Well the point of a character is being an Air Acolyte. An Air nomad in all but bending capability. (Though I couldn't decide between that and an earth bender because I'm indecisive so I did both..kinda)

In ww2 french underground would have tavern and restaurants own by the resistance for the purpose of picking up information from nazi soliders that got to drunk or to talkative women.
There no reason that cant work temporary in an avatar world. It be important that characters working with Adrien keep their identities secret.

It an idea okay. Better than starting in a bunch of different locations. Pretending to be neutral is common tactic during war.

Now I just mention knives for this might get those out latter have to have them made to not be metal bent as the knives likely can right now just a little situational weapon besides equalists tend to go for capture not kill

Only cause amon likes to make public show of removing bending. It likely he now going for the kill. He has control of republic city among other things.

well it seems equalists are basically the ss or secret police they are special above the police and common citizens so i assume they are only allowed that rank if they are that trusted
