So... is a second Wall of Wind worth casting or can they run past that in one action like the first?

The bots have not run around the wall, and it is still blocking access to the power reactor. If you put up another Wind Wall, it can block the approach on the other path that the bots have taken to get to there.

No. It is just the two. Don't forget that there is also a Carpet of Adhesion on the path that some of the robots have gotten stuck in.

I hadn't. (I think they can't change position, but they're still able to light us up.)

Is there anything else about this place that we players should know on a tactical level (that our characters would know about, like there being two ways in instead of one)? Any doors, other places, that bad guys could emerge from? Stuff like that?

Alright, folks - tactic talk. My instinct is to go for the ones on the carpet, while Dann immobilize the other group. Thoughts?

Sherwood Sherwood The carpet only covers the floor, right?

Correct. But if you run or step onto the ground where the Carpet of Adhesion is, you'll get stuck, too.

Well, I'd rely on Eron's jumping skills, mostly. My worry is that the other group might become more dangerous if they move up further, but I could also try to go for them instead. Just want both groups to be busy with Snowfall and Eron, and not the others.

Alrighty, Sherwood Sherwood How close together are the skelebots that were caught in the carpet? Would it be possible to jump onto one and strike at another?

Yes, I'll say you can do that, but you'll only be able to use one weapon instead of the double strike you have in the past.

That seems reasonable - alrighty, let me get to it real quick, gotta make sure they are distracted...

Sherwood Sherwood So... let me make certain I understand the current situation correctly. Our goal is to hold this area for, what was it, 1-2 minutes? How long until Terra and her Infiltrator have set the demolitions?

Also, is it possible to set up another Wall of Wind either in Wall form or in "Wind Tunnel" configuration to hamper/stop the advancing Skelebots? If cast, which groups could Snowfall affect with it?

EDIT: I'm trying to figure out if a holding action is what is required or if we actually have to destroy each of these damned things. =)

It will take Terra about a minute of uninterrupted time to set all the grenades, longer if she uses any of her or her Automation actions to do something else. Basically you have to hold out for a full four melee rounds, but at the rate that you are disabling the Skelebots, it won't be that long.

If you cast a second Wall of Wind, you have two areas you can place it. Area 1 would be over the group that Eron is attacking that is currently stuck in the Carpet of Adhesion. If you cast it here, it will most likely hit Eron.

Area 2 is off to the left side, where the last group of Skelebots are attempting to approach. Laying the Wall of Wind here will not hit Eron or any of your party and will completely block off all the approach routes to the reactor.

I am thinking that if we hit them with another Wind Wall, it will block the bots well enough to let Terra get the kaboomies planted and then we can get the heck out of there. They can try to lay down some fire from their rail guns, but if they shoot and miss us, it will hit the delicate stuff of the reactor and do our work for us.

I'm not worried at all about this since Sherwood made this clear earlier.

Also, the Wind Wall is still up and working, keeping the bots from getting access to Terra and the reactor.

Sherwood Sherwood By "last group," I take it you mean Skellies 16-20? If so, a second Wall of Wind (he only gets three/day) on Area 2 seems to be the safest bet.

Correct. That is your call to make. Lets see how things progress from here.

With a wave of his windy staff, Snowfall lays down another Wall of Wind, creating a second maelstrom inside the chamber. Purr Purr , just to be clear; are you setting the Wall as a vertical barrier, or a horizontal barrier to make the wind tunnel effect?
I don't know. Which is best given the situation? Since I don't have eyes on the layout of the room, I can't tell.

Both will keep the area blocked off, but the wind tunnel version will send anything in it flying back and do some damage to it.
