* Superhuman Speed *
Scarlet's primary super power is super speed, which she gets from tapping into the Speed Force. When she runs, she generates the Speed Force so she is the engine. Everything around her slows down, but she can still make out crimes/people and can even manage talking while moving in super speed.

Her theoretical prowess with the Speed Force suggests her to run faster than the Speed of Light, but it is possible that she is capable of moving beyond even that. Anything beyond Mach 10 would pose a danger to her surrounding environment.

Speed Force Generator
Scarlet generates the Speed Force whenever she runs, unlike others, she doesn't just tap into it. Every time Scar runs someone in time can access the Speed Force.

Phasing/Making Objects Explode
Scarlet Allen can control her body at the molecular level, allowing her to vibrate her body through solid objects. While in this intangible state, she is able to breathe and is immune to any airborne viruses. She is also able to vibrate so fast that light doesn't reflect off of her, rendering her invisible to the human eye. She retains sight even in this state. She can also extend this ability to solid objects and phase them through other matter. Though the larger the object the more tired she becomes.

Superhuman Agility
Scar's bodily coordination, balance, and dexterity are heightened to levels far beyond that of a normal human, granting her superhuman agility.

Superhuman Stamina
She has nearly infinite endurance. She can run for very long periods of time. In theory of relativity, she could run forever.

Superhuman Reflexes
Scar's reflexes are far superior to those of any normal human, allowing her to instantly react to any danger.

Air Vortexes
Related to her super speed, Scar Allen is able to run in a circle and create a vortex. This vortex can be used for numerous purposes, such as pulling air out of the center to suffocate an enemy, levitating whatever is in the center, send a person in the center to another dimension, funnel toxic gases, and create a barrier, among other uses. She is also able to create tornado-like winds by spinning his her quickly, and can use these to various effects, usually offensive.

Afterimage
If Scarlet moves fast enough she can create afterimages or a "speed mirage".

Regenerative Healing
Scarlet possesses a highly accelerated healing factor that allows her to quickly regenerate from most severe injuries.

Speed Force Aura
A required secondary power tied to the speed, Scar Allen's body is surrounded by what she refers to as the "Speed Force aura," which can absorb kinetic energy. This aura protects her and anyone she is carrying from the effects of the speed, especially the effects of friction and airborne particulate matter. It also grants her superhuman durability, preventing her from sustaining injury from high-speed impacts and gives her a higher resistance to injury.

Lightning Generation
Scarlet generates great amounts of electrical Speed Force energy from her body. This causes metal to react strange around him, as it conducts the metal. She can also project bolts of electricity from her hands, and generate lightning from her hands. This is limited however.

Enhanced Intelligence
Scar Allen's brain moves as fast as she does, meaning she is able to think extremely quickly. She is able to read a book at super speed, and retains this information in his short term memory just long enough to implement whatever she has learned. She is also a skilled forensic scientist, proven to be very knowledgeable in criminology and chemistry. She is able to alter her perceptions in such a way that time appears to pass differently for her. In the span of a second she may have experienced years, and been able to alter elements of her environment while the time was passing, such as replacing a falling object or disarming an opponents weapon within a blink of an eye and also faster. Using this sort of "super brain" ability, she is able to calculate multiple consequences of her actions, and act on it in a mere second.

Speed Force Travel
She can go into the Speed Force and control it. People can gain Speed Force based powers if they go into the Speed Force. Space displacement and wormhole generation are very common aspects of this ability.

Time/Dimensional Travel
At times, Scar Allen will be able to travel through time, and the ability to vibrate into other dimensions.

Decelerated Aging
She ages slower because of the Speed Force, and so do people close to her.

Telepathic Immunity
Scar thinks at light speed, making her capable of defending vs mind control.

Infinite Mass Punch and Punching Much Faster Than Light
If she runs fast enough (near speed of light) she gains the relative mass of a white dwarf star, letting her punch hard enough to knock a person from Mount Rushmore to Africa with one punch. Her durability is automatically controlled by the Speed Force so he doesn't hurt her hand. She can punch much faster than light as well.

Superhuman Durability
Scar Allen, thanks to the speed force's protection, has superhuman durability being able to withstand much faster than light punches, and even a wave of antimatter that was going to destroy her cell structure.

Investigation
Her forensic science makes her a very capable detective, probably second to only The Batman.

Indomitable will
Genius level intellect

Bio

Scarlet Henrietta Allen is the daughter of Nora Allen, an optimistic farmgirl, and Henry Allen, a doctor that was living in Fallville, Iowa. After she and her twin brother Malcolm were born two weeks late during a storm one night, both parents are informed that the latter son is stillborn by their mother's doctor. Despite the bond between her parents being cemented because of them, the lateness of their birth would eventually play an important role in Scar's bad habit of always being late. They moved to Central City, USA shortly after.

She grew up reading comics books about her favorite superhero Jay Garrick, aka The Flash, some believing that he was once a real hero, and she used to act out many of his adventures with most of her friends, including her childhood sweetheart Dak Dean. By age eleven though, her life took a very grave turn. Scarlet's father was killed, and her mother was wrongly tried and convicted for the murder, later rotting in prison as Scarlet watched her, and still does to this day. However, the young Allen refused to believe that her mother was guilty of the crime. Her life ground to a halt as she dedicated herself to finding the real murderer and, more importantly, finding the motive behind the murder. Because of this, Allen studied forensic science, and dedicated herself to solving not only her dad's case, but those of other people in her situation. She graduated top honors and received a full ride to Central State University in Central City, where she studies Biochemistry with a focus on forensics. She's damn good at what she does, and when she's passionate about something, she'll never stop chasing it. But one thing she can't run from, is destiny. And it was coming faster than the eye could glimpse.
Soon.

Batman

michael-broussard-batsuit-techas.jpg
(Basic designs for Batman's most common suit.)

General Information

Name: Bruce Thomas Wayne

Nicknames: Master Bruce (Alfred), Rich Boy (Derogatory), Gotham's most eligible bachelor

Alias: Batman, The Batman, The Dark Knight, The Bat Vigilante, The Bat, The World's Greatest Detective

Identity: Secret. Known only by Alfred Pennyworth, Lucious Fox and Richard Grayson.

Age: 38

Gender: Male

Height: 6'2

Weight: 220lbs

Eyes: Crystal Blue (Solid White with his cowl)

Hair: Black

Occupation: CEO of Wayne Industries, including Wayne Tech

Personal Net Worth: $9,200,000,000.00

Education: In his quest to become the vigilante he is today, Bruce Wayne has attended courses at Cambridge, Sorbonne, Harvard, Yale, and several other universities, however he would never stay too long at any of them, usually dropping out after the first semester. He has also learned various practical skills abroad, including man hunting under the infamous "Henri Ducard", as well as stealth and fighting tactics from the even more infamous "League of Assassins".

Personality

batman__concept__by_jasric-d6oje3i.jpg

Personality Goods: Though he may not always show it, Bruce does genuinely care about other people. Despite his gruff and brooding exterior, he would risk his life for a stranger without a moments hesitation. He is also known as "the world's greatest detective" for a reason. He is a very intelligent and driven individual, being gifted in both deductive reasoning as well as tactical planning. Bruce NEVER goes into a fight unprepared. His willpower is also just short of superhuman levels of stubborn, though this can be an asset as well as a negative.

Personality Bad: Bruce's intelligent mind is quite the double edged sword, as he can be considered to be paranoid. He is always suspicious of all those save for a very short list of people, and is VERY slow to trust. His obsessiveness can also take a serious toll on his body, causing him to constantly suffer from sleep depravation among other things. Bruce also has this tenacy to want to solve everything himself, likely due to a sub conscious need too keep everyone safe. He will often even shut out his own partner, Robin, out of fear that he wouldn't be capable of protecting him if the situation were to turn ugly. Bruce is also quite blunt, and is not afraid to speak his mind. This often leads to others finding him to be humorless and rude, when in reality a nearly 10 year career of being a vigilante has simply made Bruce tired of dancing around the issue.

Also, while he is supremely skilled, he can sometimes overestimate his own abilities, landing him into some ridiculously dangerous situations.

Fears: While Bruce has learned to be fairly unshakeable throughout the years, he is not completely without any fears. Perhaps his greatest fear is that he will one day cross the line, lose himself, and become the very thing he has been fighting against for nearly ten years. He is also fearful that his actions will lead to those he cares about paying the price. He is also quite weary of this new "Supergirl", fearing that if she decided to turn to evil, that there would be very little he could do to stop her.

On a lesser note, he is ironically quite terrified of bats. This is the reason he has taken the bat as his image, as a way to conquer his own fears and unleash them onto the criminals of Gotham.

Quirks/Habits: Bruce tends to unintentionally glare at people when he is thinking. This can often times been seen as... Disturbing.

Skills/Talents: Bruce Wayne is a master at hand to hand combat, ranking among some of the best in the entire world, though he isn't infallible. He is also a remarkably giften detective and tactician. His stealth abilities are also quite remarkable. Being taught by the legendary League of Assassins, Bruce is able to completely lose himself in almost any room, to the point where even super humans would have a difficult time spotting him. He is also fluent in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese as well as Mandarin and Cantonese.

While he is no superhuman in terms of his physical body, Bruce has trained himself to be nearly the peak of human performance.

