Nervous Wreck
Tibor got very, very embarrassed as it was revealed that he mistook the name.
“Sorry” he spluttered, although not really blushing like it would have been appropriate. “I am terrible with names. I am indeed embarrassed about this. I have no idea how could I mistake something so glaring…”
“That is not really nice from you, indeed” laughed the Gangrel, patting the actor’s shoulder. It almost seemed like he was pressing the smaller man into the ground with the motion… Tibor hissed a bit. The Sheriff quickly relented. “Sorry, sorry…”
He took the youth’s had gingerly but firmly, greeting Ganyemedes with a sincere smile. He didn’t seem to be bothered by the youth’s lighter grasp, and he was careful not to crush him. It was a very well controlled motion, in fact, his hold firm enough to feel nice but not hurting the boy’s slender hand with his paw.
“Of course you can, I prefer my given name anyway. Unlike our beloved thespian here who is prone to change his in every few years. Well then, although it is very nice to see you, Ganyemedes, I am afraid I have to take Tibor away for a few minutes. I have some minor business to settle with him, intimately, then you can get your mentor back. Would that be all right?”
The actor smiled.
“But first, we should go inside, Daniel. I think Dana would be glad to show Ganyemedes around the house while we talk, and Ilya promised some food for him…”
