November 1, 2020 (Sunday).

It was a nice autumn day, no rain was falling down but instead the leaves of the trees were coloring in vibrant orange, red and brown. It was still in the morning so it was a bit to the chilly side of 9°C which made the leaves laying down on the path crunch beneath the shoes of the people crossing. People were wearing their coats; some already having wrapped a scarf around their necks to keep themselves warm. Kids were holding the hand of their parents as they walked to their destination, some even went to play on the playground despite the chance of their butts becoming freezingly cold. Some even yelped at the sudden temperature change which followed by laughter.

Once more into the city center, one was met with the dozens of billboards displaying their commercials, photography and music videos, filling the city nicely up with color and sound. Some even stopped by once they saw a particular person appearing, high possibly being fans of them. The smiles that appeared on their faces was magical and also the goal of the company Astrolea who wanted to provide the best possible service they could give to both the fans and employees.

Jun blew into his hands as he looked up at one of the billboards which displayed one of the people working at his company. It seemed like it was Ying Hua’s turn this time. She was truly astonishing in the way she portrayed the feeling of the product she was showing off. Her features popping out even more due to the skillful handling of the make-up artists, he couldn’t do anything else but to praise her for it though actually saying it was something else. He adjusted the mouth mask which covered up most of his face together with the black hat. His outfit was simple: loose pants, combat boots, dark tight shirt and a leather jacket. It helped with camouflaging his presence amongst the crowd which was a relief.

An invisible smile formed as he continued in his tracks to Astrolea. It only took five more minutes before he would arrive there, being greeted by the security at the front door who recognized him once he took of his mask. Immediately making his way to the front desk where he greeted the woman who was always prettily dressed. ”Looking good as always.” He commented which made her look up, rolling her eyes once she noticed it was Jun. ”I know.” She remarked playfully, earning a chuckle out of Jun. ”The CEO is waiting for you in Meeting Room B on he 3rd floor.” She explained. Jun hummed once he got the information he needed, making his way there by taking the stairs.

With a light sprint he managed to get there on time, seeing the CEO was yet to arrive. Greeting those who were already there with a faint smile on his lips. Sitting down on an empty seat as he waited for others to arrive. It must be important since most of his colleagues were invited over as well as some of the managers and bodyguards. Leaning back into his chair, he placed his feet on top of the table in front of him, making it himself as comfortable as possible since the big boss was yet to arrive.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXcode: s e v e n s e v e n
Once, there lived a small girl. Machiko Kurusu was her name, and truly she was the fairest of many. Long curling golden locks that reach down the centre of her back. Green doe eyes, long dark lashes. Picture perfect smile, the angelic Michi. That is, to the eye of the public.

"Tee-hee! Perfect!" She grinned to her phone, tapping her perfectly manicured fingers against the screen. Humming, she slid over filters of Instagram, typing in hashtags and posting cute stickers over her head. "And, pos~t!"

Placing her phone against her lap, its pink rabbit-shaped cover much too big for the poor device. A frown then settled over her face, one much too uncharacteristic to her usual demeanor- or rather, too much of her usual. The screen holds the rising star, Mii-chan. This was Machiko Kurusu, a spoiled little brat.

"Hey, are we there yet?" She leaned against the side windows, one leg upon the other, shaking her brand new Prada boots with her feet. The city of Tokyo blurs before her eyes, desultory of lights flashing amidst the puddles of colours. A memory passed at the back of her mind, one so quickly that it was not enough for her to recollect. Almost had it felt nostalgic, as though she had been here before. A first trip to Tokyo.

They were heading towards Astrolea, after all, a grand building amongst the grander of the great Tokyo. The centre to their nation of the rising sun, where dreams were made and come true. And they were not wrong. A company to gather talents from across the island, each and every inch of their corners. Their quality is rivaled by none, and they picked the best of the best. There was small hint of anxiety, yet one so swiftly coated. What was there to be scared of? She deserved this place. She fought for it fair and square. It should be they who fear her. She was femme fatale, and there was no way she could be scared of such a trivial thing.

