Joan J Madrox (Prodigy)
Location: Common Room, Avengers Tower

The girl seemed to have her head in her phone quickly tapping away before taking a selfie of sorts with the gathered group behind her, making a face for the camera before going back to further tapping though still listening to the conversation taking place in front of her. Stepping forward she looks over the plans, then her phone with a wide grin and goes back to typing, a glint of recognition clearly visible. There was already a dozen angles on this she could see, diplomatic, direct, trick or hardball among others, but the entire using something that powerful in the damn? either they weren't using it right or they were using it for something else they don't want seeing....either case looked fun though.

So, for now, she simply keeps her smile as she soaks up what she can, at worst case the experience was giving a good insight to the Hero thing to use later.

Isaiah smiled at the familiar Irish lilt that greeted him as he approached the lobby and made his way inside. "Hello, Friday. It's been too long. I'm here to speak with Connor, if he's in. His father sent me... in a manner of speaking," he remarked, his normal ramrod posture slouching slightly as he rubbed anxiously at the back of his neck. Coulson's anxiety at this whole idea was holding fast now that he was back inside the Tower after years away. He remembered visiting with his father once or twice, running through the halls in pursuit of Connor (and, on occasion, his twin sister Lucy) during a game of tag. The two siblings had grown into heroes in their own right since then, living up to the example set by their father. What right did he have to try and place himself as their equal?

Shaking off the doubts, he turned to give the man who had entered just before him a polite nod -- "Finn" the AI had called him.

"Rekardless, ve must make haste pefore zee zituazion pecomes too comblicated.Let's moffe! Jawohl!" Commands the frail man

"Sir yes sir! Move aside all you losers! This whole block is now an elephant crossing!" the elephant man proceeds to run along the road at a surprisingly fast rate while plowing through cars and everyone running for cover from the the elephant man's path

Natalie Strange
New York - National Bank

Natalie's eyes widened at the distant sound of thunderous crashing, the turmoil carrying a cacophony of screams in its wake. Natalie slammed the discs together again - seemingly materializing out of nowhere - erasing the barrier as she pulled her right arm black and flung it forward, a large circular portal slowly expanding in the vicinity before them. All former hostility was forgotten, and her former desire to dump the bratty girl onto the towering rooftops had dwindled into a single-minded purpose to the greater good. "So, you're not completely useless." Natalie remarked, referencing the wind parlor trick the woman displayed. It made sense, in hindsight, that she wasn't an average person. "The commotion is coming from the bank," She glanced at those present momentarily, "Once we come out the other side, I'll focus on the hostages; you three focus on the threats." Natalie remarked, an almost respectful nod as she stepped through the portal, emerging within the bank, mind focused and sharp. Arrogant she may be, Natalie was no stranger to the delicacy of engagements like these, the aim was always minimizing the loss of civilian life; something even she would struggle to do when faced with armed opposition as well. All it took was one goon's bullet to snuff out some father's life forever. No, she needed their help. And they needed hers.

The interior of the bank was an arduous site. Crowds of people huddled in fear and subdued by a large row of armed gunmen who loomed menacingly above the civilians. Natalie was quick to burst forth into action, the discs once more glistening with mystic fury as she gave out a small battle-cry. In an instant a plethora of intangible appendages from grasping hands and eldritch tentacles materialized from the ground, coiling around most of the gunmen and pulling them violently into a collision with the ground.
"Stop! No! They're rigged!" The bank manager screamed, Natalie's heart dropped at the realization. Almost an instant later, several pillars keeping the building stable exploded in a cascade of splintered rock, she glanced back at the portal which they'd arrived in, noticing the quickly crumbling structure. "Go through the portal, it'll take you to safety!" She yelled desperately at the frightened crowd. Just then, a sickening blare of sirens and shattered horns echoed throughout the halls. A tirade of terrified screams emanated from outside the bank, and Natalie apprehensively looked to her three companions who'd aided in securing the bank interior; "Go help them!" She bellowed, "I can handle this." She hissed through gritted teeth, a thin glittering sapphire blanket slowly covering the ruined pillars that threatened to collapse the whole bank on them should her spell-power failed. She couldn't hold it for long - she just needed a little time - time enough for everyone to escape through the portal.

POST-04
LYDIA LEMIRE
"Once we come out the other side, I'll focus on the hostages; you three focus on the threats."

Lydia gave a simple nod to Natalie's plan. Despite being at odds only moments ago, she decided to put her differences aside, if only for this single event. Following Natalie through the portal in a dash, she suddenly found herself in the middle of perhaps one of the most chaotic bank robberies she's ever been in. A line of civilians apprehended by a line of gunmen, each pointing their guns towards the civilians. The entrance of the bank was also severely damaged, almost as if someone had rammed an entire truck through the wall. Dust still filled the room, reducing visibility only slightly. The room was eerily quieting down, with the exception of some specific, distinct stomping noises.

