this world sleeps, passing from one moment to another in a haze, in a dream. no one dares disturb it, to shake it from its slumber. let it rest, they say. let it sleep. it is foretold by the norns that when the sun and moon gods are swallowed whole, the world will finally wake. the end will commence and the giants will triumph over the aesir. fearful of their own destruction, the sun and moon god flee to the mortal realm, reincarnating themselves as human beings. ever determined to avenge their father, fenrir's children pursue the gods to this realm, becoming wolves once more in order to accomplish their mission. seeking to protect the gods and to destroy fenrir's children, odin reincarnates his loyal wolf companions in similar fashion. he delivers them to the earthly realm with a mission and sends his ravens to aide them in their hunt. with the help of others, these few will stop fenrir's children and ensure the world sleeps evermore.

about this rp is an adventure and battle between wolf-gods and the mortal children of earth. though largely centered on the main cast, fellow rp members will be expected to create mortal wolf characters who will interact with the world. they've an important choice to make which will help decide the fate of the earth and every living creature on it. will they fight to avenge fenrir and start the apocalypse or ally themselves with the aesir and avoid war? this rp is based in the viking age in scandinavia. human characters are available but will not be applied for till later in the rp. these human characters are mostly the sun and moon god and any companions they've made in their journey. being of the godly realm, the main cast is extraordinary. they've abilities beyond that of a normal wolf. enhanced strength and senses are a few of the key differences but other small notes can be taken. for example, hati's pelt is so pale it appears to glow in the moonlight; when sköll walks, the ground beneath her feet burns; huginn and muninn have the ability to see through the eyes of others and communicate telepathically with the wolves. if you've any other abilities you'd like your wolf to have, they must be approved by the gm. i'm not looking to go over the top with any of the abilities.

roles fenrir: lord of all wolves and father to hati and sköll. he appears to most wolves through their dreams, whispering false truths in an effort to turn them against the aesir. he warns them of ragnarök and his coming and promises them the fruits of the land if they ally themselves with the giants. (NPC, cannot be applied for) hati: son of the wolf-god fenrir and brother to sköll. he chases the moon-god across the sky. once he swallows him, ragnarök will commence and the war between god and giant will begin. reincarnated in the mortal body of a wolf, he wanders the earth with his sister sköll in search of the moon-god's reincarnated form. his pelt is pale, turned white from the lack of any sun. he only appears at night and rests in the shadows come day. sköll: daughter to the wolf-god fenrir and sister to hati. she chases the sun-god across the sky. once she swallows him, ragnarök will commence and the war between god and giant will begin. reincarnated in the mortal body of a wolf, she wanders the earth with her brother hati in search of the sun-god's reincarnated form. her pelt is burned black from her exposure to the sun. she only appears during the day and rests at night. geri "greedy one": loyal companion to odin, king of the aesir, and brother to freki. reincarnated in the mortal form of a wolf, he was sent by odin to do battle against fenrir's children. he is to slay the wolf-gods and stop ragnarök by any means necessary.
