I'm going to have Steppy attack Themyscira, have Diana go to Asgard and hang out for a bit so she won't be able to help.

EDIT: The_Omega_Effect The_Omega_Effect Remove the bits in your post about Darkseid not wanting to invade Earth due to Highfather. Because that has got me in a corner where I can't have Steppenwolf invade with his forces..

The meaning behind it was that a drawn out invasion would cause a war with Highfather which is why Darkseid has to rely on a more blitzkriegy invasion where if he captures Earth fast enough, Highfather would not dare start a war that would lead to countless deaths as Earth is already lost.