Interests: While Bruce normally has a fairly one tracked mind, there are a few other things he has shown interest in. Being Batman is clearly his obsession, however Bruce also enjoys going to the theater, as it reminds him of when he and his parents used to go. He has also enjoyed various old films, as well as his time at several Gotham city casinos. His interests aren't exactly what you would call normal, as Bruce tends to be a bit of a loner.

Likes: While he may not always agree with you, Bruce appreciates straightforwardness. He will often get annoyed if you refuse to take a situation seriously, or like to beat around the bush. He also enjoys training, reading books, and tinkering with his various array of complex gadgets.

Dislikes: Those who cant seem to take anything seriously, and he has a very low tolerance for the naive. In his mind, he is not here to coddle you, if you don't know what you're doing you should just stay out of it.

Abilities

98fa53f79eaf627a07428fca3a7b33a9-d3hodtj.png
(Bruce very early in his vigilante career, before taking up the mantle of the Bat)

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good

Though Batman possesses no superhuman abilities, he is far from helpless.

- Bruce is supremely skilled at hand to hand combat.
- He is a tactical thinker and great planner, though is also more than capable of thinking on the fly.
- Bruce possesses peak human strength, endurance, speed and reflexes.
- His stealth abilities are nearly unmatched.
- Batman also possesses a wide variety of expensive and experimental gadgets.

Equipment
-Batarangs (Collapsible bat shaped shuriken), including regular, shock, explosive, remote controlled and cryo.
-Wrist mounded grappling hook, high powered with grapnel boosters. With this, Batman can launch himself to the tops of buildings with incredible speeds.
-Remote controlled hacking device. A small portable computer that is essentially able to hack almost anything with a circuit board, even from a distance.
-A small dart gun, no bigger than an index finger. Most useful at point blank range, though it does have limited ranged abilities. Non lethal toxins coating the darts can cause the average human to lose consciousness in less than three seconds. The darts themselves are no longer than a fingernail.
-Built in tasers in each gauntlet, as well as a projectile taser.
-Smoke pellets, able to produce a large area of dense smoke in less than a few seconds. These also come in knockout and tear gas variants.
-Remote controller for the Batmobile, allowing him to call and even control the Batmobile from a distance, though this is limited.
-Glue grenades. When they explode, they coat the area in a powerful, fast drying adhesive that is very tough.
-A small, collapsible blow torch. High powered, though quick burning with limited fuel.
-A compact, basic flashlight.
-Basic first aid equipment. Limited to simple anti toxins and blood coagulants for bare minimum medical aid in the field. Essentially, just enough to ensure Bruce is unlikely to bleed out in the field.
-Miniature tool kit, with basic supplies such as wire cutters, evidence bags and blood vials.
-Small sonic emitters, no bigger than a common penny. If placed against the temples, they will cause extreme nausea, and even unconsciousness if not removed quickly.
-Inferred and night vision built into his cowl, as well as a heart beat sensor. This heart beat sensor can also be used as a make shift lie detector.

-His cowl also comes with a re-breather attachment to protect him from harmful chemicals, or so that he can breathe underwater/low oxygen environments for a short time.

-His armor is made from a lightweight material that is resistant to knives, blunt force trauma, as well as providing limited protection against gunfire. The Bat symbol on his chest is actually a trick, meant to stand out and fool attackers into aiming there, when in reality it is the strongest point on his suit. As well as being tough, his suit also masks his heat signature, making him almost impossible to spot with thermal goggles. His cape is also not just for decoration, it is made out of a light flexable material that allows him to glide short distances. Combined with the grappling hook, Batman can appear as if he can fly all over the city.

BATMOBILE
Batman_v_Superman_Dawn_Justice_Concept_Art_EN_Batmobile_01.jpg
(Perhaps the most infamous and most expensive thing in the Batman's arsenal, the Batmobile is much more than a simple car.)
-Costing a staggering $1,003,000,000.00, the Batmobile is truly a one of a kind vehicle, and much more than a simple car. The Batmobile is equipped with twin linked Vulcan machine guns (loaded with non lethal rubber bullets), several grenade launchers that can deploy smoke and gas grenades, a large 60mm cannon used for clearing debris (or perhaps firing at meta humans), as well as multiple homing missles for dealing with more durable threats. It also can emit a sonic pulse for crowd control, enough to rupture eardrums, but not enough to kill.

-The Batmobile is also equipped with a short ranged but powerful EMP device (The Batmobile itself, as well as Bruce's own equipment are immune to this EMP pulse). It is also capable of limited hacking abilities, able to hack into simple drones and other electronics, such as street lights.

-The Batmobile's armor consists of very heavy armor plating, rendering it pretty much completely immune to small arms fire. The tires are also pretty well immune to being shot out, save for the most high caliber armor piercing bullets.
-An on board security system is linked with Bruce's own suit, allowing him to have limited remote control over the Batmobile even when not physically driving it. This also means that anybody stupid enough to try and break into the Batmobile will receive a fairly nasty electrical shock.

-Last but not least, the Batmobile is fitted with a high powered ejector seat, meaning that at any time, Batman can launch himself out of the car into the air.

Bio
As a young child, Bruce Wayne watched his parents murdered before his eyes. Thomas and Martha Wayne were walking home from the Monarch Theater one night with their son, when they were held up at gunpoint by a mugger who demanded the pearl necklace that Martha was wearing. When Dr. Wayne refused to surrender it, both he and Martha were shot dead in the streets.

The killer was a criminal known as Joe Chill. Fortunately, physician and social worker Leslie Thomkins was making a house call that night, and arrived to give loving comfort to the traumatized Bruce. He was then raised on the Wayne Manor estate, with help from the wise and loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Bruce had very few friends during his childhood.

Bruce Wayne returned to Gotham after many years of study and training with his body and mind developed to perfection. Despite having all of the skills and methods to fight crime, he still felt that there was something missing in the completion of his physical and mental arsenal. Wayne discovered the answer late one night while sitting in his manor. He recalled his fear of bats as a child after a large one crashed through one of the windows; he ultimately decided to make his appearance resemble a bat's. Wayne designed himself a costume equipped with experimental technology and set out against the crime and corruption that thrived in Gotham City.

It has been nearly ten years since Bruce began his one man war on crime, and he has become quite the legend in the streets of Gotham.

"Gotham City. Clean shafts of concrete and snowy rooftops. The work of men who died generations ago. From here, it looks like an achievement. From here, you can't see the enemy."

Giovanni Zatara
a.k.a The Magnificient Zatara!

Age: 85, but his magical biology has kept him appearing as though he is in his fifties.
Gender: Male
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 180'
Occupancy: Superhero

Personality: Zatara is a showman in every respect: flamboyant, unpredictable, inscrutable, with a penchant for theatrics and an eye for detail. He's cynical, doubting, and disagreeable. It is nearly impossible to win an argument with Zatara, no matter what you're telling him.
Likes: Money, Fame
Dislikes: People who take advantage of others
Hobbies and Skills: He's quite adept at sleight of hand and tricks of illusion.
Fears: Zatara is afraid of fading into obscurity above all else.

Moral alignment: Lawful Neutral. MTG: Blue-White
Abilities: He's one of Earth's greatest magic users. In his heyday, he was known for summoning fantastical creatures to fight villainy, vanquishing entire alien hordes to other realms, and putting down countless baddies with his powerful and extremely varied spells. Nowadays, though, it can be difficult for him to do so much as a burst of flame, and the rabbits he summons from his hat aren't always... right-side out.

Background: The Fantastical Zatara was a simple stage magician in New Orleans in the fifties, until he entered a relationship with a strange woman known only as Madame Xanadu. She taught him that he had the power to make real magic, and he wound up quickly becoming more and more powerful. He became a world-renowned superhero, fighting off cataclysms, helping humanity, and making quite a bit of money while doing so. However, in the eighties, interest in him quickly vanished as the aging superhero was eventually forced into retirement from the Superhero scene. He spends most of his time plotting his magnificent return to the spotlight.

The last survivor of a doomed race Kara was sent into space when she was just a baby as her home world imploded. She was sent to a far flung planet no one had heard of and which while not significant was suspected to be populated and would have the proper environment to allow kryptonians to survive. Thus after a short trip through the cosmos Kara landed on earth and was found by the Kent family.
She grew up knowing nothing of her heritage until she was 15 when she started to change and whole puberty might do many weird things gaining laser eyes is not one of them. Her parents then explained how she had been found and the ship they had found her in. It was from this that she learned she wasn't just adopted but was in fact an alien.

The ship had an on board AI copy of her father who explained about her powers and how their civilization had collapsed then have her a crystal to plant. Explaining it would grow into a place where she could train her abilities. Telling her parents all this as she considers the Kent's her parents more than her kyrptonian ones she told them her plan to become a hero and a symbol. Well the hero part at least the symbol came latter. Kara planted the crystal in the Antarctic far from prying eyes and to make sure she didn't destroy the very things she planned to save trained there flying home every now and then. When she felt she had trained enough and made a costume she decided it was time to find a place to start her work.

Metropolis was her target, it was big and had plenty of crime but still had good people in it, it was perfect. She moved there under the guise of being a student and soon after arriving started her heroics.

"Smallville it is a great place to grow up about as close to the old American dream as you could get."

