The robot was giving the Blue Falcon a fair bit of... fascination? It seemed to display curiosity, especially on the engines.
However, it tried to explain it was trained for recon and stealth. With projections, that was pretty difficult.
Knowing it was getting nowhere, it contented itself with a thumbs up towards the Captain after it gave a defeated... sigh? It clearly didn't sound too happy with it's failure to explain its purpose.

With a nod from the iconic bounty hunter, Captain Falcon proceeded to run a gloved hand, even now still warm from his onslaught on the enemy, across the body of the Blue Falcon. This wasn't just a machine to him - it was his life, his soul, his Falcon. As his hand caressed the hull of the mach speed machine, he pulled a latch and with a hiss of air the cockpit door of the racer opened. With a final salute, still ingrained into his mind from his police days, he jumps into the machine and closes the cockpit door. It was nice being back in the Blue Falcon - like returning home after a long holiday. Flipping the switches of the machine, activating various parts of it (such as the Boost function, the Shields and so on), the thrusters on the back flared blue and purple with energy as if a quasar had opened under the cobalt hull of the fabled machine.

The landing struts climbed back into the body, yet the machine did not fall. Remaining in place, using little more than magnetism and energy to keep the whole thing afloat, the Blue Falcon adjusted to face its destination - the hills. Its pilot is no idiot, of course - if he accelerated immediately to full speed, the sonic boom created by him shattering the sound barrier would alert every enemy nearby to their location. Besides, even at 700/800 kmph, the Blue Falcon was actually surprisingly quiet. Other than a slight humming, that was barely noticeable even at close range, it was silent.

It didn't even take a second for him to speed off at the speeds he wanted. Leaving his companions little more than a memory, it certainly wasn't going to take long for him to arrive at a suitable position to scout the enemies - his incredible perception and police training was almost definitely going to give him a clear idea of what he should do to keep both himself and his machine out of sight.

(just in case, I shall hold an action to say if he is discovered, he returns back to the party - also, sorry for the delay)

The scout seemed in awe of the Blue Falcon. Even as a machine, it's previously stoic personality was giving way to a slightly curious one.
Nothing changed about the calm part though. The machine stood there for a few seconds.
Then, after those seconds, Pixels turned to Leone, pointing at her Sevens Sword, before projecting a holographic question mark. It did the same for Joseph's Javelin Gun.

Tetsuya was back at the Main Central's cockpit, where the heroes' chambers were located, and where they were released from for their supposedly urgent mission. Remaining on the voice transmission channel on the troupe's Sm@rt Radio System, just in case he was needed to speak to for tips in dire situations with no escape route in sight. He took notes of the abilities of each daring member of the Monarch's first assembly, having been silently impressed by his observations within the world of Windows XP as of recent. That being said, though, Future simply could not resist allowing his jaw to drop lightly in awe, and letting his seemingly organic eye glitch out notably for a moment, as he caught a sight of the Blue Falcon. The young man adulated. "Oooh... She's beautiful, Mr. Falcon. So sugoi..." He sent over the messaging system, his intact vision orb remaining wide.

As the renowned bounty hunter hopped into his fully equipped mach racer, and sealed himself in with a final salute, Tetsuya watched from his screen, and casually sipped from a bottle of lemon iced tea, as he soared through the hilly, green world of Microsoft at approximately 777 kilometres per hour, which certainly had to entail the best of luck for his next task! Apparently, he was scouting for enemies. Several regular Corrupted Scrap Files were seen along the path. In fact, they were quite plentiful, and could potentially overwhelm the heroes. A few new adversaries appeared, but the former policeman passed by them so quickly, he could not get a detailed look at them. Just a really blurry image. Unless his vision was sharp. Even then, there wasn't much detail on their physical being, so he couldn't really report back accurately.

Once he halted, however, a teenaged girl, who had red/black hair in long streaks, and was clad in orange-tinted sunglasses, a pink-washed bandana over her lower face and neck area, alongside a dirtied shirt of indeterminate color, with a beige, furred coat worn over it, and yoga pants, along with running shoes, was being held by the collar by a chuckling scrap file, who seemed to have features that resembled a helmet poorly made out of salvage, and a spiky punk mohawk. The gloved cursor hand held the girl firmly as she squirmed fruitlessly, as the file inched a Google Chrome-shaped sawblade towards her throat. She could only squeal nervously, unable to reach for the supplies in her backpack, or her seemingly personalized AR-15 rifle, which had been kicked away close to the Blue Falcon. "Aagh! H-Help! Anyone?! Please..." She began to lose hope dramatically, as two other similar files failed to notice the bounty hunter's presence.

Joseph held a feeling of positivity when it came to Captain Falcon; his personality resembling a comic book character to a T. Smiling underneath his large visor, Joseph duly noted, 'Someone like him is definitely what will hold this team together like glue.' As the group continued to follow the bounty hunter's lead at a much slower pace, Pixels began to display its interest in its comrades in arms. The advanced machine gestured at Leone and Joseph's weapons, probably in an attempt to understand how they function. "Wish I could tell you how this thing works, but that's not my forte." The Swede placed an arm behind his head. "I just grabbed it off of some dead engineer when I had no other weapon left; all I know is that it's originally for mining and surveying minerals." Unsure whether that half assed explanation would be satisfactory for the inquisitive machine, he tried to quickly think up anything else as a suitable substitute.

