if Mela knew of Shota's reasoning for his scarf, she would have laughed, figuring he had a whole different motive in mind and it didn't really have much to do with protecting her. "Yeah right, I'm wearing less than you." She smirked at his comment. She had a bag in hand filled with a blanket, some food and over her back, she had her arrows tucked away in a leather cylindrical bag. She picked up the wooden bow she rested against the side of the build. "We're going shooting!" She said. As if he couldn't guess it by now, Well mostly she'd be doing the shooting. Shota was mainly there to be a target and also be amazed.

"We're going to the woods outside of town. If we go to a range...well they frown upon shooting at people. For whatever reason..." She grumbled. How could she be a hero if she couldn't practice on a moving breathing target? Heheh. An evil glint appeared in both eyes as she hooked her arm around his before he could get second thoughts. "Don't worry, I am a total professional and I'd be happy to teach you!" Mela laughed as she pulled him along. "I even packed us a nice dinner." She added. She wasn't sure if Shota had done archery before but she was eager to share with him her passions.

She had to laugh at how murder-y this date sounded but her attentions were pretty pure. Mostly. Mela was going to have a lot of fun. "Don't worry about the setting sun, I have done this plenty of times before!" She had some glow in the dark pigment she put on the arrows and targets to make them visible come nightfall. Mela thought back to how her students loved night archery. Of course with Hideo's healing quirk, any injuries were mended but Shota didn't need to know about that anecdote. Once in his car, Mela rested a hand on Aizawa''s leg, looking far too pleased with her schemes. "Besides, we'll be all alone outside...in the daaark~"

Shota had nothing to worry about. Though part of Mela was worried he might find archery to be a bit boring. But doing it in the dark had to be fun for him surely. She leaned over and kissed his ear, "And you should feel free to address me as Uede-sensei." She nipped at his ear. Surely that could make things all the more exciting. The ride was only about twenty minutes. Mela got out and grabbed her things, leading him a ways into the woods. The sun hadn't yet fully set so they had enough light to set up. Mela pulled out a few small electrical lantruns and set them around the blanket she laid out on the grass under a few large trees. She set her bag down and opened her case of arrows and began to dip the tips of them in a jar of liquid. "Coating these will allow them to glow in the dark." She explained.

Standing up, she picked up four apples and juggled them, trying not to think about how Hideo said she'd be a perfect fit for a circus. Pfft. "Okay so go stand over there." Mela pointed to a tree. Walking over with him, she placed an apple on his head and then one in each of his hands. This was her favorite thing to do to new victims, er lovers, er students. She tossed the last apple up in the air, balancing it on her finger, grinning to Shota. "I know you like to taunt me so for now you'll have to shut up." She teased, pushing said apple into his mouth, making him bite on it. Perfect. "Feel free to move, I do enjoy a challenge." She winked. See? She could be a sadistic instructor just like him! Mela leaned in and kissed along his jawline before she took a small bite out of the apple lodged in his jaw. She then began to walk off, quite a ways away, bow in hand.

Smiling at the light kiss, he only found himself wanting more. Ruka looked quite nice and very well put together. Though no matter what Ruka dressed in, he was sure his mother would love her. "Thank you. I'm sure she will." He took them from her before he used his other arm to bring her in close, kissing her on the lips gently. "It won't be a long visit." He said, hoping to reassure her some. He walked down with her to the street and got back in the cab as they settled in for the ride over to the facility his mother lived in. "My mother, Rei, and I have been reconnecting these past few years. Our father was rather...abusive toward her."

He wasn't sure if he mentioned how he had gotten his scar. "My mother snapped one day and poured boiling water on my head out of fear...I believe she began to see me the way she saw him. I don't blame her. Up until that point, our relationship had been the best I had ever had. She was a great mother." He said quietly, holding onto Ruka's hand, his thumb brushing against the top while he held onto the flowers Ruka had got. Of course he'd want Ruka to present them to his mother. They were a nice gift. "I try to visit her once a week. She listens to my stories though hearing you pop in them so frequently, she's asked about you."

"In fact I can say that whenever I bring you up, her eyes light up the same way mine do." He kissed her temple lightly. His mother would enjoy Ruka, without a doubt. "I have only told her a few things, because I didn't wish to say anything you didn't want me to. I told her we've started dating, that you're very smart, you love strawberries and you make me unbelievably happy." Shoto and Ruka soon arrived at the institution and he let her out after paying as they walked up to the front desk to check in. "My mother resides here because she feels safe." He said gently, not wanting Ruka to worry.

The pair headed up to the second floor and Shoto knocked before sliding the door back to reveal a woman with white hair and soft facial features. She sat up from her desk that overlooked the view outside her window and smiled at her son, spotting pink hair behind him. "Shoto-kun." Rei bowed as he stepped aside. "Mother, this is Kurotsuki Ruka, my girlfriend." Shoto said. "Ruka-chan, this is my mother, Todoroki Rei." He said. Rei bowed again, "I hope I'm not too forward in saying this but ever since you entered my son's life, he's become a whole new person, so much more happy and relaxed. Thank you for your support, Ruka-chan." Rei smiled wide, so glad to see her son wouldn't become anything like her husband. "You two make such a cute couple!" She motioned for them to come and sit down.

"I don't want to keep you two from your little date but I've been very curious in meeting you face to face. Shoto says nothing but the kindest of things." "M-mother." Shoto blushed, taking hold of Ruka's hand as they sat on the bed while Rei sat at the desk. "I hardly see him this flushed. He must really care for you." Rei said sweetly. "So Ruka-chan, how did the food festival go today? Shoto-kun was rather nervous about it but he would never admit it." Rei teased. "I wish I could have attended but large crowds make me a bit nervous. I'd love to try and attend the sports festival though." But it was likely Enji would be attending and that only added to her nerves. "I must say, your hair is very beautiful, it compliments your face very well."

AiAi AiAi

Shota chuckled as he simply told her while holding out his arm for her, "well, someone told me to dress in layers. But I suppose it'll all be for the fun of trying to take it off, right?" He gave her a teasing smirk as if challenging her to take off as many layers as she can. Though he did wear a few on him so it'll be entertaining to see her try. Noticing the bow she was holding, Shota lifted a brow and could only stare blankly at her. Hm, why did he have a bad feeling for all this? Before he can even try to deter her from this idea, he felt himself being pushed towards his car.

Holding back a sigh, as he held the door open to his car as he silently wondered how his lovely date night turned into him becoming a living target? But seeing how happy she sounded about it, Shota couldn't help but just go along with it. He's faced arrows to the face before, he could handle this much. Though Mela seemed to have perfect accuracy so that would be a bit problematic. As he began to drive towards the woods, he smirked at her little nickname for herself, "hmmm guess I'll be in your care then, Uede-sensei." He rested his hand over her's, rubbing his thumb over her smooth skin as he drove. He glanced briefly over at her as he lightly told her, "hey now, keep kissing me like that and we won't be going anywhere." She was just too much of a tease at times.

At the mention of being out in the dark, Shota smirked. Oh? Was she just tempting him here or was she implying something? If he knew the thoughts she was thinking of her ex, Shota would have probably asked more about it, but he wasn't really one to dwell in the past of others. Everyone had a past they rather keep hidden, well, maybe that was just a few. After about twenty minutes of driving the two arrived at the forest where Shota followed Mela, he has already seen her skills first hand, but he probably would never get tired of seeing it. "Hmm, it's going to get quite dark, huh." His eyes shined as he couldn't wait for their little fun later. Heh.

As they arrived, Shota watched her begin to dip her arrows in something while he helped her set up the blankets. Before Shota can even ask her to 'teach' him, he was being directed towards a tree. Eh? Holding back from commenting, Shota simply did as told and walked over to the tree she pointed at. Turning back around, Shota blinked a few times as he was now holding several apples and as he opened his mouth to demand an answer, she shoved one right into his mouth. Oh...thanks. He felt his eye twitch slightly and a low growl could be heard deep in his chest when she teasingly kissed him. Now, what was she planning? When she told him that he was free to move around, Shota smirked as he simply leaned back against the trunk, though when he saw her get ready and in position, Shota decided to have his own fun as he threw one apple into the air while he himself moved about. Might as well give her a challenge, right?

Happily kissing him back, Ruka got in the cab with him and leaned against his arm as she listened to his story about his mother. She heard bits and pieces of it from what he's told her before, but she hasn't heard the full story before. Ah, abusive. She understood quite well how that must feel and so when they arrived, Ruka looked up at the building before smiling over at Shoto. Though upon hearing him mention how she was looking forward to seeing her, well Ruka couldn't help but feel both embarrassed and nervous. She can only hold onto Shoto's hand as they headed inside.

Shoto's kind words only warmed her up considerably so before the two arrived in front of the room. Ruka took in a breath as she watched the door slide open to reveal a very pretty looking lady. She blinked a few times as she realized that Shoto has gotten part of his features from his mother. Entering behind him, Ruka gave a soft smile to her as she bowed, "Kurotsuki Ruka, it is a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Todoroki." She blinked a few times at her kind words as Ruka could only blush, "a-ah the pleasure is all mine...." looking over at Shoto, Ruka smiled as she told her, "he makes me very happy. Oh! These are for you...I um hope you like them." Holding out the small bouquet of wildflowers, Ruka smiled over at Rei before taking a seat as told. Gently grasping hold of Shoto's hand, Ruka can only smile at Rei's words. She glanced over at Shoto, holding back a giggle as she began to speak, already feeling quite relaxed in front of Shoto's mother. She had a calming presence just like Shoto.

"Thank you and I am very glad to have met you as well. Oh, the festival?" Looking over at Shoto, Ruka grinned over at Rei as she explained how it went along with a comment about how handsome Shoto looked in a butler outfit. "Shoto-kun was very polite and everyone loved him, they loved him a bit too much," Ruka added with a slight pout directed towards Shoto. At the mention of the sports festival, Ruka smiled happily over at Rei as she told her, "it'll be wonderful if you can attend, I will work extra hard just for you, Todoroki-san that means you have to watch out Shoto-kun, I'll work hard to beat you this time." She grinned over at Shoto, shaking his hand gently before her attention was turned to Rei. She blinked a few times as she touched her hair, a soft smile appearing on her lips as she murmured out, "ah thank you very much...I always had to explain how this is natural haha." Ruka couldn't help but state, "but I believe you are much lovelier than I ever can be Todoroki-san, your son has gotten his good looks from you surely." She smiled over at Shoto, seeing the resemblance more and more.

Looking between the two, Ruka smiled as she happily said, "I'm so happy that Shoto-kun has a wonderful mother. Being in good relations with your parents is a lovely thing in my opinion, so I'm happy that Shoto-kun is happy." She grinned up at Shoto, lightly squeezing his hand as she said so. Ruka wished she could have such a relationship with her mother, but she knew that was impossible. She could never ask for her mother's forgiveness after what she's done to her. But seeing Shoto happy like this with his mother was enough for Ruka. The smiles of others would make her smile in return.

Mela decided she could certainly teach him later. Yes. later. She was about 100 yards away when she turned and nocked her arrow, pulling her string back, inhaling slowly. Her eyes narrowed as she saw Shota throw an apple at her. Darting to the side to give herself a straight shot, she released an arrow, hitting it directly as she drew another arrow back quickly as she jumped up into the trees. If her prey was going to play then she would take the roll of the deadly, seductive huntress. "I do love a good challenge!" She growled as she jumped from branch to branch, not needing to worry about footing as she released again, hitting the apple on Shota's head, it flying off of him.

When he threw his other apple toward her, she launched another arrow at it, sending it flying elsewhere. One left huh? Mela closed the gap though it wasn't really necessary to do so. She jumped to another branch close by Shota as she spun around and fell back, hooking her legs around the branch so she was upside down and aiming right at Shota. She closed her eyes and released the arrow, hearing it hit its target. Mela opened an eye and let herself fall, landing on her feet like a cat as she walked over and pulled the arrow attached to the apple out of his mouth. "See? Easy stuff." She stuck her tongue out at Shota.

There were few people who would argue Mela just loved to show off and put on a show for no reason, it was why she ice skated despite it not being a challenge. She loved the rush of performing and amazing others. She fed off the attention. She pulled the apple away from her arrow and took a bite of it. "The kids used to love throwing things and having me shoot them." She smiled. "Anyway, you're lucky I didn't bring anymore apples." She wagged a finger at him as she handed him the bow. "I don't think I want you aiming at me but I should at least show you how to use it. I can't have my boyfriend not know how to shoot an arrow." She winked. "So have you ever shot before?" Mela moved around behind him as she placed his hands where they needed to be, "It's pretty much muscle memory after a while." She said.

She pulled his arm back, demonstrating the right grip needed for a typical arrow at a good distance. She brushed her lips along the back of his neck as she stood on her tiptoes. She then helped him nock an arrow as she walked over and jammed a glowing arrow into the tree. "Try hitting somewhere near it." She instructed.

It was quiet a relief for Shoto to see his mother and girlfriend getting along so well. He never had doubts but he knew Ruka did and he hoped she was enjoying herself. Shoto could see his mother was quite happy to meet Ruka and see firsthand what kind of a special girl she was and why Shoto spoke so highly of her. Rei knew her son didn't really mention romantic pursuits so she was so happy to hear that someone had caught his eye and perhaps history wouldn't repeat itself. She wanted her son to be in a happy marriage where the end goal wasn't to give birth to a strong fighter. She wanted Shoto to marry for love, real love.

At the mention of the festival, he held back a blush, knowing what to leave out for obvious reasons. "Ahh well I hardly noticed, I was mostly focused on Ruka-chan. she was very cute." Shoto said, smiling to Ruka at her light pout. Aw there was no need to look at him that way. Though Shoto wasn't sure his mother would attend, it was a nice thought but one he wasn't holding his breath for. He smirked at Ruka's comment about working hard for his mother but also that she'd work to beat him. "I look forward to another rematch." Shoto replied, just as determined as Ruka was to impress all spectators and possible agencies. Rei blushed at Ruka's mind words about her appearance. "Oh, thank you." She smiled warmly.

Ruka expressed joy in Shota's relationship with Rei, causing them both to look to one another and smile. They were indeed lucky. Shoto glanced down at his hand holding Ruka's and brought it up to his lips. "If you ever need anything, advice or an ear to talk to, please don't hesitate to reach out to me." Rei smiled. "I can't imagine how difficult it must be to be away from home, undergoing such a challenge as attending UA's hero course. I would love to visit with you, just us girls." Rei offered to Ruka. "Shoto-kun mentioned you cooked for him on your first date, it warms my heart to know he's been well taken care of. Not only are you a great cook from what I hear, you're also determined and very loyal. Shoto-kun found a lovely companion in you, Ruka-chan." Rie commented.

Shoto blushed and glanced to Ruka. "Don't let this one get away, Shoto-kun." Rei teased. Shoto's blush got even brighter. "So Ruka-chan, are you looking to make a career as a hero? What hero name have you selected?" Rei inquired, curious as to Ruka's goals outside of UA. Though she didn't want to get into the talk of family or quirks right now, wanting to keep things fairly light. "Shota-kun has mentioned wanting to team up with you upon graduation." Shoto's eyes went wide. His mother wasn't supposed to tell Ruka that. "This city would be a lot safer with you two protecting it."

AiAi AiAi

As much as he would love to just stand there and admire his girlfriend, teasing her and having fun was something Shota quite enjoyed just as much. As he moved about, he tossed the apples towards her, not worrying about her falling thanks to her quirk. He knew she tripped on purpose during the festival and so he wasn't worried about her falling this time around, though he was tempted to just call out to her and be careful not to fall. Oh, if only this apple wasn't lodged in his mouth. As he moved about, he could hear her up in the trees. Heh, it was as if he was her prey while she was the Huntress. Hmm, a sexy huntress? He could have fun with that. Heh.

As he ran around, Shota enjoyed watching Mela fly through the air as if she really was flying and shooting with incredible accuracy. The last one he saw her shoot was with her eyes closed, he saw that before and even now it still did the trick of mesmerizing him. Shota let out a sound though when he realized where the last apple was. He didn't close his eyes despite his body wanting to flinch as his eyes stayed on Mela. Now, if only she was wearing her cat ears. Heh. Standing up straight, Shota let her remove the apple which he was clamping down on tightly as the juice dribbled down his chin. He wiped it off, licking his fingers as he watched her. He smirked at her as he replied back, "uh-huh, well thanks for the lovely show. Sensei." He purred out the last word into her ear as he walked around her as he grabbed the apple from her hand, taking a bite of it himself.

To be honest, he wouldn't mind another round of that. It was quite alluring to watch her jump about while shooting arrows in the dark. Dangerous, but charming. Taking the bow from her, he looked down at it as he ran a hand over the bow trying to get a good grasp on it. He shrugged as he told her, "hm not really?" He can't recall shooting an arrow as he was more the type to use his fists than a weapon. He wasn't sure where to focus, whether on the glowing arrow in the tree across from him or the beautiful girl kissing his nape as she instructed him on how to hold it properly. Taking in a breath, Shota held the bow up, aiming the arrow towards the other arrow as he released it while saying, "if I hit the arrow, do I get a reward?" He was already expecting a reward anyway as the arrow split the other one in half as it lodged itself into the tree. He smirked as he told her, "guess I get a reward huh?" He had such a good teacher teaching him after all. Heh. Walking over, he wrapped an arm around Mela's waist as he pulled her to him. He smirked down at her as he leaned down to rest his forehead against her's, "so, sensei, how did I do for my first try? Was I a good student? Though this good student should get a special reward~" One that only this student can get. If she were to give the same treatment to other students of her's, well Shota will have to go hunt each one down and make sure they forget all about it.

Ruka fought down the blush at Shoto's words. Ahhh how could he say such embarrassing things in front of his mother without looking embarrassed? Ruka felt herself getting embarrassed for Shoto. But that also told her just how close of a relationship he had with his mother. It was a really nice thing, she was almost envious of their relationship. But no, she won't be. Everyone had their own struggles and Ruka knew Shoto had his own fair share. She won't go complaining or be jealous. Now that just wasn't fair. Ruka's smile grew wider as the thought of a rematch against Shoto was appealing to the Pinkette. This time, she will win.

Ruka blinked a few times at Rei's kind offer. Her heart felt rather warm as she couldn't stop the smile from forming on her lips. Ah, was this how a mother's love felt like? Ruka can only imagine. But was she allowed the luxury of going to someone else and spilling her problems onto them? No, that was just too much to ask of another person, but still, it was very kind of her. "Thank you, I will be sure to surprise you with a visit when Shoto-kun is not around, it'll be our secret hehe." Ruka winked over at Rei before nudging Shoto playfully. Though was it really difficult for her? She didn't quite find it lonely when she moved from Tokyo to here to attend U.A. Perhaps it was thanks to having Mela around and then meeting Shoto, but Ruka knew she was just happy to be away from home, "Shoto-kun and many others have provided me with such kindness that I am enjoying my stay here."

She blushed upon hearing Rei's comment to Shoto. A-ah well that was a bit embarrassing. Though at her next question, Ruka was a bit dumbfounded. What did she want to do after graduating? Did she know that herself...? And what about her hero name? Well..."Yes...I do wish to become a pro-hero after graduating and as for my hero name...I believe I would go with Aura." She smiled as she explained, "it means light in Latin...I wish to be a guiding light for others....well, that is my wish ehe." She rubbed the back of her neck, knowing her quirk could never shine in the darkness. It was meant to blend in with darkness if anything. Though that brought a question to Ruka, "hm, I don't think I've ever heard of your hero name yet, Shoto-kun?" She was quite curious though Rei's next comment threw her off. Eh? Teaming up after graduation? This was news for Ruka as she looked curiously over at Shoto, though she then recalled the question he once asked her during one of their little outings. She giggled behind her hand as she put two and two together. Ah, is that why he asked her that? Smiling brightly, Ruka replied, "you're right, the city would be well protected under our care. We'll do our best to protect the city, right, Shoto-kun?" Ruka turned a teasing smile to Shoto as her eyes shined happily. That was a nice future she could actually look forward to. Hehe.

Maybe next time she may attack him in one of her hero costumes, perhaps the first one. Or the main outfit? He'd probably like seeing that. Mela helped him pull back. It was a very tight configuration so you needed a lot of muscle to retract the string but it was clear Shota was fine in that department. She stepped away, not wanting to get hit if he knocked his arrow off or it somehow flew somewhere. She was never surprised to have someone accidently hit her with an arrow pointed somewhere else heh. "A reward?" She repeated, as if she had no earthly clue as to what he may be hinting out. "Like...a gold star?" She giggled.

Letting out a huff at his shot. His lucky shot, she put her hands on her hips. Had he really not shot before? Mela was torn between scowling and smiling. So her face was a mixture of both. She wanted to keep going then, she was not about to be shown up by Aizawa Shota! Being pulled close to him, she grumbled. "I don't know if I ever agreed to reward you. Hard work is its own reward, don't you think?" She smirked, resting her hands on his arms comfortably. She brushed her nose against his, he didn't need to hear about her ex, nope. Not at this moment. Though it was Hideo's fault she felt the need to wait regarding certain enjoyable things.

"I think we should go eat. Maybe you can earn a reward later~" She teased as she kissed him, grabbing his hand and headed back to the blanket as she laid down with him and took out the things she bought, some onigiri, yakitori, and edamame as well as some bottled water. Mela curled up with Shota as she fed him, enjoying having the night to themselves. It was so quite and cool. It felt like the world was all theirs. "Shota-kun, you do realize going to this party in Tokyo, you'll probably meet my parents." She pointed out. "I think I'd rather introduce you as my boyfriend than my teacher." She considered. Or would he mind both? She wasn't too worried personally and she assumed he knew how to deal with students' parents but the parents of someone he was dating? Hmmm.

- - -

Rei would love to help Ruka with any issues she had, not minding being a motherly type figure to her. She was glad to help someone in need and even more so when it was someone her son cared greatly for. Of course whatever they discussed, she wouldn't divulge any of it Shoto. No, whatever they talked about would be just between them as woman. "I hope you do." Rei said, a flash of loneliness crossing her face. She knew Shoto and the others tried to visit her as often as possible but she still grew lonely and hoped one day she might leave and start her life over somehow. "Ah, I'm glad you're well supported but my offer still stands, anytime."

Shoto quickly looked away at his mother's prying comment. He wanted to just melt into the floor. Why would hie mother blurt that out?! He hoped Ruka didn't think it was weird or creepy or too forward. His heart skipped slightly when Ruka seemed to go along with it, affirming that the city would be in good hands. Their hands. He gave a nod, taking a long sigh. "My hero name, well I wanted to just go by Shoto." He told Ruka. He didn't want to be associated with his surname. He wanted to have his own name for himself, to not be tied down to his father, the second ranked hero in the world. "I know it's a bit plain and unassuming but it's who I think I want to be." He explained.

Ruka's hero name was very thoughtful, compared to his own. Rei smiled at them, "I think they're both very good names. Names for proper heroes." Rei said. "Though I fear I've kept you two too long." The sun had already set and she knew Shota wanted to take Ruka out. "I should go get some dinner downstairs with the other residents but I am so happy I met you, Ruka-chan." She walked over and took Ruka's hands in her own, holding them tight. "Please don't be shy about visiting me, with or without my son." Rei insisted. They headed out and headed back into the city, Shoto holding Ruka's hand in the back of their cab. "See? I knew she'd love you." Shoto kissed Ruka softly as they stopped in front of a casual looking bistro. He opened the door for her and led her inside, his hand on the small of her back.

AiAi AiAi

Shota smirked back at her, as he added, "hard work huh, but a little something extra is always nice~" he chuckled lightly as he kissed her back, wanting to deepen the kiss but was led away to get food instead. Guess they can wait for later he supposed. Taking a seat on the blanket on top of the plush grass, Shota looked up at the night sky, enjoying the cool breeze as there was nothing to bother them. No other people, no city noise, nothing but each other. A time like this was nice and relaxing. He ate the food from Mela as he kept a warm arm around her, ready to just drag her into his ever-ready sleeping bag if she so asked. It was a good thing he kept his sleeping bag with him handy at all times.

