Other What's your most hated fan ship?

We hear a lot about ships people like, but I'm curious on which you hate? What ships in your fandom does everyone seem to like that you just can't stand?


This could be for lots of reasons. Maybe it's to popular, maybe it makes so little sense you don't understand what others see in it? Whatever your reason tell me about it and why you hate it.


Want to point out that this thread needs to be a safe thread. No attacking people becasue they don't support you fave ship nor should people attack those who like the ship. That's not the point here okay? Ok...


I'll give my number one most hated ship, but will not go into detail unless enough of you wanna read that several page rant. If so I'll type it up but I will take a while. 


Anyway it's Sesshomaru and Kagome from Inuyasha. Yes it's popular, don't attack me.

im not a big fan of touka and kaneki in a romantic ship either.


i dont have as much of a reason than i never particularly liked touka compared to other characters.

I completely agree about Sesshomaru/Kagome (and I would actually really enjoy reading that rant, N7Sniper, if you ever decide to write it out and post it on here), and Touka/Kaneki (it just doesn't work, no), and the incest thing (unless it's Hetalia, but that doesn't count because it's not actually incest because they're countries, so aren't human and aren't actually related by blood or anything... though Hetalia ships can get weird with the whole historical aspect anyway... yeah okay things just get weird... kinda makes my head hurt... moving on...).


Also, Spideypool. This one is really popular and I just don't understand why everyone thinks it would work. For many reasons, but probably the main one being that Peter and Wade's moral compasses do not align at all, in a way that would make any lasting relationship between them impossible. I think people like them together because they seem similar, but they're similar in all the ways that would make it not work between them, because they'd just clash and it would be chaos and just. It doesn't work.

I really don't like any of the gay ships in Overwatch. Not because I'm homophobic, most of them just seem so terribly forced (Reaper x Soldier76), shoved in my face constantly (Pharah x Mercy) or just plain old wtf (Junkrat x Roadhog). It's just plain pandering, and my rage degree goes up whenever someome gets bashed for not shipping this unholy trinity.

My most rage inducing ship is Grey and Juvia. She's a stalker who is so obsessed with him that the only way I can ever see him falling for her is Stockholm, which is bad to promote. Anime: If you stalk your crush home and steal their underwear and shit they will totally fall in love with you! Yet everyone seems to think their so cute together because their powers happen to mesh well.

all i can think of is if i were in these celebrities/youtubers/etc position, how weirded out and uncomfortable i'd be. 


other than that, popular ships tend to annoy me, since i see them over and over again


unless i happen to really like the ship already, i just kind of get sick of it, yeah?


like im watching yuri on ice and i enjoy it, i really hope they're not just queerbaiting with viktor and yuri, but all the over hype and sheer amount of ppl/posts i see discussing it on other websites is a bit much.

All ships. Although what I think ruins it for me is that every year without fail whenever I coach overnight camps the kids always ship the coaches together in some way and this year they gave me a particularly disturbing ship.
