Solana Riviera
Gorion's Tower - Meeting room
fem solaire.jpg
Solana kept quiet as more people entered, just as the archer had predicted, she would get to know them later once they were on the road, it would be too difficult to remember every single person off-by-heart immediately after meeting them all in such a flurry. She did take note of the individuals entering though, and most especially the one that had elected to pummel the poor piece of wood that served as the door into submission. Solana frowned at the man in shock, finding such a temperament as somewhat unsuitable for adventuring, but chose to say nothing. She didn't want to get on his bad side, that much she was sure of.

Some of the original people that had arrived before her began re-introducing themselves, which made Solana feel somewhat inclined to do the same, yet she resisted such an urge due to the futility of such an action amongst so many.. vibrant characters. Instead, she simply fiddled with the hilt of her sword, keeping her eyes down whilst humming one of the "Songs of the sun" her father had taught her, trying not to feel anxious at the choice she had made to enter such a place in the heat of the moment. She certainly hoped this had been the correct decision, and that neither her father nor the sun were unhappy with the choice, but it was beyond her control now. She wouldn't be able to handle the embarrassment of leaving this place with all these eyes upon her, probably frowning with disappointment and disgust at her presumed weakness.

To those around her, Solana would appear rather glum as she continued to fiddle with the handle large two-handed sword that was almost as large as she was. That was, until she shove the iron helmet she had been holding onto her head, spending a small bit of time shoving her hair down into her armour in a less-than-graceful manner. There was something comforting about having her face hidden amongst all these people, perhaps it was her way of dealing with the sense of claustrophobia closing in on her, or perhaps it simply served to give her another thing to fiddle around with, but either way, it served a comforting purpose.

The armored creature's head gazed all over the room, his vision looking around slowly as he seemed to look for any traces of any foreign beings not meant to be here. Clenching his armored hand as he looked for a couple more moments on to return to leaning himself against the wall as the various character's respond to his action. Most of them saw it a savage animal simply entering the room without having knowledge of how door-handles even worked and saw it as a wall or a challenge to bust down with brute-force, some saw it as a joke being the armored creature's lack of intelligence and make a giggling child-like laugh at the action performed for him as if it was a seen of entertainment, a giantess simply saw it as a waste of time & an annoyance & finally, the man who was the main-action and key figure in all of this outwardly spoke that he wasn't paying for it. This was the basic reactions that the armored creature has receive through out his life in his current state so it wasn't anything special in the slightest.

Everyone's reactions were standard & basic given their ancestry & ways of life being presented in their various tones, facial expressions, body language & manner of speech. Being truly alive is a wonderful thing and the armored creature will never deny that fact. He wished to feel what some of them feel but he can no longer do so, he grumbled under his breath which was barely audible & sound more like animal noises than speech of any tongue, even troll-tongue which was a cluster fuck of understand unless you're....a full-blooded troll. Everyone had begun to introduce themselves to each-other in full which the armored creature didn't speak but only to take off the greatsword from his back and heft it in his oversized gauntlet arm which he crouched down to wipe off much of the dust it had acquired which he hummed a rhythm in the form of a song similar to the Sun-kissed haired girl who placed her helmet upon her head and drowned out the world but the armored creature's humming was matching the girl's own song perfectly exactly with his own humming as he focused upon his cleaning.

Fillaston fran Cavleton
Gorion’s Tower

Cavleton took note as his fellow compatriots introduced themselves one by one. He would have to remember their names, else he would come across as unprofessional. And he certainly didn’t want to be considered as lowly as a certain few individuals in the room. He would have to get to know them better later, of course. A man can only do so much with a name and a few lacklustre traits.

It felt as if it was his turn to introduce himself, for everyone else in the room had ceased to communicate. First impressions were important, and Cavleton felt as if he was in need of a recovery. “A good day to each and everyone of you. My name is Fillaston fran Cavleton from, as you call it in your local tongue, Casteltown. I look forward to a prosperous career in the near future with my new compatriots.

Cavleton was quite confident that he had pushed the right buttons. He always felt he was good with his words. Now it was time to see if anyone else would come forth to present themselves.

Medi_Banner.jpg

Medi stood in place feeling a little bit ignored. Truthfully she probably had been noticed but she was so use to being lavished in attention being around others. If she made her presence known somewhere in the palace is was meant to be a big deal requiring the immediate attention of those who came across her. It wasn't hard to admit she felt a nagging in her head feeling as if she had to press the others to pay attention to her, though she knew full well how rude it would be and wrong. In a way it was a little upsetting to herself to even feel that way given the fact she knew how selfish of a desire it really was.

Hearing the voice of Fillaston echo out and a moment of silence, it felt as if it was finally her time to speak up. She glanced around a bit nerviously, briefly pausing on the armored girl uncertain why she had elected to put her helmet on before she finally had the courage to speak up.

"Greetings, my name is P... ah.. excuse me... Medi.... yes Medi works as a name." She spoke as a light blow went on her cheeks realizing how poorly she managed to speak up doing an extremely poor job of attempting to stay low key. She had the notion of speaking formally to new people so strongly etched in her mind she had instantly went into autopilot mode without thinking of it. She wasn't exactly all that nimble with her tongue in terms of being deceitful... nor did she really like the idea of having to straight up lie to others. Even obscuring information felt a bit wrong but she knew just spilling out who she was would be a completely terrible idea.