Name: Richard John Grayson

Alias: Robin

Nickname: Dick, The Boy Wonder, Birdbrain; Boy Blunder (by enemies)

Age: 11

Gender: Male

Height: 4'4

Weight: 79 lbs

Occupancy: Student, and amateur crime fighter on the side.

Personality Goods: Dick Grayson, on the surface, can seem to be a good natured and optimistic person who tries to see the best in a situation and in others. While there is also much more to him than just that, these aspects are also true. While the boy is hardly as naive or as careless as he might seem to be at first glance, he does often try to make light of a situation by making lighthearted jokes and quips partly to offset the brooding nature of his mentor. He has a prominent sense of humor, and shows this by sometimes making laughingly bad or goofy one liners in the midst of a battle. As he grows, this is something he does less and less often, but still happens from time to time; which is most likely to the chagrin of everybody present.

Robin can act professional when he needs to, especially in a serious or life endangering situation. At times such as these, he won't crack any jokes, and will instead do whatever he needs to do with no questions asked. He can stay incredibly calm under pressure as well, never allowing himself to panic if a desperate situation arises. Another positive trait of his is the determination and willpower he has to do whatever he needs to do. He never quits something once he gets started, which can be a bit of a negative thing when it comes to something like crime fighting or a video game getting in the way of homework. When it comes to the pledge that he made to Bruce to fight crime however, Robin takes this very seriously, and allows nothing to deter or stop him from fighting against crime and protecting the innocent, no matter what the odds are.

He doesn't only fight crime to avenge the death of his parents, as being with Bruce and becoming Robin gradually helped him move on from their deaths, but also to simply try to prevent what happened to him from happening to anyone else. He wants to try to help stop the crime and corruption where he can, and however he can. While this is a somewhat idealistic outlook, it is the main motivation for what he does, aside from wanting to be a help and support to Bruce as well. Dick can be quite emotionally mature for his age, mostly when it comes to dealing with other people. He can be quite empathetic for others, and can even try to see the best in them at times, though even he knows that there are many in the world that are beyond sympathy, and he can even share his mentor's paranoia and caution at times because of this. This personality trait mostly comes into play in the way that he handles others, knowing when to offer a supportive hand, or when to back off and give them space.

Robin also cares deeply about the family he has now, which is Alfred and Bruce. He looks up to Bruce as a son might, though slowly that bubble of hero worshipping and admiring the other one is slowly starting to burst. Nevertheless, Dick still works hard to earn Bruce's approval, and most of the time willingly accepts orders from the other one as well. He is very loyal to Batman, and no matter what disagreements might come up between the two, that loyalty never wavers. He would give up his life for Bruce, as well as anyone he really cares about, or anyone he tries to save.

Personality Bads: Even though Robin might seem to be quite different from Batman, or maybe even the complete opposite, he has actually inherited quite a few personality traits from his mentor. Like Bruce, he too watched his parents die right before his eyes, which left some scars on his young mind. He had been very close to going down a significantly darker path, before being helped by Bruce. Even though he mostly managed to move past that tragedy, it hasn't completely lost its effect on him. He is aware of how dark and terrible of a place the world can be. This knowledge can weigh him down at times, and cause him to question himself at its worst. Another negative aspect of his personality is his pride, which is something that causes him to sometimes clash with Bruce. He can sometimes be convinced that his judgment is better than his mentor's, and in the most extreme cases of this it might lead to him disobeying orders. This usually happens whenever Robin is rejected from going on a mission or doing something of importance, and due to his wounded pride and slight insecurity, he immediately takes this as another way of telling him that he's not good enough or trusted enough to do that certain thing. This will often lead to him rashly disobeying orders and going off without much forethought to try to do said thing in order to prove himself.

Dick is also very impulsive, and even in normal battle situations he might do something or make a decision without really thinking about it ahead of time. Most of this is simply a certain youthful lack of maturity and wisdom, and is gradually getting better over time. Still, his tendency to sometimes think with his emotions instead of his mind is a weakness that can often present a big problem. Another flaw that the boy has is his stubbornness and his temper. While his temper might not show itself that often, it is certainly still there, and often when it does show itself during a disagreement or a fight, it is not a very pleasant sight. While Dick's stubbornness can be a good thing, sometimes when he thinks he's right even when told otherwise, it is quite a negative aspect. This stubbornness leads to him sometimes disagreeing, and not giving up this point unless it's necessary.

No matter what Robin will always try to do what he thinks is right, but when sometimes his immature judgement and other feelings get in the way of seeing the whole picture, this can work against him as well.

Likes: Bright colors, the feeling of flying, acrobatics; cotton candy, popcorn, and other such fairground sweets, the circus, safety nets, most food aside from vegetables, crime fighting, action based video games and books, being the center of attention, earning someone's approval, succeeding in something, getting Bruce to smile or laugh, solving a tough mystery, pulling pranks on someone (usually Alfred), and being surrounded by those who love him.

Dislikes: Most of the criminal underworld, any form of bully, school, homework, vegetables, Wayne galas and society functions, being called a kid or otherwise belittled because of his age, ignorance, disappointing anyone that he looks up to, failing at anything, losing to anyone in a fight, failing to save someone, being left out on missions; falling.

Hobbies and Skills: Dick's favorite skill of them all, and one he's best at, is acrobatics. He'll practice his acrobatics often, mostly during his free times or to show off a bit at the school gym. Due to being the ward of a billionaire, part of Dick's education is learning different languages, something that he finds tedious but possibly helpful down the road. He knows Spanish by now, and is in the process of learning French. As for hobbies, while crime fighting takes up most of Dick's time and interest, there are a few things that he does in his spare time.

Sometimes he'll participate in school sports, as long as it's nothing too time consuming. When getting home from school and he's not immediately needed for patrol or help with detective work, he'll sometimes watch some cartoons, play a video game, or maybe even read an adventure novel before working on his homework. At times the boy might even try to doodle something now and then, but his artistic talent... is noticeably lacking.

Fears: One of Dick's biggest fears, even though it's one that he has worked hard to conquer, is his fear of heights. It was never something that was much of a problem during his childhood, but ever since he watched his parents fall to their deaths with nothing to catch them, the fear that something like that might happen to him someday still haunts him in his subconscious. Sometimes it can still get to him too, particularly whenever he's standing at a very tall height, whenever he's falling somewhere himself, or whenever someone else is falling with nothing to catch them.

Another one of his more recently realized fears is becoming Batman. It was always in the boy's mind ever since he joined Batman in his crusade that eventually, sometime in the far off future, he would end up succeeding his mentor and becoming Batman. But lately, he's beginning to realize how much responsibility and burdens that the role entails, especially when it comes to walking a thin line every single night between sanity and no moral boundaries whatsoever. While Dick used to look up to his mentor and still admires him greatly, he's starting to become afraid of becoming exactly like the other one, which is an unappealing and rather scary prospect to him in some respects.

Robin also fears failing, whether it be someone he's trying to help or save, or his mentor. He doesn't want to let Batman down, and fears that one day Bruce might banish him from crime fighting and being his partner entirely. For now, Dick desperately doesn't want that day to come, and so he works hard to try his best to make sure that it won't.

Moral Alignment: Neutral Good

Abilities: Robin has a great many abilities and skills, most of which being his martial arts abilities, but the defining trait of his skill set is most definitely his acrobatic prowess. Dick was practically raised on the high wire, and because of this his acrobatic skills are quite impressive. He often incorporates these talents into his fighting style, such as backflips, somersaults, and other movements while in battle. He is also much quicker, nimbler, and moves with much more finesse while fighting as a result. That being said, Robin also has great martial arts abilities as well, performing quite remarkably despite only recently having been trained. He was trained by Batman, and thus is fairly efficient in most fighting forms, though he is most proficient with his own fighting style that suits him best.

Robin was taught how to fight with certain weapons as well, such as a bō staff, chains, swords and other various weapons as well. He usually only fights with his fists or gadgets during combat though, and only uses an extendable bō staff kept in his utility belt when necessary. Aside from his ability to fight, Robin was also taught to be very resourceful in any situation, and to keep aware of his surroundings at all times, as well as how to take advantage of them. He also is a good detective, being mentored in this field by Batman as well, and by observing his partner and having some intuitiveness and intellect of his own, he can accomplish some pretty challenging detective work on his own.

Equipment: Robin is equipped with many tools and gadgets that are contained in his utility belt, most of which are the same ones that Batman uses, in order to help with the difficult task of fighting crime. Some of these many items include:
-Batarangs
-Explosive batarangs.
-A batarang that emits knock out gas.
-Grappling hooks
-Long, durable cords that are meant to act like ropes, with small weights on either end.
-Smoke bombs
-Freeze pellets, to seemingly freeze or at least slow down the target.
-Smaller explosive pellets.
-Marbles that are meant to trip up.the opponent.
-A collapsible bō staff.
-A flashlight and other such practical necessities, as well as a communication device, are also kept inside.
Other items might be added when thought of, but otherwise this is a bit of the wide palette of choices from the utility belt.

Background:
Richard Grayson was born to Mary and John Grayson, two acrobats that worked for Haly's Circus. The boy was practically trained in acrobatics from birth, and had a mostly positive upbringing and a happy childhood at the circus. At a very young age he joined his parents' acrobatic act, and quickly became known as the youngest member of the Flying Graysons. The family's act amazed anyone who saw it, since not only did they accomplish spectacular feats, but they managed to do it all without a safety net to catch them if they fell. For a while the life of glory and general contentment continued, until one fateful day when the traveling circus made a stop in Gotham City.

