NecroKnight
Former Elite Death Knight of Decay
Mr. Zero, Metropolis, Star Labs
"Hmm. Wait a moment. Perhaps you are right on that regard," said Victor, gesturing with his hand to stop what they were doing, for a moment. Appearing to be in-thought, but in truth he was thinking over what Batman had just sent him. The plus side of wearing a helmet that looked like he had a bucket on his head, was that he could receive both information inside his helmet without others being none the wise outside.
"Correct. If something went wrong, we could end up with Metropolis without any data network at all. My mistake...I hadn't factored that in...give me a second to think this..." replied Victor, as he soon got an even better idea - that would be even less brutal than what he had. Namely he got the idea by looking outside at the Daily Planet globe. Then he pointed there. "That. News. They carry small dishes on their vans and could be easily hijacked for our investigation. We could run a small test with a few of them," he replied, soon starting to look up the frequency that the Daily Planet had registered for its news network.
Soon enough, he shared the frequency with the others. "The Daily Planet planned on reporting on several kidnapping locations anyway - so, if we inserted the jammer program. Per say have it run in 0.1 second intervals - then none of them would notice the difference. While their vans move around the city, we could have the satellite keep scanning around the city..." he explained - it would work better than what even Batman had suggested. Since he had only one car for his work - while the Daily Planet had half a dozen, running around and scanning the city.
"The worst that could happen - is today' news will be experiencing some lag and perhaps some technical difficulty," replied Victor. It was less brutal than his satellite idea, and it didn't run the risk of the entire city suddenly going dark or infected. For this to work though, everybody needed to follow a 'van' - Victor for his own sake took the frequency of Batman' car. As he was certain, that Batman wouldn't want himself ousted of having proposed this idea. The Dark Knight made enough governmental organizations paranoid for his taste.
"Alright then...you alien, show me where you are hiding..." he commented.