Munching on a piece of yakitori, Shota looked blankly over at Mela as she mentioned the party. Oh, right. There was that thing to attend huh. Taking a sip of the water, Shota simply replied, "yeah, I'm well aware of that." If it was mandatory for Mela to attend Kurotsuki's family party, it must mean that the two families had some sort of relationship and it wasn't just due to their daughters being best friends. It made sense since both the Kurotsuki and the Uede family were rather traditional businesses. He was certain that they were once business partners or perhaps still are? He lifted a brow at Mela's comment. As her boyfriend and not as her teacher? First of all, who brought their teacher to such a thing, to begin with? Shota smirked as he pulled Mela onto his lap, snuggling into the back of her neck, inhaling her sweet vanilla scent.

"Of course I'm going there as your boyfriend, so I should be introduced as one, right? Plus, I find it strange if you bring your own sensei to such a gathering, with the exception of me, your boyfriend, of course." He smirked down at her as he pulled her head back so she was looking up at him. Staring into her chocolatey orbs, Shota murmured out, "the question is, would your parents mind the fact I am your teacher as well?" He leaned down and kissed her gently on the lips before pulling away as he hugged her tight, "well, either way, it doesn't matter. You're mine as I am yours." He wouldn't let anyone get in the way of him and Mela. Though Shota would like to make a good first impression so that means he'll have to dress nice.

Seeing a flash of loneliness cross Rei's features, Ruka knew in her heart that she would probably seek out Rei's company a lot more often than she said she will. She'll just keep that a secret from Shoto, unsure of how Shoto will react to Ruka visiting his mother that much. She gave Rei a soft smile as if silently promising that she will visit her often. Next time, Ruka will make a delicious dish for her to try. If Shoto mentioned her cooking skills to Rei, then Ruka must live up to that and show her a yummy treat. Ruka was already looking forward to it. Hehe. Hearing Shoto's hero name, Ruka though it to be very Shoto-like. She giggled slightly as she told him, "that's very you-like. I like it." She smiled up at him, approving his choice of name, though she will probably not like girls squealing out Shoto's name without any honorifics. Only she had the right to call Shoto without any honorifics. Hmph.

Feeling Rei's warm hands cover her's, Ruka couldn't help but smile up at the older woman as she nodded her head, "I am also very happy to have met you as well, Todoroki-san. I will love to come by again and next time I will bring in something yummy hehe." That was a promise. She gave one final wave to Rei before heading out with Shoto. Leaning against Shoto, Ruka can only smile as she murmured out, "ah, well you can't blame me. I think everyone gets nervous about meeting their lover's parents hehe." As they entered the restaurant, Ruka decided to go with a simple cream stew for dinner.

After ordering their meal, Ruka looked over at Shoto as she spoke up, "um well, I met your parents, and at the party...you'll probably meet my step-father." She paused as she wondered if she can meet her mother this time? "It's mandatory for me and Yukito to attend as a part of the Kurotsuki family, but um well you see, I'm not even sure if we'll be able to meet my mother. Hopefully, my step-father will be busy entertaining guests and then we can sneak our way to meet her, okay?" Ruka smiled at the thought. It would be nice to meet mother once in a while though Ruka was always nervous about speaking to her. Rubbing her arm, Ruka decided that he had the right to know, "um you see, there was an incident with my mother when I was younger..." she started to explain, unsure of how to go about this sensitive topic. But Shoto had all the right to know.

Being pulled into his lap, she let out a small noise of amusement. She laughed, he did have a point. Still, Mela was allowed to bring whoever she wanted, within reason of course. But she was quite glad her plus one would be a real suitor and not just some loser she chatted with online. Gazing at him as he pulled her back, she smiled, snuggling against him. Kissing him sweetly, she slipped her arms around his own. "I don't think they'd really mind too much." Well they may, they were quite traditional and fond of their public image but at the same time, they knew Mela's tastes in men were far from traditional. So they'd just have to deal with it. She wasn't a child. "I'm yours huh? I'm sure that'll go over well with them." She said sarcastically with a smirk.

After finishing their food, Mela pulled out some chocolate she had bought as well, not having enough time to bake something special for their date. She popped one into her mouth and leaned in, kissing him as she used her tongue to pass along the melting piece of chocolate to him before she kissing him. Mela thought this was a very nice way of sharing a simple dessert. She pulled back and licked her lips, eyeing him. "You know the trains don't run too late so we'll probably have to get a room somewhere." Though at the thought of that, her face turned a little red. A hotel with Shota? That could be pretty romantic huh?

A day or two away with her boyfriend? That was pretty noteworthy to say the least. Mela ran a hand through his hair. "I'd love to show you around Tokyo." She was sure he had been there before but it could be a bit more extra special with certain company. It seemed like there were so many future memories they could look forward to creating together. She shifted so she was straddling him, not necessarily inclined to get too intimate yet, she wanted to enjoy these quiet moments together. She rested her forehead against his, "What about you? Where did you grow up?" She asked him as she slipped another chocolate into her mouth, this time eating it herself with a smile.

It was quite kind of Ruka to offer to bring his mother food. Shoto was sure she'd enjoy Ruka's cooking. He was glad to have seen them get along well. He had read that some mothers could be protective of their sons and make dating difficult for them but he was sure his mother wasn't that way. And he was glad Ruka may have someone she could confide in. He knew his mother could get lonely and he was sure based on what he had heard, that Ruka could relate to that. As they sat down, Shoto ordered some roasted chicken along with roasted vegetables and a nice wine reduction on the side.

Ruka's selection of the stew sounded good to him and he was hoping he'd get to try some of it. As they waited, Ruka spoke up about how she had met his parents. As yes, she had met his father when he was sick. That was a memory he was trying his best to forget. His father tried but sometimes Shoto wished he just didn't. But he considered her meeting his mom had gone smoother so that was good. He'd meet her step-father? He thought back to what he had heard and nodded. They weren't on good terms. Would that same feeling carry over to him and her step-father? Shoto wished he could help somehow but he felt too much like an outsider to try and offer some kind of help. He thought for now, he had to just be supportive of Ruka and help her through the stressful encounter.

"I would love to meet your mother if possible." He smiled, reaching to place his hands over hers. He knew he'd have to make a good impression on her step-father. He had never met someone's parents like this before and the tense dynamic only added to that stress. But he would do anything for Ruka, without question. "Your mother? What sort of incident?" He asked her, his gaze rather soft as he watched her wrestle with her words. To have her open up to him was something Shoto didn't take for granted. The boy knew how difficult it was for her and he would love to know more about her. No matter what she had to share, he would accept it. And it wouldn't change how he felt about her.

AiAi AiAi

He lifted an eyebrow at that comment. So she was saying that they would mind that she dated a teacher? Okay, well most parents would probably mind that. He held back a sigh as he wondered how his first meeting with Mela's parents would be like. Oh, how he can't wait for the parent-teacher day. Shota can only hope they will just cancel out or perhaps just talk over the phone though the idea of Yukito coming in was somehow possible and Shota decided that he was not looking forward to this year's parent-teacher conference.

Once they were finished eating, Shota blinked a moment as he felt her kiss him, something sliding into his mouth from her's. As he chewed on it, Shota found out to be chocolate and he smirked. Somehow, the chocolate tasted a tad sweeter, but it wasn't the bad kind of sweet. He always did find chocolates to be sweet, though he found his personal favorite chocolate in the form of Mela. Heh. Hm? Trains? Oh right, to Tokyo. Shota smirked as he pulled Mela in close, placing a hand against her warm cheek as he teased her, "oh? Is someone afraid to share a hotel room with me?" He smirked at her, not minding one bit if they had to stay the night. It'll be like a mini vacation, one that he definitely needed.

He nodded his head, not really minding if she showed him around. He would love to see where she grew up and what she's done over there. Leaning over, he casually slipped a tongue inside her mouth and snatched the piece of chocolate from her mouth, chewing on the little treat as he answered her question, "hm? Me? I'm from Tokyo too." He blinked over at her, not really seeing what was such a big surprise as he added, "Tokyo can be a big city, I'm sure the things you've done there and what I've done are different." Though at the mention of that, Shota added, "you can show me around. Show me how Tokyo is through the eyes of Mela Uede." Leaning back, Shota fell onto the blanket, pulling Mela down with him. He stared up at the night sky, enjoying Mela's warmth and the peaceful silence. He could get used to this.

To meet her mother huh. Ruka closed her eyes, smiling slightly. Yes, she would love to see her mother as well. When was the last time she ever hugged her mother? She can't recall her mother's own warmth, it was a little saddening if she had to honest. Feeling Shoto's warm hand over her own surprisingly cold pair, Ruka looked up to see Shoto's face. Her heart melted slightly at how tenderly he was looking at her. It made her blush as she averted her gaze, taking in a breath before speaking up, "um well you see, it was when I used my quirk for the first time..." pausing, Ruka recalled the moments she first awakened her quirk, "I'll be honest, I sort of burned down the house...ehe." She rubbed the back of her head sheepishly as she began to just let it all out.

Recalling it all, her eyes seemed to be focusing on something far away, "so yeah, our house got burned down and I wasn't able to stop the fire since I was so scared. I mean...it was the first time I've seen black flames and it was coming from my own body at that..." staring down at her hands, Ruka recalled the burns she's got that time, "since I wasn't able to control my quirk, my hands and body were just burning and it hurt, I didn't know what was going on and I was scared...my mother stayed beside me despite the flames and because of that...she got hurt, but that wasn't the entire incident...it was when my step-father was yelling at me. I was already confused and so him yelling just didn't help with my confusion...I think...I nearly burned him using my eyes...but then my mother stepped in and I ended up hurting her."

Ruka paused as she took in a breath, "so now my mother's once beautiful face is scarred and it's all my fault." Looking away, Ruka admitted, "I'm afraid of my own quirk. I don't want to hurt someone like that again...and well since then I haven't really had any contact with my mother. My step-father made sure to keep me isolated to prevent any future incidents...and I agree with him there. It's for the best interest of everyone that I stay away. Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to bring in such a conversation up during dinner...I just think you need to know this about me." Ruka glanced up at Shoto, unsure of how he'll react to it all. Unlike his loving relationship with his mother, Ruka was estranged from her's. "Oh, but I'm totally fine living on my own and whatnot. I quite enjoy it hehe."

"What? Noooo. You should be scared of me." Mela pouted at him. She figured she'd have to bring up Hideo eventually though there never seemed like the best time to do so. Why would you just blurt out that your ex tried to do things you didn't want to do and that made you want to slow waaay down? She was a little worried though, she loved their moments together and she did want more but she was worried if they didn't take things further, Shota might get bored or her or upset with her. She decided to put those doubts aside for tonight at least. The last place she wanted to be was stuck in her own head, overthinking things.

She let out a surprised moan when he stole her chocolate. She playfully hit him on the arm though she didn't hold too much back heh. Sneaky Shota. She took another piece and quickly ate it before he could make any sudden moves. "Tokyo too? Oh wow!" Two soulmates born in the same city, under the same stars. That was so romantic! But with him being from there, it took a bit of the fun out of going back. But she would have to show him a few places and she'd love to see some of his own personal favorite spots. She laid back with him, molding her body against his. "I'm gonna love showing you off to everyone."

Sighing, she brushed some of her hair back behind her ear as she thought about the kind of girls he may have dated before. She didn't want to think too hard about that though. No no. Mela closed her eyes. "I still wanna take you dancing and ice skating sometime." Though not in the same night. Both activities were best done with a lover after all. She smiled softly as she leaned in and kissed his cheek softly. "Mmm and I wanna bake something with you." Now that would also lead to something very sweet, she was sure. There were so many things she wanted to share with Shota. Mela had to hope they had lots of time to keep leaning about one another. "By the way, I did get to keep that outfit from today so whenever you want me to come over~" She trailed off.

With Ruka saying she had burned down the house, he blinked. Well a fiery quirk like hers was bound to do some damage but he didn't know what kind of damage that could be done in such a short amount of time. At first he thought perhaps she was exaggerating. That maybe it was just a portion of the house but as she went on to explain that she couldn't control her quirk, she couldn't do anything to stop it. He had to imagine that was very frightening for her and a very scarring way to be introduced to one's own quirk. So her mother got hurt because of her lack of control and of course her step-father would be very angry. But to yell at her and make it worse...?

Still, Ruka had been a child, inexperienced in handling her quirk. Though he had to wonder why her quirk wasn't possibly predicted if her real father may have had it. Shouldn't her mother have tried to prepare Ruka, at least mentally for its development? His heart ached for everyone involved. Her mother had been so scared for her daughter. His husband was worried for his wife. And Ruka was worried about the home and her mother's own safety. It was quite a lot to take in. He listened patiently until she finished, his hand never leaving hers as he inched closer and brought her into a tight hug. He held her close. "I'm so sorry you had to endure all of that." His voice was empathic and soft.

"You're an adult and so is your mother. I can't imagine your step-father being able to keep you two apart." He said. Of course he didn't know how her mother felt, truly but he couldn't imagine a mother rejecting their own flesh and blood. "She was protecting you and I am sure her face is proof of how much she loves you, not of the past or its mistakes. You were young and didn't know any better. I hope you don't blame yourself for what happened. I think your work is meant to save people. Please don't think all it can do is harm." He pulled back and brushed the side of her face with his fingertips. "Thank you so much for opening up to me and I hope you're able to reconnect to your mother as I have mine." He kissed her softly, brushing his forehead against hers, feeling much closer to her.

To many people's surprise, Shota has dated girls in the past, during high school and even once during junior high as well. He was usually the one being asked out and finding no reason to decline, he would usually just accept. He didn't put much thought behind it nor did he care much, plus as a growing hormonal male, well even Shota had his urges here and now. It was only human. So Shota can't say much to what Mela's been through or who she's been with. He can only accept it and just see her for who she is now, not who she was. Shota just hoped she can accept his own past and that she won't go hunting down any of his exes or anything like that. Oh, especially the one who took his virginity, yeah no. That he will carry to the grave for his own safety.

He smirked as he rubbed her arm with a hand as he replied back, "you mean I'm going to be showing you off?" His eyes shined as he teased her, but he was only telling the truth. He knew whatever dress she would wear, he would find it to look absolutely beautiful and ravishing and well, he'll have to maintain his self-control for the night. Hopefully, the party won't be too long. Heh. Staring up at the sky, Shota listened to Mela as his one hand rubbed her side while the other was sifting through her soft brown locks. "Hm? Ice skating and dancing? What do you take me as? An entertainer?" He lifted a brow at her as he smirked. Though he won't deny her of doing such activities if that is what she wants.

"Hmm I've only ever cooked...I don't think I ever baked for my life." He blinked a few times in thought as he added, "I might burn your house down." So maybe they can bake it at Kurotsuki's place? Burning her place down was just fine by him. "Guess you'll have to be my sensei when we bake then, Uede-sensei." He teased her lightly as he stroked her back softly. At the mention of her maid outfit, Shota's eyes widened briefly before a smirk took over his surprised expression, "oh? Is that so...well my house does need some cleaning to do...especially my bedroom. It's a bit urgent you see..." he trailed off himself as he glanced over at her. She was such a tease, but he will be one right back at her. Heh.

Ruka blinked a few times as she felt Shoto pull her into a sudden hug. Huh? It was warm and so very kind, her heart was feeling all warm and fuzzy with his hug. Closing her eyes, she leaned into his hug, her arms wrapping around him. That's right, this is what she wanted back then. She was young, frightened and scared as she saw her mother smiling down at her amidst the burning black flames surrounding them with blood trickling down her mother's once beautiful face. To Ruka, it was still beautiful even now, but now she couldn't face her mother directly anymore. The guilt would always be there, nagging in the back of her mind.

Ruka let out a small chuckle, "what are you feeling sorry for? You've done nothing wrong, except shower me with affection hehe." She smiled up at him as she nuzzled into his hand as she closed her eyes, enjoying his sweet kiss. Leaning over, she kissed Shoto on the lips before hiding her face against his chest, "thank you Shoto...I...I hope that one day my quirk can save people. But you know...accident or not, it still happened and that is something I cannot let go of." Ruka shook her head, not wanting to think about it any further. Smiling, Ruka continued, "but I do hope you meet my mother! She's so beautiful and ahh I always looked up to her when I was younger hehe." Ruka toyed with her pink hair as she explained, "I actually got my hair from my mother, so you'll be able to notice her right away in a crowd...ah but..." she trailed off.

"Mm...well..." hesitating, Ruka looked up at Shoto as she continued, "we can try and speak to my mother at the party, but like I said it's going to be hard. It's not just because my step-father will keep me away from my mother, but it's because my step-father literally places my mother at a place where it's hard to reach...no one is allowed near her." Ruka sighed, every party, her mother would be alone for the most part. Her eyes shining, Ruka smirked over at Shoto as she lifted a finger against her lip as she said, "but I have an idea, a sneaky one. If you're down that is hehe." Just then their food arrived. Ruka's eyes were shining as she reached over for the bread. Tearing a piece, she dipped it in the stew before offering it to Shoto, "say ah~" Ruka hummed out happily. She didn't want to ruin the dinner with her talk about her past. Nah, that can be saved for some other day.

It wouldn't surprise her to hear about Shota and his girlfriends. How could she blame anyone for falling for him? She wouldn't hunt down his exes, no no. But if she ran into one, that would be another story. What mattered though was that Mela had Shota now and she wasn't going to let go of him, ever. If didn't matter who had him first, it mattered who got to have him last and forevermore. She shook her head, knowing the party wasn't meant for her to show off, but for the Kurotsuki family to have the spotlight. Which was fine with Mela, she knew her family would be having another party soon themselves, as was that season. Then, she'd have to show off and perform all sorts of silly things.

"Ah...well I can find other people to dance or skate with. I have a partner who I've skated with for about nine years. I'm sure he misses me~" He was about three years older, a brotherly figure who she helped pick up girls when they weren't skating exhibition sets together. They mostly argued about song choices but overall he was someone she cared for, someone who warned her about Hideo. If only she had listened to him back then. "Oh I doubt you could burn something down when baking, that's an old wives tale. It's not easy to catch something on fire, at least from what I've seen and done." Could he be that bad at baking. "It's just following directions. Science and art!"

Mela scoffed lightly at his comment. "Oh yeah?" She leaned up and kissed him. "I wonder if you can even afford my rates." She winked as she kissed him again. "If I wear those kitty ears, I may just find a new playmate in Mi-chan." She pointed out to him, thinking it was very likely she'd just go over in her maid outfit and spend all of her time playing with the cat. That would be pretty amusing to her but she was sure Shota may not find it so. Resting her chin on his chest, her smirk fell into a small smile. "Thanks for going out with me." It didn't need to be said but she wanted to know she did value his company. It meant a lot to her. "Make sure I'm not taking you away from your hero work though." She pouted, not wanting to be the reason someone got robbed or something.

His apology wasn't for an admission of guilt but an acknowledgement of her own struggles and his own pain that she had to have dealt with so much from such a young age. He was quite sorry she had to be isolated from those she once loved. He was sorry things hadn't gone better for her growing up. Though he remembered she did have Uede, which he hoped gave her some comfort in those difficult moments. If there was a way he could take that suffering and scarring away from her, he would. But the only thing he felt he could do now was reassure her that he was beside her and that he wasn't going to go anywhere because of her past or the history of her quirk.

He was worried if Ruka held onto this incident as she called it, she might be forever weighed down by it. It was one thing to learn from the past but you should never let it burden you and put fear in your heart. He held her close, his chest heavy with worry about Ruka. Though he was very glad she had shared with him and he felt like he knew her a bit better now. She got her hair from her mother? Shoto was sure she was a beautiful woman, just as her daughter was. Shoto blinked as she explained how they might meet her mother. "A place that's hard to reach?" He repeated, not sure what she meant there.

"Oh yes, I'll be your partner in crime." He put a finger to his lips with a smile. He hoped they could meet her but he also didn't want to cause a scene at her own party. Still, if Ruka wanted to see her own mother, she should be able to. Shoto opened his mouth as she offered him some of her stew. He ate it happily and reached for her hand as they ate. He kept staring at her, feeling like this was it, this feeling of warmth. How he could be both happy and calm at the same time...this had to be love. Hearing about her past only made the image all the more clearer in his mind. Ruka was someone he wanted to keep safe, wanted to make happy and wanted to feel so cherished and accepted. Yes, to him this had to be love. Around her, everything felt so natural yet so freeing. He leaned over and kissed her deeply, hoping for now his actions spoke louder than the words burning in his chest.

AiAi AiAi

Why is he not surprised by the number of guys that is around her? Shota felt his eye twitch as the smirk was wiped off of his face. He let out a warning growl, rumbling deep in his chest as he lightly pinched Mela's bottom as he simply said, "don't go talking nonsense....of course, I'm your partner." For everything. He won't go sharing her with anyone. Okay, a few hours every day to Kurotsuki otherwise he probably won't hear the end of it from Mela herself. Plus he wouldn't doubt finding his home burned down with black flames if he denied the girls their time to hang out together. Shota cocked a brow as he looked rather serious, "I baked once at school...they had to shut down the class for an entire month to repair it." He wasn't joking about that, though on that day he did have the help of Hizashi there. Those two together in a kitchen was a disaster just waiting to happen.

He snorted as he corrected her, "you mean it's some strange ritual with spells." Yeah, he was not adept at baking whatsoever. Cooking he can manage just fine, baking...that was a whole new world for him. Leaning down, he nipped her nose as he mumbled back, "of course I can, I pay in a special method after all." He smirked teasingly down at her before resting his eyes, a cool breeze passing by. Cracking his eyes open, Shota was met with a breathtaking sight of Mela smiling over at him. With the lighting from the lamps in the dark forest that they were in, well she looked quite beautiful to him. He smiled back in return as he ran a hand through her hair as he murmured back softly, "anytime for you...and nah, don't worry. My job starts later tonight." He's been still doing his hero work, he's just been a lot more relaxed and not as tired thanks to taking time out to relax and just be with Mela. She was good for his health overall.

The rest of the night was spent rather peacefully as the two talked about many things and just enjoyed each other under the starry night sky. It was nice to be out of the town once in a while. It made Shota want to go camping with Mela one day. Just the two of them. That would be nice. Heh. On top of that, the whole festival was over with so Shota was sure that Yukito will be gone now. Finally! Well, until the party it seemed like. Just for this night, Shota refrained from doing anything too much to Mela as he just wanted to enjoy her presence. He wanted her to know he cared for her more than just for her body. That was just a plus. A very nice bonus heh.

~ Skip skip to Ew...Monday ~

The weekend was nice, aside from the festival though it seemed like the results would be out today sometime in the afternoon. Shota went to school like always, early and grumpy as it was Monday meaning another weekly meeting. Honestly, Shota had no idea why they even held meetings, but he won't go complaining now. Not like his complaint will change anything. Sunday night, Shota spent most of his time putting together the new pairings for the week as it has been two weeks since their last pairing. Last week was sort of considered their break and now that they are back again, Shota needed to make the pairings a bit more difficult so as to keep them on their toes. It took him a while, but he was quite pleased with what he came up with.

Heading to class 3-A, Shota entered the room, his eyes zeroed in on Mela immediately. He gave her a quick smirk in greeting before speaking up, "alright. You guys had your break last week so this week we'll resume the pairs and training." Shota began to list out the pairs, "Todoroki and Midoriya, Bakugou and Kaminari, and lastly Uede and Kurotsuki. We'll start with the matches this afternoon so get prepared...oh and also, we'll be using a different gym today. The first gym is under construction so we'll be using the fourth gym...the stage there is set up a bit strangely so be prepared." Well, there was no preparing against that sort of stage, but Shota won't go mentioning that. Heh.

