Jennifer and Ariana
Ari saw exactly what Charlie was doing, but she admired it. She replied to him by saying "Jennifer's apartment." Meanwhile Jen had moved ahead, and was already almost at the building. She smiled when the child reached for her face, and responded to her by saying "Hi!" back to her. Eventually Ari caught up, and Jen opened the door to the complex. It was a simple structure on the inside. It had a cozy feel, with cracked tiles and a few elevators, one with an 'out of order' sign on it. There was a front desk with an older man sitting there. He was obviously blind, as he had a dog that seemed to be of the puli breed next to him that had a vest on it that read 'service animal'. "Hello Jen! How are you doing? Is that Ari I hear?" he stated, trailing off in the end. "Sorry Steve, I can't talk right now. I'm kinda busy." This was one of those times that Jen was glad that she got a room on the second floor, as altogether there were five floors. She ignored the elevators entirely and went for the staircase instead. She knew she needed to hurry. She had to be strong for the baby... and the pastries too!

Squiddly
Squiddly had been waiting for a fair amount of time hiding, waiting for the right time to strike in the pastry shop, even though her stomach was growling and had been for a while, she knew she had to be patient and wait for the right moment. And that distraction came from a smaller thing than herself.

Initially, she smelled it from a fair distance and determined that wouldn't be good to eat, so Squiddly pondered becoming acquainted with it in the future. Squiddly realized now that what it was doing caught the attention of humans and they were now preoccupied with it. Squiddly now realizing it was the best time now, began to quickly run quietly out of the vision of the humans there, eyeing around quickly to see if she could find something to eat, but there seemed to be no luck on the ground.

Looking up, to herself the counters which were massive would be best to reach, as she knew she could extend her tentacles up to reach it. So she approached the edge of one hoping she was outside the view of any of the humans, and quickly extended two of her hair tentacles up into the air, looking like a grappling hook or thing of rope coming up into the air to now grip onto the edge of the counter, she tugged twice, making sure she had a firm grip and began pulling herself up like a pulley system, moving up slowly she watched with awe as she went higher and higher, the view becoming better the higher she went up.

Finally once Squiddly made it she used her small little arms to help pull her up and over, now retracting the two tentacles back to normal length as part of her "hair" she glanced around her new surroundings, seeing plenty of pastries and other sweets there, "Geso!~" She stated aloud with excitement singingly, but before she could celebrate further, she was reminded of the human presence in the room as shock waves rocked her and startled her as they moved around trying to catch the smaller 'blob'.

Moving quickly, Squiddly began to extend her tentacles to grip and bring over some things for her to sniff to decide whether she would want to eat it, first her tentacles gripped onto an oatmeal cookie, smelling it she rejected it, glancing around her tentacle found a blueberry muffin, smelling that as well, she found she didn't like it. Finally Squiddly, had her tentacles bring over a chocolate chip muffin, after smelling it she decided this would be the one, it was easy enough to also carry and run with.

Squiddly used her other free tentacles to extend out to the floor, grabbing onto it she began to drag herself with the muffin over her head, to the floor safely, and then began to bolt straight for the open door, from which she finally made it out and proceeded to dodge human's feet left and right as she was accustomed to, yet was nonetheless scary for her.

Finally, she found an open alleyway she could go to, so she made a right to bring herself to the alley with her reward. She triumphantly smiled with glee and yelled out "Geso!" but before she made the decision to now start eating as her mouth was now salivating and her stomach really growling telling her to dig in, she went to the corner of the alley and peered outwards with her little head, glanced down and saw a ball made out of the same thing she saw earlier rolling by, she guessed this was it and decided she wanted to be friends with it, so extending her tentacle back to the muffin, she took a piece of it big enough for the blob to eat, assuming it would want to eat as a sign of both peace and friendship. So she brought it to herself and then extended the tentacle out low to the ground for blob to see and hopefully stop and follow and take the offering.

Alexander Rooker, being a billionaire needed a way to keep up his reputation so that people don't even get suspicious. He attends parties and such at first just so people didn't get fishy but after a while, he started to enjoy it. "People with same interest and views, grand food, expensive champagne..... i start to see why people come to these things" he thought in his mind. Suddenly a woman hit him and said "why the long face alex? enjoy the party! we spared no expense". "yes i can tell... but i have to be leaving, it's getting quite late" he said as he stood up and left the house. He walked on the sidewalk of the street, enjoying the day.

