March 13, 2021:
89 days since the first outbreak announcement:

The City lay desolated. Silence drifted through the littered streets. Abandoned cars were scattered around the dismal city. The stench of death wafted from the neglected ruins. The virus had ripped apart society. So few people had been left in its wake. Their hope was all but bleak. The Evacuation left the city in a dreary, deserted state. evidence of disorder could be seen everywhere. From the skies all that could be seen was devastation. No one knew what this virus was, were it sourced from. In the quickness of its appearance, it swept across us all, turning the survivors into creatures beyond description. We know so little about them, each creature is different, in its own way unique and dangerous. These creatures that raise from the depth of hell plague the ruined building and streets. There power beyond this world. Knifes make mere cuts into the fabric of a highly regenerative creature. It didn't matter the totality of your weapon, if you came across them, run. If they see you, run. Better yet, don't be seen at all. That was the only way to survive.
If you came across other survivors, there was three things that secured your death. The symptoms of those who are infected. Those who will turn.

His feet crunched on the rocks scattered across the ground, colliding with shattered glass. Soft hazel hues looked over the road, a dark hooded form looking over the desolate roads. It was quiet. That wasn't always a good thing. His eyes shifted to the left, a small local store stood mostly untouched. The parking lot full of cars and debris of unkept trash and ruin. There was no telling what was in it. It could of likely been raided, or perhaps there was a fresh meal. It was the risk of everyday coming to search. He gripped the backpack slung across his back, moving forward. On his hip laid a black glossy handgun, grinding against his hip. One the long of his back was a long slender katana. More rare for this country, but it worked well for a more silent defense. Making too much noise brought others. That was never a good idea. He sighed, moving towards the front of the building, a ding echoing as the door slid open, indicating a new customer. He grinded his teeth at the sound looking up to the door sensor scowling, moving in with tense shoulders his eyes scanning across the store isles. No movement, that was a good sign. He slung his backpack forward in front of him, moving down the isles, unzipping the front, calmly grabbing non-perishables, shoving the cans into his bag. He needed to be quick.