"Over there!" Lydia shouted to the others, pointing towards what could only be described as a frail man riding atop a large man more akin to an elephant than a person. Readying her bow once more, she pulled out an arrow with the tag 'explosive'. As Natalie began to make quick work of the gunmen, Natalie made a dash towards the exit of the bank, beginning her chase after the two perpetrators. Narrowing her eyes, she thought this was perhaps the first superhuman victory she'd claim; the first victory she'd claim in New York City. That was, until there were a slight change in plans.

"Stop! No! They're rigged!"

The bank teller's shrill scream was all she could process before she heard a deafening bang! next to her. Almost instantly, the explosive threw her back onto the ground with enough force to cause her to feel as if she'd been kicked by a bull. Even though she had braced herself and attempted to break the fall, the impact still practically put her out of commission for a few short seconds. "Ack!" Lydia let out in pain, instantly her entire body began to feel as if it were burning up. As if this could've been the end.

Her breaths began to grow heavy, and she set the bow and arrow down next to her. She huffed and huffed, and which each breath the pain slowly began to turn from 'I'm gonna die' to 'this is...tolerable' levels of pain. Lydia's vision faded in and out, though she wasn't sure if it was due to her slow blinks or her fading out of consciousness—perhaps a mix of both. For a good moment Lydia just laid there, the muffled sound of alarms and sirens filling her ears. She kind of wished she could lay the battle out, however there were criminals to defeat, and civilians to save.

"--help--! --can handle--."

Lydia made some loud groaning noises, slowly making her way up. Her entire body ached, fought against her exerting herself further, but she tried to ignore it. She made her slowly to Natalie and the hostages, wrapping one arm around her stomach and holding her bow with the other. "C'mon, through the portal!" she ordered the civilians gesturing towards it with her head, before turning to the red-haired stranger and Ollie. "Go on ahead, I'll—I'll catch up with you."

Ollie Hammond
Location : National Bank

Ollie looked at Nat when he heard the commotion going on, his expression being all confused. Hearing her words, Ollie slowly nodded, his breathing becoming clearly more agitated. Stepping through the portal, his eyes went to the people standing by, frightened. He put his hands in front of him, as if to try and stop them. "P-Please c-calm do-" Before he could continue, a teller muttered something and a sudden explosion made him fall to the ground, a few splinters of the pillars hitting his face and arms, leaving some small cuts.

Small growls could be heard from Ollie's direction, still on the ground, looking around. He saw Lydia, but couldn't really tell who she was, same went with the red headed girl who just joined them. Looking around he saw Nat holding up the rubble, then Lydia holding her, motioning the civilians to move. Raising up, the claws slowly exited his knuckles, his barred teeth and rather crazed expression showed a different side of him. Looking at Syrenne, he grumbled "Let's go!" before darting towards the exit.

His eyes were fixed on the exit. Once out, he jumped on a car on all fours, like a wild animal on the prowl. Snarling and looking, he could see the elephant running through the streets and he let out a growl, jumping from car to car, his claws leaving a clear path as to where he went.

Boston stood next to the flower vendor, smiling at the old lady with his massive grin, his arms raised and flexing as her old hands squeezed the green skin, her eyes lighting up as the faintest hint of a blush ran over the bridge of her nose. At his feet lay his favorite jacket, his backpack and a few other bags filled with shopping - mostly food and snacks and other such necessities. He was standing tall, his massive frame easily dwarfing the lady, who had been very curious when he told her he was the Hulk. At first she had been shocked, afraid even - if only for a moment, before she seemed to recall that "THE HULK" was gone, and had been for years. After which she could not resist in tasking him with proving it. Normally he would not have been so keen on showing off in public, but when she offered to bump up the cheap bouquet he had procured to one of beautiful red and yellow roses he could not resist. He was already on a budget. Who knew buying flowers could be so expensive? Feeling someone tug on his stretchy pants, he turned around, carefully so as to not startle the woman - seeing that two children were standing next to him, barely to his knees. He looked around, noting that almost fifty people had come to gather around him. Some were taking photos, others seemed to be eyeing his chest and abdomen with something akin to hunger, which had him suddenly self conscious, holding his arms across himself.

"Hey! Are you two not just the cutest little things!" His massive hands gently came to rest on their heads, ruffling their hair as they squealed and giggled in tandem. He looked up at the group. "Hey guys, sorry for this. The lady here offered to bump up my daisies to roses." He shrugged his shoulders, eyes eyes closing as he raised one hand behind his head, scratching his hair. "And ya know... a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Winning hearts is really hard!" He chuckled, noting that some of the people seemed to step back at the vibrations that seemed to move through the ground, while some seemed despondent. "If you wanna have some pics it's cool - but I gotta go soon." He moved to the side, as the people moved forwards. "Hey now! Form a line. Children first though. Them's the rules!" Smiling at the lady, who seemed to already be making up a bunch of roses with a pretty golden ribbon and glossy paper, he walked over towards an open space, starting to do poses - anything from bunny ears, to weight lifter and body builder poses - one even having the two children hanging from his elbows a few feet above the ground while their parents took pictures. When finally the lady was done, he again smiled at the group. "Hey guys. Thanks for being so cool, but I gotta go. Been trying to bag this guy for ages. And I have never dated a rich guy before. Super intimidating." He could feel his face turn a darker green color as he laughed nervously, his whole body tensing every few moments. A few of the people seemed to offer him good luck, while the old lady told him that if he needed flowers in the future, he could always come to her for a discount.