"Splat"

It rolled on for a little while down the pavement, bouncing off the cracks and bumps in the concrete as it did so. It couldn't tell if it'd made it away from the humans or not... but it wasn't planning on stopping to find out just yet. It knew from its limited experience that they could move pretty fast when they wanted to.

Eventually, though, it rolled into something it wasn't expecting at all. Something... squidgy. It stayed still for a moment, feeling for vibrations in the ground. There was nothing big - presumably there were no humans around. Deeming it safe, it shaped itself into a humanoid form, and looked at the obstruction, initially intending on finding a way to climb over it.

Oddly, it'd apparently ran into... well, it did't really know what it was. It was blue and felt slightly slimy, and seemed to be alive, but other than that, it really had no idea. It quickly noticed the brown-ish material on top of it though. It picked it off, and observed it, both eyes scanning it over, and its hands feeling the texture. Hmm... it was pretty solid. But too wet and perishable.

It tossed it aside, and turned its attention back to the strange object. It followed it down with its eyes, eventually spotting the odd... thing, that it was attached to. It walked over to it, not really sure what to make of it.

It seemed to resemble a girl in some ways - the face and body was roughly similar, with arms and legs all being where it'd expect. But, of course, there were quite a few differences - even though she towered over it still, it was clearly much smaller than a human. It cocked its head slightly to the side in confusion. How very odd.

At was at this point it spotted something else out of the corner of its eye, its head turning around to look at it. A muffin, sitting next to the strange blue girl. Of course, it wasn't interested in the muffin itself. But it was interested in the paper case that lined the bottom of it. It wandered over to it on all fours, and jumped up, grabbing the case from the top, and pulling it down, ripping a thin strip from it. It repeated this a couple of times, before its hands were full. It then stuffed the collected material into its torso, vanishing into its body, presumably saving it for later.

Its slight detour complete, it turned its attention back to the blue girl. She was clearly alive, moving and breathing, but wasn't actively trying to squash it. And for the first time, it was able to recognise her facial expressions - this was a bit of information it had always known, but humans were far too big for it to comprehend an entire face at once. And it could now see it wasn't aggressive. If anything, it was friendly.

Suddenly, everything clicked into place. All those social constructs that it always had lurking around in the back of its head, but had never known how to or what to use them on. It recognised the brown material it'd offered it earlier as a gift, a sign of peace. It scrambled back over to the piece it'd originally discarded, and picked it up with both hands, slightly struggling to carry it under the weight. It waddled up to the squishy girl, and placed the oversized crumb in front of her, then stepped back, looking up to see what she would do.

It looked ahead in the distance, as the pale blue dot became a full blown world. It was blue and green and white and yellow. It was beautiful. It hated it. It was still about a minute or two away though. It was somewhat close to its massive satellite though. It was confused, not sure if the satellite was a moon or a binary planet pair. It seemed barren, except... it saw a strange structure on the object, which looked like the bottom part of a battlecraft. It refocused its gaze to the green and blue planet. It was... excited.

Vítězslav put back on a smile and the farce of horror, and anything else subsided, he watched with some admiration as Remmy ended up pouring himself and the two a drink, he didn't however take a drink yet. "With people with superpowers running around, I guess it's hard to say if anything can top the weird things you see around here today." Namgung nodded in agreement.

Vítězslav's charisma began to flood its way back into the room, it was honestly as if his charisma was it's own superpower and almost all encompassing, listening to Remmy speak he had to admit he was impressed with the fact that Remmy had just planned out a way to change up the scenario even more, and hopefully lead to little to no issue with the cops, people like that were people Vítězslav could respect more than most, if he honestly respected anyone other than Namgung either way, this confirmed why Vítězslav needed to have this man alongside him, if he could convince him to do it, he knew there was the risk that if he was not in on it that their identities could be compromised, but honestly this man looked bored and wanted to do something, might as well make him useful. And so began Vítězslav planting the seeds of his plan, his mind racing with the scenarios and how to respond, he also wanted to see how much this man knew of his own past, obviously if anything he may hide it to look normal, but also realistically if the man had that healing factor it would make sense if the man was older than he let on and for all he knew this body could have been around hundreds of years old and Remmy could pass this off as being born in the late 80's early 90's.

