Experiences The Weirdest Thing You've Googled for a RP

Mother rabbits may eat their young though. They don't do it often, but they may do it due to a bunch of factors, like if a predator is nearby and the survival mechanism tells her to do that, or it could be from a change in the environment, or lack of resources (like food). I found it interesting that rabbits (and other small mammals) kill their young due to external stresses, especially within the presence of predators. This could be because the mother will feel obligated to stay with her young if the predator comes by and self-preservation takes over. They know they can't scare off the predator, so they will kill their young to destroy the attachment they have over staying and then leave. Plus, predators may be more brutal and the mother will kill their young in a more "humane" way.

Plus, this site explains that there have been cases of rabbits eating small carcasses, including their own kind and that of their predators. It's to boost their protein intake when nutrients are scarce, and they'll even run other small predators off to keep the carcass to themselves.
Absolutely horrible. Thank you so much.

I appreciate your thought process, but it was more so to try and defend a character design choice I made. No, a character with a rabbit mask in the middle of a group with carnivorous animal masks does in fact stick out like a sore thumb.

Since this RP has people with animal masks, it depends on how well known "herbivorous" animals and their actual dietary habits are to the average people. Carnivorous animals are also known for eating berries and grass due to upset stomachs or when food is scarce. Not all herbivores are truly herbivores and not all carnivores are truly carnivores. They may just eat whatever is nearby, especially if nutrients are scarce and they get the sudden urge (like feeling the urge to eat chocolate because you are craving the dopamine, or craving orange juice because your body understands it needs Vitamin C and you may be deficient in it).

Deer (who have been reported to eat birds) and rabbit masks may still stick out like a sore thumb in a group of carnivorous animal masks. People may ask why they are wearing that mask and they'll become something of a "hey, this person is wearing a non-traditional carnivore mask" and will start asking questions. A lot of attention will still be put on them.

Absolutely horrible. Thank you so much.

You're welcome :3

Nothing odd recently but I know ive had to google the following few:
-Ingrediants to make various poisons
-When windmills were first invented.
-How to treat chemical burns
-Symtoms of lead-bone poisoning
-How many lasers pens would you need to set clothes on fire

For a WWII RP set in Germany, I looked up if there were any gun laws, which incidentally led me down a rabbit hole of people claiming that if Germany had looser gun laws the Nazi's wouldn't have come to power which is...something. Regardless, the answer was yes and no. Average citizens weren't really allowed to own firearms, but members of the military and Nazi party could. This was out of nowhere, just thought it was interesting!

I forgot whether I've already said this or not, but I remember googling about "muffet". I originally wanted to know what "little miss muffet" means when a character called mine that IC, but what did I get? This girl:

And if I look up "little miss muffet" as a whole, I got a nursery rhyme instead. 😅

LOL - I don't think I've ever heard it used outside the nursery rhyme! My best guess is that your character was being insulted for either being useless (just sitting around and eating) or cowardly (running away from a spider).

To be fair though, the character who's calling my character that was first shown as a jerk (no offense for the player tho). And no, the story has nothing to do with spiders.

Recently it was drug laws in the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany). Unfortunately I didn't find all the information I was looking for so had to make some guesses.

  • Can you go blind from shock?
  • Is trust a virtue or a sin?
  • When was RNA discovered?
  • When was the computer invented?
  • Sharpshooter term origin
  • What's the difference between a duke and a prince?

I know the answer to the last one! A Prince is the male child of the monarch, a Duke is the rank below a prince, though usually they're seen as superfluous because most Princes are also Dukes, sort of like how the Duke of Wales is also a Prince. Honestly noble titles are really confusing.

Interesting! Yeah, noble titles truly are confusing.

Especially English titles, because a lot of them are French titles but I think some of them are different than in France. Doesn't help a lot of them are different but in small ways. Like a Count and a Viscount. A Viscount is above a baron but below an Earl which I believe is under a Duke? It's confusing as hell. And don't even think about trying to figure out the family trees.

Agreed.

So, this was from around the time that I started role-playing. Me and my partner were in a slightly gory scene when we then suddenly wondered how a certain weapon was dangerous. It was literally just a rose. A plain rose. So, we looked up if you could stab someone with a rose on Google.

...

We didn't get the results we wanted.

...

Pretty sure like 5 dark web sites popped up --

We decided to just go with the flow and say screw it, the rose can be a weapon.

Oh...that's...yeah that's weird. I guess it could be deadly? Not an expert though

Just...why the dark web? It's a good question to know if roses are deadly. What if I want to write a murder mystery? I gotta know. I don't need to see...whatever you got
