IMANI A. PRINCE

BASICS
Name:
Imani Azalea Prince
Nickname(s): Mani, NiNi
Age: 17
Year: Junior
Birthday: February 22nd
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Twitter Handle: @manibear
Club/Society Memberships: Track (Sprinter), The Hens

APPEARANCE
Height:
5'3
Weight: 132 lbs
Eye Color: Light Brown
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Body Modifications: Imani has gotten two cartilage piercings that are identical on both of her ears. She's had her earlobes pieced since birth, but decide to pierce her upper earlobes as well. Her final piercing appears on her stomach, as she finally got a belly button piercing on her 16th birthday.
Distinguishing Features: Imani's dark and smooth skin has always been distinguishing enough for her, but she has a light dimple on her right cheek when she smiles.
Style: Imani loves fashion, but in a more casual and lowkey sense. She'd rather wear the newest edition of Jordan's than buy a new pair of Christian Louboutin heel's. It's safe to say she knows how to pair an outfit, but unlike many other girls her age she'd rather not wear a dress or heels. Jean jackets, ripped jeans, tube tops, even tracksuits are all in her domain, but a dress is most definitely not.

PERSONA:
Imani is a real softy, and would put anyone's happiness before hers in a heartbeat. She's shy during first introductions, but once you get closer to her she'll slowly and progressively start to open up. Her grades never fall short of exceptional and she's always set high goals for herself, so laziness isn't in her dictionary. She has a smile that could brighten a whole room, and when she's lively she loves to crack jokes and make people laugh. Although she could fit in to the stereotypical rich kid, she was too much of a shy kid growing up that she chose against the latter. Cheer and track has pushed her more into the scene and she's relatively popular, but she's too kind and quiet to ever make a scene like many other students with the same title.

When looking at another dimension of Imani, you see a girl who's still reserved to others. She's friendly around people, but she's more of an observer at first which made it harder at young ages for her to socialize and make friends. Sleep is another word that is nonexistent in Imani's dictionary, and her insomnia stems from the constant arguing in her home when she was younger due to her parents differences. Since going to Black Mill her sleep schedule still has not been corrected and there have been many occasions where she's been sent back to her dorm because she looked sleep deprived, but she has somewhat perfected the act of hiding her sleep deficiency. Since she is timid she tends to take what people say to heart because if they didn't mean it they wouldn't have said it, but the introvert in her wouldn't allow her to confront anyone. Her brain seems like her worst enemy when she's alone because it just repeats the words her parents said when they found out she was bisexual, but on the bright side she hasn't fallen into the pit of self-harm.

Likes: music, dancing, watching sports, the beach, romcoms, disney movies, dogs, clothes, shoes, singing, reading
Dislikes: homophobes, racists, cats, sushi, casserole, drama, being the center of attention, her parents

HISTORY:
On February 22nd, Imani Azalea Prince was born to Diane and Jeremy Prince. Her two parents had never actually wanted to get married or stay together, but once Diane realized she was pregnant after a hookup with Jeremy the two were forced to wed so Imani wouldn't be deemed a bastard child. Her father, a reputable businessman, and her mother, a top notch lawyer, had tried for years to at least pretend as if there was love between the two, but everything came crashing down when Jeremy admitted he had stepped out of their marriage. Diane had no love for the man, but she was enraged due to the disrespect she felt was directed towards her and all hell rained in the Prince home from that day on.

It only got worse when Jeremy began to bring his mistresses into their family home, and the room that he shared with Diane, but the two couldn't divorce is what they always said. It was never how is our daughter affected by all this, rather how would our names look in the news if this all got out. Don't get it twisted, Diane and Jeremy Prince loved their little darkskin princess with all their heart, but they were rather oblivious to the toll all their bickering was taking on Imani. The many different woman she had seen walk with father into their home, right in front of her mother to commit their sinful acts on the same bed her mother laid on at night. At least their mass amount of wealth made it easier as she got older to disappear into the many rooms of the Prince manor, but she still heard and saw it all.

As a child, Imani was always more reserved than the other children and was too timid to strike conversations. Her teachers constantly repeated the fact that every child is different to her parents, and they shouldn't urge her out of her shell but they didn't listen. Although they meant well, the way the approached the topic of her shyness always made it seem as if Imani was born with a defect. The older she got, the more she forced herself to try harder to socialize and leave her little bubble, but it seemed it was never enough for her parents. She'd say she made two new friends and their response would always be "why not four?". What they didn't know was that being a darkskin girl at prestigious private schools made her subject to bullying and children saying she didn't belong, but Imani would never say anything. It was always easier for her to just say it was her fault than point out that there may have been some foul play.