All Might was absent today as well, making Shota wonder what could have happened to the blonde superhero. Though recalling how Mela was asking for Yagi, Shota can only assume that Mela may have said something that tipped the blonde off...but what? Shrugging it off, Shota enjoyed his lunch with Mela before hearing the announcement from Principal Nezu about the winner for the festival, "and the winner for this year's food festival is...class 3-A! You guys have won the prize for a private dance party! Congratulations class 3-A and of course everyone has done a wonderful job, so good job U.A students and enjoy the rest of your lunch!" Nezu's distinct laughter was heard echoing through the speakers until a shuffle was heard as someone else apparently turned the microphone off. Shota sweatdropped at his boss' strange behavior, though his attention soon went to Mela as he kissed her, "good job, thanks to the special props, we won." Shota smirked down at Mela, recalling her adorable outfit on Saturday. Speaking of which...she still had the outfit...he may need to ask her for it heh.

Patting her head, Shota headed out to the gym as he told her, "good luck against Kurotsuki. Don't hold back now just because you two are friends." Shota waved over his shoulder as the bell rang. He needed to open up the gym for them first. As everyone assembled after lunch, Shota called out each pair until he called out the one most were anticipating to see, "Uede and Kurotsuki, you two are up next." As Kurotsuki walked past, Shota called out to her, "if you burn her, you know what will happen." His dark orbs were met with her light blue pair as she simply ignored his comment. Shota held back a sigh as he moved over to watch what would happen. He smirked as each pair were faced with a completely new stage. This stage of theirs liked to change up every so often and so now there was a single raised platform in the center with water surrounding it. Whoever was knocked out the ring would end up quite soaked.

As the fight commenced, Shota was a bit impressed to see that both were staying their ground, but the two were not using their quirks it seemed like and so the fighting was just a fist fight to put it in simple terms. Shota watched as the fight continued past ten minutes until suddenly Mela made a sudden movement and the last he saw of the two was just the loud splashing sound. He blinked a few times before calling it a draw. Thankfully, their matches were the second to last and so they were all rather quickly dismissed before Shota went out in search of Mela. He saw how she was soaked in her p.e uniform. Shota licked his lips as he smirked deciding that she will need some help drying off.

Ruka was glad to know Shoto was down for her little plan during her family's party. Her mother was always held on some little platform, but Ruka knew a way to it if she and Shoto worked together. Surely, her step-father would be preoccupied with the guests so as to not notice? Well, only one way to find out and if worse comes to worse, Ruka knew she could count on Mela to create a distraction. The two were always like that during parties anyways hehe. As Ruka fed Shoto a bite of her stew, she took a bite as well, not really noticing how he was staring at her. Noticing that Shoto wasn't eating, Ruka turned to face him, opening her mouth to ask him what was wrong when he kissed her deeply all of a sudden. Ruka let out a sound in surprise but her eyes fluttered shut, happily returning the kiss.

Pulling apart, Ruka tilted her head curiously over at Shoto, taken by surprise his sudden kiss. Smiling, she poked his cheek as she murmured out, "what was that all about hm? Haven't had enough?" She teased him lightly before pecking his cheek. Nudging him playfully, Ruka resumed eating and the two spent a rather lovely evening together. The food was delicious and the company was even better. Ruka couldn't have asked for a better night out hehe. For the rest of the night, Ruka enjoyed her time with Shoto, even taking a nice evening walk after dinner...with some ice cream. Because ice cream is yummy hehe.

~ Monday already? Give me back my weekend! ~

Sunday went by rather smoothly, Ruka has yet to have heard from or seen Yukito and so she was hoping she got rid of him. Yes, go back to Tokyo and she'll just have to suffer one more meeting with him until the next party which she will not know when, but that was the good part. She won't have to see Yukito for that long, though depending on his random mood swings...he may just swing on by especially now that she and Mela had boyfriends? Oh boy, Yukito is going to be appearing more often than Ruka would like to imagine. Holding back a sigh, Ruka went to school with Mela as the two talked about the festival to the party coming up soon. Ruka let out a sigh as she wondered how that'll turn out, "I promised Shoto that I'll try to let him meet my mother...so if anything goes down, I'm counting on you to do the usual." She smiled over at Mela, knowing she can trust Mela to have her back no matter what. The two were partners in crime during the parties after all. Hehe.

Arriving to class, Ruka took her seat and happily greeted Shoto, getting more accustomed to his public display of affections. At first, most of her classmates were surprised when Shoto suddenly hugged her or kissed her, but now they were quite used to the sight of it. Ruka happily hugged Shoto and held back a laugh when he tickled her forehead with his kisses, Ruka leaned back as Aizawa entered. She looked ahead and spotted Denki, a small frown crossing her features for a moment as she knew she needed to talk to Denki, but every time she tried, someone came in the way. Eijiro once just picked Denki up and walked off while even Kyouka began to talk to her all of a sudden. Ruka didn't understand what was going on, but she missed the friendly smile of Denki and his cheerfulness.

As Aizawa began to list out the new pairs, Ruka was quite curious as to who she would get. When her name was called last along with Mela's, the two shared a look as Ruka grinned. Well, that is quite a lovely surprise. Talking with Mela a bit about how fun it's going to be, Ruka went to eat lunch with Shoto as Mela headed off probably to Aizawa. Ruka didn't want to know what the two did during lunch, but as long as Mela wasn't sad or crying, Ruka won't go killing him off. Not yet, at least. Sitting down with Shoto at their usual spot, Ruka happily talked to him about the pairings for this week, "I can't believe I got paired up with Mela, it's going to be so fun...but..." Ruka paused as her brows scrunched, "it's going to be troublesome at the same time." Mela knew her way too well. If anyone can predict her next movements, it would be Mela and the same went for the brunette. Ruka knew Mela like the back of her hand. She couldn't help but wonder how their match will turn out this afternoon.

As lunch was nearly over, the speakers came to life as Principal Nezu's voice rang out clearly even out into the courtyard. Ruka jumped in surprise, hanging onto Shoto in her surprise. As she listened to the announcement, she looked over at Shoto, her smile widening as she leaned over and kissed him happily, "we won! We won Shoto!" Ruka happily told her boyfriend as they were given quite a luxury prize as well. Their own personal dance? She couldn't help but wonder how that'll turn out. Maybe it'll be on a cruise ship? Oh, that'll be lovely! First, she was paired off with Mela and now they were given the news of their victory? This day couldn't have turned out any better hehe. Happily, Ruka led Shoto to the locker rooms where she parted with him to get changed and ready for the match.

After getting changed, Ruka stood next to Shoto as the matches commenced. The changing stage caught her off guard and it made her wonder what sort of stage she and Mela would get, but it seemed like their match would not be starting any time soon. Ruka cheered for Shoto when he went up against Izuku. While for Denki and Katsuki, Ruka was at a loss, though she did cheer for Denki. Katsuki seemed quite pissed about her dissing him like always. Ah, hopefully, he doesn't demand some training time or something in return for all the insults she secretly heaped onto him. Ehe. When her name was finally called along with Mela's, Ruka gave Shoto's hand a quick squeeze, smiling over at him as she told him with a wink, "cheer for me, okay~?"

Heading down, Ruka met Mela on the stage but as the two stood there, the stage began to change where it rose a bit higher than the other stages and then was that water she heard? Peering over the edge, Ruka noted there to be water surrounding the stage. Well...guess they were definitely out if they fell in the water, right? Facing off against Mela, Ruka was hesitant about using her flames when Mela brought up a good idea. Smirking, Ruka nodded her head as she got into position, "not using our quirks huh, that sounds like a fun challenge. Let's do our best, Mel!" With that said, Ruka ran forward to Mela, using her leg to swipe at Mela's legs before pushing herself off the ground while aiming a kick to her face. The two continued their little back and forth fist fight, both not using their quirks.

It was too easy to read Mela as she's trained against her best friend on many occasions, but the same could be said about her as her movements were easily predicted by Mela. The two continued on this endless sparring for quite some time when suddenly Mela stopped altogether. Ruka stopped as well as she was confused. What happened? Is she hurt? Ruka opened her mouth to question her best friend when Mela came charging towards her all of a sudden. Ruka was able to catch Mela in her arms, but the sudden dash caught her off guard, "M-Mel!?" Ruka let out in surprise before feeling her foot miss the edge of the stage and it seemed like Mela slipped at the same time, for the two were now plunging straight towards the waters down below. A loud splash sound could be heard before pink and brown broke through the water. Ruka shook her head, giving Mela a pout before laughing. Well, that was fun. As the last of the pairs gone, Ruka changed in the locker room, not minding about her wet hair as she turned her attention to Mela, "well, that's one way out of it." She chuckled as the two knew it would have taken much much longer if they didn't end their match in such a way.

After talking with Mela, something about a fun idea, Ruka headed off to go and see Shoto, promising to hear Mela's idea out no matter what. Squeezing the excess water out of her hair, Ruka's blue eyes swept the area in search of Shoto.

Male waved a hand at his comments. Surely he had to be joking! Her soulmate couldn't suck at baking. She'd have to fix that! Mela decided cookies would be the easiest thing for Shota to learn how to bake. Even kids could make them and were often the first thing one was taught how to bake in school. If he could burn these, Mela might be impressed. Or break up with him heh. But she would happily show him all the tricks up her sleeves, though she also knew he didn't like sweets much, if he was going to date her, he still had to bake her something on occasion, surely. She laughed at his comment about paying in other ways. "Oh sexual favors huh?" She teased him. "I might just take Mi instead." Mela enjoyed the evening. It was quiet and undisturbed by city things like railroad crossings and horn and smoke. It was like she and Shota found their own private oasis.

- - Time to get back to work, helloooo Monday! -

"Oooooh really? If you need a distraction, count on me!" Mela smiled to Ruka as they headed off to UA. She would help Ruka in any way. Though Mela had to wonder what Ruka had planned. Mela loved plans and was terribly curious~

Once in her seat, Mela thought about how she hadn't seen Yagi tending to the grounds as usual. He was gone again? Her heart sank. It slowly dawned on her what had happened. It was all making sense! All Might didn't like her, no it was Yagi! Tagi-san liked her and had used All Might had some silly ruse and then she said all that stuff to him. All Might wasn't avoiding her, no way, he was a fan of hers. But she began to dread the idea of having hurt Yagi's feelings unintentionally. She had no idea what to do! This was out of some K-Drama! Mela let out a small sigh, not even noticing Shota enter. If Yagi liked her and Mela told him she was seeing someone else, she had to figure he didn't want to be around her anymore. Her heart then sank all the way down to UA's basement. Urgh. She felt terrible.

Snapping her head up when she heard her and Ruka's name, she smiled to Ruka. That would be fun! She already tuned him out when he went on to explain the arena. Blah blah blah, whatever. Mela was thinking about what she and Ruka could do. They'd have center stage! Mela was already picturing it now, yes, lights, the cheering of the crowd, their cute outfits, it would all be so wonderful! When lunch rolled around, Mela was a bit quiet as she thought about Yagi more, not sure what to do. She didn't want to ask Shota though, he'd probably try to have Yagi fired. At the mention of their class winning a dance, her attention snapped back into focused. Oh wow! Today was just slinging surprises left and right! She kissed Shota back and then smacked him upside the head. "I'm hardly a prop." She smirked.

Her ex called her a table and she wasn't fond of that assessment. Lunch was nice and quiet as Mela found herself focused on the task of fighting Ruka. They had fought a few other times but it always wound up with the same results. It was always a tie. Still, she would do her best. She smiled to Shota and nodded as they parted way briefly so she could change and he could get things ready. As the battles progressed and the arena changed, from spikes to...was that lava, she had to wonder who designed this arena disguised as a trap. Standing in front of Ruka finally, Mela gave her friend a wave from across the arena. "Hi Rukie-chan, funny running into you here!" She laughed. "Let's not use our quirks, 'kaaay~?" Mela thought that would keep things fair.

The two friends exchanged a few attacks but they were rather even in strength and speed. Both of them knew each other too well and it was like shadow boxing in a way, predicting one another's moves and counter moves. As they jumped back after another stalemate of dual punches and blocks. Mela pouted. This wasn't going anywhere so she decided for a sneak attack. Mela stood there and then ran at Ruka as she would before doing a big gymnastics flip but instead, she glomped Ruka and held onto her tightly. "Rukaaaa~" She laughed as they tumbled over into the water. So cold! She had to imagine Aizawa just dropping ice cubes into it for good measure. She laughed as she brushed some of Ruka's hair out of her face. If they were both going to lose, why not make a splash?

Both got out as Mela spotted a few classmates eyeing them. Their uniforms were soaking wet, as were the girls from head to two. Mela helped Ruka ring out her hair as they watched the final fight, the sunlight offering them some relief. Though Mela did just cling to Ruka from behind for some warmth. They went off to change and find a way to dry off as well as warm up. Though with Ruka's quirk, Mela was sure she'd be okay. Though she didn't even imagine Shoto would be able to help Ruka in this instance. "I have a plan for Saturday. It's a sexy plan that'll leave everyone speechless! I'll tell you tonight over dinner!" Mela said excitedly to Ruka as she headed out of the locker room, her teeth still chattering slightly though that may have to do with how damp her hair was still.

The more she looked, the less she saw of both All Might and Yagi. It was becoming to worry Mela greatly. Should she call someone? What if something had happened to Yagi? If her theory was right that he liked her and it wasn't All Might, she wanted to talk to him about it. She had no idea her theory was so close yet so far. Mela folded her arms across her chest as she hugged her blazer to herself. There was no need to bother Shota-kun with this though, she'd figure it out on her own. If Yagi stopped being her friend, she'd be quite heartbroken. She had never had anyone this upset at her before and she thought she'd need to track him down. Maybe All Might could shed some light on this matter? Mela waved to Momo and Tenya as they headed back home, looking so nice and dry.

Shoto knew he would have to do something about this small, well big actually, revelation he had. He had to hope that Ruka would feel the same way but he also didn't want her to reciprocate unless she meant it. Shoto worried if he did say he loved her, would it make things weird between them? No, if you loved someone, you should tell them regardless of the consequences. He could hear her say it back but he wasn't looking for that. He just wanted to share his heart with her and let he know that she had it, if she wanted it. Shoto just gave Ruka a knowing smile as they finished their meal. They then went out for some ice cream. Ruka had strawberry and Shoto decided to go with mango sorbet. He thought this evening was really nice and he hoped he could look forward to even more. They had done a lot today in meeting his mother and in her sharing a bit about her own mother. He was beyond lucky for having Ruka in his life, able to share such things together.

- What? Monday again? How did this happen? - -

Waking up, Shoto took stock of the weekend. He had done a lot and learned a lot. He was looking forward to seeing Ruka this morning, thinking he may finally have the courage to tell her how he felt, he didn't want to blurt it out so casually. He wanted it to be special and have some meaning and explanation. But the more he thought about Ruka, the more certain he was. This had to be love. He arrived to class and leaned over Ruka to hug her from behind, kissing along her forehead as he looked over to see Denki burying his face in a book in the next row in front of them. Shoto paid him not mind. Kaminari lost, he'd get over it eventually. When Aizawa entered, he placed one finally kiss atop her head before Shoto took his seat beside his girlfriend.

At the pairs, Shoto could see Izuku flinch. He and Deku fought hard in the first year at the sport's festival and since then, they had been a good rival for the other, going back and forth, urging the other to keep pushing himself. This week would only add to their steadfast determination. Shoto was looking forward to this. He knew the match could tip in either direction but he still liked to believe he'd win. As lunch rolled around, he got up and took Ruka's hand as he walked out. They passed Denki who was suddenly joined by Kyoka, seeming to pull the blond's attention away from him and Ruka and onto the punk rock girl. Denki seemed nervous as he and Kyoka went off to eat in the cafeteria. Shoto settled down with Ruka in their usual hiding spot, away from annoying distractions.

Come lunch, Ruka would always have his full attention. They ate and shared gentle kisses before the topic of this afternoon's event came up. "You and Uede-san? Surely you've fought before at your old school and in your free time?" Though perhaps that was the issue itself, they were too familiar with one another and probably held back even without realizing it. When he heard they had won a dance, he frowned. Seriously? All that for a dance!? Not even extra training or something actually useful? UA was very...strange at times. Had he known the prize was a dance, he wouldn't have tried to win at all. But he also had to think a dance with Ruka, wouldn't be too bad. But then again their classmates would be there too so he'd once again have to keep an eye on them while still trying to enjoy his date.s

"Y-yes we did win." Shoto rubbed his neck, his other arm around her tightly. Though Principal Nezu's cackling only made him all the more unsettled. Why did he sound like Nezu was losing his mind? Shoto didn't dwell on it as the lunch period closed. He kissed Ruka before they began to head for the gym. In the back of his head, he had to wonder what this dance would be like but also what their new gym would be like as well. He was sure they were going to be kept on their toes. Shoto changed with the others as he watched Denki and Eijiro out of the corner of his eye, Eijiro was giving Shoto a rather nasty look while Denki still looked like someone had reported his cat into UA and then dropped it off the building. Shoto had to wonder if he should approach the blond but decided it wasn't worth the trouble.

For Shoto's match, he lost against Izuku but that only strengthened his determination to get better. This week would be tough for the boys. As Denki fought, he heard Ruka cheer for him but also give Bakugo a hard time. Normally he'd love to hear her cheer him on but it only resulted in Denki getting distracted, his heart aching every time she called out his name. He lost and Eijiro was quick to comfort his friend, seeing the boy begin to relieve the horrible moment as Denki described it. Eijiro tried to remind his friend he got a girl's number from the food festival but by this point, Denki was back to looking so defeated. As Shoto watched Mela and Ruka fight, he folded his arms, curious about how their fighting styles played out. They were an even match without quirks but how would that change come Saturday?

When a loud splash could be seen, Shoto's eyes narrowed. He hoped Ruka was okay. It looked like a hard it into the erm moat around the arena. What was water supposed to do for the heroes-in-training huh? He eyed the two shivering girls and thankfully they were all dismissed for the day. Shoto was glad Mela was with Ruka, he knew their training this week would be fun and he didn't have to worry about some guy getting too close to his Ruka. Nope. He quickly changed and dried off using his quirk before he looked for Ruka. He was sure she needed some help warming up and maybe even drying off that long hair of hers. Spotting her, he took her hand and headed off to an empty classroom on the first floor of the secondary building of the school, a place no one really went.

Shoto closed the door behind him and pulled Ruka into his arms, "You did quite well but you got a little wet I see." He kissed her, running his hands through her wet hair. "I could help." Or make it worse heh.

How long has it been since he's last seen her? Yagi's usually bright blue eyes were dull as he stood in the teacher's office of U.A, Principal Nezu has called him to talk about the things he's been missing though he has been here for the food festival. Maintaining a smile and cheerfully speaking to the students and the people visiting was hard, it was a lot harder than when he fights against villains. But shouldn't he be used to just keeping up a font and smiling? Yes, he was as All Might and even as Yagi, but somehow smiling has become a lot more difficult than he last remembered. Every time he would pass by the courtyard, all Yagi can recall is Mela and her sweet smile. She really was like a present dropped from the sky, but now he realized it was all just a dream. He knew it wasn't possible, to begin with, yet he let the feelings grow and now he faces the consequences of it. Sighing, Yagi looked up at the sky, wondering if he can possibly get through this. No, he must overcome this...that's what heroes do, right?

Shota couldn't help but shake his head as he saw Mela just tackle Kurotsuki and the two tumbled into the waters. He couldn't help but wonder why they even did that. It was a tie, obviously, but he could imagine if the two used their quirks, things would be a lot more different. Come Saturday for their rematch, Shota wondered how it'll turn out especially if Mela is given her bow to use. Sure, Kurotsuki's quirk can be dangerous, but Mela knew Kurotsuki well enough to evade it, but can Kurotsuki evade Mela's arrows was the question. In all honesty, Shota was curious about their upcoming match on Saturday. Oh, if he only knew what was actually in store for them all.

Once the matches were over with and Shota dismissed the class, he walked outside and waited for Mela. He hid his devious smirk as he thought she would need some extra warming up, he saw how she clung onto Ruka for the rest of the time at the gym. He frowned, wishing it was him she clung on to instead. Well, as long as she wasn't clinging onto Iida or Midoriya, Shota won't complain. As she came out, Shota spotted her easily with how damp her hair was. She looked quite cold if anything. Seeing her hugging herself, Shota approached her from behind, pulling her into his arms as he looked down at her, his hand running through her damp locks, "I see you're still quite cold...care for something to warm you up?" He smirked down at her as he dragged her off to his office, thanking Principal Nezu for the various offices each staff can use as their own. He opened the door for her before locking it behind it, he gestured to the sleeping bag laying on his couch as he went to go make her something warm to drink, "do you want coffee, tea...or me?" He turned to smirk at her deviously.

- - -

She emerged from the water soaking from head to toe. Her long pink hair was clinging onto her while her gym clothes acted like a second layer of skin. Ruka shook her head, trying to shake off the excess water as the two girls got out. Well, that was refreshing in a sense. Ruka wasn't mad at all if anything she was laughing with Mela. The two girls used each other as a heat source while they waited to be released so they can go dry off. Ruka was very tempted to ask Shoto to help her dry off, but she knew that was just her wanting to be spoiled. She could easily dry herself off, though her quirk can be a double edge sword at times. Boo.

As they were in the locker rooms changing, Ruka listened to Mela and smiled as she promised to hear out what Mela had in store. Though the word sexy made her want to re-think it, no, she'll listen and probably agree to whatever Mela has planned. As they left, Ruka spotted Denki up ahead and as much as she wanted to go and speak to him, she began to realize that perhaps he didn't want to speak to her. What she's done, she wasn't entirely sure, but ever since he walked in on her and Shoto that one time during lunch, well she hasn't really spoken to him since. Ruka frowned, wondering what happened between them. Weren't they good friends since before? Heck, he was the first person she's met and spoke with when she moved over to this town and he was the first to speak to her and guide her around school when she first transferred...he was there for her on many occasions yet now he felt very far away. Ruka couldn't help but wonder though every time she would see Eijiro or Kyoka around him. Hm...something was up, but what?

Ruka was so lost in thought that she didn't notice Shoto approaching her until she felt someone take hold of her hand and drag her off somewhere. Startled, she looked over to see Shoto and smiled happily. Whenever Shoto was around her, Ruka lost all sense of sadness and was always smiling. Was that a bad thing that she could easily forget her worries and just focus on him? She wasn't really sure, but for now, she'll just focus on him. "Shoto? What's wrong?" Ruka called after him as she noted them to be going into the secondary building. Hm? Did he have a surprise for her or something? As they entered a classroom, Ruka placed her hands on his chest as she looked up at him, she didn't want to get him wet too, what if they both caught a cold? But upon feeling his lips on her's and those words, Ruka could feel herself already warming up. Eyes twinkling with mischief, Ruka kissed Shoto once more as she asked him, "oh? And how can you help me?" She smirked up at him.

It was rather nice of Shota to offer her a place to get warm, as well as something to drink. She was so lucky to have such a thoughtful and selfless boyfriend looking after her well being eheh. After making sure she wasn't going to pneumonia or frostbite or anything like that, Mela kept Shota company as he tended to some paperwork. "It's interesting you paired me and Ru-ka." Mela noted as she rested her chin against Shota's shoulder as she leaned against his back, her arms wrapped around him as he sat at his desk. Considering how close she was getting to her partners, she thought he'd pair her with a fellow female much sooner. Not that it would really change anything heh.

