Tensei honestly wanted to just leave whatever he was running towards alone. He didn't have to step up if he didn't need to, which probably would've been better seeing as he's now left Kaguya alone. But if he didn't take down whatever evil was lying in wait for him, there's a good chance the school might be destroyed with the world not far behind it. His dragons all roared in prideful unison as he ran, giving him encouragement. When he passed that synchro specialist Axel Kujo fleeing from the scene, he guess he would be in for a rough ride. He just wasn't expecting the sight he saw when he arrived. Rintarro, the Fusion Master, was completely warped, twisted, and corrupted by the evil of whatever he had been given. He flashed back to the blank card he saw the transfer student handing to the Red-Eyes girl. His eyes widened in realization that came all too late at what was happening. That girl was the key to it all. He turned to Axel, who was halfway down the corridor by now, and shouted.

"Axel! It's that girl! It's that new exchange student! She's behind this! Find that Obelisk student with the Cyber deck, both of you get some answers! I'll do what I can here," he said aloud. He then turned back to Rintarro, his dichromatic duel disk activating as he did. "Rintarro, I know there's some piece of you still in there, away from this thing. It knows this isn't right, you know this isn't right. Fight this thing, don't let it control you. Break away from it!"​
 
Rintarro just chuckled, taking in those words. "I don't know what you're talking about! What's the point of fighting back against something when some things are just inevitable?! And if you do claim to know who I 'really' am, then I guess you should know a monster like me stays with other monsters like them! I shall not relinquish this, for it is the most fun I've had in several years!" He retaliated, preparing his duel disk, with a look of 'and now you're going to die' on his face. "Challengers first. Be my guest. Build something up, then watch me tear it down before your eyes..." He said threateningly, yet oddly in a soothing tone. In the mean time, he picked up his first 5 cards and a look of surprise and satisfaction lit his face up. He had probably drawn a really good hand.

Tensei had a pained look on his face at those words. Whatever that thing is was blocking out his words to Rintarro, and he guessed the only way to get through to him was through this duel. He resigned himself to what he was about to do, drawing his starting hand and examining his cards. The bonds he shared with his deck would be put to the ultimate test in this duel, and he needed to be on his A-game if he was to get through it. His eyes began glowing red and green, the spirits of his dragons all emerging behind him in a roar of solidarity as Tensei resigned to have a serious look on his face.

"I guess I have no choice. "I'll start by summoning my Odd-Eyes Flame Paladin!" Upon the invocation, a robed knight with crimson cloth and armor carrying a large great sword appeared on the field, boasting 1700 ATK. "When he's normal summoned, I can fetch any Odd-Eyes card from my deck and add it to my hand. Then, since I have an "Odd-Eyes" Pendulum monster on my side of the field, I can special summon my Odd-Eyes Pendulum Knight!" Another knight monster arrived, boasting full red, white, and green armor with two longswords that matched with 2000 ATK. "And when he's summoned by this effect, I can bring out an Odd-Eyes monster from my deck, so come out my Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon!" The tan/brown dragon appeared on the field next, roaring with 2500 ATK. Tensei then pointed straight ahead as all three of his monsters began to glow.

"Now, all three are taken off the field so I can play this! The level 10 God-Eyes Phantom Dragon!" Tensei chanted as a large column of light appeared behind him. Emerging from it was an enormous dragon of colossal size that made his previous dragons look small in comparison. It roared as it was fully brought out, boasting only....3000 ATK.

"After this, I place the Scale 3 Xiangke Magician and Scale 8 Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon in my Pendulum Scales!" Tensei shouted, two translucent columns of light shooting up into the sky housing the two monsters. "Now, let's Pendulum Summon! From my hand, level 7 Odd-Eyes Ray Pendulum Dragon! From my Extra Deck, Odd-Eyes Flame Paladin, Pendulum Knight, and Phantom Dragon!" Tensei's field was filled up nearly as fast as it was emptied. All his monsters standing in unison under God-Eyes. "Next, I'll take my two level 7 dragons and build the Overlay Network! I XYZ summon, the Rank 7 Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon!" The cobalt-colored dragon with dichromatic eyes emerged onto the field, 2800 ATK and 2 overlay units circling the monster.