"Oy, oy! Have you no ear?" Machiko kicked the back of the seat, causing the driver to leap slightly. A frown was visible by the mirror, yet not one she cared much for. He was paid to drive, and she did not want to be late. First impressions are all that counts, and she wants to be ready. Pulling out her powder kit, the blonde clicked it open, then used its mirror to apply a fresh layer of lip gloss. Hm. She was feeling bright pink. "What if I'm late?"

"You will not be late, Kurusu-san," insisted he.

"But I don't want to be not late, I want to be early!" she huffed, giving the chair one last kick before she crossed her arms. The day had not started at all the way she wanted. First they dare replace her earrings that she ordered months ago. A stupid hurricane delaying the delivery, they said. What a load of rubbish. Oh, how much they would suit her black dress! Ruby stones over rose gold of high carats. Instead she now must settle for some gross pierce silver earrings. Ew.

"Besides," Machiko stuck out her lower lip to a pout. "If I don't get a good first impression, who will be responsible? You wouldn't like that out of your paycheck, would you?"

The driver visibly grunted, followed by a no, Kurusu-san', yet all in all a grin crept to her lips. She heard it, loud and clear. And that was the voice of power.

───✱*.。:。✱*.:。✧*.。✰*.:。✧*.。:。*.。✱ ───

The door slides upon her entrance. The air has grown cold as the climate approaches winter, yet is winter not the peak of fashion? Silver stilettos clicked against the marbled floor, a pair of dark sunglasses over her emeralds, Machiko used a hand to whisk a part of her hair behind her shoulders. Immediately whispers flooded in the room, and she did her best to maintain her composure. She loved the attention, after all.

Waves and waves of people, she could feel their stares at the back of her head. Whispers amongst peers, stolen glances and subtle pointers. Michi. Michi. Michi. She was Michi now, the perfect girl. How she lived the dream! And here, upon the push of an elevator button, another step to the stairways of heaven.

Meeting Room B. Third Floor.

Straightening her jacket, fixing her posture, running her fingers through her hair. "All set!" she whispered to herself and smiled. Then she pushed the door-

"Eh?"

For a while, Machiko blinked. There was no way she was in the right room. There was only a boy, a few other irrelevant people. The boy she felt as though she recognized somewhere, yet she could not be too sure. A lot of people looked the same these days, and being unintentionally rude to someone who bears status is the last thing she wanted to do.

And so she pressed on, her usual stage smile on her face, a perfect mask for a perfect girl. Machiko waved to the people around her, yet her attention remained at the boy. She hesitated at first, then sat in front of him, scowling at the lack of mannerism he appeared to possess. Of course, that expression too, was quickly masked by a flawless performance of professionalism.

"Hi! I think you might recognize me, but if not, I'm Michi! It's so nice to meet you! I hope we can work together! ♡"

character: Reina Sawada

Reina Sawada was not yet at the point in her career where she needed to keep a low profile in public - and that was good, because she was absolutely awful at it.

Looking at her, you'd wouldn't think she was en route to one of the most prestigious entertainment agencies in the country. She wore what would normally be a rather run-of-the-mill blazer/blouse/pleated skirt combination, made strange only by the amount of accessorization going on: both the blazer and the bag she carried were absolutely plastered in badges, pins and buttons, all in various bright colours. Accompanying this was a large rosette pinned into the right breast that bore the words, ''1ST PLACE''. Her wrists were completely covered by garish bracelets, and an obscene amount of hair accessories were pinned onto her fringe, not to mention her signature devil horns. Her music was turned up so high that you'd be forgiven for assuming she wasn't wearing headphones; they were doing absolutely nothing to conceal the sound of her favourite reggae-metal fusion band, and she walked with a spring in her step.. a spring that unfortunately kept sending her crashing into passersby. Her only attempt at concealing her identity was a face mask and a pair of glasses - but it did seem to work. Reina was getting stares from people; but it was likely because of her strange attire, and not because they recognised her as Reina Sawada. If Reina noticed any of the strange looks she was attracting, she did a good job of hiding it, making her way down the busy streets with an air of nonchalance.