Unfortunately, the engineering-ignorant security guard could not find the proper words to do so; leading to him giving an awkward silence for a few seconds. Ultimately, Joseph gestured for Leone to quell Pixels' curiosity with her sword, in an attempt to steer its attention away from himself. His hastiness to bring himself to mental stability is definitely not caused by this conversation alone, Joseph realized. For some reason, he keeps feeling on edge, almost like there could anything around the group watching them; or at the very least him. "Eh, uh, sorry again, Pixels. Not really thinking straight right now; damned computer world is making me uncomfortable, I guess." Joseph apologized to the robot; though, deep down in his mind, he knew that couldn't be the right answer. 'When we get back, I've definitely gotta see if I can get some coffee or something.' Joseph told himself, making sure that he'll remember later on.

With the man and his odd thingmajig leaving the three, Leone noticed the gesture has done to get her attention. "Oh... right." The Empress gives the machine her full attention, turning over to look at it fully. Taking the Sevens Sword out of it's scabbard, Leone merely points it at Pixel with a little smirk on her face. "I don't know the full details of this darn blade, but this sword was found in the private armory from where I am from. Strange enough, I used to not being able to wield this thing... but after some 'events', the bloody thing decided it didn't want to be a pile of bricks when I pick it up." Soon, she puts the blade back into it's scabbard... looking rather agitated while doing so. "Sadly for me, when it ain't weighing like bricks... it seems to not be able to cut very well."

(sorry - im a Brit so my timezone is different :P)

Captain Falcon could see the enemies, albeit not very well, but he doubted they could see him zoom by. At these speeds, he was virtually invisible - at least, until he was so far away that it didn't matter whether they saw him or not. He chuckled as Tetsuya marvelled over his racer - he sounded like every teenager he had met. And some adults, too. "Yes, well...make sure you warn the others about those hostiles." Driving along, it was clear he was happy being back at the wheel. This is where the mighty Falcon belonged.

As he stopped at his destination, however, he saw a sight he did not like one bit - a girl about to have her throat slit by another one of those 'things'. She seemed fairly able, though, and he would wager that the gun that had been discarded near to him belongs to her. It didn't take him long to know what needed to be done - he's been in situations like these before during his police days, and they never ended well.

For them, at least. Without thinking, he ran up to the gun to pick it up then immediately crouched down into a familiar pose - the electrical energy flowing through his legs once more. This time, however, he wasn't aiming for the chest or the head, like he has been seen doing before, but instead he was aiming for the creatures hand that was holding the sawblade to the girl's throat. In doing that, Captain Falcon hoped, the blade would be knocked clean out of the file's hand with minimal damage done to the girl. (Move = Lightning Kick. Rolled a 13 to hit.)

It could've been a bit cleaner, but it worked. His foot landed directly on the thing's arm - causing electricity to surge through it - and the rest of his body collided with the file which would probably knock it away. (Rolling damage (since he isn't using the move to attack, but to defend, I imagine there might be a damage reduction or something?) - 13+2=15. Lightning Kick, before defence calculations, will do 3,375 Shock damage. Rolling for status - 28 - fail.)

Looking backwards, he gave her back the gun as he spoke. "You hurt?" Without even awaiting an answer, he backed away and began taunting the files. "Come on! Is that all you have? Show me your moves!" With that, he mentally prepared himself to Raptor Boost the first file that came near him. (Readied action = Raptor Boost)

(Nah. You're still using it all the same, so I think it should do the same damage.)

First Punk File attempting to dodge Lightning Kick: 11 - 2 from the PER penalty = 9. The dodge attempt failed.
Defending against Lightning Kick: 2 + 2 from attempted dodge + 1 from supposed higher DEF = 5. 12.5% bonus damage is inflicted. Total damage is 3797 Shock.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rolling for Falcon to hit the readied Raptor Boost: 5 + 0. It misses by a small margin.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First Punk File attempting to dodge Teen Rioter's AR-15 shots: 10 - 2 from the PER penalty = 8. The dodge attempt failed.
First Punk File defending against Teen Rioter's AR-15 shots: 5 + 2 + 1 = 8. 5% more damage taken.

Tetsuya sighed, as he witnessed Falcon quickly approaching his hotspot for conflict, even watching a few simple Corrupted Scrap Files be sent soaring with one final squeal, as they could not see the futuristic vehicle headed towards them, attributed mostly to its high speeds and silence. He heard the recommendation, and transmitted a response. "Got it. ... Hey, you guys! Those of you that are behind back at the mission drop zone! Do not advance." The young assistant of the Monarch AI warned. "There are countless of those... data things ahead. They're easily going to overwhelm you, so stay back until he returns. He's dealing with some rough 'n' tough enemies."