"You definitely had a plan already set out to be executed, I like your style and I don't really care if we got rewarded we have a bit of a mutual agreement to have the least amount of trouble from this incident as you want, but you know I am honestly curious wha... Ah, never mind that will have to wait cops are arriving."

Vítězslav then realized the sirens were coming, so he paused and decided he would save it for later, for right now he had to be prepared for speaking to the cops, and just like an actor he changed his body language and everything for what would be a security guard of a place like this. Namgung had wanted to speak, but was interrupted by the sirens, she knew it would be better to wait, and she observed as Vítězslav did his magic and changed the way he carried himself around, which wasn't much of a surprise to her anymore, since she has seen him do this many times before previously. She figured that she should act as a witness that can attest to the testimony the two were going to give for this story. So she prepared by acting somewhat still shocked as to what had happened, she wasn't as good as Vítězslav but she could still do a fine job at it.

It didn't expect the atmosphere to be so thick... or oxygen rich. It's robes were burning up rapidly, but it kept regenerating them. It was burning so bright that it outshone the parent star. It streaked across the sky but eventually slowed down a small amount, and descended into the lower atmosphere. Boom! The sound of the crash was immense. It hurled into the ground, at speeds faster than that of sound, causing a sonic boom when it crashed. There was a crater where it landed, which happened to be in the middle of an intersection. It immediately stood up and phased through the ground, appearing at the sidewalk only a moment later. It started going invisible, and then vanished. The only thing that could give away its position was its gravitational lensing.

He was a few feet away from the crash site, suddenly he was blown off from the immense force, like if you made a huge piston hit the whole front of the body. As he stood up, he saw fire, a wreckage then a robed man. He couldn't tell what it was but it just phased through the ground before appearing on the sidewalk and dissapearing. Sirens could be heard from afar but it sounds like it'll take 5 minutes for emergency services to arrive. Some people were there when the crash happened. Those that were lucky were only knocked out, some weren't. He asked himself what was it, a meteor? but where's the remains? a satellite falling? it would burn up on re-entry probably... these questions were then suddenly cut short when he saw some people still needing help. He went to a nearby store and borrowed it's fire extinguisher, and went outside to take out the fire.

Squiddly

Squiddly saw as the ball that was rolling down, finally morphed back into a humanoid shape, compared to her this thing was still tiny and she was fascinated by it, she watched as it felt her tentacle for a second, and then found the tiny crumb piece of muffin she took off, luckily no humans were around to disturb this or step on her tentacle, which she knew was an absolute pain.

So the thing took the crumb off, and she looked on with a friendly smile, but she cocked her head to the side when she realized it was only looking it over and discarded it "Geso...?" she could only muster with confusion, Squiddly simply thought that it may have already eaten then. The thing finally looked to where her tentacle was coming from and she got a good glance at it, it looked like some things that she saw some children play with from time to time, the stuff that could be stretched. Either all of that stuff was like this, or this was an anomaly but she didn't care. Squiddly also wondered how it could see without eyes, as they seemed see through, so much of it made her mind spin just thinking about it.

Squiddly proceeded to then pull back her tentacle back to it's spot again, making sure it was away from Splat, and not perceived to be threatening, seeing as the thing was now coming on all fours towards her, or she thought it was, as it was actually coming for the muffin, and then watched as the little thing actually jumped and grabbed for the paper wrapper instead of the actual muffin itself, observing as it ripped off little thin strips off it a couple times, wondering what it was doing she watched with fascination before its hands became full... And then her fascination turned into a gasp in awe as it stuffed it into it's body, she excitedly then gave a "Geso!" Finding what the thing did amusing as if watching a magic trick, she clapped her tiny hands together. Although she thought this may have been its way of eating, and it could eat something that she would never consider eating.

Squiddly then noticed it was now turning its attention to her, she showed absolutely no sign of any malice and was probably the friendliest thing bigger than it, that Splat would ever see. She then watched for a second as the thing ran off for a second, Squiddly observed this, curious to see what it was going to do, she saw as it grabbed something in the distance, she didn't realize it was the crumb that she planned initially to give to Splat. She watched as the thing slightly struggled to bring it over to her, as it placed it down, and backed away she took the cue as it must have been trying to return the favor to her.