"I am a healer... I... I guess you could call me a cleric? Truthfully I sort of was gifted with my abilities to heal and bless others rather then learned... b... but don't worry, I can mend wounds and treat any ailments decently well! I have to admit I would be rather lackluster in actual combat, it's not something I really took part in before." She spoke a little uneasy but not wanting to straight up lie to everyone else. Honestly she hoped there would be no need to fight but she at least knew there was always a risk and it sometimes couldn't be avoided.

Varis
Location: Gorion's Tower(Meeting Room)

There was nothing wrong with being fashionably late. In fact, Varis liked to think he was known for it. Not too late to earn him any annoyed looks, but not on time either. Precisely how he liked it.

His morning had gone quite well so far, everything was just how it should have gone: a good breakfast, a warm bath, and he hadn't needed to spend a single coin on any of it. A bet had been placed the night prior between him and a wandering mercenary who was just passing through. Varis had to steal the man's gold ring from him and he'd been rewarded with having his expenses at the inn paid; an easy challenge. Not only had Varis won the little bet, but the man was too stunned to even ask for the ring back. A nice little bonus, courtesy of an absolute buffoon.

The well-dressed elf stood at the entrance, eyes running up the impressive building. It certainly was a nice choice to hold an introductory meeting, better than some shitty inn or something. The heels of his boots clicked against the cobblestone as he approached the door and went to push it open..only for it to collapse right back onto the ground. Eh? Perhaps some work had changed the door and forgot the secure it! Yes..that's it. A hand on his hip and another resting on the hilt of his blade as he traveled up the stairs. Room two on the second floor was where he was headed; though the sounds he could hear as he made his way to the second floor made it clear others had arrived. Like the sound of a door being broken.

He never really tried to learn anything about the other people in this guild, had he? Well, it looks like he'd be paying for that now; he'd have to keep track of his belongings at all times. Perhaps that was a bit prejudiced of him, but who knew who he would be working with? He was hoping for at least a few attractive women. Someone to flirt with at least! He repressed a giggle, his hand coming to his chin as he approached the door; the clicking of his shoes revealing his arrival before he popped up at the door.

It seemed introductions had began right as he popped through the door; a ranger, a masked man who just gave off that..'sweetalker' vibe (that was his job!), some..thing? Oh, and a cleric. She seemed nice, though a bit...introverted? A few had yet to introduce themselves yet, but it's not as if he hadn't seen them. An impressively muscular looking woman with an equally large sword nearby, a Kinder..and a woman with a strange circular weapon. A few others as well! An interesting cast, that was for certain!

Varis ensured there was a pause before he introduced himself, giving the group a small bow as he entered; his sly smile on his face. He hadn't even noticed the door was currently missing. "Greetings, everyone!" His accent gave his speech a sort of 'refined' sound to it, matching his elegant clothing. "I am Varis Theeil, 'The Magician'!" Did these people even know of him? Mm..probably? Oh he certainly hoped so. "I use a good variety of illusory spells to assist me in my duties, though I'm quite handy with a sword. Though..my looks and words have always helped me pull through when all else fails."

With his little introduction out of the way, the elf calmly made his way to one of the few open chairs and took a seat right alongside the man who called himself Fillaston.

Ivan Reito
Gorion’s Tower - 2nd floor meeting room
Ivan had a bit of an interesting night. After the long arduous trek of escorting a line of sheep across the plains, he found out the merchant with the pay had gotten robbed whilst in town. As such, he had to make do with a couple of gold pieces, compared to the hefty pouch he was promised. Safe to say, Ivan was a rather sour. However, the wife of the merchant heard of his plight, and offered a meal and a place to stay, on the house. The meal was filled with the most mundane-appearing food, but it was actually some of the best food he had eaten in a while. He was grateful for their kind hospitality, especially since he wasn't expecting to be able to sleep in a warm bed that night. After leaving quietly in the morning, well as quietly as he could whilst going down those creaky stairs, he set out to look for more work. He was dangerously low on funds afterall.

As he was walking through town, a loose flyer literally hit him in the face. It described a party gathering, which literally smelled of gold. Excited by the prospect of joining a party and easy money, he skimmed through the rest of the details in a hurry, realizing he might just barely make it there for the meeting. He vaguely remembered where Gorion's Tower was, and dashed off towards its presumed direction.

It was easy enough trying to locate the tower, it was rather notable with its height and the gathering of people around the area. It was a landmark afterall. Out of breath from that minor exercise, he took a moment to ascertain his decision to join, and dashed up the stairs quickly to the meeting room. To be honest, he almost ran straight past the meeting room, save for the eye-catching flamboyant outfit someone was wearing, and the tattered doors. He almost fell over from hurriedly halting his momentum, but he managed to save himself from embarrassment in front of this crowd of interesting people. "I assume that this is the meeting room for the party? Hello all, my name is Ivan." Though slight, his lip was quivering as it always does when he's nervous. He wasn't quite prepared for so many different kinds of races gathered in one room. "I''m a magical beastmaster, though my beast is actually a golem." He scratched his head dismissively, before sitting down in one of the few chairs left.

He probably missed everyones introductions, since he was so late, so he'd have to get to know people individually. But first of all, he had to stop his nerves from getting to him. Who would've that one flyer would've caused so much stress?