Up ahead, over the various small hills, the Punk File's hand, which had turned into the spinning Chrome sawblade, was inching closer to the girl's throat area. Her eyes widened, although most were unable to notice, as the stylish bounty hunter escaped his vehicle, grabbed her civilian rifle, and then Lightning Kicked the gritty file in the arm, electrifying it and dealing substantial damage, as it growled, having been pushed back from the notable force of the leg, and being pushed to morph its left cursor hand out of the razor mode. Nodding as Falcon gave her back the AR-15, the adolescent rose up, with the pink rifle, purple/grey woodland camouflage on the handguard, and a soiled Hello Kitty keychain hooked onto the front sling mount. "Thanks, man... Those things were wreckin' me. Now lemme' head back and give you some cover while you fight." She insisted, before running off about 12 metres and aiming the weapon from a crouched position.

Now, the Punk File's uncivilized and animalistic nature had hard-wired its mind to attack the taunting intergalactic racer, at all costs wanting to take him down. Rushing towards him with a pixelated, oversized pencil, the combination of rubbish code found itself narrowly avoiding a Raptor Boost uppercut, which ended up incinerating a regular Scrap File that had wandered too far whilst getting a view of the battle. Then, with the pencil, the hoodlum attempted to doodle harmful traces of black pixels towards Falcon, hoping that it'd hit.

Doodle-fest
Roll to hit: 14 + 0 = 14. The attack successfully hits, if no evasion attempt is made.
Damage roll: 4 + 2 from a supposed higher STR stat = 6. Base damage is 7,250 Corrupted. 10% penalty results in a total of 6,525 Corrupted damage.
Status roll: 73 + 0 = 73. A 10 or lower was needed. No status ailment is applied.

Observing the conflict at a safer distance than what she was just in, the rioter, who still had no clue how she got dragged into this creepy world of computer fantasy, tried to land a few well-aimed shots on the file the red-helmeted man was havin' a scrap with. It was only semi-automatic, so she fired it as fast as the tough trigger would allow her to. Luckily, even though she was just an adolescent girl, she had proper rifle training under her belt, so the recoil of a 5.56 wasn't throwing her off that much, even though she continuously fired for roughly two seconds.

AR-15 shots
Rolls for extra shots (per action fire rate is 5.5): 98 + 0, 59 + 0. Only 10 shots are fired.
Hit rolls: 17 + 1 / 12 + 1 / 16 + 1 / 10 + 1 / 17 + 1 / 20 + 1 / 3 + 1 / 13 + 1 / 4 + 1 / 5 + 1. 7 of the 10 shots miss. One of them is a guaranteed hit.
Damage calculation: 1,100 Kinetic x 7 = 7,700 Kinetic total damage if the attack isn't defended against or evaded.
12.5% bonus damage from the soft guard = 8,085 Kinetic damage total against the Punk File.

As a result of the sudden barrage, the Punk File was on the very verge of its death, the pencil vanishing from its hands. Though it possessed the will to fight back, it no longer had the energy. The other Punk Files were readying themselves for an attack on the two, but only observed for now.

It seemed satisfied with both explanations, though it did shoot the Javelin Gun one final look.
It looked around, at the hills. Interesting... even as a machine, it found this world rather interesting.

Slightly confused about what exactly he did hit with the Raptor Boost, since what he was aiming for was still, you know, alive even though he felt his fist contact something at full force and was standing right behind him, he watched as the creature began running at him with what looked like a makeshift pencil raised. (Rolling dodge - 17+2)

He smirked at the file's pathetic attempt to catch him off guard, as with one mighty leap the muscled man back-flipped over the pitiful attack, just as it got mowed down by machine gunfire. On the way down, rather than landing properly, he decided to instead slam both of his feet into the creature's head (imagine Captain Falcon's Down-Air in SSB). (Move - Regular kick - 10+0 = hit.)

Feeling his space age alloy boots, emblazoned with a similar falcon as the one on his red helmet, collide with the creature's head with a sickening crunch, possibly from the makeshift armour or perhaps from something important to its structure like a skull becoming dust under the force, Captain Falcon seemed satisfied, and stepped off. Judging from the barrage of bullets it had just faced, he had a feeling that it wasn't getting up from that one - at least, not for a while. Not until the other two files were dealt with in a timely matter. He could already feel the energy rushing to his fist. (Rolling damage - 3+2 = 5. Damage before defence calculation (and dodge) will be 437.5 Normal damage. Rolling Crit - 84. Nope.)

The seemingly mortally wounded file unlikely to attack anytime soon, he moved his attention to one of its allies. Quickly, the energy rushing to his hand turned into fire, as he screamed at the top of his lungs. "Falcon....PAAAAWNCH!" (Move - Falcon Punch - 7+0 = barely a hit, I believe?)

The file almost dodged the Punch, forcing Captain Falcon to adjust to clip it on the arm...thing...it had. Still, once it landed, there was little it could do to stop the fiery bird ruin its day. (Rolling damage - 11+2 = 13. Damage before defence calculation (and dodge) will be 9,675 Heat and 1,075 Blast Damage. Rolling burn chance - 67 - and rolling for crit - 45. Nope on both accounts.)

