Futuristic Book Club!/Roleplay Group!

Did you know that reading can help your writing improve?

The idea behind this group would be to start a book club where members read and discuss books.

The Reading:
We'll all read a book that is decided by majority vote. Once a week we'll get together via Discord to discuss the assigned chapters and ask questions about what we read.

The Writing:
All Roleplaying will take place on Discord!

For the length of time that it takes to read the book or series of books, members are encouraged to do a short term roleplay that is the same genre of the book or series! We can do a long term group roleplay if the group decides on that, the genre would be voted on, obviously.

Members of the group can roleplay independently together without the entire group involved, just ask for me to make a new channel for you to play on with your partner(s).

The Rules:

Potential members:

1. Members must be 18+. Not because of adult content but for the comfort of adult members. Anyone caught lying about their age will be banned and may not reapply.
2. Members have to read the book that is voted on by the group except in cases where the member will not have access to reading material. (Vacations, breaks etc)
3. Members have to be courteous to others and come to either myself or solvernia for assistance if things cannot be worked out in private.
4. Members should be positive and encouraging toward others and actively trying to improve their writing.
5. Engage and be active! Two weeks of inactivity will get you booted.

Universal Roleplaying Rules:

1. All roleplays will take place on the Discord server with channels to separate them.
2. No member may have private roleplays. All roleplays will be public for all to read.
3. Writing level will never be taken into consideration. We're all trying to improve afterall.