"Then, when I have an Odd-Eyes monster on my field, I can special summon my level 3 Tuner Odd-Eyes Baby Dragon!" Tensei exclaimed as the child version of Odd-Eyes Ray Pendulum Dragon landed clumsily on the field. "Now, I'll be tuning my level 4 Flame Paladin to my level 3 Baby Dragon! I Synchro Summon the level 7 Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon!" A column of green light gave birth to the crimson dragon with dichromatic eyes, roaring with 2500 ATK.

"Next, my Baby Dragon's second effect activates. When I use him to Synchro Summon a dragon-type monster, he comes back to the field. And, as long as I banish him when he leaves again, I can immediately use him for a Fusion Summon. Now, I'll fuse my Baby Dragon with my Pendulum Knight! I Fusion Summon, the level 7 Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon!" The verdant dragon landed on the ground, roaring a gale of wind around the entire field with 2500 ATK. Tensei had assembled one monster for each summoning method, all born from his Pendulum Summoning and his desire to see this situation dealt with.

"I'll end my turn there. Your move," he boasted as his dragons faced Rintarro and the evil possessing him down.​
 
Rintarro whistled in awe. "Now 'those' are some monsters! How about I show you 'mine'...?" Rintarro laughed as he drew his next card. To which he stopped and then resumed laughing some more. "Oh, this'll be fun! First, I play my Toy Vendor!" A giant hulking toy-like machine appeared right behind him, looming over from his back, roughly the size of half of the god dragon's. "While this is around, I can toss a card from my hand to draw another. If it's a Fluffal, I can Special Summon 1 monster from my hand. I would like to use its power right away. Edge Imp Frightfuloid? See you later!" Rintarro discarded Edge Imp Frightfuloid and would prepare to draw and reveal the top card on his deck unless negated.

Tensei grimaced as the card was placed down. He knew that, if Rintarro drew a 'Fluffal' monster, that'd mean he'd be able to bring it out to the field and still have his normal summon. On the other hand, he only had two negations this turn to prevent him from either getting that wicked spirit out or something else that would break the board he had just built up. The decision would weigh heavily, but he knew that as long as he had his Absolute Dragon, any attacks thrown his way would be negated. He let the effect go through after he thought about it.​
 
Rintarro draws and reveals Fluffal Mouse, puts it in his hand, then Special Summons Fluffal Penguin. Then, since he controls a Fluffal, he can Special Summon Fluffal Sheep from his hand (both his monsters in defence). He smiles. "I activate my Fluffal Penguin's effect! With it, once while it's on the field, I can Special Summon a Fluffal from my hand 'right now'!" He declares. He intends to Special Summon the Fluffal Mouse he just drew, unless stopped.

Fml... seriously. | The Shadow Realm

''Endymion, finish it off!'' Endymion fired a bolt of arcane magic at a gross amalgram of shadows and body parts morphed into a writhing mass of shadows that barely resembled a human. Raidriar clasped his hands around his ears as it let out a head-throbbing screech, before dissipating and presumably dying, the duel ending. ''Endymion... What the fuck was that?!''

''The Shadow Realm torments its prisoners to madness. That was the hollow shell of a soul, twisted and consumed by this place...''

''THAT USED TO BE A HUMAN?!''

''It is no longer. It was once human, whose soul was dragged into this place.''

Raidriar's expression soured. How many more of these lost soul things were lurking around this weird place, and where was this even? He had not the foggiest idea. To begin with, there were abormalities that shouldn't be conceivable by the human mind - stairs that folded into itself, spiralling walkways that ended up back at the top, doors that lead to true nothingness. Why of all twisted landscapes, did the Shadow Realm choose this one to torture him? ''I'm not going to end up like those things, am I?'' Raidriar asked Endymion, fearfully.

''No. It is impossible for the Shadow Realm to twist your physical form. I cannot say the same for your mind, however.''

''So, how do I leave this place?''

