Fantasy Guild of Heroes: Revival

Artoria Pendragon
Location: Fort Black's Bar

Artoria was in the courtyard, practicing with a training dummy. She didn't use her sword, though. She was repeatedly beating it violently with her fists and feet, so intensely that, at her final kick, the dummy's head flew off. She stretched a bit and wiped the sweat off her forehead. She headed to her bunk, opening the door and leaving her armor there, although keeping her sword attached to her hip. She put on a white shirt and a skirt, heading to Fort Black's Bar. She entered and saw Lulu. "Hey!" She exclaimed, briefly waving her hand in the air, then approaching him and sitting with him at the counter. She looked at Deon. "Give me a Fenrisian Ale, please." She asked politely, taking out her pouch, ready to pay for the drink. "What have you been up to, Lulu?" She asked curiously, looking at her little brother with a calm and relaxing smile on her face. Her blond, long hair was loose onto her shoulders.

The young demon nodded at Agamemnon, exhaling deeply as he finished off the last bits from the loaf of bread. He headed out, climbing up the castle's main tower and sitting down at the top. He smiled briefly, looking at the world around him. It looked very creepy, like a place Dracula would own. He chuckled, "Wow, this place looks worse than my home down there." He spoke to himself, crossing his legs and resting his elbows on his knees, placing his head upon his hands as he took another deep breath. He muttered something to himself again, leaping off the tower and landing softly in the courtyard. He took out his bow and began practicing, shooting arrows in groups of ten at every training dummy.

He turned around and pulled down a large glass bottle from the shelf. Taking out a second glass, he poured out the infamous ale, letting the aroma permeate the air. Stopping at the brim, he pushed it forward toward the knight while taking his pay.

Watching the stranger finally leave, Vetr visibly relaxed. "Alright, let's get a move on. We've got creatures to kill, and an Elemental to help." The Frost said waiving the two to follow. Silence reigned over the trio for the next couple of miles as the moon climbed higher into the dark and jeweled sky. By the time it reached it's Apex, Vetr finally spoke up.

"Alright, we'll set up camp here for tonight." he said, setting his pack down. Turning towards the drider, he pointed out into the forest. "You and I will collect firewood." He said, before marching off in the direction he pointed out, collecting fallen dried branches as he went.

Nymkos shrugged, and placing his bag on the floor, started walking with Vetr, collecting branches and sticks along the way. "Wait a second", he said the quickly woven a net, and tying it together, made a decent bag. With two straps, he placed the few sticks that was on his hand on the newly made bag. "It'll be much more efficient with this. Put your wood here too." He motioned to the bag.
Nymkos learned the endless uses of his web while living on the forest. Bags, traps, storage, it was like learning to live again. A much lonelier and dngerous life.

"So, what was that man's problem?" Nymkos said, with a scowl. "Was he itching for a glory kill?"

After Vena left Évelyne she began making several preparation for heading east. She was unsure exactly how far the city was but it would require her to take at least a couple days away from Dark Helios. The other shadow guard member will be there to help lead. However Viral would come with her. As always.
"Sir we are all ready. I brought and supplies we would need." Viral stood in front of Vena with a rather large bag of random stuff that have of it was probably not want Vena wanted. Either way, it didn't particularly matter. " Very well, You may leave that stuff here it is pretty safe. Lets finish one last thing before we go." Vena said. Viral nodded and disappeared from sight. Vena walked into Fort Black admiring the piece of art that she actually enjoyed before entering a room that is know all too well as Mephisto's office. "There are only fragments of the history of Kyro. However the records state that he was part of the guild at some point. Meaning he stood right here" She look at the room which had a desk in front of the glass in the very back of the room, Opposite to the door. Behind the glass was a court where there was a decent sized space with 2 trees and some grass. It looked rather nice, considering how old the place was, I imagine someone fixed it up. "Well I suppose theirs no point in the past. Viral...." She said knowing that Alesha(Viral) could hear her. "Wait outside. I have no reason for you to be here with me. Vena the waited for a second before pulling out the seal of membership. She touched the seal and it glowed.
"Mephisto, I believe this is how I communicate with this. You said if we need your assistance to inform you. Well I have something to inform you of......."
"I believe we could both benefit from what I have to say."

