Ivan Timurovich

Location: Mago Ex-Diem Caster Class, Mr. Khonsu

Time: 1415hrs

Well, after his bit of a tirade through his room, having gone to the trade islands to at least get his rings marked, and having returned to his room to clean up his mess, Ivan decided that, for now, absolutely nothing could be done about the stupid flashlight that had been stolen from him. Sure, he didn't like the damn thing - he literally was a flashlight of sorts, but it was something he was supposed to keep an eye on. How the hell was he to know that Warp Sprites existed? This blunder was on the school entirely, considering they hadn't been warned about such a thing beforehand, so really, it was almost a service that he would be trying to figure out how to kill the damn pests for them regardless if they saw it in such a way. Still, the nerve of some to believe that he had willingly allowed those stupid creatures to take something of his was infuriating, and by the time he got to Mr. Khonsu's class, he found himself too irritated to initially notice the man. Instead, he slung his messenger bag over the back of his chair and firmly sat himself in the front row of the class.

To be clear, it wasn't any sort of "Astute Student" kind of trait. It wouldn't have mattered if he sat in the front or the back of the class- he would've paid attention, but rather, it was the closest seat he could find to firmly plant himself in. Also, he found it was all too easy to find the classroom seeing as it was literally the one that was blasting some sort of Pop music, and aside from who appeared to be a man all about his little dance session, he didn't see a teacher around...

Unless the man was in fact the teacher.

"Ah, blyat," he thought to himself as he watched the man prancing around. "Ten credits say I fail class."

To say that the man was stupidly attractive was a gross insult, and honestly, called for being slapped across the face. The man had a, most undeniably, dangerous sort of exotic look to him, and did he ever seem to like flaunting it. Crimson horns that seem to slip to pink gradually sprouted from snow white hair that was obviously styled to be pulled into a ponytail. Those same locks that hung in front of his face framed a slender visage. Honey golden eyes swam in a sea of black cornea, and along with the bangs, what looked to either be a tattoo or very thin scales also worked to draw attention to his jawline. Mr. Khonsu apparently enjoyed a more stylized kimono-like top, though the stylizing...

Well, Ivan was the very conservative type. His uniform was clean, crisp, and tightly worn. His tie was impeccable, buttons weren't undone in any sort of way, shoes shined, the creases apparent and sharp, and his Navitas rings polished. Mr. Khonsu's attire exposed the sternum and collarbones of his chest, with armor plating layered on his right arm upon the space between his tricep and bicep. The left hand had some sort of half-sleeve that met the cuff of the kimono's left sleeve's cuff, and... Well, his pants were utterly ridiculous and drew way too much goddamn attention!! Really, now, how was Ivan NOT supposed to pay attention to such distracting features of the feminine male physique when it was literally wiggling and twerking in front of them?!

No, this had to be the wrong class. His sheet was wrong, the school made an error, and he immediately came to the conclusion that this had to be some kind of class that he wasn't supposed to be in, like Magum Vitae since the man seemed so lively and apparently had two pets he could keep with him. So with that, Ivan grabbed his bag, and with embarrassment, immediately began to make his way to the door....

Just so long as the skimpy-clad teacher kept distracted with his little jig, he would be okay....

(Now let's see if he succeeds or fails. xD)

Nyara Innistra:

Location: Magum Spiritus Caster Class, Ms. Sylvia

Time: 1415hrs

She didn't get to shoot, she got a weird sticker wrapped around the right leg of her Glasses that were issued as an Arcane Focus, and all she wanted was to feel at least somewhat at home, which, spoiler alert: she still didn't feel that way, even after the Principal's speech and everything that happened today so far. It was only 1415hrs, and it was already a hustle and bustle of a day. With recounting everything that had been going on, one would be sympathetic to the fact that Nyara was nearly screeching in terror as she had literally bumped into a random Snow Leopard that decided it was going to block her way and make a faux threatening noise. Nyara was across the other side of the hall and on her rear with her knees up and tight together before it seemed content with the reaction, in which she watched it seat itself and look around as if she no longer existed.

She was going to end up pulling her hair out in frustration by the end of the day.

Absolutely mortified from the chuckles, giggles, and jeers that had come to her attention from her scare, Nyara quickly shot herself onto her feet, gathered her things, and all but stomped into the room. "This is your home now," they said. "We're your family," they proclaimed! Well it didn't seem very polite for family to scare the living bejeezus out of you in front of everyone for their sick little games!!! She couldn't pull herself from her thoughts even with the scenery around her, and all she wanted to do was disappear. So given the structure of the classroom at the moment, that being a crap-ton of desks crammed into a semi-circle, the best and most obvious strategy was to take the middle seat. Considering the fact that everyone's positions would ensure that their focus was in the middle of the room and not in the middle of the semi-circle line, it would be easiest to disappear here, and just because she was feeling a bit more embarrassed than usual and was really driving home the "I-Want-To-Disappear-Because-Your-Cat-Is-A-Jerk" point, her immediate action was to drag the middle seat two feet back. That way, the only people who would be paying any attention to her out of their peripheral vision would be the literal two to four students that sat at either end. That being done, the first thing she did was sit and bury her face into the open space that was created when she laid her arms parallel to each other across the table.

