Do I just submit it in the character sheets page, or is that for accepted characters? I know some people like to do it different ways

So we're in the Pockets, an area underwater in Fishfolk territory where fishfolk keep prisoners. We're there to kill fishfolk, rescue the prisoners, and hopefully find the treasure that they horde

Recommended injection points
  • Back on the main ship, where you'll be send down underwater as reinforcements to the Sub that's currently fighting a bunch of fishfolk.
  • In the pockets as a survivor that's being rescued. In this case, you're a member of the other crew. In this case, you're armed with only a spear
  • In the pockets as a member of Sebas's Strike Team that's rescuing the other pirate crew. In this case, you're fully armed with diving gear and a harpoon gun
 
I feel like my character’s most natural way of being introduced at this time is being rescued. However, that doesnt really fit the character. Unless his magic is stunted big time, in which case he wouldnt even be able to wield a spear because he has no arms or legs.

My character does have two mana potions she could part with, as they're of little use to a low-magic user like her, but I wouldn't know if that's enough to help restore your character's abilities . If not, then it sounds like being a prisoner would force him into a passive role. And that's no fun, especially when first starting out.

I had a vague idea that the fishfolk could be restraining him in a different holding chamber to study his abilities. They're stealers of landfolk tech, and someone with metal powers would likely interest them. But if he needs to have his magic sapped to be restrained at all, then that could just end up being a repeat of the prisoner scenario.
 
A mana potion would probably restore him to movability and base weapon creation, but he wouldnt be able to build a life sized replica of the Statue of Liberty anytime soon (something he could do easily at full strength)

I have an idea. What if the fishfolk put a magic stunting necklace around him that saps him of his magic (as it recharges naturally being a being of magic aka a Dragonborn) someone would have to take it off of him because of his lack of arms, but you wouldnt have to waste a potion.

So who is currently still in the rp? I read some of the ooc and saw that the rp almost died
 
It's just me and Kylesar1 right now. A shame that the others left, they were fun to RP with too. From what I remember, one just got busy with life and didn't reply, and eventually the others dropped off as well.

Also, have you decided what the treasure is?
 
If you havent decided the treasure, I might add my character’s form of metal magic is usually unique to metal dragons in his lore. So a seemingly normal human possessing it could be considered rare.

He could be the treasure if you are both fine with it. It would explain further why he was kept in a different room than the others
 
In this arc, the ship is in search of a sunken ship in Whirlpool Bay, where whirlpools of magical origin have brought many down into the depths. Since the ship has to keep its distance, the captain sent a small recon group (consisting of the MC's and a sub) to dive and find the source of the whirlpools. There's a set of caverns doused in dark magic, where they fight a hive of enchanted viperfish and find a maze that leads them closer to a source of water magic. They have their first fight with a platoon of fishfolk there, where it's revealed that they've been the cause of the whirlpools, conjuring them with water staves to wreck ships and steal their technology and magic. Since it's a dark magic maze that changes appearance, Sebas and Fergie get separated, Fergie getting captured and taken to an air pocket with the prisoners of a previous downed ship. Sebas gets reinforcements teleported to him, and Fergie manages to help the prisoners escape their cell before the jailers can kill them off. After a few fights with fishfolk reinforcements with both parties, Sebas and his team find Fergie and the prisoners in the pockets. They're about to fight one more wave of fishfolk before plunging back into the maze.

Originally, the treasure they wanted to get was a magic amulet in a chest left in the sunken ship. Whoever contracted the pirates wanted to get closure on the deceased captain of that ship, and the treasure his ship was carrying was going to be a bonus. Now that it's clear what the purpose of the whirlpools are, there's probably a ton of magical items and such hidden away in the fishfolk lair. So your character could very well be part of that treasure horde, I'd think.
 
Nice, im gonna write my first post assuming he’s in his own seprate room near the rest of the treasure somewhere underwater.
 
Just posted again, i now realize I forgot to add 2 of his magic abilities so im gonna fix that now. The first one is mana recharge, he gets it from being part dragon. And i didnt add it because I didn’t realize that mana was a thing in this rp somehow.

The other one is something called honed senses, and it is something that makes it possible for razor to sense things around him so he can use his metal. It also comes from being part dragon.

His entire family actually has these abilities aside from one of his brothers who didn’t inherit the dragon genes

Sorry if Razor is too to the point when fighting. Im used to him easily killing off baddies and him entering a fight near the end because i have developed his abilities so much
 
Ill try to hold him back, but in his character at this moment he doesn’t feel like toying with his enemy
 
Im also kinda used to him fighting armies with guys that have divine powers and just slaughtering everyone because he would have died otherwise. I need to get used to not needing him to kill everyone in sight
 
I'll wait to see what Kylesar1 Kylesar1 advises, but with this in mind we could up the difficulty of the next wave of enemies for a more even playing field. Maybe his powers could still be stunted by something, or the next wave uses one of his weaknesses against him? I wouldn't want you to have to retcon stuff, though.