Even with her timidness, church every Sunday was a must and it was a Sunday when she was thirteen that she met her first girlfriend, Alex. She was a lightskin girl who had just moved to the church, and unlike everyone else she didn't seem to have a problem with Imani's quietness. The two went everywhere together and she was Imani's first kiss, everything was perfect. It wasn't until her parents found out and they had a fit of outrage that she had fear in her eyes while looking at the two. They called her an abomination and disgrace, forbidding her from interacting with Alex since she "destroyed" their precious little girl. Imani tried to reassure them by letting them know she was bisexual, and she just liked both genders but it just earned her a slap from her father. That confrontation with her parents haunts her to date, and it was one of the reasons she was scared to come out in sophomore year.

Her parents decided that since she was going to high school the year after, it be better to send her to a school where she would dorm there and be far away from Alex. Since prestigious and expensive school's were the only type she was allowed to attend, Black Mill was where she was hauled of to and has been attending for three years now. Coming home from school is always dreadful and she can't find it in her to forgive her parents, but she'd never speak out her thoughts. Their choice was rather stupid when you look at the type of school Black Mill truly is, but she had grown accustomed here. New friends, new Imani who wasn't always quiet, and new hobbies including track. Dance and gymnastics had always been a part of her, as well as singing, but she was too cared to sing in front of others so joining The Hens where she could utilize dance and gymnastics was ideal. Track was more or less just a time filler, but she enjoyed running and she was pretty darn good as well.

JOEY GALLAGHER

Character's Name : Joseph Amari Gallagher.

Nicknames: most commonly referred to as Joey. Babyface.

Age : Seventeen.

Year : Junior.
80317955_172397540502371_5677553298586070712_n.jpg

Character Description :
Joey is easily identifiable by his dreads, of which he's been growing since he first arrived at Black Mill. The roots of his dreads are always their natural dark brown, though he opts to dye the tips from time to time (currently a light blond). His dreads are where 90% of his energy veers towards, bouncing and hydrated while radiating the smell of coconut conditioner. Joey has smooth, olive skin that's almost free of blemishes which is much due to his distancing from physical exertion. Clothing himself in many hoodies, and pajama pants, he dresses for comfort rather than actual activity, and so it's had the odd positive output for his skin. Joey's said to have a baby face, with dark brown eyes, chubby cheeks, a pink button-nose and a set of well-maintained pearly whites.

Physically, Joey stands at 6 feet, one inch, though it's hard to tell most of the time due to his mild slouch (looks about 5'11, 6 foot). He weighs just over 170lbs., and maintains a natural lean athletic build.

Joey's body modifications include various 'sticker' tattoos of childhood games including Pak-Man, Marvel, and Super Mario characters and the day of his mother's death on his forearm (04/26/2017). He also has a piercing on each earlobe, adorned usually by diamond studs or gold hoops.

Twitter Handle : @fakejoeybadass

Club / Society Memberships :
Joey is a member of the mathletes , the Student Union, and is a photographer for the Blackford Bulletin.

Joey had a perfect score in the national summit of highschool mathematicians in his freshman year. He returned to Black Mill not only with the top score and medal, but also countless universities interested in him, of which included Howard, Berkely, Yale, and more. He's been seated comfortable at Top 5 in the nation since.

On the Student Union, Joey in spite of being ever late to the meetings, is one of the contributing members. With his thought-provoking insight, and judgements, Joey delivers adequate support and counsel to the council.

Personality :
Joey is someone with an inclination to as as little work, and put in as minuscule effort as humanly possible. He'd much rather sleep away his days, play videogames, and smoke into the night. Due to his lax disposition towards his responsibilities, Joey has formed a wedge between himself and his teachers. He's the kind of student to disregard schoolwork and deadlines, yet when picked on to answer or deliver an assignment, he does so with swift ease and a flawless response. Joey himself has been distant and lazy since the death of his mother, and in having been tutored and mentored by his mother, the loss robbed a part of him he feels he can't replace. His motor, and drive to discover and learn, something he primarily loved to share and do with his mother was stripped away. Joey puts on the facade of 'uncaring' in hopes of distracting himself with other irrelevances.