First day of actual school was going terribly, and she wasn't going to be writing home about it anytime soon - or at least, she wasn't going to be telling her dad the truth. Last thing she needed was him worrying.

Finally! Caster class! This was going to be so much fun. She walked there with Rever and was absolutely taken aback by how beautiful the room was. Heck, the entire Vitae island was lush with life. It may as well have been a jungle it was so full of life!

Her attention was immediately diverted, however. "Tamanta!" she squeaked, rushing up to them and scooping one of the cuddly creatures into her arms, not caring about getting wet.

"Oh my gosh, Rever!" she squealed, running up to him and sitting next to him with the tamanta still in her arms, "Look at this cutie!! I bet you guys didn't have this in the desert, huh? They looooove water. They are just about the cutest thing to ever exist. I can't believe we have a little kiddy pool in class for them!" The creature burbled at Rever and climbed onto Nayr's desk out of her arms. It stared at Rever with a slight head tilt like a dog.

14:15 - Vene Navitas Class
Ivanna gripped her schedule tight to her chest as she stepped through her mother's portal onto the school. She was late on the first day... so late. She missed the first class and lunch, but her mom wanted to make sure she was ready. She seemed really unwilling and nervous to let her go. After all, she was so little and stuff, and people got hurt sometimes at the school. It wasn't always safe. Fighting itself was never safe, and that was what she wanted to do with her life. She wanted to fight like her Mama.

She was rushing to the Navitas classroom, supposedly taught by someone this year that her Mama knew well. That was reason enough to be excited, but also even more of a reason to be nervous about it. She'd have such high expectations probably! She darted into the room, swinging open the door with lots of force, right into the back of someone who looked just about as small as she was.

"Blyat! I'm sorry! I'm really sorry! I didn't mean to do that. Are you okay??" she said, scrambling to help him up while trying not to lose her documents.

Arik walked towards his next class he looked walked around with a deadpan tired face from how things went so far with that note investigation and all. His roommate was decent company atleast and they only figured out a little of what happened so he couldn't really bother to bring it up with Kira as of now. He went over to the classroom to find his sister dressed as him and rushed in to hug her finally finding comfort in being with her again.
Kira Kawin (Dress as Arik)
Kira spent her lunch with Hira, which went as smoothly as one could plan out she thought about going to the store but went against it knowing she would rather shop with her brother or someone else she found comfort with instead of just Hira. As she made her way to the classroom she was about to prepare to go in until she was attacked from behind she was about to punch her attacker until she realized it was just Arik hugging her. She smiled and hugged him back happy to finally be with him again after be separated for quite a bit.

When the twins finished their hug they went into the classroom side by side assessing their new environment before making judgement giving each other a side look before moving together in unison. They then sat next on one of the plush pillows giving each other a smile as they chatted together ignoring a decent amount of the students who were gawking at the twins similarities to each other.

A small creature approaches Nyara, making an incredibly cute, soft "bewooooo" sound in a questioning tone. The pink ball floats up to her and reaches for her hand to rub up against. It then moves to her shirt, and, if it can, steals it.

Then disappears with the soft pop of a portal.

SmokingBear.jpgKitchi was petting a tamanta when a girl ran up beside him and picked up a tamanta from the pool causing her front to get soaked and splashing some water on himself. He didn't mind as he could feel the happiness the tamanta felt from being held so he didn't do anything, he just continued to pet the other four tamanta's. At the same time some... thing was screaming behind him that he ignored as he was enjoying himself. Then some person with strange horns that walked in. He looked similar to a tribe he had seen in the "deadlands", though they had deer antlers on their heads instead of whatever his were. Despite all the chaos he enjoyed the class already, even if the class was bad the environment around him would be enough to make things bearable. As Kitchi petted the tamanta's he subconsciously entered a meditative state where he released small amounts of life energy that drew creatures towards him. A faylin, two ferrets, a few birds, and a few bumble ferries made their ways over to him, the faylin landing atop his head and laying there, the ferrets climbing under his bear skin cloak and curling up, the birds perching on his shoulder, and the bumble fairies just buzzing around him. He felt like he was back at the clearing in the forest where he would meditate and all the peaceful animals around would come to him.

Hira walked towards he classroom, her conversation with Kira went pretty well even though she rarely talked during the exchange but it was pretty obvious that she liked her to. As Hira went into her caster class she couldn't help but notice how her teacher gave her a stare that was filled with disdain while she was drinking from her coffee mug. She was comfortable with it non the less cause it reminded her of her old Instructor back at her KESJT Program. Her teacher reminded her of her Argil who drank a lot of Apple Cider before turning their lives into a nightmare with a plain face. Hira didn't show any reaction to her teachers disdainful look and made her way to her seat without batting a eye she was defiantly going to semi like the teacher atleast as far as she could tell.