So Squiddly extended two of her tentacles to grab it, and brought it to her nose to take a couple sniffs of it, making sure it was something she could eat or something of the nature, she realized it was part of the muffin, and brought the piece to her mouth to eat, obviously happy with it she smiled "Geso!" Squiddly said again in a happy manner.

To return the favor, after finishing chewing it, she turned her tentacles to the paper wrapper again, and began stripping off thin strips of the paper wrapper, stripping enough that Splat could hold it in his hands before absorbing more, after doing so she used her tentacles to offer the pieces to it.

But before any time could be allowed for Splat to grab for it, the massive sonic boom from an entity she knew nothing about as it crashed, created an extremely loud crash with the boom that caused the Earth to shake violently around them, almost instantly knocking Squiddly off her feet.

The mixture of the two absolutely mortified Squiddly as her face was riddled with absolute horror, as she very quickly began scrambling around yelping with terror in the air, "GESO! GESO! GESSSO!" She continued to hold onto the paper strips, but in the desperation of the situation hoping nothing would take the muffin which now collapsed as well, destroying part of its side, more of her tentacles came out to grab the muffin, as she desperately began scrambling around the place, probably looking crazy, running around screaming some more and beginning to cry a bit, all the while carrying the muffin and the paper strips as she had a lot of tentacles to multitask like that, as she went and hobbled over sitting down now. next to the wall hoping it would provide ample cover.

She began to quiver in fear as the area was darker wiping away tears with her normal arms, and she had no idea what was going on, so partly to see, and for Splat to find her, she began to glow with a warm, beautiful dazzle as she turned on her bioluminescence. And offered her tentacles with the paper strips still for Splat to take and to usher him over, with one other tentacle being used ushering like a hand to come over, and her calling out "Geso!, Geso."

The being looked at the man, trying to identify his thought process. Manifest stayed invisible as it walked behind the man. It suddenly grabbed the man's neck with the force of a bodybuilder. It then spoke. "щhät płåлęt įs тhīš¿" It spoke in some sort of warped, artificial sounding, deep booming voice. It's grip was cold, painfully cold. Manifest was prepared to, if necessary, put its blade under the man's neck.

It loosened it grip, but didn't completely let go. Its robes didn't seem to move in the wind. It was quite confused about the man's response. The man didn't seem as fearful as it expected.

The shockwave moved out from the crater, all throughout the city, shattering windows, tripping the innocent, and, apparently, scaring the living daylight out of a small squid-like humanoid.

Remmy Grimm

Once the police made it to the door Remmy ran out to greet them. Immediately being told to lay down. Playing the role of a frantic bar owner he began to whine and whimper as of he were a child. "I call you for help and you point guns at me? I want names and badge numbers." He shouted. Then a bright light pulse shoved most of the officers a bit. Knocking Remmy from his knees to his ass. Immediately the officers began checking their radios and such. Yet Remmy was slightly off after the pressure wave. It somehow felt...familiar.

Looking up he saw the debris cloud rising from the other side of the city. Something in him was tugging at the back of his mind but he didn't know what it could be. He was starting to be overwhelmed with strange sensations. The Smell of Oolong Tea, the sounds of trickling water, and a strange feeling of warmth that washed over him. Though it all seemed pleasant at first it made his heart ache, and his eyes water.

Next thing he knew he had jumped to his feet and began sprinting away from where the light.

"STOP." one of the officers shouted. And Remmy wanted to listen but there was too much going through his mind to make him stop. He could've sworn he heard gunfire behind him, and felt the sting of bullets. But it didn't slow him down and no he didn't stop, at least not right away. When he finally did he was standing on the docks looking out at the sea.

"Splat"

It watched as the squishy girl reacted to it's previous action, taking a second to process the new ideas. Eventually, it worked out that it was pleased with its offering, based on her facial expressions and body language, and the fact that it'd eaten the crumb. It wasn't sure what all the noises that were coming from it were about though - perhaps it was some kind of sonar or something? Maybe she was blind. It crab-walked from side-to-side for a moment, testing the idea. Nope, not blind - her eyes were definitely following it.