Just the usual, you know... dangerous experiments, stuff like that. How bout'cha?" The boy asked and took another long sip. He seemed to be somewhat dehydrated from his endeavors, as he took out a mana potion and spiked his drink with a few drops of it. Lulu drank so many mana potions today he could not bear their bitter taste anymore, so he thought it'd be a good idea to mask it with something like a drink. After he finished the long sip, he put the quarter-full glass on the counter, then exclaimed: "Much better."

The skies were blurry but bright. Compare that to the grounds, covered in dark bricks and with walls that had metallic frames with spikes. It was not only intimidating but also unpleasant to the eyes. The smell of rot and pestilence lightly lingered in the air, seemingly ever present. The dark, fifteen-meter wall towered above the castle grounds, filling a large part of them with umbra. The eerie atmosphere definitely could not be called proper living conditions for your average person, then again, Agamemnon was trying to make this place as filthy and displeasing as it is possible, same goes for the grounds around the castle. All of it was a form of anti-morale defense against potential invaders.

The Necromancer stood on a balcony, watching his servant perform archery. "Shames be upon the seven hells," he mumbled, as he cast his fist onto the balcony, smashing it in anger, but it did not break and it did not even crack. "For they betrayed me... A mere pariah... I wanted to summon a knight of hell." he finished, turning around with his arms folded. He sighed, staring down at the ground, moving his hand to intercept his face and lying it on his mask. After a short shake of his head, he heard the sounds of large doors being open from the room that the balcony peaked from. An Archpriest walked in, approaching towards Agamemnon. He was still a young man, no older than mid-20's. He wore black robes and a hood.

"Oh, my omnipot--" "Skip the pleasantries and get to the point," Agamemnon cut in.
"Y-Yes, m'lord." The Archpriest's eyes opened up a little more in surprise. "So, master, is it true you can speak to the venerable one?"
"Do you doubt my prophetic powers?" Agamemnon asked, returning to his usual, straight stance. His voice seemed partly amazed. "No. It's just that--" Agamemnon cut in again: "Then why even ask?" Agamemnon seemed to be rather strong and dominant in the conversation, constantly leading it in another direction than the one regarding the Lich. It was a natural process: Men prayed, so men thought of their deity. And as they thought, there was one out of a ten, twenty, or more thoughts, depending on person. One such thought was heretical in nature but was usually disbanded by the faithful. But then, at some point, they reached critical mass. These thoughts became constant and the faith had to be reinforced through... different means. And by no means should they have been violent. What use do corpses have other than a low-wage serving force with no brain? Even a cult like this needed clergymen that had brains bigger than the size of walnuts.

"You are a young man, still, Crayd, therefore I forgive your impudence. The master demands you spend today's night in prayer and he will forgive you," Agamemnon snarked towards the Archpriest after a moment of silence from both of them. "And remember, a moment of laxity may condemn you to a fate worse than death. Besides, you are an archpriest, it is not in your nature to deny what is true. Repent for the heresy and you will be pardoned. But may I ask why did you question it all?" The Archpriest responded: "It was because I wanted to ask, did he order you to summon the demon to provide us with aid?"

Agamemnon seemed to feel assaulted, aggravated by the question. "He did, for reasons I will not reveal. You are in no place to question divine will." "I see, then it is true. You leave me no choice."

Agamemnon took a step back, taking the balcony's marble barrier as a support. Then suddenly, the Archpriest called Crayd pulled out a silver, enchanted knight that glowed with divine energy. He headed in for the space between the second and third rib. Agamemnon moved his hand, as if to intercept the dagger, but stopped mid-way and a shield of blue magic appeared. The dagger hit it, causing a 'KRAK' sound, caused by the mix of magical energy and the dagger's physicality. Three more assassins dropped down from the ceiling above the balcony, two of them with dual daggers and the one in the middle with a shortsword. They were clad in black, leathery armor including black, metallic helmets with a T-shaped opening for the eyes. The four conspirators were clearly agents of another, rival religion.

Agamemnon knew that the path to survival didn't lie in fighting head on, so instead - he did the contrary. Agamemnon pushed himself backward with his hands, jumping down the balcony as his cape flew through the air with him. He yelled to Angra Mainyu as he performed this maneuver: "SERVANT, CATCH ME!"

Shortly after, three of the assassins dropped down from the balcony. The traitor Archpriest on the other hand, who didn't have the physical condition to accomplish such deeds, simply levitated down slowly and calmly. Soon after, four more assassins joined them, clad in similar, but heavier armaments than their comrades, as they walked out from the gates of the castle. Everyone else was inside, busy praying and providing the Void Ritual with mana at this time of day. Crayd spoke with a happy voice. "Finally, after almost ten years of this empty, shallow servitude. We can hope to do something greater than anyone. We will take that ritual of yours and circulate the output of it, so instead of opening a portal for your deity, it will open a portal for all the demons of the underworld. Rejoice!"

