Eden swallowed dryly, her tears dripping down her cheeks. Her eyes opened slowly to find Ezra near her now with look of displeasure and concern but there was underlying determination. She shook her head, her eyes shining with a frantic gleam as she protested weakly. "D-Don't..Ezra. You don't know what you're doing, please. I don't want anyone seeing.." The female begged but it was too late; his fingertips were slowly brushing along her skin before firmly resting his hand against the spot that Ordan had explained was the best place. Her eyes widened and she quickly lifted a hand to Ezra's, her grip tight. "Ezra.." She whispered in a pleading voice. Her green gaze filled with many emotions that overwhelmed the female and caused a sob to leave her lips. She was definitely hiding something and now it would be known. Desperately trying to block anything from slipping into his mind, even Ellie tried to tug her memories back if at all possible; what if Elias thought differently of both of the females? It was way too late to worry now. First, memories of torture were the beginning, then it was the mental torment with various forms such as starvation and isolation, and then finally, the worse of them all- the one thing that she feared for anyone to see, especially Ezra and Ordan: physical violation. These particular memories were filled with sorrow, desperation to get away, and the yearning for her pack, for her mate.

Eden's eyes slowly swirled with their familiar golden tone, Ellie surfacing with a desperate expression. "Bad men..we fought, but were overpowered. T-They..touched..us.." Her voice grew feeble, her hues slowly mixing with the green tone from Eden as their beings worked in sync when speaking. "Tried to fight..so they cut miscarriage scar.." Weakly glancing down at her open wound from her miscarriage and emergency c-section, she began shaking. The female finally broke down in front of everyone, her hand slowly dropping from Ezra's before she feebly tried to pull away; she felt shameful as the memories were slowly being shared with Ezra, his mind able to feel her pain. Sure enough, even through her crying, her physical pain lessened but she couldn't say the same for her emotional trauma. All those times she called for him, called for her pack, every small heartache as a bigger piece of her hope cracked and broke away.

Ordan
Infirmary
While waiting for Ezra to respond to his question, on if he desired to help, though he would be in pain, the silence was broken by Eden's cries of pain as stitches were pulled on, causing the alpha to growl. "Concentrate on your breathing," spoke Ordan, "focus on someone or something with everything you have in you," he spoke quietly. When the woman attempted to growl at him, Ordan sighed and snapped his teeth at the air as she objected to what he and Ezra were discussing, the female stubbornly insisting the pain was hers and hers alone. "Eden, you are part of this pack. Your pain is the pack's pain, the pack's pain is your pain," he spoke. But the woman didn’t appear to notice, the whelp coming over and putting his hand where Ordan indicated. The alpha watched before moving around towards Silvia, studying the woman’s wounds before leaving. Making his way towards one of the bathrooms, Ordan studied himself in the mirror, noting his bloodshot eyes and pale skin. Resting his head in his hands, the alpha opened the medicine cabinet and rifled through it, searching for and pulling out a bottle of Tylenol before fumbling with the lid. Ordan seemed to be in worse shape then he thought, the alpha coughing harshly as he tossed the pills back and scrubbed his hands before he made his way towards the kitchen to get a glass and water from the kitchen.

It was there he found Sienna, the girl holding Xiulan in her arms who was crying. The alpha snarled at the noise and moved past his daughter towards the cabinet, pulling down a glass and filling it with water. Turning off the faucet, the alpha stood there, watching the girl. “Sienna, kindly find something to do.”

“I don’t know what to do. Saul brought her and I can’t find anything with which to feed her. I guess that is why she is crying.”

The alpha closed his eyes as he sipped at the water. “Jaehwa should have brought formula back, enough to cover a little while. It’s either in the cabinets somewhere or his room.”

“I doubt he likes us.”

Ordan’s eyes closed and he heaved a sigh of annoyance, the alpha setting his glass on the counter and rifling through the cabinets, pulling out a can of powdered formula. “He’ll learn.”

Ezra flinched as she pleaded, she didn’t want him to see, but if he didn’t see then she would, the werewolf did not comply with what she wanted. She could be mad or angry, he didn’t care if she was as long as it was point at him he wouldn’t blame her. Ezra understood that he would be blamed for going against her wishes but he wouldn’t let that stop him from taking the pain away. From the moment he had made contact as instructed, he felt nothing but his own weariness however as time passed and he did feel a shift, Elias had been the first to react. The wolf was metaphorically in a ball and Ezra found himself wanting to do the same. It was quick, a wave of emotionally pain making Ezra clutch his head like he had a migraine. First it was bits and pieces, fragments of glass remaining painful reminders to Eden. His face contorted while he gritted his teeth as he felt each of the painful beatings that were starting to take place in his mind from her experience. That was just the beginning to her suffering, and when more traumatic events occurred it just wasn’t pain but shame filling him—he felt it all pooling from Eden like it was a trickling stream turning into a ravenous waterfall. That was merely the beginning.

Silvia was oblivious to the pain, she had to be, her eyes narrowing on the wound along her stomach. The healer was quick at work, and making sure Ezra kept skin contact, she didn’t want Eden feeling this one. The pale haired werewolf began stitching the skin, repairing the damage as best she could while Eden’s body would begin to heal slowly from the inside out. She would bandage every single wound, place salves on them as well. The healer was dedicated to doing this right, Isabella fighting to slow down enough to have unnecessary movement. However when Ezra grunted and snarled, she clenched her teeth as she worked. He felt it all and saw it all, he would be the best bet to help encourage healing along her internal organs if there was damage that could be fixed. Snagging a pair of medical rings and clips she went in quickly to finish the grotesque work. She was stained from the elbow down as she worked, using sponges to clean and cloths to apply pressure. That’s when Ordan left, Silvia flashing him a wary eye, her mind stressing on keeping track of Eden that she hadn’t heard a thing he said other than coaching Ezra on what to do. Then, she turned away with an aggressive vengeance to stop blood clots and other deadly scenarios from popping up as she worked.

Elias whined, their words causing even more frustration to what they could not do for the pair. Ezra felt the guilt consume him, everything he was feeling had been fresh and ten times as worse for Eden and Ellie. “They are dead, each and every last one,” Elias snarled, though he managed to grind that through the pain, his head bobbed down as tears even fell from the corner of his eyes as new images and different kinds of isolation enticed the loneliness and fear brought on with the feeling. He could feel regret, his own emotion, but it had been drowned out as his eyes squeezed shut, Elias couldn’t manage to say anything else, not as the physical pain with each wound Silvia healed came at him. His gut was stinging as if the muscle tissue was sawed through and then forcefully put back together. He felt the prickling and then burning sensation along his other side where Silvia has not yet stitched back together or cleaned yet, and the panicked sensation coming from Eden as she relented from wanting to have the pain taken from her had him looking deranged to an extent. His green eyes morphing and changing, darkening as Elias wanted control but didn’t, his body reacting quickly to the overwhelming senses that it wasn’t having moments ago.

Almost finished Eden and Ellie—then you can rest.”

Eden whimpered softly as she laid there, watching as her mate's expression contorted with pain- it was difficult to watch but it was the only thing she could bear to peer at. Her hand hesitantly lifted to Ezra's other hand, squeezing his hand tightly. Her eyes glistened with tears as all of her physical pain was shared with him. "Ezra..I'm so sorry.." She whispered, her heart aching. Along with the memories of torture, violations, and everything over the past months, Ellie managed to share a weak, faint memory of her choosing him to be her mate to distract him. Her eyes swirled with their golden tone until finally, a vivid golden took over her hues. "Elias..mate.." She whined and frowned when she heard him threatening those who hurt her. Her eyes snapped up to his silvery ones as he growled and snarled in agony, the last large wound being stitched. She could feel her skin being tugged and pulled at, the needle slowly being pushed through each side. Another whimper left her lips and her grip on his hand tightened weakly. "Look at me, Elias.." She whispered.

Ordan Sienna
Kitchen to Infirmary (Ordan)/Kitchen to Living Room (Sienna Xiulan)
"What if he doesn't come to accept Saul or myself?"