First Punk File defending against Falcon's air stomp: 4 + 2 from supposedly higher DEF = 6. 10% more damage, which totals to 577 Normal damage after Falcon's natural STR bonus is taken into account.
First Punk File defending against Teen Rioter's AR-15 shot: 10 + 2 from supposedly higher DEF = 12. 5% less damage, totaling to 990 Kinetic damage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Second Punk File defending against Falcon Punch: 15 + 2 from supposedly higher DEF = 17. 17.5% less damage. The result is 9678 Fire and 710 Blast damage after natural bonuses and penalties, which equals up to 10,388 total damage.

The pencil having been absent from its grasp, and its energy being sapped by the rapid fire of the semi-automatic rifle the teen shot at it a handful of times, the Punk File was exhausted, and lacked the ability to pose a worthwhile threat to either the mysterious rioter or the glorious bounty hunter, as it was on the very verge of being erased from existence. The corrupted, scrapped bundle of pixels groaned once more as those metal-booted feet slammed down with force into its gritty head, the very data that composed the monster of technology crunching up in an unhealthy way. The file was left laying on the grassy ground of Bliss now, writhing in a notorious amount of pain.

Then, from the safe spot she assumed, the colorful teenaged rioter was aligning the iron sights of her semi-automatic AR-15, which she brandished with all of its unique markings, on the mortally wounded Punk File. Once she had the shot steadied from her crouched position, the girl pulled the fairly-weighted trigger, which sent a round of 5.56 its way.

AR-15 shot
Hit roll: 8 + 1 from higher PER = 9. With the file not attempting to dodge, the shot hits.

Once it made impact with the file, who attempted to nudge towards the bullet in a last ditch effort to protect itself against it, the faulty data squealed, and surely fizzled away a few moments later. The masked girl celebrated with a subtle fist pump, at the success of her exploits. "Boo-yah!" As she took some downtime to remove the 20-round magazine from the long rifle, and replace it with a full one, now having 21 rounds loaded, thanks to one being loaded into the chamber, instead of a measly nine, she dedicated half of her attention on the fight ahead of her. A Falcon Punch from the mach racer barely collided with another rambunctious file's arm, pushing it back with significant physical force, due to the strength of the fiery fist, and the explosion it produced on impact.

Now that they had a chance to register that an attacker was in the area (they had somewhat forgotten about the young girl they had taken prisoner), the two rapscallion data bundles began an all-on assault on Captain Falcon. The second Punk File, the one nearest to him, and the one that had just been narrowly nailed by the special attack, rushed forward with a Google Chrome sawblade, swiping thrice at him without looking back. The third attacked from a further distance, sending a speeding cursor his way.

Superior Speed Spinblade
Hit rolls: 18 + 0, 4 + 0, 7 + 0. The first and third both hit (the latter barely) if not dodged, with the second going wide.
Damage rolls: 7 + 2 and 7 + 2. Base damage is 2,500 Sharp per hit. 2.5% damage penalty = 4,875 Sharp total if not avoided.
Status rolls: 83 + 0 and 66 + 0. A 5 or lower was needed. No status is applied.

Cursor Bullet
Hit roll: 6 + 0. The cursor whizzes past Falcon's head, by an inch.

CAPTAIN FALCON

Random Hill (not in motion)

Interacting with Rioter and 'interacting' with Punk Files ( AshuraaHunter AshuraaHunter )

His fist still shaking with power and his body still in the process of returning to normal, there was little Captain Falcon could against the first saw blade counterattack coming his way. In all honesty, the Captain wasn't expecting it - the files he had faced before simply turned to dust at the mere mention of his iconic move. As the blade slashed across his face and left a painful looking cut in it's wake, however, Captain Falcon woke up - the pain fuelling his rage and, in turn, his ki. With a simple wrist movement, the second attack found itself sailing past the Captain's head - who had a smirk on his face. He could see the anguish and anger in the creature's face - even with it having no real face - but it didn't last long. That first attack stung, and the bounty hunter was damned if he let it get by him. He could also see the third file preparing to fire presumably one of the bullets from his previous battle. As a result, he needed to dodge in order to avoid further damage. (Rolling dodge - Nat20 (+2) = Automatic dodge/free dodge)

Instead, however, the trained martial artist had a better idea. With a deft lunge of his hand, as if snakes inhabited the blue suit, Captain Falcon grabbed the blade, using raw strength to keep it in place, as he tilted it to deflect the incoming bullet. The look of shock and fear on the second file's face didn't last long, however, as Falcon thrusted a fiery uppercut into the creature. (Move = Raptor Boost - rolled a 9 to hit.)

With a scream of pain from the distraught thing, the fist landed into what would've been its gut. (Rolling damage - 7+2=9. Meaning that damage, before defence calculation and any dodges, is a grand ol' total of 3,900 Heat. Rolling for status - 13 - and crit - 24 - for a nope on both accounts. Close, though.)

After presuming that the second file was, like the first file, would either be so damaged it couldn't fight or be simply mopped up by his new ally and her primitive (to him) gun, Falcon turned his triangular covered eyes towards his next target. However, while most was expecting a simple punch or kick, Falcon knew that he needed to get the fight done quickly - he needed to get back to his group, and it was likely the fight was causing a few nearby files to take notice, like the one that he had mistakenly vaporised a few seconds before. So, instead of charging gung-ho into battle to simply punch the creature, his legs blazed up with fire as he Kicked his way to victory. (Move = Falcon Kick - 9 to hit. Guess I'm 9 boi today.)