Warp. Sprite.

She had had enough of the day she was having, and when the creature went from it's cute little call to trying to lunge at her, she only had enough time to slip out of the way by a hair's width. Something happened. In her head, something snapped, and all she could do was snarl as she grit her teeth, and as she stood, went from pawing at her side in an attempt to snatch a sidearm that wasn't there to snatching the desk by the back rest and the front of the desk, then heave it to hold it over her head.

"I've had about Goddamn Enough of this wacko school and you stupid little slimes!!!" she barked, vitriol seeming to seethe through her teeth. Anyone who had their glasses on or who were at least sensitive to Auras could see it pounding off of her- a dark, inky red that seemed to spill rather than emanate from her very core. With that having been said, she wasn't going to hesitate. With all of the strength in her arms, her back, and even her legs, Nyara found herself slinging the desk straight for the little sprite, and if it hit, she wasn't sure if it could even die, but it would most definitely hurt. She had had enough of today already. She was tired, she was frustrated, far from the comfort of her home, and thus far, she hadn't even had time to really collect herself what with the goings on - hell, she didn't even get to eat!! Her stomach was tied in an angry, self-cannibalizing knot that just didn't seem as if it ever wanted to relent.

It was no wonder the speaker over the PA sounded so angry about these creatures. They were an annoyance, and their existence seemed to fuel her already irritated mood to the obvious breaking point that it had now come to. She wasn't having a good day, and whether her actions got her either suspended or expelled, at the moment, she didn't really care enough to think about it. The damn blob just tried to strip her of her shirt, and though it was still on her body, she wasn't about to let the sleight slide so easily.

"If I had the power to summon a demon to eat you alive, I would, you freaking pest!!"

Of course, she was going to miss, and the chair-and-desk combo ended up slamming with a clattering thud against the floor where it once was, leaving Nyara panting, her fists balled, and looking more feral than human, pink-white hair in disarray and her visage scrunched in anger.

Aranea
Aranea had switched back into her normal disguise before heading to class. Giving a sigh as wasps were in her hair posing as hair clips on each side of her face. A few more circling around her head and multiple large spiders were crawling on her arms. Walking into the class she saw many a people in the class she looked around. A tall boy with horns messing with statues, looked rich from his clothes... was he the one stuck in a tree earlier? Who cares anymore, next to him was a girl holding some sort of creature... ugh disgusting, hopefully she doesn't have to touch one of those. There are only three types of animals. 1. Her precious children, 2. Those who eat her children and 3. those who existed to be food for her children. But digressing Aranea looked at the last student she thought of notice. A dude as tall of the horny boy weird clothes but the worst part was... he was surrounded by those weird creatures...Ugh. Aranea was about to head to a desk before one of the tamantas walked towards her. Before it could rub against her leg she stomped down nearly stepping on the tamanta staring at it with absolute disgust "Don't touch me. or else you'll be food" she said to the tamanta as the spiders stared hungrily at the creature. Scared the tamanta quickly ran back to kitchi as Arane sat down at the farthest away desk. she wanted to avoid those tamantas as much as possible. "Wonder if this class will be useful..." aranea murmured to herself as she held her hand out a butterfly landing into her open palm. Aranea narrowed her eyes looking the teacher directly in the eyes before crushing the butterfly in her hand spiders crawling up as they began feasting upon the butterfly. "please keep your creatures away from me Teacher. I cant guarantee their safety. same for you and those disgusting creatures in the water" she told him coldly before turning to the tall man surrounded by tamantas as two wasps flew down from her hair also eating some of the butterfly.

'oh come on its not like they are the ugly. You cant compare them to our babies' A voice rang out in Araneas head. Aranea could only describe this as the manifestation of her "Ceridian" personality. aa sort of subconscious made from her persona. It helped sometimes but mostly never shut up. 'you know i can hear all your thoughts right? that's not very nice to say.' voice rang out again as Aranea glared. closing her eyes and taking a sharp inhale she decided to talk back. " Shut up already.... making friends is your job... making job is passing classes so we can have a decent life" she whispered to herself before her reply came 'yeah yeah I know but come on your making my job harder if they find us out' annoyed she whispered to herself again "they won't find out." She wouldn't let these students find out. All she needed to do was practice magic and pass classes. friends can be made outside class. that wasn't her job it was Ceri's. 'well ya know like half the class is staring at us cause your talking to yourself. ' Aranea looked around to see indeed a few students were staring at herself. feeling the flush of embarrassment on her face. Aranea quickly pulled out a book titled "The scientific study of agricultural developments within the Entomology study field " and shoved her face in it reading to hide herself from others.