Ordan answered this with silence on his end as he went back to the cabinets, pulling out a bottle and then mixing up a bottle with the formula and water before putting it into a pot to heat up. "Father?"

"Jaehwa is mine, as well any concubines I choose to bear future children,"
spoke Ordan. "You, Saul, Jaehwa and his wolf will need to learn to come together as a family, if not for any of your benefit then for mine. Someday, perhaps in the future, he will become your stepfather, my concubines your stepmothers. Hopefully good stepmothers that will not try to harm you or your brother, nor my goddaughter Xiulan, Jaehwa's adoptive child." Ordan frowned as he considered his words before sighing and waited on the bottle, the child fussing in his daughter's arms. Ordan lifted a hand to his mouth and coughed again, even as he heard growling and grunting from the infirmary, the alpha's brows raising...he hoped to the wolven gods that the whelp was not stupid enough to breed with Eden or the alpha would be castrating the whelp. Perhaps it had to do with the boy attempting to take Eden's pain from her. Ordan happed it was the latter. Frankly, he would be surprised if the whelp managed to pull that ability off, given how young he was...Ordan was still fine tuning his own wolf abilities.

Sienna fell silent at her father's words, Ordan turning his head towards the stove and pulling out the bottle. Testing the milk on his wrist and placed it in the freezer, turning the stone off and dumping the water out into the sink. Turning the faucet on, he ran his wrist underneath the water before turning it off and looking and waiting for the milk to cool, checking it five minutes later against his wrist and handing it to Sienna. "Take her and go to the living room if you wish...you do know how to hold an infant yes?"

SIenna nodded and left, Ordan turning his head back towards the sink though his daughter's coughing made him turn slightly. "Yes Sienna?"

"I don't feel at all comfortable here...and Saul...Saul and yourself scare me."

Silence echoed within the kitchen as the alpha listened to his daughter's words, detecting no lie within her statement. Ordan remained silent, his eyes closing. "You and your brother are free to leave if you wish or stay if you wish. I will not force you to remain here if you are uncomfortable or force you to leave if you wish to stay," Ordan finally responded. "Nobody will stop you two if you wish to leave and none will keep you from staying, on that you have my word," said Ordan. He listened to his child leave the kitchen, her footsteps fading, eyes opening which were awash with pain and sorrow that none would realize as he was staring at the wall of the kitchen, his eyes going towards the window over the sink.

Despite the hurt and honesty of his child, he could not blame her for fearing him or her brother though he had not the slightest idea, other than it might be due to them being werewolves. Perhaps she was just out of her element here, being the only human within the pack and off limits to his pack of eating or hurting in any way, as was his son, but his son was a wolf and could protect himself better. As Zumitri had been off limits. Ordan's hands tightened as he placed them on the sink, gripping the metal edge as he stared at his reflection within the mirror before pushing himself away and turning, striding back towards the infirmary. Briefly glancing at Ezra, the alpha turned his gaze upon Eden who paid all attention towards the whelp. So...she really does seem to truly care for him in the way a couple cares for each other...

Seeing that seemed to destroy anything left the alpha had within him for the female, any caring tendencies beyond his pack mate needing him as her alpha and protector. Something that would undoubtly change when she left with the others...barring Jaehwa and Xiulan of course, his goddaughter likely never accepted among humans as she had been potentially unwanted by her blood. Turning towards Silvia, he studied the healer before speaking. "How is Eden?" he questioned. "Will she live?"

The male werewolf flinched, he was trying to take as much as he could, he wouldn’t allow her to feel a thing despite his own discomfort. He hadn’t even realized Silvia was nearly done, his ears tuned to just Eden and Ellie. Ezra wasn’t usually so optimistic, but he couldn’t help but be happy in some sense that Eden would get better. Ezra felt a touch though, one that he didn’t feel through the shared connection. It was difficult to decipher which she felt and what he felt, everything becoming muddled. The werewolf barely had the energy to peak his hues open, though Ezra was taking his turn and letting Elias take up physical speech while they juggled the brunt of the pain and emotions. It was hard to contain the pain, he sometimes lost his grip nearly letting it return to Eden before he pulled back at it and away from her. It was endearing and painful, but that didn’t matter, what did matter was the faint glimpse of something bright. Even Elias silenced himself to bask in it for a moment before they were engulfing themselves again. “Apologize—to no one,” he informed, tone strained and restricted as beads of sweat dripped down his brow.

As that occurred, Silvia was quickly finishing, her hands making quick work to wrap—sadly already bloodied bandages around her wounds. Silvia’s hands’ were coated in the substance, the all too familiar stench circulating around her like a leech sticking to her lungs. Her hands stained the once clean gauze and she wiped them several times against her pants before shrugging it off and securing it around her waist. The pale haired werewolf was concentrating, cleaning up one of the last deadly wound when Ordan came back. Bringing her weary hues up the the brute her shoulders sagged as he inquired about Eden, “She’ll live. Now she has to heal on her own, from what I saw transferred...she’ll have to heal from the trauma before being any better,” she informed with a heavy sigh. Now that the major bleeding was no longer a problem, Silvia shimmied around the medical bed—table? She couldn’t remember what it was anymore, but nevertheless Silvia moved around to inspect a wound on her arm, it would need bandaged and then there were other wounds that could be inspected after some sleep on Eden’s part. “She’ll make it,” she seemingly spoke out of her own relief. Ezra however still looked strained, his attention on Eden and Ellie as the physical torment turned into sore and stinging pangs. It was the heavy memories that were causing the pain now, and if taking some of it away helped Eden get better he would do it.

Eden felt Silvia combining to work, the light pressure hardly at all- the one thing the female was focused on was the pain Ezra and Elias were in. Tears dripped down her cheeks as she watched his eyes close in pain and overwhelming agony. Ellie stayed in control for the time being while Eden was trying to rest up her strength. She felt horrible for her mate to see what happened to her as he took on her pain and memories from these past two traumatizing months. Ellie's golden eyes held regret and emotional pain, her heart shattering and splintering as he opened his eyes- it was Elias this time. A whimper left her lips as he spoke to her through the pain and squeezed her hand back. Those words made her sniffle, her head slightly nodding in acknowledge. A shaky breath left the female when Silvia was finishing up. It was finally almost over, tiredness taking over her limbs. Her eyes fluttered for a few moments, but with her grip in Elias', she managed to keep her eyes open. During this moment, Ordan entered, catching her gaze for a few moments before she looked back at Elias and Ezra, her grip reassuring and supportive. Finally, hearing Silvia move away and wipe her hands on her pants, Ellie looked towards the medic and alpha with a tired but thankful and filled with gratitude. "Thank you.." She whispered before closing her eyes slowly, letting her body relax. Feeling Ezra/Elias pulled his hand away carefully, the pain ebbed but was still there. After a few moments, she opened her eyes and looked towards Ezra with a concerned look. "Are you and Ezra okay? God, I'm so sorry.." Ellie murmured feebly and kept her grip on his hand. "W-We tried to warn you.." The female sniffled, her eyes filling with renewed tears.

Ordan
Infirmary
Ordan closed his his eyes as Silvia finished stitching up Eden and spoke in the affirmative that Eden would live and now needed to recover from the trauma she had gone through in order to properly heal as well as heal on her own. "I see," said Ordan as he processed this information. "The venom will help heal her but it will take time with that much trauma...I strongly suggest serving as a counselor as needed for her," he spoke. "She is lucky she has a pack and a...mate...to anchor her, lest she go feral. That is a...difficult thing to come out of." The alpha considered Silvia for a while silently, watching as she appeared stressed and exhausted. "Go...get some rest in your room or something...you are, of course, free to sleep with Adesina in the alpha room now that you are...mates I suppose," he said. "We will leave Eden in the infirmary for now and then, if it is safe, transport her to her room...thank you Silvia. You've done a good job though this is a problem I will need...correcting. For now, do not concern yourself with anything." Ordan appeared tired himself but gestured for Siliva to take her leave and get some rest, the alpha not seeming to want to take any objections on the matter. "Adesina...you should retire as well, given it's day. I have to thank you as well for bringing Eden back home where she belongs. The wolves can watch the house, barring Silvia and the puppies." Ordan seemed to ignore the blood dripping from his hand where his son had accidently bitten him and was completely ignoring Ezra and Eden altogether, his hand stinging but ignoring it, since that wasn't the only pain the alpha was feeling...his body still reacting towards his testing through small spasms of pain that hit his nerves.

