  • Turns out the plural of platypus is platypuses. I kind of liked platypi better, but it's technically incorrect. *The more you know*
Anybody up for more casual conversation? I'm up for it. :) Anyone's welcome.

Well, this was in the early 1700s in Russia. As grim as it is, most of those kids probably died.

(Correction. I just looked it up. Only 3 died. I'm baffled. The father also went on to conceive another 18 children after he left the mother.)
    Also, I didn't

Did you know that cats do not meow as a form of communication between them, unlike dogs? Cats invented meowing explicitly to grab the attention of humans. At least, as adults.

Oh wow, that's actually cool that only 3 of those children died. Kind of inspirational, too.

I feel like I did know the cat thing already... But it was probably hidden deep down in my memory or something, lol.

Did you know that potato chips were invented by an annoyed chef who wanted to tick off a fussy customer?
Yes, thanks for passive-aggressively sighing as I tell you there's a long wait on a line, while I'm sitting here being stabbed in the uterus

One girl and her posse explicitly told me they try to "torture the life guards." She kept trying to piss me off for fifteen minutes. It all culminated in her walking up to me and really painfully pinching my leg. I snapped and tried to kick her in the head, nearly missing her, and growled "don't TOUCH me." The look of fear on her face was beautiful, and I'm a non-aggressive person. I swear kids...

Yep. Just a rough day, I'm good now~!
You know, after a long time of not playing Pokemon Go, I find that I really like what they've done with it. I'm goin' back in, guys!
Having a mother that used to do forum moderating, I have a special appreciation for the crap y'all have to put up with. Thank you mods <3
Sorry, I'd totally come, but I forgot how to do the living. Contact me later, perhaps I've figured it out by then.

You tired, perhaps? XD Long night, perhaps? Too many "perhaps", perhaps?
"So let me rest in peace. Let me get some sleep. Let me take my love and bury it in a hole 6 foot deep!"
"I will not fall. Won't let it go... We will be free.. When it ends."

I have been waiting for someone like you, but now you are slipping away. (What have you done now?)
I wonder when they decided that the words "good" and "night" were used together so much that they made it into all one word? Meh. Goodnight!

I wonder where all the poop goes?

    Goodnight!

Just looked it up: "goodnight" actually isn't a word. It's just a common mistake. Does... does that count as an answer?

I think that does, actually.. the more you know.

Bruh I didn't know that anyone else knew that song

I'm going to be honest, I have no idea where it comes from. But I'm taking a wild guess and saying it's religious. :P

Well, it's a folk and gospel song, so in a way yes. I think I've heard the song like once, somewhere...

I originally heard it from an animated series on YouTube called "No Evil", by Betsy Lee. But it's not really popular so I doubt you've heard of it, anyways.
It's a sad day when people forget the true meaning of Roleplaying, and are no longer happy because of it.

I don't believe StoneWolf is trying to imply that. People can have fun perfecting their writing, but when it comes to the point that you're no longer focusing on having a good time anymore because you're so stressed about perfection, it's straining and no longer fun.

I'm not saying that a hobby can't have quality, because it can. I was referring to people who *only* roleplay for perfection and nothing more. Not story, characters, or even enjoyment at times.

alright. Yeah, a pet peeve like that can be quite annoying- especially if your sense of "perfection" strays from that of others- good point.
