezer, he wouldn't even dare complain about something like this... if it meant helping someone in need."

After a fair bit of walking, Leone arrives at the Monarch Chamber... replacing her scowl with a look of indifference as she begins cracking her neck a bit. Looking around, she saw the man named Captain Falcon here as well... probably got here before her. "At least other people here are excited on the prospect of going to other places... though, I would be lying to myself if I wasn't exactly curious on what we'll do next."

The Commander

(Credit to original poster)
"Sagittarius, Pixels! Let's move!"
The Commander gestured for the sniper and scout to follow.
Within seconds, the near-complete squad was at the Monarch's Chamber.
"The Monitor, correct? We have already selected our missions."
Saluting the machine, the Commander summoned a psionic board.
"Unit Sagittarius-"
I indicate Sagittarius, who calmly waves. Classic Sagittarius-always calm even in the face of danger.
"Is deploying to Palatea-Palenta-agh, I can't get the name right. The Temple for defense."

"Pixels here-"
The scout was checking it's Laser Rifle and knife, before emitting an affirmative beep,
"Is deploying to the Wasteland for scouting. Scouting is the reason Pixels exists, and this mission would be Pixels' forte."

"I myself, shall be deploying to Somalia."
I take a deep breath, and quietly realize my Heavy Plasma was out. I put it away. That was embarrassing.
"As XCOM commander, I cannot allow Earth to suffer while I am away."

Satisfied with his explanation with who was going where, the Commander asked a single question.
"Errr, a question, if you're interested?"
"I noticed that Unit Gemini was unable to awaken from stasis. May I ask if you know what happened?"

Being summoned by the Monarch, Joseph sighed; he didn't want to hold up the Commander any more and let him go perform his pre-mission duties. 'Guess it's not a big problem....for now.' He figured, knowing that whatever followed from his universe was waiting for just the right moment to intrude. That thing definitely wasn't human; at the very least, it might be the recombined chunk of a human corpse, still dangerous nonetheless. "Better get a move on, suppose." Joseph had his helmet extend around his head once more. The lights of the outside visor flared to life, indicating it was all good to go.

Being one of the last few into the chamber where Monarch had assembled all of the available combatants, it was clear that a lot was going down. Multiples missions were in need of completion at this time; thankfully, with the superiors having the foresight to gather many people, there will be not much issue with assigning available groups. Of course, some might have less squad members than others, but surely that can be compensated by the mission being less dangerous.

Standing in the back, the Swede analyzed all of the different universe squads were being deployed to. Places of gods, powerful creatures, hazardous environments; yet one stood out. 'Another Earth.....maybe I can make some sort of amends.' The solemn security guard remained in thought, as each person volunteered, before following suit. "Uh, yes. I'd like to be sent to Earth with Commander, Mei, and Cat." Joseph raised his voice to signify his ambition, hopeful to see an Earth that wasn't in total shape. 'Then again, we didn't really do the best job at taking care of Earth before it all wen to hell....' The Swede recalled humans from his universe and their desperate need for energy and resources; having used up most of them. 'Actually, that might have been the match that burned humanity in the end.' These realizations made Joseph even more eager to go to an Earth and try some positive action; anything to make up for how human history treated his Earth.

Narancia Ghirga

The sniper's response was to turn around.
"Well, it's a long story. I'll give the short story to try and make things quick, but I'll give the long story if you want it."
I calmly put my plasma rifle away, and turn to the new hero. Well, he doesn't look like much of a threat if he's angry, but can't take risks...
Hm, well, here goes...
"Basically we're summoned from different universes. To fight some evil in the universe, one that threatens to kill us all."
The grim smile on Sagittarius' face was apparent.
"From what I've inferred apparently the "Monitor" summons the best heroes it can find. How..."
"I don't know."

Narancia frowned and crossed his arms. So basically, Future and this 'Monarch' person were kidnapping people from their homes because they can't fight their own battles. Narancia was starting to understand things more clearly now. I guess all this hi-tech crap would make sense if he was in another universe.

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense in a weird way... Thanks, guy."

With his curiosity gnawing at him and nothing better to do, Narancia spent the next 10 minutes roaming the space station. He wasn't sure he was ready to interact with any of these weirdos yet, although some of them seemed reasonable enough.