Just as he reached down for his things, about to start to turn back into his usual self, he heard an explosion. The few people in the area rushing towards and behind him, as he instinctively made himself as big as possible, placing his body between the explosion and small crowd, the stall and the lady. A piece of metal seemed to fly towards him, perhaps a piece of a metal door, which he caught with relative ease, gently placing it down. Looking over his shoulder, he smiled at the group - holding an open palm towards them. "Hey, you guys all right?" Seeing many of them shaken, but mostly calm - he nodded, before turning back to the scene. "Hey, lady - can you keep my things for me. Be right back." With that he crouched lower, before suddenly jumping up, shooting away like a bullet towards the bank.

As he landed, he let out his normal roar - announcing him as he always did. It was a brand thing. Letting the good guys know he was here to help. Letting the baddies know the same. Seeing the elephant man rush away, he wanted to rush after, but before he could the building started to fall inwards, causing him to tense for a moment, before rushing in. Seeing the wake of the explosion, and the people starting to rush out through a portal, he quickly rushed directly towards the portal, picking up people as if they weighed nothing, putting them on his shoulder and beneath his arms, before depositing a good ten people through it - most of whom seemed to have been unconscious. Looking back into the building, he spotted some heroes. "Come on guys! We can do this. PEOPLE! MOVE MOVE MOVE!" His voice easily carried over the screams and the noise, the stragglers who seemed to have been in shock suddenly jumped at his roared orders, before quickly rushing past him into the portal. He looked over towards Natalie he called loudly. "Hey, you need help with that roof? Or should I go after Dumbo?"

Syrenne Grey
Location: National Bank
Syrenne cursed, the tell-tale reverberation of yet another unwanted visitor making their grand entrance in the city crashing against her eardrums. The headache she’d been dealing with for the past 3 hours now felt like someone was pounding her forehead with a sledgehammer. Wondering what she did to deserve this, she watched as Mary—…Natalie removed the barrier, but not before giving a snide remark. “So you’re not complete useless.” The woman said, no doubt because of her powers leaking out. As much as Syrenne wanted to give the sorceress a piece of her mind she kept her mouth shut. Now wasn’t the time she realized, imagining what ever damage that had been done to nearby buildings was immense. “The commotion is coming from the bank. Once we come out on the other side, I’ll focus on the hostages; you three focus on the threats.” Finished, Natalie gave her and the others a nod before running through the portal.

Syrenne reluctantly followed, her body tensing upon the site of gunmen towering over a group of innocent people. She hadn’t been at the epicenter of such chaos in years and as such her powers were itching to be used more, to do something. At the same time however, she felt a strong urge to just run away, let Lydia, Ollie, and Natalie handle this mess. It seemed no matter what she did she couldn’t avoid something going terribly wrong. She didn’t want this, use her birthright to do anything. The walls of the bank were suddenly appearing to be closing in—

Her thoughts were cut off as someone yelled, shortly followed by an explosion that rocked the building to its core. She barely managed to activate her telekinetic flight in time, hissing in pain as splinters hit her shoulders. All the civilians screamed as chunks of pillars fell, almost hitting them before Syrenne put her hands out, a shield manifesting over the frightened people and making some of the chucks bounce harmlessly to the ground. Natalie did the same, a dazed looking Lydia coming to the sorceress’s aid by wrapping an arm around her stomach and directing the terrified innocents to a newly created portal.

“Are you sure you’ll be okay?” Syrenne heard herself ask as she panted much to her surprise, feeling as bad as the archer looked. Even just using a little of her own powers, the ones she hadn’t used for months, was mentally exhausting. Before she could see if the other girl could maybe muster a response, Ollie was ushering the red head forwards, claws out as he ran to the exit and beyond. Seeing that her decision had been made for her on whether she should continue to help or not, Syrenne followed the other mutant. She wasn’t sure what was worse, the fact that she had been stupid enough to get involved in the first place or that images of her own past were threatening to make her a nervous wreck. Oh, and did she already mention her powers?

Either way true anger was starting to set in, so much so that even when what looked like to be the Hulk crashed on a nearby car she didn’t even blink, just continued walking. She needed to vent her frustration on the idiots who had decided to rob from a bank. It was only fair to indulge in her abilities a little if some god up there wanted her to.

Once she was close enough to the elephant mutant and his rider, she picked up another empty car and threw it in their direction with all her might.

Pat began to reply when he heard an explosion. He had a feeling that the city of New York hadn't planned any demo work this week, and that now was as good as a time as ever to showcase what was in store for the malcontents of the city. "Sorry to cut this short, but I gotta go..." he said as he got up abruptly, trying to make his exit as smooth as possible. He also felt kind of bad. No matter, he some ass to kick.

He walked briskly into an alley, before he transformed, a red viscous liquid covering his body that started from the base of his back. His suit covered all of his body. He flexed his neck to either direction before his face adopted an intense expression. "
Let's do this." he said to the symbiote out loud. Indeed. It replied as his face was covered by the same red, but two large white streaks that could only be described as eyes, and black fangs completed the suit. He jumped and began swinging toward the direction the explosion came from.