It was equally happy about the fact that the girl then started ripping off bits of paper from the same casing it had been collecting itself earlier. While she could have been collecting it for herself... it was reasonably sure it'd got it sussed out by now. If it gave her food, she'd give it material, and her much larger size meant she could do it much faster than it ever could. How very useful...

Before it could consider this further, though, a colossal bang, especially by its standards, rang out across the sky, shortly followed by the ground violently lurching backwards and forwards. Although it was definitely panicking, it hardly made a difference - the vibrations were more than strong enough to throw it into the air repeatedly, giving it limited control over what was going on. Eventually, though, it managed to stick itself to the ground, crawling with at least one limb pinned down at any moment to move around.

It didn't really know where to go, though, the shaking world making it very difficult to see. But then, quite literally, it saw the light. Something glowing off in the distance. It quickly scampered its way towards it, its loose limbs somewhat flailing around. As it got closer, it noticed one of scraps of paper on its path, suspended in mid-air. Its eyesight was still too impaired to make out what was holding it, but it wasn't one to pass up a good opportunity. It grabbed the paper, and stuck it to its back, to be properly stored later.

Now very close to the glowing object, it noticed something quite interesting. Whatever it was, it wasn't just bright - it was warm. Still feeling very much in danger, it instinctively flattened itself and squirmed its way underneath the object, intending to hunker down until said danger had passed.

They eventually made it to the room. The room wasn't large, nor small. It had a stained carpet and an old red couch. A single television was in the room, along with a single bathroom. It has two twin beds placed next to each other. Jen set the little child on one of the beds, and looked at her more carefully. But as she was looking, there was a sudden, loud boom. The windows shattered as the building shook. "What on earth is going on?!" Ari said, angrily. After a moment the shaking stopped. Jen didn't seem phased. She looked at the leg, then walked into her bathroom, possibly to get the bandages. Ari seemed very much perturbed though.

"That'll be 3.15, sir." The tired girl said with a heavy yawn. She rubbed her eyes and lightly slapped her face. She had to work over time and she already felt like going to sleep. It was probably from all the layers of clothing she was wearing covering most of her body. She was about to pass out when the windows shattered from some kind of sonic boom. The girl's instincts made her duck under the counter.

Mel opened her eyes, touching her head and body to make sure they were intact. The explosion of sound had stopped and the girl had decided to investigate. The man had left so closing the place was easy, explaining the windows to her boss will be harder. She put a scarf over her mouth and ran into the street, finding the crater left behind.

That action caused her to squint and let out a odd yipping sound. She was rubbing her mouth as the yip turned into a full hiss. She continued to stare, studying their actions carefully, squinting and hissing slightly in distrust.

Breathing a sigh of relief he began wondering what was going on again. He had a breakdown like that before, when he watched the Terminator movie and saw the bomb go off. Walking Down the seawall he lit a cigarette from his pocket and fished through his pockets pulling up 46$. "New outfit at least." He muttered heading towards a nearby homeless man on a bench. "Hey buddy I got 20$ for ya if you trade me clothes." He said to him. "Make it 40$" the man said rubbing his jacket. "Fine..." Remmy said handing him the 40$ and he and the man switched clothes. After he had changed he stuffed his .357 revolver into the inside pocket of the jacket. Pulling the hood up over his head, he continued walking towards downtown.

That's when Al took his opportunity, he leapt off of his perch and dive-bombed to cart at a few hundred miles per hour. His metal wings scraped the pavement as he Snatched the hotdog wieners from the cart and rising quickly to the adjacent rooftop leaving the Vendor with a dumbfounded look towards the sky. Al leaned back on the roof spreading his wings out on the gravel and looking up into the clouds at the passing airplanes. Occasionally he would scarf down a hotdog in a few bites. "Wonder what the weather's gonna be like today?" He mused oblivious to the world below him.

He fell down, gasping for air.... That man... No, THING, he was not of this earth, and he has no intention of being friendly to the natives. The boot tap he did summon an airplane which then drops a huge metal pod falling down on a roof. The crash means he has a perfect cover to suit himself up. He checks around and makes sure completely that the coast is clear, and he puts his hand on a scanner and the pod opens up....