Failure to comply will result in you being returned to stasis."

Just as Narancia was beginning to wonder when they'd see Future next, an announcement rang through the ship telling everyone to gather for a meeting. Finally, maybe now he could get some answers from this Future jerk. Although he ended up getting a bit lost, Narancia eventually stumbled his way through the Monarch's Chamber. He looked around and saw that some of the other 'heroes' had beat him here, but there was still no sign of Future. With a frustrated sigh, Narancia found a seat in the middle of the chamber and plopped himself down.

Not a second passed before a screen appeared in front of him, showing him the different missions and places to choose from. Narancia, who was very disinterested and unwilling to go on some warzone missiom for this Future guy, Narancia picked the Alolan mission.

The mission took place on a tropical island, and it seemed like all they'd be doing was some investigating. Hell, maybe they could sit back and get some fruity drinks when the mission was finished. "Whatever gets me home quicker," Narancia mumbled to himself.

Without much questioning, except for the fact that all of the interuniversal saviors were clueless as to how they ended up here (some even being angered about it), the missions were chosen swiftly, after the evidently bossy artificial intelligence explained each one in depth. "Fabulous. Now, my assistant Future will guide you to your mission pods, where you will be flown off to your selected destination. Have a nice day, and don't get killed." She speaks, in that digitized, English-accented voice. "It takes plenty of regenerative nano-energy in order to repair something that currently isn't alive." After having memorized through a sequential process what everyone had chosen, the blue-haired, augmented Tetsuya gave a nod of his head, and led everyone off. "I expect you to split up into the groups you have aligned yourselves with. Sorry for those of you who opted to navigate Black Mesa. There wasn't much interest in it whatsoever. Really, I don't blame you. Who would want to contract alien samples from a potentially undiscovered world?" He chuckles, foolishly, before leading them to the heart of the Main Central, suspended in the space of the Multiverse.

As the Rioter inspected the ranged weapon that was thrust into her hands, alongside its holster, which also contained slots for a spare clip (one of which was full), she smiled up to the muscular man with gratitude. Despite wanting to desperately test the futuristic gun, Sarah knew she couldn't quite do it in here. So she just nodded towards her ally for now. "Once again, thanks. I think it'll come in handy." She didn't think twice about the possibility of handing it back to him; the rambunctious girl knew full well that the glorious bounty hunter and former policeman needed only his fists and inner power to make a harsh impact on his enemies within the battlefield. As she wandered along with him, Ib, and Sagittarius, the flightless angel followed suit, a light tone of concern in his voice. "You know, this is my world we're visiting. I would stay there, but it's in a state of chaos so deep that I just... can't..." He utters. "It's saddening. And we've gotta do something about it!" The armed girl was going to make a comment, but she just shook her head and marched along.

Two other, personality-less AI shells, human in shape, dropped downward from the skies to guide the groups headed to Earth and the Alola region, while Tetsuya migrated over to lead the troupe that selected Palutena's Temple as their first destination. "I'll keep trudging with you guys. As for you eight, you'll be guided down to the high-speed pods by my two friends - Cero and Xero!" They did not speak, despite possessing molded, porcelain-white faces which seemed stilled. "Don't worry, they won't be bossing you around on your missions, either. They don't ever seem to have much absconding their tongues at any time..." He chuckled, with a rub of the nape of his neck. Sam spoke, cautiously walking behind it and pressing that huge weapon to the back of its head compartment. "Y'know, whenever a predicament like this takes place, I get the primal, military instinct of 'shoot first, and ask questions later'. Though I'm barely resisting my urges right now..." With a shake of Future's head, the talking canine indeed lowered his weapon, whilst Mei danced about on her feet a bit, eager as to what discoveries she can make in this world, but also equally antsy, in a negative sense... "I came from Earth, too. I just... wonder what has changed in this so-called 'parallel universe'. I really hope it's not polluted..." She panics for a moment, wandering along.