He finally found the bank that had been being robbed, he also sighted the two robbers, an elephant man, and an old man. The symbiote and him didn't communicate through speech when they transformed, they were both relegated to their duties, Pat fighting and doing the physical work, while Slaughter controlled the subconscious functions like active protection, healing, and sensory control.

He had swung to the side of a skyscraper, before launching himself off on a course to intercept the giant. He extended a blade from his right arm. He could feel the repressed feelings of anger upwelling like always when he changed into Slaughter. His mouth had become an animalistic Snarl as he prepared to stab the elephant.

Cassie glanced around the room, gauntlet still on her hand, and raised an eyebrow at T'Kanjal's cold demeanor. Her eyes finally landed on Lucy, and She immediately adopted an air of knowledgeable superiority--technology was where she shone brightest. "Great, I can do that. Here's what I'm going to need;" She cocked her hips and placed her hands on them. "I need the power specifications of the pod. What it's tied to besides the dam, how many volts it puts out, the attachment specifications..... you get the idea. I also need blueprints of the dam it's attached to, and the location of where exactly the pod is in relation to it. I need to know exactly how it runs, or the arc reactor won't work the same." She smirked. "If I have my way, it'll work better than that pod ever did." The way Cassie sounded exactly like her father in this moment was incredible. "Think you can do that for me, Chief?" She asked.
She glanced across the room and looked at the new girl sitting on her phone. "Uh. Who's that? And what's she doing here?"

Robin raised an eyebrow as the stranger ran off. "O.... okay..." she watched in confusion as the stranger ran off, shrugging, before hearing the sounds akin to a demolition derby and a dinosaur coming from not too far away. "Good thing I packed my suit." She thought. Glancing around, she ran to the womens' bathroom that was kind of nearby and changed in the stall, grumbling about how stupidly small the space was while she did so. Soon enough she was in her suit, and she shrunk down small enough to fly through a slit in one of the upper windows. She dropped her backpack (now small) at an anthill and directed a couple of ants to take it home for her, before flying off towards the commotion.
An elephant man was making a ruckus by the bank, and certainly that was concerning, but what was even more concerning was the big red thing attacking it. Robin spotted Boston Banner, remembering a couple of times she had helped him out around the city. She smiled under her helmet and flew over to his shoulder, landing on it gently. "Hey big green! Need a Little help?" She said, her grin audible in her voice.

Connor shook the red-head's hand, noting the lack of an introduction on his part but brushing it off when the other stranger introduced herself, "Nice to meet you Joan." He'd flashed her a smile, having difficulty keeping track of her if he was honest, and forwent his own introduction a second time since she'd heard the first. Though he was confused as to how she assumed herself to be a future Avenger, he'd likely missed something. His attention shifted as his sister started speak. There was a brief moment of confusion as to his identity until he finally remembered. "Oh." He found himself muttering awkwardly the moment Lucy addressed the man as royalty. Prince T'Kanjal, from Wakanda. Connor had never met the man, having only heard of him from others as well as seeing him on the news more or less. And here was Cassie more worried about her lunch being interrupted over whatever meeting or reason T'Kanjal was here for. The blonde couldn't help but smile over that fact because it was so very Cass like.

Following them into the control room Connor was unable to linger on such thoughts for long with Lucy both detailing what was going on as well as requesting T'Kanjal's assistance in the matter. While not the exactly hospitable, it was necessary considering what she was describing. Stepping over to one of the more side panels and screens Connor pulled up one of the images and zoomed in, squinting slightly to no avail. "What makes you think it's Captain Marvel?" He'd asked, not taking his eyes away from the image of the dam. Admittedly his train of thought didn't follow hers to that conclusion so he was curious.

When T'Kanjal spoke about not supplying the arc device Connor simply pointed towards Cassie, "We wouldn't ask that of you your highness, that's where our in-house tech genius comes in." The highness bit felt off, like he was simply copying Lucy, but he'd nearly called the Prince by his first name so he was fine with it. There'd be time for formal introductions when there wasn't a situation at hand. Connor hesitated just a moment considering the present company of both strangers and Wakandan royalty before speaking towards Cassie and Lucy, "If someone is still actually in that pod we can't chance that Somalia will play ball, we need a backup plan." It was clear the gears in his mind were still turning with Connor looking back at the screen above the control panel. "What if I took a small team in, quick and quiet while you guys speak with their ambassador's. Check the pod, and make the swap but only if necessary." Once he was finished Connor's head turned back to the others to gauge their reactions. These were the kind of operations he was a part of at SHIELD, that being said he usually wasn't ever running them. He glanced at Cassie, "I'd need you there to deal with the pod and arc reactor."

As the elephant continues to run, the frail man looks behind them to see if anything is following them. He see nothing but as he gazes upwards he can see a car coming at them. "Slide!" The elephant does just that by leaning down on one side while trying to grab the ground as a to balance himself. The frail man grabs on tight on the small tuffles of hair on the elephant man's head. The car passes over them but ends up slamming into Slaughter and into the side of an apartment building, unbeknownst to the two robbers that he was about to attack them.

