It is real! Nomura was inspired to put it into KH after trying some at the Tokyo Disney Resort and loving it, though the sea-salt ice cream there is served in cups instead of popsicles. There are recipes online to make sea-salt ice cream, both in traditional ice cream form and popsicle form.

I don't see Dark Pit tolerating Pokey at all. If I played him and he encounters Pokey, he'd either attack him on sight or otherwise try to chase him off, or call Sora an idiot and leave if the kid decides to defend Pokey and keep him with the group. Dark Pit wouldn't fear Pokey, but he ain't putting up with BS either!

A quirk Japanese Pit and Dark Pit share is that they use metaphors a lot in their speech. I can see Roxas sometimes having to pause and figure out just what Pittoo is saying. Either that, or he plays translator for the slower characters.
