The Academy of the Protection.

Micah gasps at the cold water until he's pulled back to shore, when he shakes his head and the water flies around him. He coughs and then grins. At least they'd found water. He walks over to it and grabs a handful and puts it into his mouth. Fresh water. "No. You need water. Get some and then we can start a fire." He says sharply before he looks at her. Her throat was still hoarse, so she needed to drink.

Nikki rolls her eyes and walks over to the water, leaving the flint and steel behind. She cups water into her mouth and sighs in relief. She smiles and drinks more before walking back to the flint. She gathers a few sticks and some dry grass, laying them where she could start the fire, and she starts to hit the steel against the flint.
 
Micah uses his hands to pour water over his head and hair. He stands up and shakes it off, before he walks around and looks up at the trees. "Reckon we could sleep in trees?" He asks her, watching her with the fire now. He feels something he climb over his foot and sees a large spider. He kicks it off and walks quickly back to Nikki.

Nikki finishes with the fire and looks up, seeing dark clouds lining the sky. "Looks like it might rain. We can look for some bamboo and palm leaves to make a kind of tree house." She says standing up and putting the flint back in her bag. She then pulls out the machete and looks at it. "You can gather the bamboo, there should be some around the water I think. I'll get some palm leaves."
 
He wasn't used to being ordered by anyone other than the commander, but then he wasn't used to being on Earth. He nods his head and walks to the edge of the water before walking around it slowly, looking for bamboo. When he finds some he pulls out a knife from his pocket, which he had retrieved after he'd drank water, and he cuts it free. He gathers as much as he can before he walks back to where he had left Nikki, dumping them there.

Nikki grabs her climbing rope and walks around, finding a palm tree off in the distance. She throws the rope over a branch and ties a knot before buckling herself into the harness. She easily starts to climb the thirty foot tree, and she begins to chop at the palm leaves with the machete. They were nearly the size of her body, so she let them fall to the ground. She then allows herself to fall as well, the harness of course catching her. She unties the knot, then rolls the rops back up before putting all the leaves on top of one another. She then drags them back to camp.
 
Micah sees her approaching with the palm leaves and turns his back, bending down to pick up a stick when another spider scuttles over his foot and he kicks it off. "Can we hurry up and make this shelter because these spiders are annoying me already." He states and turns back to Nikki. He raises his eyebrows at her and kicks the bamboo with his foot gently. He didn't know how exactly to make this shelter up in the trees, but he just knew that they needed to do it before it got dark.

"Scared of spiders, Kadence?" She asks, a teasing tone in her voice. "Here you can use the rope." She says, handing the climbing rope to him. She then cuts a few long vines down and rolls them up. She then grabs the rope from Micah's bag and begins to climb a tree. When she reaches a huge solid branch she sends one end of the rope down to Micah. "Tie some bamboo to this and I'll pull it up."
 
"Why did you give me the rope?" He asks and puts it on the ground before he ties some bamboo to the rope and watches as Nikki pulls it up. Every time that she sends the rope down he ties bamboo to it. She seemed to know what she was doing more than he did, which was surprising. "No more bamboo!" He shouts up at the tree, before he takes his knife out of his pocket, examining the blade. Deep inside he couldn't wait to use it, to fight something, and stab it.

"So you can use it when you climb up." She calls down to him. She then uses a vine to tie some bamboo to the branch. When she finishes bracing it she ties the bamboo together. She then uses a few extra to stick straight up for the roof. She sends the rope down for the palm leaves and sits down on the branch.
 
Micah ties the palm leaves to the rope, thankful that it was strong rope. "You could have just let me use mine." He points out while he watches her pull it up, then ties more on the second time. "And I'm not afraid of spiders. They're small. I'm not afraid of anything." He was only afraid of one thing, and that was death. Not his own death, he'd embrace that, but anyone elses death.

"Uh huh." She says, only half listening as she starts to tie the palm leaves onto the bamboo. When she finishes she smiles at her work and looks down at Micah. "Okay, its finished." She calls, then she begins to skillfully climb down. When it came to climbing, Nikki could go up a smooth metal wall.
 