They looks down to see Slaughter down on the floor infront of their feet. One of the teens leans over and offers him the stick "You wanna try a huff, my dude? Looks like you need it."

Isaiah nodded, quickly realizing that the gesture was possibly lost on Friday. Just like her predecessor Jarvis, it was easy to forget you were speaking to an artificial intelligence. "Yes, please page him for me. I'll wait here. Thank you, Friday," Coulson said before moving across the lobby to lean against the wall there.

His eyes roamed around the lobby, taking in the occasional plaque and picture from the Avengers' "glory days". In one of the latter, he spotted a figure in a nondescript black suit and receding brown hair. He stood by himself off to the side, clearly trying to avoid the camera flash and failing -- Tony Stark took up the foreground with his confident smile. Isaiah had little doubt that the vast majority of people who looked at the photograph were focused firmly on the billionaire, the Iron Man. The hero.

But not Isaiah. His eyes were locked on that modest man in the suit -- the one who had dug a small nameless child out of the rubble and raised him as his own. Phil Coulson, Agent of SHIELD and every bit the hero Tony Stark was... in his own way. Isaiah wondered if his father knew what he was, what he'd become. Did it matter?

The man glanced down at his hand, watching as the palm slowly became covered by a layer of glossy, iridescent metal, though the change stopped at his wrist.

Alvira walked out of her taxi into the warm breeze of Manhattan's Koreatown on this spring early afternoon. She wore a loose black cardigan and hood; she didn't want to attract too much attention. Of course, she knew that even in New York City, there would always be some heads looking her way, but she wanted to save herself for someone who she'd heard may have wanted to join her in her activities.

She stepped into the bustling restaurant, filled with the smell of spicy foods and chatter in foreign language. A TV in the corner displayed breaking news, another bank robbery that some heroes were attempting to stop. How difficult it was for people who actually needed to work for some cash, she thought to herself.

That rogue samurai was in the other corner of the room, silently eating a plate of barbecue by himself. He was young, maybe even younger than herself, and not bad-looking either, but still giving off a cold and rugged demeanor. Alvira quietly approached him, pulling back the other chair at the table and taking a seat. Just as she was about to look up and introduce herself, a perplexed waiter asked why she was there and if she was invited to the table. Alvira sighed, batted her eyelashes, and asked for their best bowl of soup. The waiter nodded, awkwardly looked on for another moment, and then left without a word.

Lowering her hood and beginning to take off her cardigan, Alvira leaned forward and looked into the boy's eyes. "You've been on the run, haven't you?" she asked coyly. "Hoping you'll find someone before they find you. Well, it looks like you've been found. But you're in luck, because I don't think I want to hurt you. So what is it that you want?"

Lucy felt a moment of embarrassment as she heard the Prince agree to her request for assistance as well as admonish her for assuming that she'd request an arc reactor as well; obviously she'd failed in making her statement clear, but she was thankful that both Cassie and Connor spoke up to allay any any further thoughts that the Avenger might be leaning on the Wakandans and their Prince to get the job done. "Once more, I appreciate your help getting us into the country; I won't as anything more of you, of course, you're welcome to join me when I attend their government." She turned her attention back to the centre conference table where Friday was tracking the list Cassie 'demanded' for her work to be successful, Lucy knew the IA wouldn't have an issue with the request so she moved on.

"I have no doubt that our request will be denied, given the state of the country and the sheer amount of political and military corruption, I wouldn't doubt that they'd demand more than we could ever offer, or would for that matter." She glanced to her brother. "I agree with Connor: we need a secondary team to infiltrate and extract the pod safely, replacing it with the arc reactor. Should they agree - perfect, we'd already be underway. If they deny us, well. We don't leave anyone behind."

She slowly looked over the multitudes of people surrounding the control room, many of which were not Avengers and had simply broken into the tower for one reason or another. "Connor will be the head of our covert ops, with Cassie's lead on tech, I'll run the political show." She trusted the pair to enlist whomever they felt was appropriate to their team for what needed to be done. "I am aware that the leaders of Somalia will be less than impressed once they discover we've taken the pod without their permission but I know well enough that their political climate there is far too dangerous for them to make any international announcements about it. If they did, it would show a sign of weakness to their enemies and they could lose control. I am counting on that fact, which is why the covert team needs to be just that: covert. No memorable armour or suits; we don't want to be identified early."

"As for why I think it's Captain Marvel," She reached over the glass table top, sliding away images and programs to reveal archived documents. "One of the last major battles in New York depicts Captain Marvel and her efforts to remove an energy core set to go nuclear over the city. She managed to clear it from city and prevent millions of peoples death but she was never seen from again. The carrier that was involved had launched several cryo pods with the same energy signatures as the one we're seeing in Somalia. Captain Marvels body was never recovered after the battle." She looked pointedly between Cassie and Connor. "Our fathers and the Avengers of their time searched for her endlessly - they assumed she made it to a cryo pod that was somehow lost after the battle but never found it."