While everything was being unpacked, unloaded, and made ready for that night's performance, Dick was playing around nearby the circus owner's trailer when he heard angry voices coming from within. He heard the voice of Mr. Haly, along with another voice that was ominously unfamiliar to him. The strange voice was demanding protection money from the circus during its' stay in Gotham, in order to prevent any unfortunate "accidents" from occurring. Mr. Haly naturally refused the thug, and threw him out of the trailer and out of the circus in response. The stranger, who declared himself as Tony Zucco, stumbled out in a rage, promising that they'd be sorry that they hadn't accepted his offer of protection. Dick was rather disturbed upon witnessing this encounter, but eventually the memory of it faded into the back of his mind as he and his family practiced for their act the rest of the afternoon.

That evening, the time for the performance came. It was going to be a particularly large crowd, due to a billionaire named Bruce Wayne sponsoring the event and attracting many other socialites like him because of it. Before the Graysons' act that night, when the little family was just getting ready to go onstage, Dick glimpsed a shady, almost familiar looking man exiting the tent from the area where all the ropes and pulleys were kept. In an instant the boy realized why the man looked familiar; he was the stranger that had been thrown out of the circus earlier that day. Before he could voice his suspicions about the man however, he and his family were called on to perform. Unfortunately, the Flying Graysons' act was doomed to end in tragedy. While Dick's parents were swinging midair over the ring on the two trapezes, and he waited on a nearby platform to join them, suddenly the wires that held up the trapezes snapped due to being weakened. The boy watched in utter horror as his parents fell to their deaths in the ring.

What followed afterward all seemed to be a muddled blur. Dick tried to tell the police all he knew about Tony Zucco, but Zucco managed to vanish off the grid before he could be apprehended for questioning. Shortly after the tragedy of his parents' deaths, the young orphan was placed in a juvinile services system due to social services being full. It was a miserable experience for him, and even after he was transferred to a Catholic orphanage, things got no better for him. He continued to be in a rather sorry state, once even trying to escape the orphanage, before he was rescued from the situation by Bruce Wayne. Bruce had been there to watch the fateful performance, and apparently felt great sympathy for the boy's situation. He took Dick in as his ward, not wanting to immediately take the place of his father in his life.

At first being taken to Wayne Manor and being taken in by someone who could understand and relate to his situation was a relative comfort, but Dick began to notice how Bruce was barely ever around to spend time with him, especially during the evenings. The mansion was large, empty, and lonely, even with the company of Bruce Wayne's butler. For a lot of the time, the boy was left alone with his pain and guilt about what had happened to his parents and not having been able to warn them in time. He couldn't stand the thought of his parents' murderer escaping unpunished, and so eventually, he snuck out of the Manor in order to investigate the Graysons' murder and find Zucco. While he went out investigating he actually was able to pick up some leads, and in the process returned to the site of the circus during the search. While looking around there, suddenly Dick was ambushed by one of the thugs that worked with Zucco, and was nearly killed in the encounter. Before he could be finished off however, Batman swooped in to intervene, saving his life once more.

The crime fighting vigilante had also been investigating the case, since recently Zucco and anyone associated with him had earned the Batman's wrath, which had in turn led him to the boy in peril. The injured boy was taken to the Batcave once the thug had been dispatched, and was soon able to recover from his head injury enough to regain consciousness. Once he did so however, he was shocked to see where he was. Batman confronted him, but in the following conversation, he eventually removed his cowl, and revealed himself to be Bruce Wayne. Dick was even more shocked by this new revelation, yet he couldn't help but be somewhat thrilled by it as well.

After a moment of consideration, Bruce asked the boy a serious question. He wanted to know just how badly Dick wanted to have vengeance on Zucco. Dick gave a fairly emotional response, but despite this, he affirmed that he wanted to make sure his parents' murderer got justice, whether or not it was by his own hands. Upon receiving this response, Batman made him a wary, but valid offer. If he was so determined to see Zucco get the justice he deserved, he could help Batman solve the case. Upon continuing their investigation, Bruce and Dick were able to track down Zucco together and prove his guilt, but before the man could be arrested and brought to justice, he abruptly died of a heart attack. Nevertheless, Dick had refused to kill Zucco once confronting him, and was able to gradually move on from the death of his parents after this event.

Once they returned home, it was unlikely that Dick could simply sit on the knowledge he had, and the feeling that had come with fighting alongside Batman to bring justice, day in and day out without doing something about it. He faithfully kept the secret, but he remained restless, wanting more. The loneliness of not having Bruce around began to set in again, especially now that he knew what he was missing. At one point, when Dick was down in the Batcave exploring, he took special note of a suit that was noticeably different than Batman's sitting in a glass case. When Bruce found him down there, after much prodding he explained that the suit was one that belonged to Robin, a former partner that had died only a couple years ago. The topic seemed to be an extremely hard one to talk about for Bruce, so Dick dropped it at first, but from then on he began to see how much Bruce seemed to need a partner again, or at the very least a support. The boy's aspirations soon became to be Batman's crime fighting partner, as a way to help fight crime and help others, and as life at the desolate Wayne Manor continued, the need became increasingly clear.

It was a long, grueling process to convince the other one to allow him to go down such a path, and it certainly wasn't easy. But Dick's restlessness and even his bottled up anger about bad things continuously happening around him that he wished he could have stopped made it clear that living a "normal" life simply wouldn't be the best thing for him. Eventually, after much convincing from Dick and subtle prodding from Alfred, Bruce agreed to allow the boy to join him in his crusade against crime, once he had been fully trained and was ready. Dick was delighted, but took this offer very seriously too. Later that night, in the dim flickering of candlelight, Bruce made Dick swear an oath to always uphold justice, protect the innocent, and never swerve from the path of righteousness. Once committing to the role, Dick's intensive and strenuous training began. Despite how difficult it was, putting his energy into the training and eventually crime fighting proved to be a very positive thing for him in the long run. At first, Dick didn't wish to take on the identity of Robin when fighting alongside Batman for fear being disrespectful by taking it in that way, but eventually decided once receiving his mentor's blessing, that he'd take the role in honor of Batman's fallen partner.

And so once Dick was deemed to be fully ready, Batman and Robin hit the streets as a crime fighting duo once again, and have continued to be so for all of the months that have followed afterwards.

"... Gotham? Well, it's certainly not the most appealing city in the world to be the guardian of. Believe it or not, when I first came here, I was kinda scared of this place. But you... kind of get used to it, I guess. And once you see how much it really needs help... well, anyway, it's home, and we're trying to make a difference for it. That's good enough for me."

Name: Thaal Sinestro
Age: 39
Gender: Male
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 204 Ibs
Species: Korugarian
Occupation: Green Lantern (currently)
Archaeologist (formerly)

Personality Goods:
  • Extremely strong willpower
  • Imaginative
  • Strong strategic mind
  • Very principled
Personality Bads:
  • Convinced of his own superiority
Likes: Order, competence, control, Korugar, Arin Sur, Abin Sur, & his infant daughter Soranik
Dislikes: Chaos, incompetence, the Guardians of the Universe
Hobbies: Thaal has been known to meditate by building temporary model cities with blocks created by his ring, harkening back to his childhood when he played with building blocks for recreation.
Skills: Thaal is exceptionally skilled with his Power Ring, perhaps better than anyone else in the Corps. He has vested much of his time studying and mastering its use as a weapon, devising strategies, and honing his effectiveness at intimidation.
Fears: His few friends and loved ones being threatened

Moral alignment: Lawful Evil (D&D); White/Black (MTG)
Abilities: Sinestro has no innate "super powers," but he more than makes up for it with inner strength and the ingenuity with which he is able to gather powerful weapons and allies. Physiologically, Korugarians are not very different from humans. The primary physical difference is that Korugarians are red, whereas humans fall into a certain range of neutral colors.
Green Lantern power ring:
The Green Lantern power rings are an extremely powerful technological device, created and distributed by the Guardians of the Universe. The rings must be charged regularly with a Green Lantern power battery. All the Corps Rings are connected to the central power battery on Oa as well. They provide the following abilities:
  • Energy constructs: This is the most famous capability of the rings. The user of a Green Lantern ring can project green energy constructs. The main limit is the user's imagination and willpower, but the ring will refuse to use lethal force unless authorized by the Guardians. Most of the ring's supplementary powers are an extension of this ability. For example: the users can protect themselves with a forcefield construct, heal with an advanced medical construct, fire dangerous energy beams, and so on.
  • Flight & levitation: The ring allows the wearer to fly.
  • Universal translation: The ring automatically translates alien languages, like Kryptonian or English.
  • Pocket dimension: The rings can open a small opening into a pocket dimension. This is usually only used to store the Green Lantern Power Battery.
  • Life support system: The rings allow the user to survive comfortably in space, and they have a limited capacity to prolong the user's life after serious injury.
  • Electromagnetic scanning: The ring has a wide range of detection abilities based on the imagination of the user. If one can conceive of it, they can probably detect it. Magical effects like clairvoyance seem to be beyond the scope of the ring. Most normal electromagnetic phenomena are within the range of the ring (including radio, television, infrared, ultraviolet, and high frequency band communications.)
  • Oan Encyclopedia: The ring has access to basic knowledge about known worlds in the universe, previous missions, and persons of interest. This information is stored in the central power battery.
Background: Thaal Sinestro grew up on his homeworld of Korugar, in its capital Korugar City. He did not come from poverty, and his parents were able to provide him a comfortable living. They were well-meaning and loved him, but they were more interested in frivolities like masquerade parties than they were in their son.

