The Purple Soul
On the day of April 16th, after the failure of many 'industrious' simulation games, a new indie game hits the forums.
Coming all the way from the darker areas of Japan, 100 MONO ga ~ ta ~ ri, or MONO for short, is a supposedly team-based activity where players catch demons or something.
However, the game presents many potential players with an input for a key code, which no one apparently is able to hack or reveal.
Today, though, many months after its release on the day of August 16th, 20XX, a handful of teenagers figure out the code.
Their discrepancy, as expected, comes with a price.

This game, story, and setting, are all based on the idea of expanding the
concepts and mechanics introduced in Homestuck through a different context.
Ideas like Captchalouge Cards, Sylladex, Echeladders, and Strife Specibi still exist, though SBURB has been completely taken out of the equation, with SBURB itself being reduced to a failed Sims rip-off.
This story revolves around the idea of breaking the rules presented in Homestuck, like keeping concepts stable throughout the story, allowing more than one family member, and making a players home and location important to the plot.
I'm looking for four people to start with, though more would not be completely harmful to the storyline.