POST-04
PERRY PARKER
For the majority of the meeting, Perry stood there in silence as the others discussed plans. He was in no way knowledgeable in any of the technologies they were mentioning, nor was he familiar with Somalia and their current political state. All he could do was lend an ear, let them finalize their plans, and help in any way he could. However, their discussion in infiltrating Somalia left Perry slightly concerned. While he had no problem in what would happen when they reached the nation, he was concerned with how long they would be staying. Perry could afford a maximum of three days, and even then, due to this classes, it's practically a death sentence for him in the following days after the trip.

Though, despite these small risks towards his academic life, Perry spoke his interest. Saving the world and bonding with some friends seemed worth it, at least it seemed worth it for him currently. "Hey, I can help out with the whole infiltrating thing. Sneaking around's kinda my thing," Perry smiled towards the Rogers twins. Though, with slight hesitations in his body language and a short sigh, he continued with, "--Okay, it's not really my thing—haven't really done it before. But...I'm probably good at it, I'll climb any wall they throw at me!"

The news on TV is a perfect example of why hiding in this city was a good choice. There’s just so much that goes on, Kyo guaranteed if he himself was out there right now that he would have gotten drawn into it. There’s always something crazy going on so crazy things aren’t too out of the ordinary. He was also fairly entertained because he was munching his barbecue with eyes glued to the screen. That was until a woman approached and seated herself at his table.

She had his attention from the jump but he didn’t quite understand why exactly.
He had known these odd inpulses before but his time in the Hand has made him a little dense or disconnected from them. It wasn’t easy to invoke those impulses. He was careful to swallow to avoid choking himself. He wondered what brought her to him, maybe she is here to kill him already. Kyo was going to find out soon either way.

He watched as the woman used her charm to shut down the waiter’s questions. Kyo felt the impulse to tell the waiter that she was fine to be there but she got rid of him first. No doubt it was by the grace of her looks. He could tell she probably would halt the whole restaurant if she wore something nice. This made Kyo suddenly eye his own outfit before refocusing. This was only confirmed when she removed her hood and cardigan.

As she spoke to him, Kyo found himself actively listening to her completely. This was also a new experience in that context. Though it seemed she could tell relatively what his situation was. He wondered if he was being suspicious or obvious. “Indeed I am fleeing some people right now.” He answered her first question generally. “ I am glad you’re not here to kill or capture me. What I want is to claim my right and destiny, to rebuild and restore something to greatness but the way I want it.”

"Indeed, must have taken a great deal of courage and selflessness to give up oneself for the greater good." Liu nodded solemnly at the mention of Captain Marvel's exploits. "If there is any chance to recover her, it would indeed be the least we could do for such act of heroism..."

"But I fear walls may be the least of our worries." T'Kanjal said abruptly, looking at the conference table while processing the plan that had been put forth by the twins, his focus concentrated on the table.

"While this plan has merit, I would point out that we may not have as much wiggle-room to account for potential external factors." T'Kanjal glanced between the two twins, his expression hardly changing from his initial gaze. "Not to mention, were we to approach the Somalians directly and to be refused a deal, and were we to then attempt this switch of machinery after such an advance, it would not take much of a genius to figure out who had replaced their pod, and the potential repercussions that follows...I'm yet familiar on the impact it would have on this organization to know if there would be any reprimands...but that assessment is by no means for me to decide."

The Wakandan prince then lifted his head up, scratching his chin as he began to recall his experience with the Somalian government...thinking deeply before he spoke again.

"While I have no doubt of the possibility of corruption, I do not think the Somalian government is entirely foolish enough to deny both a representative of Wakanda and an organization such as the Avengers...and since there is the offer to replace the source itself, I see no reason they would stright up refuse a deal...the pressure along should be enough to force them to yield, as it would require somthing much grander for them to refuse...and if that is the case, I would personally like to know what that somthing is..." T'Kanjal folded his hands, as his gaze went over the material on the table. "...call this a hunch, but I sense that they're may be somthing more sinister at play within this entire ordeal...it's very suspect that the Somalians wouldn't have announce this to the greater world...a superhuman or alien tech, ascending from the skies, no doubt of foreign origin...then there is the question of expertise...I doubt any base level engineer could figure out how to incorporate such tech into any existing technology...not without help from some other entity...I would doubt they would be that bold enough to continue to risk having to hide such technology if they were not a greater reasoning...or rather, greater help...especially if we were to offer to replace the source of power..."

Ollie Hammond

Ollie was in hot pursuit, following the trail of destruction left by the elephant. The feeling of warm blood coursing through his veins made him active, and time was almost going in slow motion. He was used to this, as it was part of the mobility training. Ollie's brows were furrowed, still on all fours and jumping from car to. At one point, he felt one of the cars pass above his head, at which point he turned his head to look at Syrenne, groaning.

His instincts told him to continue his way, seeing the elephant dodge. The car missed them and implanted itself in a building, the sound making Ollie even more agitated. He let out a roar, sounding more like the groan of a mountain lion, his posture becoming even more like a wild animal. It was easy for him to chase his targets, as their scents were very distinct from others, especially the elephant's scent.