Rever Echni

Rever was just about to activate his statue before his new found friend ran over to him shoving a creature in front of him. Shocked by this rever nearly knocked shark off the table hurriedly grabbing it before it fell giving a sigh of relief. "thank goodness shes okay." Rever said aloud before turning to Nayr with a smile, she was showing off this creature and it looked rever right in the ees tilting its head. GAH no one can resist such cuteness... "yes... they are quite adorable. nothing like the usual creatures of egypt... perhaps ill make a golem designed off them..." he told Nayr as he turned to the sound of a stomp to see a rather dreary looking woman staring down a tamanta before it ran away. "well that was rude." rever said aloud before turning back to his statue. "I think its time you showed yourself. Oh being of stone, with the ferocity and bite of shark, arise from your chains and be my vassal and sword once more. " he stated his horns glowing bright as he tossed the statue in the air it quickly growing into the size of a person and landing feet first on the ground. Skin made of smooth stone and having two serrated Katanas on her hips the statue stood up to show itself to its master and Nayr.(like just imagine the skin is stone please)

"Nayr meet shark. One of my golems and personal bodyguard. i'm sure you can tell why shes called shark. "he stated as he reached over the table fixing sharks jacket with a smile as she stood there opening and closing her mouth repeatedly a solid "snap!' sound reverberating every time she did so. "She will not harm anyone unless told so. Though it will randomly bit stuff so... " rever pulled out a tennis ball from his case and tossed it in the air shark staring at it before opening its mouth wide, like really wide, wider then any normal human can before biting down on the tennis ball and proceeding to chew on it as it was stuck on its sharp teeth. "that will distract her. please pay her no attention unless needed." rever said to Nayr as hsi vision went to the gloomy girl. She seemed to be talking to herself, about what rever didn't know. But she looked up and noticed the stares she was receiving and seemed to retreat behind a book

Lee Owens.jpg If the teacher responded to Lee's question, he didn't remember it as the forgotten door behind him suddenly slammed into his tiny frame. The young boy went down pretty hard, but thankfully he was mostly just jolted and disoriented than actually injured. Still somewhat dazed, Lee went along with the hands helping him up before the girl in front of him finally registered. The girl had bright white hair and sparkling blue eyes, giving her an angelic short of appearance; but most importantly, she was wearing a Navitas uniform. Another friend! Shaking his head in order to reorganize his thoughts, Lee beamed as he held out his hands. "Don't worry, I'm fine!" He'd probably bruise later, but she didn't need to know that. Shuffling closer in excitement, he continued, "My name is Lee Owens! It's nice to meet you!" Forgetting personal space in his eagerness for another friend, Lee ushered her towards the teacher so that he could gaze up at her pleading and ask, "Can we sit together?" Some classes had assigned seating, depending on the teacher, but the redhead wanted to be able to choose his seat partner! He'd rather have this nice girl sitting next to him than a stranger that might not be as nice.

His younger siblings were twins, a boy and a girl too at that! This meant that he could relate to his new classmates! Intensely watching, he tilted his head to the side as he analyzed their interactions. Or maybe not... In the heat of the moment Gavin had just assumed that they'd be just like his siblings, but their personalities were obviously different and they seemed a lot closer than his siblings were. Well, that's what I get for jumping the gun. Still, that didn't mean they couldn't be friends. Holding his pillow so that it'd remain under him, Gavin scooted towards the twins until he was a good foot away from them. Grinning, he interrupted with a friendly, "Hiya!" Glancing at the boy, Gavin's smile widened, "Hey, you were in my other class! In The Ring! I'm Gavin, remember me?" The brunet stared at the other boy with obvious eagerness. He wouldn't be surprised if the boy didn't recognize him, but he was still hoping to be remembered. Turning his attention to the sister, Gavin continued, "You don't know me though. I'm Gavin Heidrich! I'm in your brother's class."

The twins were a bit caught off guard when one of the students confronted them not suspecting that one of them would try to approach them. They looked at him in a bit of confusion for a minute before making out what he said, after a few seconds of contemplating she was able to figure out who he was. "Ah, yes you're the nurse boy who was appeared right?. The twins then both looked at each other and gave each other a smile before Arik replied. "Kira Kawin, a pleasure to meet you as well and -" Before Arik could finish his sentence Kira cut in to finish it for him "I'm Arik Kawin a pleasure to meet you as well" They then smiled at the Gavin boy as they both said in unison "We Do Hope To Be Grad Friends" the both gave him their most innocent smile that they could muster as they extended their hands in sync for him to shake. The loved the idea of toying with the boy since he seems like a bunch of fun to be around.