Thaal was always interested in structure, in building, and in what his planet was like before the current corrupt government took power. He studied to become an archaeologist, and he earned the appropriate degrees to take the position. With his new occupation, he spent his time pursuing forgotten knowledge and exploring the ruins of the old, forgotten empires of Korugar.

One day, the wounded Green Lantern Prohl Gosgatha crash landed a spacecraft at one of these sites. Sinestro ran over to see what had happened, and Prohl handed him his Green Lantern ring and told Sinestro he could use it to defend himself. Just then, a weaponer of Qward arrived. The same weaponer who had just defeated Prohl. While Sinestro held the ring in his palm and examined the danger of the situation, it responded to his willpower and flew onto his finger. Sinestro was a quick study, and swiftly defeated the weaponer despite never having seen a Green Lantern ring before.

With the weaponer defeated, Prohl asked for his ring back so that the life support could sustain him until he could get proper medical attention. But Sinestro knew he was better suited to the power of the ring than this alien stranger, so he kept it for himself and allowed Prohl to die.

Thaal Sinestro was then inducted into the Green Lantern Corps as the protector of Sector 1417. He met and befriended Abin Sur, a Green Lantern from the planet Ungara who introduced Thaal to his sister Arin Sur. Arin Sur eventually moved to Korugar City to marry Sinestro, and the two now have a baby daughter named Soranik.

Today, Sinestro is considered the greatest Green Lantern. Thanks to his expert guidance, Sector 1417 is the most orderly sector in the entire universe. However, this is not good enough for Thaal Sinestro. The Guardians are not doing enough to control the universe and eliminate chaos. He knows he could do so much more if they weren't holding him back. Although they hold him in high regard, he views them with contempt. For now, he is forced to content himself with perfecting the order of Sector 1417 and his home planet of Korugar.

"I, on the other hand, was always more interested in times long past. In the majestic empires that once dominated the planet of my birth." - Thaal Sinestro, Secret Origins: Sinestro by Cullen Bunn from Secret Origins #6

Age:
Unknown

Male
Height:
6'7 (6'2)
Weight:
300lbs (180lbs)
Occupancy:
Detective

Personality Goods:
J'onn is a wise and intelligent man with experience in a vast array of fields, seemingly always calm and level headed J'onn is someone who can be relied on to look at a situation clearly and objectively. A defining feature of J'onn is his immense willpower, it is something that allowed him to keep himself from breaking completely after the loss of his entire race. He is a man of great kindness and nobility who even after his suffering is compassionate and caring to everyone. J'onn is the kind to look beneath the surface to get to know a person better, for reasons that are obvious, and believes that even if someone may have ulterior motives or a rather negative personality in the end they still deserve the consideration and care that he gives everyone else.

Personality Bads:
Like all Martians, J'onn has a rather cold and stoic demeanour which causes a lot of misinterpretations when interacting with others, it is also hard to tell the kind of person J'onn is due to his very restricted emotional expressions. It would be quite hard to believe how J'onn truly was based on his exterior. He does have a rather subtle sense of humour but he is mostly seen as a rather hard and uptight person, never really relaxing or letting loose at all.

- Humanity

Dislikes:
- Unnecessary Violence
- Judgemental People
- Crowds
- Tyranny
- Misuse of Power

Hobbies and Skills:
Meditation:

Although this is also how J'onn sleeps it is also used as a relaxation method or something to help clear his mind and concentrate.
Painting:
Mostly paintings of natural landscapes, plants, animals and humans. Although J'onn is a rather poor painter it is something that he loves to do and wishes to improve his ability.
Reading:
J'onn is a curious individual who loves to learn and develop his knowledge and understanding further and further. One way that he does this is through the consumption of books of any kind and topic.
However his preference does tend to lean towards nature or picture books which would be his likely choice if he were to read for his own enjoyment.

Experienced Detective
Even on Mars J'onn worked as a detective and so he has grown and developed skills and experience over countless years to the point where he would likely be considered one of the most effective and efficient detectives in the world. However on earth he is simply known as an average detective, not too great but certainly not a bad one, he is seen by co-workers as reliable and trustworthy.

Fears:
J'onns biggest fear is a fear that has been implanted into his very being, that being his fear of fire. Exposure to fire causes J'onn to lose his powers with extreme fires causing him to lose his biomorphic form which leaves him in a very weak and vulnerable state. This innate fear has grown even larger since watching the death of his entire race, his own family in particular, burn to death in front of his own eyes. This has caused J'onn to use his powers very conservatively and has had a profound effect on his emotional and mental state.

Moral alignment:
Lawful Good

Abilities:
Martian Physiology:
Many, if not all of the powers that J'onn possesses are powers and abilities that are common among the Martian Race, however J'onns powers are among the top of his race as he was genetically modified which game him incredible powers even among Martians. The Martian's physiology would seem to be composed of a complex molecular chain that resembles polymer bonds but with the ability to be altered at will. J'onn can change his mass, colour, relative shape, imitating even clothing if desired. The biopolymer is extremely flexible, durable, incredibly strong for a biological material and apparently self-sustaining. J'onn does not actually have to consume food or drink however he does so in order to blend in, and occasionally for pleasure.
Shape Shifting, Malleability, Plasticity, Elongation:
One of the most useful and incredible powers of J'onn is his ability to shape-shift, this is the power that has allowed him to disguise himself as a human. He is able to control the molecular structure of his body and manipulate into any construct that he desires. J'onn can also form clothing and weapons with non-moving parts. The limit to which J'onn is able to imitate others is unknown as he has the ability to make himself not only into a perfect copy but also to imitate their mannerisms.
Invisibility:
By manipulating the biopolymers in his body J'onn is able to remove the ability for his body to reflect light, rendering himself invisible from normal light and human sight. With more increased concentration J'onn can also render himself invisible from the electromagnetic spectrum including the infrared and ultraviolet ranges. The invisibility does not affect any of the other senses which means he can still be touched.
Phasing:
J'onn has the ability to phase through solid matter through making his biopolymers less substantial than the solid matter that he is phasing through which decreases the molecular density of his body and loosens the bonds within his biopolymers. This is perhaps the power that shows the most of his absolute control over his body.
Superhuman Durability:
Due to the biomorphic nature of J'onns body he has the ability to absorb most kinetic energies such as high caliber bullets, shrapnel of flying debris easily. He can also harden his biopolymers by rebinding them to increase his durability to the point that it is almost on par with a Kryptonians. Hazardous and extreme environments have little to no affect on J'onn along with all earthly poisons or toxins.
Superhuman Strength:
J'onns superhuman strength comes from his Biomorphic structure formed from immensely long and complex molecular chains augmented with his psionic and telekinetic abilities allowing him to lift incredible weights without these weights crumbling under the stress. By modifying the density of these biopolymers, J'onn can make himself stronger by forcing them into tighter bundles. At a resting state it is unknown just how strong J'onn is but he can with ease lift 100 tons. However when at full capacity his powers once more come close to that of a Kryptonians.
Superhuman Stamina:
J'onns endurance is just as formidable as his strength and durability, he is able to work under extreme conditions for a moderate amount of time without showing signs of fatigue.
Regeneration:
J'onn has amazing regenerative capabilities. So great are they that her can completely regenerate from nothing but his severed hand or even a puddle of green liquid.
Flight:
J'onn flies by manipulation of gravitons manipulation of magnetic fields and control of his absolute molecular movement. These combine to give him the ability to fly great distances with little fatigue and at great speed. J'onn also has the ability to fly in space with little to no effort.
Extra Sensory Input:
J'onn possesses nine different senses. One of these senses could account for J'onns perceived precognitive abilities.

Martian Vision:
It has been seen to be a bolt of force, directed by the Manhunter's eyes causing considerable damage. It has also been seen to cause flammable objects to catch fire. It also grants J'onn the ability to see into other spectrums of light. J'onn can use his Martian vision to see people and objects that are invisible to others
Telepathy:
J'onn is able to read the mind of any human with no difficulties, and the only minds that can cause him trouble are insane minds. He can even read the subconscious mind as well. He is able to read minds over great distances and even communicate with them or connect a group of minds to relay information to them. However J'onn is very against using these powers and hopes that situations where he needs to use them will never arise.

Background:

It is unknown just how long ago J'onn was born, however he was born to a couple of Green Martians named M'yrnn and Sha'sheen on Mars along with his twin brother Ma'alefa'ak. Ma'alefa'ak was however born a mutant among the martians, who was unable of using his telepathic abilities to communicate with the others. J'onn spent most of his youth with his twin brother, loving and caring for him despite his differences as to J'onn they did not matter, he loved him unconditionally for who he was. As an adult J'onn would become a Manhunter, who were the police officers on Mars and through his work would go on to meet the love of his life M'yri'ah whom he would go on to marry. After years of work the couple established a modest home together and eventually had a daughter named K'hym.
As the years past J'onn remained very close to his brother Ma'alefa'ak who had been completely rejected by the other martians, it was perhaps the love that he had for his brother that blinded him from seeing the growing hatred within him and so Ma'alefa'ak began to despise everything about martians and their culture without J'onn paying much attention to it. If J'onn were to have known he would have tried to stop his brother but alas Ma'alefa'ak embarked on a monstrous endeavour to commit an absolute genocide against the martian people. Ma'alefa'ak eventually successfully developed the H'ronmeers Curse, which was a virus that reacted to the martians telepathic energy and spread from one martian to the next whenever and wherever they activated their psionic powers. The plague responded to a Martian's innate fear of fire, causing them psychosomatic stress so intense, that their bodies and minds would literally burst into flame. The level of betrayal that J'onn felt was nothing in comparison and completely overshadowed by the fear that he had for his familys safety. J'onn tried everything in his power to desperately keep his wife and daughter from using their mental powers however they were unable to do so and burned to death right in front of him. The trauma of this almost completely broke his psyche and drove him to the very verge of madness.