She weaved through the morning crowds, crunching fallen leaves underfoot and taking in the crisp autumn air. A city like this was always teeming with life, even in the earlier hours, and Reina, ever the people-watcher, always found herself getting distracted by the scenery around her on her commute to work. Wherever you turned, there were office workers scrambling to make their train times, people handing out flyers on the streets, teenagers skulking around because they had nothing better to do.. not to mention the billboards that plastered the buildings, and the barrage of noise from all directions that it caused. An ad for a recently released RPG game played; underneath it, an advert for a new movie. On one board directly in front of her she could see a familiar face, fixing the camera with a cold but entrancing stare. She recognised them as one of her fellow colleagues at Astrolea - but even if they weren't at the same company, Reina would've known her. The woman - Ying Hua Shing, if she was remembering correctly - was an up and coming model who was steadily gaining fame across the country.

Huh. Reina hadn't really thought that hard about it before, but as she stared up at the billboard - at the image of a polished, professional model - she realised how big of a gap there were between the two of them. It was sort of hard to believe that they were a part of the same company.. actually, now that she thought about it, it was even harder to believe that Reina was a part of it in the first place. Astrolea made absolute bank off of their talent, so surely they were doing something right, but she still had no idea what they were playing at scouting someone like her.

''...Well, they haven't fired me yet, so I must be doing something right!'' She exclaimed, ignoring the baffled looks of the people around her and continuing on her way. The idol was only minutes away from being late by the time she arrived at Astrolea's doors.

"Just barely saaaafe~ ♫ ", she called out in a sing song voice as she entered. Reina's entrance was met with a small smile from the woman at the front desk. In keeping with the rest of Astrolea, even the secretary was expected to be neat and put-together. The woman opened her mouth to speak, but Reina, oblivious, continued talking.

"Sorry, I know this was a close call! It was really busy today for some reason, like the street outside is suuuper crowded too, y'know I think it's 'cause they opened that patisserie right outside? It's always so busy and sometimes the crowd even spills outside, I guess it must be really good cake or something, it's a shame 'cause I wanna go get a crepe or something from there on my lunch break but it's always-"

Her rambling was cut off by a polite cough from the secretary. "Ms. Sawada, you're needed in Meeting Room B on he 3rd floor. The CEO will be waiting for you there."

"The CEO?! Wao~ Okay, I'm on my way!" She flashed a peace sign to the secretary, who again only returned it with a polite smile, before dashing off in the direction of the stairs. Four minutes later and she was standing outside the door to the meeting room, panting from running up the staircase. The little bit of exercise had given her a rosy glow to her face, and her devil-horn hairband was slightly askew on her head. With absolutely none of the professionalism you'd expect of someone who was about to talk to her boss, she flung the door open.

"Heeeee~y! Mr. Oguri, I'm he..'', she trailed off as she realised the situation wasn't exactly what she imagined, ''..re?''

She hadn't thought she'd be completely alone, but there were quite a few more people than she'd expected in the room. Some bodyguards and managers, and.. She recognised two of the faces sitting in front of her. Of course she did; they were fellow colleagues, but.. hang on, weren't these two super famous? Reina was certain she'd seen these two on TV. Since they worked at the same place, it wasn't odd that they'd run into each other, but Reina was a relatively unknown idol right now, so why was she instructed to be in the room with them? What business could they possibly have together?

"Uh, hey! I'm Reina Sawada. Don't think I've met everyone in here before. It's nice to meet'cha, please treat me kindly!" She gave a slight bow of the head before flashing another of her signature peace signs and taking a seat. She wasn't completely sure what was going on here, but she was excited to see where it went.

beep beep beep beep Five more minutes passed by beep beep beep Yep that was the alarm going off for the 10 snooze. Needless to say, Abigail was having a rough time getting awake this morning. She groaned and rolled over in her bed, yawning and stretching her cramped up arms and legs. She was still getting used to the time change even though she bad been living in Tokyo for a few months now. There was just something enchanting about this place and it drew her right it. It also helped that it took her farther away from her god forsaken parents. So that was always a plus. Abigail looked over at the clock and then jump up running through her tiny little apartment. "Shoot shoot, I'm gonna be laaaate!!!!!" Perfect, her first real shot at a major gig and she was running behind. Go figure, such was her luck. Grabbing her keys, her bag and all the little notes that her acting coach gave her, Abigail ran out the door.