Gavin.jpg The older boy perked up as the younger boy confirmed that he remembered Gavin. "Ah," he got a little bashful at the nurse comment, "Mom says that I'm a magnet for trouble and insists that I carry a first aid kit and snacks with me." As the twins introduced themselves, Gavin smiled with vague confusion laced in his features as his eyes flicked from one twin to the other in an attempt to focus on both of them at the same time. When they extended their hands to shake his, the brunet stuck out both hands before realizing his mistake and using the correct hand to shake each of the twins' hands. Oh fuck I hope I don't mix them up. Despite being different genders, they looked way too similar. The only real reason he was able to tell them apart was from their uniforms. And their eyes. Now that he was paying attention, they both had heterochromia, but on opposite eyes; not that he'd be able to remember which twin had which combination. Let's just hope that Kira doesn't start wearing pants. The minute she did, she'd be indiscernible from her brother. That didn't matter much though, because now Gavin had some friends he could hang out with. It was a little embarrassing to get so excited about making friends at his age, but he was a people person; he needed to interact with people otherwise he'd go stir crazy. Must be a side-effect of growing up with a big family. "Of course!" He responded eagerly. Curiosity drove him to look at Kira and ask, "So, since you're not in the Pugnator class, which one are you in?" There was a bit one could do with Vene Aere abilities, like making things to sell or trying to control natural disasters, so what one picked as their class was influenced by what they wanted to do with their life.

"I think I have, yes! The big bear pelt, yeah? I reminded him he needed to wear his uniform for class," she said, giggling before shaking the woman's hand, "Pleasure to have you in my class. I hope you'll enjoy it."

Chepi. Colette. Nyara. A pleasantly small class, bound to have more students added as the school term got going. Every caster class was nice and small though. Once everyone was in, she smiled big and clapped her hands together. Her snow leopard familiar made its way to her feet when she did, done with scaring people for now. There was one person she didn't expect to have in the class, a fox-like person who seemed rather close to Colette, but ah well. Not a problem.

Nyara, on the other hand, didn't seem to be having nearly as good of a time as the rest of them... including the attempted theft by a Warp Sprite. She was pretty surprised this little thing managed to toss a desk at the Sprite, and though it missed and clattered to the floor, Warp Sprite gone, she still jumped at the loud noise. How to even handle that?

"Erm...," Sylvia muttered, swinging her feet a little off the end of her desk, "Right then... For those of you who don't yet know me, I am Ms. Sylvia. I am your Magum Spiritus teacher. Yes, this class is going to be this small. We have hundreds of teachers who handle small groups so that we can have a more one on one sort of experience with you guys. Given how... stressed some of your lunch periods may have been with the Warp Sprite problem, let's skip the formalities." She pointed to each of them, "Colette, Chepi, and Nyara. There are the names, so no need for some long drawn out opener. You're all Magum Spiritus users, regardless of how you plan on using it."

"Spiritus is one of the more obscure and lesser understood elements. You can do things with the mind and soul that other elements have an extremely hard time copying. As with all things, however, there is a balance. It is very difficult, in turn, for Spiritus to mimic other elements. That is something so far in the future we may as well not worry about it, however. Your first tier goal is to enhance your mana pool and learn control. You will start to see things if you do not already. You will hear things. Things you do not understand. You must be prepared for this. A number of people have died at this school or around it, and not all of their spirits make sense. Not all of their spirits are very pleased. You will be able to sense the auras of your peers. Some people bleed hate through their auras, some people bleed pure power. It can be intimidating. It can be scary. In most cases, though, what you see cannot hurt you. In the cases it can, I will teach you how to protect yourself."

"Let us start with a simple exercise. Prepare yourselves," she said and she closed her eyes and took a deep, steadying breath. As she breathed out, everything changed.

1570472113775.pngThe room was no longer there, and it seemed as though they were in a deep void. No gravity existed here, no light, no matter. The only things were themselves, but even then, you couldn't feel like normal. It was as though you were a floating ball of nothingness inside of nothingness. Part of everything but so removed you were dreaming. The only thing visible was their teacher in a much different form than her child form. She was striking, and though still young, very clearly an adult.

"This is my form truest to myself," she explained, voice echoing through their souls since they didn't currently have ears, "Focus on yourself. Remember how you look, how you feel, and you will take that form. This is your first lesson. It does not matter if your form here is different than your form in the physical world. Mine differs because my curse forces it to be so. You could have a thousand reasons to look the way you do, but all are equally valid as long as they are true to your soul."

She wasn't snoring or anything, but she sure as hell was out cold. She didn't hear the bell go off, didn't hear students start coming in, but what she did hear and what woke her up was Omar walking on up to her and asking her a question. She startled awake a little, energy flaring for a split second before she flitted her eyes up to meet his. What did he ask? His condition? She looked at his arm and nodded slowly, "Right. Yeah. I think I got the gist of it. You can only use magic through that arm and you've got some issues."

She shrugged and repositioned herself so she was sitting up straight, then stretched out her arms, "Honestly, I don't care about your condition or your past. It's what you make of it. Don't be lazy and you could be a great asset to not only yourself but to whatever cause you end up believing in." Mm... this island was always so nice and warm. It was a volcano, after all. She yawned and relished in the warmth for a moment, then saw the other kid enter.

