"Ah well thank you for the new information." Kachina said as she smiled at the two. She watched as the two bowed to one another and withdrawal her smile as the other walked off. She continued to what the other go as the boy with his dark locks tied up spoke to her. She couldn't help but silently chuckle at his tone. For someone who seemed the same projected age as her, Kachina would think the boy would carry more of a voice in himself.​

"I see." She finally looked to him after he finished speaking, and gave another smile. "You weren't planning on going off on your own as well were you? I feel that exploring, however great it is spent alone, is never truly the same without someone to share and relive the discoveries with."

"Oh! Um....thanks?" Cy wasn't sure how she was supposed to properly respond to Seri's giggling, and was actually curious as to why she was giggling. As she stood up and straightened her skirt and t-shirt, she bit her lip, a behavioral trait she still found very
interesting. Usually among humans, it indicated something. For her, she was completely clueless as to what it meant. She had to admit, the idea of exploring these feelings, whatever they were, positive or negative, she had for this Klaus intrigued her a lot.

Seri hummed, "Though we'll have to do it later since I don't know where he went off to. I guess I could introduce you to my friend. She's a witch so she might have some sort of spell to help us out." Where would Anya be, anyway. The siren paused to consider it. Due to her anti-social(ish) nature, the place that came to mind was the library. "Let's go find her and even if we don't, you'll get a tour out of it!" Seri winked at her new friend.

Joanne smiled as Kyni approached her but then her face took on a more concerned look as Kyni's own expression changed. What did she mean Cael will kill them? It all sounded so weird to her but she couldn't help but somewhat understand where the girl was coming from. "I, uh, well..." Joanne froze on the spot as both Kyni and Cael turned to her, expecting her to be the big equalizer in this little moment of tension they were having. On one hand, Kyni did have a point but she had also shown signs of being a very paranoid girl for whatever reason; on the other hand, Joanne really liked Cael thus far and enjoyed his company a lot, she felt like she had a friend in him. She had to admit to herself, though, that the thought of Cael going supernova for whatever reason and killing them both did cross her mind when he mentioned his magical powers and capabilities.

Her brow furrowed and she frowned, unsure of what to do. After some deliberation her mind was made up: Joanne had decided that she trusted Cael since he had never shown any signs of being aggressive, but she also knew Kyni might run off if she percieved that Cael and Joanne were planning something together. "Listen Kyni, I, uh, think we should get out of here first... besides, it's not like h-he has shown any signs of being a bad person right?" Joanne tried her hardest to not sound like she was completely siding with Cael to not scare Kyni off. She stood up and helped Kyni up as well, then turned to Cael with a smile and a worried look in her eyes. "We should get going before she runs off again in here." Joanne got very close to Cael and whispered in his ear, to not alert Kyni too much.

Ezra felt many times better now that her ears weren't being rubbed. Sighing in contentment, Arthur allowed Ezra control.
"This one feels much better thank you."
She said and placed the beanie loosely on her head.
"This one is curious as to why your ears are flexible and soft instead of hard and bony? She understands she has ears but she assumes that everyone with a pair of ears on their head is like hers."
She said after looking at his ears for a few moments before feeling her ears with confusion. So many questions on everything around her and she was a second year.​

Adam paused, and began to think. "Uh.....genes?" He said, not exactly sure why his ears were so fluffy. "You wanna feel them?" He asked her. He gave a brief glance at Klaus, wondering what he was even doing. Had he seen him stroke her ears?

"Actually," Cthylla said, rubbing the back of her head, "I just came back from the library. But if you think your friend is there, sure, we could check it out." She actually felt rather proud of herself for not stuttering or anything. Maybe it wasn't so bad being a human? Then something hit her. "Wait, what do you mean by spell?"

Maylee took off once she figured out the direction of the scent that had caught her interest was coming from. "Damn it Maylee, the hell has gotten into you!?"He took off after the hell hound, hoping to catch her before she scared anyone.
Maylee had bolted straight for Mac, her tail wagging with excitement at her find. The young hell hound was quite curious as to why someone like her was around. Malvagio trailed behind with very little hope to catch her until she decided to stop.

