Other Random question of the day

Random question of the day:

If you could, would you step through the screen to comfort your favorite fictional character if they had a broken heart?
1000% yes! We would become besties after as I try my hand at comedic relief depending on the situation. If my comforting fails, I simply step back into the screen from whence I came, rewind, and pretend nothing ever happened.

Yes, several times in school I got super overwhelmed between class and homework and clinicals and working part/full time depending on the week. I, uh, didn't handle it super well and had to step back from work while I got clinicals out of the way. Still trying to tie up some loose ends with clinicals, and then I'll be able to go back to work.

As the adults on Twitter who throw temper tantrums and blame parties like children and children in schools acting so much more mature than the adults who raise them....

Yes. Age shouldn't determine your personality. It should at least determine the baseline of what one should expect for someone's maturity, but I have found so many immature adults and mature kids that this is a rather moot point, as well.

Random question of the day:

Have certain moments in video games/movies/tv shows given you a headcanon for the franchise said product belongs to?
All the time :3 All the time :3

Like... If it's got fantasy elements and I get sucked into the mechanics of how that world works (especially if there's a hot anime guy), I'm definitely making characters and making headcanons for other mechanics and attacks and all that to expand upon (and maybe the canon characters but I usually stick close to canon and fill up more cute stuff in between canon knowledge to fill them out).

Rather than “shouldn’t” I would say it “doesn’t” determine your personality. There are physiological factors that are part of respective ages of course, but the specific experiences, environment as well as other circumstances and even the base personality and general tendencies of the individual in question can and often will respond very differently to those physiological factors, which is will likewise thus have different degrees and forms of influence in one’s personality.

Age has an influence in personality, but that influence isn’t so straightforward that the pattern becomes anywhere near deterministic.

Random question of the day:

Would you say that anything Disney and Microsoft touches turns to dust?

Star Wars? Yes.
When it came down to Halo CE, 2, 3, and Mickey Mouse stuff as well as Disney Princesses? No. Even Marvel is still surprisingly good.

It just.... depends on who is able to work on them and what agenda they want to show.

No? I mean the MCU has been an unmitigated success. Star Wars has been mostly misses, but some hits [I liked Rogue One and Mando], some of the newer Disney movies haven't really made me interested, at all, their 'premier access' is an insult [Hey, you wanna pay 30 bucks to see a meh movie on our streaming site that you are already paying for?] and I really, really hate Disney 'reimagined classics' [Mulan hurt my god damn soul] but as long as people keep shilling out money to see them, they will keep making them and I can't really.. fault Disney for going for the easy money.

What has Microsoft 'turned to dust'? Like one video game studio went under after buying them and that was the studios fault. By all accounts, Microsoft is easy to work for and tends to let those under its umbrella do their own thing. Gamepass is a great idea.. They did great with the Age of Empire's remaster.. Honestly, the only thing that has me worried is Windows 11 and that is just because Microsoft has a history of like.. bad OS release, good OS release, bad OS release, good OS release... and boys, 11 falls on the 'bad' pattern. So, hope they break that.

Considering how well, financially, both companies are doing, especially Microsoft, its hard to say they are 'turning things to dust'. Unless like.. its gold dust?

Between Marvel and Pixar on the Disney side and Minecraft on the Microsoft side, I'd say no. Besides, if they couldn't release good product they wouldn't be as prosperous as they are.

Talk about a late night, can't sleep, 3 am brain question. Same as I would any other party? Music, food, the works. Feel like if it was a deaf party, then it'd be different in that you wouldn't really put on music, but outside of that, don't really see anything that you'd need to change.

No. I don't read comics so I have no reason to. And I don't punch people in the face for no reason.

Not that I know of. I mean some are just pretty awful like Garth Ennis. Like... Just, good god, is he an awful writer. I really don't think people understand just how much Amazon had to change in 'The Boys' to get it to not suck. They took mediocrity, borderline offensively bad, and made it good.

Probably nobody. "Ruining someone's life" is a pretty drastic action for just having some beef with someone, and there's nobody I hate enough that I'd wish that on them. Besides, they most likely have family and loved ones that would be affected, whether that's emotional or financial fallout or even the their death being part of ruining the victim's life. Even if the victim did deserve it, they don't.