Without a single word now, the doors to all three current mission pods were released, and shifted out of the way so that the occupants could step in. Tetsuya, Cero, and Xero operated their designated pod's controls, in order to unlock the doors of the sealed chambers with a steam-filled hiss. Once the characters had stepped into their respective pods, and let them seal over their being, they initiated the starting controls for each vehicle, before marking their proposed destinations within an approximate, detailed 3D layout of Multiverse Space. "Prepare for anything, guys! Also - newbies, you guys should have the Sm@rt Radio System devices clipped to you! They vanish when not in use, so don't forget about them during a mission!" He stated, in a surprisingly cheery voice, before saying "Gotta blast!" and zooming off, alongside the remaining two micro-ships.

(Imagine this, but in a bit more of a shamble, and with a slight purple tint to the atmosphere)
Operation Seira
Location: Palutena's Temple
Objective: Point Defense
A place that looked like it hopped right out of an Ancient Greek wonderworld, which would've been deemed fit for the gods, was where the heroes landed. On the very edge of one large, floating, earthy platform, with several surrounding it, seeming to be the size of at least a miniature town. No humans ran about, however, and a dying light (seeming to be that of the Sun's) was weakened, and swallowed, by the poison of the corruption gulping it up. Several enemies wandered the lands and the skies. Butt-ugly goblins that were clad in elven clothing sat around on perches with bows equipped, Monoeyes and Miks floated about, and those pesky Scrap Files from the computer world scurried the ground, making the population seem flourishing... but it was far from positive. "Gah! They're dominating the place! We've gotta stop them before it's too late." Pit growled, promptly attempting to challenge every enemy in his sight, before Tetsuya started speaking over the SRS. "Whoa, pardner! Hold your horses and set aside the root beer. I've got some explaining to do. From those two bridges to your flanks, there will be several different zones. Scattered among these four zones are enemy points, which you must contest, capture, and defend, until you manage to push them away for an adequate time. Locate them, and get crackin'!" He demanded. Sighing gently, the winged boy dashed off, running along the left bridge, crafted of weathered and weakened wood planks.

1520644552011.png
Sub-Operation Pinap Juice
Location: Melemele Island (Alolan Route 1)
Objective: Investigate
Amidst some suspicious happenings on one of the four islands that consisted the Alolan Archipelago, four of the heroes, Pixels, Narancia, Mr. Dark, and Sam, found themselves landing on the sandy shores of a beach. Nearby was a house, which seemed quite simple and non-concerning, but perhaps it was of interest anyhow? Tetsuya proceeded to explain to all four of them through the digital communication line, as well. "Alright. This isn't too serious a mission, but I feel it still warrants our attention. There has been some misfortune spread throughout the island of Melemele, and we can't really put a pin on where precisely it's coming from." A red, holographic map point hovered above the lonely house for a second, alongside a synchronized sound effect. "You'll want to head into this laboratory, and speak with Professor Kukui." Sam seemed to be in disbelief for a moment. "Holy scorched and burnin' caves of Borneo immersed in hot sauce! That's a laboratory? Never would have guessed, unless you're referring to a methamphetamine lab." He comments with a foolish chuckle, before Tetsuya groans. "Which I wasn't. Stick to the mission, Sam. It's not like you to say something like that." Humming to himself, the Freelance Policeman nodded, and adjusted his top hat, before leading the way towards the residence. However, in front of the door stood a girl, with alabaster skin, luscious blonde hair, white clothing, and a ridiculously large sunhat, who turned about to lay her green eyes on the group of strangers with a panicked gasp, tumbling onto her rump in the process. "What in Arceus' name are you guys?!" She squeals, all four of them seeming like misfits, a term that Samuel didn't quite fancy. "We're not misfits. You see, we were extracted from our own timelines and put into this weird, suspending spacecraft, and then we were sent off to inspect-- Hey, it really does sound weird when I say that out loud. Can you just grant us access? We're here to speak with a Mr. Kukui about what's been goin' on. It's of our utmost concern." Still fear-stricken for a moment, the girl, still anonymous in name, gave a nod of her head, and stepped to the side after opening the door and letting the wind blow it further ajar. "Here. But only if you promise not to hurt or break anyone or anything." The young one states defensively, as a precaution, before stepping behind the quartet. Upon entry, they would find Kukui working at a nearby wooden desk, clicking away at a desktop computer, while his pet Rockruff laid next to his arm.