Shaded Shaded (Silvia) Eliruz Eliruz (mentioned Adesina, Eden)

Akachi Malachi Icarus
Illyria Corporation
Akachi arrived at Illyria Corporation after taking a quick tour around the town, though he didn't head to the outskirts of Ithawell as he had a business to run. If he had, he would have seen a wolf sleeping and covered in blood within the shelter of the ruins, hidden from sight, but life was not easy for a member of the Blood Order and a businessman. Pulling into the employee parking lot, he removed Malachi from the carseat and carried him inside where he saw Icarus mopping the floors, his vaewolf employee looking up. "Anything interesting happen boss?"

"Nothing," said Akachi. "How is business?"

"Good. They're quiet," he gestured towards the animatronics around them which had been programmed not to attack employees of the corporation or of the Blood Order. As they passed one of the machines, Malachi stared and began screeching, the Shadow looking at the plushie machine that was stuffed full of dinosaur plushies at Basilia's insistence and handed the infant over towards Icarus who walked over at his boss's look. Taking the child, Akachi knew the animatronics wouldn't hurt Malachi, the child's face being programmed into the facial recognition software of the bunny animatronic. He knew Basilia would kill him if anything happened to her adoptive son. He would program the child of Basilia and Ken, wherever Ken was, when it was born into the animatronics as well. Fishing out a quarter, he put it in the machine and began manuvering the claw, though he could have just opened it up. He would be getting it back anyway at the end of the day as Malachi raised a hand towards Icarus's beard and tried grabbing it, the vaewolf leaning slightly away from the child.

Manuvering carefully, he got a triceratops plushie from the machine and after crouching to retrieve it, handed it to the infant who clutched it to him. "Finish mopping and get the tables cleaned as well as the counter. You can take a break until opening time in a couple hours," said Akachi as he took the infant back. "I'll be in the office if you need me."

"Sure Akachi," said Icarus, handing the child over and heading towards the mop again which he'd leaned against the counter. While Icarus went back to work, happy for his job and the sanctuary he had here, Akachi looked towards the stage where a bat and a tiger were standing. Shaking his head, he turned and headed into the back, Malachi gurgling all the while to which the Shadow smiled.

Sienna Xiulan
Living Room

Carrying Xiulan and the bottle of formula to the living room, Sienna flopped down into a chair and stared at the television before setting Xiulan on her lap and grabbing the remote off a side table. Turning it on, she looked for something interesting to watch as she then picked up the bottle which she had set down for a moment before adjusting her grip on the infant and putting the bottle to her mouth, Xiulan sucking hungrily from the bottle. She was not sure what to do. She wanted to get to know her father but she seemed to be the only human here and though the children were off limits, there was no guarantee others would see the children that way. What do I do?

Lazarus Nomvula Serenity Vladimir
Celestial Order Headquarters
After fading from Elwin's sight, Lazarus had gone to headquarters as asked and begun cleaning it up and checking out supplies they had such as weapons. Seeing there was no food, he used the money Vladimir had given him to stock the cabinets with self-stable food and the fridge as well with milk, juice, soda and alcohol. He then went hunting once groceries were bought and hypnotized some humans to come with him, even taking a risk and hunting within the territories for any hikers or backpackers that would not be missed, bringing them back to headquarters but not taking too many, just enough to get the group by for now. Lazarus had chosen a room in headquarters, the rest of the group would be bunking together near the mess hall where he had found a large sleeping quarter wing...actually three which was amazing.

Nomvula rushed into the underground bunker, alerting Lazarus and he stood from the lounge he had found where the Celestial Order could apparently hang out and relax on one of the upper levels of the bunker. "Where is she?!"

Vladimir and Serenity appeared next, the dhamphir closing the door behind her as the lights flickered on. "She's somewhere in a pack...Lichen I think under some alpha's control and ownership. The guy's name is Blake and the one that bought her had nothing to do with her kidnapping. He has apparently been missing for some time," spoke Lazarus, understanding the woman's anger and hoping she wouldn't attack him.

"Nomvula…desist at once," said Vladimir. "We will get the cousin back...it will take time. For now, I think it best we get a tour, eat and recover from our trip here."

Lazarus nodded. "The place is heavily secured, the organization was never found and the traps and security remain in place though the power needs to be restored to much of the compound," spoke Lazarus.

"That is understandable," said Vladimir. "I trust everything else is in order?" The group's voices faded as they headed further down into the compound.

Khenan
Boreal House

Khenan had showered and dressed before deciding to explore the house, trying to figure out the layout and so that was what he was doing while waiting for someone to show him the scouting thing they were supposed to be doing for the morning. He doubted the vampire beta would be showing him around, even if she had ended up saying they would be patrolling tomorrow since it was daylight out. He couldn't imagine that she would end up being anywhere but inside and so that probably left the alpha and the other werewolf beta.

Cora/Mako Tealeaf
Hideout

Cora watched out from window of abandoned house, that she and her sister had taked over from homeless people two months ago. From first she had been with her sister's plan, that they could live with them, using them as cover. But as they moved there, Cora had heard what hobos were planned to do with her and her sister (thinking that they were just two kids) after also hearing what hobos had done before, even Mako wasn't disgusted from making them perish.

Only thing had been that all of them had stink so bad that either had drinked from them and Mako, who wasn't much of fighter, was exhausted from it. So they had left to seek out blood to themselves. That had ended them to found slave market, were they had get bit of blood and after bit of infighting they brought one slave that, by look only, looked older than either of them. Money to buy her, Cora had saved from hobos, before dumping them far from house and savings they had.

It had been close call to buy slave, as soon there started rumors of vampires and werewolves to spread in town. And when there were rumours, hunters weren't far behind. After 200 vampire years, Cora had always when hunter had started to track them, maked sure that knowledge of them stayed in that hunter to his or her coffin, were hunter ended, before she and Mako moved out of town.

As Cora stopped looking out, she heard giggling from kitchen. She had started nearly regretting of buying Fayette, after they had get back to house, as Mako had said that they were going to keep Fayette and help her to find her sister. Cora's protest had flight out of window like bat, but least she had succeeded to keep Fayette as reusable food source, even if they would drink from her once of 2 weeks. Finding tracks of Fayette's big sister had turned to be really hard, as it seemed that slave market has gone underground to 2 months and Cora also needed to kick off ways to get money, to feed their slave, who at least cleaned house bit, when Mako wasn't playing with her.

The pale haired werewolf glanced over to Ordan, her head nodding as he explained that the venom could only do so much. The healer tilted her head towards Eden, eyes on the familiar form but she was bandaged practically everywhere at this point. “We have each other as a pack, that alone is more than enough to help, don’t forget the rest of us are here for you too Ordan, and thank you for being there when you don’t have to,” she could agree to helping counsel Eden, she would also need physical therapy in some sense, but she tried not to come up with what she still needed and focused on what she had currently. “Of course, I could never picture myself doing anything else—I’ll do this as many times as any of you need,” she directed the last bit towards Eden or Ellie as she thanked the healer and Ordan, Silvia hadn’t ever really considered doing anything else despite the pressure it brought with it. “Yes, a quick break sounds nice,” she murmured before nodding to Ordan, however as she moved to walk past the taller brute she stopped, “but you should get some rest yourself, you aren’t looking like yourself,” she advised before slipping past the brute. The healer grinned tiredly at the group remaining, she agreed that keeping Eden in the infirmary would do good for the time until they could move her, so she turned to Adesina in the doorway. “Come on—you should get some rest yourself,” she encouraged stretching out her hands before she realized they weren’t exactly clean. “Op, sorry,” she rushed back to the infirmary to clean her hands.