''I do not know, Ainsworth. This landscape is a reflection of the darkest corners of your own mind. Only you hold the key to your escape.''

Raidriar scoffed. ''So, we're going down this cliched plot line, huh?''

''...I cannot understand what you're trying to say.''

Tensei watched as this combo played out. He frowned, realizing if he let this one through then Rintarro would have three monsters on his field without having normal summoned yet. If he had that Wicked God in his hand...That was a risk he couldn’t take. He didn’t know what this thing was capable of, what it would do to him.

“I’ll use the effect of my Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon! By shuffling my Flame Paladin back into my deck, I can negate and destroy your Penguin,” he explained as his dragon shot a cyclone out of its mouth towards the Penguin.​
 
The Penguin was, as such, negated and destroyed. "Thank you. That makes my life easier. With that monster negate out of my way, I safely Normal Summon this! Come on out, Fluffal Owl! But, I'm not using the summon effect... I'm using the on the field effect! By paying 500 points, I can Fusion Summon without Polymerization! Furthermore, I fuse my Owl with my Mouse and the Edge Imp Sabres I am holding!" The Owl flew into the air and turned into a blue portal, which sucked up the Fluffal Sheep in play and a card in Rintarro's hand as well.

"Now watch as these three monsters create a new one that is raring to tear you apart! The king of the jungle, Frightfur Tiger, and I'll use its effect right away! For each material used, I can destroy one card on the field! I choose to destroy... God-Eyes! Vortex! And Absolute!" He declared, as all 3 of them were torn down as there was no monster negation to stop the Frightfur Tiger anymore. Rintarro stood there and smiled as the trio of dragons became nothing just like that.

"Now I use my Tiger's other effect! For each Fluffal and Frightfur out including himself, Frightfurs gain 300 ATK! So, since I have Fluffal Sheep and then himself in play, he goes up to 2500! And now I'll have him use those points! Frightfur Tiger! Charge on that Meteorburst Dragon!" Frightfur Tiger screeched as it leapt at the sole remaining monster, neither of them coming out on top. "I end my turn. You're up."

Fluffal Sheep was on his field in defence, Rintarro's hand was empty, he had torn all of the dragons and yet, something could tell you he's nowhere near done with this move. Tensei's field was bare apart from but one pendulum scale. In one single turn, Rintarro made him cut off his Pendulum scale by half, and got rid of that field he worked so hard to set up. And he's just there laughing.

Tensei watched as his monsters were all sent to the graveyard, but sending Absolute was more a blessing for him due to its other effect. He was going to win, and he was going to break Rintarro free from whatever evil had him in its clutches.

“In this instant, my Absolute Dragon’s effect activated! When he leaves the field, I get an Odd-Eyes monster from my Extra Deck! Come forth, Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon! Then, when he’s special summoned, I can bounce one of your monsters back to your hand! Vortex, blow that tiger away!” His dragon complied, blasting a cyclone straight towards the tiger.​
 
Since it was a Fusion monster, Frightfur Tiger goes off to the Extra Deck. That's not bad, Rintarro seemed cool with this. The only cards he had on his field were a Fluffal Sheep in defence (800) and that hulking Toy Vendor.

"Alright. Make your move."

Tensei drew his next card, Pot of Greed. Well then. Well, it was better than nothing. Due to the disbelief of his board being destroyed last turn, Tensei had forgone summoning a free Odd-Eyes from his deck to due to his Arc Pendulum Dragon’s effect in the Pendulum Zone.

“Let’s start things off with my Pendulum Knight’s effect. If he’s in my hand, Extra Deck, or Graveyard, and as long as I control an Odd-Eyes monster, I can summon him straight to the field. Then, I get to summon an Odd-Eyes monster from my deck, so come on out Pendulum Knight!” His monster appeared with 2000 ATK, pointing his sword to an area of the field as a column of rainbow light shot down, bringing forth the Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon with 3000 ATK.