With a big sigh like a deflated balloon, Abigail sat in her seat on the train thumbing through her notes. She was ever rarely nervous but this was the biggest chance she's ever gotten since she took up acting classes. Of all her life of having to have everything perfect and be perfect at everything, she was so not feeling any perfection today, nor in her endeavor to become an actress. If her parents could see her now, she would imagine the most cruelest punishment followed by a 3 hour lecture. See living here already had it's perks, no shitty parents. To be honest her acting coach felt more like a parent than they did, she was way more compassionate and understanding, which would be why she's the only one Abigail has let in so far. The abrupt stop of the train, forced her out of her thoughts and she looked out the window. Holy crap! The building was huge. Like really really huge. No this didn't add her anxiety at all. (sarcasm)

Abigail stepped off the train and just looked at the building in awe. So this is where her future may crash and burn or be the best life she's ever lived. She took a deep breath and walked into the building. Upon entering the building, she instantly felt like she was back home again. She could feel the narrows eyes, the facial expressions that showed feelings that she didn't belong here. It wasn't the first time that she was looked at like that. Her parents family looked at her like that quite often. Making her feel like she wasn't really part of a family, just some weird science experiment. She straightened her back, kept her eye forward and just blocked out all the looks and whispers. That was until she got into the elevator, once in there she gritted her teeth and refrained from punching something. Okay get it under control, Abby. You can't screw this up or we're living on the streets, okay? Getting her confidence back, she walked out of the elevator and into the meeting room. If the lobby was bad, this was worse. She definitely felt out of place here. Everyone looked so fancy and high class, while she looked like an average nobody. Abigail gave them her best professional smile and walked over to take her seat. She placed her hands in her lap and tried as hard as possible to not seem awkward. Here's to hoping she was successful.

Tomoko Hayashi

Mood: Nervous but hiding it

Location: Meeting room B

Outfit: here

Tagging: none

Tomoko sat on the train, checking her phone as she waited for her stop. She wasn’t expecting any important messages, not this early in the morning, but it was always worth making sure she was on top of things. With no big projects in progress, some kind of assignment might have been welcome. But, nothing. Not that she would have been able to reply anyway, since the train bumped to a stop as she was scrolling through. She stepped off the train, up onto the street, and began the familiar route towards Astrolea.

It was a good job she’d grabbed a scarf before she headed out, as the brisk autumn wind ruffled her hair and swept some loose leaves down the street. Despite the cold, this was her favorite time of year. She tucked her hands into her pockets, affording herself a moment to look up at the vibrant billboards. It was still almost unreal to think she was a part of that Astrolea, the monolith she’d admired for so long. She couldn’t help smiling at the thought. She didn’t want to be late, though, so she didn't let herself linger too long.

Soon, the towering Astrolea building stood before her. It had seemed so intimidating the first time she came here, but now she walked inside without a second thought. Tomoko greeted the secretary with a polite nod, making her way over to the desk in case anything needed to be passed on. One of the advantages of working at such a small company was that you didn't always need to flash an ID card. Most staff knew you by face alone, even when you weren’t a big star.

“You’re to go to Meeting Room B on the 3rd floor.” The secretary’s voice broke through her thoughts. “The CEO is waiting for you.”

Tomoko blinked in surprise. She hadn't known about anything the CEO might need her for. Not so suddenly, at least. She just hoped she hadn’t done something wrong. The secretary probably wouldn’t know about the context, so she just nodded, quickly regaining her composure. “Right. Thank you.”

The woman did her best to suppress the anxiety that rose inside her as she got into the elevator and hit the button for the third floor. No matter what the reason for this meeting was, showing up flustered wouldn't make a good impression on Mr Oguri. The bell dinged and she stepped out, quickly making her way to the meeting room. She pushed open the door. There were people in here already, some she knew quite well from their work for the company, and some she’d only seen in passing. She couldn't see the CEO yet, even though she’d been told he was waiting. At least she wasn't late.Tomoko walked to take a seat towards the front of the room, flashing a quick, polite smile to the other people as way of greeting. There were things she wanted to say - seeing the boy with his feet up on the table in a meeting with the CEO of his company soured her expression some, and the range of outfits here was- interesting, to say the least - but she kept her thoughts to herself. These people didn’t have much reason to listen to her right now, after all.