The newly arrivals quickly introduced themselves as the armored creature cleaned up his large sword. He looked at it's shine as he tried to get the remaining bit of dust of itself which the greater amount of shine that it produced was far-better than beforehand which he simply placed the blade to it's normal spot and stood up to his full height which he only needed a couple of steps to arrive at the table which his hulking frame dwarfed many at the table including the fiery lass who named Yema Ren or something along those lines. A rumbled came from behind the helmted head of the figure which sound like messed words or heavy breathing or something along those lines.

This was stopped once the figure did a little bow towards everyone at the table followed by "...No Name...Any More." The rumbling voice echoed across the room which more muffling could be heard as the figure said "....Respect to all 'ere." Raising it's bowed frame, the creature then said "D.O.O.M ... Dat's My Name...." Tell them that fact, D.O.O.M was now at the table as the rest of them. Not as a strange figure but as an adventurer.

( I got 3 on both a 20 and 10 dice, so have fun seeing a bunch of people who aren't wearing the proper clothes to cover their exposed skin to start dying like the pathetic flies they are. )

Luna immediately ran out of the inn at the plaza, because she was in a hurry to get to the Gorion's Tower for the party. ‘Sorry dead people, but I needed to take your money so I can stay at the inn.’ thought Luna. She would have left the money with the corpse as a way for their family to get it if they could find it. However, Luna needed to use some of their money for the inn, as her parents didn’t give her a lot of money in order for her to stay there.
She arrived at the market part of the plaza and tried to move some people out of the way with her right elbow. But that didn’t work, since there were too many people who were pushing each other out of the way, so they can get something they want. ‘Damn it. I don’t want to do this, but get in my way and you will get the fire hands!’ thought Luna.

She closed her eyes, so she wouldn’t have to see them being put on fire, and pushed everybody that was in her way with her cursed hands. Those who felt Luna’s hands touching them was put on fire by her Firey Embrace, and they run around in the market screaming because of that. The people who weren’t touched by Luna’s hands tried to help the people that was on fire by throwing a bucket of water on them, or telling them to stop, drop, and roll on the ground. ‘Shit. I need to get to the tower immediately.’ thought Luna.
Without any hesitation, Luna ran through the panic crowd without trying to touch anybody. For she knew that if she stays there, the guards will know that she caused the problem immediately.

With a bunch of dodging and pushing people with her elbows later, Luna eventually made it to the tower in one piece. ‘Thank god that was…’ thought Luna, who was interrupted by a random guard who was yelling at her for some reason. ‘Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. I am not going with that guard after what just happen.’ thought Luna.
She entered the tower immediately, tried to look for where that flyer was at, and went to the second floor. Luna found the Meeting Room Number Two, entered the room, and put a chair on the doorknob in order to prevent the guard from coming in.

GrantHe climbed up to the venue of the meeting room, taking the time to measure his steps. He never really participated in meetings much, only if he absolutely had to, or it was part of the job to. He never found much to contribute to the conversation. Just an extra swordarm. What did others want him to say? What did others want from him? What did others want him to know of them? None of those really mattered. The less he knew about the others, the better, and the less they knew about him, the better. He hated to disappoint them with tales of nights under the skies and walking under the sun. He didn't spin yarn for the kids to regale at. That was for the actual adventurers. A small figure darted past him a minute ago, and up the same stairs, and into one of the meeting rooms. He heard a guard yell something behind him, and he didn't need to turn around to see that the man had arrived at the tower.

The guard caught up to him, and asked him if he had seen a girl run past the area. Grant answered truthfully with a shake of his head, his expression, or lack thereof, unchanging. He didn't exactly see a girl run past. Frustrated, the guard marched away. Sighing, Grant continued his way up to the meeting venue. He was late, he realised this, but again, meetings weren't one of his favourite things. When he finally reached the door, he tried the knob, and found it jammed. It wasn’t locked, just jammed. This was the same room the girl had just run into. He looked up at the door frame, then at the door knob again. Judging by the resistance, it seemed like the most basic form of obstruction: a chair positioned under the knob. It was a good try. A good kick would do some damage, but this was an establishment. It would hurt his rapport if he busted a door open. He pursed his lips and thought over his choices. He raised his hand to knock, paused, then decided to walk over to the barrister and lean over it. He’d just have to wait for them to leave the room.

At the center of a room lit by several scattered lanterns, was a somewhat large cauldron - inside it were various ingredients mixed in numerous ways, making it almost appear as if it was just boiling water, although in a strange, multicolored look. Steam rose from the boiling liquids, as more and more ingredients were dumped into the cauldron, by Seraphine, who went from one corner of the room to another just to grab various objects such as strange mushrooms, hardened animal remains, and the like.

It took about twelve minutes until Seraphine finally decided to stop dumping stuff in the mixture, though she still has something within her hand. Standing just before the cauldron, and the boiling mixture within it, she began to utter words from a forgotten language. In a manner, it sounded elvish, but on a different persperctive it may sound as if it was a mixture of orcish and dwarven tongue.

"...rgafarila moine!", finally finishing her chant, Seraphine raised her hand, the one which held a hidden ingredient, over the cauldron. A proud smile formed immediately on her face. If this will go as planned, she will be famous within the magic society for creating a new and powerful spell! If not, well, that's just unfortunate - for she has spent a lot of time and money for this one. She, then, dropped the hidden ingredient - a crusty brown leaf that can almost pass as a wooden chip.