Mela couldn't explain it but he looked quite sexy just grading papers. Of course when it came to hers, she gave him plenty of advice for grading hers, she was such a helpful girlfriend. As it got a bit late, Mela decided she needed to get going and meet up with Ruka, finding herself quite hungry for some reason. She kissed Shota goodbye and told him not to work too hard, but she knew he didn't need her words of concern to take it easy. She figured he'd go on patrol or go home to Mi. Lucky cat. Mela grabbed a bus back downtown and headed back to her apartment. After a quick shower and a change into a pair of comfortable shorts and an oversized tee shirt, she went over to bug Ruka.

The two girls were about to dig into dinner when there was a knock. Mela ran to get it and without hesitation, pulled it open to welcome their guest. "Rukie, it's Yukito-kuuuun~" She cheered as she ushered him inside. This day was getting better and better! Yukito gave her a kiss on the nose and walked over to do the same to Ruka who looked less than thrilled that Mela had let in such a pesky guest. Yukito explained he still had work to do in the area and would be around to keep them company. The girls talked about the food festival and how well it had done, resulting in a win for them though Mela guessed the news already made the papers. Anything UA related, often made headlines.

After dinner, Mela grabbed some cookies and brought them over so they could make ice cream sandwiches. "Oh oh oh! I almost forgot. We're gonna be fighting each other!" She told Yukito, waving her arms. "You have to make us something super cute and sexy because I have a plan!" Mela grinned. Yes, her plans were always top notch! Her eyes then went back to Ruka, her new partner in crime. They would make beautiful art together come Saturday. "We don't have a lot of time but I want us to put on a show. I can choreograph the whole thing. With your beautiful fire and my acrobatics and arrows, we are gonna be showstoppers." Mela's eyes were ablaze as she could picture it now.

Thanks to her background in both dance and ice skating, Mela knew what people wanted to see. "And for whatever reason guys seem to love seeing two girls together. Nee Yukito-kun?" It didn't make sense to Mela as to why guys enjoyed girls together, be it having sex or just kissing or anything in between. If the girls were lesbians then there was no way the guy would even be acknowledged right? What was the point of watching two girls getting so close? Shaking her head, she was pretty comfortable with herself and decided it might be all the more teasing if she and RUka gave the class a bit of a surprise. "I was thinking we could end it with one hell of a kiss! Our boyfriends would love that!"

Of course Mela was quite heterosexual but she had no qualms kissing girls since it didn't really mean or do anything for her. Plus Ruka was so adorable and awesome, who wouldn't want to cuddle up and kiss her? Hehe! Mela figured since she and Ruka were going to tie yet again, they may as well take advantage of having a captive audience. Did Mela honestly think Shota would enjoy this? Yes, sure. But she also had to think perhaps he may protest to her kissing anyone. Not just guys. As the trio began to brainstorm, Mela was pleased with some of the male input from Yukito and after about another two hours, Mela went back to her place while Yukito stayed with Ruka for the night. Lucky!

- A Wild Tuesday Appears! -

Heading to school, Mela had a permanent smile on her face, quite happy to have the next few days to get their rematch ready for eager eyes come Saturday. Everyone in 3-A would see just how amazing her and Ruka were. Just because you were a hero, didn't mean you couldn't perform a little too right? Sitting down, Mela gave a smirk to Shota as he came in to go over how they'd be sticking to private rooms for this week's training period. Good, no one could see what she and Ruka were up to until it was perfect. Her eyes followed the man as he headed back out once lectures started up. At lunch, Mela went to go find Yagi but her search had been unsuccessful so she headed off to bother Shota.

After some cuddling and munching on the lunch Ruka had made today, she headed off to train. She wanted to tell Shota to not see her with Ruka but she knew if she said that, he'd only be more curious so she hoped if he did ever swing by, it wouldn't look too suspicious. She kissed him lightly before going to change. Looking at her P.E. uniform, she hoped Yukito was working his magic on outfits that would really catch 3-A's attention. But she didn't doubt his skill for a moment. If anything, Mela just wished she knew the color scheme and general flow of the outfit but for now she and Ruka could work on their performance and placement on the stage, er arena.

After some hard work on both their parts, the best friends went down to go change, time seemed to just fly by when you were working so so hard on something so so fun hehe. Mela nudged Ruka as they headed out of the locker room, seeing Todoroki up ahead by where they changed shoes before exiting UA. "Looks like someone is looking for yooou~" Mela teased. "Don't you dare, spoil surprise!" Mela whispered into her ear as she folded her arms, wondering what it was Todoroki wanted with Ruka. She needed to invite herself along to one of their outings or lunch dates. Yes, she wanted to see firsthand how this troublesome boy treated her Ruka. But another day.

After changing into her shoes, she headed out to note Ruka and Shoto were already gone. Hm. Her eyes lit up as she spotted someone she hadn't seen in what, a week. Smiling, she decided All Might would know how Yagi was doing and if in fact he was upset with her or avoiding her or sick. So many worries flooded her mind as she approached All Might. "Hey, All Might. Long time no see! I missed you at the festival." She said, hooking her arms around her back as she tilted her head. "But maybe that's a bit selfish of me. I know you're busy with the other classes." Mela considered. Still, she did feel a small pang in her chest at the thought of him being too busy for her.

"Did you hear we won?" Surely he caught the announcement yesterday during lunch or heard it from one of the other teachers. She guessed it was a feat without All Might hanging around. But that didn't mean she didn't miss his support and company. Even Yagi had been nowhere to be seen. She had hoped he'd swing by and she could serve him something sweet for all of his hard work tending to the campus grounds. "You know, I was hoping to wait on Yagi-san but I guess he stayed home." She frowned. "Have you heard from him at all? I'm really worried about him." Just because she was seeing Shota didn't mean she wouldn't still hang out with others.

Mela fell quiet for a moment. Here she was once again burdening someone else with her problems. All Might obviously didn't have time for her silly issues. He was a pro hero. He had er professional issues to fix. But she couldn't help but want to reach out to him. She cared quite a lot about what was on his mind. "I just keep thinking about our last conversation and I feel like something he said doesn't quite add up. He said someone liked me but I think he might be that someone and I feel terrible for what I had said." If Yagi liked her and she just told him she was with someone else, she couldn't imagine how embarrassing and horrible he must have felt.

"I feel like I acted really insensitively and he doesn't want to hang out anymore. I guess I can't really blame him if he somehow had feelings for me...I know I have no right to really come to you with any of this...but is there any way you might be able to tell him how sorry I am?" She fidgeted with her fingers behind her. "Just because I'm dating someone doesn't mean I don't still care about Yagi-san. And you of course." She tried to smile but her anxiety was preventing it to turn into a real one. She hoped All Might had some time to talk but a part of her was expecting him to have other things to tend to. As annoyed as Shota may be about talking about this, she may have to go to him.

:ghostv: - :ghost: - :ghostv:

Having done a thorough job of ensuring his girlfriend was warm and dry after her interesting fight, Shoto felt like satisfied. In many ways heh. He made sure she was okay before he grabbed her hand and headed out of the classroom oh so innocently. He pulled her to him and kissed her deeply, arms circling around her waist. He just couldn't get enough of her it seemed. The two went to grab something quick from the cafeteria as they had gotten a bit peckish in their attempt at warming each other up. Shoto got himself some tea for her and Ruka as well as some ice cream. A bit of hot and cold could hit the spot heh.

The pair sat together and talked about the week ahead of them. Shoto wanted to figure out Ruka's plan against Mela. Surely Ruka could just burn up the arrows but he also considered Mela could use her other tricks to prevent Ruka from evading or burning all of her hits. It was an interesting dynamic to consider, much like his and Midoriya's. He and Ruka fed each other ice cream and enjoyed one another, not wanting to part so quickly. Every so often he could feel the burning stares of female classmates who wandered by as if not believing their eyes that Todoroki was actually with someone and feeding her ice cream.

Though he wouldn't admit it because it wasn't his style, he found it a bit amusing to see how some were so curious about his relationship status. While it was true that during his time at UA, he hadn't really dated anyone, he had gotten a number of offers. But no one really stood out to him, nor did Shoto feel like he wanted to get to know anyone too deeply. But all of that had changed when he had encountered Ruka Kurotsuki and it was clear the female population was just going to have to get used to the person Shoto had selected as someone he could connect to and devote his time to.

They headed to the bus stop, pinkies entwined, Shoto felt the sudden urge to blurt out hos much she meant to him. He held back though, not wanting to just act too spontaneously. When he told her, he wanted things to be perfect. He wanted to make sure they were in a suitable setting for his feelings to reach her without fail. He kissed her once more as she went on her bus. He took his own going a different route. While on the bus, he called his mother and told her about how he was really feeling and that things just felt 'right' between the two of them. His mother was excited for him and wished him good luck with the week ahead of him.

Arriving home, Shoto removed his shoes and went to go work on homework. For a moment he felt this odd feeling in his stomach. It was unsettling. He had no idea Yukito was still hanging around. If he did know the suave troublemaker was inviting himself over to Ruka's for dinner and helping her plan some crazy spectacle, he would have gone right over and taken Ruka far far away. But all Shoto could do was study until the sun set and then he made dinner for himself and his father. Shoto knew he'd have to tell him about how things were with Ruka but every time he tried to open his mouth, it became difficult to say anything at all.

His nerves were rooted in his father and his history. He was by no means ashamed of Ruka or her quirk. He just didn't know what his father would say or do. Shoto felt he hardly knew the man he lived with. Their relationship was improving but it was baby steps and Shoto often felt alone in the house even when his father was around. He made a simple dish of rice and grilled eel before he sat down to eat alone. He had to wonder what Ruka was up to. She was probably with Mela enjoying dinner as well. Shoto glanced down to his bowl and sent Ruka a good night text as he cleaned up the kitchen upon finishing his dinner.

- Tuesday is here today, gone tomorrow -

Sleep for Shoto was quite enjoyable. He dreamed that he and Ruka were back on a beach, enjoying one another without a care in the world. He dreamed he had been able to freeze the tide and go out and explore it with Ruka, seeing all the fish frozen in place before she used her fire to burn a portion of the frozen ocean for them to dip their feet in. Interestingly enough they were more happy and not at all worried about freezing as well. He wasn't sure what to make of it but he enjoyed seeing Ruka in that pink swimsuit of hers. Of course reality was far better than any dream that teased him.

He pulled together a breakfast of toast and nori, it wasn't much but he wanted to save room for lunch. Heading over to UA, he spent his time on his phone, reading about the news and thinking about the many things in the near future. So their prize had been a dance and then he was also going to meet Ruka's family at her party in Tokyo. There was a lot to be nervous about. But he wasn't nervous in a bad way. Shoto was excited for it all, even if it meant having to dress up and be polite, he was fine with that because he'd have Ruka by his side. A woman he was falling in love with.

Arriving at school, Shoto spent his extra time in the library alone, mostly looking through books of poetry, trying to find a way that described his feelings. When the bell rang, he made his way back down to the classroom and gave Ruka a tender kiss on the head before he sat down. He felt glad he could do that, unlike say Aizawa-sensei. He tried not to dwell too much on the personal affairs of his teacher though. The lectures continued though Shoto didn't take a lot of notes, mostly occupied with the girl beside him. He wasn't sure if reciting a poem would be the best route to go. It was probably cheesy right? And a bit inauthentic if he was using someone else's words.

For lunch, Shoto enjoyed the comfort and company of Ruka. Sitting together they chatted about various topics. He was grateful to have this privacy with her and have no one come bothering them. But thankfully people had enough common sense of leave them alone or provoke their wrath. Of course they wouldn't attack or threaten a student, that would be very bad but thankfully Shtoto nor Ruka had to share the other with anyone else. Once the bell rang, Shoto kissed Ruka. "Your bento was very good, thank you." He felt quite spoiled. He left to go get ready for training, hoping Ruka's own session was productive as well.

Once changed, Shoto met up with Midoriya and the two practiced hand to hand without the use of their quirks but it was more for Midoriya than anything else. The green haired boy had gotten better after hurting himself with Uede. Midoriya had to learn how and when to use certain amounts of power it seemed. Even after all this time at UA, he still struggled with his strength. After training conclused for the day, he went to take a quick shower. As he was drying himself off, he overheard Kirishima talking to Kaminari about going on some errand for him but already Shoto was tuning them both out. He had plans of his own to focus on.

Perhaps it was the thought of love that was making Shoto feel a bit wistful but he wanted to take Ruka out. Hurrying out near the locker area by the main entry of the school, he spotted Ruka coming down with Mela. He waited for her and offered her his arm. Kissing her temple, he led Ruka outside into the sun. "I was thinking we'd go down to the bookstore and find something new to read. And then maybe the go to park or...our cafe?" Yes, their cafe heh. They got on the bus and he sat beside Ruka, feeling quite happy with how the day had been treating them both. Once off the bus, they walked to the store and he held it open for her, his hand brushing along the small of her back.

"I'd like to buy you something, if anything happens to catch your eye." He said as they wandered over to the new arrivals section. He looked to Ruka, knowing a book may be a way for her to relax a bit when it came to her upcoming match against Uede. He believed Ruka would win but at the same time, he couldn't discount Uede or talk too badly about Ruka's best friend. "What about reading a mystery novel together?" He suggested to Ruka. It could be a book club for two and it might be fun to speculate together. "It might be a way to get our mind off our rematches?" He picked one up. There were some romance novels displayed as well as a few non-fiction works. "Though if you'd like, we can pick another book." He smiled, not too picky as long as she was happy with the choice.

Golden and lavender eyes stared up at UA's massive exterior. Ayumi Amagawa gripped her metal broom. It was solid metal, painted a deep gunmetal grey but it was detailed so it looked very real, as if it a real broom had just been coated in liquid. The broom's bristles looked defined enough to touch and expect softness and even the handle looked like it had a faint wooden grain. It did not. Using her levitation quick, she got on her broom and decided to take a closer look around. She flew around the buildings and then up and around, enjoying a bird's eye view. Ayumi had on a pair of black leggings and a black robe.

Atop her brown head of hair was a slanted black witches hat which of course went along with her hero name: Witchya. Ayumi hailed from Kyoto and had graduated from school a few years ago. Since then she had been training at an agency in Kyoto but since landing the job of a lifetime, she uprooted herself and was glad to be able to teach young heroes. Flying down, Ayumi landed back in front of the main building and let herself in. She found where the Principal was and was given her schedule for teaching. She would helping the hero class for all three years but it would be staggered.

Her interest was in the current graduating class. They would require the bulk of her attention she decided. Ayumi walked along, carrying her broom by her side like it was but a simple briefcase. A few girls seemed to recognize her but for the most part, Ayumi made her way to the lounge without issue. The 24 year old was glad there weren't many students as the day had just ended. It would give her ample time to get to know the place before she started teaching tomorrow. It was short notice but she wasn't about to question her luck in landing this position.

Using the key card she had just been issued, Ayumi let herself inside and saw a man with a long tidal wave of hair and glasses talking to a man with long messy black hair. Ayumi walked over to them, figuring them to be teachers as well. They clearly knew one another. "Good afternoon." She greeted. "My name is Amagawa Ayumi and I'll be teaching here starting tomorrow. I was told I could find an Aizawa Shota and get a tour of some sort?" She thought back to what the small rodent-dog-hybrid had told her. She hoped she got the name down. She hadn't had time to write anything down as she was told a bunch of facts and stories.

Ayumi's bob of brown hair shined in the light and one might be able to make the assessment that she looked like an older Uede-san. A bit taller. Ayumi gave them a small polite smile. "I just flew in from Kyoto." He gave a small smile, gesturing to her broom. That comment would never get old in her mind. "I'll be teaching a hero's course called Philosophy and it's Relation to Hero Law. I know it's a bit wordy but there you go." She gave a small shrug. Ayumi believed it was important for new heroes, like herself to understand their own morals and accept they couldn't save anyone and that if they captured someone, it was to injure, not kill or do unnecessary harm to villains. Laws were in place so justice could be served. It was out of a hero's hand to judge, jury and executioner.

During the morning part of classes, Denki didn't take any notes at all though it wasn't because he was bored. It was because he felt his heart shriveling away. Here he was in the same room as Ruka, just feet away and yet he may as well be on the moon. He looked off, not sure what to do anymore. Yes, he missed spending time with her but at the same time, how could he face her knowing she found comfort in Todoroki's arms and not his? How could Denki feel like a man if he didn't even have a chance to show that he could take care of Ruka too, that he could keep her safe and warm?

Putting his heart aside for a moment, he did miss spending time with her as a friend. He went to the movie alone this past weekend. Eijiro and Kyoka and even Deku offered to tag along but Denki wanted to go alone. Originally he wanted to go with Ruka but if he couldn't have her, then he resigned himself to be alone in the darkened theater. It was what he probably deserved and would have to get used to. Part of him was sure Ruka didn't miss him though, not if she was always with Todoroki. Was there a place for someone like Denki in her life? He didn't have the fortitude to look as they headed off to eat lunch together. Again.

After training, which Denki hated for obvious reasons. He was changing when Eijiro came over and got a bit too close for comfort. "Hey, put some pants on." Denki huffed. Denki was halfway done getting dressed when his friend approached him, trying to snap a towel at him. Denki was not in the mood. He just wanted to go back to bed and die a slow painful death. The ache in his heart was constant and he had to accept his fate. "You gotta go get something for me down at the local deli. I called in an order but I made plans so you gotta get it. It's all paid for." "What? No way. I'm not your errand boy!" Denki didn't want to go outside. He'd probably run into other lovey dovey couples. Argh, his heart couldn't tale it.

"Just pick up the damn order and then go back into your cave of sadness and junk food wrappers." Eijiro said as he finally got some underwear. Of course Eijiro had texted Namie and told her he'd be sending Denki her way. He had also ordered two sandwiches, one for each of them to enjoy together. He hated seeing the blond so depressed and he knew Denki needed to just put himself out there. He wasn't going to find love in his dorm. He'd find a great girl, someone who looked at him with the same adoring eyes. Denki grumbled as he headed out of the locker room and towards the bus stop.

Spotting Ruka and Todoroki, he ducked behind a few people and stood near the back of the bus, his heart shaking. They got off and soon he did too. He headed into the small deli and walked over to the counter, getting the order but the man directed him to the table where he saw a girl who looked oddly familiar. That hair? He gulped as he took the tray of two sandwiches, drinks and chips and sat down in front of her. What was going on here? He had no idea. "You're the lollipop girl from the food festival." He realized he hadn't gotten her name. "I'm uh Kaminari Denki!" But why did he had two sandwiches and why wasn't the order to-go like Eijrio said it would be? He had to many questions! "Umm a-are you hungry?" He said, a bit nervous as he looked down at their food. They may as well eat together right? He felt glad he had taken a shower following training now heh.

After having made sure his darling Mela was all nice and warm, Shota begrudgingly began to do his paperwork, the only plus side was having Mela beside him to keep him sane and well alive. As he worked on her paper, he found her little comments here and there to be amusing, he was almost tempted to just give her a bad grade just to see her reaction, but nah. He wants to live. Heh. As he worked on the papers, going through them in a lazy manner, he was half-listening to whatever Mela was rambling on about. "Hm? Why wouldn't I? Eventually, you'll be going against everyone in the class, it was only a matter of time when you will face her is all." Okay, so he'll probably make sure she never goes against Mineta, but that was for different reasons. He stopped working on the papers to look over at Mela, "why? Is there a problem about going against her? Though the lesson for you in this matchup would be that at times you'll be faced with an ultimatum. Would you save the people? Or are you going to let your feelings get the best of you?" Yes, it was a rather cruel thing to say, but one day Mela may face someone who was once her ally but is now an enemy. Life had its ways of being cruel after all.

Once he walked Mela to the bus stop, Shota decided to buy some food before heading home. Glancing up at the sky, Shota deemed that he had a few hours to get some sleep before he began his patrol for the night. After feeding Mi, he got a few hours of sleep before he headed off into the night to do his rounds. A hero's job never ends after all. Hah. As he was watching over the city perched on the edge of a building, Shota's head snapped up as if he sensed something bad, really bad. He felt his eye twitch as he had an inkling of a feeling that it wasn't the last of Yukito that he'll be seeing and that just made him want to head over to Mela's and make sure she was fine. Of course, she would be fine, but he wanted to be sure she was only with Ruka Kurotsuki and not the other Kurotsuki. Holding back a sigh, Shota decided that all Kurotsukis' were a pain.

~ Ah it's Tuesday...? Why not Friday! ~

Come the next morning, Shota went to work like always, his eyes bloodshot from staying up later than he expected. He found a few villains who were attempting to rob a store and well he had his fun of the night he supposed. Though it wasn't exactly the fun he wanted. Sigh. After greeting his students for the morning, Shota headed off to get some shut-eye before lunch, he had a feeling Mela would be barging through his office once again. Not that he minded of course. As he expected, Mela came over and the two enjoyed a peaceful lunch though near the end Hizashi had to ruin things. Shota will eventually have to let the other staff know about his relationship with Mela, but was it mandatory to tell them? He can't recall that being part of the rules so he'll just let it happen if it happens. If not, then well they can wonder on their own.

For most of the morning, All Might was busy doing some hero work as he went around town helping others. Though come near lunchtime, he went back to U.A. spending his time in the office as he got the jist of what he should expect for this week. Oh, so the students of class 3-A won a dance? He can just imagine how excited the girls must be though, at the thought of Mela dressing up and standing next to Aizawa-kun, a painful throb made itself known in his chest. Holding back a sigh, All Might kept a positive smile on his face as he began to walk around campus, greeting any and all students of his. He didn't have to the heart to see Aizawa-kun or Mela just yet, but he knew he can't keep running away forever.

As he was looking about the flowers at the front, he frowned a bit as he hasn't been taking care of the flowers, something he wanted to scold himself for. There was no one else to blame for his lack of attendance at U.A. As he was deciding to go and get changed to water the flowers, an all too familiar voice had stopped him altogether. All Might slowly turned around to face Mela. Ah, Mela. His heart ached quite terribly so, but he kept his smile on his face as he greeted her, "Ah, Uede Shoujo! How have you been?" Though his smile nearly faltered as she mentioned Yagi to him...well it was him in a sense. The words that kept pouring out of her mouth was like a stab to his heart each and every time. He kept his smile on despite wanting to just frown and run off. No, he must not.

"I have heard your class won, congratulations Uede Shoujo! You must all be very excited about that, yes?" He paused as he had no clue how to address the issue but he must, "as for Yagi-kun...you must not apologize for anything Uede Shoujo. You have done nothing wrong and I'm sure he just needs some more time that is all..." yes, some more time is much needed. Lifting a hand up, All Might was about to reach over and ruffle her hair like he's done multiple times before...but he stopped. Dropping his hand to the side, he gave her a cheerful smile as he told her, "but if it puts you at ease, I'll be sure to tell Yagi-kun, alright?" Ah, now how can he get away from this situation? Though at the same time, he was quite happy. It was a conflicting moment for him, but All Might knew how much he's been missing her presence and now that she was here in front of him, he was happy. Sad, but happy.

---

As after-school finally hit him, Shota was more than ready to leave work. Though before he can go and see what Mela was up to, he was held back by Hizashi. Shota looked over at his blonde friend in annoyance, deciding that all blondes are just annoying. Period. Hizashi was asking him about happy hour or something and that he's been hiding something from the blonde. Hm? Was it about Mela? As Shota opened his mouth to tell Hizashi that he wasn't hiding anything, the door to the lounge opened up. Both males stopped speaking as they turned to face someone...new? Shota felt a bit on edge as it wasn't every day someone can come waltzing into the teachers' lounge without a key card. He kept an impassive face on as he heard her speak up. Wait...she was looking for him?

Wait...so she was going to be a new teacher and hold on did she just say tour? Shota could feel his eye twitching as Hizashi spoke up, "oh? You're a new teacher you say? Oi Shotaaaa! Did you hear anything about this in the morning meeting? Ah, you're looking for this guy by the way!" Hizashi gestured to Shota standing beside him and left after introducing himself. Shota held back a sigh as he felt annoyed. Extremely so. Why was Principal Nezu using him as some sort of tour guide? He was probably the least suitable for such a task. Holding back another sigh, Shota faced the woman, noting her to resemble Mela in a way, no no. He shouldn't think like that, he'll get skewered for even having such a thought.