Slamming the boot that had just almost crushed the skull of the first file into the creature's glitchy body, the heat of Falcon's ki engulfed it's body. (Rolling damage - 4+2 = 6. Therefore, a successful Falcon Kick will do a base of 3,600 Heat. Rolling for status - 39 - and crit - 96 - equals a massive load of nothing.)

Still, it didn't feel like enough. A sense of urgency, and a small amount of anger, spread across his face as he quickly unleashed another Kick, of the same variant, towards the same target. (Same move - 18 to hit. Rolling damage - 14+2 = 16 = 4,600 Heat. Rolling the d100s - 10, 64. Hey, the move managed to trigger a burn!)

This kick felt a lot better than the first one. Still, he didn't trust it would be enough - however, Falcon had drained quite a lot of ki in the last few moments. He didn't want to drain it all, since he had little idea what was next. Instead, he went for a grab in order for his companion to have an easier time hitting the file. (Rolling for chance to grab - 12. No idea what that means - I forgot :P. Just in case, have a strength role of 18+2 =20.)

Status check:
Falcon has 127,562 EDR, or 98.1% of his total health, remaining.
In addition, he has 24 PP for Lightning Kick, 18 for Falcon Punch, 21 for Falcon Kick, and 13 for Raptor Boost remaining.
Also, The Fabulous Emerald The Fabulous Emerald , you didn't defend against the first slash, so I just played as if you rolled a 10.

2nd Punk File attempting to evade Raptor Boost: 19 + 0. The attack misses.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3rd Punk File attempting to evade Falcon Kick 1: 6 + 0. It hits.
3rd Punk File defending against Falcon Kick 1: 2 + 2 from supposedly higher DEF + 1 from attempted dodge = 5. 12.5% more damage is taken, totaling up to 4,050 Heat damage.
3rd Punk File defending against Falcon Kick 2: 19 + 2 from supposedly higher DEF = 21. 27.5% less damage is taken, resulting in 3,335 Heat damage.
3rd Punk File defending against Teen Rioter's AR-15 shots: 7 + 2, 2 + 2, 19 + 2, and 19 + 2. Damage total, after calculations, is 3,999 Kinetic damage.
Burn damage = 11 + 0. 5% less = 4,050 Heat.

The foolish, yet rigid file, despite having the morphed sawblade being grasped by the human man before him, was not intimidated, and instead of squealing, growled, even though its physical appearance did not even feature a face. It fruitlessly attempted to swipe at the galactic bounty hunter again, but it went wide due to some distance being created between the two combatants. Then, even though Falcon was sure he had hit the Punk File he was bickering with, not verbally, but physically, he had not, as it managed to swiftly turn away from the attack, allowing yet another wandering runt to be obliterated by the uppercut. It seems as if they were finally getting on their game, which was likely an unpleasant shock for the blue-clad bounty hunter.

And then the third file, which was gazing at the melee from a few metres' distance, noticed that Falcon was now headed towards him, the space-age metallic boot enveloped in fire being sent its way. In an attempt to evade, the hoodlum shifted a bit, but was inevitably nailed by the attack, taking a fair amount of harm from the flaming impact, in addition. The ki energy that he possessed obviously turned out to be extremely efficient against the files, as it was growling in sharp pain once it regained its footing from the impact of the Falcon Kick.

As the formidable fighter confronting it rebounded from the impact of the initial, intense kick, the fool barely had time to realize another was coming its way. This attack, despite feeling more gratifying to the former officer, dealt less physical damage due to the file bracing itself for impact as a last resort, but within seconds, it was engulfed in flames, and growling in agony, as its data started to burn away in an unpleasant fashion. To put the cherry on top of the negativity cake, the file's hands were now being restrained behind its back in an unblockable grapple by Falcon, and it was open to attacks as its materials seared.

Rifle stock bash
Hit roll - 19 + 0. The attack landed successfully.
Damage roll - 9 + 0. Base damage is 3,000 Blunt, resulting in 2,925 Blunt damage total.

In a heroic move, the rioter dashed in like a soldier sprinting into battle from her stealthy spot, rolling behind the second file and proceeding to bash its 'helmet region' with the collapsible stock of her decorated, pink assault rifle, having jabbed it forward. Upon impact, an electric fizzle was heard, along with the file squealing in a deeper voice than the regular ones, as it was wiped out of existence. Then, she fired her AR-15 rapidly from the shoulder, so confident that all of her shots would hit her mark that she did not bother looking down the sights.

AR-15 shots
Hit rolls: 15 + 1 / 1 + 1 / 15 + 1 / 17 + 1 / 19 + 1. 4 of the 5 shots land.

One flew by at a raging speed of 950 metres per second, which was nothing out of the ordinary for a .223 to be firing. All of the others hit the file at full force, and it snarled angrily as they passed right through is lines of data, but oddly enough, did absolutely nothing to Falcon. There was no explanation for it, but it wasn't important right now. The young girl was sure that the burning would finish the file off - and she was right. The flames caused the file to quietly lose its life in Falcon's grasp, as it soon burned to a crisp.