Alvira had captured this guy’s attention, seemingly in the right way, although he still seemed very nervous. "What're you afraid of?" she mused. "I'm not going to bite you, at least not in here."

She put her finger to her lip and tried to remember what her informant had told her. It was shaping up to be correct, so it seemed like that fool was on to something for once. And this guy seemed like the real deal.

“So,” she continued, “I’ve heard you’re on the run from a veritable mafia of samurai and ninja, some of whom you’re supposed to command. It seems like you and your fancy sword aren’t quite enough to take the bad guys down, but I’d be able to turn the tide. If I like you enough from there, I’ll help you rebuild your little empire from there. Provided I can get something out of it too. So what do you think?”

"This is military hardware!"
"And this is my hous, Mister. Why do you need all that fancy "military hardwares" thingys anyways?"

"Mom, it's for work! I'm an Avenger!"

"......I will mom..."
"That's my son...love you."
"...love you too mom..."

"What was that!? I couldn't hear you!"
"I said I love you, mom!"
....
The door to the rooftop finally opened, as Christopher Wilson appeared through the doorway looking embarrassed. Chris loved his parents, but they can be embarrassing sometimes...he was just glad the other Avengers weren't around...well, except maybe for one.
"*SCREECH**SCREECH**SCREECH*""Yeah, yeah, yuck it up...We really should start thinking about getting our own place...""*SCREEECH*" "I know, I know...I should just ask if we can stay at Avengers Tower, be more convenient going to work..." Chris mumbled to himself, as he lowered his goggles. Said "Avengers" name was Redwing, his trusted Falcon companion, whom had been patiently waiting for Chris and just happened to have overheard all the conversation. "...just need to get around askin', that's all..."
With a press of a button, a projectile shot out the back of the Falcon EXO-pack. As it did, Redwing took off, swooping above under the projectile and over Chris. As Redwing passed over, the projectile appeared to activate, quickly descending onto the back of Redwing. The device rapidly began to attach itself onto Redwing, formfitting to the Falcon's frame. Soon, it would appear that the Falcon companion was also suited up.
"Ready?" The Falcon asked the Redwing, as the feathered companion circled around, landing on the edge of the roof and looked at Falcon expectantly. "Alright...let's do this..." Taking a few steps back towards the entrance, the Falcon began to jog, before quickly breaking into a sprint as he dashed across the roof. As the Falcon reached the edge, a his boots suddenly emitted a pulse underneath him, launching him into the air and face-first off the side of the roof. Falcon had his hands to his sides as he began to free falling towards the ground, but almost at the last secound his arms shot out of his sides. From the pack securely strapped to his pack, a pair of mechanical wings quickly extended itself as the rocket thrusts to the rear of the pack shot to life. Another secound and the Falcon would have planted into the side of the sidewalk, as he veered sharply upwards, shooting towards the air.
tumblr_nycvzogCLP1uuxzsno3_500.gif

"WOOOOOOOO!"
The Falcon hollered into the air, as he began to quickly pick up speed and altitude.
"*SCREEECH*"
Looking over to the side, Chris grinned as he watched Redhawk pull up-besides him. The hawk's suit had it's own pair of thrusters, allowing the ariel beast to keep up with it's human companion.
"Race you to the tower!" Chris shouted, although the mic attached to both creature's suit made it easy for them two to hear each other. "*SCREEECH*"
With that, the the two zoomed forward in the blur. Were a casual passer by look up, they'd spot the Falcon man and his Falcon companion zoom across the city skyline, bobing and weaving, rolling and so forth around each other. While the theatrics were present. this was indeed a race: Where one would take the lead over the other, the latter would find way to catch up and surpass the lead, adding a little bit of finesse as the did, only for the cycle to repeat.
The two were going through a familiar route to the Avengers Tower, and taking the weaves and turns that made the usually commute more interesting.
As Chris shifted his entire body, turning sharply around the corner of one of the larger skyscrappers...

Ouch!

Andromeda sighed and spread her wings in the sun, feeling her feathers soaking up the warmth and warming her whole body. She was sitting up on the top of a tall building, feeling the wind, before she stood up, facing away from the ledge. She leaned backwards and began to free fall, smiling as she wrapped her wings around her and flipped over so that her wings caught the wind and propelled her up into the air, leveling off with one powerful flap. The city noises below provided her with a clear map up here, and she was able to avoid buildings and small drones easily. It was routine.
Or.... almost routine.
Something came barreling around the corner of one of the buildings and collided with her, running into one of her wings.
She spiraled in the air and yelped quietly, trying to keep her composure, wing aching as she spread it and began to flap in place. She used her 'radar' to ascertain what had hit her and she paled at what she 'saw'.
Synthetic wings...
She had (sort of) seen this kind of invention before. If this person was a mutant hunter, she didn't want to stick around and find out.
With a hard flap that made her grimace, she turned herself in the air and began to fly away as fast as she possibly could from whatever it was that had hit her. Maybe I can lose them.....

Had it not been for his reflexes, it might have ended in a head on collusion. Flying at the speed the Falcon had currently gone, that might has well been the equivalent of a head on collision from a sports car. Luckily, the Falcon was able to weave out the very last secound, preventing a head on collision. However, he didn't leave all that unscathed, as the lower half of his body clipped against somthing as he passed by.