"Aizawa Shota would be me. Well...guess it's nice to meet you. Please follow along then." It was short, simple and concise. He didn't really see a need to get friendly nor did he find the desire to do so. He was just annoyed that he had another job to do before he can be free from work. He was positive Nezu had something against him, but what? "You'll find that most students in the hero course are quite...different and probably a lot more to handle than those in the general ed...just a warning." Hopefully, she can handle his students of class 3-A, they were known to be monsters even among those in the hero course. Now that there was the addition of Mela and Kurotsuki, his class got even more notorious. He was proud of them in a way. Heh.

As the two left the classroom to fill themselves up with actual food, Ruka spent her time rather joyfully with Shoto. Every moment she was with him, every second just counted and it made her so happy. She felt filled with warmth whenever she would look at him and whenever he would look her way. His every touch and words made her really happy. It was strange to feel this happy, to feel this content. Her small world used to only have Mela and the occasional Yukito, but no one else. She didn't want others in her life, she was scared to get close, but upon her arrival at U.A things just seemed to have changed like a storm. She smiled to herself as she happily took a bite of the ice cream, a part of her smirking at the girls that stared oh so enviously over at them. That's right girls, get used to this because she is not going to be letting this one go. Shoto is her's, all her's.

After parting ways with her lover, Ruka headed back home where she cooked up a big dinner for Mela. She wanted to give her friend a good meal in case that damn Aizawa hasn't been feeding Mela well. As dinner approached, Ruka has changed into a comfortable black sweater, not finding pants to be a necessity when it was just her and Mela, though at the door knocking, Ruka felt a shiver go down her spine and not a good one either. Before Ruka can stop Mela, her friend has already opened the door and in came Yukito. Her heart sank as Ruka's face paled slightly, her happy week has just gone down in flames. Begrudgingly, Ruka let Yukito join them for dinner as it became painfully obvious to her that he will be staying here for the week as he goes about his job. Ruka held back from slamming her head onto the table as Mela began to tell Yukito about their upcoming match. When her dear best friend mentioned a new costume, Ruka's head shot up as she caught Yukito's smirk. She growled lowly in warning but knew it to be a futile attempt. She couldn't help but wonder how Shoto will react to Yukito still being around. Er, she'll tell him tomorrow...or maybe when Yukito is gone. She didn't want to stress Shoto out or anything like that. Though as Yukito made himself comfortable after dinner by pulling her onto his lap, Ruka had half the mind to just burn this house down along with Yukito, it was a good thing Mela was there and that this place was fireproof.

She lifted a brow as she listened to Mela's idea, though at the idea of getting to tease Shoto in a new way, her eyes lit up. Well, if it was Mela who would be her partner, Ruka had no qualms as she agreed to the idea. Though when Yukito joined in with ideas of his own, Ruka silently shrank back as she sipped on her tea, letting the two discuss things as she'll just go with whatever they have planned. Sigh, where can she run to if she was stuck at her own house with them?

~ Finally Tuesday!...but he's still here *cries* ~

After getting rid of Yukito for the day, Ruka went to school with Mela, already feeling drained. She decided she'll let Shoto know later...not now. For now, all she wanted was to be in his arms and enjoy his comforting presence. In the morning, the classes were bearable only because of the good morning kiss she received from Shoto. Her hand finding their way to grip onto Shoto's during class from time to time as she wrote down notes with her other hand. Once lunch arrived, Ruka was more than happy to head out with Shoto, just wanting to relax and not think about anything else.

Smiling, Ruka happily kissed him back as she told him, "I'll gladly cook you lunch anytime~ Have fun with Midoriya-san!" She left to go get changed and have her own fun time with Mela. Ruka has been missing her friend so this week would be a nice week...even if Yukito was lingering around. Thankfully he hasn't shown up to school and so Ruka was able to get some good practice down with Mela, though the things Mela was telling her to do was strange, Ruka will just go along with it. She would only do this because it was Mela. Anyone else, she would probably just burn them while refusing.

After their nice training session...if it can even be called that, Ruka showered and changed. As she was heading out with Mela to the front, she spotted Shoto and smiled happily. Ignoring her friend's teasing words, Ruka merely waved at Mela as she told her, "yeah yeah, I won't tell him. Have fun." She watched Mela bounce away before making her way over to Shoto. Holding his hand, she greeted him as her eyes lit up at the prospect of new books, "oh I would love that! I think the store owner said they'll be coming out with a new strawberry menu hehe." Her eyes shined in excitement as they headed off to the bookstore first. Looking around, Ruka was contemplating what she should get when Shoto suggested that they read a mystery novel together. The idea of the two sharing their opinions and speculations of the mystery, Ruka eagerly agreed as she said, "oh that sounds so fun! I would love that!" So after the two purchased the books, they headed off to the cafe. Once putting in their order, Ruka decided it was high time she told Shoto, "um so Shoto...I just wanted to let you know that I currently have a guest staying at my place..."

Taking a sip of her tea, she paused before continuing, "its uh Yukito. He apparently has some more work over here so it seems like he'll be staying here for the week or maybe until the party." Placing a hand over his, Ruka continued, "but it should be fine! It seems like he's really busy so he's gone for most of the day and I know for his kind of work, he usually has to go out for dinners so yeah...but I just wanted to let you know, okay?" She smiled over at him, knowing that whenever Yukito was involved, Shoto had a bit of a different expression going on. She loved his aggressive side, but she didn't want him to be upset or anything like that. "Of course I can just stay over at your place to get away from him~" Ruka teasingly added but she let out a small laugh as it was just a joke. Smiling, Ruka pulled his hand to her as she lightly kissed it while saying, "I was hoping to go see your mother before we head off to the party and whatnot...I hope you don't mind?" She's been wanting to cook Rei some of her food and share with her some recipes. If Rei liked her cooking, Ruka will gladly stop by and cook for her more and more hehe.

It was a normal day so far, but after getting a little interesting text, Namie will now say today was a good day. Soft teal hues stared out the window of the deli as she sat by a table, enjoying her time alone. That boy was interesting, to say the least and she couldn't help but wonder if he was now smiling? He looked a lot more handsome and quite adorable when he did smile and so Namie wished he was feeling better now. But to get a text from the little red-head, she couldn't help but wonder in what way can she be of assistance? Though she was glad to get to meet him once more.

As she was sitting there patiently, a new yet familiar voice called out to her. Looking up, Namie's smile widened as he was here once again. Oh and look, he even brought her food again hehe. Lollipop girl? Namie giggled behind her hand as she found that to be quite an endearing nickname, should she change her hero name to that? Her eyes were lit with amusement as she gestured for him to take a seat as she nodded her head at his greeting, "it's a pleasure to finally meet you officially, Kaminari-kun. My name is Amamiya Namie." Her eyes shined happily as she noted him to be looking a bit better, but somehow the spark was not there in his eyes. She happily took a sandwich as she told him, "oh why thank you. I was actually getting quite hungry." Taking a bite of her sandwich, Namie observed him from across her before she spoke up, "so why the long face? Is something bothering you?" She tilted her head to the side with a concerned frown adorning her face. Reaching a hand out, she placed it atop his as she told him, "I know you don't really know me...but if there's anything I can do, just let me know okay? I'll listen to all your problems and blow it away hehe." Lightly poking his cheek, Namie tilted her head to the side as she smiled at him, "so won't you smile for me?" She liked his smile though it was brief when she last saw it, she wanted to see more of it.

Although Shota wanted her to take the fight against Ruka seriously, it just wasn't in the cards. She was already familiar with Ruka's tactics and fiery force. While Shota had a point that you shouldn't let your emotions hinder your ability in battle but this wasn't one of those situations. Mela and Ruka knew one another too well for a decisive match to play out. But Mela was going to enjoy the extra time with her friend and do her best to give everyone a good show, a fine display of their skills. Mela was quite glad to have run into All Might, figuring Shota may be busy with other things this afternoon. Plus, they didn't have to spend all of their time together right? It was nice to leave him wanting more hehe.

"Ahh I'm pretty good." Yep, this week was already looking to be another good one. "It was so amazing we won, I guess everyone loved our idea." She smiled, thinking back to how many people, both men and women, they served. "You should have visited." She couldn't help but insist. She still had the outfit so she could always bring it to show him what she looked like. That wasn't weird right? Yeah it probably was so she kept the idea to herself. When All Might said Yagi needed more time, she frowned. So...he did like her. How would that change things between them? She honestly had no idea. Why hadn't he said or done anything sooner? If he, would she and Shota be together now...?

"I see." She put a hand to her lips, trying to consider how Yagi may feel. Would it be easier if she just gave him some space? But she really missed him. She supposed, he didn't want to be around her though. Could she do anything or did it just take time? "Thank you...I apologize for putting you in the middle of all this." She rubbed her head, still feeling pretty bad about this mess. "Do you think I'd be able to treat you to something? It seems like our last few attempts have been cut unexpectedly short." Thanks to Yukito and Aizawa hehe. "Of course I understand if you're busy. Otherwise I was just gonna head home...." She trailed off.

A strawberry themes menu? Probably to close out the summer season huh? Shoto had to wonder how Ruka did it with finding all of these strawberry themed dishes and places. It was quite extraordinary. He was glad she liked the idea of reading a new book together. While he liked the series she had shared he wanted to share something new for them both and enjoy that excitement together. Plus, he thought it would be a good way to see how the other thought about a problem and how it could be solved. He really wanted to know how she ticked and approached issues. He was quite fascinated by how Ruka's mind worked in different settings.

They each bought a copy and headed off to their cafe. They took a seat outside and Shoto picked out a simple vanilla cake which had basil and lemon flavors. He looked to Ruka when she mentioned a guest. Like who? A stray cat or something? His stomach shifted uncomfortably when she said it was Yukito. He was still around? God, what would it take to get rid of the guy? Though it was very good be kept in the loop and for that Shoto was grateful. But he wasn't happy with the sleeping arrangements, unsure what they would do. He hoped Yukito stayed on the couch or on the balcony heh. "Thank you for telling me." He said, sighing. He wasn't happy but he had to accept it.

What was wrong with a hotel though? Money was clearly no issue for the guy. Heck, Shoto would pay for the guy to sleep in a bed miles and miles away from his Ruka. He smirked at the thought of her coming over to his house for safe refuge. Why not Uede's? Well no that wouldn't do much good. "If you ever need to come over, I'd welcome you in half a heartbeat." He smiled as she kissed his hand cutely. "Oh? Yes I'm sure we can visit her before the party, I know she'd like that very much." Shoto nodded as he used his other hand to sip his tea. It filled him with joy to know Ruka had enjoyed the visit. "What day do you think would work for you? She's pretty free heh. Were you thinking of cooking?" He smiled a little.

Ayumi had to note the loud blond was quite...excitable like a puppy. Cute. So far, UA was turning out to be a very strange place but she was still happy to be a part of it now. "Thanks." She just said to the man before he left them alone. The guy was a tad eccentric it seemed and this Aizawa fellow seemed to be quite the opposite, more aloof and a bit guarded perhaps. He wasn't too bad on the eyes. "Likewise." She nodded, wanting to get things started as she followed, keeping pace by his side as he led her along the corridors of UA. "I see. I think I can handle myself, thanks." She said. Though she had only a year of teaching experience, she felt pretty confident in herself.

Despite appearances, she didn't let anyone walk over her and she wouldn't treat these wannabe heroes with kid gloves just because they were in their final year. If anything, she was sure they needed the most discipline and arduous tasks compared to all others at UA. She was shown around the basic areas. There wasn't anything too different than what she had been told to expect. The only thing outwardly impressive was the size and money at UA's disposal. And it was secure. After too many attacks, the school had really stepped up its security. "I haven't had the chance to go over any files of the students. Anything I should be made aware of?"

Unlike the older generation of teachers Ayumi believed in a creative approach and had to stay flexible to account for different styles of learning and comprehension. She was going to teach students about how they wanted to be a hero, what they thought it entailed. There would be many grey areas to explore and she would need to push each individual student to know in the heat of the moment, what to do and how to live with those choices. A hero would have to live with regret more than any other gleaming accolades. She knew that even at her young age. "Aizawa-san, I was also told I could watch your assessments come this Saturday. Is that alright?" She didn't want to step on his toes.

Ama...miya. Amamiya. Cute. Heh. Denki blushed a little, bringing up a finger to scratch his cheek lightly. Somehow this felt like a set up or was he imagining things? No no Eijiro wouldn't do that to him! Or would he? But would this nice, cute girl agree to see him? Why? What was so special about him? Clearly nothing. Urgh. When she reached over for his hand, a few stray sparks sprouted from his hair. His face turned even more red as she then poked his head, trying to get him to open up to her. Was his broken soul that easy to see? Was he such an open book? "Th-thank you Amamiya-san." He said nervously.

"I...er." Could he really just burden her with his problems? That wouldn't be right. A guy was supposed to be strong and self assured. Not broken and useless. His chest began to ache as he pictured Ruka and Shoto off somewhere being cute and he almost sank down from his chair to the floor. No, he had to just move forward right? Ruka would never look at him the way he looked at her. He...wasn't good enough for her and he had to accept that crushing fact. Would he be good enough for anyone? "Well I just found out this girl I liked...likes someone else." What was worse was the way he found out. It was an image that continued to haunt Denki. Them in each other's arms. Urgh. "I know I should move on and I...I guess I want to..."

It felt strange telling all this to a stranger but Eijiro and Kyoka had heard his whining enough. "How do you put your heart back together after being rejected without even being given the chance to try?" He sighed as he opened his bag of chips and munched on them. He kept thinking about what Amamiya had said about his smile. She mentioned it at the food festival. She wanted him to smile? Was his smile really worth much? He blushed a bit, not too sure. But he thought her concern over a nobody like him to be quite sweet. "Oh...do you..have any other lollipops?" He asked, the one she had given him was peach, it was quite good heh. Maybe he'd smile for one of those again?

AiAi AiAi

All Might strained a smile as Mela continued to talk about the food festival. Oh yes, he has been wanting to go and visit her class as he heard it was a maid cafe, plus he's seen it himself her maid outfit, as brief as it may have been it has been more than enough to leave a burning image in his mind. He kept a smile on despite his heart slowly cracking inside of him. Why was she feeling bad for someone like him? Er well, Yagi, which was him but still! Why...why would she be frowning and getting all worried over some nobody like Yagi? All Might may understand when someone gets excited to see him in his hero form, but nobody has ever expressed such an expression when speaking of Yagi. It was strange, yet kind of her to think like so.

Honestly, it hurt him more to know that she really didn't know that Yagi was him. He wasn't in the middle of all this, no he was smack in the center of this tornado that was whirling within him, ripping him piece by piece. Smiling, All Might told her, "ah don't feel sorry Uede Shoujo, I'm sure he wouldn't want you to be sad either." Yes, he doesn't want to see her frown, he much rather see her cheerful side. If he must see her around, then All Might knew that all she needed to do was smile and he would too. Even if it meant that another man was making her happy...then so be it. Yet his own words were so hard to follow! Why must these feelings exist and make things more complicated than necessary?

At her invitation, All Might snapped out of his turmoil as he looked over at her in slight surprise. Ah, yes...they have been disrupted the last few times and the realization that the two were probably off together after made his heart squeeze all the more painfully. Keep smiling, that's all he could tell himself as he rubbed the back of his head, "a-ah, I would love to, but are you sure it's alright Uede Shoujo?" He couldn't help but wonder if she was making him wait, was Aizawa-kun waiting for her right this very moment? "Didn't you need to meet up with your boyfriend?" The words pained him as if he was swallowing shards of glass, but he got it out regardless. Ah stupid! Why must he make things more painful for himself by asking such a stupid question? "You know, on second thought, why not? Let's go! What do you want to do? Are you hungry? Or did you want to go play games?" All Might smiled down at Mela, slowly digging his own grave at this point.

Ruka gave Shoto an apologetic smile as he sighed. Yeah, at least he wasn't too upset about the news of Yukito. Ruka couldn't really understand Yukito despite knowing him for most of her life. He was an enigma, one she wasn't keen on finding out about. Despite all her hateful comments, she still cared for the guy...deep deep deep deep down she cared for him might she say so herself. She knew Yukito was adamant about staying at her place because he was worried for her, he just didn't show his concerns like a normal human being. Ruka let out a sigh herself as she held onto Shoto's hand while her other reached out for her milk tea. Sipping on it, she added, "I wish he would just stay at a hotel, but I know he's just doing this to check up on me...as a child when I lived by myself, he was the only one who came to visit me, ah this was before I met Mela by the way."

Smirking back at him, Ruka nuzzled her cheek against the palm of his hand as she purred out, "oh~? Well, I may just take you up on that offer then hehe." A getaway from her own house was much needed after handling both Mela and Yukito last night. Those two together can be a nightmare for Ruka at times. She loved them both very much, but they were such a handful at times. As their food arrived, Ruka let out a sound as she marveled at the marble strawberry and chocolate mousse that was covered with chocolate shavings and some fruits on top. It was like a little gem! She definitely loved this cafe's new menus, they always had something strawberry flavored! As she took a bite of her food, Ruka looked over at Shoto, glad he agreed to visit his mother together. Ruka held out a bite of her dessert for Shoto to try.

Smiling, Ruka told him, "I was thinking of cooking some food for your mother! Do you know what she likes? Or oh, does she have any food allergies? I wouldn't want to make her sick or anything!" Ruka's face paled as she for one did not want to make anyone sick no less her boyfriend's mother! Looking up thoughtfully, Ruka suggested, "hmm maybe Thursday? Or even tomorrow would do just fine, but what about you? Which day would be best for you?" Never mind her, she can easily adjust her schedule to match Shoto's. She didn't want to bother Shoto and his mother too much, no no she just wanted to visit her. She'll have to visit her before the party on her own though hehe. She's heard stories of how the boyfriend's mother will always dislike the girlfriend, but Ruka can't really see Rei as someone mean. Eh, those were just rumors anyway, right?

Walking around the school, Shota showed her every place that a teacher would need to know, the rest was up for her to just look about herself and learn her way around herself. Honestly, why was he assigned as being the tour guide? Wouldn't Midnight or Present Mic be a better choice? No, if it was to represent U.A, wouldn't All Might be the best choice? But nooo, it was him in the end. He was always doing these extra tasks. He held back a sigh as he glanced over at her. Hmph, well at least she had the guts to be here. If she was some weak-willed person, Shota would have probably told her to just pack up and head home now because she won't survive here. At least she had some sort of backbone.

At her question, Shota stopped out in the courtyard as he looked up at the trees, "hm I suppose you should be wary of my class the most." Shota smirked over at her as he explained, "Bakugou, Todoroki, Midoriya...I'm sure these names have been made quite well known since their first year here. They aren't the only ones you should watch out for...there are two more additions to their class this year and those two are quite the trouble of their own. Uede and Kurotsuki...the latter is a bit more on the dangerous side while the former is...just trouble." He smirked rather fondly as he mentioned Mela. She was definitely a bundled package of trouble, all his though heh.

He waved a hand while telling her, "those names are the ones you should probably keep an eye out the most for. Other than that the one thing that makes U.A so special and different would be their teaching style." Shota smirked as he told her, "here at U.A we have no rules. The teachers are the rules and we teach them what we think they need to know, of course, they are still taught the general education as well, but in their heroics course, anything can go down." At the mention of her coming Saturday, Shota shrugged as he told her, "that's fine by me. You'll probably meet the other staff like All Might while you're there." He honestly didn't care if she came to watch or not. His students better show her what they are made of. He liked to believe that class 3-A was the best among the hero course in all of U.A. Looking over at her as he scratched the back of his head, he asked her, "is there anything else you'd like to see or have any questions?" If not, he'd love to go home and nap now.

Namie nibbled on her sandwich as she looked over at Denki. He was an interesting fellow, his sparks told her that he had quite an electrifying quirk. But his sullen personality doesn't seem to quite match it. She couldn't help but wonder what was wrong though as she was about to tell him that he doesn't need to tell her anything if he doesn't want to, he began to speak up about a girl that he liked. Oh...so that's what's been bothering him. Namie sipped on her drink as she listened to him patiently, her hand still resting atop his as if she was silently encouraging him to tell her. Just pour it all out so she can heal him. She was quite good at doing that. Healing others. Hehe.

As he finished his explanation, Namie took a moment to answer but when she did, she smiled towards him gently, "I see...that's quite a lot to be going through...it's very brave of you to tell someone else this you know that?" Taking a chip, Namie continued, "you know what's amazing about a human body? Mentally or physically?" Grinning, she told him, "anything that is broken, still has the ability to be healed and restored back to its original form, but what's even better is that it turns out stronger than before....so don't be discourage Kaminari-kun. Because you're such a strong person, I'm sure you're going to come out stronger than ever before hehe." Realizing that she was now just rambling, Namie put in her own two cents as she gave him a small sheepish smile, "sorry I tend to ramble at times ehe....but you know, if you really wish to move on, then maybe you should tell the girl how you've felt? It's sort of like a closure to it all?"

Hopefully, she can see him smile again soon. His smiling face brightened her day up quite considerably so. Blinking a few times, Namie let out a small giggle as she reached into her bag before pulling out another lollipop. Winking over at him, she held it out for him as she said, "the payment would be your bright smile please~ Oh and please just call me Namie, Amamiya-san is just too formal for my liking." She smiled brightly over at him, waiting to see the smile she was slowly starting to like seeing. Hm...she might get addicted to that shocking smile. Hehe.

If she knew how much trouble and inner torment she was causing the man in front of her, she'd feel so terrible and do whatever she could to fix things between them. Mela would have one hell of a heart attack when she found out the truth. She would probably just leave UA and never look back, it was the only way to save any dignity she may have left over. Still, she missed spending time with Yagi and while All Might was right, that he may not want her to be so sad, she couldn't help it. She felt responsible for Yagi's heartache. But what could she do? She felt like whatever she did, she may only make things worse for Yagi-san.

Mela found it a bit odd that All Might didn't sound as excited as usual to spend time with her. It was possible he was a bit upset at her because of Yagi. Urgh. She'd have to really work hard to fix things huh? "Ha what?" She couldn't help but scoff. As if she needed to check in with Aizawa whenever she hung out with a friend. She did not answer to him heh. "I don't need to ask for his permission to do things." And if he thought that, then she had a few choice words for Shota when she got him alone. Had Aizawa said something to All Might? Probably not but she may have to get Shota alone and remind him she was a strong independent woman who didn't need any man!

At the question of eating or playing a game, Mela tilted her head. DId have to ask? "I'd love to get something to eat." She said. Where could she take him? "Oooh I heard there's this chop that sells belgian waffles by the train station." She told him as she ushered him off to go downtown and get some. Mela glanced to All Might as they walked, wondering if he was alright. If she couldn't eat lunch with Yagi some days, why not All Might? Though he probably spent the lunch period doing hero stuff. "You have a birthday coming up right? In two weeks or so huh?" She commented. "What can I get you?" She asked him. "And don't say nothing because it has to be something!"

At the idea of Yukito staying with Ruka because he was worried, Shoto couldn't hide his frown. Was there something wrong with Ruka he didn't know about? Was Ruka going through a hard time and Shoto didn't have all the details? Or was Yukito worried for her because of Shoto? He really wasn't sure what to make of her comment but she quickly mentioned how it was something Yukito had done for a long time now. Still, he hoped Ruka would continue to come to him with any issues, big or small. "I worry too but sadly I can't camp in your living room." He joked lightly. Shoto did hope she stopped by, he would enjoy her company greatly and if his father wasn't home...he'd really enjoy it.

