But it’s not really that nerfed. Yes, he can't control it perfectly, but at the end of the day how much that affects him is up to you as a writer. And yes, it causes him pain, but you can fight through that kind of thing.

Btw, how big a role is the teachers gonna play? I have an idea for a gadget based villain but I want to know how major a character Technicity is gonna end up being before I decide if that's a good idea or not.

Because it's a bit overpowered? Like, being able to downgrade/upgrade technology on it's own is more than powerful enough. And he has two more quirks aside from that.

1. He isn't just any hero. He's #2
2. The upgrade/downgrade is nowhere near instantaneous. It takes at minimum a few hours of just using his quirk for the simplest of works.
3. Although I must have forgotten to add it, most of his quirk, including the control and absorbing electricity portions, requires that he has to actually touch the piece of technology.

Cool, he's still overpowered as all hell though. To further my point, take a look at Endeavor. He's the number 2 hero in canon and he's nowhere near your character power wise.

A) This wasn't mentioned in your CS B) There's still numerous instances where it'd be ridiculously overpowered.

And while this does balance it to an extent, it's nowhere close enough for it to make up for it entirely.

My suggestion is to pick one quirk and focus on that. There's nothing wrong him capable of manipulating technology or shoot and control electricity or have his brain work as a computer or being able to downgrade/upgrade technology, but he shouldn't have all four at once.

Oh, and regardless of the one you pick, I'd ditch the whole "being able to change parts of his body into weapons".