The collision sent Chris into a tailspin, as he plummeted towards the ground attempting to wrestle control of his wings. Within the next moment his wings quickly retracted back into the pack, allowing him to regain some control over his movement. The first thing Chris did was stabilize his falling stance, easing out of the tailspin into something more controllable. Within the next moment, Chris shot his hands to the side, causing his wings to extend once more. The thrusters roared to life, boosting him forward out of his freefall. Chris began to descend towards a nearby apartment complex, latching onto to one of the edges, before turning around to see observe his surroundings.

"What the heck was that?"

The Falcon's goggles began tracking as his head darted side to side. It didn't take long for the tracking system to get a read on what had hit him, as it began targeting the unknown flying entity. Zooming in, Chris could make out some sort of flying...angel?

"*SCREECH!*"

"Yeah, I see it! I'm on it!" The Falcon responded, looking up to see his falcon companion soaring above him, before pushing off the ledge and dove forward towards the ground, once again shooting his arms out to allow the wings to extend to their fullest. Within minutes, he was speeding towards the flying entity.

The truth was, Chris was bit miffed to have almost gotten a mid-air concussion, but more importantly, he wanted to know what had almost hit him. This was no drone that some kids or grown hobbyist who wanted to get the attention of a superhero, this was a person...with wings. While the Falcon didn't really have any bad intentions, you'd really never know with this city. Could be a bad guy, could be just another person, or even a hero. Still, wouldn't hurt to ask, and if needs be, do somthing about it.

Of course all of this might have not been communicated, as to the other side, it would appear that the Falcon was speeding towards her at an incredibly fast pace, followed by what appeared to be a falcon emitting jet flames.

Kyo titled his head as even someone as inexperienced he is in such matters could tell there was a double entendre in her comment. He couldn’t tell if it was making him hard to focus or focus more intently. He wondered if she was doing that on purpose. Maybe that’s just how she interacts with others, he may have to adapt and get used to it. However, Kyo wondered how her charms we trumping all of his training back in the Hand. They do undergo mental, emotional, and spiritual refinement conditioning. Could it be his time away from the environment, the Sword, or something else?

Her proposal caught him off guard, he wondered if she truly knew what she was asking. This could turn into now just him removing whoever the Hand put in charge of Clan Yashida but could also turn into war with Tomoe’s Syndicate, Shishido’s Hydra, Mandarin’s Triad, and Ogun’s Yakuza as well as the warriors of the Hand itself. That’s a crap ton of fighting to take on for the promise of something in it for herself.

However, Kyo needed help and if she knew this much she must have good resources. “The terms you use may be a little off but you more or less have the gist. I think if you were here to kill me you would have done it. I think you might be under estimating the amount of spilled blood this will likely entail. I think you also must be genuine enough in your offer. I will gladly accept your help for the promise that you reap some of the rewards as well.” Kyo replied.

Up, Up, and Away!

The sound of boosters behind her unnerved Andromeda. Whoever she had hit was giving chase incredibly fast, and they had something else with them.
Her wings carried her faster almost by instinct, banking hard right around another building. A small smile appeared on her face as she began to fly upwards, hoping she could lose them with the altitude and whatever little cloud cover there was, if any. There didn't seem To be any cloud cover but that didn't matter. Altitude was the important thing.
While her body was moving almost on its own, her mind was speeding along a mile a minute, just as fast. She knew she could have slowed down and apologized for running into..... whoever this was..... but she also knew that doing so could have meant the end of her life. This person had artificial wings, something not usually employed by the average person. Plus, they gave chase, and they had a pet (which upon closer radar inspection turned out to be a bird) outfitted to help them.
It was getting colder as she flew higher, and she hoped the person wasn't capable of handling high altitudes like she was.

Political Affairs

Cassie looked at the table as well, walking over to stand next to it and tapping her lip. "Y'know, the Somalian government would have to be insane to keep something like this from the world with an ulterior motive for so long. Powering their country would have been their main concern at the time." She narrowed her eyes a little as she concentrated and thought. "His Highness is right about what would happen if they say no and we went anyway. They'd know it was us pretty much immediately if when they next went to check on the dam, there was a big old arc reactor, something my dad was famous for, in the place of the pod, with the pod nowhere in sight." She looked at Lucy. "I'm no political expert, but wouldn't it be better to either do a covert operation or go the political route? If we do the political way first, and they say no, they'll know it's us if we remove it. If we go covert first, they won't, and we can negotiate or give our reasoning later." Cassie shrugged, smiling a little as her eyes went back to the table. "But that's just my take on it. I'll get started on the reactor immediately." She turned, heading for her lab and calling over her shoulder, "If you need me, you know where to find me!"

Friday spoke up when Cassie had left the room. "Mr. Rogers, Isaiah Coulson is here to see you. He's in the lobby and would like to meet you down there."
To Cassie, in her earpiece, she said, "And Finn Wagner is also headed up."
Cassie, now in the confines of her lab, blushed lightly, giving Friday a small thank you in response.