The very moment that the leaf sank into the mixture, tremendous amounts of smoke and mist burst from the cauldron, and the ground shook. In the background, Seraphine laughed maniacally - in her thoughts, she had created a powerful spell. As the shaking grew more intense, brilliant light flashed out of the blue. Once it faded, the shaking was no more, and so was the mist and smoke. The room remained as it was before - only with the cauldron empty, and Seraphine nowhere to be found.

At the meeting room, atop of the center of the table, nearly blinding light suddenly flashed. When it quickly dissipated with a quick splash of harmless glitter, Seraphine was revealed standing on top of the table, at the very center, laughing like a mad wizard, rather witch for this instance. The lass didn't even realize she was transported into a different place until it was a bit too late. Her maniacal laughing quickly went from loud to almost a whisper within a few seconds, as she took a look around her, surrounded by strangers who doesn't even seem to be quite a match for a group.

Seraphine remained silent for about a few seconds, until she decided to assume that this gathering of strange individuals was to form an adventuring party, or something as cheesy as that. Finally realizing that she had no way back to her workshop, without the necessities, let alone even know its exact location, she decided to blend in.

The witch crossed her arms, and formed a rather confident smirk on her face.

"Ha!", she shouted, her posture exuding smugness. "Rejoice! I, the great Seraphine, has decided to grace you all with my presence! With my grand magic, you all shall experience only glorious victory in this quest of yours!"

She remained there, in that ridiculously proud pose, without even moving an inch after her short introductory speech - waiting for acknowledgement. Perhaps someone who would praise her.

Yep.

Definitely praise.

Kasumi
Meeting Room

Kasumi honestly just didn't know how to react. Someone who was obviously in trouble had run into the room and barracaded the door. She felt like that was a bad idea since more people would be coming.

Then there was Seraphine. Wow just wow. Seraphine had just teleported in laughing maniacally and then just introduced herself. Seems like many many interesting characters had come to this meeting.

Kasumi almost asked the girl why she had barracaded the doors but decided not to. She just walked over to the door, removed the chair and opened it. Kasumi was expecting someone obviously hostile to be outside, but it seemed to be just a regular guy.

Leaving the door open she walked back over to the table and sat back down.

Make no mistake. Despite his closed eyes and resting his chin on his steepled hands, Eridan was paying attention. After a troublesome day like this, however, he was exhausted mentally and didn't have the endurance to apply proper decorum even in a meeting like this.

He flinched when he felt a change in air pressure and heard a bang indicative of someone teleporting.

Seraphine introduced herself and Eridan sighed. Was this really necessary? He could appreciate the flair for the dramatic, but on a day like this, all it did was irk him.

"Nice," he dryly captured the scene in his own words without bothering to elaborate.

However, when someone burst into the room and barricaded it with a chair, Eridan's eyes widened by a millimeter. His chair screeched as it slid back and Eridan stood up, hesitating. He thought about reaching for his bow, but wasn't sure if it would be necessary. If she had to barricade the door, that meant the situation was the opposite of good.

All the alerts in his mind told him to be prepared. He glared at the newly arrived woman suspiciously.

"Why did you do that? There may still be people who want to come in," he informed with frightful calmness, not yet showing open hostility albeit with a tint of animosity, squinting in her direction and full of distrust.

Kasumi defused the situation and poofed any and all tension in the room by simply removing the chair, but Eridan wasn't any calmer because of it. He glanced at the door, then back at the girl, then at the door, not sure what to expect.

GrantHe heard the chair being removed from its place behind the door, and the door open. He turned from his staring at the ceiling to find himself looking at one of those fox people. A fox lady, to be exact. He always wondered how many ears the beastmen had but always found it difficult to ask, possibly because he didn't want to know the answer to it. He took the lady’s gesture as an invitation to enter the room, and pushed himself away from the barrister.

He must have brushed the door a little too hard by the hinges on the way in, and the door must have already been broken- he wasn’t, by any rate, of monstrous strength, and he would have, at the very least, felt some resistance if the door was about to give way just as it did when he tried it. Almost extremely comically, it slipped out of its hinges and fell flat on the floor with a loud BANG!, barely missing him by an inch. He couldn't say if he had kept his straight face- he was certainly surprised when the damn thing suddenly dropped like that. He had also nearly leapt back a mile, back to the railing. After ensuring that his nose was still on his face, and that it hadn't been surgically removed by way of ‘falling door’, he strode back into the room, struggling to compose himself. He succeeded, his stoic expression plastered back onto his face as quickly as it had dissipated earlier.

Entering the room, he noted the crowd, and glanced at his sword. Guess this was going to be one of those trips. At least he was getting paid for doing nothing. Sometimes, he wondered if the Guild just sent him on these jobs because they needed someone to take their coin away from them. Tax evasion and all that. He scratched his chin, then clasped his hands behind him, straightening himself up, appearing as professional as possible. “Grant Maysfield. I will be accompanying this party for this, hopefully, brief adventure.” He paused, then continued. “I have only my sword and some amount of skill to contribute to your endeavours. Use them as you wish, as sparse as an area my abilities can cover.