Ezra however had kept a hold on Eden’s hand, Elias making sure the female werewolf was aware their presence wasn’t going anywhere. The werewolf was handling the aftermath of taking away the pain, it was more of dull ache now as his eyes opened to take in Eden’s once gravely wounded form. “Our choice to take away,” Elias rumbled, he wasn’t as strained as before, in fact he seemed to be regaining some kind of stamina as Ezra was huddled up trying to recover himself. “Mate can’t suffer, our job is to protect,” he continued, now that the brunt of the force had been handled, Elias was beginning to properly appreciate the term mate, the word rolling off of his tongue and he was quick to relish in the feeling of being accepted again. Ezra had been fearful of getting too close when at the camp and when he found out why he was enraged, then he couldn’t just sit by. Now that he knew the extent, it was the guilt that was creating most of the pain for him now. Ezra let a sigh leave his body, trying to relax himself as his eyes flashed towards Silvia as she went to go wash her hands and Ordan who had helped. “We thank you,” Elias rumbled, dipping his head to the werewolf, Ezra was still quite bitter but Elias surprisingly was not towards the brute.

Eden laid there, feeling stiff and uncomfortable as every part of her body was nearly covered in bandaging. She would've made a joke about it, but her energy for anything other than speaking in a quiet, nearly feeble voice was all she could muster. Resting her head back and letting her golden hues flicker up to glance over at Silvia as she replied. A small smile lifted Eden's lips and her wolf rumbled in a quiet thank you before she ended up coughing a bit. A dribble of blood trickled down her lips, which she tried to wipe away but the bandages made it difficult for her to move, so she simply just left it. "Can't believe pack and mate came back. We nearly lost hope," Ellie murmured and let her golden hues flickered around the room at everyone. She was finally home with her pack, but from this day forward, nothing would be the same for the female. It would be difficult to accept a loving touch from her mate, but with a bit of help from Silvia and her pack, the female was sure it'd be okay. A thought popped into the back of her mind and her golden hues lifted towards the door. Taking in the faint scents outside the room, her eyes widened and she fought to lift herself up. "Arya? Soraya? Where are you? I smell you.." Ellie called out into the darkness of the hallway where Adesina was with Arya.

On the floor in front of the alpha was an ebony haired woman with a few bleeding wounds, but it wasn't as bad as Eden's. Her tanned form was shaky, though, as Adesina worked with what materials she got. Back in her time, women were taught medical procedures in case of emergencies, seeing how some lived in the middle of nowhere and would need as many medical skills as they could acquire. She finished up the tanned woman's last stitch and helped her up, the ebony haired female growling softly in frustration and pain. "I thank you, Adesina, was it?" Arya thanked the alpha before her glowing blue hues snapped forward towards her newfound friend from the camp. Limping to the door, her figure came into the light. Her frame was quite athletic and fairly proportioned with good amount of rear and bust. Her features were soft and greatly contrasted by her stunning blue hues. "I am here, Ellie. Looks like you're in worst shape than I am," the female chuckled, her accent showing through; it was almost a Latina accent but seems derived from a more exotic place, "I'm just glad you're okay." Adesina watched the two and sighed gently, finding her mate in front of her and tried to reach out with bloodied hands. A soft chuckle left her lips and she moved past Arya and Ezra to wash her own hands from both Eden's and Arya's blood. "It's quite alright, darling. I just had to finish up with Arya's wounds; she had just arrived there a few weeks before the rescue mission. Luckily, she wasn't hurt too bad. She was Eden's cell mate, so she helped us get out and save her." Turning to Ordan, who seemed completely not himself, Adesina furrowed her brow but wiped off her now clean hands with a rag. She lifted a hand to Ordan's shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Thank you, Ordan. I'll just," she glanced towards Arya with a faint smile, "I'll find a place for her to rest for now, and when I'm done resting, we can figure out what to do with her."

While she spoke, Arya glanced towards the male next to the other alpha and felt her wolf stir from her slumbering state. Soraya caught a glimpse of Ordan and immediately began chattering, obviously pleased with their choice to help. "Male seem sick, but very fine man. Maybe should snag before other females snag," the wolf purred mentally before Arya studied him and mentally responded to her wolf. "He's the alpha, don't kid yourself, Soraya, though I admit, he is a very fine man." Looking away casually, the female rested her athletic frame against the doorway and mentally shoved her wolf away, who just pouted. After a few moments of letting the alpha speak, Arya spoke up. "I'd be glad to help around here if you'd like. I can fight and hunt. I typically train everyday, well..until those hijos de perras kidnapped my two other siblings and I. I'm sure they somehow got out, I didn't see them in any cells when I went back to look." The female huffed out of annoyance and ran a hand through her messy ebony tresses. Adesina eyed the female and looked towards Ordan with a cocked eyebrow. "I mean, she is strong. She fought along side Ezra and I when getting Eden out, so should we let her join? We could use the extra hands." Adesina asked through the mind link between the two alphas, her silver hues flickering towards Arya.

Ordan
Infirmary

The brown haired alpha looked towards Silvia as she spoke of the pack always being there and that he wasn’t alone in this. “It’s my job to be concerned for you lot, even our resident vampire,” said Ordan. As Silvia said she would rest but that he should rest and wasn’t looking well, the alpha just gazing at her tiredly before waving her concern off. “There’s a territory that needs patrolling and a bloody pup who needs put in its place,” he growled, running a hand down his face, speaking of his son. “I have things to do in town that need thinking over and planning.” Namely what he was going to do about his investment and he still had to find Zumitri’s boy.

“Puppy mate threats...” came Achilles tiredly in his head, the wolf uncurling from his prime position. The alpha tunes inwardly to Achilles buy his other half did not elaborate, the wolf appearing slow in words and sluggish. Ordan turned his head briefly towards Ezra as, the whelp’s wolf he gauged, spoke and thanked him for helping.

“That is my job and I suggest you control your human side. Eden is a good hunter and good person from what little I know of my pack mates. I hope you are smart enough to realize what a previous gem you have and not tarnish or hurt her.”

Ordan turned towards Eden, striding towards her as she calls out to someone and looks up, crouching before her and tilting her head up. The alpha said nothing as he peeked her lids back, his good eye flicking back and forth as he examines her before removing his hand and sighing. “I will rest,” Ordan aquacised, “in time.” As Adesina places her hand on his shoulder, Silvia turning to go wash her hands of blood, the A snarl escaped the alpha as he turned his attention fully on her and then Adesina. “Who the fuck are you?!” He snapped in irritation, ignoring the women in the house as he stared at the injured female. Was he going to have to start carrying in his own home? Not like that was an issue but it was an inconvenience.

Hearing Adesina explain that she would put the stranger somewhere within the house, the alpha’s eyes narrowed to slits, the stranger speaking in her defense, trying to list her abilities in hunting and fighting. Achilles was too weak currently to comment or notice much to which the alpha was grateful. He couldn’t deal with his wolf at the moment. As for the woman’s words concerning her familia, the alpha‘s snarl grew. Catching his other alpha’s eye as she began speaking, the alpha turned from the vampire and began pacing, taking no notice of Jae or the other stranger in his home. “Put it in an omega room, far from my children and Jaehwa. You will execute it if it shows any hostility towards my children, Xiulan included, or Silvia, we cannot afford to lose our healer.”

Oliver & Rhea
Unknown
The pair of wolves made their way through the territory of Lichen, continuing their search through Rhea’s use of Anla and the siblings’ memory copies and empathy Rhea had performed on the rogue that were shared with her brother. Dried blood coated Oliver’s chest as they made their way through Lichen territory and possibly outside it as they didn’t recognize the area. “I think close brother.”