Her affectionate purring and words warmed his heart. "Anytime, day or night." He replied, a smile still on his lips. She was quite cute, always full of surprised. Though he wished the surprise wasn't always Yukito, though it was as of late. Hmm. With the arrival of their food, he noticed RUka's looked quite nice. His was more plain but that's how he liked it. It was a more savory cake than sweet but there was some tangy lemon buttercream and the vanilla cake had specks of basil. All in all, he hoped his risk would pay off. "Oh, thank you." He opened his mouth to be fed by his lovely girlfriend. Yes, days like these were like paradise to him.

Taking a bite of his own light cake, he thought it was nice. It was tart and sour with a hint of sweetness. He didn't want to offer some to Ruka mostly because he knew if she had it, it would sully her own taste for her dessert and he'd hate to ruin it for her. "My mother's allergies?" He honestly didn't know. "I...I'm really not sure." The more he thought about it, the more shameful it felt. "I believe her tastes must be similar to mine, I was raised on her food for a while." He considered thoughtfully. "How about tomorrow? Is that too short of notice?" Shoto asked her. "My mother should be free but I'll call tonight and check. I'm sure she'll love to see us again. Well mostly you, she couldn't stop smiling at you." He teased.

Back outside, Ayumi inhaled deeply. The air here felt a bit different than the air back in Kyoto. It felt more alive. She looked over to Shota when he expressed a need for her to wary of his class. Was he proud of that? She rose a brow. "You sound like you're proud of that." She smirked right back. This one, she'd have to watch out for. Those names were vaguely familiar though Ayumi wasn't a big watcher of the UA sport's festival. She would catch highlights on the news but to her, she found it a bit tiresome year after all, the same things taking place. She wished they would change things up. A tournament usually had one person dominating while the others struggled to keep up. It was a bit cruel but so was life.

Aizawa listed of some other names of two students but Ayumi didn't think too much of them. Maybe when she saw first hand, she would be able to understand a bit better. But for now, she was quite happy to keep herself in suspense of these tricky students. If Aizawa couldn't keep them in line, Ayumi would be happy to take quite a swing at them heh. Perhaps not literally. "I quite enjoy a bit of trouble. I'm guessing you do too." She hummed as he went on to explain how teachers operated at UA. It was obvious this guy had numerous tricks up his sleeves. She coud just get that vibe from him.

No rules huh? That was very exciting to hear. At the mention of All Might, she gave a small sigh. He was teaching at UA huh? She didn't care much for his bravado. No, he was too old fashioned, rambling about justice and wearing a cape. It was so tacky. But he was strong and gave people hope she knew he wasn't just full of hot air. Ayumi brought up her broom to rest behind her head, her arms hooking around to hold onto it. "I do have one question. What's your quirk?" She looked to Aizawa. "It may be necessary to know the students but it's even more important I know who I'm working with." She didn't feel the need to sugarcoat the question as she smirked to him.

For whatever reason, Denki felt bad about spilling his guts to a cute innocent bystander. He figured girls didn't like hearing about other girls, that it made them jealous or something? But Amamiya didn't seem bothered by his tale of woe. Denki looked up to her when she called him brave? Was he brave? Nooo. No he wasn't. He was wallowing and it felt like he was drowning. He wanted to be back in his dorm but instead he was out in the real world, having a real conversation with a cute girl. Maybe that was brave then? Maybe. She then went on to explain the body could heal itself and get stronger, both in mind and body.

Denki nodded slowly, trying to take her words to heart. This shouldn't defeat him. "No no you're right. I can come out of this." It just didn't feel like it now but maybe in a few months...the pain would lessen? Closure huh? He thought about it, folding his arms. Yeah that could work. "Should I really tell her though? I mean...I might just cause her trouble and she might hate me for even speaking up." He sighed. He found it difficult to imagine what Ruka would say. She'd probably laugh and call him a good prankster and say she had no idea which would only hurt even worse. To think she never even considered him a possible boyfriend. Just that thought made him want to cry.

"But I guess I should, she wouldn't want me to just hold all of this in right?" Denki looked to the girl. When she pulled out the piece of candy, his eyes lit up! "Ah, thank you Namie-san!" He said, correcting himself. He wondered if she might like Miya-san better? Perhaps not. Denki gave her a wide smile as he held out his hand for the lollipop. If this was a way to make him smile, it was a good start right? "And thank you for listening to me. I know I'm not the best company right now but...I really do appreciate it. I really hope we can become good friends." He told her. Yes, he would like to spend more time with this person, she was very sweet and didn't look through him like he was just a ghost. "You don't go to UA do you?" She didn't look familiar.

AiAi AiAi

Ah, how he wished she wasn't taken. Somehow, All Might couldn't help but wish that she was with him instead of Aizawa-kun, but no no...he shouldn't be like that. A hero should not behave like so. Though it made him wonder about Aizawa-kun. Wasn't the dark-haired male also saying something similar to his own reasonings for not having a lover? Yet here she was, walking beside him...Aizawa's lover. Somehow it pained All Might even more so since he viewed Aizawa as a fellow ally and a good friend despite their polar opposite personalities. Maybe it was just him that saw it like that?

Snapping out of his thoughts, All Might nearly jumped when Mela mentioned food. He grinned over at her as he nodded his head, "a-ah sure that sounds good!" Walking alongside her, the two began to head towards downtown, All Might couldn't help but wonder how things will turn out. He held back a sigh as each step brought him a mixture of feelings. He was happy at one moment to just be with Mela but the next it was all gloom for him as he realized who she was seeing. Trying to not put much thought into things, All Might was about to ask Mela how her week has been when she mentioned his birthday.

He blinked a few times in complete surprise. How did she know? Ah, he forgot she was a fan of his, but even then..."ah you are right, but Uede Shoujo...how do you know when my birthday is?" He gave her a small smile but he was quite curious. Did she remember every pro heroes birthdays or was he the special one? It warmed him greatly if it was the latter. Heck, it'll be even better if she knew his birthday but not even Aizawa-kun's! As petty as that may sound...ehe. He rubbed the back of his head as he wanted to tell her that he needed nothing, but if he must ask then..."t-then how about a cupcake? I did like the one you gave me on your first day here!" Though in truth he wanted to say that all he wanted was her beside him. Just having her to himself for one day...was that too much to ask? As they arrived by the train station, All Might looked around, hoping to find the little shop that Mela mentioned to change the subject, "oh, is that the one, M-Uede Shoujo?" All Might pointed at the shop he was looking at.

---

Ever since she's been living in a home by herself, Ruka hasn't had many social interactions with anyone. She probably would have problems dealing with people if she has never met Mela. Though thankfully Yukito and Mela made sure to keep Ruka as human as possible. She really did have them to thank for otherwise she would have become a villain, that was a thought she's entertained for a long time. She giggled at Shoto's joke as she told him, "really? I think you should just camp in my room~" Her eyes shined teasingly over at him as she took another bite of her sweet treat. She half wondered how he would react if she told him of her past moments? Maybe he wouldn't like her if she did though?

Hearing how he was more than welcome for her to come to visit his place, Ruka smiled as she decided that yes, she will have to go and visit him one of these days. The last time she's been to his place was when he was sick and that was when they weren't together...Ruka can only look forward to visiting him hehe. As he looked rather troubled about his own mother's allergies, Ruka placed a hand on his face, making him face her as she told him, "you don't have to feel bad Shoto, if it makes you feel any better, I don't even know what my mother's favorite food is." She gave him a light smile before nodding her head, "sure! Tomorrow after school sounds just fine by me~! Ah, I'll have to stop by the grocery store then, did you want to come along?"

At his little teasing comment, Ruka can only shake her head as she looked over at him flustered, "a-ah no! She was not! Of course, she was more happy to see you!" She stuck her tongue out at him, feeling rather flustered but happy. Eating some more of her cake, Ruka spoke up softly, "ne Shoto...have you ever imagined yourself to be a villain...?" Tilting her head to the side, Ruka honestly told him, "if it wasn't for Mela and Yukito, I'm positive I would have ended up as a villain...but I'm glad I didn't....I wouldn't want to meet you as an enemy hehe." Ruka scratched her cheek lightly as she gave him a small grin, "guess you learned another part of me huh...maybe I should just tell you a bit about me each day." Ruka joked lightly as she took a sip of her tea.

Shota smirked over at Ayumi as he told her, "I'm a teacher, in the end, of course, I'll be proud of my students, they're the first class that I passed on their first day here after all." The other students that he's taught, each one of them failed his initial test so he was quite proud of them. Surely, they would become the heroes that the world needs. Hm? She likes trouble? He held back a sigh as he could already tell she was going to be trouble herself. Maybe he can push her off onto Hizashi? Those two would be great friends, he was sure...then again the image of those two causing trouble and then Midnight joining them...yeah, he'll pass. He smirked over at her as he told her, "there's only one trouble that I like." And that was Mela of course. Not like he'll go telling her that.

He eyed the metal broom that she was holding on to. Just what was that? It looked like it could hurt and it probably was related to her quirk, right? After his explanations, Shota watched her as he waited to see if she had any more questions for him. If not, he would really like to go home. He was tired as it was and now he had to give a new teacher a tour? Why can't Nezu do that himself? Shota held back a grumble as he listened to her question, only to raise an eyebrow at her. Oh? Smirking over at her, Shota told her, "isn't it only polite for you to tell me your quirk before asking for mine?" He forgot that without his signature goggles being shown, most don't recognize who he is. Not that he cared, of course.

Eyeing her broom once more, Shota told her, "if you so badly want to know my quirk, then why don't you just show me your's?" He smirked over at her as he watched her suddenly fly up into the air. Craning his neck back to look up at her, he blinked a few times, did the broom just make her fly or was flying her quirk? Well..one way to find out. Smirking, he activated his quirk, his eyes turning red as she suddenly went flying down to the ground. He'll bet that it was flying or levitating or something along those lines. Holding his arms out, Shota caught her with ease as she came flying straight into his arms. Looking down at her, he smirked as he told her, "I'm guessing you can fly?" He settled her back down onto her feet as he explained to her, "I cancel out the quirks of others." Now can he go home? "Any other questions?" Shota asked her.

Watching him as he began to think things through, Namie found him to be quite interesting. Most guys wouldn't just go spilling out their feelings so openly to another person, no less a girl, right? She quite liked this honest side to him though. Namie was never one to mind hearing other people out, maybe it was because she was a healer type that she was used to hearing others out as well? Or maybe she just liked to listen to others, hehe. She smiled over at Denki as she told him, "I'm sure whoever she is, if she is the one you chose, then she must be an understanding and kind person." She would be lying if she said she wasn't curious to see who this girl is. Whoever she is, Denki seemed to really like her.

Namie nodded her head happily, "yes, I'm sure she wouldn't want you to just keep this all to yourself! I'm sure she will appreciate you for liking her...I can't help but wonder who this lucky girl is though~" Namie added as an afterthought. The way he seemed to be mulling over every little thing for the girl, Namie almost felt envious of the girl for having the full attention of a sweet guy like Denki. Almost. Smile widening as Denki brightened up like a little child as she held out the candy for him to take, she made a mental note to carry around more candies for him, hehe.

Resting her chin onto the palm of her hand, Namie smiled over at Denki as she told him, "I quite enjoy your company and I can imagine it being even more enjoyable if you smile more and more just like that." She giggled slightly as she smiled wider over at him, "I wouldn't mind listening anytime, so feel free to contact me whenever you wish to talk to someone." At the mention of being good friends, Namie looked over at Denki with a mysterious smile gracing her features, "oh yes, I do hope we can be great friends..." or maybe something even more. She wouldn't mind that hehe. As she sipped on her drink, Namie looked over at Denki in slight surprise. Eh? "Ah....you're right. I don't go to U.A., but you'll probably see me more around there hehe." Yes, she'll be hanging around U.A a lot more now for various reasons. Winking over at him, she told him teasingly, "what? Sad to not see me more often~?"

When asked how she knew his birthday, she blushed. "Uhhh." Well she couldn't just say she had a file of notes of him now could she? "Umm I...I just do! It would be pretty poor not to not the birthday of my favorite hero. I probably just...heard it on tv somewhere?" Sorry Shota-kun! Though there was so little information about Eraserhead, she really didn't know when his birthday was but she assumed he'd say something when it was coming up since he'd want a cute present like her and he'd happily unwrap whatever bow she had around her neck for him. Ahem. Mela smiled at the mention of him wanting a cupcake. "I can do that!" She nodded, glad to hear he still thought back to that day with fond memories.

She looked ahead and nodded. "I think that's the place!" She headed over and bought them both a few small crunchy sweet waffles to try. She bought one for Ruka and Yukito to share, she didn't think Shota would like something this sweet. Not unless he was eating off of her.She was quite happy to spend some time with All Might, it was long overdue. "Thanks again for hanging out, I missed you." She said, hitting his arm lightly. After All Might flew her back to her place, she headed inside to work on some homework, sending a text to Shota to see how his afternoon was going without her.

That night, Mela gave Yukito and Ruka the waffle to split, hoping they may feed one another but that sadly didn't happen the way she pictured in her head. So much romance. She'd try again next time! After a wonderful dinner, Mela texted a bit more with Shota, sending a few sexy messages his way before she went to bed. She figured he didn't have to know about spending time with All Might. If he asked what she did, she'd tell him but why offer up information if it didn't matter? Cuddling up with her plushie, she wondered how All Might and Shota would react to her and Ruka's sexy show. Hopefully it would knock em dead.

- Wednesday is the worst word ever -

Come morning, Mela got dressed and headed off to school with Ruka who looked a bit more well rested. Mela had to wonder what she and Todoroki did yesterday but she decided it was better to not ask questions she didn't want to know the answers to. Once in her seat, they were told they were getting a new teacher for their heroes course and they would meet her on Saturday. She would be put into the rotation of other teachers that tended to all the classes at UA. A new teacher? A woman? Mela was excited, mostly because she was always looking for new role models to look up to. Midnight was okay but another one would be even better.

As lunch rolled around, Mela sent Shota a teasing text, saying he'd have to miss her a bit longer, finding it quite funny she hadn't graced him with her cute presence for almost 24 hours now. She thought he might be hunting her down any minute. She decided to head outside to eat though she didn't seek Yagi-san out, deciding to just be around if he wanted to talk, otherwise she would give him the time and space he needed. It felt like she was powerless. Why was she so irresistible? Still, she wasn't going to tell Ruka or Shota any of this, no no they would only make things worse. Mela knew she could handle this on her own.

Much to her surprise, Yagi did approach her. She shared her lunch, mostly just watching him eat because she was mostly just staring at him, half the time wondering if she was imagining things. She resisted the urge to poke him to double check though. They kept things casual and she did her best to just be happy and not pry into things. Maybe this was what was best? Keep things light and casual. She and Ruka rejoined one another for training but it was mostly spent dealing with what Denki had told her. Mela tried to be supportive to Ruka as best she could, being an ear for her best friend. When school ended, Mela headed out, wondering if she could sneak home and send Shota a little picture of what he happened to be missing hehe. She found herself stopped by Yagi which was a surprise. She lingered by some trees at the front gate, hoping he was okay.

If he camped in her room, neither of them would get any sleep heh. Though there were worse things in life to happen and Shoto would be glad to spend all night with his beloved Ruka. He looked up when he felt her hand upon her face. He smiled softly and nodded at her words. He wished he knew more about his mother but he was still learning. And so was Ruka. Hopefully they could make up for all the lost time with their mothers. Shoto would like that very much. "Thank you." He said softly. Ruka was too kind for words sometimes. She truly understood him at a level no one else did.

"Sure, I'd love to go shopping with you." Any time spent with Ruka was time well spent in his mind. Plus he was curious to see what she would make and maybe he'd be able to get some advice or ideas on cooking for his father and himself. Shoto went back to his cake as she said how his mother also wanted to see him. But he was sure his mother would enjoy playing with Ruka's hair just as Mela did supposedly. Shoto was glad to hear she wanted to see more of his mother. He knew Rei would be happy for additional company and who could blame her? Ruka was wonderful company, no matter what they were doing.

If she kept sticking her tongue out, he was bound to take it into his mouth if she wasn't careful. "Hm? No, never." He said. He had never considered such a path for himself. The very thought of turning against the world was very unsettling and hard to imagine for him. "Have you?" He asked. Ruka explained she felt she may have gone down such a path, he leaned over and kissed her when she was done. "I would never let something like that happen to you." He said softly. "And I'm quite happy to learn every little thing about you." He kissed her again. "Don't hold back." He said before he sat back to finish his cake and tea.

The pair went grocery shopping and he headed back with her, carrying most of the bags. He helped her put things away, glad Yukito wasn't back yet. He hated having to look over his shoulder. Soon Shoto left with a long kiss before he went back home, the sun now beginning to set as the days were becoming a tad shorter as summer began to fade from view. Shoto arrived home and saw his father trying to make dinner. He was glad to see Shoto and the two talked briefly about each of their days. It was strange but...Shoto supposed the old man was trying. He headed back to his room following dinner and went to bed after reading the first chapter of the book he and Ruka were now reading together.

- Good morning sunny wednesday -

Getting to class, Shoto settled in his seat and leaned over to kiss Ruka who was already ready for the day to begin. Yes, now that he had a taste of her, he too was ready to start the day. Shoto listened with interest to hear about a new teacher but the thought soon left him as Present Mic came in to yell at them, er teach them about grammar in English. What a chore. Come lunchtime, Shoto was about head off with Ruka as usual when he found a hand on his shoulder preventing him from going anywhere. "What?" Shoto glared to Kirishima who told him that he was needed urgently by Present Mic. And that Eijiro would escort him personally. This made no sense but he couldn't shake the boy's grip as he was steered away from Ruka.

For the rest of lunch, Eijiro dragged him around the school but wouldn't tell him where he was to find Present Mic. Halfway into the hopeless search, Shoto decided this was some lame joke but had no choice to go along with it as Eijiro rambled about the latest movies coming out. Shoto felt like he was being tortured as he had to hope Ruka was eating with Uede at least and not with Bakugo. Soon the bell rang and he went off to take his anger out on Deku during training. Shoto would have to see how Ruka's lunch went. Call it the sixth sense of a soulmate, but something felt a bit off.

With the end of the day finally upon them, Shoto took a long shower, trying to shake this feeling. But they were going to see his mother. Shoto had managed to call her while training with Deku since Eijiro had dragged him around the school four times and wouldn't let him get a word in edgewise or sneak off and escape. He feared he had a bruise from Kirishima's hand. Why was he so forceful with his grip? He headed outside and waited for Ruka, sending her a quick text that he was ready to go when she was, figuring they'd go by her place before taking a cab with the food she had graciously made. He hoped she made enough for him too.

Judging by the way he talked, he had to enjoy his job despite his tone. He was very difficult to read but she was sure given a while, she could read him like an open book. "Ladies first, I suppose? Such a gentleman." She smiled to him. She'd show him hers if he showed her his. Ayumi spun the heavy broom around and hopped on, flying up in the air a few feet above them. Before she could fly off, she suddenly felt her quirk gone, like it had just vanished. She swung her broom out and fell into the arms of the infuriating Aizawa. She settled back onto her feet, her face slightly red but it was only visible if you looked really closely.

Stepping back, she held onto her broom, studying him with a slightly shrewd look before she quickly laughed. "You sweep all the ladies off their feet huh?" She shook her head. "Nope, no more questions here, I think I'll fly away before you curse me again!" She laughed as she hopped back on and flew off with a wave. She had to think her time at UA would be very intriguing. She headed back to her apartment to go finish unpacking. Ayumi would work on her lesson plans tomorrow during a quick breakfast, for now she just wanted to get some rest and worry about everything else later.

- It's a b-e-a-utiful wednesday day -

Heading to UA, taking her only mode of transport, herself, Ayumi landed in the courtyard she had left Aizawa in yesterday afternoon. Ayumi headed inside and found it much more densely populated than before. She found many stares as they noticed her witch's garb and many were already speculating on her quirk but she decided to keep a closed mouth and tell them various lies to keep them on their toes. Ayumi taught a few classes and come lunch, she was rather hungry, having dismissed breakfast in order to deal with her lesson plans. The brunette got something from the cafeteria and found company in Hizashi.

It seemed a slightly peeved looking Aizawa joined them as they ate though Ayumi's focused on Hizashi. When classes resumed, Ayumi spent some more time wandering the school, checking in on the students who were training or studying. It was very interesting to see how each student found his or her own place at UA. When might she find her own place? Ayumi packed up as the day was beginning to wind down. She had her bag which she slung around her broom and walked out and down the stairs toward the exit, just quietly observing at what she saw and what she'd need to teach her classes when it came to doing good and staying true to yourself and the law as well.

Denki was quite grateful for the attention, even if he felt awfully undeserving of it. He considered that Eijiro set all of this up so he'd have to get Namie's number from him which also meant listening to his best friend gloat about being right about getting out of the dorms. Denki finished his lunch as they talked a bit more before he had to get going, knowing the piles of late homework he was behind on, weren't exactly going to finish themselves. But having met Namie and talked to her more, he was feeling a lot better, a lot more wanted, even if she was just a friend. He parted ways as he put the sucker in his mouth, giving her a smile and a wave before he headed back to school.

Since she wasn't a student of UA, he had to wonder how he'd see more of her. Shaking his head, he noted this flavor was cherry. Mm. He found Eijiro in his dorm with Peachy who seemed to act innocent to the whole plan until Denki admitted he had liked meeting with Namie and that she was pretty nice. And cute. Eijiro looked very pleased with his little experiment and said he was glad Denki took a chance and it was a little step. Denki still had to think about how he would talk to Ruka tomorrow. If he didn't do it then, he may never do it and it would eat away at him until he died and Peachy feasted upon his flesh.

- It's time to lay out there on a bright wednesday afternoon -

Waking up for Denki had been quite hard these past few days mostly because he had no will to even crawl out of bed. What was the point if all he was going to do is see his crush with his mortal enemy? Well actually Denki didn't have anything against Todoroki but now he did! The blond got dressed, trying to think positive about the day ahead of him. Namie was right, he had to give himself some closure. It was for the best. Still, he hoped Ruka or Shoto didn't react too badly. He gulped and headed down to get breakfast with the guys, keeping to himself as he tried to gather his thoughts.

Throughout the whole morning, Denki fidgeted in his seat, trying to be the brave person Namie declared him to be. If he just remembered her sweet words of encouragement then he'd be okay. Right? Right. He jumped up and nearly fell out of his seat when the bell for lunch chimed. He saw Eijiro clamp a hand onto Todoroki and push him somewhere else. Now was his chance. Approaching Ruka, he saw Kyoka eyeing the situation, trying to see if she had to intervene. "I uh...Kurotsuki-san..." He was being more formal now. He had to be, this was an important matter. "Can we talk somewhere in private?" He asked her.

They moved to an empty classroom down the hall as Denki fiddled with the buttons on his blazed. Oh god. He was alone with her. Why was he doing this to himself? He couldn't even look at her. He let out a small whine before he finally began to speak. "I...I know we haven't really been speaking...not since um...I found out about you and Todoroki-san." He started to say. His heart was breaking all over again and just revisiting the past was threatening to bring Denki to his knees. He had to stay strong and say what he needed to say. Ruka would have to listen and hopefully not punch or burn him or yell at him. And then her boyfriend might come after him.

At the thought of this backfiring, he found his hands getting a bit more sweaty as bolts flew from his trembling fingers. Breathe Denki. Breathe. "I didn't want to see you because...it hurt too much." He was having such a hard time saying this but he had to press onward. "I really like spending time with you and I had been planning on uh asking you on uh uh a d-date." He swallowed, still looking at his feet. "But I guess I missed my chance. And seeing you with Todoroki-san just, hit me like a truck." He finally looked up to her, his eyes glistening as he held back the tears he had already shed for her time after time.