Beathan--->Gorion’s Tower-->Meeting Room

tkIK8H97D5blEsI9idnkIXusq5nimsYRrLZwho992c4y8vqKI7ojsGCjCuIsDO0RQxgkhK1r6WGJt0NXEeB2sgUVUsxq5tDwRCRVY7S78sf-4n_u3v3ln-6wlvgwvOw-d04gQ5wF
Beathan's hair and eyes both have a golden tint.
Beathan was lost as fuck . . . or at least he thought that was a proper usage of the word; it was just so versatile that it was sometimes hard to tell. His father had never really taught him how to use obscenities. According to him, Beathan had no need for such crude words, so the only context the boy had for using them was in the books he’d read and his limited social experiences.

He looked around the bustling streets of the city. Beathan never thought a place so barren of nature could be so filled with life. The buildings here were aligned far more orderly than any set of tree. This place was like a maze! The arrangement of the buildings made it impossible for him to walk directly where he wanted to go.

His father had told him that the city was good place to observe people, and so he had made his way here the day prior. It had been his first time in the city, and he’d spent the day exploring its many urban wonders. At one point Beathan came across a flyer on the ground that mentioned something about creating a party. He thought a party was a great way to make allies!

He had spent the day slowly making his way toward Gorion's Tower. More than once, Beathan had asked for directions, but they quickly grew too complicated for him to remember. Right. Two blocks. Left. Three blocks. Left. Five blocks. Right. All that nonsense really confused him. Why couldn’t people just tell him to head North, South, East, or West? It would be so much simpler.

Screams of agony quickly drew him from his thoughts. He watched a woman half a blaze running frantically down the street. The bustling crowd quickly split around her. Something told Beathan that, even for a city as crazy as this, this wasn’t normal.

In one smooth motion he pulled the glorified stick he called a staff from behind his back and began to speak in an ancient tongue. It was Druidic, but to others it may have sounded like elvish punctuated with leaves rustling, trees groaning, and other random sounds of nature. His staff glowed ever so slightly green. “Create Water.”

Forming from seemingly thin air, water dropped on the woman. It was basically a glorified puddle, but it did well enough to dampen the flames to the point she could pat them out. It was all he could muster from this drained land.

Guards came running soon after. They questioned him, probably because of his strange clothing, but he obviously wasn’t the girl they were looking for. The questioning was soon turned on the guards themselves, and Beathan ended up leaving them instructions on what herbs to use to treat the wounds. Ordinarily, he may have stuck around, but he had things to do, and it really wasn’t his responsibility to begin with.

The clearing of the crowd caused by this commotion made it easier for Beathan to navigate. Eventually, he found his way to the tower. He was left standing before its door gazing up at it in wonder. It was quite a sight to behold; nothing like this could be found in his forest.

Before long the comings and goings of those from the mighty tower brought him to his senses, and he stepped inside.

Beathan’s eyes lit up as he glanced about. The people in here were even more diverse than the rest of the city's population! He made a mental note to talk to as many of them as possible; he was sure they were full of many stories and a lot of information, but for now he had a gathering to attend.

The expression on his face grew more serious. Beathan wanted to make a good first impression, but he had no idea what the people he was meeting would be like. He contemplated this as he made his way upstairs to the designated room.

Staff still in hand, Beathan quietly approached the entrance to the meeting room hoping to catch a peek of his soon to be companions, so he could better gauge the situation before entering.

It only took a glimpse for him to deduce he was late, but he quickly found his attention drawn to the dented, wooden door on the ground.

Rather than introducing or calling any sort of attention to himself, Beathan merely frowned as he reached down to run his hand along the dent. It was sad to see a tree treated in such a way. It had given its life to serve as this door, so he thought the least people could do was treat it with a bit of respect until it broke down naturally with time.

Beathan whispered to it in druidic quietly as he lowered his staff to touch the dent. “Wood Shape.” He muttered as his staff began to glow a gentle green. When the dent was touched by the staff, the wood shifted to fill it in. If one hadn’t seen it before, it would have been hard to tell that the door had received anything more than a mere scratch. He couldn’t do much about the broken metal hinges, but now at least the door might be able to be reused.

Placing his staff down, he then slipped a hand under each side of the top of the door. “Hnnnng!” His pale, thin arms strained to lift it up. Beathan was trying to lift it out of the way so no one would step on it, but his skinny physique made it a real struggle. It was a battle of the ages, and, if one looked closely, they could see the veins on Beathan’s arms popping out, but, with a grit of the teeth and nothing but sheer determination, he managed to slowly lift the wooden door off the ground and rest it against the wall.

With a triumphant “Whew!”, he wiped the sweat from his brow. Then he picked up his staff and turned towards the party. Beathan smiled and waved. “Greetings!” He didn’t seem to see the need in introducing himself. From his perspective, they’d all have plenty of time to get to know each other.

Beathan was also a bit hesitant about giving out that kind of information. Despite his warm smile, he was on guard. He couldn’t pinpoint it with all these people, but he’d been feeling the presence of something truly unnatural since he had entered the room.

Due to this unnerving presence, he sat on the ground not far from the door. Those who were particularly perceptive may have seen the wooden staff quivering in his hands ever so slightly. The last time he’d felt a presence like this . . . well it had not been pleasant to say the least.

Yema growled as more and more people came in, creating a huge ruckus. The door was even knocked down, a girl standing on the table?! You would think these people were raised by giants and trolls themselves! Even Yema didn't act this barbaric most of the time. With her thoughts, and a clear hostile expression on her face she stood up and noted the new faces that had gathered into the room.