Oliver turned his head towards his sister, the pair of siblings moving at a slower pace as Pliver cloaked then both, both relying on their respective visions; Oliver his night vision and Rhea her infrared perception. He said nothing as they moved forward over the ground, bodies slinking low as they slunk now over the earth, bodies taut. The pair had all night, or Oliver did...his sister having twenty-four hours. To their frustration-confused surprise, there were no traps as they expected. Was they arrived in the stew where Rhea detected the rogue’s presence, she huffed and gave her brother a look.

They moved through the area, eyes searching their surroundings but did not expect to see the bodies lying strewn on the ground, the cages and shoddy dwellings. “Fan out,” Oliver growled, his sister nodding as the two took different directions but found only body after body, blood soaked into the earth, staining the grass crimson. “They’re mostly dead? Oliver questioned himself. He was lurking within a makeshift cell underground, dug into the earth when his sister appeared behind him. “Anything?”

“I found a few still alive...but looks like someone or something was here before us. Someone did our job before us,” said Rhea hesitantly. Her brother did not snap at her for once, instead staring at the wall.

“Looks like werewolves were here and I know it was not Lichen. There’s blood and silver dust here. Looks like they were here recently, the one you passed is quite fresh as are the ones I passed.”

“Blinding pain?”
Rhea paused for a moment before speaking. “The ones I passed are fresh as well...but vicious...like animals tore them apart.”

“Well, humans have a habit of considering us monsters. Correct. You said there were some still alive?”

“Yes.”

“Well, then let’s go question those left alive.”

Ellie closed her eyes for a few moments, letting her body relax when she finally knew Arya was here, safe. A small smile lit her lips and she opened her lids to look at the ebony-haired female only to find blackness. The female jerked forward, her hands scrambling to grab ahold of the bed on either side of her trembling and bandaged frame. A shaky breath left her as she blinked rapidly, nothing seeming to work. Ellie's control quickly crumbled and out came a frightened Eden. "W-Who turned out the lights? This isn't funny, guys.." She murmured nervously until she caught sight of a shadow in her dark gaze. That's when she started noticing that there were shadowy figures in her dark vision; she didn't know why but her sight was slowly darkening. With a trembling hand, the female lifted a hand to the figure to her right, which was Elias, her hand coming into contact with his warm shoulder. She quickly retracted her hand and quickly looked around. Her green hues had a milky film over the pupil now, which Arya spotted first. The tanned female growled quietly and quickly moved around the table towards her cell mate. "Hold still, Eden," she murmured and carefully grabbed a hold of her face, a grainy residue burning her fingers lightly. Looking around, the female requested the rag from Adesina, which the alpha hesitantly handed over. Carefully wiping the area around and above her eyes, Arya pulled it back and frowned as she studied it. "W..What is it, Arya? I-Is it that stuff they threw at us before we were rescued?" The huntress whispered, her eyes frantically trying to focus on the shadows in front of her but couldn't make out the outline of anyone. Arya brought the rag to her nose and took in the scent of the grainy substance only to growl in response, which caused Eden to jump a bit. "They threw some kind of silver power in your eyes. Can you see anything at all?" The rogue asked, pulling away and lifting two fingers. At that distance, Eden could see a faint outline of her figure but her entire form was just a silhouette of the busty female. "I see mostly black, but I can see shadows. I-It's like instead of your physical forms, I'm seeing your silhouettes." Eden explained shakily and reached out hesitantly towards the two fingers being held up, her hands copying the two fingers being held up but her hand was trembling horribly. Arya looked towards the medic and sighed. "I don't have any medical practice, but I seriously think whatever kind of silver mixture they threw at us blinded her. I was lucky it only burned my arms, but she was there longer than I was. They tended to..give her more torture time than me at first." Holding the rag, Arya pulled away and slid past the male alpha, setting the rag down in the sink next to Silvia so nobody was hurt by it.

Adesina watched with cautious eyes and leaned forward past Ordan, finding Eden's now emerald hues somewhat milky over the pupils. If she had a beating heart, it would've broken into a thousand pieces and she would've probably passed out. But in this case, she examined her for a moment before grabbing the rag from the sink and giving it a faint sniff only to pull back in disgust. "She's not lying, the substance reeks of silver." Keeping the rag in her hand, Adesina moved back next to Eden and used her clean hand to carefully tilt the huntress' head forward. Eden jumped a bit at the touch, but soon recognized the touch of her female alpha and relaxed a bit. "Maybe it'll go away, Adesina?" She murmured feebly, but Adesina only shook her head. "I've only heard a few stories of elder wolves regaining their sight, but it's rare. We'll have Silvia look at it after you get some rest, maybe it'll clear up with rest." The female tried sounding hopeful, but she was utterly exhausted to the point of needing to feed. Arya moved towards Eden, but stopped when Ordan moved past her.

Ordan
Infirmary

Turned from Eden, Ordan didn’t see the way her eyes were milky white, their normal green glazed over. The stranger got up as behind him, Eden beginning to panic as she started making vocalizations that she could not see. The rogue in his house, that for some reason had been brought to his home, rushed around the side of the table after getting up to get in front of Eden. The alpha turned and lays red, decoding to allow the whelp to handle this issue. Ordan listened, growling as he caught bits of the conversation. “Powder?” Ordan frowned and turned towards Adesina as she grabbed the rag and handed it to the rogue who wiped at and around Eden’s eyes, then moving past the alpha to the sink.

Ordan’s frown deepened as he listened to the rogue and then Adesina slid past him to check Eden before speaking, saying the rogue was speaking the truth and that she was blind. Eden then asked if it would go away and Adesina answered that she had heard of elders getting their sight but it was rare. Grabbing the rag from Adesina, the alpha held it to his nose. Wrinkling his nose as he breathed the power in, Ordan snarled, Achilles starting in his mind. “Silver powder...can cause temporary blindness or lead to permanent. Eden is now an omega until such time as she is healed. She is fortunate it was not liquid silver which would have burned her eyes and made her totally blind.”
Mentioned: Eliruz Eliruz (Eden, Adesina briefly)

Jaehwa had heard Adesina's words, but he hadn't really listened. It had all become a blur, really, all his focus on Eden's mangled body. His gaze then snapped back to the boy--Xen, he reminded himself--and something primal in him took control. He gave in, letting Tarquin handle whatever impulse that was pulsing through his veins at the moment. Soon enough, he was approaching Xen, placing his hands on his shoulders and pushing him backward out of the room. He was practically dragging the poor kid at this point, pulling him along down the hall until they were a decent ways away from the action, the scent of blood fainter than it had been.

"Not something pup should see," Tarquin muttered, to which Xen finally blinked and stared up at the omega's face, panic in his eyes. "Pup, take deep breath." Xen continued to stare, bewildered, unable to process Tarquin's words. The wolf tried again, bending down slightly to meet Xen's eyes better. "Deep breath in. Deep breath out." Finally, Xen seemed to understand. He breathed in as deeply as he could, albeit shakily, before expelling the air out through his mouth. "There. Good pup."

That's when Jaehwa came back, his eyes returning to their normal hue. It took him a few moments to comprehend what had happened. Once he did, he realized that he needed to keep rolling with what his wolf had started. "Are you alright?" he asked Xen, loosening his hold of the kid's shoulders. "Keep remembering to breathe, okay?" The boy nodded, which put Jaehwa at ease. Well, as at ease as he could be. They stayed like this for a while, both taking some sort of comfort from the other. The sounds in the house settled down to something much more mellow after a while, nothing at all like the panicked chaos that had been going on earlier. Xen was doing much better, as well, his breathing returning to normal and his shaking subsiding.

When Xen spoke up, it was difficult for Jaehwa to hear him, but he managed nonetheless. "Thank you," came the boy's gratefulness. Jaehwa nodded, a small smile etching itself onto his features.

"It's no problem. I think I needed to get away from... from all that, too," Jaehwa replied, letting go of Xen's shoulders and straightening his posture. "So... we should probably let Ordan meet you. He'll figure out what to do from there." Xen stiffened at that. Jaehwa could understand his nerves, however, and gave the boy a reassuring pat on the head. "It's okay. He's not as scary as he may look, I promise." Xen swallowed rather audibly, but let Jaehwa lead him back to the healing room, their hands interlocked. There, there was a stranger, but, at this point, Jaehwa was so used to the presence of weird people in their territory that he didn't react too strongly. Besides, Ordan was there as well, which meant that he was probably okay with all this. Probably.