Both files were now reduced to nothing, so they had nothing more to worry about, for now. The young girl sighed. "Gee whiz. You literally saved my life! When I literally got pulled into an old computer through a purple rift. Thanks, dude." She gushes verbally, before nudging her head over to the Blue Falcon, pulling the charging handle of her rifle in the meantime just in case a bullet was jammed in the chamber. "We should get going."

And now, rejoining the rest of the party, who spoke among themselves at the beginning of the trail as the bounty hunter handled the enemies, a new foe huffed, and puffed, behind them, stomping audibly and then proceeding to roar, as it was accompanied by two of the puny files from earlier. They had better been prepared for a fight. The large enemy, which was a huge, overpacked folder with stubby legs, arms, and a pixelated skiing helmet as a head, it hefted up a metallic, sprite blunderbuss-style weapon, and blasted it in the direction of Pixels, whom it interpreted as the biggest threat due to its armored and maneuverable appearance. A horde of spam mail was sent the Nano Suit's way, and it seemed hard to avoid.

Spam Cannon blast
Hit roll: 11 + 0. Without a successful dodge, the attack hits.
Pixels' defense roll: 13 - 4 due to a measly 3 DEF stat = 9. Considering natural defense penalties, the total damage taken from a base damage of 17,500 Corrupted attack is 24,216 Corrupted if not evaded successfully.

However, thankfully, after the blast, the monster seemed like it needed some time to rest itself after the recoil, and also needed to reload the weapon, which pretty much made it living target practice for the three heroes.

Pixels
"Sir! The interface... orange light! Pixels is under attack!"
The colonel turned to the interface, and analyzed the situation.
"1/5 of nanobot cohesion, gone in one shot? Pixels, evade that attack!"
The interface light turned green. Pixels sidestepped left and right with blinding speed, attempting to avoid the attack.
"C'mon, Overdrive Module... work!"
(1-100, 20 lower and Pixels gets a free move.)
(73. No free move, poor Pixels.)
DODGE: (attempting to roll right. Please roll for me if I did this wrong)
(Rolling out of 20)
(5 out of 20. +5 to roll. 10-Failed dodge... ouch.)
The colonel grimaced as the interface briefly turned static. 1/5 of Nanobot cohesion. Gone.
"Well... that was painful. Pixels, Psi Recon that large file, and return fire!"
The interface light briefly turned green, and flashed between red and green as Pixels got up from the blast, clearly wounded.
It pointed at the large file, and all allies saw a psionic bullseye on the file.
(Out of 20, 1-16 success)
(13. Success)
Pixels then opened fire on the file.
(2 actions spent on shooting)
(First rolls-6, 8, 16, 9, 6, 16. All hit.)
(Second rolls-1, 19, 20, 3, 13, 15. 4 hit.)

Leone's eyes light up as she saw Pixel getting hit by some weird looking blast energy. Turning around and drawing the Sevens Sword from it's scabbard, the young empress looks over to the distance to see the most bizarre creature she had ever laid eyes on. Regardless, Leone holds the Sevens Sword up into the skies, closing her eyes and soon reopening them. "This time I better not miss..." Leone thought to herself as she twirls around and sent out a wave of energy from her sword. "Mach Blade!"

CAPTAIN FALCON

On Route to Party

Driving with Rioter ( AshuraaHunter AshuraaHunter )

There were only two things that Captain Falcon truly loved in this world - well, in these worlds - and that wasn't like most men who loved money, women, food or some strange combination of the three. No, he was a man of simpler, yet more complex, loves - racing beyond mach speeds, and fighting. Some say he was born for it, which, when considering the amazing abilities he can perform, would be easily believable. All that was known was that he was good at it, and it was going to have to take more than a few misshapen lines of code to break him. There was almost an elegance to the way he fought - from how he bounced from one target to the next, dealing hefty damage to all those who oppose him was almost like a figure skater. A fiery, strong, muscled figure skater with metal boots as opposed to delicate skates.

In truth, however, he had no idea whether or not the girl's bullets were going to penetrate the file's body - he had never seen such out of date technology - except maybe the old relic that Samurai Goroh insists on carrying around - so he had little to no idea what was going to happen. He sighed a breath of relief as he didn't feel four bullets cut into his body, and released his grip as he felt what he was holding dissipate into that strange digitalized dust that he had seen many times before.

As the girl spoke to him, now that their foes were nothing more than whispers on the virtual wind, he relaxed somewhat. He allowed the ki to finally settle within himself, and with a deep breath he was calm once again. "I think we agree. Come on, let's go." With that, he opened the latch to his machine once again and hopped in but instead of speeding off, he waited for his new ally to join him. While most don't suspect, the Blue Falcon was actually equipped with a second seat - he supposed that at mach speeds, a few extra kilograms weren't going to do much to the overall speed. The inside of the Blue Falcon was like a jet - down to the seats, that were one behind the other - and the dashboard showing odd images and strange buttons. At least, Captain Falcon always thought, strange to everyone except him. To him, those buttons were like a sailor's boat, an engineer's tools, a artist's brush. They were useless in anyone's hands except his own. "So," the blue outfitted man commented, "you're a bit young to be able to use that...gun."