All of them were of course smaller than her, but she expected as such. Hopefully she could intimidate them to not make such a mess indoors-- Especially with heavy objects that would take a stronger woman to pick up rather than a tree-hugger. Huffing out a large sigh, she slammed her large hands down on the table, making sure all eyes were on the half-giant woman. " I swear to every livin' deity, If another thing breaks in this room I'm chunking the bloke who broke it through the wall. "

She then looked around, and her gaze stopped on the girl who still stood haphazardly on the table. She grabbed the back of her clothing, lifting her up with ease. Though, she was gentle with the Witch as she placed her on the floor. " Tables aren't for standin' around on. They for eatin' and for talkin' " She simply explained, with a lighter tone than you would expect from her harsh expression. These people were going to be the death of her, looking around again she realized that.

She would most likely have to save all of them at least once, maybe not the other berserker -- Who seemed like she could carry her own. Though, she couldn't speak for the other smaller ones. She walked over calmly near the door, though turned to the druid. She suddenly picked him up aswell. Within a few moments he was then forcefully seated in a chair, with only a few to spare. " Ground is for eatin'. Only sittin' when there is no other things to be sat on, you twat. "

She walked back over to her own chair, having set more things in order. " Why do ye' all have to be such a handful? Hopefully this won't take as long as I had hoped. " She sat back down in the chair rather...Forcefully. Though, the noises it made when she sat down got rather louder than the usual creaking her weight caused. It a few miliseconds of being sat, the chair gave out, sending her body into an unexpected downfall. Her heavy weight and fast speed seemed to be enough to destroy some of the floor under her.

Her buttocks seemed to be wedged in the floor, with her legs and arms flailing for a few seconds. She eventually gave up and admitted to herself that this was karma for making people sit in chairs. " Ye' got to be pullin' my kitty whiskers! " She shouted, her limbs no longer flailing and her expression full of annoyance of these tiny chairs and very breakable interior of this tower.

Kolu'luka Oondaemate
Meeting Room
Interacting with: Everyone (but especially SoftSmile SoftSmile )

Despite her wide, anticipating grin, the second-largest-woman-in-the-room remained mostly silent as the remainder of the group continued to filter in in their respective ways, including the sudden teleport into the room's very center. Truly, the call had reached quite far, perhaps farther than anyone in the room had truly expected. Adventuring parties, as far as Kolu had been told, tended to be somewhat smaller than the number they had gathered.

Maybe "somewhat" was something of the wrong word.

Either way, the continued rowdiness of the crowd eventually managed to flip one of the half-giant's switches; indeed, the assembly was dragging on a little long, even for the delver's taste, so she was more than content to allow her fellow berserker to reign the others in and start getting the meeting under control. After all, there was no doubt in her mind that the chakram-sporting adventurer was more than capable of taking care of her own business. Finally, on the back of Yema's persistent intervention, the crowd seemed to calm, at least to a degree. Then, the adventurer's poor chair broke beneath her.

Immediately, the delver's grin escalated into a full-on laugh, lasting nearly half a minute as she went on and on and on, banging the edge of the table with a heavy hand. That was the second incident of damage that day, and if Kolu kept hitting the table as forcibly as she was, there was the real possibility of the fledgling party's tab growing all the larger. Thankfully, the woman managed to pull herself together just in time; reclining back in her chair again as she laid her hands over her stomach. "Aah, already, things are good. Too strong for the chairs here, yes?" She asked, grinning down at the fallen berserker. She reached out a hand to help her, if she needed it, working out her giggles for a moment more. Finally, with a long sigh, Kolu returned to neutral (her neutral being, of course, a wide and eager smile), and leaned forward to place her elbows on the table once the half-giant had once more made herself comfortable, whether on her own or with Kolu's assistance.

"Now, there are many of us here, yes? More than enough to begin talking. How are we going to go about forming this party? We will be in need of work to pay off this meeting's incurred debts."

As sudden quicken of craziness, excitement & adrenaline happened through the room in rapid & quick moments, a small girl suddenly popped out of the destroyed room and attempted to barricade the doors with quicken speed which rapid breathing came from her mouth that a worried expression came appeared onto her face.

This wouldn't have gotten anything if she was a normal human girl who was an adventurer but her pressence....she didn't smell like any human that he has even smelt or seen before.... Strange...Bah, that wasn't important yet but her clothing....and her smell, it reminded him...of the dead.... An unconscious clenching of his left hand happened a couple moments as he looked toward the girl but he had no desire to interact yet.

This was followed by one of the most plain looking and regular human male that D.O.O.M had even seen & smelled in his long time alive & undead but this guy was a character, the undead warrior could tell by looking him that he may seemed like an very basic person but he was someone who had great potential... He also seems pretty cool.

Out of nowhere, a girl with witch hair who smelled of magic and seemed like a witch based on her how she entered the room.... she also held that smug attitude which most young witches that D.O.O.M met over the years..... Witches are funny as well & extremely explosive in attitude along with being one of the most entertaining groups of people that D.O.O.M sees aside from drunk dwarves & giants which following afterwards was a....human? He dressed strangely & he smelt strange as well, not like a human but...similar to a elf?

Not a half-elf scent and not even a forest elf....Like...a being of the woods? That smell was always strange....and it sometimes lead to trouble soon to him.....backluck charm? Who knows but this guy ended up on the floor....cause he desired to sit on the ground nexted to the doors which had fallen over.

These moments cause a shifting in D.O.O.M's shoulders as he chuckled softly to himself as he witness these events.