Erik

animerik profile 2.0.jpg

Earlier

Waking up was always the hardest part of a day, especially in the comfort of cold weather. At least he didn't feel any need for heaters or anything. It always saved him a few bucks, especially where the electrical bill was concerned for his apartment. Cold was comfy to him, and he sure did like to maintain the refridgerator that was his home. After several minutes of getting the basics out of the way, and then several more for a nice, cold shower, Erik got ready for business. Today was some kind of meeting, so he pulled out his 'nice' clothes. A cheap and somewhat worse-for-wear black button-up to go over his usual black tank top, and tucked into some equally shabby slacks. All he had for footwear where his sneakers and his motorcycle boots... well, he used his boots way more often anyways, and at least they didn't look too bad. He could always pull the legs of his slacks over them, and they'd resemble dress shoes somewhat. And last but not least his leather jacket. Unlike most of the rest of his attire, it actually looked well kept. It made sense, too. After all, it was his granddad's.

A couple of stretches, and he headed out, ducking under the heading of the doorway of his apartment. The chilly air felt refreshing as he check to make sure he had his phone, keys and wallet. As he quickly headed down the steps, he took a moment to check the time, as he often did. The parking area on the side of the road in front of the complex was just as sparse as usual, save for a single, faded green motorcycle. Erik squirmed his hand inside his right coat pocket for his keys before opening the little compartment under the seat that stored his helmet. And not long after, the low growl of the motorcycle's engine came alive, and the large man took off.

Present Moment

To clarify, no. Erik did not make a bee line for the meeting. There was plenty of time to kill, and he sure as hell wan't going into a meeting on an empty stomach. The tall man ducked through the entrance of Astrolea building with a piece of octopus between his teeth like a cigarette, a small, paper bag clenched by the opening in one of his hands. The leather of his jacket emanating low scrunching sounds, he saluted the security and the desk-lady, offering the rather informal greeting of "Yo!" Pushing the octopus into his mouth, he sighed and moved forward.

"Third floor, Room B," the woman said bluntly.

Erik offered his warm grin, a nod of thanks and a thumbs up in response for a brief moment. Hope I can have a moment to make some tea while I'm here, he thought to himself. Gatherings like this always warranted something nice to drink, at least in his opinion. In consideration of the third floor, Erik opted to take the stairs. His particularly long legs always made trips between the closest few floors quicker than using the elevator. Not long before he found the room, he checked his phone. Cutting it awfully close. Maybe he shouldn't have stopped by three sepreate restaurants to fill his ridiculous appetite. Taking a deep breath, hiding his little paper bag inside his leather coat, he entered, once more ducking through a doorway. A warm and pleasant smile on his face betrayed a feeling of unease in his stomach. It sure as hell wasn't the food. No less, he tried as subtly as possible to walk towards an emoty seat where all the other bodyguards were. The seat creaked loudly under his weight, which only caused the pit in his gut to sink further, but he kept his face...

Ying Hua Shin
1598062377250.png
Ying Hua was very happy she decided to walk the rest of the way to the agency. Her mask was currently pulled down while she sipped her ice americano. She was wearing one of her favorite outfits. A black shirt with jean shorts and black stocking. Covered by a very stylish winter coat, black heels and a beret. People stared at her as she walked by, many doing a double take not believing who they saw. Ying Hua ignored the stares for she was fairly used to them now. Ever since her recent promotion people have been noticing her more. Good. As they should. She glanced up from scrolling on her phone to look at the billboards. She always liked to check to see if she was going to show up on them and this time she was. It was one of her newer commercials. Ying Hua pulled her drink away and whistled. "Ah I truly do belong up there." A large smile stayed plastered on her lips the rest of the walk to the building.

