oh i absolutely love Mr. Bunyan. Ripley is unafraid of big scary people (or Pokemon) thanks to growing up with bug-types, whom I assume that naturally people would want to steer very clear from. some bug-types are indeed pretty scary-looking (ie, Vespiquen, Pinsir, Beedrill, Scizor, goddamn Buzzwole), so i don't think that the tiny "bug catcher" would be afraid of Paul that much.
Lovely! Can't wait!!!!

When you make your advanced team to stally everyone just challenges you first : (

I will say, describing his home will be fun.

From the hordes of bouncesweet, Roselia who are dozing in the sun, Steenie and Tsareena trying to herd the first, the never ending dance party of the Ludicolo line nearby...

Man must smell divine from all these pokemon.

Even Mari's team has a bit of weather stuff going on at the start of the fight. That's how powerful changing the terrain is.

I feel like Albert can make some interesting things happen with his Ghost types. Fighting and Normal Types can't even hit his mons unless they bring other moves, and Al's mons will have coverage for everything, including the mons that counter his.
You best watch out for Onion then. Each of Mari's mons has decent coverage but Onion is Scrappy so he'd be your main threat from Mari's. Along with Yakuma.

Paul's tactics

A) Status and controll with buffs to defeat an enemy.

B) Weather strats to help folks learn the dangers of them and how they can help you as well with proper pokemon abilities.

C) UNGA BUNGA

Albert's tactics: Using combined strategy and deception to be effective, covering for weaknesses, analyzing his opponent's combat patterns, waiting for the appropriate moment to strike and making sure his opponents can't set up to snowball.

Or, y'know, just launch a Ghost mon at them and that should do the trick.

Honestly, I didn't mention it before, but I really like Felicia's past history as a criminal. They seem fun to Roleplay with and I'd love to see how they interact with Albert if they're both accepted.

Not really just wanted a reason to note the power of Unga, and Bunga.

I plan to have her be a criminal turned private investigator and gym leader. Thought it would be a really cool character backstory

Private investigator is really interesting. She has the knowledge and know how of being a criminal, so I can see that making for a good plot. Though something tells me she won't ever change in maturity that much, which I don't mind lmao.

Mari’s strat is basically as her quote says. Win, then hit. Squirt and Toxanne both have moves that cause rain. Both receive a buff when it rains. They are basically the stall team. Do damage to anyone put before them before they get put down.

Onion and Yakuma, both are heavy hitters who also deal with type coverage the best. Onion can attack Ghosts with Fighting moves. Yakuma can learn basically all of the punch variations while also hitting like a truck using them.

As for Green Knight and Anubis, they are the clean up crew. Both are very strong and by the end of a battle can take out most of the remaining mons without trouble. For the ones they can’t, they are still strong enough to likely deal with them.

Finishing the last up of Saphira and her team, the daunting task of now finding corresponding images to match.

Ripley's tactics: buff and status, then sweep as best you can. Bug-type, compared to other types, have the most resisted typing against them (offensively, tied with Grass-type), and their stats aren't quite the best compared to the other typings, so you have to make do with what you can. Use the dual-typing to your advantage, and gain the upper hand bit by bit.

Question, though: are TMs/HMs allowed on a character's Pokemon? They're just moves you can have a Pokemon learn, so I wouldn't see it as that big of an issue imo

I mean, tms should be generally available if yea got the cash.

If general trainers should be making use of them, so should the leaders to make a good show of how folks should do things yea?

Its the leaders duty to show the true potential of pokemon, so I imagine it'd be fine.

Throw a bug at em, ez win
Dark types: I am the darkness, font of evil and the pitchest black, you cannot escape me for I am within your heart and soul-

"Thats cool, but hey heres a Caterpie."

Dark types: *High pitch squealing*

Whenever I think about Bug being super-effective against Grass, I always think of a little Caterpie munching on the Grass-type's plants/leaves.

Alright, I rewrote Felicias personality and appearance and I filled in her backstory. I hope it looks up to snuff, please message me if there's something wrong with it.

Also, Felicia's backstory explicitly says that she heisted Pokémon gyms of their equipment of props then held them for ransom or auctioned them off if the leader didn't pay for them back. On that note, if somebody wants to allow me to say that Felicia robbed their gym please DM me so we can talk about that for the relationships tab.

Final thing, what site did yall use to set up your Pokémon teams so cleanly?