Steve. Silly question. She huffed out a tiny laugh through her nose, "Yes, it's the right class. Vene Ignus. If it wasn't, I'd have an awkward time explaining to one of my colleagues why I fell asleep in their classroom. Wouldn't be the first time..." She looked shuffled open a drawer in her desk, remembering something she was supposed to do before class started. Welp... guess it wasn't that important then... Seryva made a flat-lipped face at the empty stack of paper, then slowly shut the drawer again. Ignoring that for now... Class! Yay, fun stuff.

Lavka. Steve. Omar. Seemed like that was all for now. Small class, great for teaching one on one. Once they were all in the classroom, she wasted no time getting started.

"For those of you that don't know me, I'm Seryva. Yes, the rumors are correct. I'm the youngest Ultima... and yes, I've given up hiding it. It's too much of a gossip topic. So... this is the Vene Ignus class. That means you guys have the awesome ability to make and manipulate fire. Pretty fun. Pretty destructive. It can be pretty useful. Introduce each of yourselves and show a little of what you can do thus far with your fire. I need to see where you all are at so I can decide how to start. I don't really want to just toss you into a volcano and see if you float or something, so... yeah."

14:20 - Vene Aere Class
Gavin. Damon gave a small wave back to the boy, peeking up from his book. The two twins came in not long after. Arik and Kira. Perpetually confusing, it seemed. He was lucky they had invisible tattoos the staff members could see - that he could see. Why did twins have to be difficult? What were they trying to compensate for? Was it as simple as childhood silliness or was there something more deep-seated about their chronic behavior? Food for thought and something to watch out for.

When all three were in the classroom and seated and busy chatting away, Damon set down his book. His bright blue eyes looked up towards his new wards and a smile spread wide.

"So, you all are Vene Aere users," he began, "There are so many uses I could start with, so many corners that you could want to delve into. I am not lucky enough to have two elements, but that makes me all the better for teaching the only one I've got. Call me Mr. Damon."

"We're going to start with your energy pool. I can assure you, it's weak. Like watered down alcohol, so weak it could barely start a fire let alone do anything useful. At the moment, can the three of you even conjure up a stiff breeze? Put out a candle? Now is your chance to show off. You have your tools, though you are new to them, so use them. Show me a little of what you can come up with."

14:20 - Vene Navitas Class
Lee, the first to walk into the room, was over the moon about her status as Ultima. She smiled big and nodded, "I am indeed. I'll introduce myself properly once everyone is in, though."

She was nearly cut off by another student walking in and bashing the first in the back. Ivanna. The only other students, if she wasn't mistaken, would be Kevin and Ruby. The boy rebounded oh so quickly, and Ellania couldn't help but giggle at his eagerness for friendship. "Of course," she answered, "You may sit with whomever you wish. This class is more of a group than your program or class classes are, however. I do believe, at least at the moment, there are only four of you."

Ivanna sat down with Lee, just about as eager for a friend as he was, and Ellania began. She sat down herself, in the circle with the rest of them.

"It's a pleasure to meet all of you. I haven't done this in years, but I'm pleased to be teaching again. My name is Ellania Marens. You may call me Mrs... erm... Ms. Ellania, if you'd like. There will be an announcement about my presence on the school later, but yes, I am an Ultima. One of few on campus at this time. You may know me better by my moniker, Miss Fortune." She paused for a moment, knowing her name would be well known. She was the most well known Ultima there was, a figurehead of the school, a beacon of power. Ivanna got wide-eyed. She was gonna have to tell her Mama about this.

"But I am not here as an Ultima. I am here as your teacher, your tutor, and your friend. I want to see you all grow into the best Navitas users you can be. With Unum Forus, this starts with growing your mana pool and finding yourself. I, however, want to start with getting to know each of you. I want to know, what got you into this? Into the school? How did you find out about your abilities? What do you guys want to do with your magic?" She smiled genuinely, like a loving mother, at each of them, waiting patiently for a response.

Ivanna bit her lip and decided she wanted to go first. "I want to make the Timurovich line proud! I found out about my magic when I was a baby, but... I just wanna be like you guys. I want to be like my Mama, Babushka."

Ellania raised a brow at the name drop, "Ah. I know her fairly well, though we don't interact too often. I'm certain you'll make her proud. What about you two?" Her attention turned to her other students, hands resting in her lap.

Ruby Calcios
Vene Navitas Class
Ruby had been sitting in the very back of the class, for a while, she had been in there since lunch tinkering away at a pocket watch she had been working on, it was a quiet room and after all it was where her next class would be anyway, it was simple logic, the bell rang through out the school and she started to put away her stuff back into Mitzy and watched as three or four people enter the classroom.