Agamemnon snarked. "Maniac." "Me, a maniac? Are you not the one trying to end the world as well? I thought you would relate." "I'm not ending the world because of faith, you jackass. I do it because I'm selfish and I want to live forever." "Tch, a man of faith... with no faith. Destroy him, he's an affront not just to us, but any believer of any of the religions."

The assassins rushed forward, whilst Agamemnon moved back and ordered his servant: "Destroy them."

"Hang on, I've got to take this." The demon made a 360-degree turn with one, decisive heel-turn and pulled out his Seal of Membership. He put it up to his ear, then replied to the person talking to him on the other side. "What's up?" And heard the voice on the other side speak. "Nonsense. How can words benefit anyone? They gather no meaning at all! Just kidding, though. Have you ever read Boe Salomun's book about Wyverns and Dragons? The way he captured them had so much grandiose composition to it that I couldn't bear the thought of lying that damned book down. I just read chapter after chapter. A delightfully artful piece of work, if I do say so myself," his voice had no enmity, it was simple passion towards something that he loved. It even seemed charmed with the description it provided. Mephisto looked down on his suit, cleaning some pink dust off of his cravat. "What were we talking about? Oh, right. Words that have benefits. Go on, little girl." Mephisto did not question the identity of the caller. Instead, he spoke openly, as if they were old friends.

Vena frowned and seemed at bit agitated. "In fact I have read Wyverns and Dragons. Regardless, I don't mean to take you away from whatever your doing but this is far more important. I don't intend to tell you across a magic network that I don't know anything about. I am waiting in you office, but I don't have all day to wait.. Vena 'hung up'. And tried to disregard the little girl comment as best she could. This was the demon? Ironically it didn't surprise her. To many tales have been told of Mephisto to NOT know he was a little crazy. Either way, we shall see if he is willing to listen. For it is in both their interests.

The demon shoved the Seal of Membership into his pocket, then jumped, turning into pink gas with glitter. Soon after, the same gas appeared in the office, in the seat of the Guildmaster. Mephisto put his legs on the desk, and his arms behind his head, getting very comfortable. "So, what's up?" He asked, looking straight at her with a calm, serene smile. Mephisto's eyes were tired but kind, yet at the same time unnaturally permeating. "Can I offer you tea, or anything like that, darling? Not that I can afford it, of course. Just doing small talk in a way you people consider 'cultured,' right?" Mephisto rolled his eyes around, then moved his hand to show that his attention is with Vena. "Either way, carry on. As of now that is not the important part regarding our conversation. First, allow me to introduce myself." Vena crossed one foot over the other and bowed to the demon. "I am Venge F. Rigidum, Leader of Dark Helios." Vena assume that Mephisto had at least hear of them. At this point Dark Helios was so far spread that even if he didn't know he ran into them, he probably has at some point. "I have come here to make a deal with you. That I would provide my elite forces where you require and in return you and your 'heroes' would provide an insurance should the day come. Mephisto's hands made a clapping sound. He moved them towards Venge and shook them in place, with his eyes closed - as if trying to remember something. Finally, his hands stopped and his left hand snapped its fingers pointing towards Venge afterward. "Right! I remember! I got a report regarding you guys like... what was it? Year... 1185? No, no, definitely a bit later. My spies are the best, you see. Trained by meself. Not even I know all of their identities!" Mephisto jumped upwards suddenly, standing on his chair with one leg. He took on a weird pose, something that you'd expect from a meditating monk that's meditating on a single pole, keeping balance with one leg. His hands reached for one of the shelves and he took a dusty paper off of one of them, then sat back like he did previously and started reading it aloud.

