  Hi all!
  
  
  I've been roleplaying off and on for probably 8 years at this point, but I don't consider myself 'advanced' or anything. I am strictly here for characters and stories, and I'm looking for partners who love roleplay with an evolving plot, regardless of writing level. I have no hard word limit, but I'd prefer a paragraph or more unless there's really nothing to say. An average post from me will be around 3 paragraphs, more or less depending on circumstance, and I try to write good quality stuff that doesn't bore my partner.
  
  
  I live in Australia (GMT+10 time zone), so depending on where you are we might not be on at the same times, but I will reply at least every 2 days and always communicate if I'm going to be away.

  I'm pretty chill with most styles and ideas, but I have a few things I'd like to see.
  
  
  • Most important: be able and willing to drive the plot forward. I don't like being the sole plot engine, it's really draining.
    
  • No crazy BBcode, please.
    
  • Reply every couple of days at least, or let me know if you can't.
    
  • Please be over 18.
    
  • Readable grammar.
    
  • Write detailed description when required. As in, to set a scene, describe new things etc.

  Hell on Earth

  Demon gates have opened, flooding the world with creatures from the deep. Despite the usual ragtag bands of heroes, the invaders win the war with humanity and set up shop, making humans into serfs in feudal townships. How do you resist supernatural occupiers?
  
  
  This could be a Medieval Fantasy setting or something more complicated.

  Front Toward Enemy

  After the end of WWIII many former powers have collapsed, leaving behind starving populations and broken down, divided nations.
  
  
  The strangest turn of events is the emergence of a new human sub-species - genetically engineered soldiers that have gone native. Designed and trained for war these people have no culture except the one they are forging for themselves - right now - and it remains to be seen whether baseline humanity can survive whatever arises.
  
  
  Note:
  
  
  I would want to keep this one moderately realistic, so the soldiers are not be 'supersoldiers' in the sense you may be thinking. They're smart, capable, strong, but they're not Captain America.
  
  
  The main difference is psychology. For obvious reasons they're all born as borderline psychopaths, with little innate grasp of morality. In their interactions they more resemble a pack of wolves than a human tribe.
  
  
  At the moment they decide leadership by a mix of ritual combat and merit based promotion.
  
  
  
  Pairings
  
  
  Any of these pairs can be romantic, platonic or antagonistic. I don't like forced romances, but if it happens naturally that's fine. I prefer M/M or M/F, and I can play either male or female.

Magic reappears in a post-nuclear-apocalypse Earth, filling the gap left by science and technology.

That sounds like exactly the kind of thing I've been craving. I'd prefer MxM at the moment if we go down the romance route, but it'll depend on how the characters play off each other. Evolving relationships are so much more fun, yeah?