A red fox darted into the common room and up onto one of the tables to scout the surroundings. He was excited to be back for another year of school, his bright blue eyes scanned the crowd for familiar faces or anyone else who might be fun. His tail flicked around in excitement. His eyes landed on a girl on her own and looking bored. He jumps from his perch and transforms mid leap before sauntering over to her. He had his vulpine traits hidden with magic, uncertain how the girl would react. "I haven't seen your lovely face around here before. Is this your first year at the academy?"

"A locating spell," she said, sounding as if she was trying to soothe her. "Nothing hairy, you know?" Or at least not yet. It wouldn't be the first time Seri managed to rope Anya up in some mischief, usually something related to romance. She has already tried to set up Anya with some suitors but nothing has come of it.

"Well, no time like the present, come on," Seri waved in the direction of the library, moving in that direction herself. "Even if you've been there before, there's other places she might be."

He was slightly taken aback at her comment about herself, always finding it rather sad when someone regarded themselves so poorly. He literally shrugged it off. "You seemed lonely and I could not stand to see a young lady such as yourself lonely. It just wouldn't be right. And especially to have it be your first impression of this lovely school."

The school was a huge disappointment, he thought to himself. Too far located from any decent tavern was bad enough, but located in the middle of a forest? No excitement at all! He would tolerate a volcano or even a desert nearby. It wasn't even winter, but his paws already felt too cold for his liking. His tail flicked around as he attempted to float from the ground. Once he was safely airborne, the distaste in his eyes melted for a bit. At least the school would have new people to impress. The thought entertained him as he floated above the school ground, and entered through one of many windows.

The black cat stretched his paw lightly on the stone floor before pulled it back. Cold. With a new distaste in his eyes, he broke the spell that let him hover comfortably in the air and land noiselessly. He spied a few students in the library. Most of them were reading quietly, just like good pupils. Kitty began to think he might tolerate the place when he heard a huge crash in the supposedly quiet place. Doesn't anyone know what quiet means? A piece of his mind might do them good.

Gingerly walking toward the source of the noise, he was greeted by the sight of a half dragon, leaning against a shelf. The shelf tilted dangerously from his weight. At least three other students flocked around the dragon. Like crows around an ear of corn. He wouldn't mind them so much if not for the racket they were making.

"I thought the common room would have fewer books than this. Or is this the library? "

Launet Serfa
She wanted to smacked the cat as he rudely growled while walking passed them. When the shelf began to shake and started crashing towards them she threw up a force field. It kept them all safe. She used her demon energy to send the self backwards on top of the cat. She didn't intend to hurt him so she put a force field over him. "like I said if you don't know the situation then don't run your mouth." There was a taking sound behind her as the librarian came up behind her, "Launet Serfa, please try to refrain from using magic in here." She turned and bowed slightly, "Don't worry I'll clean it up." The librarian nodded, "Okay." SadSnake Damafaud Shagranoz Alias​

"I'm sorry, who are you talking to?", Timothy asked Launet as she began threatening someone. He turned and only saw a black cat. Suddenly, the shelf began falling towards them. He braced for impact... but it never came. The shelf just leaned in place, as if it was leaning on some invisible force field on top of them. He then watched as Launet sent the bookshelf on top of the cat. "Um... why are you fighting a cat?", he asked in confusion.

McCartney Scarsworth​

McCartney looked up as Lukas tapped her shoulder, pulling her from her thoughts about chasing after the deer. "Oh, yeah, certainly," she replied, leaning down to pull a pack of cigarettes from inside the ankle of her combat boot. McCartney took one for herself and lit it before passing the pack and the lighter to the vampire. She inhaled deeply, the calming effects of the nicotine moving through her veins almost immediately. Looking up at Crootal, McCartney nodded, gesturing over to where there were a few benches across the courtyard. She grabbed her bag from the ground and crossed the courtyard to the benches, sitting down on one. She smelt the approaching hellhound before she saw her, stiffening slightly. She hadn't been around someone like herself before, but this one smelt more pure. Not a mixed breed as she was.

Cthylla sighed with relief. She felt rude now for having thought Seri meant something like that. "Yeah, I guess that could work," she admitted. "And yeah, it could be fun, looking around the school....."