"Hmm, what an interesting development, four students in this classroom. I was expecting only two at best" Ruby said to herself with a sigh and quietly listened biting her lip at the fact that this was going to be a group project thing "Well then what another interesting development, hmm, although it does make sense that this would happen. After all we all have the same magic" Ruby continued thinking to herself

"Hmm Ms. Fortune? I'll have to read up on her before the next class of this type"
Ruby thought to herself writing down the name before returning her attention to the teacher "and unsurprisingly the start of this class shall be introductory. Although it makes no sense as to why she is smiling like that. We are not her children." As she thought to herself a girl had started answering the questions and Ruby wrote down the second name, a Ms. Babushka

Ruby stood up calmly, picking up Mitzy by it's neck and bowing with her free hand going over her heart "Good afternoon, fellow classmates, I am Ruby Calcios, I am of the Terras Orientis province, for the sake of ease the first two questions are one in the same, it is quite logical and simple. It is to learn how to control my magic and become a better mage" Ruby said straightening up and calmly walking forward

"I came to learn about my abilities approximately a year ago to the day in which they injured me by making me fall. As for what I want out of my magic, it is also quite simple I want it to be the best tool in my metaphorical belt and so that I can learn as much knowledge as much as possible hence why I am also enrolled Insidiator program and that is all I'm willing to say about myself since I assume it also follows the question requirements, yes?" Ruby finished sitting back down in a seat closer to everyone else

Dear, Henry

Their teacher was truly remarkable. She looked completely different! Never mind that. Everything looked different. Was this the true potential of a master of Magum Spiritus. Henry marveled at this dreamlike world around him. He was still wearing his Spiritus glasses, though he imagined he didn't need them now. Surely even a non-Magum Spiritus could see the spectacle all around them.

Henry had been late, so he'd missed the pleasantries. He had been... delayed. There was the business with the note. The feeling of wrongness. The feeling of hate. He should tell a teacher about what he felt. Or would it be better not to get mixed up in something so very, very... dark. He pushed the thought aside. Now was time to focus on his studies. This was why he was here, after all. Not to get mixed up in some business that could end with someone getting hurt, or worse, expelled.

Henry thought of himself. Of how he viewed himself. He had it. An image. How he looked when he saw himself in a mirror. How he thought he looked to others. He had nearly manifested it... It was on the tip of his conscious mind, teetering toward the subconscious. Suddenly, his concentration split like a ceramic bowl against concrete. Cracks spider-webbed along the base of his focus. Someone, something, on the other side was clawing, slobbering, trying to break loose.

He squeezed his eyes shut, throwing up every protective measure he knew - imagining himself within a shield of white light - and eventually the feeling subsided. When his eyes opened, he was standing there, as himself, in the whirling space that had once been their classroom. He felt his body try to tremble and suppressed it.

1570515813607.png~ Mrs. Diana ~
Mon, the 2nd of October, Year 500
14:20 - Vene Terra Class
Diana didn't want to waste any time. She didn't want to mess with any formalities, and she didn't want to put up with absentminded or bad-attitude students. Thomas. That one had his head in the clouds. Guiren. That one wasn't wearing the uniform properly and seemed to prefer standing to sitting. Honestly, it wasn't the worst behavior, but it didn't set a good precedent. The only other student so far was Yanvara, and as soon as they would walk into the room, Diana took the opportunity to begin.

As though falling into a slot in the floor, the piller she had been kneeling on dropped. As it became level with the stone floor, it created a ripple that spilled out from the epicenter in a wave. It would meet each student as a ramp of stone, aiming to shoot them up into the air. Next, her foot connected with the floor, heel digging into the rock. The force shot up a boulder the size of a basketball that hovered in front of her small frame. In nearly the same smooth motion, the palm of her hand made contact with the basketball boulder and split it into bb-sized stones.

These stones then began to seek their targets - her students. With the speed and power of a low-grade bb gun, not enough to cause any damage, they blasted out and at each of the students. She shouted, voice stern and full of confidence, "Defend yourselves with your abilities! I want to see your worth! Defense up, offense out. You'll learn how to use your piddly mana and grow that pool whether you're ready or not!"

14:20 - Magum Mortis Class
"Devan and Hira," she said, leaning on her elbow after having finished off her coffee, "It's just you two and me. For now, anyway. People tend to come in later in the cycle. So. Yeah. Magum Mortis. You two aren't duplexes either, so we have that in common I guess."

"There's a lot people tend to hate about Mortis. They think it's evil, or can only be used for pain, or destruction. Etc. Etc. Etc. I've heard it all. Entropy. We can bring things from a state of order to a state of chaos, or from a state of chaos to a state of order. Organic matter is easier than non-organic, but it's not that hard to do either. No. We do not make zombies. I repeat. We. DO NOT. MAKE. ZOMBIES. I have been asked that so many times. That is soooo a Vitae thing. But nooo, 'death' element. It must mean zombies, right? Everyone says the death element, but it has nothing to do with dying. It's just innately more aggressive. I use my ability to take rust off of metal or smooth out that irritating corner on something, or heck, I can even use it to mold clay if I wanted to. I just need to entropy the heck out of the bits I don't want. Turn that into dust, and the other bits I can cook into a nice pot or whatever."