"I don't know why I am telling you all this but...someone said I needed closure. So I'm sorry if this isn't what you want to hear but...but I think you're amazing and lovely and funny and sweet and so cool." Denki felt his heart threatening to fly out of his chest. "And you with someone else, it hurts. Like a lot. Like, I can't breathe and I can't think straight. It's like I'm being strangled. I wanted to be the one to make you h-happy." Denki heard his voice crack. "But I can't...so I'd like to be still be friends." He said quietly, looking off. "It's gonna take me a while to push these feelings down and lock them away."

"But I just need time to...to figure out how to do that." Denki said sadly, bring up the back of his hand to brush away the tears before they fell. He wasn't going to cry. Not anymore. He hoped. "You probably won't look at me the same way you look at him...But I just wanted to let you know, I could have made you happy too." He took a step back, "I'm sorry for dumping this on you, I understand if you...don't want to be around me anymore but I should g-go." Denki swallowed the lump in his throat as he pulled the door open and ran out, going to take refuge in the boy's restroom.

For the rest of the afternoon, Denki hid in various places before he snuck back to his dorm room and Eijiro joined him, telling his friend how proud he was for laying it all out there. "She and Todoroki may break up. I mean the guy is so boring. He hardly smiles." Eijiro offered. "No no...I don't think that's possible...they look at each other in class or during assessments and it's like...nothing else matters to them." Especially not him. But Denki didn't want to keep crying about something he couldn't change. Ruka and Shoto were soulmates and Denki couldn't compete with that. Eijiro patted his friend's head and decided he may need to invite Namie over for Saturday's assessment, maybe she could tell Denki how good of a job he did and maybe then Denki would understand his progress today. It was a good first step in moving on from Kurotsuki.

~ It's already Wednesday? ~

Yesterday felt almost like a dream for Yagi as he was able to spend the afternoon with Mela. He recalled how she knew his birthday, something that warmed his heart greatly despite her saying that it was from the tv that she heard about it from. But was that really the case? He couldn't help but hope that she actually went through trouble to find out his birthday...it'll warm him up greatly. That was all wishful thinking though as Yagi realized that he was just being a child and not facing his problems. What kind of hero is he if he can't even fix his own problems? She said that she missed him...so that was a good sign...right?

After the morning meeting where he met the new teacher, Yagi was in the courtyard for most of the morning as he spent his time watering the flowers, silently apologizing to them for his negligence, feeling bad for not having taken good care of them for the past week or so. He stared down at the slightly wilted flowers, realizing that he was just like the flowers. He was wilting on the inside and he needed the sun, he needed his ray of sunshine to bring him back to life, but he also realized he will need water to survive. Yagi must not just rely only on his sun to keep him going especially when the sun can hurt him too. He blinked a few times realizing that for him, his sun was Mela...but too much without water would just dry him up. He was starting to make no sense...no no, he must first speak to Mela and get things straightened out. He can't act like this forever.

As lunchtime came around, Yagi spotted Mela and so after mentally prepping himself, he approached her. He thought he could do it, but he ended up not speaking to her much as instead he just ate lunch with her. Time to time he would look over at Mela, trying to find the words to speak to her, but somehow nothing surfaced. As the lunch bell rang, Yagi wanted to just punch himself. In the end, he didn't even really speak much with Mela! What was he doing!? After mentally beating himself up, Yagi decided that this time for sure he will speak to her.

Spotting Mela up ahead, Yagi called out to her after school, "um Mela-chan!...h-hi...um can we speak for a moment?" Yagi gave her a small smile as he walked along the courtyard with her. "U-um well you see...I uh heard things from All Might and well...I'm very sorry about everything!" Yagi bowed to her as he kept his head down, facing the ground, "um I didn't mean to make you sad or anything and uh I don't expect you to want to stay as my friend but..." but what? What did he want out of this? Yagi knew that there was no chance for him when she was happy with another guy, and if not Aizawa then it was All Might right? Sure, he was technically All Might, but she didn't know that and he wasn't sure if she would even believe him if he told her...so if he can't be with her romantically then the least he can do is..."but I wish to still be friends with you!...I-I miss having lunch with you and just chatting with you...i-is that okay?" Yagi looked over at her unsure of how she will take it to this, but it seemed like things were going well with them. He smiled slightly in relief despite the painful tears his heart was currently undergoing. It's okay...this was how things should be. Yes, everything is all good now.

---

Shota was beyond annoyed. Since yesterday, his plans for meeting with Mela has been ruined. He had to stay back and show the new teacher around the school meaning he just lost an opportunity to hang out with Mela and then come evening he had his hero duty to do. Fortunately, he received texts from Mela during the night, though her teasing words did nothing to quell his growing annoyance. Then there was today. Shota went to class 3-A with the announcement for a new teacher in the hero course then he went on as usual before heading back out. He saw Mela briefly so that was okay, but unlike Kurotsuki and Todoroki, he can't just really pull Mela up and kiss her...as much as he would like that. Ugh.

As lunchtime came around, Shota got up, ready to go and grab Mela and spend some time with her. He deserved that much since she'll be busy doing whatever training with Kurotsuki during the afternoon though hopefully, he can spend time with her after school as well, that and this was different. Though as he was walking towards the classroom, he received a text from his girlfriend herself and as he was distracted by her teasing words, he found himself getting dragged away by Hizashi. Shota felt another vein of annoyance pop up as he sat begrudgingly down at the table where Hizashi and the new teacher were eating at. He stayed silent for most of lunch, but inside he was brewing with annoyance. Once school was done with, Shota was going to get his hands on her one way or another.

Though once school was over with, Shota felt him reach the ends of his patience as he found Mela nowhere to be found. Shota held back a sigh as he decided that for today, he will go home early. And that he did though he did leave Mela a text saying that the next time he sees her, he's going to make sure she won't be able to run away. Heh. Needless to say, that night the villains ran far far away from the annoyed Shota. Hey, he needed to get his frustration out one way or another and it was obvious that his girlfriend was going to tease him endlessly for quite some time.

~ S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y ~

As Saturday came rolling around rather quickly, Yagi got up early in the morning deciding that he will need to be there for class 3-A's matches. He has been absent far too long and after having come to terms with his own feelings and wanting to still be near Mela, Yagi decided it was high time he goes and sees them...even if that meant he must see Aizawa-kun with Mela. As he changed into simple blue jeans and a white v-neck shirt, Yagi changed into All Might as he approached the gym where the matches will be held. He spotted Aizawa-kun up ahead and was that the new teacher as well? Raising a hand in greeting, All Might spoke up, "good morning you two! What a wonderful morning to have for some matches! Oh, how I can't wait to see everyone's progress!" His heart ached upon seeing Aizawa, but he maintained his composure despite the need to just avert his gaze. Aizawa-kun can be so scary.

"A-ah I wonder where the students are, oh! I see them! Good morning everyone! Ready to do your best today as well?" He grinned over at each passing student, his gaze settling on Mela whom he greeted as normally as possible, though upon seeing her approach Aizawa-kun, All Might headed inside first as he couldn't bear to see it first hand.

---

It was safe to assume that any and all villains on Wednesday night would regret ever emerging to do bad since Shota was in a bad mood. His mood would go up and down depending on whether he saw Mela or not, but lately, she's been a tease and he's just about had it. He greeted Ayumi and then soon after All Might. He saw the students arriving bit by bit until he landed his eyes on Mela. He gave her a slight smirk before he led them inside. He'll deal with her after the matches. Though of course things won't go that smoothly.

As soon as Shota was able to get one word in with Mela, a rather annoying bug came flying about. What.the.hell? Shota looked over at Yukito annoyed. Why was this guy here? He looked over at Mela questioningly, but he didn't dare ask her why Yukito was here. Somehow...he didn't want to hear the answer to that. Instead, he watched as Yukito handed Mela and Kurotsuki two shiny suitcases and he recalled that Mela has been getting far too many costumes, unlike the other students. It all made sense now...this fool has been giving the girls costumes. That means he works with the company who makes the costumes for the students and that also means the past costumes Mela wore was designed by Yukito...somehow the thought did not sit well with Shota. As the students went off to get changed, Shota felt even more annoyed and frustrated than ever before as he was now stuck with a smiling Yukito, a nervous looking All Might and then the new woman er teacher Ayumi. Letting out a sigh, Shota headed inside the gym just wanting this day to be over with already.

After having some nice tea and cake with Shoto, the two headed off to the grocery store where Ruka decided to make a simple yet cute looking bento for Shoto's mom for their visit tomorrow. As for dinner, Ruka decided on something simple but nutritious like yakisoba. She got some shrimp for Yukito, chicken for Mela and beef for herself. Once she finished shopping, Shoto was kind enough to help her with carrying everything back and even helping her put them away upon reaching her place. She was glad Yukito wasn't around to bother them as Ruka enjoyed her time with Shoto a bit longer. The two talked for a while longer and enjoyed each other's presence until it was time for Shoto to go.

Seeing Shoto, Ruka turned to get ready for dinner and to also make preparations for tomorrow's lunch and also food for Rei. That night after a whole lot of cooking, Ruka received a lovely looking waffle from Mela for dessert but was told to share it with Yukito. Her face fell while Yukito looked more than ready to share before Ruka came back a knife from the kitchen, tearing the waffle in half. Like hell, she'd do what Mela and Yukito wanted. Thankfully, that night went a bit more smoothly and Ruka was able to get some sleep.

Come the next morning, Ruka headed to school, eager to see Shoto and spend some much needed time with him. Every day Yukito is around, Ruka is feeling tired more and more and all she wanted was to be with Shoto. Seeing him in the morning during class, Ruka was happy to sit by him and receive the morning kiss though come lunchtime, well, things didn't go exactly as planned. Ruka blinked a few times as she saw Shoto get dragged away by Eijiro. Eh? Blinking, she was ready to just go out for lunch with Mela or something when she heard a voice call out to her. Turning around, Ruka saw it was Denki to her great surprise. She blinked a few times, expecting Kyoka or someone to get in their way, but it didn't happen.

A frown settled on her lips as Denki did not sound like himself. She nodded her head and followed him out, entering a rather empty classroom. Her mind wandered back to her time with Shoto in an empty classroom. No! Now was not the time to get distracted, Ruka! Shaking her head, Ruka focused back on Denki, "um hey, so what's up?" Ruka spoke up, wondering why he sounded so serious. It's been a while since she was last able to speak to him so it felt strange all of a sudden. Hearing him speak up, Ruka could only listen to him as her eyes slowly widened as each word he spoke sunk into her. What...? So...all this time he's been avoiding her because she was with Shoto? Ruka wanted to ask him why, but as he continued to speak, the answer came out itself.

Watching the statics come off his hand and then when he looked into her eyes, Ruka felt unable to breathe as she stared at his eyes that seemed full of pain and sadness. W-why? Was she the cause for that? Opening her mouth to speak, Ruka was unable to find the words to tell him that she was sorry, but before she can even call out his name, he left. Ruka stood there in the empty classroom unsure. What was that all about...? Denki liked her in such a way...? No...that can't be...but recalling his unshed tears, Ruka felt a pang in her chest. No....he was serious. But why? Why someone like her...? Has she been causing him pain all this time? Why would he want to be friends with her still...? His words of making her happy too...she wondered how she can respond to him. He's made her happy plenty of times, his kind smile and his friendly vibe, it was always a cheerful sight to behold, but the reason why his smile has been gone lately was because of her? Ruka wasn't sure how she can take that.

She found herself just stuck in the empty room by herself for the rest of lunch, unable to find the appetite to eat nor speak to anyone. She just needed to be alone to let his words sink in. Was she at fault though? No, even if the world was against her, Ruka was certain she would still choose to be beside Shoto...was this called love? Ruka felt so confused but her heart still sought Shoto out. Was that wrong of her? As the bell rang, Ruka snapped out of her confusion as if the spell was broken and so she went to practice where she just told Mela what happened. She was confused and needed her friend's help.

After school, Ruka got changed and headed out, receiving a text from Shoto. She smiled slightly as she knew seeing Shoto would make things better. As she met up with Shoto, Ruka couldn't help but hug him, unable to express with words but she just needed his warmth and comfort. Taking in a breath, Ruka decided that she can't let this bother her when she was going to enjoy the rest of the afternoon with Shoto and was even meeting his mother today as well. As they stopped by her place to grab the food, the two headed off to the institution to go and visit Rei. Ruka spent the time with Rei and Shoto with a smile on her face, but at the end of the day, she couldn't hold herself together. After saying goodbye to Rei, Ruka turned to Shoto as they stood by her place. Hanging onto him, she told him what Denki told her and how she felt bad for many reasons. She didn't like being the reason for other people to not smile, but the part she felt most bad about was that even if she hurt others, she still wanted to be with Shoto...was that a bad thing? After talking with Shoto a bit longer, Ruka felt much better and headed inside to get some sleep for the night.

~ Ah, finally it's Saturday ~

As Saturday came by without much of a problem, Ruka found herself heading to U.A with Mela. For today she wore some black jean short shorts and a red babydoll long sleeve top that had a short front but the back fell past her waist to her mid thighs. She then wore some knee-length black boots to match as her hair was styled into a simple ponytail as she was sure Mela was going to style her hair once they changed into their costumes. As the two arrived at school, Ruka headed to the gym where she spotted Shoto...and Denki was there as well. She gave a small smile in greeting to Denki though she was soon bombarded by not Shoto, but Yukito. She felt her eye twitch in annoyance as Yukito happily declared that he was here to cheer her and Mela on while presenting the two girls with their newly made costumes. Holding back a sigh, Ruka took the shiny suitcase so she can get changed into it. Hopefully, it wasn't anything too revealing...though at the appearance of a girl she hasn't seen before, Ruka watched on with curiosity as the green haired girl approached Denki quite happily so. Huh? Who was she? Though Ruka wasn't given much time to wonder as she was dragged off by Mela to get changed. Oh right....the new costume...she let out a sigh this time as she wasn't sure what to expect...not with Yukito looking a bit too pleased as he stood by an annoyed looking Aizawa.

---

Having met Denki and talked with him a bit on Tuesday was interesting for Namie. She was glad to have gotten the chance to speak to him and she can only hope everything went well for him. Perhaps she can ask the little red-head to tell her how things go? Though it seemed like she didn't even have to go calling him up as he texted her first. Namie blinked a few times at the sudden invitation of coming to U.A on Saturday. Oh? Smiling, she happily accepted the invitation as she now had something to look forward to hehe.

Come Saturday, Namie arrived at U.A at the time she was told by Eijiro. Wearing a simple white blouse with a high waisted knee length navy skirt with some shortcut black boots, Namie looked among the students for a certain blonde haired male. Ignoring the curious stares, Namie smiled upon finding the boy, "Kaminari-kun~! Good morning~ Hehe, did I surprise you? I was hoping to see your match today~ You don't mind, do you?" She smiled happily up at him with a grinning Eijiro standing beside the pair. He has already spoken to Aizawa and sensei didn't mind a spectator. Honestly, not much mattered for the dark-haired teacher as his mind was elsewhere.

When Yagi had approached her, Mela listened with a mixture of patience and curiosity. She was glad he wanted to still be friends though she had to wonder if that might be causing him more grief. But she had to trust his judgement and just be a bit careful about what she said about Shota-kun around him. She didn't want to keep rubbing salt in the wound. Though she didn't think Yagi had anything to apologize for. She was the one who felt sorry, somehow this felt like it was her fault. Or at least a good portion of this mess was her fault. But Mela focused on the fact that she could have lunch with Yagi still. Maybe she could alternate with Shota? Sure, he wouldn't mind that, not like he had a choice in the matter. She wasn't going to neglect her friends and she was hoping to pull Ruka away from the terrible Todoroki every so often as well.

And so the rest of the week, Mela had purposefully made her scarce around Shota, just to make him a bit more upset and angry. He could be sooo sexy when he was angry. Not to mention the plan she made with Ruka for this morning's rematch, would only further cause her boyfriend a bit of discomfort. It was clear by his rather blunt messages that his patience was wearing dangerously thin. Mela waved to All Might as they arrived at school. She was always glad to see him. Though Shota looked...a bit frustrated hehe. She noticed a slender woman in a witch's costume. How cute! Before Mela could bound over and say hello to who might be a girl friend of All Might, oh new teacher, haha why would he mind go to girlfriend, Mela was given a new outfit from Yukito. Ah did she not mention to Shota he was still around? Whoopsie.

Mela gave a wave to the teachers plus Yukito and another girl, before she left to get changed with Ruka. "I know it's been a crazy emotional week but it's now the weekend. Time to really space things up and have some fun!" Mela cheered as she saw Ruka's outfit. "Wow. Yours is so cute! I'm actually pretty jealous." She pouted, playing with the fluffy wings on Ruka's outfit. And the skirt was darling as well. Good thing Mela would get to play around with Ruka up close and personal. Mela changed into her own outfit, a mixture, sky blue and gold. Mela had on long tight leather boots that reached her lower thighs. They were blue with gold trim and laces. her dress was blue with strips of sunlight along the hem of her skirt and going up her body and torso. And a peek of white lace could be found along the bottom of her skirt.

The dress was sleeveless and her bust was covered in a soft white fabric to contrast against the blue and gold that dominated her costume. There were thin leather belts that came around her hips and hugged her curves. And she had on white and gold fingerless gloves and a small belt wrapping around her back across her breasts and a small bit of fabric meant to resemble a shield on her right shoulder. Mela thought she looked like a stunning white knight. She headed outside and went over to Yukito give him and hug and kiss on the cheek. If Shoto wasn't watching she would have tried for the lips but she didn't want to cause a scene. Well maybe she did. "Thank you Yukito-kun! Though I see you're back to not giving me pants again." She grinned. Looking to Aizawa in his usual black, she had to laugh at how opposing they appeared.

"You must be Uede, Aizawa-san has told me about you...saying you're quite troublesome." Ayumi spoke up. Mela gave Shota a pout. "I read your file, you can balance, I suppose that's pretty interesting." "What about you?" Mela asked Amagawa. "I'm a witch," Ayumi said simply, tipping her hat toward Mela but not yet saying anything to All Might or Aizawa who knew better. "my quirk is said to originate from Satan himself. I can put curses on people if they don't behave in class. So if Aizawa-san won't bother to discipline his students, I will do so with but a snap of my fingers." Ayumi's tone was very calm and serious as she snapped her fingers. Mela paled. "I'm kidding. I can fly." Ayumi said a second later. Mela let out a sigh before she leaned closer to Ayumi. "Oh! Please take me flying! You'll be my new favorite teacher!" Mela gushed.

Attention shifted to the fights as Denki was first to go up against Bakugo. Mela cheered for Denki of course, feeling quite bad for the guy but also because she didn't want Bakugo to win. But sadly he wound up losing and was covering in a fair amount of first degree burns and bruises. If anything, Denki had to be glad that he hadn't broke any of his bones in the fight. next it was Todoroki and Midoriya and of course Mela cheered for Midoriya who much to her surprise beat Todoroki. Mela ran up and gave the tired looking green haired boy a big hug, knowing how tough that fight was. After a few other rounds, it was the final fight of the morning and the best had been saved for last. Mela grabbed her bow and sling of arrows, it around her back connected to the belt across her breasts. She gave Ruka a thumbs up. "Have fun~!"

With their hard work about to pay off, Mela was giddy, unable to keep a straight face. If only she could have some theme music playing! But Shota may yell at her for goofing off. Ruka started off by hurling large waves of black flames her way. Mela flipped backwards and out of the way as she already knew where Ruka would attack, they had been practicing the staging and blocking. Mela did a flip to the side and held herself up with on hand, well the fingertips of her one hand to be precise. Falling forward, she landed on her feet and rolled and dodged the many flames before she charged at Ruka with a slide, kicking her legs out so she felt onto her back. Mela then pinned her down and rolled her onto her stomach so Mela's chest was pressing against Ruka's back. Mela's legs then hooked around Ruka's, preventing her from kicking or getting away.

Mela could feel eyes upon them now. Oh she fed off the intensity and attention. It was a high unlike any other. She had styled Ruka's hair so it was a long simple braid which Mela used her teeth to get out of her way. The brunette leaned down and licked the side of Ruka's face. "I do love being a little evil." She giggled as she pressed her hips and chest against Ruka, grinding slightly. She nuzzled her face against Ruka's before giving her ear a small bite. She could feel many of the guys, mostly Mineta though she could even hear Todoroki and Deku muttering to themselves. And Mela was almost certain she could feel some sort of tension coming off of poor Aizawa-sensei and All Might. Mela held onto Ruka's hands, twisting them back to rest at her side. "My my my, Ru-ka, it looks like you're all mine~" Mela teased, mostly to irritate Shoto and Shota.

She found this whole thing to be very fun and she had to imagine the male population was enjoying the show as well. She knew Ruka could get out of this hold, it wasn't too tight and they had practiced it about two dozen times already. Soon it would be Ruka's turn to change the tide of this battle but so far, Mela wasn't too sure how they had agreed to end the battle but they could wing it. Mela nipped at her other ear now, "I could do so many things to you but I may not want to even stop~" Mela could hear a few louder groans and noises as she wiggled against Ruka a bit more. "Beg for me to let you go~!"

The visit with his mother had been very nice. It was something both of the Todorokis were looking forward to. Shoto was happy to share his time with two people very close to his heart. The food was vert good and Shoto couldn't help but wonder if he may get to ever come home to such wonderful food and one of Ruka's charming smiles. That would be a very comforting thing to come home to in the future. But would Ruka ever see herself in that kind of a way with him? Without Yukito or Mela? Shoto wanted to be the one to take care of her, the one she turned to. He wouldn't replace the others but he also wanted to have Ruka to himself. But maybe that was too selfish of him. Perhaps it was better to take things one step at a time. He had to enjoy the little moments he had with her and maybe some day, there would be bigger ones for them to share.

He knew the first step toward any possibility of having a future with Ruka, was to tell her that he loved her. His mother was glad for the company but she could tell Ruka was holding something back. She decided to leave it be for now, knowing her son would be able to handle it. Still, as a mother, Rei did worry about those around her and she could tell something had to be eating at Ruka-chan. Shoto headed off once it was time to go, holding onto Ruka's hand. To him it went went. His mother knew what he wanted to do it would just take the right moment to collect his thoughts and tell Ruka everything on his mind and in his heart. Though it was clear he couldn't do it now as he held Ruka outside the facility. He held her close and rubbed her back, kissing the top of her head.

To say Shoto was surprised by Denki's confession was putting it mildly. Sure, Shoto suspected it but to have the guy come out and say such things made him quite annoyed. He didn't see the point in Kaminari saying anything at this point. He had lost and had to move on. Shoto knew this news had upset Ruka and he was hoping to get Kaminari alone and tell him to stop putting his problems on Ruka's shoulders. Shoto didn't want Denki hanging around if it would cause her to feel so guilty or upset. No, Denki had to handle this himself and Shoto thought it was quite cruel for Denki to say anything after the face. It didn't make sense for him to just say how he felt and what...try to be friends when he surely wanted more? No, he didn't trust Kaminari at all and this sudden bit of news made him all the more protective of Ruka and her heart.

Shoto did it best to offer comfort but this kind of advice wasn't in his wheelhouse so he just assured Ruka that Kaminari needed time to accept his and her relationship and that in a few weeks or whenever, things would be back to normal. Even though he didn't like the guy, he couldn't deny the fact they got along well and if Kaminari could keep it in his pants then he'd like Ruka to have more friends. Maybe not ones with a penis but at this point, he wanted Ruka happy. If she felt she could be Kaminari's friend and not feel bad, then why not? But he did remind her that she was under no obligation to be nice or his friend, if knowing how he felt would ruin thing between them. Time was what was needed. Probably. If al those sad love songs were anything to go by.