“Next, the spell Pot of Greed! This will let me draw two cards from my deck,” he said as he drew the cards. Monster Reborn, and Pendulum Reborn. He had an idea, and hopefully it would work. “I play the spell Monster Reborn, allowing me to special summon a monster back from the graveyard! Be reborn, Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon!” Tensei called out. His cobalt dragon appeared on the field, roaring with its 2800 ATK. “Now, with Xiangke Magician’s Pendulum effect, Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon now has a Level equal to its Rank. With the Level 7 Meteorburst and Absolute Dragons, I construct the Overlay Network!” Both of his dragons were illuminated in gold and thrust into the galaxy portal of the summon.

“Dragon with dual colored eyes! Resurrect from the deep darkness and burn everything in the world with flames of anger! Xyz Summon! Come forth, Rank 7! The blazing dragon called by rage! Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon!” Tensei’s ace monster took the field, roaring in rage and defiance of the evil presence that permeated the field. Its wings began glowing a hard orangy-yellow. “And his effect now activates, by using an Overlay unit, all face-up cards on my opponent’s side of the field have their effects negated, and are destroyed! Then, Raging Dragon gains 200 ATK for each card destroyed. Then, he gets a second attack in this Battle Phase! Go, Crimson Flare!” His dragon roared as energy shot forth towards Rintarro’s field from its wings, heat hoping to destroy every card there.​
 
Fluffal Sheep and Toy Vendor were reduced to nothing. "Well, thanks for the hand. When Toy Vendor goes on over to the grave, I can add a Fluffal or Edge Imp Sabres from my deck straight to my hand. And the monster I choose is this one. It's Fluffal Bear." He said calmly, intending to put that card riiight in his hand. He had a minor plan forming right now, hoping it'll work.

Even without his Lancer Dragon, Tensei had enough monsters on his field to take Rintarro’s Life Points from 8000 to 0 in one Battle Phase. This may hurt Rintarro a lot, given that he assumed it was a Shadow Game, but he needed to win. He needed to get that thing out of his classmate.

“Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon has 3400 attack points and two attacks, now use them! Go Raging Dragon, and attack Rintarro directly!” Tensei shouted. His dragon flew forward, building up yellow-orange flames and energy as it crashed into the ground in front of Rintarro, dealing 6800 points of damage.​
 
Because Shadow Game, Rintarro took every last drop of pain, as horrified, warped screaming was let out but when the attack stopped, he seemed fearful. "Heh... That hurts... Now finish me off..." He challenged before he suddenly froze, looked down lifelessly, and then looked back up. It was the Wicked God, The Wicked Eraser - it had possessed Rintarro and speaks in a mixture of his normal tone and this distorted, messed up and hardly audible grouchiness. "Listen to my words, mortal. Dare you attack and win, your opponent here goes on a one-way trip to the Shadow Realm, where people are doomed for all eternity and their souls fade into monsters." The voice explained. This would mean, if this is correct, Tensei would be sending the otherwise innocent Fusion Master to an eternity of god-knows what. For something they weren't doing of their own will! What kind of person would that make him?

Tensei was about to declare the attack that would let him win, but he stopped. Rintarro’s voice came through. The real Rintarro. But, just as quickly as his hopes were up they were smashed right back down when that evil voice spoke like shadow from the Fusion Master. Tensei was gritting his teeth, angered heavily by this thing. If he won, would it even be worth it?

“I.....end my turn,” he said dejectedly. Raging Dragon’s attack returned to its normal 3000.

For the rest of the Duel, the Wicked Eraser takes over and controls Rintarro's every move, while the poor boy himself is prohibited and watching through brainwashed eyes. "I activate the effect of Fluffal Bear in my hand. By discarding it to my Graveyard, I set 1 Toy Vendor from my deck face-down in my Spell and Trap card zone. Then I shall flip it face-up to discard Fluffal Wings from my hand." He draws after discarding Fluffal Wings. He drew Edge Imp Chain, so he sends it to the Graveyard.

