My Interest Check
Hi! Personally, I dislike overly long recruitment threads, so I'll try to be (relatively) concise here. I'm actually a chatty person, but this feels like I'm just screaming into the void and it makes me vaguely uncomfortable, haha. But anyway. What am I looking for?

- Someone with a passion for writing. I like pretty words and good syntax, and it would be nice to write with someone who appreciates the same things. I don't care about post length that much; I write anywhere from 300 to 1000+ words depending on the situation. As long as you move the story forward and your writing is pleasant to read, we're good. (A sidenote: If you're interested in a sample, just stalk my profile. Most of my rps are public.)

- FxF. Yeah, I don't really roleplay anything else. If you aren't keen on that, please move along.

- 18+. I'm in my twenties and it would be strange to roleplay out certain scenarios with younger roleplayers. Sorry, friends.

- Romance, but the slowburn kind. In other words, I'm enemies to lovers trash. I also love fucked up scenarios, though I draw a line at abusive relationships. I don't enjoy that shit. What I enjoy is when the characters are fundamentally compatible on some level (usually personality, interests, sense of humor etc. etc.) but external circumstances make their relationship... complicated, to say the least. That's my jam, none of that 'and then she fell in love because Stockholm syndrome, and oh, also because her abuser is hot.'

- That said, I do like power imbalances and dark themes, but only as a source of drama/obstacles to the relationship rather than it being the foundation of that relationship, you feel me?

- Plot. The plot is kinda important to me as well. I mean, you can't really write 1000+ posts about the characters staring into each other's eyes lovingly, now can you?

- Frequency. One post a week is fine. I can usually handle more, but sometimes I get busy. You def will get at least that post a week, though! Of course, life happens and I am understanding, so it's not like I'll ditch you if you happen to fall behind a little bit. It's just that I want the plot to go somewhere and I have a hard time getting invested when you post once a month consistently.

...okay, that ended up longer than I expected it to get.

Now, the pairings: or rather, some situations for us to explore together. I don't tend to develop huge, intricate plots to throw at my partners because it's more involving to plan a story together, I think. Actually, have a wordbank:

Space Smugglers | Enemies to Lovers | Haunted Mansions | Alien Worlds | Reality Breaking Apart | Gay Mythology | Conspiracies | Vampires |

I think it would be interesting to roleplay as newly made vampire and her 'creator,' so to speak. The scenario I'm imagining is that the two were sort-of-friends before the conversion, and then the human almost died in some accident/whatever and the vampire saved her by turning her without her consent. The former human is justifiably pissed off, but they're sort of stuck together now because the vampire is responsible for her creation and they have to navigate the complex world of vampire politics now.

A mage and her familiar, sort of. This takes place in a world where mages/magic users are a privileged class and familiars are... people, basically, who have been bound to their mages since their childhoods and have to serve them. The plot twist here is that the mage in question has no real magical abilities despite coming from one of the most powerful clans while her familiar has great affinity for all things magical. Once the family discovers that their golden child is useless, they try to kill her, and so she has to flee (along with her familiar who must continue to protect her as her mage's death would mean her death as well.) The two try to find their place in the world.

Something about a righteous paladin accidentally promising to serve a goddess of chaos in her mortal form? Maybe she was cast down from the heavens for the mischief she caused and now she has to go on a holy pilgrimage to restore her powers or something like that. Adventure and comedy vibes for this one, although I can also see it getting more serious at times.

Rebellion! Likely in a cyberpunk setting, with one of our characters being a member of the rebellion (duh) and the other a conflicted member of the oppressive police force. A cliche

Well, that's it! PM me if you're interested.
