Ooo, I like!I am thinking of using a favored chatscter of mine
She has been at camp for awhile bring 17. Thing is she is a short weak little albino with none of the physical gifts others get. The main trade off is she is a top teir Smith able to weave magic easily into her creations to make marvels.
yeah laura is the little ball of spite and insecurity, but is harmless in a fight
The girl I’m planning on using is 16. I have a feeling she would know because her mom was a demigod loll, but she’d laugh it off and probably just run in randomly during the meeting just be like: “AH FRICK I MISSED IT”.While I'm here, I wanted to ask what everyone's preference is on ages! Most PJO roleplays start around the age 12, but I was wondering if you guys wanted to play late bloomers! Maybe 16 range?
After all, I doubt all the half-bloods are caught at the age of 12. Additionally, in this setting, there aren't as /many/ monsters roaming the world (for now, I'll throw a lore thread up soon with the main story!)
Ideally, the character wouldn't know they were a half-blood and would be forced to live with this reality after following the advice of some random on reddit. Though, I'm fine with some characters being aware of this depending on their situation. Just let me know what your thoughts are!

Heh. Dead guy. probably gonna make him perpetually 16. Thankfully only died like twenty years ago so he can keep up with the tech and saw the reeddit post and thought, 'why not? Might be fun to see who it is.' I think he'll be a son of maybe someone strange like Zeus, though how he's in Valhalla, I don't know. Unless that's too much and then he's a son of Loki.
Wait…we’re allowed to do Norse/Roman demigods here too?

Ahh not to be rude at all, as much as that would be adorable, I don't think it's feasible? Everyone met up via Reddit and ideally characters are around 16-ish and even if it is chill and comedic, there will be moments where that isn't the case. I just don't think a child would be a feasible ideaah well. Why not throw in the perpetually confused son of Zeus at age 8? He's been hunted because of his lineage, and because he's so young he can be ignorant about a lot of things! I'm just imagining him spinning a stick around and zapping monsters to dust.
Now that, that I can do! That 100% works in my bookI feel like I'm being inconvenient. Allow me to play my final card. (please work) How about a 16 year old son of Demeter who wields a sickle in combat and also likes growing malicious crops from seeds he throws at his enemies? May or may not have Ares wayy back in his bloodline.
Ooo, that would be dope! Maybe they saw the Reddit post and thought something along the line of "Dammit, I gotta go make sure whoever shows up doesn't get themselves killed"i mean i am thinking mine is a permanent resident at camp half blood till all this
somethign like that she likely got told by the oracle to do it as she is a shut in because again she has like no powers the 11 years olds coudl beat her easyOoo, that would be dope! That sounds perfectly acceptable to me, I actually really like that description!I like the idea of late bloomers!
I’m thinking of having an 18 years old teen as the son of Hades.
He would be able to see and hear spirits. He takes medication because no one believes him when he first spotted them at the age of twelve. Now 18, he’s used to hearing random bits and pieces of muddled voices. Noticing that they are saying something familiar to each other, but ignores it. That is, until he saw the Reddit post…and heard a spirit whispering Harpy, like the Reddit post suggested.
Is that okay??
Awesome! I’ll flesh him out more then! That sounds perfectly acceptable to me, I actually really like that description!
He carries the Earth, right? Super strength. Control of the earth. Fire bringer. Light bringer. Super smart (since he helped people be smarter with the fire). Transportation…because we used to have a book called an Atlas. XD ummmmm…..Anyone have any ideas for a child of Atlas, powers-wise?