While this was happening, a scientist on planet Earth by the name of Dr Saul Erdel had developed a transmitter machine based on ancient martian technology. Seeking to finally make contact with extraterrestrial life he aimed his device towards Mars and fired the transmitter beam. The transmitter beam streaked across both space and time, striking the J'onn at a point in time centuries before Erdel was even born. The beam brought J'onn to earth, where he almost instantly collapsed in Erdels laboratory. The doctor nursed J'onn back to health and helped him in learning and adapting to this new world that he was in. Since the Martian obviously stood out among the crowd, J'onn initially took on the appearance of the Doctors dog so that he could learn more and more. Eventually when he felt the time was right J'onn took on the form of a human, however when this happened Dr Erdel fell victim to a heart attack that would take his life. Before he passed the doctor apologised to J'onn for bringing him to earth and that he only wishes for J'onn to bring good to the planet. As a response to the Drs kindness J'onn formed a psychic bond between the two and J'onn shared his history with the Dr, letting the Dr know that if it were not for him then he likely would have lost his mind and died to the virus.

After the passing of Dr Erdel, J'onn moved to Metropolis and began his career as the new detective 'John Jones'. Hoping to fulfil the wishes of Dr Erdel and to honour the memory of his wife and daughter.

"My name is J'onn J'onzz. I am the sole survivor of a ravaged world. I will not see the same thing happen to Earth."

Superhuman durability- Grundy is one of the most durable characters in Dc Comics. This particular incarnation is not the toughest we've seen him but he is immensely durable. Bullets regardless of caliber bounce off of his skin, only high grade anti-armor Explosives seem to damage him, thanks to the elemental energies which keep Grundy alive he is almost immune to physical, magical, and energy based attacks. He is also immune to temperature, being frozen solid or lit on fire seems to bear no consequence.

Immortality- Grundy does not need to eat, sleep, breathe, or even rest. He never grows tired, does not feel pain, and is impervious to ageing. Pressure seems to bear no effects. Even if he is destroyed he will be brought back, born again from slaughter swamp but with a completly new mentality. A powerful healing factor allows Grundy to recover from nearly any form of non lethal damage.

Until the day he was busted by The Batman, instead of being taken in though the selfish Cyrus decided that he would rather squeal. He became an informant for batman and the authorities until eventually he was found out by A man named Joshua Deltiore a high ranking criminal boss. Cyrus gold died an agonizing death that day, and his body dumped in slaughter swamp. Seven days later he returned with a vengeance as Solomon Grundy. In a blind rage he did serious damage to gotham port before batman brought him down with a hit from the new Batmobile which caused him to be crushed under some shipping containers. Another week later grundy returned, his rage subsided but still in a foul mood as he searched for a murderer he couldn't remember. Luckily for him the worlds greatest detective was already on the case. Batman helped grundy to solve his own murder and brought Joshua to justice. This was a turning point for grundy, finally finding himself at peace he lived in the sewers occasionally helping Batman deal with the likes of Mr.Freeze, Joker, Clayface, Bane and various other difficult foes. One day batman approached him and told him about his friend bruce wayne who was looking for a new bodyguard. Since then Grundy Has stayed at wayne manor offering aide to bruce wherever he needs it, helping alfred with heavy chores, and even helping Richard with his "exercises" all the while completely oblivious to the fact that the family he helps in the daylight is the very same bat-family he joins on nightly patrol.

While he isn't particularly fond of it he feels centered when at slaughter swamp. If he is feeling troubled or isn't at wayne manor he is likely there gathering his thoughts.

Hobbies and Skills:

  • Genius-level intellect: Cisco is one of the most intelligent people on Earth an example of this is that he was able to design the parts of the Arrowcave, S.T.A.R. Labs, as well as his array of self-made machinery.
  • Computer specialist/Expert computer hacker: Cisco is a capable computer hacker, but his computer hacking skills are not at Felicity Smoak's level. However, Cisco is still highly gifted having picked up the skill at nine and has built on it ever since.
  • Combat suit production: Cisco has created many suits such as the Green Arrow suit or the White Canary suit as well as his own. In making his suits he always considers the pros and cons of the wearers and makes a suit that optimises their strengths and sheathes their weaknesses.
  • Master engineer/Biologist Cisco is a highly skilled engineer as he's created various tech at S.T.A.R. Labs, scientific innovations as well as even the security system in his home and S.T.A.R. Labs.
  • Hand-to-hand combatant: Though normally staying behind the scene to help in battles, Cisco is shown willing to get into a fistfight when the situation presents itself. Cisco is a slightly above average combatant, not on par with the likes of Oliver Queen but somewhere close. A Mr. Terrific type of fighter.

Fears:

  • Never talking/meeting with his family
  • Death
  • Killing someone
  • Being overcome by his powers
  • Being arrested while donning the "Vibe" persona

  • Moral alignment:
    Chaotic Good
    Abilities:
Dimensional Energy Manipulation: When a Boom Tube opened up on Cisco Ramon he was trapped in between dimensions for a matter of seconds. Enough time elapsed before he was pulled out and began vibrating between physical planes. While not always visible, Vibe is constantly vibrating at a frequency of a Boom Tube. Cisco has a psychic link to the natural energies of reality, allowing him to connect with various vibrations of the multiverse and manipulate them for various effects.
  • Warp Wave Manipulation: Vibe can emit powerful vibrations from his body. He normally focuses this energy through his hands to create shock waves powerful enough to level a house or shake a Parademon to pieces. Cisco is able to generate powerful concussive blasts of vibrations from his hands capable of propelling full-grown humans through the air.
  • Dimensional Travel: With his natural connection to the multiverse, Cisco can open portals to other dimensions. Being a noticeably more advanced ability, Cisco is shown to need focus and a proper awareness of his intended target. This required Harrison Wells to first calibrate Cisco's visors to lock onto the right electromagnetic frequencies that are located on the said dimensional plane. On a lesser level, he can make portals to teleport people to different locations in the same universe. He is now able to open breaches to other dimensions or a different place in the same dimension without any equipment.
  • Psychometry: Cisco can read the psychoactive imprint left behind on others or objects in order to get a detailed read on past or current events. This often occurs in forms of visions, leaving his eyes glowing blue as he's "placed" at whatever event he's witnessing. Known as "vibing", Cisco can perceive various events throughout time and space, letting him see into the past and future as well as parallel dimensions, even into the very Speed Force itself. He can even regain memories from an alternate timeline.
  • Energy Sensing: Cisco can sense the pan-dimensional energy signatures, feeling when and where an excursion from a different dimension is either occurring or emanating from. He can also sense local energies such as magic, solar energy, heat, etc.

Background: (Just a Brief Summary)

Cisco was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ramon in star city, the youngest of two sons, him and Dante Ramon. Cisco was intellectually gifted whereas Dante was not, and so was bullied by his own brother during their childhood as well as bullies at school, his most notable bully being Jake Puckett. Cisco collected tech magazines in high school and showed interests in mechanics at a young age, but his talent was not recognized nor deemed of importance by his family, as their attention were mostly on Dante and his athletic excellence despite Dante's insecurities. Cisco knew he was being under-appreciated, but it didn't stop his passion and he continued to pursue his dream. He eventually became employed at S.T.A.R. Labs under employment of Dr. Harrison Wells, but Cisco became very distant from his family even missing his brother's birthdays.

Cisco would only acquire his abilities during the explosion of the particle accelerator, infusing the dark matter energy into his cells.

A hard-working man, whom isn't much bothered by the opinions of others. Seeking a calm, educated and reasonable outcome to most situations. His usual mood is that of an elderly patriarch, a bit patronizing yet with good intentions in mind.
Personality Bads: His acts as Mister Freeze, have left Victor with a heavy sense of doubt and self-deprecation. Suffering from a mild case of depression, in addition to low self-esteem. Often times, he can get very emotional, so much so that it overrides his usual logical mind.
Likes: His estranged wife, snow-globes, model ship-building, teaching, being of use.
Dislikes: Corruption, greed, selfishness, summer, hot temperature, hot chocolate, visiting his therapist.
Hobbies and Skills:
  • Polymath
  • Cryogenic expert
  • Building model ships
  • Collecting snow-globes
Fears:
  • Losing Nora (both physically and emotionally)
  • Returning to crime
  • Dying due to his condition

Moral alignment: Chaotic Good
Abilities:
  • Expert in cold-weather warfare
  • Toxic/viral/bacterial immunity
  • Skilled mechanical engineer
  • Freeze gun (In GCPD storage)

Background: The story of Doctor Victor Fries is both one of crime, tragedy, grief and horrendous judgement. His younger years weren't that different from all the others, except the fact that Victor was a rather loner and social inept in his time. Despite this, he made up for with his above average intelligence and smart mind. After which he graduated he went straight to College - learning mechanical engineering and also having a keen mind for thermodynamics.