Once she entered the building she tossed her now empty iced americano and took off her sunglasses and mask. Before heading to the desk to walked into the bathroom to fix her make-up. Her thoughts went back to the conversation she had with her manager the day before. She was supposed to be meeting with the CEO today and she needed to look her best. She had no idea why he wanted to see her (hopefully to praise her but she knew that was unlikely) but she wanted to make sure she looked perfect. After re-applying her lipstick, she smacked her lips together and smiled. "Perfect."

Walking back out of the bathroom, Ying Hua walked up to the counter. "Hello~!" She sang. The people at the front desk looked up at her. "I have an appointment with out lovely CEO. Can you tell me what room we will be in?" She smiled brightly at them, a smile that was clearly fake if you looked close enough. "Ah yes Mrs. Shin! You will be in Meeting Room B on the 3rd floor. Some of the others have already arrived." Ying Hua's smile faltered. So it wasn't just her and the CEO? We'll that was sad. "Thank you~!"

Ying Hua made sure to take the nearest elevator, no way was she walking up the stairs. Her mind wondered as she tried to think of who else would be there. Ying Hua opened the door slowly and scanned the room as she walked in. Two people immediately caught her eye. The actress MIchi , who, she wasn't sure she actually liked, and the one, the only, Jun Yoshizawa. Why the internationally famous actor was here was beyond her but she was excited to get to work with someone like him. She quietly took an empty seat and gently crossed her legs, placing her hands in her lap.

November 1, 2020 (Sunday).

The moment he got spoken to, he let his eyes wander towards the girly voice which came from somewhere near him. Olive green eyes scanned her from top to toe before smiling lightly in return towards her which he usually did. ”Jun Yoshizawa. Nice to meet you as well.” He responded with a curt nod of his head. He hadn’t seen her before in the company which made him wonder about her being new or they just haven’t had the chance to encounter one another. Though instead of asking about it, he just took in as them meeting for the first time which was already enough for now. They could still get to know each other with time.

Another one entered called Reina Sawada entered the room, as to which he did the same in return and so went for all the other people that flooded inside. It was confusing to see so many people entering, wondering what the CEO had in mind this time. It surely wasn’t going to be anything bad since not every employee was called inside so that indicated that the company didn’t go bankrupt. Well, most people had a shot at stardom when here and they weren’t exactly poorly paid either.

Biting his bottom lip softly as he waited for the actual drama to start, if it could even be called that way. Being left in the dark gave him a nervous feeling almost as if his soul was wavering more and more with every second creeping by. Once the door eventually swung open with the revelation of the CEO Mr. Oguri, he immediately swept his feet from the table in front of him and sat up straight, eyes directly fixated on the man who was holding his very future in his hands. Dark locks of hair being neatly combed into place together with a fancy suit which no one could ignore; a charismatic presence that could shut even the loudest person up with only once glance.

The voice of the male started the meeting after the necessary greetings:

”The reason why I called all of you here is because we are going to work on a group project. This means that you will be working together for the time being in three categories: filming, singing and even modeling. The reason why is because we’re celebrating our tenth year in existence and people are expecting something from us. In order to exceed their expectations, we will be doing a huge collab.”

Scraping his throat as he eyed every single person in the room in all seriousness before continuing.

”The first category will be the filming of a commercial which will be the preview for our show which is in three months. The filming will start three days from now on so prepare what you can prepare. There won’t be much lines so you can memorize it on the set itself, the main focus will be your own representation.

The second category will be the modelling which will be used on flyers and even on billboards to distribute the news amongst the people. Some might already be accustomed to it while others are still new but don’t be afraid, there are professionals who will guide you.

Last but certainly not the least is the singing. We will be giving a small outdoor concert where you will be singing and doing choreography. This will be thought thoroughly next week after the filming and shooting are done. Do not underestimate this and give it your all.”

With that, he ended the meeting, leaving everyone in the room to let everything sink in.

Jun rubbed the bridge of his nose as he progressed the information that he just received. This was going to be one hell of a three months to be going through. Leaning back into his chair as he let his head drop backwards to stare up at the ceiling. He did a bit of singing but he wasn’t that great at it… Hah, the CEO really did it this time…

More people have begun to enter the room one by one. Her hands over the other, her legs had not stopped shaking, tapping the heels of her foot repeatedly against the floor. One by one she greeted as the people passed, though it had not taken her long to simply reach over her phone in the end, her nails clicking frantically against the screen of her phone as she slides around pokopang victory.