In any case, now was the chance for him to interrupt the conversation. First, Jaehwa needed to figure out what Eden's status was. "How is she?" he asked softly, still holding Xen's hand. The boy stood somewhat behind Jaehwa, almost as if he was using him as a shield. Noticing this, Jaehwa tugged Xen's hand encouragingly. Xen hesitated, still shaken up from everything that had transpired recently, but eventually took a few uncertain steps out from behind Jaehwa. He gave a small wave, making his presence known. Jaehwa couldn't deny the sense of pride that overtook him, but it was soon replaced with concern upon fully taking in Ordan's current state. He looked sick, about as sick as Xen had been a while ago, and that made Jaehwa frown. "Ordan? Are you alright?" he inquired, brows drawn tightly together in worry.

Eden swallowed thickly as she heard shuffling, her small frame pressing into the bed, trembling. She was growing nervous and uncertain, especially now that she had a bigger weakness. What if she wasn't any use to the pack and was just extra baggage to handle? Her heart dropped to her stomach when another thought hit her mind; what if Ezra and Elias couldn't take the pressure of having a blind mate, if it was permanent? The huntress' complexion paled as more and more worries filled her jittery mind. Another voice caught her off guard and made her jump a bit, her milky filmed eyes flickering towards Jae's voice. "Oh, hey Jae.." She murmured feebly, lifting a hand in acknowledgment but mistakenly waving a bit off to a different direction. Arya's eyes snapped forward when she heard another male enter, her brow furrowing but she said nothing, her pale icy hues moving back to Eden and Adesina, who were near Ordan. Keeping her distance, the rogue fiddled with her bloodied clothes. Adesina lifted her wary eyes to Jae's familiar face and she offered a warm smile. "A lot better, though it'll take her awhile to heal fully. She had silver powder thrown in her eyes, so we're hoping she's only temporarily blind. We also, have..well, a guest for awhile." She paused for a moment to find a young boy with pink tresses move from behind Jae, causing Adesina lift a curious brow. "Make that..two guests." Adesina corrected herself before moving towards the doorway and leaning back against the doorframe, waiting for her mate.

Arya's gaze flickered towards Ordan, her brow lifting when she heard a snarl rumble his chest. This excited Soraya, who was fighting for control. The rogue kept a tight reign on her control and simply looked between people, trying not to linger on the dark haired male. "Ordan..name of Alpha? Powerful name," her wolf purred, making the female tense a bit and visually redden a bit. "Be quiet! I'm sure he already has a mate! Everyone seems to here," Arya growled mentally to Soraya who simply pouted once more, chattering on and on about how they should've claimed him the first time they saw him.

Eden inhaled slowly, feeling the presence of her mate next to her but not his touch, which made her hesitant when reaching out. "I-It's not that bad, really. I can see silhouettes of your figures. Like you've turned into shadows almost." She tried to reassure Adesina, but ended up failing terribly. In all honesty, she was very scared to find out if it was permanent. Searching for Ezra's mind link, she pushed her way through and spoke to him mentally. "I..I'm sorry. I know you probably don't want a blind mate, I get it if you aren't..keen on staying with me.." Her tone was a bit stronger, but uncertainty was strongly felt through the mental connection and even an undertone of sadness laced through. Letting her chin drop, she seemed to peer down at the bloodied bandages and kept quiet as she waited in the dead silence for an answer, that she thought would be rejection.

Evangeline had lost a good amount of blood and ended up draining a servant that Oliver had recommended to her. Once full, the female was helped back to Silas' room for the mean time and curled up with the male once more unless he needed to be elsewhere. Not only had she cleaned herself up a bit, but she was also given clothes to change into for the meanwhile so her others could be washed, though she was pretty sure that they were burnt to ashes. As she rested, she went into a similar state like sleeping, but was only in a temporary state of healing. Her features were softened with her slumber-like state and her wounds were slowly healing with the salve that was given to Silas to apply. Her fiery hair splayed messily across the simple set of pillow cases, her chest moving with slow breaths, which was just an instinct on her part. She would still be weak for a few more days to a week, so she planned on moving as little as possible. Then again, there was the problem of her being an outsider and her having to face Blake, the Lichen Alpha, soon. Yet, at this point, she focused on healing faster. Stirring a bit, she shifted a bit and burrowed herself into a pillow that smelled like him unknowingly.

Ordan
Infirmary

The silver dust burned his nose, as he expected, coughing as he removed the rag and tossed it in the sink, his nose burning from inhaling some of the silver dust which knew would mess up his scent for a while. Rubbing at his nose with a hand, much like a dog, he felt faint stirring in his head from Achilles, turning as he saw Jaehwa appear in the infirmary, dragging a boy that smelled of wolf with him, the omega asking if he was alright. “No...Adesina brought some rogue into my house,” he shot the vampire an annoyed look, “and Eden is blind but back where she belongs. She will be omega with Saul for now until, give you some help. Girl pups are together in living room,” he meant Sienna and Xiulan, “and I feel like hell but Adesina and Silvia need to rest for the day. Silvia insists I rest but I’ve things to do in town like tracking down and deciding what to do about Zumitri’s adopted pup, assuming it hadn’t starved.”

Ordan pawed at his nose with his injured hand again, finally yawning as he noticed Adesina preparing to leave. “Curtains closed,” said Ordan. He’d done so sometime last night before falling into bed, knowing dawn rays were hurtful to vampires, though not as potent as noon sun. “Adesina, if you have to, hypnotize Silvia to make her stay in bed,” he spoke mentally to the other alpha. Looking around, the alpha’s eyes lingered on Eden and then slid to Ezra. “Do not touch anything here unless you know what you are doing,” he spoke, “but you may stay with Eden as she is your responsibility and her place hunting until she is better.” The alpha sneezed and turned towards movement behind his mate, Achilles stirring again and growling weakly in his head, the alpha too tired to deal with Achilles at the moment. He needed to go to Ithawell General and check on how progress had stunted on his investment and earn some more money for the pack’s use.

“The rogue will be far from mate and puppies,” Achilles resounded tiredly to Jaehwa, the wolf not speaking thereafter. The alpha shook his head, briefly catching the flush of red on the rogue’s face. “Strange rogue.”

“...Yes....”
Ordan could agree with that. “You helped Eden escape?” These words were directed to the rogue, the alpha’s eyes closing as he leaned his weight against a bed.

Jaehwa | Xen
scorpiodragon scorpiodragon Eliruz Eliruz

Something in Jaehwa froze up when he saw Eden's milky gaze. His eyes flickered about, trying to see who had the answers, but it turned out that was unnecessary. His first inquiry was enough, Adesina explaining everything to him. Well, nothing about how they found Eden nor what state she'd been in and why, but he could only begin to assume things from the information Adesina provided. Silver powder? Thrown in her eyes? It was horrible, heart-wrenching, even, and Jaehwa swallowed. He looked to his injured packmate with sorrow, feeling terrible on her behalf. Temporarily, he forgot the child whose hand he was holding. When Adesina mentioned having two guests instead of just the one girl he saw, he blinked a few times before looking to Xen, who still stood there awkwardly.

Hearing Eden mention how she can see, but only of silhouettes and shadows, made Jaehwa even sadder. It seemed to make Xen feel worse, too, for his grip on Jaehwa's hand tightened. "I'm so sorry, Eden," Jaehwa felt the need to say. "I'm relieved you're alive, though." He smiled softly at her, even though he knew she probably wasn't able to see the expression. "I promise to help make things easier for you in any way I can."

Then came Ordan's response to Jaehwa's question as to whether or not he was feeling okay. The answer Jaehwa received was one he kinda expected. Of course, Ordan wouldn't mention if something really bad was happening to him. Then again, it was possible that it was really just the stress of Eden's wounds and the newcomers in their house that was making Ordan look so stressed and worn out. Jaehwa could only hope that he would be able to help. Things weren't as bad as they seemed. It would all work out at one point or another. It had to.