It was during one class, learning about the aspects of heat - that he met his future wife, Nora. They fell in love from the first sight - Victor was inept but had a kind and warm heart, while Nora was the popular and cheerful girl of the bunch. Despite their differences, they start to immediately date and hang-out - complimenting each other' strengths and weaknesses. Both of them had plans to settle down after finish their higher education.

Such as it was, so it happened - Victor and Nora got married a week after graduating and moved into a rather nice suburb outside of Gotham. Nora had plans of becoming a school teacher, while Victor was aiming for a researcher' spot in the medical industry. Sadly tragedy struck two years into their marriage - as Nora had been diagnosed with a highly aggressive form of cancer. While Nora was rather somber and accepting of her fate - as this cancer had almost no cure against it. Victor on the other hand was both distraught and slightly thrown off-balance.

He convinced Nora to remain fighting, so much so - that he helped her get registered and entombed in a Cryogenic Facility in Switzerland. Sadly the upkeep of such, demanded that Victor Fries turn his attention to more lucrative jobs to pay for such. Thus, he found himself working in the Arms Industry or namely Experimental Weapons Division. His field being that of Cryo and Cryogenic Weaponry. The accident which turned Victor Fries into Mister Freeze was caused by corporate greed, overworked hours and a badly maintained and documented safety regulations. An explosion from a badly maintained gas-valve caused most of the chemicals to be released - combined with the fact, that the safety release of Victor' lab didn't also work.

It left Victor Fries to be soaked in the exotic chemicals - readjusting his bodies natural' temperature and making him dependent on delicate environment to keep himself from dying. Fries attempted to sue the Company he had worked for - yet he was soundly defeated in court, lacking both the wealth and political power. In addition, he was framed for the incident, fined even and sentenced to jail. This act would have lead to Nora' death due to his inaction - thus he escaped and went into hiding.

Manufacturing a cryo suit and from memory rebuilding the prototype cryo gun he had been developing in the Weapon Company earlier he donned the moniker of Mister Freeze. Starting to rob and pillage any shop or store with valuable stock - banks, jewelry stores, chemical plants and so on. Anything which he could acquire and sell at the black market to gather the money - while also attempting to find a way to cure Nora' illness. Sadly this lead him to come into contact with Batman - despite not having killed anybody, Mister Freeze was a danger in itself. His mode of operation left many people in the hospital with severe frostbite or circulatory problems.

---

The change came about ten years into his reign as Mister Freeze. With his on and off visits to Arkham, he eventually gained Batman' attention completely when one botched robbery in a Chemical Plant almost caused the release of deadly chemical toxins into Gotham. This would lead Batman to investigate Victor Fries' case even further.

This would lead Batman to uncovering the accident and cover-up that lead into the 'creation' of Mister Freeze. The resulting events would have the company fined and shut down permanently for crimes in corruption, sabotage and reckless endangerment of their workers.

While Victor Fries would be unable to achieve any cent - it was through Batman' aid, that some unique help was gained for Nora. In namely getting her out of cryogenic suspension and not suffer any ill effects of being frozen for nearly fourteen years. It would be a rather tragic irony - that the same attempt of finding a cure had been staring in front of Victor this entire time. The cryogenic suspension had dealt with most of the cancerous growth in her body and made sure, that none survived to repopulate again.

It was an even more heartbreaking scene, when Nora was disgusted and shocked at what Victor had been doing for years now. His life of crime made Nora disgusted at what he had become, almost enough that she even dared of filing in a divorce between them. This act shocked Victor into a sense of lucidness, enough so that he begged to be given a second chance - from both Nora and...Batman. While Nora hadn't forgiven Victor for his acts - she was willing to give him a chance to redeem himself. Despite this, she left Gotham and returned to her home-town - while Victor was forced to remain in Gotham.

---

1517761748700.png
(Currently)

Victor Fries made good on his promise to change his ways - more than the most people of Arkham would. He gave up all of his criminal contacts and locations to Batman and the GCPD, started to partake in the numerous self-improvement classes in prison and started to see a therapist as well. This would continue for about five years, until he was considered 'safe' enough to be allowed the attempt to rejoin society.

Although, certain changes had to be made and adjustments. His old suit would be discarded and a new one made, to both make him less indimitating and less of a threat, should he attempt to break his parole. He has also gotten employment in a nearby factory, while making extra as a tutor whenever he could - to both regular students and heroic ones, if the need arises.

So far, he has had two visits from Nora - while things have remained chilled between them, the situation has slowly thawed after the second year - given Victor hope of change.

"Gotham. Its beauty hides its darker underbelly. One can easily forget that. Forget, as I had done..."

WIP I need to finish more of the background.

Appearance:
1518159951325.png
Name: Judas Iscariott.
Nickname: The Phantom Stranger.
Age: 2048
Gender: Male
Height: 6'
Weight: 190 lbs
Occupancy: Private Investigator.

Personality Goods: Not a bad person to have around by any means. In fact one might consider him to be friendly provided you don't meet him while he's "on the job". He actually has a pretty strong sense of personal justice and believes heavily in what he does. Not to mention millennia have made him wise and given him a very mild temperament.

Personality Bads: Judas, first and foremost, is a Stranger. His attachments are few and none of them are currently on earth. As such he is aloof and mostly refuses to get directly involved unless it's extremely imparitive. Even so his involvement is typically limited unless dealing with supernatural or magical threats.

Likes: His wife (deceased), decent food, getting work done.

Dislikes: Scottish Terriers. Angels. Demons. Trigon. Sin Eater. Things going terribly. Constantine. Sometimes Pandora. Sometimes The Question (it's hard not to dislike someone who released Blight and someone who stabbed you with the Spear of Destiny respectively). The Spectre.

Hobbies and Skills:
Cards
Chess
Swordplay
Wordplay

Fears:
Having to do this.
Failure.
Never getting to rest.

Moral alignment: Lawful Neutral. (Heavy emphasis on lawful)
Abilities:

Hand to hand combat: Sometimes it just feels good to have an archaic outburst of violence. No powers. No divine judgement.

Divine cloal: The Phantom Stranger's powers come almost entirely from the cloak of Jesus of Nazareth. It is permanently bound to him, may transform into any clothing or hide itself but it may never be removed.

Immortality: The Phantom Stranger cannot die from age. It is his greatest curse put on him due to his betrayal.

High magic user: The Phantom Stranger has access to vast amounts of magic thanks to his connection with the cloak. This can manifest itself in a variety of ways but usually is done so by reality warping, stopping time, or teleporting. He hasn't been shown to be able to really change others though save for his fight with The Spectre.

Superhuman durability: He has managed to survive coming to blows with the likes of Trigon and The Spectre. Though he is not immune and has been seen being damaged by sufficiently high divine power as well as he was once restrained and tricked by several Dark members including Constantine and Swamp Thing.

High level wisdom: The Phantom Stranger may not have a genius level intellect, but his millennia on this world has given him a deep pool of wisdom and a good intuition to trust. He may not be able to tell you the theoretics of atomic fusion, but he can use inductive reasoning to hunt down whomever you want.

Trinity Amplification: The Stranger is attached to the Trinity of Sin, whether he wants to be or not. As such he can amplify the powers of Pandora and The Question if they are close enough.

Background:

The Phantom Stranger was once a man, one of the most well-known traitors in history: Judas Iscariott. After betraying Jesus of Nazareth he committed suicide, more than ready to face the flames of hell for his crime, but to his surprise he didn't go to hell upon death. No, when he died he was brought before a council lead by The Wizard, a council created by The Presence to decide his fate. He was prepared, welcoming whatever punishment they would deal him, but to his surprise they showed a small bit of mercy. Instead of finding him guilty of treachery, they found him guilty of greed and burned each of the silver pieces he sold out his friend and mentor for. After the council had decided his crime, he was surprised to find himself in an empty field with nothing but a cloak in it. The cloak that Jesus had worn. He was instructed to wear it, and so he did. He was then informed this was the second part of his punishment, he would not die, he would forever be a stranger, he would never truly interact with the world and never be interacted with.

In recent history though, he was given a new task. One that was more personal and one that gave him a bit more freedom. He was to be The Phantom Stranger, a sentinel for the most high to watch over and very rarely intervene as to stop others from interfering with The Presence's "Divine Plan." Though he accepted this due to not having a choice, this has only deepened his questions about the world and its creator. Mainly questions of why does The Presence allow evil to exist and often times he is instructed to not interfere. These doubts came to a head whenever he unwittingly betrayed yet another man, Jim Corrigan, unknowingly leading him to his death so that way he may be transformed into The Spectre.

To his surprise, for this he was given a silver piece. A price repaid for a man in debt. Over time he managed to acquire several silver pieces, doing so has earned him several enemies in the likes of Trigon, Sin Eater, Eclipso, and Blight.

Abilities: Puddin’ is a skilled craftsmen, engineering all of Harley’s gear. He is also a skilled trapsman and chemist. As the Joker, he’s hyper insane and agile, cutting down foes with quick reflexes and using an array of improvised weapons and tools.