"Edge Imp Chain's effect. When it goes from my hand or deck to the Graveyard, I can add 1 Frightfur card in my main deck to my hand. I choose Designer Frightfur. Next I use the effect of Fluffal Wings in my Graveyard. By Banishing it and 1 other Fluffal from my Graveyard, I can draw 1 card. Then I can send my Toy Vendor to the Graveyard to draw again and also activate its effect, which I shall do. I Banish Fluffal Wings and Fluffal Mouse to draw 1 card. I then send off my Toy Vendor to draw again and use its effect in my Graveyard to add Fluffal Owl to my hand to summon it then add 1 Polymerization from my deck to my hand. I then set 1 card face-down and end my turn."

The Wicked Eraser had set up his Fluffal Owl, a face-down, and a Polymerization in his hand, but the face-down is 'known' to be Designer Frightfur. So what is he up to?

How Long Has It Been? | The Shadow Realm

Raidriar fell to his knees, coughing. More blood splattered across thr ground, dying it a distinct shade of crimson. His arms were shaking violently, his whole body trembling from both the cold and accumulating pain. The more he remained in this place, the worse the torment grew. How long has it been? Days? Even weeks? ''Fuck... I need to get the fuck out of here...'' During the entire time, Endymion had remained strangely silent. ''I still have no fucking idea how to get out of here...''

''... Look into yourself, Raidriar. That's where the key is hidden.''

''You keep saying that, but it's been weeks now, Endymion.''

''Only an hour has passed in the living world. This place has no concept of time, and thus the nameless concept of being passes here on its own accord.''

''So you're saying that it could have been years here, but it'd still be an hour back there?''

''This place lacks the dimension of time, remember that. You are in a singlular point within this endless abyss. Though, I fear the damage to your mind has already become irreversible...''

Raidriar growled. This was a total stalemate. He hated stalemates. They were boring, annoying, and made him want to tear somebody asunder.

''I understand now... Fuck it sounds ciched though.''

''Then speak, child.''

''This place defies logic, and breaks our laws of reality. In order to move forward, one must accept reality, and stop hiding in a fantasy.''

''Perhaps even the Shadow Realm teaches good lessons.''

Raidriar smirked as he stopped and looked on forward - the landscape around him faded, revealing he had been standing at the end of a hallway - and the gate was at the other end. However, instead of something like, a reflection of himself, a shadow of an imitation of his sister stood outside the exit.

''Fuck this cliche'd plot... Let's kick the fake's ass, and I want pizza.''

''... forget I said anything.''

Akane(?) let out an irritated growl as the fusion between Red-Eyes and Galaxy-Eyes unveiled its third and final effect. "Red-Eyes.. - you would dare turn against me!?" Just what in the world was that thing? Had Red-Eyes' determination to 'save' its master become so strong it managed to fuse with a monster it had never meant to be able to fuse with? "It doesn't matter! Your creature has nowhere near the ATK to defeat me! How will you hope to boost its ATK to 8000?!"

Kirito would look at Dreadroot with a glare that could rival Elizabeth's. "It may not have enough attack yet.... But it will be soon! Whenever Red-Eyes attacks a monster with higher atk than it, I can send an overlay unit equipped to it, to prevent destruction and damage, then it gains ATK equal to the overlay unit's until the end phase! Plus, it gains a second attack! Go show them !" Kirito yelled as Red-Eyes shot a beam of light out, manifesting into Stardust Dragon, before both flew towards the God at high speeds. (Atk: 1750 + 2500 = 4250)

  • Fuma's running around trying to find others is not working... At all. Mostly because of the size of the academy, but she just hasn't seen anyone else, much to her dismay. She sighs in dismay and stops searching after a while, seeming worried. "Hmm... Do I really need to search, lest I get myself in the sights...? Pssh... I doubt I'd be able to hold..." She said to herself before the form of Ghostrick Alucard loomed over her and she froze. "Your doubting is meaningless, girl. If you intend to paint a brighter future, find others and band together." He said sharply.