At one point, she almost felt as though all heads have turned towards the doorway. Quickly Machiko shoved her phone back inside her purse, straightening her back, batting her long eye lashes. The CEO has walked in, and in all honesty, while Machiko had mostly feel ecstatic when called for a special meeting, this time she had not. All she felt was nervousness, as though something bad was about to come. Surely she was mistaken, right?

When the idea was proposed, however, her eyes immediately snapped open. She had not realized that her jaw had dropped open, until the door closed behind the man when he had walked out. The room fell into silence briefly, not one person dared to speak up. Almost instinctively, she had slammed her hand down on the table, pushing her chair back when she had stood up.

"Huuuuh?" The cute little girl had disappeared, replaced by the bratty expression known to anyone who has met her for past ten minutes and not bearing any title of CEO in their names. "You must be kidding me! Hey, what does that even mean?" she turned to one of the members on the table then simply gave up, flopping back in her seat.

"Ah~ this sucks! Working together? Who are you people even? I think I've seen Yoshizawa-san somewhere before, but sorry- who are you?" Narrowing her eyes, she pointed an accusatory finger at a dark haired girl, spinning her index finger. "What is that shirt even? Who dressed you up, Nickelodeon's kids choice award?"

Of course, Machiko had not been the most considerate when it comes to her words. Her sharp tongue has not been her best trait, obviously, yet for some reason she did not see a reason to fix that attitude. Then her eyes lit up, and her lips curled into a grin.

"Oh! Are you guys my stylists? Or prop manager perhaps? Man, Oguri-san gave me the fright, I should have known better. Now now," she waved her hand around, resting her chin over her other hand. "It is nice to work with you guys, but know I demand perfection, okay? It will be a lot of work from now on but I promise you it will be worth it. I'll even throw in a good name, how about that?"

Ying Hua was on her phone scrolling through social media and responding to fan comments when the door opened up. She immediately locked her phone and sat up strait. She also heard Jun quickly remove his feet from the table. She looked up to the superstar but the feet on the table was inappropriate. The CEO walked into the room and everyone went quiet. The only person who truly scared Ying Hua was Mr. Ogrui. He, in a very literal sense to her, held her life in his land. When he mentioned a group project, Ying Hua had to refrain from making a confused looked. Why in the world would he want all of them working together? When he mentioned their Ten Year Anniversary it suddenly made sense. Of course he'd want the best of the best involved. Though she didn't understand why there were newbies here.

As he went on to explain everything, Ying Hua nodded along. The filming and modeling are all things she has done before so it wouldn't to be hard. She hoped they wouldn't force her to sing, after all she wasn't a singer for a reason.

Not even a second after he left the room Machiko opened her mouth. It was then that Ying Hua remembered why she never spoke to the girl. She was super bratty. "Clearly you weren't listening. It means have to work together." Her eyes narrowed and her right eyebrow twitched at the woman when she had the audacity to call her her stylist.
"Also we are not stylists." Ying Hua almost spat the word out. She may not be internationally famous but she was gaining fame throughout Japan. She crossed her arms. "Mr. Ogrui would not waste his time with mere stylists." God, she couldn't believe she was going to have to work with someone like her.

"
You know, you should really learn who else is in your field here. After all you aren't the only actress in this company." Is what she wanted to say but she bit the bottom of her lip to refrain from actually doing so. She wasn't quite sure who any of the others were but they weren't models, that was for sure. If they were, Ying Hua would know. She knows all of the other models that are apart of Astrolea. After you all you should know about your competition no matter what level they may be at. You never know when they might jump past you.

"My name is Ying Hua Shin. I'm one of the models here at Astrolea." Ying Hua put on one of her signature fake smiles as she introduced her self to everyone in the room, giving a slight bow of her head to try and be respectful. "I hope we work well together." That was an understatement. Just from those few seconds of the actress speaking she knew there was going to be issues all along the way.

