  Welcome to my search thread! I normally like to peruse the bbcode threads and utilize the really gorgeous coding opportunities on this site, but this time I just wanted something easy to read where I could name the tabs. Because I intend for this to be a sort of "last thread I'll ever need" deal, where I lay out my interests. And without the tab system, this thing would likely be way too long to scroll through and no one would ever know what I'm searching for salkdjfg. So with the tabs! You can just look for stuff you're interested in, and go! :3c

  I am triggered by substance abuse, mentions of smoking / vaping / anything similar, drugs, and alcohol. I do not want them mentioned in or out of character. I do not want them mentioned in or out of character. If it appears in Canon, no it doesn't. Nothing I've listed has these limits as such an integral part of the plot or a character that it cannot be separated from them. "But this character-" pretend they don't. Just write it out. There's no reason to mention it, please.
  
  This includes memes and videos and even reaction images. The very popular ones of like Ben Affleck exhausted with the world and the string theory image from Always Sunny are perfect example of things I don't want to see.
  
  And that may be limiting or even frustrating for you, and I understand. You don't have to speak with me. But if you choose to, I am kindly requesting you just don't. Please don't use common slang like "gateway drug" for getting into content, please don't refer to these things at all. If you, as a person, like to drink alcohol or do these things I'm not trying to vilify you or make a judgement on your lifestyle. I'm just asking I don't hear about it. This is a trigger that I simply cannot avoid in my day to day life. It is too prevelant in our society and it's not something people trigger tag for, because no one thinks about it. It's in so much media and it's just everywhere. I'm again not trying to pass judgement, I'm just asking that in the single place I can actually ask to not hear about it, I don't. I'm hoping that's not too big of an ask.
  
  Moving on, while not triggers my other limits include: sexual assault, pedophilia, bestiality, necrophilia, incest, step-incest, adopted-incested, any permutation of that that tries to get slung around sometimes.
  
  I also don't like gritty, grimdark things just for the sake of shock value. This doesn't mean I don't like darker themes, and I can in fact write them; I've even been known to write a mean and fucked up combat scene. I just don't like it for shock value or this inane misguided idea that a story isn't adult/mature/interesting unless it looks like an episode of true crime. (I will also call this the Game of Thrones effect (derogatory) because it feels like after that show, all media decided that's how they had to conduct themselves). So if you're the kind of person who thinks slice of life is boring because it's not "real" enough and that things have to be edgy and shit to be "real" enough for you, I really don't think we'll mesh as partners.

  Cringe is dead, the concept of a Mary Sue and judging OCs based on this imaginary criticism is inherently misogynistic, and having OCs related to canons (or other "Sue" traits) is cool and hot actually! Write that down! It's okay to have powerful, smart, capable OCs! It's fine, I promise!
  
  For the most part, I want to double. Because fair is fair is fair and everyone deserves little a wish fulfillment, as a treat! I mostly write Canon/OC pairs, which is where this trait of mine stems from. But even in OC/OC stuff I'd like to double, so everyone gets what they want. The only exception to this would be I guess if you only want to do the pairing I've listed for "my side", and don't want reciprocation. Which I can't stop you then I suppose, but I'd still prefer if you let me treat you to some wish fulfillment. But as long as you're not asking me to do singles because """you don't write boys""" and are expecting to be a pillow princess (derogatory) then don't even bother. You saw my thread, and came to me on the day my daughter is to be wed, how do you figure that's going to work? That you come into my house and ask me to do murder for money I just don't get to write the character I want? Buck wild.
  
  My side is almost always going to be Canon x OC and either MxF or F//! You can have whatever you want for your side be it OxO, CxC, and any gender configuration your heart desires! I'm even happy to write an OT3 or Love Triangle for your side if that's what you want.
  
  As far as style goes, I write third person present tense. I'm capable of past tense if you prefer, though I may be a bit rusty and it might take me a few swings to get back into the rhythm of it. But I've only been writing in present tense for five years, and I've been roleplaying since 2006. Everything else was past tense so like, I am capable LOL
  
  I write novella style, up to 3,500w if I'm really feeling it. But who has the energy to put that out all the time??? Not me. My average is solidly like, 700w for replies and 1300w-ish for starters/scene changes/other descriptive moments. I can go as low as 200w if we wanna do quickie fast paced replies, but my word count fluctuates like the rising tide and I don't expect you to mirror me all the time. Just write what you feel is necessary to the scene, smack enter, profit. We die like men (without spell checking) in this house.

  ✿ Hand to god the only reason I’m really listing this is because Tony Stark is my number one boyfriend for all time. He’s my favorite and I’m exceptionally gaga over him. All dizzy birds and heart eyes for this sad stinky boy. But I’ve been out of the game for so, so long. The only Phase Four thing I’ve seen is Wandavision. That’s how bad it is. We’d probably have better luck just airlifting Tony out of the fandom and using him as a transplant somewhere else alskdjfhg But I still love him and still have a fondness for a lot of Phase 1 - 3 so if somewhere in there is where you wanna rock?
