I’m planning to make a roleplay based on a story in scrapping, however I don’t know what category to put it under.

It’s about a science lab where children and teens are experimented on and given super abilities. The time of the setting is modern, but with more advanced technology than what we actually have in modern times. Does it go in fantasy, futuristic, or modern? Or do I have the ability to choose? I’m thinking futuristic because of the use of technology but I need more opinions

Since the setting is modern, it goes into modern, even if it has futuristic technology. on RPN it's the setting that defines genre.