"Anyway. I don't think I actually said my name yet. I'm Mrs. Octavia. We go by first names here. But yeah. How do you two use your Mortis ability so far? Can you guys manifest it at all? When I was just starting, I barely knew I had magic aside from accidentally dusting my chair leg and falling on my ass. Or one time I had someone I hated and I accidentally broke their finger. That was the utmost extent of my magic, even when I was livid beyond belief. That's why this first tier is mostly for growth."

Horus Al-Elsharkawy
ciol.png
Location: Mago Ex Diem Island, Caster Class
Interactions: Miranda ( Blackrose7 Blackrose7 )
Horus first day had been a very slow burn for him, he hadn't gotten much done nor gotten himself involved in many of the class instead choosing to watch the others. The Pugnator class where the teacher had everyone fight her, Horus didn't even leave his seat he would have but he wanted as much information as possible before he did anything he knew for a fact without the information of at least her caster type it would be useless to even try. So he just ended up waiting and watching but just as he was going to get involved someone injured themselves and unlike two of his classmates he is more honorable than getting a cheap touch in while the teacher was dealing with an issue. The class ended very uneventfully to Horus who didn't even speak throughout it instead taking various notes on the other students and the teacher, Ms. Seryva.

Lunch was also very uneventful for Horus who simply sat and ate by himself and while there was the whole situation with the warp sprites Horus got lucky and it didn't end up affecting him in the slightest. Still, so far the school was a unique experience one that already Horus was glad to be a part of and within a few years he should hopefully be able to return home a new man, a stronger man to set out on his path to becoming the best guard he could possibly be and make his parents proud, but that was a long way off yet first he had to finish this school and get his magic under control.

As lunch came to an end it was finally time for the class that Horus needed to most, his caster class. It was a hard choice for Horus between Vene Navitas and Mago Ex Diem but in the end, he chose the light. Arriving at the class Horus was caught off guard that was for sure, he stood in the doorway for a few seconds simply watching the various scenes play out. To say a smile covered his face was an understatement his confusion quickly changed to happiness, this was actually what he needed a chance to act like a child something he never got the real chance to. Horus's eyes seemingly glowed happily, his eyes locked onto the rather feminine-looking male dressed in his own clothing clearly the teacher and well not something that happened often Horus found him very attractive. but all good things must come to an end.

Horus, as he was watching the scene eyes, landed on a single female, her voice the only one he could hear as she was singing. .”Fuck the Egyptian nobles. They are murderous assholes. Fuck them right up in the *****. Fuck them right up.” The lyrics of her song rang in Horus ears, his good mood was gone that was to say the least. He simply walked into the classroom eyes deadlocked on this female, she seemed oddly familiar but he wasn't sure where from. He simply took a seat as close to her as possible and leaned towards her. "Heretical scum." Horus said making sure his words reached her over the sound of the music and her own singing. His eyes were covered in a bright almost blazing light unlike at the door where it was happiness it was now rage, unbridled rage. He forced her image into his mind burning it into his memory he wasn't going to let this slide, not a chance, but he also wasn't dumb enough to do something here he would wait for the right chance.

1570597146733.png~ Mr. Carmine (and Nayr)~
Mon, the 2nd of October, Year 500
14:20 - Magum Vitae Class
"Rever. Ceridian. Kitchi. Nayr... and... Pandora," Carmine said, having ignored the drama that has already occurred in his classroom. This was nature. Things did not like each other, beasts ate bugs, bugs hated the beasts, etc. He was just reminding himself that he was meant to be happy about this all. They clearly had an interest in life in its many different facets. They were not just interested in the beautiful, but the... macabre, as well... like that mouth abomination. These would be good students.

"You will be my class," he continued after many seconds of silence, voice smooth as butter and sweet like chimes, "First and foremost, Rever, no weapons. Even conjured ones. You are only allowed such things in self-defense or in specific situations. Please put away your wonderful creation. Secondly, I am pleased to meet all of you. This is a decent-sized class. I look forward to seeing what all of you can bring to the table."

"I want to delve right into things, instead of wasting time getting to know each other. We will have all class and all season to do this. I want to hop right in, and start off with some genuine Vitae magic." He waved his hand to the side, and out of his desk popped five little seedlings in five little vine-laden pots, "This will be our first little project. They are saplings that are quite responsive to even a tiny amount of magic. Grab one of these little seedlings each and take it back to your desk. I want each of you to take some time and change this plant. Make it grow however you'd like. Be cautious not to use too much mana, because it is so sensitive that even a new magic-user can change things, so too much mana may kill it. Make the plant have mouths," he motioned to Mouth, "or perhaps be rather attractive to bees and wasps," he motioned to Ceridian, "or whatever you can imagine in-between. Once you're done, bring it up to me and we can talk as a class about the pros and cons of your design."

Nayr was the first to bound up and scoop up her plant, literally bouncing as she did so. She turned back to Rever, hands outstretched, "This is gonna be so much fun! Oh my gosh what do you wanna make yours into? Maybe I should make mine into a miniature willow? Or some sort of glowing plant? Or maybe an apple tree that tastes like candy?"