"The Dark Helios is... yadda, yadda... Kyro... creator... something, something; shadow god, something, something; fight to advance in ranks... Oh! Here's the good part: Freelance... Nah, nevermind. This whole thing is pretty pointless. It's pretty much the same story as it always was: Just a bunch of kids running around in stealthy suits and killing people because they get to fulfill their monthly murder boner, or selfish desires, or weird vengeance tick, or anything like that." Mephisto made the report into a paper-plane and threw it out the window carelessly. Mid-flight, it was caught by a large, magical bird and devoured. Mephisto put his legs on the desk and closed his eyes, relaxing, then exclaimed: "I can't understand why you'd stick with them, though. You're not even 18 and I could beat you up with my eyes closed, especially if you gave me prep time," Mephisto giggled arrogantly. "You're wasting talent. If I was you, I'd join that fancy-pants cult that good ol' Tury's got running. They're reviving him as we speak, and once he's up from his epic power-nap, the whole planet will say goodbye to rainbows and sunshine. Not even the gods can beat that guy, sweetheart. I was back to the Netherworld for a vacation like a hundred years ago, and our oh-so-powerful-and-great unholy emperor actually put up a wall to shield himself from that damned abomination. Of course, the vacation lasted ten minutes because they started shooting fireballs at me - 'cause I'm a traitor and stuff." Mephisto sighed, so much for visiting his homeland for a nice holiday and a swim in the best lava pools. There were still some tropical islands out there, but none of said islands were as warm and cozy as the lava of the underworld.

"Either way, no. I'm not gonna be wastin' good ol' Willy's hopes and dreams just to power your ego, in exchange for some shadow-worshipping sociopaths as soldiers. Heroes are heroes, not troops. We help those that are too weak to help themselves out of altruism, not out of lust for money, power, knowledge, or any of those other pathetic megalomaniacal goals that villains have nowadays. Why can't any of them just do it for 'the evulz' anymore? Fighting those guys was ten times funnier, because at the end of the day we all gathered and smoked cigars and drank whiskey together, then sang camp songs over a huge bonfire like we were friends. All only to wake up from bed the other day and start the whole cycle all over again. Until they died from old age, that is. I don't age. I'm immortal." Mephisto chuckled. You could tell just from these two paragraphs of text that the demon was very talkative.

Vena had just about snapped. But letting lose her emotions was never something she did. Because of this she successfully didn't change her face at all as long as the man talked. She even did the justice of letting him talk through the entire paragraph."Ehh, Your more disgusting than my own people. However I do agree with you on one thing. You don't understand me at all. You haven't even spoke to me for more than a day. Let alone assuming that I'm a shadow worshiping psychopath. Let alone my intentions! You defile this place to even stand in this room. The once great Mephisto, of purity. That would help, or at least fully hear out anyone that came to him. My men were a offering of 'Thank you' to the request that I was asking. I suppose your greedy kind would rather me offer them money instead? So you can pay or men a good salary. For a moment you could see the loss of color in her crystal. As if it was losing control. By this time Vena was showing plenty of emotion. And to even speak of a force that could destroy the word we live in like its a game. More than one person's lives are here, megalomaniac or not. Is it not better to work together! Try to understand my people and their culture before assume what we fight for!" Vena sighed and let her anger leave her. "Ironic, When you come to others for help and ask them to leave their lives for slim pay in honor of your dream it's ok. And don't try to tell me it's because you want to stop the coming doom, if that was the only reason you wouldn't have recreated the entire guild, but instead just asked for their help. But when I ask for help, to keep what I have earned, regardless of the means, and even offer to help for it, its totally wrong. I should go join them? No, their still waiting on you, I'm sure they have the bonfire and cigars all ready for you. Vena's crystal slowly lit up again and her emotions faded. But she just stood there looking at Mephisto with the same face.

The demon quietly sat through Vena's rant, with a slight smile all across it. "Yare yara You've gotten a little mad. I believe you got me wrong. You definitely aren't a shadow-worshipping psychopath. All I said was that your soldiers are shadow-worshipping sociopaths. But still, my point stands. I don't accept soldiers as a bargaining chip, or fool them into working for me. I only accept people who want to help out of the kindness in their heart. Heroes are not soldiers. Heroes are people that help others without wanting anything in exchange. You wanted to help me but expected something in exchange. In that sense, you are no hero. Neither am I. I'm just a lackey." Mephisto took off his hat and put it down on the desk.

"The reason I seem so cold is because I am a thousand-something years old. When you see death, destruction, and all kinds of evil for over a thousand years, you turn into a nihilistic sociopath that just can't afford to care. I guess that's quite the right term, as our budget right now is really short. In that sense, I am not a hero. Either way, what I want to do right now is stop the end of the world, lady. Even I can't do it alone because the enemy is far too powerful. I don't intend to sit and cry about the death that may, or may not happen. I intend to not give it a chance of taking place." Mephisto got up from his chair, walking around the desk and walking up to Vena. "Whether or not you join me is up to you. All I'm saying is that you shouldn't expect a reward, or it being easy, or nice, or even being treated like a hero afterward. That's what this job is about. It is the most treacherous, unrewarding, pitiful line of work that ever existed. And that's why I love it. This is what I live for!" Mephisto reached his hands out to Vena, then returned to his normal pose, performing a 90-degree heel-turn towards the door.