The final and most entertaining moment of this situation lead to the Half-Giantess lightly 'snapped' which she swiftly proceed to put everyone who had caused incident to swiftly be corrected...... D.O.O.M let out a rumbling chuckle as he watched the events.

He only to walk over the door and pick the solider-like man which he placed inside the room that he picked up the doors and scratched words onto them 'Knock Once If you wish to join the current meeting or Knock Twice if you interrupt for a quick moment.' He wrote these words in common & dwarf. Sadly, Mountain Giants don't have a written language unlike most sentient Giant species.... It was so strange why they don't do so but hey.... He couldn't blame his ancestor for their choices.

Leaning the doors on angle so they wouldn't fall over against the door-way that Hulking mass walked over and proceed to head over towards the small necromancer and lift up the girl which place her on his right-shoulder all of a sudden, she was rather small so it possibly would have been better if she could look down at what was going on as he held her and secured with his right hand on her side so she would be seating straight up as the pauldron acted like a chair for her. It was bit more comfortable.

The gigantic warrior spoke towards the people at the table as he said

"Greatest...&...Most...Entertaining." Spoke to the large amount of people at the table as D.O.O.M looked at the girl on his shoulder which his remain & glowing eye being through his helm to gaze at.

Turning his head fully to the leader of this meeting as D.O.O.M stated

"Let us continuing before something happens soon." Speaking the truth as he await this to keep going as he looked at the necromancer that sat atop his shoulder, looking into her eyes.

Luna was looking to the right while twiddling her fingers because she is in big trouble for what she did outside. “Yeah about that. I kind of caused a problem on the way here, and now the guards are trying to look for me,” said Luna. “Not that I had a choice since the stupid crowd at the market got in my way.”
She wasn’t sure if she should tell them about her using her Firey Embrace on a bunch of innocent people at the market, for Luna thought it would cause more problems if they knew what happen. ‘As long as they don’t find out about my Firey Embrace problem. I will be fine.’ thought Luna.

Luna was then kind of lost in her thoughts on a chair, as she wasn’t going to introduce herself unless someone asks her about it. As that continued, Luna was suddenly picked up by someone, and they put her on their right shoulder.
She didn't know how to react to that, so she just put her left hand on DOOM's head without thinking about it. Her Firey Embrace accidentally caused DOOM's head to be on fire. "Oh my gosh. I am so sorry about that," said Luna.
She didn't mean to do that, for DOOM just did that out of nowhere. 'Well, that plan failed horribly, and now they are going to know what I did outside.' thought Luna.

To avoid any further chaos from spiraling out, we will make a timeskip and assume the following:
- Everyone has introduced themselves and knows everyone.
- Everyone is present at the meeting.
- It has officially begun.

Eridan | Gorion's Tower, Meeting Room |

Eridan tapped his index and middle fingers interchangeably on the table, his droopy eyes darting back and forth across the room.

Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time in small-scale discussions. His mouth wavered and he hesitated to speak, but he found a way to inject himself into the ambient conversation and garner everyone's attention.

"Since everyone seems to have gathered, I advise we discuss a name for our party. If we want to register as one, we'll need it," he explained formally, then sat back and relaxed in his chair, folding his legs and placing his hands together over his chest where they almost reached his chin, knowing everyone would begin to throw suggestions. It was bound to be slightly turbulent with some of the people, but it was likely they'd vote on the name.

Adventurer parties rarely had leaders, unless one of the adventurers hired the rest, that is to say, paid them to listen to him. They had tacticians, yes, but most decisions were made through internal voting. It was a system that treated everyone uniformly and it worked.

All Eridan had to do was pray no one would smash their fist on the table when proclaiming an idea of theirs as if blazoning it. Something told him, however, that was going to be the case.

Sarious "Sari" Solus
Gorion's Tower - Meeting Room

Sari didn't really have any name ideas. Kender didn't really do permanent things so they rarely named any non-people things. Wanderlust made permanency hard. But, hey, at least there was fun. And, according to such thought the little Kender answered.

"Well, I've got nothing. Kender aren't big on permanence. I suggest we write down names on slips of paper and put them into a hat." To punctuate this, the Kender pointed to his own floppy hat.

Solana Riviera
Gorion's Tower - Meeting room
fem solaire.jpg

The elf's mannerisms seemed to indicate a sense of caution around the room, what with the incessant tapping and watchful, flickering eyes, he didn't seem to be attempting to hide such actions either, yet Solana supposed that he wasn't supposed to be the centre of attention amongst all the chatter from all the other people that were to join this adventuring group. Solana's eyes just so happen to land upon him through the slits of her helmet, and as such, she simply took to watching him. "I'm no good with ideas.." Solana chuckled sheepishly from behind the heavy steel helmet resting upon her head as the one she now knew as "Eridan" suggested a name for this strange band of random people that had all come here in the name of adventurer. He seemed like the leaderly type, although his actions seemed to show he didn't fully trust anyone yet, but the same could be said for Solana herself. She was, after all, hiding underneath the set of armour gifted to her by her father, for the sake of comfort amongst the unknown.

Sari made the next suggestion of simply choosing the name out of a hat, although the idea didn't particularly shine in Solana's eyes. "Hmm.. I think a vote would be more efficient and effective than a hat, sorry." She mumbled, having to turn down someone else's idea making her feel somewhat sorry for them, yet giving her an opportunity to bring up her own idea, although the paladin felt more like she was stating the obvious than anything else. "We can always try your hat if the voting thing doesn't work out though!" she said chirpily afterwards to the Kender, smiling from underneath her helmet, while her tone of voice showed a sense of optimism that was trying it's best to make the person happy.

