"Welcome to Iyuron, travelers!"
578146

A wide, prosperous land cradled within the sea of Miihl stands; long shores, sturdy mountains and great plains of green await for your arrival. Before you, Iyuron, land of nine nations in shattering harmony. The land thrives unlike other, for their source does not only rely on their sole account. Instead, it's the power of their Cores. Cores are the last relics delivered by the gods; strong sources of energy for the mortals to work on. Their potential is beyond common magic, of a higher tier. Thus, greed led inhabitants to battle over their domain. Some unfortunate races, such as the Corians (the only species capable to extract and manipulate energy from the Cores for others to use), were reduced to mere servants of the elite's ambition. Once believed to be endless, they have witnessed a few Core's disappearance, their energy fully drained. Iyuron's seen a few wars, generations perish, races disappear. And yet, as time tells, it seems as if peace has finally settled in. Visit the lands of Gisal, Heca, Dothia, Alaral, Dundee, Hotor, Somor, Gaca and Dabia, behold their beauty! Try not to be devoured by conflict.

The plot
"War? It cannot be."
"Aye, it be comin'."
"Why so sudden? Wasn't everything-- as normal as it could be?"
"It was, until that Corian escaped Gisal. Since then anythin' can keep anyone calm."
"A Corian? What's so important about them?"
"Streets say that they took the only token of peace."
"Which is...?"
"The last remains of Oemis' Core."

After decades of peace between kingdoms the whispers of war began to fly from mouth to mouth. Why? For the escape of a Corian renegade from Gisal's prison. They, once, were ridiculed for the claims of withholding Oemis' (Ancient of Equilibrium), Core, or, well, what remains of it (nothing greater than a golden coin, to fit in one's hand). Alas, those claims were considered true by the ruler of Gisal. In lieu of accounting the subject as it was, in a political move, the monarch decided to withhold the Corian behind bars, the Core with him, until further plans can be made. The escape, however, quickly yielded rumors to spread, to reach other nations, before an extraordinary meeting between rulers was made. Following said meeting tensions were high, the conflict looming above them, albeit no immediate measures were taken. Who's to capture the escapee? Who's to keep the Core? The rulers came to an agreement: send representatives to initiate a quest for the renegade and capture him. What follows shall be decided once the Core's secured.

Don't like action? Then, you've got an option too! Behind the search relationships are strained; it's up to skilled politicians to withhold the declaration of war until the search is successful. Try your ways to subdue the conflict, but beware! Time's not at your side.

The Characters
Who do you want to be? Most species are allowed! No gods or demi-gods, however, for the latter do not exist in Iyuron. You are to pick between an adventurer (who's to search for the Corian through arduous tests and challenges) or a politician (royalty, elite, mere commoners) to withhold the war while the quest is ongoing.