Deep down though, Joey ponders the loss of his mom every night before bed. Reminisces the conversations only another intellectual like his mother would comprehend. And sometimes even out of desperation, he opens up her journal to have a look at some of her work. Part of him is aware of just how unhealthy his coping mechanisms have been, and how detrimental the effects have been on his grades, family-life, friends, but the other part of him just wants to go to sleep.

For all the disregarding, and uncaring, though softspoken, Joey is an understanding individual. In his isolation, he's learned to read and understand others, and paired with his sub-par family life and history, prefers being the listener to someone else's talker. Due to this, he's racked up plenty of friends just because of how selfish society is nowadays, not that he minds. For his friends Joey offers his honest opinions, and insights, and if he's feeling nice perhaps even several answers for a test he skipped out on. He's more-so passive, and relaxed in how he handles his friends, but considering his intelligence, when protecting his loved ones he opts to do so through verbal and mental warfare. This doesn't take away from his trying to aid and protect his friends though.

He does tend to come under fire for just how passive he is for important subjects, but as those closest to him have come to notice, he does nothing more than shrug off any of its importance.

Short Biography :
Joseph Gallagher was born to Remayah Jones-Gallagher, and Sean Gallagher in Miami, Florida. His mother was a world-renowned medical advisor and founder of pharmaceutical giant, Rx Medication, alongside his father who was a respected neurosurgeon. Due to the nature of his parents' job, Joseph often didn't see much of his parents. Whether it be a meeting, drug presentation, or an emergency operation, Joey's parents were almost always out of the house. Due to this he was primarily raised by his nanny, and enrolled in elite private schools since he could walk.

Joseph was gifted at a young age. With an exceptionally vivid memory, he was able to recall and understand lectures taught to him quicker and far more proficiently than his peers. Along with this, he had an interest in the world of which his parents lived in. Due to the rigor of his father's work, Joey often got minutes-worth of phone calls with his dad every couple weeks. Whereas with his mother she was able to put aside her work to bond over his love of learning, and medicine with her. So much so that he was even mailed texts, and publishing's of his mother to ponder in her absence. Joseph's life was written down, and planned for him before his birth, and in his younger days he had no problem with following the pre-destined plans his parents had for him, with his small and easily manipulated child-mind.

Joey was about 13 years old when his mother had first been diagnosed. What had began as persistent headaches in his mother grew into seizures, and even forgetfulness in a woman that never forgot. Following several weeks on relief, and dealing with the pain at home, Joseph's mother was finally admitted to the hospital where she'd be diagnosed with a rare, and fatal form of brain cancer. Remayah Jones-Gallagher was given only several months to live. The feeling of having his mother on her death bed felt as if Joey himself was going to die. To make matters worse, the wealthy Sean Gallagher opted to spend his wife's dying moments working, for reasons still unclear to Joey. He vividly remembers his mother's final breaths, the pulse oximeter flat-lining, and his father somewhere across the country at work. That cursed day marked the wedge between Joey and his father, and the start of Joey's spiraling into drugs and addiction.

Even still, with said odds stacked against him, as much as he hated to admit it Joey was a genius, and wealthy at that. He enrolled in Black Mill since freshman year. Immediately he made a "splash" with his teachers as the sarcastic brains who seemed to prey on emotionally fragile teachers. One that seemed not to give a fuck all semester long, but somehow Ace'd the finals each time. If it weren't from his father's nagging, Joey definitely wouldn't have joined any of the Black Mill extracurricular he partakes in.

Other :
Joey currently boasts a 4.6 GPA.
He was diagnosed with an Eidetic memory at the age of 4, and Pareidolia at 10.
Enjoys smoking, skate-boarding, playing cards, and pranks.
Password to his phone is: Mario.
It's likely to see science textbooks published by either of Joey's parents, or Rx Drugs, throughout the school.

These 9 females have a love and passion for dancing and perform at events ranging from festivals and parades to nightclubs and private functions. Until a year ago the dance group was generally unnoticed with virtually no media attention performing only at non-profit organizations. When local alternative music artist "DJ Dapper" won the West Coast "Funk" music award for "Most Up and Coming Artist" he began performing publically and employed the services of the California Cobalts at a variety of events. The girls' ability to master complex choreography along with their provocative style gained them some fame alongside DJ Dapper. Recently, they have been slipping back into obscurity. Will (DJ Dapper) continues to grant the California Cobalts unfettered use of his music for their performances at no charge to them.
