Tsukiyomi
Adorable Kitsune Goddess
My most favorite animes include Seraph of the End, Diabolik Lovers, Dance with Devils, and Vampire Knight. What about everyone else?

Ginga Nagareboshi Gin. Admittedly, it's not a good anime. It's your pretty average shounen, however it has a pretty repetitive story structure, and with the exception of about 4-5 (out of at least 20) characters all of them act the same way, and have no factors that differentiate them from one another. (ie. The story revolves around a group of dogs, who behave similarly to samurai, growing an army to defeat a bear. The story is just, MC and friends meets new toughest, most badass dog of their region, they fight, the new dog is overcome and finds their cause a good one, dog joins, dog then becomes background fodder for the rest of the series.)
The only arc that is actually different from the others is the last arc which the creator himself hated, and has dubbed as non-canon, this arc also doesn't appear in the anime, and for the longest time was only readable to Japanese and Finnish fans. While it has (within the last two years) been fan translated, it's clear that it's still shoved under the table because of the "non-canon" part, and the fact that unless you really looked for it, you'd have a hard time finding those translations.
Also yeah, it's pretty bad. The animation is sub par, even if I'm judging it against other 80s animes (it came out in the 80s), and the music and voice acting is okay at best.
However, with all that being said, I still love it. Maybe because it's the first shounen I ever watched (I compare my feelings to it to how a lot of anime fans feel about things like Dragonball, Naruto, or Sailor Moon). So it's partly due to nostalgia, but also partly due to the fact that I still enjoy it on a subjective level. So while it's not good, and I'd never recommend it to anyone. I love it.
