Sherwood Sherwood You've all been recruited together. So while you probably don't know each other personally (Unless you guys want to delve into inter-character relationships with each other) you are aware of each other and know you've been joined up together.

Gill Ravencrest, at your service!
If anyone can't see it-Gill's background is the Entertainer variant "Gladiator."

His backstory revolves around him being a slave that worked in a (now disbanded) Coliseum. He would do clean-up and maintenance for the most part. At the age of 20, he persuaded the owner of the Coliseum to allow him a chance at participating.

For the next 4 years, he would do opening acts, low-brow performances and would win his matches to hype up the audience for the big battles.

Someone bought Gill, having been entertained by his performance and inducted him into a Holy Order, in which for the past year he has trained as a Paladin.

Norixius Shemlech, "Twinmind"

Shemlech (Dragonborn names are Clan then Given-name; "Twinmind" is the nickname he earned as a child) is a tall, young, muscular dragonborn; an imposing presence with his halberd in hand. That's all most people see when they look at him; but he'd rather they knew him for his equally strong mind, for Shemlech is first and foremost a scholar. Until recently a librarian in an arcane library, Shemlech seems reticent to go into much detail about why he left; but no matter - he looks like he'll be handy in a fight.

(I'll transcribe the Dicecloud link into a forum format At Some Point; but I'll be keeping Dicecloud as the primary reference. If anyone has any art they think would suit, that'd be grand. I'm coming up blank)

Backstory
Bright’s mother, a tiefling called Agnesolis was a powerful sorcerer who used her powers for her own gain, treated as a villain by many, but seen as a figurehead by many tieflings and other downtrodden groups. She was known as Wildfire, due to her use of fire magic and chaotic nature. As she grew older, though, she grew tired of this life, and when she was outcast from the city she lived in, she used the opportunity to give it up completely. She used magic and alchemy to hide the most obvious of her infernal features, and settled down in a small town. It wasn’t too long before she met Steffan Vetchmere, a local merchant, and fell in love with him, and it wasn’t too long after that that they had a child.

Bright was a healthy child, but as she grew, it was clear that something in the magics her mother had used had carried through to her. Her horns were small and slow-growing, and she had no trace of the spellcasting ability almost always present in tieflings. To her mother, this was preferable. Agnes had seen the way that tieflings were treated, and wanted to protect her daughter from that until she was old enough to make her own decisions. Fascinated by her mother’s draconian wings, and frustrated by how hers remained frail and limp, she experimented with simple braces, studying artificing to make them work. After a few years of work, she finally succeeded. But her interest in artificing was fully cemented by this point, and that interest eventually turned into a profession.

When she made the decision to move to Baldur’s Gate, Bright claimed it was in order to work under Dulnar Silverguard, a well-known artificer in the city. Which was true, but she was also excited to be in a place where her kind were more accepted. However, Silverguard was somewhat hostile to tieflings, so she developed a double life - hiding her identity at work, and embracing it elsewhere. She ran into another tiefling one night who asked her name, though, and she panicked, not wanting to say her real name for fear of rumor getting back to her employer. So she said the first thing that came to mind - “Wildfire”, her mother’s old title. And the other tiefling reacted, suddenly looking at Bright with recognition and a little awe. It seemed stories about her mother had reached here, and survived even after she had retired. Bright suddenly felt like part of a community, like she was important, and she decided she couldn’t let that feeling go.

The costume she made wasn’t an exact replica, but it was close enough for people to recognise. And while she didn’t actually have the magic her mother had wielded, the hidden machines she had constructed made up for it - lacking the power, but enough at least to make a dramatic puff of smoke or bolt of fire. Her work was scattershot, rarely taking on actual conflict in favor of sowing fear and confusion, but she always tried to protect tieflings, and defend anyone who was unfairly attacked.

For a while she lived like that, donning a disguise to enact her own form of justice, using artificing, smoke and mirrors, and her mothers existing reputation to give the impression of her being a talented magic user, all the while studying and honing her craft. However, when the Flaming Fist took notice of her activities and apparent magical talent, they drafted her as a member. Now Bright is faced with the difficulty of having to bluff her way around a mission more serious than anything she’s embarked on before.

Loving everyone's characters so far, and looking forward to seeing them interact!

It's not, I love the description and the flavor you give it!

Nonialba Nonialba Are we keeping to a post order or anything like that? Outside of combat, at least
You don't need to at all, I will wait for all six of you to reply before I reply. So it's up to you. Just in combat, we should stick to initiative order, just to make it easier. But outside of that, it's up to whoever. I won't rush ahead. You'll all get a turn. Unless you have nothing to say in a roleplay moment that's fine too.

Oh damn! I forgot to tag ya Chowlett Chowlett ,but it's alright! You don't need to worry about the interaction. I will be sure to remember to tag people if I'm interacting with 'em XD.
Love Shemlech's energy too!

Oh lord I'm already thinking that Gill will just give someone his money to keep and buy things for him
"I can't use this. Can you hold onto it for me?"
XD

Yes, she would be aware of the Elfsong Tavern and where it is. It's located West of the Basilisk Gate. Where you are now.

I'll point out to you all, that you have the chance to talk and roleplay with each other further in this situation and in future. When you're ready to move on just notify me ooc and I'll move the story along, thanks :)