(This, but bigger. Way bigger.)
Operation Crunch
Location - Hijacked military vessel, headed towards Somalia (destination unknown)
Objective - Rescue the hostages

At the very far end of the ship was where the heroes set foot. So far, surprisingly, no sign of the Corruption, which just might have been a positive sign. The Chinese climatologist that was allied with the other three wandered about aimlessly, around a stacking of wooden crates, the contents of which being unknown to her and all other currently wandering eyes. "So this is the Arabian Sea, correct? If it is still so clean, then that must mean that the Gulf Nations must still be rich enough to maintain its purity. Can't say the same about the people, sadly..." She huffs, unlocking her Cryo-Drone, Snowball, from where it was locked in. "I might just let this guy hover in to perform some recon, but I'm scared he might draw too much attention. Should I wait, perhaps?" She asked, the question being directed toward her comrades. Two men were speaking relatively nearby, behind the first stack of cargo containers, but since it was in Somali (their native language), and they were also distant, it was unlikely that any of the heroes would be able to understand their conversation.

Sagittarius
"Hey, HQ. This is Sagittarius. I've reached the mission site."
"Gimme the orders."
I hear the vice commander respond.
"Alright. Sagittarius, try and find some high ground. Once you find decent ground, aim for what looks important."
"Gotcha, command."
I look around.
"Bad news. Someone skimped on the high ground here."
"Alright. Find cover, and Overwatch the left zone."
Sagittarius responded by pulling out her plasma rifle, and calmly surveyed the scene.
Whatever made the mistake of walking into Sagittarius' view would take a plasma shot to the face.

Pixels
The scout, upon spotting the Professor, quickly let out a beep, waiting for the Professor. Upon the Professor responding, Pixels would project two words.
"Professor Kukui?"
Back at base, the crew responsible for taking care of Pixels were paying attention to their screens, monitoring the robot's every action.
The Commander
The american let out a low growl under his breath, which he kept to himself.
"Why didn't I take that Somalian course when I had the chance?"
He turned to Mei.
"Hmm. I'll perform recon. And don't worry, if I'm spotted and these two see me I'll send them running as far as possible."
I silently take steps, making sure to hide behind cover when possible. I can easily Panic these two but these men are probably innocent dock workers.
And I swore never to intentionally harm an innocent.

Narancia Ghirga
The Alola Region: Route 1 --> Kukui's Lab

Sam spoke, cautiously walking behind it and pressing that huge weapon to the back of its head compartment. "Y'know, whenever a predicament like this takes place, I get the primal, military instinct of 'shoot first, and ask questions later'. Though I'm barely resisting my urges right now..."

Narancia nodded his head in agreement. "I feel ya Dog Guy. Sometimes it just seems better to blow something to bits and ask questions later."

Narancia stepped into the pod with the Sam, Mr. Dark and Pixels, opting to sit next to Pixels as he wasn't nearly as creepy as the wizard. Plus, it wasn't gushing sweat from its armpits, unlike a certain talking dog. On the way to their destination, Narancia decided he was going to be the first to speak. Ciao, the name's Narancia, I'm 17 years old and I don't have any problems killing any of you if you piss me off. As he said that, Narancia took out his knife he had tucked away and started waving it around threateningly. Narancia put the small blade back in its place and gave everyone a nice little wave. "Anyway, it's nice to meet ya."

Never would have guessed, unless you're referring to a methamphetamine lab."

Narancia laughs at Sam's joke, this dog seemed cooler than he had previously given him credit for.

Humming to himself, the Freelance Policeman nodded, and adjusted his top hat, before leading the way towards the residence. However, in front of the door stood a girl, with alabaster skin, luscious blonde hair, white clothing, and a ridiculously large sunhat, who turned about to lay her green eyes on the group of strangers with a panicked gasp, tumbling onto her rump in the process. "What in Arceus' name are you guys?!"

Narancia offered his hand to the girl, helping her up if she chose to accept it. "Uh, us? It's, uh, kinda complicated. I'm Narancia, by the way."

"Wouldn't dream of it," Narancia claimed with a boyish smile, following the others inside.