(btw, GearBlade654 GearBlade654 Angelostar4 Angelostar4 BlightGiver BlightGiver , C.Falcon isn't in the action yet so you won't need to wait)

While the Captain was still separated, Joesph and his comrades found themselves under attack by more junk files and a folder that really needed to hit the gym. "If we're in an actual computer, it's owner has really got to do some spring cleaning!" He shouted, as Pixels was shot by the fat folder's low resolution weapon. Thankfully, whatever that weapon uses for firing, it's recoil is enough to stall the huge enemy long enough for everyone else to attack. Aside from the smaller files, the team had a slight moment of reprieve to gather themselves. Looking over at the hit robot, the Swede did a quick check in, "Pixels, you alright there, bud?" The mechanic marvel need not say anything, for it's ability to tank the blast and launch a fierce attack of its own demonstrated it's completely fine. "Good to know." Joseph sighed. Leone also did an attack of her own on the huge brute; 'If everyone's attacking this obese junk at the same time, we'll kill it in no time.' He deduced.

Joseph wasted no time, sprinting at the folder with his batons equipped.
(Rolled 17 for successful hit. First hit rolled 2, meaning only 150 blunt damage. Second hit rolled 13, meaning 806 blunt damage. Considering folder armored due to size, rolled 36, no status.)

Unfortunately, Joseph nearly lost grip of his left baton while swinging, making one of his hits have less force. "Well, crap." He sighed again, gearing up for more strikes.
(Rolled 3 for unsuccessful hit.)

During the middle of that last swing, Joseph slipped on the too perfect grass, falling to his rear. "Gaah, son of a...!" He struggled to recall military training on keeping yourself mentally focused during combat. The Swede decided that his puny batons would do nothing to the huge folder; stepping back, Joseph pulled out his javelin gun once more and fired at the hulking foe.

(Rolled 11 for successful hit. Folder takes 8250 puncture damage. Roll for status pindown, 43. No status inflicted.)

Folder takes 956 blunt damage and 8250 puncture damage. Total damage is 9206 if it doesn't evade. Joseph's EDR is still at 179,328. (Just putting this to make it easier for me to remember.)

PP status
Cat - 28/30 for Mach Blade
Falcon - 24/25 for Lightning Kick, 18/20 for Falcon Punch, 21/25 for Falcon Kick, and 13/15 for Raptor Boost
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PS, to Joseph: You rolled a 2 on the first baton swing. This results in 20% damage lost, which totals to 600 Blunt, not 150.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Accuracy of Pixels' Laser Rifle = +1 due to Temporary Augmenting Module (4 turns left)
This subtracts 1 point from all accuracy rolls. Still, only 10 of the 12 lasers hit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rolling for Cat's Mach Blade: 16 + 2 due to 15 PER = 18. The attack successfully hits.
Physical damage: 17 + 2 due to 14 STR = 19. 8,000 Sharp base + 20% due to natural bonuses = 9,600 + 22.5% thanks to dice roll = 11,760 Sharp damage. Holy cow!
Magical damage: 19 - 4 due to 3 ECH = 15. 2,000 Magic damage - 35% due to natural penalties = 1,300 + 12.5% thanks to dice roll = 1,463 Magic damage.
Total damage inflicted equals 13,223.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Defense calculations:
Junk Folder defending against Pixel's Laser Rifle: 11 + 0, 7 + 0, 10 + 0, 8 + 0, 6 + 0, 15 + 0, 6 + 0, 14 + 0, 10 + 0, and 13 + 0. Total damage after calculations is 6,000 Heat.
Junk Folder defending against Mach Blade (physical): 17 + 2 (would have been +3, but Psi Recon produced a -2 DEF penalty) = 19. 11,760 - 22.5% = 9,114 Sharp damage inflicted. No bonus resistance, since natural stat bonuses/penalties are not considered for NPCs.
Junk Folder defending against Mach Blade (magical): 7 + 0 = 7. 1,463 + 7.5% = 1,573 Magic damage.
In total, Mach Blade deals 10,687 damage to the Folder.
Junk Folder defending against Joe's batons: 8 + 2 and 4 + 2. Total damage inflicted after calculations is 1,466 Blunt damage.
Junk Folder defending against Joe's Javelin Gun: 11 + 2 = 13. 8,250 - 7.5% = 7,631 Puncture damage.
Total damage sustained this turn is 25,784.

The messy, sub-par quality folder, which was overflowing with computer files that had been overtaken by the Corruption, or just materials scrapped from the operating system's development, squealed in pain in its deep voice and stumbled back immensely, as, not only did the Psi Recon ability the Nano Suit possessed decreased how reliable its weapon would be, and decreased its physical defenses notably, but it also sustained a huge portion of damage, between being showered in green beams from the Laser Rifle Pixels held, to the speeding, long-range slash that the Empress sent its way, and finally getting bashed by the Swede's batons and shot by the mining tool he wielded as a ranged arm, the javelin penetrating the armour that its folder possessed and jabbing throughout the files that kept it alive and kicking, protruding out its back as well. It barely managed to cram into its digitized boomstick a bunch of digital envelopes, jam-packed with spam ranging from claims of hot Russian singles wanting to date close to the owner, to the old Nigerian prince scam. Once its low-resolution weapon had been filled, it sealed the trumpet-esque barrel, and roared as it prepared to attack once more. "Jeez, that thing can still fight?!" Future exclaimed with shock and confusion, as the messy folder rose through the pain, ready to fight on. The reticle that marked the Corrupted Scrap Junk Folder disappeared, signalling that its effects have subsided. "Uhh... Needless to say, I think you guys have gotten an adequate first taste of what you're going to experience. We'll be extracting you from the mission pretty soon, as I have detected a shutdown process that will kill you if you don't get out of the system in time." Tetsuya broadcasted. "Err, that bein' said, you will be coming back relatively soon. This place is really untidy."

