• Law of Sarcasm Failure: The more sarcastic a post is the more seriously it will be taken, unless the sarcasm is blatantly pointed out in the post (thus ruining the point of being sarcastic in the first place).
    • Drax's Law: Metaphors used on the internet will fail every time either due to the receiving user not recognizing the expression (possibly because it is not used in their country) or being extremely Literal-Minded.
    • "Nobody Asked" Law: As the length of an online argument approaches infinity, the likelihood of a new user being told "nobody asked" or something similar upon expressing their opinion approaches one. When this happens the argument is deemed to be over with no winner as the uses on the receiving end of this law drops the original topic in favor of justifying their place in the argument.

    • Creativity Reward Corollary: The more creative an example of this law is, the more likely it is to be screenshotted and posted somewhere on social media, usually Twitter, Tumblr, or Buzzfeed.
    • One Opinion for All Rule: Around 85% of all users, upon posting an opinion on the internet, will expect everybody and their dog to agree with that opinion.

51% seems oddly specific. Is that to show a definite but slight majority?

Yes. Because that's really about the extent of my knowledge of statistics aside from knowing about outliers.

    Mine too, really.
    • Herd Mentality Failure Law: Any attempt to intentionally invoke herd mentality will inevitably meet with failure.
Theory: Obi-Wan didn't tell Luke about how Anakin really died because it would just be really awkward.

After playing Fire Emblem Heroes I have determined that yes, a lot of FE characters in fact do look like clones of Marth. I mean, seriously.
I really want a Mass Effect TRPG but I also want to play a Geth meaning it'd have to take place post-ME3 and I really hate all the endings.
God doesn't play dice with the cosmos, he plays a much more precise game. And he's winning.

    It's probably checkers.

Sometimes I wonder why some things are Renegade options. Like, stabbing Kai Leng? That's not Renegade, you're doing the galaxy a service.

Well in Udina's case it would be better to keep him alive for interrogation purposes. Of course, he does anyway due to Kaiden/Ashley slamming the Renegade button but still. Seriously, if you don't want him to open the door, just shoot him in the leg.
List of things that don't need and probably shouldn't have Anime Adaptations but I would totally Watch them if they did (or LoTTDNaPSHAAbIWTiTD for short):
    • The Skywalker Saga
    • The Mass Effect Trilogy
    • The Avengers Tetralogy (with mini-series for the other movies)
    • Harry Potter Books 1-7
    • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The problem with being a guy in anime is that even if you are the main protagonist the marketing and fans will inevitably spend more time focusing on the cute female characters than you.
You know, as horrible as the Reapers were, they definitely did us all a favor by driving the Leviathans to near-extinction.
I notice that whoever does the art for Fire Emblem Heroes has an unhealthy obsession with bunny costumes.

    • The "Start Your Own" Law: As a member posts about a grievance they have with a community or offers valid, constructive feedback, the probability that at least one of the replies consists of nothing else but "just make your own forum" or "leave if you don't like it" approaches 1.