"Do as you wish, but do it yourself. I don't want your Dark Helios people to fight for me unless it is out of their own will." Mephisto's head turned towards the door, and he started taking steps in its direction to leave the office.

After a couple moments VIral walked though the door. " I told you I didn't need you. I know you were listening. Viral took a seat. "You know I wouldn't have left you completely sir." Viral paused thinking about whether to say something. "What are you going to do? If Miseral finds out about the cult then he will certainly try to over throw you and as of now you simply can't win. And If he becomes leader then Dark Helios will belong completely to some other Dark force." Vena turned around toward the door and signaled for Viral to stand. " 2 things, One I don't want help from someone who won't even expand their horizon far enough to at least begin to understand my culture. And 2 there is no reason you should believe that I can't beat Miseral. Plus this proved certain peoples mentalities to me . As of right now, even if I am killed and Meseral tries to join that coming doom cult or whatever, they will probably reject him. If their anything like Mephisto. Let us leave now. Mephisto was in the courtyard, lying down on a tree branch, with a guitar in his hands. He was surrounded by forest fairies that giggled at him. Then, the demon said: "Alright, ladies. And 3... 2... and a 1, 2, 3!" Mephisto started playing the guitar, while the fairies sang like a choir. The music was fairly good, but it was clearly prototypical and needed some work. After the song was over Mephisto relaxed and took the Seal of Membership in his hand, speaking to all Guild Members. "Anyone who's not busy right now, please report to the Courtyard. While he waited, Mephisto calmly strummed his guitar as the fairies watched and listened to his work. Soon after he picked up the pace and started to perform.

During her training, she went through 12 mana potions and have finally finished her new spell, Mana Bullet. In any case, her bullet was ready and she was confident that she could use it with little to no concentration.

It was at that point in which she heard another gun shot. Flintlock Pistol, She instantly looked in the direction of it and with her rifle, walked toward the entrance. Outside she saw a carriage, and a man. "Barron Kharzenti? What brings you here to Fort Black. There's no money to take here." She said with both surprise and a tease. Évelyne was familiar with the man, viewed by the nobles in Fairfax as a threat to their wealth and power. Aleksander Kharzenti
Aleksi regarded Evelyne for some time, quite unsure who in the devil's name she was. Eventually he vaguely recognized her as some aristocrat's kid, or maybe just a young aristocrat by her own right. The robber barron's lips twitched in a circle and his beard followed suit. He preferred to ignore her ill timed joke about there being no money in Fort Black. His journey had been tiresome and it was distracting him from business, so Aleksi was not in the greatest of moods. "I would much prefer if you did not call me by the name Baron. I am not a Baron of any type, I hold no such official position, Mr. Kharzenti will do fine. As for why I am here, I am answering a summons that was given to me through a blue amulet in my possession. I imagine others received this call as well based on the content of the message, might I assume you have also arrived here on a summons, Miss...?"

Before she could respond, a man in nonsensical attire appeared from the air before them. The peculiar gent approached Kharzenti at an uncomfortable pace and also got uncomfortably close. Aleksander took a half step back in response, a look of near disgust on his face. Before he could respond to the uncouth man, the fruitcake disappeared just as readily as he had come to being in the first place. Aleksander probably looked quite confused and disgruntled in response.

Upon hearing his master's order, Angra immediately rushed to his location and saw the eight foes. He leaped into the air and caught Agamemnon, bringing him down to safety and putting him down. Afterwards, he smirked, taking out his bow and seven arrows. One of them was too heavily armored for a normal arrow to work. He pulled back the bow's string, jumping backward, releasing the arrows right at the lesser foes. "Hmph!" He let out a muffled noise, landing on his feet. He then took out from his quiver a magical arrow. It was...glowing. He loads it in his bow and pulls back its string, pointing it at the Archpriest's center of mass. "FEEL THE POWER OF THE RUBRIC OF AHRIMAN!" He screamed, the arrow catching on blue flames. He released it as the flaming, magic arrow flew at unmeasurable speed towards the Archpriest.