Hearing that the girl pups were in the living room, Jaehwa nodded, understanding who Ordan was referring to after thinking about it for a second. As far as tracking down Zumitri's adopted pup went, though... Jaehwa glanced at Xen again, who had stuttered something about Zumitri earlier. It wasn't hard to put two and two together. The boy was looking to Ordan with wide eyes, his mouth hanging open as if he was debating saying something. Jaehwa didn' have the time to encourage the pink-haired boy, however, as soon enough Achilles was speaking to him about the rouge. "Thank you," Jaehwa replied, Tarquin humming in approval.

Xen let go of Jaehwa's hand abruptly, stepping forward. "Uhm, you... You don't have to track me down," he said quietly, finally speaking up. "I'm right here." His gaze trailed down to his feet. "I stayed here. And I... I kinda ate your food, too. B-But I didn't touch anything else, I swear."

Ordan
Infirmary

Ordan nodded as Jaehwa thanked them for letting him know about the rogue not being anywhere near Jaehwa or Xiulan. “Pup is being fed, or she was. I sent them to living room.” Jaehwa spoke of being sorry for Eden’s state, before he turned to look at the the boy behind him, the alpha opening his own. Turning to look at the boy, the alpha snorted at the whelp’s punk hair but narrowed his eyes as the whelp spoke up, stepping away from Jaehwa and looking at Ordan, the alpha’s head tilting as it spoke. As the boy spoke of not needing to look for Zumitri’s pup, the boy said that was him and then spoke of how he had eaten the food left here and hadn’t touched anything. Ordan couldn’t sense that the boy was being deceitful though pain-guilt flashed across his face at the boy’s confirmation.

“Now mate, though not mark yet, mate puppy move nursery. Mate move alpha room...Adesina...healer mate...other half room.”
This was said by Achilles to both Jaehwa and Tarquin.

“You’re Zumi’s boy? The one that survived another mistake of mine?” Ordan questioned tightly. Ordan again raised a hand to his dead eye, rubbing at it, as if he could feel the knife still there. The alpha frowned, Achilles momentarily taking control as he moved their body towards Xen, eye turning silver as he stared at the whelp and leaned close to inhale the whelp’s scent, best he could with his scent being messed up.

“Friend puppy... not... smell traitor... slave.” The words drifted from Achilles as he stared at Xen before straightening. “We... keep puppy...as favor to old...friend...Ordan.” Glancing at Jaehwa, the silver eye flicked from puppy to mate and back to puppy. “Mate wolf...calm puppy...but...puppy... pained. Proof mate...mate wolf...good mother...us.”

There were pauses in between their words, as if Ordan and Achilles struggled to string proper sentences together. “Zumitri’...said he found an intruder....and I’d rather a...a pup find and eat...food...then...tasteless rat.”

Once more Ordan’s eyes closed, the alpha closing himself off as he consulted with Achilles. The pup being here helped dissolve one thing needing done but though Achilles seemed fine with it, and Ordan could agree they owed it to his friend, Ordan doubted Zumitri had gotten much done in terms of guardianship which could be an issue. “Calm pup. Breathe...slowly. I sense you no lie but...was Zumitri’s death...” the alpha’s face twisted in regretful pain as he considered but the alpha had to know, however, he could sense it would bother the pup. “Did traitor...slave...“ Ordan’s face twisting further, it obviously hurting the alpha to say... “Did Zumitri die quick?”

Jaehwa | Xen
scorpiodragon scorpiodragon

Hearing that Xiulan was being taken care of put Jaehwa at ease. He'd completely forgotten about her for a moment there back when Eden was first brought home; it horrified him to think that he could ignore responsibilities like that. Then again, he supposed it wasn't really his fault. The chaos that had transpired here had made it nearly impossible to focus on anything else. He was lucky he'd managed to think enough to help Xen out. Even then, however, the scent of blood still hung heavily in the air. Jaehwa hoped the teen was holding up okay. He had no idea what had happened to make the boy so frightened when it came to blood--it could just be a natural fear, or perhaps it had something to do with Zumitri's death--but he did know that it wasn't something Xen seemed able to handle at the moment.

In any case, Jaehwa didn't have much more time to dwell on it, for he realized the weight of what Ordan had said. Sienna was feeding Xiulan. His Xiulan. He grit his teeth but eventually forced himself to relax. She wasn't as evil as his mind was making her out to seem. He knew that. Hell, she was Ordan's daughter, for God's sake. There was no way she had any malicious inclinings towards him, let alone little Xiulan. He needed to get over whatever this sense of dread was. It was clouding his mind from thinking rationally. "Xiulan be fine," Tarquin assured him, although there was obvious hesitance there. It wouldn't faze Jaehwa if Tarquin made them both lose their mind if something happened to their pup.

Achilles then spoke to them, much to Tarquin's blatant delight, leaving Jaehwa smiling softly. He supposed Tarquin's excitement was contagious. Either that or perhaps he really was ready to leave Xiulan in the nursery and sleep at Ordan's side. That was a nice thought. "Yes! We sleep with mate. Keep mate company. Puppy can go to nursery," Tarquin declared, elated. Jaehwa found it funny how Tarquin could just read his mind like that. Just so it was clear that he, too, was okay with that arrangement, however difficult it may be to get used to, he nodded slightly.

Xen still looked frightened, which had Jaehwa putting a hand on the boy's shoulder to help soothe his nerves. For a moment, Xen debated shrugging the hand away, but it was too comforting to do something like that. To confirm that he was indeed Zumitri's kid, he bobbed his head up and down somewhat rapidly, having hesitated for a moment before doing so. When Ordan's good eye turned silver and he approached him, however, Xen looked ready to jump back. Jaehwa's firm hand on his shoulder kept him in place, though, and he let himself be sniffed by Achilles.

Jaehwa couldn't hold back the way his face beamed when Achilles called him a good mother; it would've been strange had he not gotten used to Achilles' way of talking. Xen, on the other hand, looked a bit confused by this whole exchange. He was the first to speak up after Achilles was done. "You don't have to keep me if you don't want to..," Xen said, biting his lip. "I don't even know if I want to join a pack. Zumitri said I didn't have to, that he'd take care of me anyway, but--" Xen's voice got caught in his throat. It was painful to talk about Zumitri. He took in a shaky breath, hoping this Ordan fellow would understand what he was trying to get at here. Xen didn't want Ordan to take him under his wing if that meant he'd have to join Custos. He wasn't ready to make that kind of decision yet, still feeling some semblance of loyalty to Nyle, wherever he may be.

Ordan went on to say how he would rather a pup eat the food here than a tasteless rat, which Xen and Jaehwa both understood. Listening more, however, Xen began to stiffen. Jaehwa could feel the boy's muscles tense under his hold, and he looked to Ordan. Although he knew that his alpha needed a sense of closure here, bringing up such memories would do nothing but hurt the teen. Still, Xen followed Ordan's orders and breathed in deeply, deciding he owed this much to the alpha. Ordan deserved to know what had happened. Maybe Xen wasn't ready to tell the full story yet, but... this he could do. So, although he had started to shake again, he kept his gaze steady to meet with Ordan's good eye and cleared his throat. His mouth opened and closed a few times as he tried to find the right words to say. Eventually, he settled.

"I'm sorry," was all that came from him, small in volume but steady overall, despite his shivering body. This wasn't the answer Ordan had been looking for, he could tell, but he didn't have it in him to lie to a friend of Zumitri. It hadn't been quick and painless. He closed his eyes as memories overtook him, the sight of blood, of the beheading of his adopted brother, of the way Zumitri asked him to flee. Jaehwa began to massage his shoulder, which was helping, but not nearly enough. Xen hated this. Hated how weak he'd become. "I'm sorry," he repeated, but it didn't ever feel like it would be enough. "I should've... I should've done something. But by the time I got up from where I'd been thrown against the wall, I... it was too late. Zumitri told me to run, to take my adopted brother and leave, so I did. Er... my wolf did. But little brother... Little brother didn't make it." That was all he could bear to say at this point, his shoulders turned in on himself, entire body shaking. It felt like this was all his fault. "I'm so, so sorry."