Right now, however, she was trying to sort out these complex human emotions. And she was....not sure what her feelings were on it, either. At the most, she felt frustrated, though aware of the small paradox in place, which only made her more frustrated...

"What is Klaus like?" She asked Seri.

"Like I said before, he was only a first year last year so I didn't get much time to get to know him. The ones I know the most about are in my class. Though I think I heard that he can be a bit arrogant? I don't know." Seri opened the door leading indoors from the garden that they were in. She turned left in the hallways. It was a long corridor with high ceilings, lit by candles. Despite the small flames, it was pretty well lit. They passed by a few other students but it was mostly empty which was a surprise considering that it was the first day of school. Seri wondered where most of the people were. They weren't missing anything, were they?

Amaria hopped on top of one of the benches, though she didn't really feel like sitting. She felt like exploring. After seeing Mac, Lukas, and Crootal she couldn't imagine what else was new at the Academy this year. The hybrid adjusted her champagne colored tank, standing up a bit awkwardly. "Well, I'll be back... I need to go check on Lavinia and stuff. But I'll see you around and such! Definitely hit me up and say hi to me if ya see me!" With that being said, she pivoted and bounced her way into the forest, admiring the way the trees swayed in the wind. It had been a couple months since she last saw her beloved Lavinia. Oh, how she adored her little fins! The young girl was beaming with happiness as she made her way on the familiar path, seeing the same trees bend and sway in the wind as the song birds flitted through the air.

Maylee slowed down, and bounced next to Mac barking excitedly. She clearly wanted her attention. Malvi managed to catch up shortly after. "I am so sorry about her." It was all he managed to spit out before he had to take a moment to catch his breathe. He took that moment to grab Maylee's collar and tried to pull her away a little bit. "I think having so many new and different people around has her rather excited." He had yet to notice the other two there since he was so focused on trying to get Maylee to calm down.

"Ooh better yet is there any place in particular that you want to see?"

Crootal slid onto one of the benches with her usual elegance and settled in a cross legged position on it. Just as she settled and said goodbye to Amaria she heard the sund of a dog barking in the distance and strained herself to see why the dog was so excited but it didn't last long as she found the dog racing towards the group with her owner in tow not far behind. "Its quite alright." She slowly edged of the bench and cautiously aproached the pup hand held low as if in request of permission and without looking at her in the eyes directly. Crootal wasn't afraid of the dog, but in her experience animals tend to be less restless when treated with respect. "My name is Crootal but you can call me 'crow'." She said not averting her eyes from the ground to gain the trust of the dog.

He glanced at the pup as she ran straight for Mac, taking a drag of his cigarette and handing her back the pack and lighter. "Looks like you have a fan." He said with a slight chuckle he wondered if the pup could take a human form or if she was plan and simple, a dog. He took another drag and exhaled slowly glancing up at the man that came running behind the pup. "Don't worry about it man she was just excited to smell someone like her in a way." She turned her eyes back to Timothy and her eyes went back to the dark pink. Her hair and horn also went back to normal. "He was the one who so rudely interrupted us as we were trying to take care of...um..." She glanced at the man, "Sorry I'm not good with names...but anyways he tried pushing that shelf over on top of us..." She finally realized that the girl had asked her if her horn was cursed, "No it's just my demon sighed, my hand heal while my horn kills." Alias SadSnake Damafaud Shagranoz ​

He expected the group to protect themselves (like the dragon), but he certainly didn't expect one of them to blast the shelf back at him! He folded his ears flat on his head and prepare to Transport the moment he felt the shelf... but the impact never came. He peeked his left eye opens and saw the shelf floated a few centimetre above him. The demon girl continued to scold him for barging in without knowing anything. Blood boiled in his little fluffy head. Now she's lecturing me? At least the librarian made her promise to clean the mess up, and he managed to walk away with his nose and tail high in the air.

The boy has more sense. He thought to himself. No one in their right mind would fight a harmless, elegant, and magnificent cat like him. He paused in front of the boy and rested his tail on the floor. A pair of yellow eyes widened, staring deep into the boy's eyes. In a feign of curiosity, he tilted his head slightly to the left. Then, to add to it, Kitty let a low decibel growl built up in his throat, and to finish the act, let a single high pitched sound echoed through the room.

