Well given the other roles were already filled and someone already discussed and then passed on being the crews hacker, I thought filling in that sort of comm/hacker role would be fun. If thats a role that you still think could make a good addition.

I have taken a look yes, between the The Interspace Task Force our bad guys, Data Pods, the Ship, the fact the captain and some others just having escaped a meltingly hot planet called Inferos. I have been reading over it a few times, though i'm sure I missed some stuff.

Male.
But I can give more than that, I kinda started making the character already (knowing it'd need adjusting and I cant finish any backstory)
Human, genetically modified. Growing up affluently under the oppressive expectations of his father who's a ITF Project Leader for the Science/R&D divisons.

The affiliation with the ITF just seemed like a natural thing to help along everything, better insight into security and stuff though I could change a bunch of this I guess.
And I wasn't aware anybody else was explicitely genetically modified, I know the Captain got super syrumed. :/
I was taking it less an angle of super soldier and having it be played more like the genetically-perfect pet, the legacy for a overbarring perfectionist of the project leader but again I didn't realise.

Though i'll admit that some of the backstory does share traits with Everett, the richer family, highly educated by it, having their world view greatly challenged kinda stuff.

I had planned for them to very much be a bit of a techy, using tech they grabbed from their fathers lab like a forcefield generator as part of their combat stuff, possibly aboard a small combat drone but all of this might be stuff I have to change or rewrite anyway.

Sorry. Thinking of something truely unique isn't that easy.

Edit: But it's still nothing "unqiue", I had also thought a contrast of them being a lot more outwardly outgoing and idealistic compared to how cynical the crew seemed to be interesting but- shrug

Sorry about being picky, I just prefer the free to grow more diverse if I’m going to allow more people to join. On that note, we have a surplus of male characters as it is so your chances are shot down a bit more. But if your character proves to be interesting enough, you’ll still be able to join.

Also I tend to group genetic modification and mechanical enhancements under the same category seeing as they have the same results more often than not.