"We need to find food next." Micah states. If they could find it soon then for the rest of the survival mission they'd be fine. Well, that being said, it was only if they didn't come in contact with anything dangerous. And they still had to let the command centre know where they actually were, considering they just landed them anywhere. Micah grabs his sword out of his backpack and holds it in one hand, taking test swings. He'd need that if anything big came at them while looking for food, because a knife wouldn't do so well, really.

"Alright." She says, and she pats the machete that was tied to her waist with a vine. They didn't give her a sheath for it, so she had to do a makeshift one. "We can go back to that coconut tree.?" She suggests with a shrug of her shoulder.
 
Micah nods his head and walks in that direction, his grip on the sword and his step light, he didn't want to attract attention. When he gets there he looks at Nikki. "Go ahead. Do your thing." He stands back until he sees a rabbit watching from a nearby bush. He wanted to kill it to eat but he couldn't get it by surprise. He'd need to set up snares on the island. At least he knew there was meat now.

Nikki nods and gets a good grip on the tree. She starts to climb, looking straight up at the coconuts above her. When she reaches the top she wraps an extra vine she had tied around her around the tree and her body. She gets a secure grip with her feet and with her hands she pulls a coconut down. She'd never actually held one before so she studied it closely before looking down at Micah. "Hey, look out." She says, then drops the coconut, making sure it didn't hit Micah
 
Micah moved away from the coconut anyway and carried on watching the rabbit. He gets his knife out of his pocket slowly and takes a step, the rabbit tenses up and he almost abandons the hunt for it when he decides he may as well lunge for it. So he does, and he lunges for the rabbit, and he grabs it with his hands, pulling it up while it struggled. He grins and breaks its neck, before using a vine from the ground to tie the rabbit to his belt.

Nikki throws about three more coconuts to the ground, then she unties the vine. She lowers herself until she got to where dhe was about fifteen feet off the ground. Then she jumps and lands on her feet. "This should do for a bit." She says as she starts to gather them up.
 
Micah looks up when he hears Nikki jump to the ground, but then turns when he hears another rabbit. He lunges for that one too, but it gives more of a chase, and it runs in random directions before Micah hangs back for a second. It stands still, and Micah takes a deep breath as he holds up his knife, concentrating on exactly where he wanted to hit it. He throws the knife at the rabbit and it hits it right between the eyes, piercing the skull.

Nikki sighs when she realizes that she couldn't carry all of the coconuts, and Micah would be busy witg the rabbits and hunting so she pulls her tank top off to reveal a black sports bra and a toned body. She ties a knot in the bottom of the shirt, then starts to put the coconuts in it through the head hole.
 
He picks up the rabbit and separates the knife from its head before he ties that to his belt too. He starts to walk back in the direction he came, putting his knife back in his pocket. When he gets back he notices Nikki with her shirt off and he averts his gaze while he picks up his sword and holds it in his right hand. "Want me to carry some?" He asks her, turning to look at her.

"No I got it." She says, throwing the 'bag' of coconuts over her shoulder and tucking some loose hair behind her ear. She nods at the rabbits Micah had got and starts to walk back towards the shelter.
 
Micah follows her, his sword at the ready in case anything happened. He didn't know about her but while he was on Earth he would be on guard constantly. When he gets to camp he goes to the water and washes the blood off his knife and sits on a rock. "I'm going to skin the rabbits and then we can cook them, alright?" He asks Nikki. He hoped she wasn't a vegetarian or anything because she would need her strength. He began to skin the rabbits while he waited for her reply.

"Okay." She says, then sits down on the ground by a tree. She dumps all of the coconuts out of her shirt, then turns it inside out before putting it back on. She puts one coconut on a rock and uses her machete to open it. It took a few whacks but she got it, and she made sure not to spill any of the juice that filled it. She raises the half of a coconut up to her lips and takes a sip. It was bitter, but she liked it.
 
He finishes skinning one rabbit, and then finishes another one, then cleans them. He brings them over to the fire that they had made and attaches the two rabbits to sticks, holding them over the fire. He watches them cook. "Hows the coconuts?" He asks, looking at her.