So many thoughts rattled in his head as he stood on the grass before they ended the gym. He smiled to Ruka but found it impossible to get near her. Argh, Yukito. And was that a camera in his hand? Shoto just went to get changed, in no mood to argue with the guy. Once in his blue attire, he pulled Ruka aside and led her away from everyone else, moving to the side of the gym around the outside. He noted the weight under his feet shifting from one to the other as he breathed in the grass scene. Freshly mowed? He knew the matches were going to start soon so he didn't have any time but he had to tell Ruka how he felt, it was eating away at him. Maybe it was hearing that jerk Denki say something, that made Shoto a bit more anxious but whatever it was, it was going to come out today, this morning...with her in a very cute outfit.

Swallowing, he kept his eyes on her face, determined to get this done right. He had been tossing and turning in bed, trying to get the right words down. From time to time a phrase would hit him and he'd write it down before going back to bed but all of the prep had gone out the window as he took Ruka's hands in his, not wanting to get too physically close. With what she was wearing, he needed his mind to be on her and not what she was wearing. Inhaling through his nose, he offered Ruka a small smile, hoping she wasn't too nervou or he'd get nervous and probably back out of the whole thing. No, a hero could say he loved someone. It would be okay. He hoped it would be okay. "Ruka, I have something I need to tell you." Yes he had to be direct and not beat around the bush with this. He wasn't looking for a reply back but if he got one, he would be so overjoyed.

Shoto took another deep breath and reminded himself of all the wonderful things that Ruka embodied. He hoped she accepted his feelings. He was worried she'd deny them or dismiss them, somehow believing her not worthy. But she was and he wanted to give a part of his heart to her and he hoped she took it and cherished it always heh. "I love you." He said, thinking it best to say that first than just lead her around a wild route of ramblings and risk forgetting what he would say or dragging it out too long which may cause them both too much stress. "I love how worried you are about those around you and how you will fight to keep them safe. I love your strange but cute obsession with strawberries, in fact I'm kind of worried you may love them more than me heh...but um I do love you, everything about you."

"Even the insecurities you try to hide, I love those too. Whenever I look at you, I feel like I'm home. There's no one else I feel I could ever say this to but with you, it feels right. I just didn't want another day to go by withput you knowing how truly loved you are and that I'd do anything for you." He took a hand and placed it on the side of her face, kissing her lovingly, his forehead resting against hers. "I know it's unfair for me to drop this on you before your fight against Uede-er Mela-san but I needed you to know, you have my heart and I don't want you to ever let go." Shoto said. Soon the matches began and he took Ruka's hand inside to go watch the rematches. Shoto felt a lot better having gotten that out and he had no regrets about doing so.

Though when the fight started for Ruka and Mela, he found himself worried for them both. Could a friendship last a tough fight, no one holding anything back? But as Mela had gotten Ruka into a pinned down position, it slowly dawned on him...they weren't really fighting at all. He clenched his jaw. Yukito hanging around meant he hadn't gotten to enjoy his Ruka for a few days since Monday. He felt his urges stirring as he saw his girlfriend being pinned by Mela, bodies tangled together...Mela nibbling on Ruka's ear. He let out a low groan, his heart beginning to race. Ruka was being very bad. And so was Mela-san. Why wasn't someone stopping this? But also...don't.

Ayumi gave All Might and Aizawa mild acknowledgement as she had read the files, she was now focused on seeing the kids get to work and show her what a mere piece of paper couldn't. When the kids came back out in costumes, Ayumi gave a small smirk towards some of them...suddenly a brunette came bounding over. She was awfully chatty with the teachers. How interesting. It dawned on Ayumi this had to be Uede Mela, the girl Aizawa had singled out as being trouble. If anything, Uede reminded Ayumi of a younger her. In a way. She happily gave the girl a scare but then she was asked for a flight. "I'd love to take you up, if you ace your midterm." Ayumi held up a hand. She believed in doing good for students but only if they earned it. Considering how high Mela's test scores were, she didn't see Mela doing anything less than near-perfect work.

The matches so began and she folded her arms as she floated a foot off the ground. She was rather concerned about the tempter on Bakugo but the other teachers seemed like they could handle him. Or so she had to assume. The blond, Kaminari got beaten pretty badly. Perhaps he was distracted for some reason? His heart may not have been in it. Before she could fly him to get healed, it was revealed they had a guest healer with them. Hmm. UA really had poor security didn't they? She wasn't a student, that much she could tell. After the other fights, it was now the final one and Ayumi folded her arms. "Let's see if these are as good as you say." She smirked to Aizawa. But Ayumi found the fight more to be a strange and slightly erotic display than anything else. Ayumi looked to Aizawa, just starting at him. This is what UA taught students?!

"I...er...I can see why you're proud of your students, Aizawa-san...they're very...unique." That was all she could say on the matter as she chewed on her lower lip, finding it to be quite the display of cute and sensual fighting, if one could call it fighting. She let out a snort at him, clearly judging him for this scene in front of them. She shook her head at him. "I can see I have a lot of work ahead of me if I'm going to get these two girls into shape." Ayumi shook her head. Of course even she couldn't deny, it was at least entertaining. And a bit arousing. But she wasn't going to let Aizawa live this down as her first impression of the two transfer students he took pride in.

Denki Kaminari was nervous about his fight. Very very nervous. He did feel a bit happier when he saw Ruka arrive and give him a small smile. yes, baby steps. He waved and gave a cautious smile back, not sure if she was okay with what he said. But he said it and he couldn't take it back. No, he had to move on. Yes. He jumped when he saw Namie. Wow! She came to see him?! He smiled at her, feeling oddly relaxed. "H-hey, Namie-san, thank you for coming." His eyes traveled to Eijiro. "I'm okay. I did what you said and I do feel better. Thank you so much for listening to me." He bowed his head to her. "Of course I don't mind!" But he did wish she came during another week when he wasn't going up against a total psychopath.

His match was first and he headed down to the stage and found himself bombarded with explosions and attacks. Denki used his quirk to keep Bakugo at bay but the boy just pushed through the shocking volts and ended up beating Denki in about five minutes. Hey that was two minutes better than on Monday! Still he was sore and in a bit of pain. Before he could go to Medical Girl, Namie insisted she heal him. He sat down on the grass by the stage as he found himself nervous. He didn't want her to push her quirk just for him but when her hands took hold of him, he found himself sinking into her arms, feeling so much better already. Denki let out a dreamy sigh as the pain was beginning to fade away from him. He felt as though he was enveloped in a warm yet cooling embrace and he could feel the burns going away as well the bruises.

"You're so kind to me, Namie-san." He blushed as he sat back and looked at her. He had never been that close to the girl before. Well maybe with Ruka when she was sick but with Namie, it felt different. Yeah but a good different? "Can I uh take you out to thank you? I really wish I had won for you though. I feel bad you had to see me get my ass kicked." Denki rubbed his neck, for now it seemed like he was able to forget about Ruka. And it gave him such a light feeling to enjoy the company of someone so kind and selfless. "Your healing quirk is so cool. I may just have to get hurt a bit more often if it means you're going to make me better." Of course he wouldn't do that. No no.

To think the week was almost ending and yet she was still being a tease to him. It's been since Monday that he was able to actually have some time with Mela...and since then she's been a tease, running off with only text messages from her being his source of communication. Shota was frustrated in more ways than one and it didn't help that he had to show the new teacher around during the week to having many other tasks to do. Overall, this week has been rough for Shota and it was apparent that his own girlfriend was going to be his downfall as she came waltzing over in her new hero costume which just screamed out cute. He gave Yukito a slight glare, annoyed that she gave Yukito attention but none for him.

He smirked slightly when Ayumi spoke up to Mela about being a problem student. Hey, she was trouble but for him, it was a much-welcomed trouble. Heh. He ignored her pout directed towards him as he was still irritated at her for being so distant for the entire week. It was frustrating yet her sweet and cute texts told him she still thought of him. Or at least just enough to tease him. He began to call out the pars, ignoring Ayumi's comment about discipline. Hmph. He took care of his students just fine. He didn't need another teacher trying to take his spot. Just to tease her back, Shota chose to have her and Kurotsuki fight last. It was totally fair, right? Oh, how wrong he was about that though he was quite glad to have made the fight last since otherwise he'd probably be so frustrated and may just disappear in the middle of all the fights.

As the match began, Shota kept his eyes on Mela, wondering what his girlfriend would do against the cursed flames of Kurotsuki though he had no doing Mela would be able to do something about it. But when the fight began, it seemed normal at first...until Mela pinned Kurotsuki down onto the ground and from there, things seemed to have taken quite the different course. Just what were they doing? Shota felt his jaw tighten as he clenched his teeth together to hold back a groan at the sight of Mela pressing herself against Kurotsuki. What was that minx scheming now? His attention went to the other hormonal males of his stupid class as they watched the show unfolding before them with appreciative eyes. He gave them all a quick beating with his scarf as he then sharply elbowed All Might in the ribs as even the number one pro-hero couldn't keep his eyes off of them. Tch.

Ignoring Ayumi's comment, Shota coughed into his hand as he told her, "those two are actually more...well behaved....I am not sure what has gotten into them today." And he was definitely going to punish Mela for this later. His eyes stared over at Mela's figure almost hungrily but he kept it at bay...as best as he could though inside he was just in pure turmoil. Did they even know what half if not all of these guys are thinking!? As easily as Shota could have stopped the match, he didn't. Much to the delight of the students and to All Might. When Kurotsuki began her counter-attack, Shota let out a sharp breath, his hands digging into his pockets as he couldn't stray his eyes away from Mela's form...he glared over at the Pinkette. First, there was Yukito and now the other Kurotsuki had her hands all over his Mela. His mind you. Yes, he was definitely going to punish Mela for this...and possibly just fail Kurotsuki. That was fair, right? Though a part of him was thankful for the little show though he wished there wasn't such a large audience. Tsk.

Once the fight ended, Shota held back a groan as he noted Mela to be soaking wet. Really now!? He glared at the students and All Might before dismissing the class, shoving the keys into Ayumi's hands as he told her, "All Might will show you how to lock up a gym." With that, Shota walked over to Mela, dragging her out without giving her a chance to get changed. He has had about enough.

---

Seeing Mela in her new hero costume, All Might felt himself avoiding his gaze as he couldn't look at her directly. She looked too cute and it really didn't help that she looked like some knight, a very cute and pretty knight. His heart felt like it was slowly sinking as he caught how Aizawa looked at Mela and he couldn't help the frown from appearing on his lips. It quickly turned into a smile when Mela turned towards him, him waving at her briefly before turning to watch the matches. Oh yes, at least these will prove to be a form of distraction for him. Though when it was finally Mela's turn, All Might couldn't really tear his gaze away from her. What...were they doing!? He could feel the tips of his ears turning red as he fought down the blush that was threatening to cover his entire face.

The way the girls were pressed against one another to how they were giving teasing little bites here and there, if Mineta Shounen didn't let out a loud needy groan, All Might was certain that they would have heard the small groan of his own. He bit his lip hard as he tried to think pure thoughts, but those movements to those sounds the girls were making...it was so tantalizing and sinful...yet so alluring! A grunt escaped his lips when he felt a rather sharp jab from Aizawa-kun, yes thank you for that. It actually helped keep him somewhat sane as All Might watched the fight till the finish. When the girls fell into the water, All Might let out a small sigh, one of need as he saw Mela's costume stick to her like a second layer of skin. Now, that was just too sinful. What a temptation these girls were putting themselves out to be. And judging from how proud Yukito looked...All Might can only assume that he was part of whatever they have planned. After Aizawa-kun has somehow dismissed the class, All Might can only watch helplessly as Aizawa-kun took Mela away, grabbing onto her arm. He frowned as his heart felt rather painful, but no...this was for the best for everyone...and now he must go take a cold shower to distract himself from the teasing show they were all given.

As Ruka got changed into her new costume, she held back a twitch of annoyance as she looked over at Mela, pouting fully at her friend's words, "please don't be jealous over a costume like this..." there wasn't even pants!? Ruka's outfit consisted of a halter orange dress with little petal slits on the bottom and a white open shoulder, short sleeved overcoat with long wings attached on the back. She was given a lace black and white choker and black thigh highs with lace edges that had a garter belt to hold it up. She wore a cute white, orange and red boot that reached just below her knees. Ruka sat down and let out an annoyed sigh as she played with her wings while Mela styled her hair. She hoped that what they planned would work out. Otherwise, she'd gladly just turn her attention to burning Yukito down for the rest of the time.

As they finished changing Ruka headed out to meet up with the rest of the class, once again feeling self-conscious of her attire. Damn Yukito and always changing things. After Mela was done thanking Yukito, the brunette then bounced over to Ruka, his eyes shining as he eyed her outfit, "oh Ru-chan, you look like an angel~! I knew that costume would suit you!" He leaned over and pecked Ruka on the forehead before she was suddenly dragged away by Shoto. Ruka blinked a few times, both glad and confused. Curious, she silently followed Shoto to around the side of the building as she looked up at him, "Shoto? What's wrong?" Ruka spoke up but when he turned to face her while holding her hands, his gaze look so serious. Somehow she felt her heart beginning to thump nervously. What was about to happen?

As he began to speak up, Ruka wondered if he wanted to break up with her or something. What other important thing did he have to tell her otherwise!? As she was slowly panicking on the inside, all was swept away when Shoto just told her...that he loved her. Ruka's eyes went wide as her mouth hung open in complete surprise. Sure the two were dating...but to think she would hear the word love falling from his lips. Her mouth opened then closed as her entire body felt warm as he began to list out everything he loved about her. So...he loved her for who she was? Ruka could feel small tears stinging the side of her eyes as she leaned into the kiss, happily kissing him back. Staring back into his mismatching eyes, Ruka placed his hand against the side of her face as she happily smiled up at him, "I...I'm so happy to hear that Shoto...and I..." does she love him? Thinking back to everything that's been thrown at her this week, Ruka could say she did love Shoto. With all things considered, she has never felt this way towards another person...ever. "I also love you too...and I hope you will accept my heart." She shyly added the last part and was more than thankful as they were called in for the matches.

Ruka cheered for Shoto and even if he didn't win, to Ruka he was a winner. She held onto Shoto's arm during the matches but Yukito seemed to have other plans as he kept getting in the middle of the two and made sure Ruka had no chance of getting close to Shoto. Thankfully the last match was called and Ruka walked onto the stage, standing across from Mela. She smirked over at her friend, her hands slowly lighting aflame as she replied back, "let's do our best then, Mel~" Immediately, Ruka began to throw large bursts of black flames towards Mela as the two began their little performance, aiming at spots that the two have coordinated for. As Mela dodged the flames, Ruka felt herself being knocked back before finding herself lying on her stomach with Mela on top of her. She was thankful that Mela was on top of her, covering most of her legs as she squirmed under her friend's hold.

When Mela nipped at her ear, Ruka let out a soft moan. No matter what, her ear was a sensitive part of her and that would never change. Squirming a bit more, Ruka let out a small sound as she whined at Mela, "mmm Mel!" That was her little sign to have her turn. Using her leg, Ruka was able to push Mela away before flipping away from her friend. She then held out her two hands, blasting a large whirlwind of black flames towards Mela before she rushed inside of it herself. As the flames died down, the class was given the view of Ruka straddling Mela down, her skirt rising up slightly as she smirked down at her friend. Pinning Mela's hands up above her head, Ruka knocked her forehead against her friend's, murmuring out, "guess it's my turn hm Mel~? If you give in now, I can let you go a little easier~" leaning down, Ruka licked along Mela's neck, her pink tongue grazing against her friend's neck. She could hear the sounds growing louder and were they growing restless too? Ruka held back a chuckle as Mela was able to break free from her hold, though the two were soon at it once more.

After a bit more of teasing their class, Ruka and Mela decided to end things with a little heated kiss. As Ruka went to tackle Mela, the two were toppling over the edge of the stage, only hanging on thanks to Mela's balance before Ruka was suddenly kissed by Mela. As the two fell down the stage with their last kiss of a show, Ruka emerged from the waters soaking wet. Why did they keep getting the water stage? Oh well. Her costume stuck to her like glue as she helped Mela out of the waters as well. She grinned over at Mela, winking at her friend as she licked her lips, "nice match, Mel~"

Namie blinked a few times as Denki mentioned how he actually took her advice and did as she suggested. Oh...well, "I'm glad things are going well for you then." She smiled over at him as she followed the teachers into the gym as the students went off to get changed. As the first match started off, Namie stood by Eijiro as the two chatted a bit until the match began. To her delight it was Denki and so she cheered loudly for him, not minding the curious stares she received from others. As the match ended, Namie hurried to his side with a concerned look crossing her face as she noted him to have several burns. As someone was mentioning taking him to go see Recovery Girl, Namie spoke up as she knelt beside Denki, "I can heal him...if you'll let me?" She turned a questioning gaze to the blonde, happy to hear him comply.

Settling him down on the plush grass, Namie's hands began to glow as she held it over him, the burns and bruises slowly ebbing away as if it was never there, to begin with. A soft smile was gracing her lips the entire time as she healed him. Once she was finished, Namie giggled at the relaxed state Denki was in as she gave him a wide smile, "hehe feeling better? I'm glad..." blinking as he offered to take her out, Namie felt a slight blush dusting her cheeks as she looked off to the side before looking over at him a bit shyly, "a-ah if you insist...then I would love that!" Helping him up, she walked back to watch the rest of the matches with him when he joked about getting hurt. Namie giggled slightly as she reached into her bag to hand him a lollipop as she told him, "I wouldn't want you to get hurt, but I'll be always willing to heal you, Denki-kun. So, then, won't you smile for me?" Holding out the lollipop she smiled over at him.

As the matches continued, Namie was interested as she witnessed the last fight and judging from how Denki reacted, Namie can only assume that the girl he liked was one of them. And how his eyes seemed to stay on the Pinkette, Namie guessed it to be her. She was quite pretty and Namie can understand why Denki would like her, heck most of the boys would probably be crushing on one of the two girls down below, even the teachers seem quite distracted. She hid the frown on her face as she stayed beside Denki, silently watching.

Ruka's sensitive ears were no secret to Mela and she was glad to use that to her advantage. Mela rolled back as Ruka got free. Mela fired off a few arrows as Ruka used another whirlwind of fire to defend herself. Mela wasn't worried about the fire though, not with her outfit made with special fabric from Yukito's very own quirk. The arrows burned to a crisp but Mela found herself suddenly pinned as Ruka straddled her. Just like she had planned. She smirked up at her friend, "Oh nooo, I love a challenge." She purred. Mela giggled at the feel of Ruka's tongue. "Noo that tickles!" She kicked her legs and rolled away from Ruka.

After a few more exchanges of fire and arrows, it was time to put an end to this amusing adventure. Holding onto Ruka, her arms locked around her friend's waist as she leaned up and kissed Ruka. Because Mela was classy, she didn't use any tongue but it was quite a long one until Mela tipped backwards over the edge behind her. She laughed softly as she got out of the water with Ruka, feeling like they had given them all a lot to think about. How could they fail after doing all of that? Mela gave Ruka a wink right back but before she could go change, she felt someone grab her and drag her away. "Ruka, help I'm being kidnapped!" She called out as she grinned to Shota.

Mela had a lot of fun, clearly. Though gun to her head she'd insist it had been a very serious fight. Oh yes. She looked behind her, waving to All Might and the others, thanking Yukito silently as well as Ruka for their help in this scheme. Yes, things had gone perfectly and she could tell Shota was in no mood to play around. "Did you miss me this week?" She teased him innocently. "I've been so busy you know...our fight took a lot of planning you know...I hope you enjoyed it, Ai-za-wa-sen-sei~" She stuck her tongue out. Part of her wanted to just run away to annoy him further but his tight was so hold on her, she didn't think that was actually possible.

"Did you like the fight? I liked it. It was very delightful. All that fire was making me very hot but now I'm quite cold." She whined, shaking her hair a bit like a dog hehe.

Ruka giving him her heart made him so happy. He was relieved to know she loved him too, that someone might look to him with such fondness. It was the best thing he had heard in a long time. He wanting nothing more than to take her somewhere and love every inch of her. But the matches had to take place before anything else could happen, much to his annoyance. As he watched Ruka struggle against Mela who was on top of her, he felt his pants strain slightly. He was glad he didn't have to fight anymore because he didn't think he'd be able to. Both mentally and physically. Shoto breathed in hard, wishing he was in Mela's place.

His eyes watched every moment his lover made as she used her flames to defend but also distract. When Ruka pinned Mela down this time, he felt something in his stomach churn. He couldn't even focus on anything as he let out a low groan, knowing every male, and even one or two females were barely even blinking. Or breathing. He wanted to do so many things to Ruka. He chewed on his lower lip when Ruka licked the girl's neck. Oh Ruka was being a tease. He felt his nails dig into his palms as he watched the two engage in a kiss once Ruka tackled Mela where they hung precariously over the edge. The kiss looked quite passionate and his jaw dropped as the girls feel into the water again. He just stared at Ruka as she got out, looking oddly happy with the outcome.

Before his mind could even catch up with him or free itself from his steamy haze, he found his feet moving over to where Ruka was. Yes, he was done being teased and taunted. Shoto was going to take Ruka somewhere and show her just how much he was in need of her. Pulling her along, he kept his gaze ahead, their hands clasped together. His heart was racing and he needed some relief now. "That fight was very interesting, my love." He said in a low velvety voice as he decided they could first find an empty classroom before heading back to her place for a more in-depth punishment. Yes, this would be location one of two where he'd have his Queen on her knees heh.

"You are too much of a tease. I should do something about it." He growled as he pulled open the door of the classroom they had occupied before locking it behind her.

"Your class is so impressive." Ayumi said flatly, it was almost sarcastic but it also made Ayumi wish she had attended UA when she was younger. If this was what they were teaching then...okay. She had to wonder what sort of twisted things came to this guy's mind when he saw two female students going at it, almost quite literally. She noticed even All Might was losing it. She walked behind some of the guys who were beginning to drool at Kurotsuki and Uede and smacked them with her metal broom. She heard a young round boy beginning to make comments about the pink haired girl to which Ayumi knocked a bit extra hard on the head, knocking him out for a bit.

Sighing, Ayumi marched back to see the conclusion of the fight. She noticed a boy with red and white hair looked rather conflicted and stunned. She rolled her eyes. Guys, so predictable. Though Ayumi couldn't help but quietly clap for the girls who at least knew their audience. When Aizawa took off, shoving the key in her hands, she watched him stalk the young girl in white and blue. Ayumi pouted slightly, needing to ask Hizashi about that before she saw All Might dismiss everyone to get changed while he excused himself too. Ayumi shook her head again, picking up Mineta to take him to Medical Girl.

He didn't think Namie would actually agree to be taken out. He was already preparing himself to be let down and then he'd just go back to bed or something. But when she seemed okay with it, he felt a strange butterfly sensation in his tummy. Was it the side effects of her healing quirk perhaps? When presented with another lollipop, he smiled at that. He was literally too sweet for him. He took it, still unsure if he deserved it since he lost. "Thank you. I don't think I deserve it but...thank you." Denki nodded. He unwrapped it and put it in his mouth. Oh, green apple! He gave her a smile as his eyes settled on her. But once Ruka started to fight, like everyone else, his eyes didn't leave the arena.

He looked down and sucked thoughtfully on his lollipop. Just because he was trying to get over her, didn't mean he couldn't admire her. She was just mesmerized by the fire and the flips and the takedowns. The fight ended far too soon as they were dismissed. He felt himself a bit static as he got up and looked to Namie, blinking. "Let's go out." He said. "I'll go change first." He rubbed his neck, in need of a shower. Yes a long cold shower. When Denki came out, he had on jeans and a white tee shirt, as well as his leather jacket. "Come on, Namie-san. How about a slice of pizza?" He asked, secretly glad Ruka was nowhere to be found. After seeing that, he didn't think he could look her in the eye without blushing.