She let the shelf sway back in place and sighed slumping against it. She knew the cat had been the one to push the shelf on him because of her own ability with smelling magic energies. As weird as it was she thought maybe it came from her mother. She used to hear unicorns were rather sensitive to magic. Tim probably thought she was an ass now, along with the other two. She wasn't sure but even if she did tell them it was the cat's fault the shelf came tumbling on top of them, they probably wouldn't believe her. Using her healing magic on Tim and then this had taken it out of her but she stood anyway and began to gather the books. She frowned as some of them had been torn from the fall, she collected all of the torn ones and brought them up to the Librarian, "Lu are you seriously going to buy all these..." She nodded, "You know me if they get ruined by me or I find them ruined I always buy them so you can get better ones in stock." She said with a soft smile as she ran her fingers over one of the book. The Librarian's head shook, "We do appreciate you doing that for us but one day you'll go broke." Launet shook her head, "Never, you can't go broke with knowledge." The Librarian chuckled at her silly joke, but Lu was actually serious. All the books she had bought from here since the first year had taught a bunch of things about other creatures of the world. Taught her their weaknesses, strengths, what some are like. It was rather interesting and she had never had a friend to talk to worry hang with so she had read them over and over until it was burned into her brain. She handed over money she had earned over the summer, the books almost took it all. "Oh, we got THAT book in that you ordered...it took a lot for us to get our hands on it but we managed to." Launet's ears perked up, "R-Really?!?!" Her eyes brightened a bit and she smiled, "This is wonderful!!!" She was practically screaming with excitement. SadSnake Alias Shagranoz

"Okay," Cy said, thinking over what she had just learned. She wasn't sure what to think of it, honestly, and decided she would have to meet Klaus in person to decide what her feelings were on him.

Though, she wanted to change the subject, so she decided to ask about this friend. "What is you friend like?"

As launet took the books to the librarian, Thauvin got confused. he thought he was the one that made the books fall by leaning on the shelf. He never thought a student could be so rich to just buy any books he damaged... then again, this isn't any academy. People were filled to the brim with magic. And soon, he was going to learn magic as well. As the librarian mentionned a book, Thauvin's tail started swiping exitingly. The rarest a book was, the better their content was. if anyone searched for them, that is. He slowly tapped on launet's shoulder, and said: "i... if you don't mind, maybe i could read that book, after you do?" his eyes were spraking with exitement. It was probably about magic as well, and he had to study it before the classes.

She jumped slightly, "Oh...um...Well..." She wasn't really sure if she should it was pretty much a forbidden book. It dealed with both demon and unicorn mixes. Telling her their stories, their powers and how to increase and make hers more fatal. She planned on using it against the unicorns and demons who had been trying to kill her and who had her parents killed. She ran a hand through her hair, "It's...more of a personal book for myself. It's about my kind, and well i mean I wont stop you from reading it but it's not what i think you're expecting..." The Librarian came out and set the book down, "Here is the thing, the book bonds with the unicorn user, only your horn will open this book." She glanced over to the man, "If you wish to read it then she will have to be with you otherwise the book attacks the person with dark energy." The book was a black hard cover with gold trim around the edges, the gold swirled up to the top of the book where a hole seemed to be. The bottom of the book read, "The Forbidden Breed." Lu glanced over to Thauvin, "You sure you want to read this?" SadSnake ​

Thauvin nodded. it didn't matter the nature of the knowledge. Knowledge is still knowledge. And he was going to live with the horned lady for a year. Besides, it costed nothing to read this book. as long as launet was with him, we would be safe. he hoped...

She turned back to Thauvin, "Well if thats the case then it's nice to meet you, my name is Launet, but you can call me Lu if you like." Her smile was warm and soft, she didn't extend her hand to him because it would use more of her magic and if that happened she was likely to pass out. She didn't want him to think of her as rude so she told him, "I'd shake your hand but my healing powers tend to try and heal anyone I touch if something is wrong...It's part of the reason im here at this Academy. To learn to control both my demon and unicorn power." SadSnake ​