( For cool suit up scene: )

Squiddly

Squiddly watched as Splat squirmed about trying to gain its footing in the chaos, she had considered being kinder and actually using a tentacle to bring it over, but she thought that would scare it even more. So she continued to watch, as she continued to shift as the world continued to shake violently hoping it would end.

She watched as it began to come to her, probably because of the light, Squiddly saw it jump up and take the paper strips like she had intended to give it, but it didn't appear to realize it was her so she simply retracted back those two hair tentacles quickly. She glanced at it with a friendly smile on her face as it proceeded to use her as cover, watching as it turned flat again in awe at the fact it could do that.

She simply sighed with relief and said a relieved extended "Gessso...~" after riding it out for a bit longer, the shakes stopped. So cautiously she blinked twice, and then stood up keeping her bioluminescencence on, trying to prepare for the possibility of another quake or sonic boom or whatever. She finally put down the muffin with the tentacles that were holding it although continuing to hold it, and now with her stomach reminding her of how hungry she was, she glanced around left and right seeing nothing in sight, she lifted up the muffin once again, and with one tentacle peeled off the rest of the paper wrap.

She glanced back down and saw Splat still there, and came up with an idea to make this fun and maybe let Splat enjoy something more, so she put down the muffin, and with a couple of tentacles brought them up to the edge of the light with the paper wrap above it's head and expertly began very quickly ripping up the paper wrap, without tangling her tentacles at all with total control, it suddenly appeared as if with the beautiful lighting illuminating them, it was snowing in the small area, with the small paper snow began to slowly fall over Splat, she smiled and giddily said "Geso!" Obviously proud of it's doing and hoping she made it happy or in awe of something like snow.

Meanwhile some of her tentacles proceeded to go back to the muffin, as the ones that held the paper went for that purpose, she began to finally reap her own reward and began to truly start eating small chunks of the chocolate chip muffin as she watched what she created methodically moving back and forth in the motions to constantly supply herself with more slowly making the muffin which was originally around her size smaller and smaller, Squiddly enjoyed the sweet goodness of the chocolate chip muffin more than she usually did, something noteworthy to her.

Vítězslav glanced as she saw the Parasite come back down as the cops left, all of this assured him that it was not human, or something had possessed her in some way, like how you would expect a poltergeist on a human. He frowned as he took note of her body language and her mannerisms and deduced it didn't trust them. Her tongue seemed to slither out like a snakes would, and she began to then making an animal like yipping sound.

He didn't make much of it though, as although it appeared that it didn't trust the two and it now began hissing at them now.

Namgung simply sighed in annoyance at this, it didn't appear like Remmy would return for a while. "We should honestly, get prepared to get going, since it doesn't appear like he is going to return for a good while. We do have a couple things we still need to go dooo... What the fuck? Eh, Zbyšek, I think the ghost of christmas future just decided to take you to see your tombstone..." Obviously referring to his alias since the two swore themselves to this type of secrecy, since they didn't want their actual names recorded as criminals if they were to ever get caught. Also making the snide sarcastic remark at the end.

Vítězslav turned on his enhanced perception again, and began to turn around, right actually as he felt the taps on his shoulder, and Namgung was not lying, Manifest was like a ghost type thing, or slightly transparent being, as things were in slow motion he had the time to catch that the robes of Manifest slightly part at the ground as it appeared non-physical, obviously proving this fact, although an interesting contradiction to this fact was that he obviously felt the taps on his shoulder. He would need to be assured of this later.

Due to the fact that it was not a human body, Vítězslav could not read anything about it based on its appearance, but what Vítězslav could tell and you didn't need to be a braniac to figure this out, was that this thing was absolutely EVIL, that was for certain.

Vítězslav simply kept a smile on his face, no poker blank faces here, his golden eyes twinkled intriguingly, his charisma showed off full force again encompassing the room, and Vítězslav wasn't revealing much with his body language except that he was most definetly not afraid of whatever this was, and was intrigued by its presence. But Vítězslav wasn't necessarily hiding his true nature much, so Vítězslav gave off the vibes of malice, intelligent, cold, ruthless persona. This was a side not many people saw, in public.

"Why hello there, what brings you here to me per say?"