(I figured I should mention Ying Hua speaks with a little accent since she is not a native Japanese speaker.)

It was clear from the way everyone stiffened up as the door opened that the CEO had entered. The group snapped to attention, and Reina followed, swivelling around in her seat. Just as she had predicted, there stood Mr. Oguri, looking prim and proper as always. He didn't intimidate Reina in the same way that he seemed to everyone else, but the girl couldn't deny he definitely had a strong presence.

As he explained the situation, Reina felt excitement bubble up inside of her - finally, something to do other than practice all day. It was a relief, she'd only been at Astrolea for a handful of weeks, but to Reina, that felt like ages. To the point where she had started to worry if they were going to actually have her do anything at all. And now? Not only was she going to be performing on stage, but they were going to have her in commercials to boot. Sure, the prospect of doing it alongside literal nationally-known celebrities and models was intimidating, and she hadn't technically ever acted or modelled before, but that wasn't enough to scare her off. Honestly, with some of the stuff she had put up with during her time as an underground idol, this wasn't even remotely the strangest situation she'd been in. 'I have to do my job next to a bunch of famous people, many of which are pretty girls' was a good problem to have, in her book. So then.. when she looked up at her colleagues faces, why did they look so bewildered? It was as if Mr. Oguri had walked in and told them all to fight to the death, rather than work together.

The CEO left as quickly as he had entered, and a heavy silence spread across the room. A silence that did not last long, because-

"Huuuuh?"

There was the thud of someone hitting the table and the squeak of a chair, followed by a long, drawn-out whine. When she looked up in surprise, Reina saw Michiko, although gone was her previous cheerful demeanour. The actress immediately launched into a rant, rattling off a list of complaints. Ahh. She's one of those people. Reina should've figured. You can't be nice, well-adjusted, and in show-bis all at once without something being up. As Michiko continued complaining, Reina felt her concentration slipping. Even when she jabbed a finger at her and directly addressed her, all Reina could focus on was how much the actress reminded her of one of those little yappy dogs. Like a chihuahua, maybe? The comment about Reina being weirdly-dressed bounced right off of her; Reina knew exactly how she looked, in her mind, it was like saying ''you have brown eyes'' or ''you have dyed hair''. Stating the obvious. The idol was barely done formulating that thought when she looked up to see that Michiko had stopped ranting and had gone back to using her overly saccharine affect. It was a little scary how quickly she could switch.

"Oh! Are you guys my stylists? Or prop manager perhaps? Man, Oguri-san gave me the fright, I should have known better. Now now, it is nice to work with you guys, but know I demand perfection, okay? It will be a lot of work from now on but I promise you it will be worth it. I'll even throw in a good name, how about that?"

A previously silent woman interjected. She seemed calm enough, but it seemed like the 'stylist' comment had cut her a little. As she was speaking, it clicked in Reina's mind why the model looked so familiar: she'd literally been looking up at her picture on a billboard just this morning. Ying Hua Shin. It was sort of bizarre to see that she didn't look any different from the photos - you'd expect that with even the most elite models there'd be some kind of editing magic going on, even if it was just smoothing out skin or sharpening features, but the ones at Astrolea were just on another level, she guessed.

The situation seemed to be diffused, and Ying Hua was introducing herself to the others. Reina followed suit, and stood up.

"I already introduced myself, but more people came in so I guess I'll go again! I'm Reina Sawada! You guys can just cut straight to calling me Reina, I don't really like formalities. I'm an idol, but unless you were active in the underground scene I guess you wouldn't know me yet. Workin' on it though!" She flashed a grin and a peace sign to the others in the room, "Anywayy~! Like I said, singing and dancing is kinda my thing. So if you're worried about the concert side of things and need some help, I'm here. If you don't mind taking advice from a Nickelodeon Kid's Award, that is."

With that final statement, Reina gave Michi - who she had already nicknamed 'Chihuahua' in her head - a purposeful smile and sat back down. She wasn't sure how working with a bunch of people who had already gotten off on the wrong foot would go, but they were stuck together regardless, so it felt best to at least try being civil.

"Soo, what about everyone else? What are we all thinking about this?"