Suddenly, an ominous, powerful stomp could be heard in the distance. As the sun was gone behind the treetops, the forest was enshrouded in an enigmatic umbra. From between several trees stepped out a mighty beast, taller than three meters. It was disgusting, its skin covered in a mixture of rock and dirt Its texture was swampy and full of pestilence. It was an ogre, bearing primitive leathery armor and a large wooden mace. After it were two more with similar armaments. The gang of ogres slowly approached, then one of them threw itself towards Vetr, swinging the mace at him. It flew from the sky, brought towards the ground with great force. There were no chances of blocking an attack like this unless one had superhuman strength.

Instinct took hold of Vetr as the savage Ogre swung it's crude cudgel at him. There would be no blocking it. Well At least in the typical way. Instead, Vetr swung his right arm on an intercepting course for the ogre's. Blue Ice formed, condensed and spread over the Frost's appendage, creating a dense blade that covered the entirety of his forearm and extended well over two feet past his fist. The lead Ogre howled in agony as the frozen blade cut through flesh, tendons, sinew and bone with ease, relieving the savage of his weapon and hand.
Taking advantage of the situation, Vetr cleaved into the leader, spilling frozen innards and parting blackening frozen flesh, roaring with rage. Charging past the now finished leader, he dropped into a slide, gliding across the ground past one of its cronies, before cleaving the Icy weapon through it's left leg, taking it off at the knee. Two down, and one left. "Go! Tell the Others what happened here! This Is my Territory Now..." The enraged Frost barked out in giant, lopping his one legged friend's head off for emphasis.

Nymkos watched as Vetr did his job, killing both ogres with ease. As soon as the third started running, Nymkos sprung into action, drawing his spider silk bow and striking an arrow on the monster's leg. As it toppled down, Nymkos leaped to it, drawing a dagger to the monster's throat. "Let the nature guide your soul into the afterlife", the drider said in Drow, and slashed the ogre's throat. He took a deep breath, and climbed down from the corpse. "I tend not to leave witnesses, if you don't mind. Last time I tried to show compassion, I had to hide for a full week, the one who ran away came back with 10 more, looking for my head." Nymkos took the arrow from the monster's leg and put it into his quiver. "Shall we return? The girl is probably worried by now." He heard a familiar voice coming from his shirt. Grabbing his Seal, he listened to the message. "Huh, well, that doesn't concern us. Let's go."

Agamemnon

Several of the cultists laid down dead, but the others dodged the shots and ran back towards Angra. Agamemnon shot a bolt of magic at one of them, making it only two attackers left, and the Archpriest. Speaking of whom, the Archpriest created a magical dome around himself, that absorbed the arrow and its energy, then faded away. The Archpriest knelt over onto the ground, in lack of strength after stopping the arrow.

Agamemnon rose an eyebrow and simply waited for his servant to finish it off.

Angra Mainyu
Ahriman smirked, seeing the cultists fall limp on the ground. He chuckled and looked at the powerless archpriest on the ground. He took out two arrows and released them towards the two cultists. They flew towards their heads, but Angra did not know if they would hit or not, seeing how they managed to dodge his arrows before. Quickly after, dead cultists or not, he takes out a small dagger and throws it at the archpriest's head. It flew at incredible speed towards him...so fast that dodging it would be a feat of peak human agility. Just to be sure, he takes out another two arrows and shoots them at the heads of the dead cultists. Soon after, Ahriman humbly turns toward his master. "Did I do good, master?" He asks, bowing his head slightly as his body lowers in a deep bow.

"What the hell is taking them so long," Nirvana muttered, getting up to walk out in thebaay they went. As she got closer to where they were, she started to smell a foul oder. That wasn't uncommon, with all the murders and the leaving bodies behind. And animals. Yet it was rather un-that was a yell. And those are ogres. "This is is exciting..." The woman muttered. Vetr Nodded and turned to leave, destroying the ice extension of himself when he spotted their other elven companion. "Well, At least we know she's okay..." he said to Nymkos collecting a few more branches that weren't covered in Ogre blood. "Just glad it was Ogres and not Rock Giants." He added leading them back to the spot they had selected to camp, and away from the stench.

After a short hike back, the trio set a up camp, and a small fire burned. Vetr sat in silence for a while, before he finally spoke up. "Are either of you familiar with the tale of Jarl Olaf Gunjarson?" He asked somewhat out of the blue. He had already knew the answer, but still he asked, Invinting them to confirm his suspisions.