Little Riviera found it much easier to find her voice now that everything had settled down, it was also somewhat comforting to know everyone else's names. Although some of their names were a little frightening to know, like how one of them was called 'Doom'. 'What does somebody do to get such a name..' the small blonde thought into herself as her helmet tilted down in thought, her fine eyebrows knitting together as her mind brought up possible suggestions of such a name, most of which weren't too bad by evil people's standards, yet were frightening to the young lady. Her ideas included vicious acts such as 'destroying a well' or 'dismantling one of the sun shrines', along with various other acts of vandalism that sent shivers down the naïve Solana's spine. Such thoughts caused her to eye the man with a sense of caution, her head fizzling with the thoughts of what a name could entail, and she hadn't even gotten to thinking about all the others in their party yet!

As everything had been settled down which was D.O.O.M managing to quickly put out the flame that his head acquired from the girl's touch....It causes some mayham at first but that was all that happened. It was a mysterious affect of magic, normally one would cast the spell and the magic would follow but for the young girl to suddenly cause his head to be set aflame... That was something interesting. His head turned to the girl who was atop his right shoulder still, she seemed nervous but she was part of this group as well. The towering warrior reached over with his left hand and petted the necromancer's head as he looked at her face, looking directly at her eyes only to notice that the one who held the meeting was speaking.

She... felt strange, not physical but her essence, her character.... She seemed like someone that he had a connection with and her scent...the close contact reminded him of the smell of death but it was alittle bit faint.... Strange. Turning his attention to his fellow adventurers, D.O.O.M then said...

"Names...Not my strong suit..."

It was true, he hated naming things cause he didn't excel at them. Very much so that he often times keeps on using different names all the time that he continued by saying...

"But...I recommend the word Dragon to be in our group's name but the Sun-loved girl's choice is a grand one as well."

Those were his final words on the matter as the undead warrior back-away slightly only being a couple steps as he remained standing during this. The others could talk but the girl atop his shoulder had ample room to speak up in this matter from her high position in the room. She was perfectly capable of voicing her opinion to the group which D.O.O.M nudged her slightly by a couple squeezes on her side to speak-up on the matter & say her name..

The giantess nodded her head in agreement with the elven's suggestion. She was now standing up, afraid of anymore chairs that were meant for the smaller of sizes. She put her finger on her chin to indicate she was indeed thinking of something. Of course -- All of her suggestions would be something simple and somewhat lame like ' Strong Warriors ' or ' Ferocious Fighters '. Though, not wanting to seem as stupid as she looked she kept quiet.

When the creature suggested something her head popped up. Yes! Dragons! Yema suddenly slammed her large hands on the table, making it wobble with it's last bit of strength and creak like a loud banshee. " The Drago' Knights! Or maybe The Firey Drago's? Somethin' fierce and powerful! " She suggested loudly. Then she thought for only a moment more as she looked to the sun girl.

" The Blazing Suns?! Powerful and bright! " She suggested again, it seemed she was full of ideas now -- But all of them were very similar and less creative than you would imagine.

Kasumi
Meeting Room

Kasumi was probably mulling over this a bit to much. Their name needed to be original, not to stereotypically heroic since it wouldn't fit this group of people. Listening to the other suggestions she finally got some inspiration. Doom had suggested the name Dragons. It wasn't the most imaginative name, but it did give her the idea for a mythical creature based name.

"What about 'The Chimera'? A chimera is a mix of different animals that still function okay most of the time. Probably like how the Party is going to end up like. Many different unique parts working together," Kasumi said explaining her reason for the name suggestion.

Luna
Location - Meeting Room
Interaction - Everybody
Luna was looking down at the floor with a nervous look on her face, since she didn't mean to use Firey Embrace on DOOM. 'I honestly don't know what they think of me now, but it is probably not a good thing. Especially the guy who put me on his shoulder.' thought Luna.
People rarely like Luna, because of how often she keeps putting them on fire by accident with her Firey Embrace. Some people even tried to get the guards on her for some reason, and she didn't do anything to them yet.
She continued to have negative thoughts until DOOM petted her head. That surprised Luna, for nobody was ever kind to her once they put out the fire from her Fire Embrace. Luna started to purr like a cat during the petting, as she likes it when someone is being nice to her after the accident. 'Holy shit. He is being nice to me after what happen to him? This is very strange, but I like it at the same time.' thought Luna.
Looking into DOOM'S eyes, Luna tried not to give DOOM a small smile for petting her head. "I-It's not like I wanted to be on your lap because I like you or anything, b-baka... so don't get the wrong idea, got it." said Luna.

Everybody then started to throw suggests of what the group's name should be, so Luna took out a sketchbook and an ink pen that she was carrying around with her. She wrote Death Smashers on it, and put her whole name at the corner of the sketchbook. "This is what I want the group's name to be. I also put my name on the corner of my sketchbook if you want to know about that." said Luna.
Luna rarely tells people her name, as she would prefer for them to introduce themselves to her first. Also, necromancers are always the weird one in the group, since they like to manipulate the dead, their spirits, and/or take someone's prana as their own for the most part.