Back to the scene at the hills with the glorious bounty hunter and his new, rebellious ally, she smiled under the muddy, pink bandana that she wore as a mask as she was invited to come along for a ride inside the Blue Falcon, hoping that it would be possible to return to her native world relatively soon. Setting her rifle on safe, the only other option besides semi-automatic, she hopped in agilely, setting the 5.56-chambered gun on her lap, as she waited, semi-patiently, for the aircraft-esque racer to take off. As much as the teen rioter wanted to shoot at the hundreds of puny scrap files she could spot in the distance, she kept in mind that she needed to stay sealed within the vehicle, and that it was likely capable of running over several of the files into an oblivion. The girl was just as thankful for Falcon barely being harmed by the brief conflict, as her bullets had no effect against him, oddly. "Ah, I see you've got a new friend here, huh?" Tetsuya inquired, over the SRS. The rioter squealed briefly. "Gah! Who the hell is that?!" Then, he chuckled over the system. "I'm Future. I watch over these guys during their missions. The Sm@rt Radio System, once it's hooked onto a hero, displays a first-person perspective for me on one of my multitude of computer screens! Think of it as spectating another player once you die in a video game." Being all too familiar with the comparison that the man made, the young girl nodded her head. "Ah, I see. So what's in store for me once I get out of this world, if that's even possible?" And he responded, after a short 2-second delay. "You'll be kept on the Main Central ship for a while, with the rest of the team." She questioned what that could potentially entail, but her train of thought was derailed by Falcon's question, which she wasted no time replying to. "Legally? Yes. But physically? Heck no! I've been taking firearm lessons from professionals since I was 12. Gotta' know how to use them when you're part of a riot group, like I am. Or if you're stranded on an island when literally everything else is out for your blood. Really, there's a lot of applicable scenarios."

Meanwhile, as the remaining three prestigious combatants fended off the humongous folder of garbage files, and its two not-so-bulky companions, the allies of the Junk Folder finally decided that it was time to initiate an offensive. One of the files lunged at the thief Leone, attempting to grab onto her head in order to transmit a harmful Corruption sample throughout her mind.

Insane Transfer
Hit roll: 14 + 0 = 14. The attack is a successful hit, if Cat doesn't bother with a dodge attempt.
Damage roll: 7 + 0 = 7. Base damage is 8,000 Corrupted; -7.5% = 7,400 Corrupted.
Status chance: d100 = 75 + 0. A 10 or lower was needed. No status ailment is inflicted.

The secondary file watched as its 'senior guardian' prepared for battle, but then proceeded to send a precise cursor speeding towards Slick Joe, enraged at the soldier mainly because he seemingly did the most damage to the Junk Folder, which was emerging from its break from combat just now. The near miss that resulted from some external force, however, caused the file to swear in some illegible, gibberish language, in that irritatingly high-pitched voice it spoke in.

Cursor Bullet
Hit roll: 5 + 0. Once again, the cursor swerves off target, unintentionally.

Pixels
Pixel's response was to cause the interface near Tetsuya to flash multiple times. It was in Morse code.
And it translated to "Seriously?"
The Colonel and Lieutenant analyzed the situation. As much as they wanted to blast the file attacking Leone, they noticed the giant file preparing to attack again.
"Pixels, I only have a single order."
"Finish that giant file off."
The interface glowed gold.
"That translates to "With pleasure."
Pixels aimed the rifle at the giant file, and fired bursts of energy at the giant file.
(20 or lower out of 100 to gain a 5th action. 16-success.)
"Well, now that thing decides to activate! Alright Pixels! Obliterate that thing!"
(30 shots towards the giant file. 3 or higher to hit I believe considering the targeting module.)
(First blast=5, 9, 2, 10, 16, 10. 5 hit.)
(Second blast=20, 16, 12, 2, 15, 11. 5 hit.)
(Third blast=9, 3, 11, 15, 5, 7. All hit.)
(Fourth blast=17, 15, 8, 18, 11, 20. All hit.)
(Fifth blast=12, 12, 20, 7, 19, 10. All hit.)
(Total 28 hits. Talk about luck.)

After the damage was done to the file with the Mach Blade, Leone's eyes widen upon seeing the monster is still up and about, not too mention that it's running right towards her with it's palms opened. "Tch... dang it all!" Leone said under her breath, grasping the Sevens Sword tightly as she attempts to avoid being grabbed by the monster, by hopping backwards just a bit.