Upon entry, they would find Kukui working at a nearby wooden desk, clicking away at a desktop computer, while his pet Rockruff laid next to his arm.
The scout, upon spotting the Professor, quickly let out a beep, waiting for the Professor. Upon the Professor responding, Pixels would project two words.
"Professor Kukui?"
Narancia, who was nowhere near as subtle as their robot companion, let out a hearty, "Yo!" to get the Professor's attention. "You're Kukui, right? We're here to to help solve your little problem."

Looking Around ( AshuraaHunter AshuraaHunter , Vagabond Spectre Vagabond Spectre GearBlade654 GearBlade654 )

The man just chuckled as the girl took his gun. "Just aim and hold the trigger - the plasma beam will do the rest. Don't worry about it breaking on you - I've only used it once ever." That part was true. Guns were sort of worthless for the man who can punch explosions and kick lightning. Still, it would certainly see better use from the girl with the ancient assault rifle - maybe, when this was over, he'd take her to his world to get a decent upgrade. He was still good with the IPF - and besides, they were going to do very little against him. If he wanted one or two of their guns, he was going to get them.

He stepped into the shuttle, and breathed heavily as the familiar sensation crossed his body. Within seconds, he was in a different place altogether. He stepped out of the dropship, and began looking around. He laughed to himself - he thought Sarah's gun was old. Whatever this place was, they were still using stone in their buildings! Although he doubted little more than sharpened sticks and thrown rocks from the attackers, he prepared himself for combat.

He noticed the angel and the sniper taking the left, so he decided to take the right. Cracking his knuckles, he fell into his iconic battle-stance as he awaited the first fool to come across him. Fire engulfed his fist, and the Falcon was ready to strike. Then, he began speaking into the comms device into his helmet. "Say, this is the temple of a damned goddess, yes? So, why isn't that goddess able to actually help us?" He was speaking publicly, but it was more aimed towards the angel and Tetsuya. It was clear in his voice that he didn't like gods...although, from his previous encounter with one, it was fair enough.

With Leone transported to a different universe onto... what seems to be a large ship, her head started to feel a bit fuzzy... but regardless of that feeling, she looks over to see that one of her allies on this mission has already began to move. Hiding behind some of the metal boxes to avoid being spotted. "Hmmmmm... I don't know why he's bothering using stealth tactics... but I guess we can't be too careful with the people on this ship. Hmm... might be an armed merchant ship if these boxes are anything to go by."

With that thought in mind, she looks over to Mei... who seemingly wears a lot of layers of clothing. But with her adorable face, Leone simply shrugs. "I'm following behind him... make sure he doesn't get overwhelmed if he gets caught." She said to Mei quietly. Stretching out her arms and legs first, she follows behind the Commander, her speed making sure that she right behind him at all times while in cover.

Joseph watched as the Commander took the initiative to survey the area from a hidden location. "Probably could've used a better hiding spot," he noted. "But it's good to work with a military mindset guiding us." Aside from the Commander, the Swede had Leone from the last mission and a rather warmly dressed woman named Mei. She had a little robot of sorts with her, dubbed Snowball.

"Well, now that we have had a short chance to view the area, anyone know our targets in need of protection?" Joseph inquired his squad. Meanwhile, he looked up at the blue sky, glad to not see multiple tentacled moons filling the entire skyline. 'This is how Earth should be...' the relaxed security guard thought, feeling tranquil despite being on a mission.

The Commander
"Hmph."
As the Commander found a decent hiding spot, the commander was silently musing.
Pixels.
It was clear that Pixels' info was correct and that he wasn't being lured into some deathtrap. Now, the time for recon was over.
Just some time before leaving, the Commander had ordered a new chassis discovered by dimensional portal for Pixels that Pixels could upload into for a full on assault on enemies. It would lose part of its scouting potential for a full on assault, soaking up damage and dishing it out.
The perfect war machine. Pixels would need experience however to exploit this new, dimensional design to truly strike fear in the hearts of the enemy.
As the psionic's mind mused on Pixels' upgrade, brief flashes appeared in his teammates' minds. Unintentionally, mind you...

Hearing Joseph, the Commander quickly responded. "Negatory. I can only guess it's innocent civilians."