    Fuma sighed.     "I've been trying, Alucard... I haven't seen anyone yet... And it's worrying me sick with these gods around..." She said bleakly as she wandered with the shadow of that thing looming behind her, still keeping an open eye out through the surroundings for anyone else at all and pressured by Alucard's spiteful, masked black eyes. It's almost like Alucard hates his master, and is just this much of a jerk at all times. The current ace monster of Fuma's current deck? Big ol bag of-

Akane's anxiety faded away in an instant. She had expected the thing to have more backbone than that. "Fool! That is nowhere enough power to defeat me!" Instead of the 2500 boost in ATK, it went down to a measly 1250 buff. And without the Galaxy monsters to protect it, Dreadroot retaliated by throwing its fist at the dragon, obliterating it off the face of the field. "Hahahaha! Is THAT the best you could manage?!"

Todays a new Day- Why is there a killer Loli in front of me?

Dyna walked down the hall, rubbing her eyes. She was pretty sure she woke up early, but there was no one currently in the hallways, as if they were all wiped out by a meteor impact or something. Dyna would be silent for the next couple of minutes, trying to figure out why it was so silent, when she saw a short girl with blonde hair step in front of her, a few feet away.

She had a wicked smile, as if she found someone easy to beat, activating her duel disk. Dyna was about to prove her wrong however, as she activated her duel disk, which was red with bright orange parts. The blade resembled bat like wings similar to a Pterosaur. "So you want me to duel you? It will be my pleasure to stomp you er-"

"Schwartzenberg." The girl said. They both drew five cards as the duel began.

"I'll go first!" Sarah said as she played her first Monster. "I Summon Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!" A robotic dog appeared. (lvl 3, atk 1000) "My hound deals 600 damage to you with its effect when Summoned!"

The dog shot a rocket at Dyna, who shielded herself, but felt sharp objects slash open her arms. She looked at them and noticed they bled. Dyna looked at the Dog, then it's owner. "How?!" "This is a shadow game! Any damage we take becomes real!"
"Ngh!" Dyna was aware of what shadow games were. To find herself currently in one was not good.

"Now I fuse my hound through it's effect with an Ancient Gear Gadget in hand to Summon Ancient Gear Howitzer!" Her dog vanished along with a cog, as the new avian monster appeared, with wings made of artillery cannons. (Lvl 8, def 1800)
"Howitzer now Strikes you with 1000 points of damage!" Sarah said, as Dyna was sent flying from the explosion. She slowly got up as her LP became 6400. "I now set two cards and end! Your move!" Sarah declared.

And don't forget, I can detatch an overlay unit to add attack streangth!" This time Kirito detatched Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, as her monster gained 1500 atk. "Go, Dark Matter Flame!" Kirito yelled as her Dragon opened it's mouth and shot intense flame at Dreadroot. From the increase from both Stardust and Galaxy-Eyes, her Dragon should be at 4500, enough to destroy the god.

Industrial Illusions | The Chopper's Down...?

Even on the mainland, the situation didn't look very pleasing. Heavy rain, thunder, and horrible conditions to fly a Helicopter in. At the rooftop of the Industrial Illusions building, lights were blazing, shining all over the place. Two men seemed to be trying to board a helicopter...?

"Sir, it's in no condition to fly!" The pilot called out in midst the raging wind that muffled his voice. The man he was shouting to was a messy, white-haired man in his mid-twenties, wearing a cheap-looking sports jacket and baggy trousers. He was carrying a silver briefcase, riddled with locks. Libra Oakes gave the pilot a blank look.

"Don't we have another one?"

"No sir, we can't get another one. The weather is completely unsuitable for flight as well!" Libra nodded slowly, crossing his arms. They'd received news of something extremely fishy going on at the Duel Academy, but it seems they had failed to arrive before the situation spiralled out of control. "What's even causing this?!"

"The Wicked Gods."

"The what?!"

"Wicked Gods. Pegasus created them to keep the Egyptian Gods in check, but it seems they were the ones that went out of control." To begin with, there was no conceivable method Libra could think of, with which he could help. The means to combat those damned gods were in the hands of the kids. "Whatever, forget about it. Don't bother with the chopper..." Libra informed the pilot, retreating back into the building.

"Sir?"

"I'm taking the ferry..."