Background: The background of the Joker is far too muddled and chaotic for one origin to properly tell. The Puddin’ persona’s origin point, however, began during sessions with Dr. Harleen Quinzel. As Harleen peeled back the layers of the Joker’s mind, the Joker created a failsafe psychological persona that would convince the world he was becoming sane without losing his killer instinct. Harleen would later dub this persona “Puddin’”, but Joker called it the weaker half of his mind. When Harleen presented a meek and docile Joker to the Arkham board of directors, the Joker’s plan almost succeeded. However, the warden of Arkham made the mistake of triggering the Joker persona with an image of Batman, breaking the facade and causing the Joker to emerge and go on a killing spree.

Joker’s spree ended when Batman came to stop him and lock him away in Arkham for good. Though Joker would have loved to go back and escape to prove his nemesis wrong, Harleen showed up and coaxed the weaker persona to control. She gave him the opportunity to evade capture and hide. Soon after, Harleen found “Puddin’” amd convinced him to help her make up for their mistakes. Puddin’ agreed, but constantly worries about that one day, that one bad day....

(Note: I will likely not introduce this character until much later in the RP. I am simply laying claim to him right now lol.)

The Red Hood

c4c9dd9dc69b3d7e625909209d23983e.jpg
(The Red Hood in full uniform. He wears the Bat symbol to mock the real Batman.)

General Information
Name: Jason Peter Todd
Nicknames: Todd, Hoodie, Red
Alias: The Red Hood, Robin
(Former)
Identity: Secret
Age: 18 physically, 21 if you count the years he's been clinically dead.
Gender: Male

Height: 6'0 even.

Weight: 185lbs

Eyes: Blue

Hair: Black with white streaks due to exposure to the Lazarus pit.

Occupation: This is debatable. While many would call him a crime boss, Jason would likely deny it.

Education: While Jason dropped out of public school at a very young age, he has more than made up for it when he was home schooled by Alfred Pennyworth. Due to Alfred's rather strict curriculum, Jason's education has included every subject he would have learned in public school, as well as various different language courses and criminal investigation programs.

Personality:

jason_todd_portrait_by_nickroblesart-d5zebm0.jpg
(Jason without his helmet. His face is still riddled with scars since being resurrected.)
Personality Good: Behind his wall of resentment, Jason does genuinely want to help people. His perception of right and wrong has simply been... Skewed, after everything he has been through. It is unknown if this is due to the Lazarus pit, or because of the physical torture he endured, though in all likeliness it is a combination of both. Though Jason has fallen quite far from where he once was, he is not impossible to reach. It is possible to reason with him, meaning that not all sanity has left him quite yet.

Personality Bads: Due to everything that has happened to him, Jason has become a jaded and bitter young man. He not only blames Bruce for not being able to save him, but he is extremely resentful that Bruce did not avenge him by killing the Joker. Because of this resentment, Jason's policy on criminals is much less merciful than the Batman's; he has killed on multiple occasions, and has no qualms with killing again. He is determined to show the world that his method of doing things is superior, and that he will make a better Batman than Bruce ever did. Jason can also tend to be wildly impulsive and brash.

Also, despite never actually meeting him, Jason already has a strong disliking for Dick Grayson, viewing him as living proof that Jason was expendable. He feels betrayed that Bruce simply replaced him, and partially holds it against the current Robin.

Fears: Jason suffers from a rather severe case of PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder), due to his time being tortured and eventually killed by the Joker. The months he spent at the mercy of that insane psychopath haunt Jason to no end, often causing him to wake up in a cold sweat. He also fears that he never actually meant anything to Bruce, and he was nothing more than a disposable pawn to him.

Quirks/Habits: When he thinks nobody is watching, Jason actually displays a few nervous ticks, including biting his nails.

Interests: At the current moment, Jason's number one obsession is trying to prove that he is a better Batman than Bruce.

Likes: Deep down, Jason craves being validated. He likes the feeling of being respected, even if that respect is out of fear. Jason also still has a soft spot in his heart for Alfred, viewing him as the last shred of family he has left.

Dislikes: Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, The Joker, Harley Quinn. Jason also despises the thought that he was expendable, or that he is a failure.

Abilities:

(Jason Todd back before he died, while he was Robin. He suffered greatly at the hands of the Joker.)

Moral Alignment: Lawful Evil

Jason Todd possesses no superhuman abilities, however he is adept in several other skills.
-Jason is a talented marksman, though he is far from the best in the world.
-Being trained by Batman, Jason is quite skilled at hand to hand combat. He is not quite as skilled as Bruce, though he is more than capable of dismantling the majority of hand to hand fighters.
-Jason may not be quite as talented of a detective as Bruce, though he is far from being an idiot. He is still capable of solving most mysteries on his own, as well as being able to outsmart your every day thugs.
-Jason is quite strong and fast for his age, possessing near peak strength, speed and endurance for a human. If he was interested, Jason would make a fantastic athlete.
-Being trained by Batman, Jason is also very talented in the art of stealth.
- Thanks to his tutoring from Alfred, Jason is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
-Jason possesses a variety of equipment to help him along in his efforts.

Equipment:
-Jason almost always carries around a pair of matching pistols, normally loaded with armor piercing rounds.
-Occasionally Jason has been known to use a Sniper Rifle, as well as an AK-47. He normally sticks to his pistols in order to stay mobile.
-A heavy duty combat knife, able to cut through steel cords with minimal effort.
-Shuriken (Ninja throwing stars)
-Smoke pellets, including knockout gas variants.
-The Red Hood uses a crude version of Batman's older model of grappling gun, allowing him to grapple to the rooftops.
-Grenades, both frag and flash.
-Small, compact flares.

-The Red Hood's armor is lightweight, while being resistant to knives and blunt force trauma. It can protect him from limited gunfire, though a straight on shot is likely to punch straight through. His helmet is a different story, however. It is completely bulletproof, fitted with a re breather to protect him in toxic and low oxygen environments, and can switch between night vision and infrared vision modes.

Bio
If there was anyone who truly understood the ugly side of Gotham city, it would be Jason Peter Todd. Born to a poor family in Gotham's slums, Jason's childhood was far from cushy. His father was a violent alcoholic, and his mother suffered from a severe case of depression. Because of his troubled home life, Jason developed quite the mean streak while growing up. He would constantly get into fights at school, and even with his own father when he would come home drunker than usual. Jason would always lose these fights since he was just a boy, though it would never stop him from trying. The young boy never truly felt safe at home, and most nights would not even come home at all.

Jason's sour attitude would eventually get him thrown out of school at the age of thirteen. His father got himself thrown into prison for robbing a liquor store, and his mother ended her own life shortly after. Jason quickly found himself as an orphan, and was officially listed as a ward of the state. Jason would bounce around from foster home to foster home, though due to his delinquent attitude, he would never stay in the same place for too long.

One night however, changed the young Jason's life forever. While walking home one day, Jason happened upon a vacant Batmobile parked in an alleyway. Taking the opportunity, Jason attempted to steal one of the wheels off of the Batmobile. Not the smartest move, and he was quickly caught by Batman. Jason had never run so quickly in his life, and very nearly gave the Dark Knight the slip once or twice, though Batman eventually caught up to the terrified Jason. After a long talk with Jason, Bruce recognized the sheer potential for both good and evil in the young man, Batman revealed to the young man that he was in fact Bruce Wayne. He offered to adopt the young delinquent, under the strict condition that he would work harder towards doing good. Jason eagerly agreed.

Jason would take his place as the first Robin at fifteen years old, and worked alongside Batman as his partner for three years. Jason had become a supremely skilled vigilante, however that violent streak never quite left him. Over the years, Jason began to truly see Bruce as a father figure, and was eager to prove himself his equal. This unfortunately, led to Jason's ultimate downfall. While tracking the Joker, Jason decided to take the investigation into his own hands, despite Bruce's ample warnings to stay out of it.

Jason severely underestimated the clown prince of crime, and ended up getting himself caught. Jason would be held captive for nearly six months, enduring daily torture, before Bruce finally picked up his trail. By the time he found Jason however, the Joker had already beaten him to death with a crowbar. Bruce has since considered Jason's fate as his greatest failure.

His death would prove to not be his end, however. Nearly three years after Jason's tragic end, his body was retrieved by the League of Assassins. Ra's Al Ghoul had previously attempted to convince Bruce Wayne to be his successor, though even when the efforts of his daughter Talia Al Ghoul had failed, Ra's hatched a plan. He stole Jason's body and resurrected him with the Lazarus pit, choosing Jason as his second pick as successor.

However after being dead for so long, the Lazarus pit had... Unforeseen side effects. Upon first waking up, Jason completely lost his mind, going on a bloody rampage. He killed several assassins before making his escape. It would be months before Jason fully regained his memories. Jason wanted to return to Gotham city, tell Bruce that he was alive... Though once Jason discovered that not only was the Joker still alive, but Bruce had replaced him with a new Robin, Jason was filled with resentment.

Because of this, Jason has yet to reveal it to anyone that he is alive, though he is plotting in the shadows on how he is going to make his return.

“It wasn’t Hell; only fools and drama queens throw that word around about a place like Gotham. It was worse, in a way, because it was manmade. There wasn’t any timeless malevolence behind it all, it was just… what human beings can descend to when they let themselves forget they can be heroes.”