Ordan watched and listened, Tarquin appearing in agreement with the idea of Tarquin moving in with them, Achilles rumbling in approval which did nothing for the alpha, mate’s human also appearing in agreement. Jaehwa looked at Ordan as the alpha questioned the boy about Zumitri, the pup looking at him when for a moment it exhibited fear as Achilles had approached. He listened as Xen apologized and spoke of being thrown into a wall, of it being too late by the time he got up. “So....Zumitri died slowly and suffered because of my actions...my mistake,” spoke Ordan, inhaling the silver powder in his nose as he took a sharp breath. “Perhaps it would have been better if I had remained feral....”

The alpha’s voice was a whisper as he spoke, pushing back from the bed he was leaning against. Ordan waved the boy’s apology off. “Zumitri had no idea that he would be killed...neither did you. You carry no blame and Zumitri knows...knew...that. Zumitri likely did not have time to come up with a will or guardian transference....but money can take care of that...”

Ordan coughed as he walked away from Xen and Jaehwa, the alpha blocking out everyone else in the infirmary as his eyes closed, a hand coming to rest on his head, his other hand curling into a fist. Pulling out his phone, he scrolled through his messages and pulled up an image before turning towards Xen and turning the phone to the boy. “Magnus is a bastard and according to Zumitri, he’s a vampire. Old army buddy...hothead like me which has likely been...exacerbated by being a vampire. Serves him right...leaving me to die.”

Ordan coughed again, this time more harshly then before, the alpha’s phone dropping to the floor in the process. “Jaehwa will set you up a room but it is dangerous to be on your own. You can stay here but if you want to leave, I can get you out on the next bus or train, all expenses paid. Humans hunt our kind and it apparently has gotten worse. Jaehwa get Xiulan and come with me. Pup, you can come if you wish or remain here...I’ll have to get your clothes from Zumi’s.”

Ordan turned and stumbled towards the living room, ignoring his phone as he made his way from the infirmary to head outside, trusting Jaehwa to have the car keys.

Oliver & Rhea
Unknown

Oliver shifted back into his human form as the siblings walked through the camp, checking the cells for any prisoners but there seemed to be only dead humans in existence. “There’s nothing worthwhile here. Perhaps we should punish these remaining humans by turning them and having them become the hunted.”

Rhea glanced at her brother, tangerine eyes widening. “Is that wise brother?”

“They did something and as a result we likely have quite a few rogues here that are loose and will cause a disturbance. These humans are responsible for our kind being hurt and tortured, whether they are bitten or pureblood, though it’s probably the bitten as they have no common sense.”

“Blake won’t let bitten creatures into the house.”

“I said nothing about bringing them home Rhea. Learn to listen.” He shook his head as they approached where Rhea had said the still alive humans were held up. “We will question first and then decide. Perhaps turning them will be a bigger death sentence to them then death. The Blood Order will hunt them down. Poetic justice.”

As Mako and Fayette started taking care of plants, Cora get tired of being inside house. She picked up tools that she used breaking in houses, light crossbow and two bolt quivers, one with normal bolts and second with silver bolts. (They were hunting the vampire that turned them, and had met other supernaturals that weren't friendly before) She also checked that she hadn't left her dagger anywhere, before leaving house, cloak covering weaponry that she was carrying.

As she walked at outskirts of town, she suddenly scented smell of fresh blood. For moment she was going to just ignore it, but curiosity won and she headed towards were scent was coming. As she arrived to camp that was nearly destroyed, she noticed that she wasn't only one there. There was one vampire and werewolf already there. She slowed down her speed and sneaked closer, staying under wind so they wouldn't immediately notice her, loading her crossbow, only not choosing bolt yet.

Soon she was close enough to hear about their conversation about alive humans and how vampire was going to turn them after questioning them first. By werewolf's comment that someone wouldn't let bitten get in house, it was clear that these two were purebloods. By now she was sure of one thing she wasn't going to let anyone go through what she had.

As duo get near first human, Cora shot her crossbow. It hit straight to heart of... human. Past both of supernaturals. Before either of them would turn to her, she already loaded another load.

Oliver & Rhea
Unknown
Moving towards the location that Rhea indicated, the siblings fell into mental conversation as he let Rhea take the lead since she had the scent. "What are we going to do with the ones that escaped? The star fire?"

"Let's hope there are no sun-moons among them,"
said Oliver, "they will give us the most trouble but these creatures hate the sun-moons." The vampire frowned to himself as they moved over the earth. Oliver exhaled an annoyed sigh as his mind flashed back to their 'abomination' siblings, born from father and Rhea's mother. "The bloodline exists for a purpose dear sister...we will perform our bloodline duties or terminate if necessary."

"That's why you're a Keeper isn't it? To atone?"

"Don't be ridiculous sister," said Oliver.
He turned to his sister, a feral smile coming to his visage that made Rhea whine and lower her head in the presence of her brother's look and aura that washed over her. "You may be older than I by four moons but sometimes you can exhibit the consciousness of a pup. Oh look, a toy."

Oliver's face split into a murderous grin which was not helped by the insane ferality he was already exhibiting, his aura growing darker as Rhea choked on it. Oliver's mother had been quite the powerful vampire, achieving the rank of General within the vampire's own wealth hierarchy, their father turning into one that was nearly as feared. Father had ended up as a knight in terms of power though could have achieved more with time, had he lived. It was as the siblings were walking towards one of the humans that had, for some odd reason, come out of its shelter, that something whizzed past the siblings and struck the heart of the hunter. Oliver's eyes narrowed and his eyes turned red, the wolf wisely backing away from her brother. The siblings turned, Rhea's nose twitching as she searched for whatever or whoever had shot at them. As her brother's aura became stronger, the werewolf swallowed loudly and turned, bolting for the door and leaving Oliver to deal with the problem...she didn't get far before her brother was on her and had her pinned to the ground, grabbing her neck fur and slamming her into the earth hard enough to dent it.

I hate when the siblings' dark sides appear...there's a reason our parents made Oliver and the other three the assassins of the bloodline.

CLANG!

BANG!

CREAAAKK!

"GET OFF ME, YOU PUTRID WASTE OF FLESH!"
A woman's voice sounded loudly in a yell from the dungeon's bunker door. Everything went quiet for a few moments before the door was literally kicked off of its hinges with a metallic thud against the grassy forest floor. "Did you really have to dismember every guard within a 5 foot radius, Val?" Wheezed a small male, his different colored hues flickering towards a curly haired vixen with glowing amber ones, her gaze flickering to her brother in annoyance. "Would you rather me leave your ass back there?" Valencia snorted before carefully stepping forward with an arm wrapped around Luca's waist. Both siblings carefully stepped over the large metal plate that stuck up from the ground in front of the doorway. Coming into the faint traces of lighted shade, finally the two were clearly seen in the open. The male was dark haired with a green hue and an amber hue much like his sisters. His frame was somewhat shorter than his sister and had a more feminine appearance than most men his age. Valencia was darker than her brother and had long dark curls that fell to her waist in a crazed way with bright amber eyes. Both siblings were covered in blood, but the female the most; her lips were stained red with blood and her chin was dripping with it as well as her arms and hands. Meanwhile, Luca was covered in wounds that were very similar to Evangeline's, but less severe.

Freezing for a moment, Valencia surveyed the area, finding a strange vampire with reddening eyes attacking a wolf who whined and squirmed as if trying to get away. Luca's eyes widened when he spotted the man and wolf, his stomach dropping as memories from only a day ago and previous flooded his mind. His sister narrowed her eyes and carefully moved to get around the two, but knew there would most likely be blood, especially since the male was in some kind of feral state. "Don't pay attention to them," she hissed to her brother, who was now trembling.
